▶ 0:00 [unclear] told us in previous lessons that we can fight against God because we don’t understand God or his scriptures that we read and hear weekly and the Jews when Christ came their messiah came actually killed the messiah because they did not understand the scriptures that they were studying and reading and being taught and they did not understand God but today I want to show you another source you may understand God you may understand the scriptures but this source doesn’t care all right. In first Peter 5:8 be alert your adversary the Devil is as a roaring lion walking about seeking whom he may devour or destroy we’ve got an adversary Satan here he is in sheep’s clothing hiding behind the mask of Christianity.

▶ 1:05 In 2nd Corinthians 11:14 Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Okay here’s an artist’s conception of an angel of light which I cut the wings off of as angels don’t have wings. But Satan disguises himself as an angel of light I told you I went back to the supposed Lakeland revival years ago because God was supposed to be doing some great visitation and they were promoting angels and the message of the angel was not the message of the Bible so the angel that was visiting these people was what. Satan disguising himself as an angel of light behind that disguise is Satan and you know it by the message and I was shocked to how thousands of people fell for that malarkey.

He got the [unclear] the pope position by killing those that opposed it there were other ones that were wanting to be the pope so he just killed his opposition thou shalt not kill he broke isn’t that right. He committed adultery with the women in the church married women unmarried women. He sold young ladies and children. as slaves to get money to build a fancy cathedral you know if you don’t have the real thing you try to

Beautiful looking facilities and all the rest to give people an impression that they’re being spiritual and it has nothing to do with anything and he got money to build and make his church fancy and to live a rich life he also prostituted the women in the church and the nuns. To get money to build the temple other popes did the same thing including same sex they committed homosexual acts and the Catholic church today is caught all the time doing the same thing sex with children in their congregation isn’t that right it makes the news this apostasy this falling away is still going on that God said he could not come until the apostasy the falling away came from the gospel of Christ and

▶ 4:21 mankind’s sin revealed who are heirs of destruction all right they honor Mary they honor saints they honor idols you know you put idol in your car and you’re going to be safe and a lot of cars are in the junkyard from having an accident with the saint right there on the dashboard why because it means nothing they give you a false impression of spirituality and what the church is when it’s nothing the ministers can’t marry oh but they can commit adultery [unclear] with other women in the church and married women in the church but boy we’re married to Jesus well you just committed it if you’re really married to Jesus you just committed adultery with God himself are you there it makes no sense.

▶ 5:14 The nuns can’t marry the robes they get these robes and these crowns on their head and they give titles of the pope and the father and the bishop and their archbishop and the mother and they give all these titles that everybody feels important and it has nothing to do with the power of God to save people isn’t that right yeah. It is all false signs of authority and power. Putting a crown on your head doesn’t change you a bit putting robes on you doesn’t change you a bit in fact one priests that I read about he said he put his robes on after graduating from [unclear] Catholic seminary and he says I looked in the mirror I had my robe on and I was the same guy well duh yeah. God changes the heart not a robe or a catechism class isn’t that right.

▶ 6:12 now you cannot blame all Catholics for bad leaders just like you can’t blame all Bible Jews because of their bad leaders when Christ came the leaders of the Jewish religion were corrupt they were bad they had doctrines of men they were wealthy they loved recognition just like today. But there was Mary and Joseph who was different in the midst of that corruption there was Zechariah and Elizabeth who were perfect concerning the law in the midst of that corruption there was James and Andrew and John and I can go on and on who in spite of the corrupt leaders went to the temple and worship God in spirit and in truth so don’t condemn everyone because their leaders are corrupt could that be an amen.

▶ 7:13 No. We’re not ignorant of Satan’s purposes 2nd Corinthians 2:11 we’re not ignorant of his devices his schemes. And we gave you in 2nd Thessalonians 2:9 that chapter about the apostasy the falling away and mankind sin being revealed and men building their own doctrine on the gospel. These lawless people whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders what kind of wonders false wonders. Now as a young Christian I read that like these people are going to be able to you know walk on water and all the rest these are false wonders. They’re not the real deal and they.

▶ 8:07 Also come after the working of Satan with all deceit and. injustice that is evil in them that perish them that are destroyed. which earlier in the chapter said they were heirs Descendants of destruction not one person but anyone in the falling away could that be an amen everybody’s got you looking for one person in this chapter and it’s anyone that’s lawless and is doing these things now I’m going to give you an example. and lying wonders in my generation okay on the screen you will see a handsome young man when he started out his name is Jim Jones he started out in an Assembly of God church as an associate pastor you can be an associate pastor in an Assembly of God church without being ordained [unclear] Assembly of God then he moved on to the Latter Rain group.

▶ 9:19 Because they were using the word of knowledge and stuff and and I told you before there was the real deal and there were their people who were impersonated the real deal you understand Billy Graham was the real deal and there were people that tried to be Billy Graham and you can’t and there were men back there that had gifts of healing and stuff the real deal for a short period of time and then there were people that impersonated it anyway he picked up from the Latter Rain [unclear] some principles some gifts of the spirit that they had but he wound up being ordained by the Disciples of Christ today they call themselves the Christian Church they are a Unitarian church they’re [unclear] church they are the World Council of Churches

▶ 10:13 originators they believe that all roads lead to the same God [unclear] that’s who wound up ordaining him now in his church he really emphasized helping the poor I mean he really did and he did an amazing program he also exercises in his church a word of knowledge that he could read your mind and tell you you know from God that this that the other and he also had false miracles he knew how to. Make miracles look like miracles when they weren’t miracles for instance you can put a guy on a chair and you can bring his legs up and if you bring his legs up slightly to one side the other one will be shorter than the other.

Did you see that yeah okay okay I just want to get confirmation I don’t want you people thinking I’m lying at first it looks so wow man but then when you seek God and analyze it it’s just fiction they’re doing it as a show he even paid people to come into the church and pretend to be healed by him of some great sickness [unclear] and so forth things that that people could see and they’d really didn’t happen. this is Jim Jones all the while he’s committing adultery with women in his church had children by them.

▶ 12:04 all the while he’s taking drugs alcohol [unclear] all the while. Thousands came to his churches he had more than one he had a bus ministry that was equal to nobody he would send hundreds of people out in buses throughout America. To minister to the poor and bring them in. The civil authorities especially in San Francisco Los Angeles and I forget the other town honored him as citizen of the year because of his work with the poor. Because everybody thinks you’re great if you’re helping the poor. All the while he’s committing adultery taking drugs and he’s taking [unclear] people’s money he’s a prosperity teacher you give to me God’s gonna bless your socks off everybody’s gonna be wealthy just give to me you know so that seed of giving and God’s gonna give you more back then you give to me but make sure you give to me.

▶ 13:18 And people actually gave their properties they gave their pensions to this guy thousands. He taught Jesus was Lord he taught that Jesus had come in the flesh so he was not antichrist. He taught that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world he taught the basic gospel but as it says in 2nd Thessalonians 2 they added to and exalt themselves above God.

▶ 13:52 You see they had the gospel but they added to it are you there so don’t be looking for somebody [unclear] says Christ didn’t come in the flesh they may be saying it and don’t be looking for somebody that isn’t preaching Christ they may be but it’s these things they add to it that’s going to bring destruction to the people so he talked the people into having a commune in South America and he would have services where he would say if you trust me as a prophet of God come up and drink the Kool-Aid and these people would come up and drink the Kool-Aid we trust you [unclear] you know that’s totally against Bible our trust is in Jesus not some pastor not some minister Jesus and his word that’s where our trust is and then one service he asked them to come up and drink the Kool-Aid and it was poison and almost a thousand people died.

▶ 15:01 And he put a gun to his head and shot himself. Are you there that’s in our generation if you’re looking for some big antichrist that they’re talking about all over the world you’re missing it we got them right now all over the world are you there the apostate is real we’re not ignorant of his devices his purposes the Bible says he’s an accuser of the brethren he comes to rob steal kill and destroy ruin your life if he can if he can’t kill you he wants to ruin your life and he wants to tempt you to sin and fall away from the gospel in 1st John 3 and John 8 it says that Satan sinned from the beginning.

▶ 15:53 It says also that he murdered in the beginning it says also that he lied in the beginning so if Satan was there at the beginning let’s take a look at how he murdered how he lied and how he sinned is that fair enough yeah let’s go back to the beginning okay so we have Satan in action I have a picture here of the serpent’s head because before the serpent was cursed it didn’t crawl around on its belly and we don’t know what that serpent looked like before but we know the Bible says he is the most subtle the most conniving of all the animals that God created and he could talk wow.

We’re gonna see that Satan deceived and lied to Eve but Eve was the one that was punished. See Satan’s punishment is destined at the end of the world but Eve took the punishment for what Satan targeted her to do and it affected the rest of future mankind folks when we sin when we behave wrong it affects our spouse it affects our children it affects our parents it affects our community it affects our church it affects our nation you don’t just sin isolated by yourself it affects those you’re around.

Are you an example to the believer can they see by what you do and how you speak that you are following the gospel of Christ. Hallelujah shouldn’t that be our goal yeah. Now. So we go to the scriptures Genesis 3:4 the serpent which is called the Devil and Satan in Revelation 12:9 the serpent spoke I mean Satan spoke through the [unclear] serpent and he said to Eve you shall not die now God said you’ll die [unclear] if you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil so Satan what lied at the beginning amen just like the scripture said he was right there at the beginning.

All-powerful all-knowing. But. She forgot this part of the statement. You’ll be like God knowing good and evil now they already knew good. It’s evil that they didn’t know they didn’t know they were naked they didn’t know there was something they could do wrong except [unclear] eat of that tree of knowledge of good and evil and folks from the very beginning the whole thing is about good.

▶ 19:53 God wants you to be good he didn’t care about your faith unless your faith is causing you to do good. Could that be true yeah you see from the very beginning it’s all about doing good that was the requirement doing good. isn’t that what Jesus preached. Does the Bible say God is good we just sing it this morning. is Jesus good okay are we to be like him so we’re to be good. Doesn’t matter what kind of gifts of the spirit you got or anything else or any stupid doctrine you dream up are you good is that doctrine gonna make you a good person could that be an amen at the beginning it was all about good and it still is now in 1st Timothy 2:14 Eve was deceived or led to error and she transgressed turned from what was right now Satan.

▶ 21:09 Is the one that lied to her through the serpent but Satan is lying to us today through people through humanists atheists sexual homosexual activists religionists okay evolutionists. All these people are. Saying that a criminal and addict either alcohol or drugs. or people that want to have sex with kids have a disease and we can cure them and we can change them by psychological programs. That’s what they’re telling and Americans are believing it Christians are believing it it’s not a sin it’s not a crime it is a disease that psychology can [unclear].

▶ 22:10 Do you are you aware that raise your hand if you’re aware that yeah. But when it comes to the homosexual lesbians and homosexuals they say no no it’s not a disease we were born that way you see the hypocrisy. these other sex acts including incest is a disease but not homosexuality. They were born that way and can’t be changed and California just passed a law stating if you try to change them you’re breaking the law and you can be punished now how am I going to preach the gospel if I don’t try to change the homosexual and if they really back up that law I’m going to wind up in jail for preaching the Bible preaching the truth. They also tell us that welfare without work will eliminate poverty.

▶ 23:06 And poverty in America is having a smartphone color TV air conditioning. We improve the poor people’s life without improving their character to work if they have a baby give them more money if they have two babies double the money all we do is enable people to be irresponsible and. these are our Yale and Harvard graduates. Supposed to be the brains of America but the wisdom from above can’t be learned in the college can it that’s why it comes from above but they bombard us with these things just like Satan used Eve and lied to Eve Satan is using them and lying to the American people could that be an amen.

▶ 24:03 They also say Jesus is not God the Bible is a book of myth Jesus did no miracles Jesus was not born of a virgin that can’t be that’s impossible he didn’t die and resurrect that’s impossible and it’s Satan is not a real person is just a an allegory and and hell is not a place at all it’s just an allegory and these people are teaching this stuff all those groups including religionists. Behind religion they are teaching this nonsense. so there’s no need to depart from evil now in verse 22 [unclear] God says now [unclear] know good and evil if they eat of the tree of life they will live forever and the Lord God sent them from the garden of Eden so they wouldn’t eat of the tree of life and live in that condition okay.

▶ 25:00 the Bible goes on to tell us that Adam died [unclear] at the age 930 years he did die just like God said are you there Satan lied to them but they spiritually lived forever as God killed the first lamb this is what Satan didn’t know God had [unclear] in his plan a way for people that disobeyed to come back to him so he killed the first lamb and for you women that just can’t stand animals being slaughtered God slaughtered the first one. Take your complaints to him. And he vowed he promised he prophesied that Christ would come to die and destroy the authority of Satan and cover their sin.

▶ 26:03 So Adam and Eve could repent and they did because the Bible speaks good of them all through the rest of the Bible isn’t that right they didn’t die spiritually the higher law negates the lower law thank God for the higher law and no matter how much you feel condemned or anything today the higher law the spirit of life in Christ Jesus will set you free from the law of sin and death amen. Now. So the pattern is this Satan the destroyer lied. He targeted Eve with his lie Eve is the target the serpent is the vessel he’s the minister he’s the servant of Satan Eve is the target and Eve became the victim of the lie and God became the savior or the corrector.

▶ 27:04 It’s the same principle today if you’re fooled by Satan you can go to God and he’ll correct the situation hmm. Amen. All right now. We go to the beginning again we’re gonna take a look at Satan stirring Cain to anger I know none of you people in here have a problem with anger at all but I know this is written for other people but Cain was stirred to anger till he murdered. Abel and even though Satan did this Cain was going to be judged and punished. Cain [unclear] Abel killed [unclear] took his life it hurt his parents [unclear] Cain’s own offspring.

▶ 28:01 Lamech descendants of Cain later killed people and said [unclear] avenged seven times [unclear] avenged seventy times okay that that killing that anger just kept going down through the generations see your sin and your decision to do wrong can affect those around you and affect people for generations so it is best that we [unclear] do good amen. So we go to the scriptures Cain was very angry in Genesis 4:5 and his countenance fell and that’s what happens when you get angry your eyes [unclear]. Your face [unclear] and your mouth really shows it I hate you you blankety-blank son of a blankety-blank white blank blank.

▶ 29:00 See the countenance falls the mouth shows that the eye shows that the facial feature shows it then it moves down into the body and then you [unclear]. Now if that don’t work you grab a rock and hit [unclear]. Or a gun or a knife and then we want to blame the rock for the murder the gun or the knife when it’s the person that did the murdering that’s how. Unsensible America’s minds are right now. We kill because we don’t rule over anger and we speak things from anger. Now later we’ll say I’m sorry and then we’ll do it again and I.

Then God said now folks you got to understand God’s here the person of God is here atheists are always saying well if I could see God I would believe or if I could see a miracle I would believe but Jesus said if they won’t believe the preaching of the prophets the preaching of the gospel the scriptures they won’t believe though one rose from the dead which is a miracle [unclear] isn’t that true yeah Christ rose from the dead and they still don’t believe it. So it’s just an excuse now here God is talking to Cain God is talking to Cain you get this in your head it’s not Adam talking to Cain [unclear] it’s God talking personally to Cain are you here okay God said to Cain if you.

▶ 31:09 Do good you’ll be accepted here it is again at the beginning what’s it all about doing good say it doing good are you striving to be a good person with your behavior and with your mouth. That’s what it’s all about it’s not about healing the sick and raising the dead and prophesy and it’s about you being a new creature in Christ Jesus the old sinful man rebellious man killed and the new man of righteousness brought forth. Amen and it’s right at the beginning and Satan didn’t like it at the beginning he opposed it he says you’ll be accepted if you do good has nothing to do with your faith you’ll be accepted if you just believe no you’ll be accepted if you do good.

▶ 32:16 You’ll be accepted if you feel good about yourself. isn’t that what motivational teaching [unclear] make you feel good about yourself no that won’t make you accept well here you got to do good not feel good about yourself you got to do good that’s what God accepts even your tithes don’t move God some people think if they give to God that is the religious. Righteous thing and God’s blessing them when he [unclear] blessing everybody else around them [unclear] don’t tithe. Doing good is the high calling of God can that be true yeah absolutely even if you pray for the sick and they get healed it’s not above doing good okay acceptance from God is do good do we agree with that at the beginning [unclear] true at the end true every man stood before the white throne judgment and was judged by the deeds they did isn’t that right whether they did good or where they did evil beginning in the end it’s about being good.

▶ 33:28 Doesn’t matter if you ever win a soul to Christ or whatever it’s about being good now sin lies at your door [unclear] Cain sin’s lying at your door now we heard we read that Satan’s sinned at the beginning isn’t that right so Satan is lying at his door. Sin is the violation of God’s word God’s law that’s what sin is but in Revelation. Jesus said I stand at the door and knock. Satan not knocking he’s just lying there. Jesus is knocking let me in he says if any man will open the door I will come in and sup with him and he with me I will fellowship with him and he with me all my goodness I’ll bestow upon him are you there have you opened the door to Christ have you opened the door to Satan he’s there.

And though Satan is causing you to do something it’s you that’s going to pay the price and those around you and we can blame Satan but it’s you that’s going to be held accountable and others are going to be hurt by your behavior all right now Cain killed Abel and he was judged and disciplined to hard labor even more than before and he was a wanderer and he left God’s presence God would not let him stay in his presence God is there in person talking to Cain and said Cain one of the areas of your punishment is you can’t be in my presence anymore and didn’t bother Cain a bit.

First John 3:12 do not be like Cain who was of that wicked one. he let Satan in the door and slew his brother and why did he slay his brother because his own works were evil and his brother’s were righteous they were good and let me tell you something Abel’s blood spoke it said it says it in Genesis and it says it in the New Testament. Abel was not just one that lived good privately.

Do what is right and the Bible says Abel offered a more excellent sacrifice than Cain his offering wasn’t just the lamb that God offered but it was the sacrifice of righteousness. isn’t that what the Bible tells us to offer worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness right living that’s the best sacrifice right living and so Cain wasn’t being silent and when Cain’s not silent and he’s telling people why he’s doing right and why Cain is wrong then that threatens. The evildoer and they want to get rid of the mouthpiece are you there.

We got to speak folks we can’t just be good people in our four corners in our [unclear] four rooms a little house we got to speak what is good and stand up when the vote came Abel’s stood up for good when laws were made Abel stood up for right laws are you there. So. there’s no scripture reference that Cain ever confessed and repented he simply accepted his punishment took his anger with him. Driven away from the presence of God didn’t care about God and he wandered the rest of his life and he started his own religion. He didn’t have any problem leaving his mom and dad.

▶ 39:57 He was so stubborn and so into evil he just started his own religion his own moral standards and his offspring. were beneficiaries of it Jesus hits it in John chapter 8 your behavior is like your father the Devil he said to the Jews Satan was a murderer from the beginning okay. He abode not in the truth because there’s no truth in him do we understand that there’s no truth in Satan. When he speaks a lie he speaks of his own for he is a liar and the father of lies. And. That was at the beginning and we saw that the scriptures were true Satan was there lying and murdering at the beginning isn’t that right just like the Bible said now what lie did Satan tell Cain.

▶ 41:01 In 2nd Thessalonians the chapter of the falling away it says he will send them strong delusion that they believe a lie the lie of the apostasy the lie of adding to the gospel. The lie that injustice or evil is good. Injustice is ok homosexual lifestyles okay abortions okay. [unclear] getting water baptized is okay. Not going to church is okay not tithing is okay. Are you there. Think about it.

▶ 41:57 And many Christians in America today are believing the lie. if God don’t accept you go start your own religion create your own moral standards and leave out confessing and repenting isn’t that what many are doing today. If God’s gospel does not accept them they just go start their own church Bill Clinton did that when his Southern Baptist church stood against abortion and homosexuality he went and started his own Baptist church that [unclear] took the scriptures twisted them around and accepted abortion and homosexuality just start your own religion did you guys know that I’ve told you once before.

▶ 42:54 Yeah and you know what people are doing I just go start my own religion I’ll get my own moral standards. That’s the lie so the pattern is the destroyer Satan wanted to murder Abel the target the victim so he got Cain his servant the vessel to do the work and then God came and judged and what’s the big statement today don’t judge don’t judge did God judge both incidents yes now God judged here for murder but after Noah’s flood the flood of Noah God gave it to mankind to judge and you can’t blame God today. For bad people when he gave you the responsibility of dealing with bad people and that includes the corporal punishment of death for death.

But I learned as time went by that tongues was not the sign of the baptism and Holy Ghost like Pentecostals want to say this is a good sign of being filled with the Holy Ghost if you are a good person.

▶ 45:01 no tongues no prophecy no healing no nothing if the Holy Ghost can convict you of sin righteousness and the judgment to come and you can live a righteous life for God that is a good indication that the Holy Ghost is working in your life could that be an amen. He is also full of faith very interesting a lot of people talk about their faith have you heard them my faith my faith my faith my faith you even say it my faith my faith my I believe I believe who cares what you believe what does the Bible say. Now he was full of faith and his faith made him what a good man what is your faith making you can you [unclear] four-letter words that Jesus would never use.

Now that was a way before I understood the scriptures on all that I saw the vision of it and I started understanding other scriptures that that is true.

▶ 47:53 Much people were added to the Lord now folks if you think they’re added to the Lord because he was filled with the Holy Ghost and because he had fullness of faith you don’t know your scriptures God has chosen the foolishness of preaching that all might be saved. Isn’t that right. Barnabas preached the good work he didn’t just live it he preached it and because he preached it multitudes were added to the Lord not to some church added to the Lord isn’t that who we should be adding people to to the shepherd of the flock. ▶ 48:49 can [unclear] do miracles though I give all my goods to feed the poor man I’m really sold on helping the poor and I am gonna give my body to be burned for my doctrine and I ain’t giving up my doctrine and they can kill me he says if you don’t have love if you’re not good remember the Bible says to love your neighbor as yourself is the fulfillment of the law because love does no harm. Love does good now that doesn’t mean we can’t discipline criminals. Okay but love does good. And that fulfills the whole law.. He says if you don’t have love and this is working in your life you are nothing and it profits you nothing it isn’t doing you a hill of beans worth of good God would rather you be a good husband a good wife a good mom a good dad a good child a good citizen a good church member than any of the gifts.

▶ 50:00 And we need the gifts because it helps build the church but you notice how the emphasis is on the gifts of the spirit not the fruit of the spirit. There’s a message coming on that. You know we loved being this supernatural realm but there are fruits of the spirit. That everybody can have gifts you can only have if God gives them to you the fruits you can grow into now. How many of you today and we’re a small number. these people I listened to [unclear] Saturday was from enormous churches. Huge and we’re just a small group.

▶ 50:56 But if we can be a good person like Barnabas and share that good doctrine with others can people be added to our church added to the Lord yes we got to get the word out folks. somewhere God has got to stir us to get the word out to people I don’t do anybody any good in my house somewhere I got to get out and share the goodness of Christ with them so this morning two things that Holy Ghost has shared with us the responsibility has given us from the beginning is to do good and if you do that it doesn’t matter if you’re ever a prophet a pastor or a teacher or whatever if you’re doing that you are attaining the goal of God and secondly. We’ve got to share that. like Abel cried out we got to share this good gospel and let the Holy Spirit do the work.
