From the sermonWhy Did Christ Die for Sinners? — August 15, 2021 · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

Pastor David G. Kincer answers why Christ died for sinners if people can repent by conscience. Going back to Genesis like clean water at a river’s source, he shows the law of death and life, God slaying the first animal in Adam and Eve’s place, and the promised Seed who would crush Satan. Christ, slain before the foundation of the world, bought us from sin, Satan and death, and knowing Him is far better than conscience alone.

What is the question of the day?

▶ Watch this part (32:18)

Short answer: Why did Christ die for sinners, if people can repent by their conscience and have eternal life without hearing of Him?

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 32:18 We ask this in your wonderful name Lord and everyone said amen. You may find your seats those standing and ask Pastor Kincer to come on up and share God’s word. We’re going to continue talking about. Matthew 13 the parable of the sower. Jesus said let both the good seed and the bad seed grow together. The good seed will grow brighter and brighter. Until the end day. And the bad seed will grow worse and worse till the end day. Then he said I’m going to take the bad seed first very contrary to almost every end-time prophecy theory.

▶ 33:12 Jesus said the children of the wicked one are going to be taken first and burned in the fire. So. In today’s society in today’s church world we hear so much about things getting worse and worse perilous times are coming the great falling away tribulation wars rumors of wars hurricanes earthquake and we don’t hear much about the fulfillment or the promised fulfillment that God’s children the good seed will grow brighter and brighter until the end amen but we need to hear that the church is not finished in this earth yet so the question of the day. Why did Christ die for sinners.

What do atheists and Jews ask online?

▶ Watch this part (34:07)

Short answer: Why does the Bible approve of a human sacrifice, and why do I need someone to die for me when I can just change my ways?

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 34:07 If their conscience. And their mind. Can. By their conscience and mind they can repent for and have eternal life. Without having faith in Christ because they never heard him and without hearing his laws though they obey his laws but they’ve never heard his laws. Then the atheists and the Jews especially in when I converse on Facebook I have I converse with Jews Muslims atheists they’re all there and they have. A. Question. And that is why does the Bible approve of human sacrifices. That Jesus died on the cross.

▶ 35:03 And why do I need someone to die for me when I can just change my ways the atheist says I can be good without God. The Jew says. We can repent without Christ. And we just showed you in Romans 2 that those that never heard of the gospel. Never heard of God’s laws could get into heaven by keeping the very laws that they never heard of because they are just natural laws. That anybody with a conscience and anybody with an intellectual mind can. Figure out that hey this is the way to live you know don’t commit adultery don’t steal don’t kill. So that is the question of the day and even followers of Christ ask this question.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Romans 2:14-15 (NKJV)

for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)

If there’s another way, why the cross?

▶ Watch this part (36:01)

Short answer: Jesus is the way no matter what way He allows us in; He came to call sinners, not the righteous, to repentance.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 36:01 See when I say there’s another way to salvation. They’ll go well why did Christ die on the cross then if there’s another way. Jesus said he’s the way the truth and the life he is the way no matter what way he allows us to get in he’s still the way could that be an amen yes so remember we shared with you last week that Jesus said I came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance so there were righteous people in the earth when he came to mary he didn’t ask mary to repent and get baptized. He just said mary. That which is conceived in you is going to be the son of God the Holy Spirit’s going to overshadow you and you’re going to birth the son of God didn’t ask her to repent he didn’t go to some prostitute or or some.

▶ 36:57 [unclear] virgin to be birthed, he went to a righteous virgin see he didn’t come to save the righteous he came to turn the sinner from their ways amen ask them to repent and we showed you in Ezekiel 18 and Ezekiel 33 they both say the same thing when God repeats himself it’s very important when the wicked man turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right he shall save his soul alive and that’s what Paul said the Gentiles were doing they were following God’s law without knowing it and you know they corrected their error their mistake and Ezekiel said they will live he said it twice when the righteousness of the righteous when they.

Scripture (NKJV)

John 14:6 (NKJV)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Ezekiel 18:27 (NKJV)

Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive.

— Ezekiel 18:27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:57 (quoted; reference not named in the message)
Scripture (NKJV)

Ezekiel 33:12-16 (NKJV)

“Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: ‘The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.’ When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die. Again, when I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right, if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

— Ezekiel 33:12-16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:57 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Is “the law” only the law of Moses?

▶ Watch this part (37:51)

Short answer: No; Paul and Jesus quote Isaiah and the Psalms as “the law,” and Jesus wrote the Old Testament.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 37:51 Commit wickedness in the day that they commit wickedness they’ll not be remembered for their righteousness anymore but then he turns around and says but the wicked will not fall thereby in the day that he turns from his wickedness so that righteous man that turned to wickedness he turned back to righteousness he’s still alive aren’t you glad you can repent. So if this is all true why did Christ have to die on the cross there’s one more thing we need to establish this lesson on. Is a a a thinking that handicaps the church they think when they talk God talks about his laws and even when Paul talks about God’s laws that they’re talking about the ten commandments or Moses law that’s all and the baptist the fundamentalists are really deep into this the law of Moses.

▶ 38:50 But the law. Talks a lot a lot more. In the Bible than the law of Moses now let me give you an illustration okay um. First Corinthians 14:21 Paul said in the law it is written. With men of other tongues and lips will I speak unto these people. Okay. Paul said what. In the law well when you go look up this verse with other tongue and lips I was speaking to his people it’s found in Isaiah 28:11. Yet Paul said it’s what the law whoo. I have Moses has nothing to do with this. Also in John 10:34 Jesus said is it not written in your law talking to the Jews talking to the Jewish leaders and so forth is it not written in your law and catch this church open your ears here this is a review.

▶ 39:59 Jesus said I said you are God Jesus wrote the old. Testament are you there church. Jesus was before he ever came to earth born of a virgin okay. And he said that in Psalms 82:6. Not in the law of Moses at all in fact there’s other verses like John 12:34 the people said to Jesus we have heard out of the law that Christ abides forever the messiah lives forever. Okay he had no beginning no end and and a lot of Christians cannot see this they cannot see that Jesus. Existed before he was born.

Who are we following?

▶ Watch this part (40:51)

Short answer: Not some good man; Jesus Christ, God Himself in a fleshly body.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 40:51 Of mary. Because they think with their natural mind there’s a father in heaven saying you know my son this is my son how what is he doing talking to himself they come up with all this stuff because we try to bring the spiritual things down to a natural understanding. But Jesus was God in the flesh. God in that fleshly body named Jesus name the I am named emmanuel that was God. And a lot of Christians can’t get around that. But this should enlighten you to that Jesus said. Is it not written in your law I said Jesus said what I wrote the book. Amen.

What are shadow laws?

▶ Watch this part (41:45)

Short answer: Sacrifices and holy days that could never please God or take away sin; we’re not under shadow law.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 41:45 This is not some good man we’re following we are following God. We are following Jesus Christ God himself in a fleshly body who died for us so. The shadow laws are also in the Old Testament and they spoke of good things to come and they’re found in Isaiah 1:11 through 17 it’s very clear that sacrifices holy days and all that were strictly shadow laws they could never please God they could never take away sin Isaiah is very clear on it. And yet most Christians have never heard of shadow laws. And when Paul says we’re not under law we’re under grace we’re not under shadow law. And we’re not under the law of sin and death but we are under God’s civil and righteous wise laws could that be an amen so the whole Bible is God’s law can I hear an amen okay that’s important so we’re going to go back to Genesis to answer this question why did Jesus die and in Genesis we see three issues all right and we’re going back to Genesis because the Bible says I am the Lord thy God I change not I am the same yesterday today and forever.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Isaiah 1:11-17 (NKJV)

“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?” Says the LORD. “I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, Or of lambs or goats. “When you come to appear before Me, Who has required this from your hand, To trample My courts? Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood. “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.

— Isaiah 1:11-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 41:45 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Why go back to Genesis?

▶ Watch this part (43:15)

Short answer: The water is cleanest at its source; like the polluted Kentucky river, men pollute God’s river when they distort the Bible.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 43:15 And I cannot lie. So if God is the same yesterday today and forever if he doesn’t change then he should be the same in Genesis. That he is. In Revelation. That makes sense absolutely now. We’re going to Genesis because the water is the most clean. And pure at its source. Down in Kentucky I was born in the Appalachian mountains and we lived right beside the north fork of the Kentucky river and here is the head waters of that Kentucky river okay that was about two miles from where I lived now when it got to my house it was about three times wider than that and it had areas where it was deep we could swim in dive in we could fish in it we in the summer we bathed in it and swam it I mean that river was just that was my playground.

▶ 44:22 But as time went by oh and not just time went by when my dad took me down to Whitesburg the closest town and I was on that bridge as a little boy looking down at that river it wasn’t the same river it had debris and trash and everything on its banks and floating down there where people in town just threw junk in it. Okay. People pollute the river in the natural in fact later as the hillbillies began to put inside toilets in their house they would run the septic pipe out to the river. And we begin to see human dung floating down the river. Toilet paper floating down the river. And my mom who only went to the fourth grade goes you guys can’t swim in the river anymore she might only went to the fourth grade but she wasn’t going to let her boys get in there and catch something amen you see God’s laws is just common sense.

▶ 45:31 Sometimes uneducated people have a lot of common sense now the authorities had to come in and tell these hillbillies that you can’t run your sewer pipe into the river you got to dig a septic tank you got to put in a septic tank and they started cleaning the river back up but then the the mines came in and they started. Uh surface mining and they would let the runoff and debris go into the river and this greenish clear crystal water. When I went down to Kentucky later in the 50s it was gray the fish were dead the crawdads were dead. The mining killed everything in that river now the authorities came back in again later and tried to clean it up but it’s still gray it wasn’t the river and my point is this.

What two laws began in Genesis?

▶ Watch this part (46:30)

Short answer: The law of death and the law of life; eat of any tree, but in the day you eat of the tree of knowledge you will die.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 46:30 When men go into that Bible. They start distorting and polluting that river of God so we’ve got to go back to Genesis and if God is the same he’s going to be the same in Genesis as he is later amen. So in Genesis God. Initiated two laws the law of death and the law of life he said to Adam and Eve you can eat of any tree in the garden including the tree of life go get it eat all you want but of the tree of knowledge and good and evil you can’t eat in fact if you eat that tree in the day you eat it. You will die is that what the Bible says. Well if you know that you know they didn’t die.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Genesis 2:16-17 (NKJV)

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

— Genesis 2:16-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:30 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Was God lying when Adam and Eve didn’t die?

▶ Watch this part (47:24)

Short answer: No; he says Satan tricked Eve and tempted Cain, and God had another law that someone else would die for those who sin.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 47:24 Is God a liar. I’m going to show you why he’s not a liar do you want to know why he’s not a liar. Because they didn’t lie, they did die and he said they were going to die hallelujah. Have we got your attention yes now. Second thing is Satan tricks Eve to disobey the two commandments she didn’t eat the tree of life and she ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and Satan deceived her and tricked her into doing that. Thirdly Satan tempts Cain. To sin. And kill Abel his brother. And Jesus when he spoke of Satan he said Satan was a murderer from the beginning and a liar from the beginning where did Jesus get that Satan lied to Eve Satan used Cain to murder Abel.

What was God’s first solution?

▶ Watch this part (48:26)

Short answer: The woman’s seed would crush Satan’s head; the singular seed is Christ, the plural seed His followers.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 48:26 Satan was the motivation behind that disobedience and their behavior. So what is God’s solution we have three problems yet. And what is God’s solution. We’re going to go to Genesis chapter 1 verses 14-24. God’s first solution is. He said to Satan. The woman’s seed is going to crush your head your authority your power. You know what it said that’s the first thing Jesus come he when he came to Adam and Eve he dealt with Satan and said. This woman her seed is going to crush your authority and your power.

▶ 49:23 All right now. How. Uh we got to understand this seed. In Galatians 3:16. Paul writes about Abraham. Saying that. God promised his seed singular. Was where the promise is made he said not to seeds plural. As many seeds. But one seed and that seed was Jesus Christ we got that. So there is a plural seed and there is a singular seed the singular seed is Christ the plural seed are the followers of Christ the good seed the children of God amen God all right.

Why did God slay the first animal?

▶ Watch this part (50:18)

Short answer: It took the place of Adam and Eve dying, a shadow of Christ dying for our sin; Satan got blindsided.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 50:18 So he told Satan that. Next God slew the first animal. This is what Satan didn’t know. That’s it. Satan got blindsided here God said in the day you eat of that tree you will what die. So God slew the first animal took the skins and covered Adam and Eve’s sin. And that animal. Took the place. Of Adam and Eve dying. Are you there. Hallelujah. See God didn’t lie and the day you eat you will die because he had another law.

Scripture (NKJV)

Hebrews 10:1-14 (NKJV)

For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ” Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

— Hebrews 10:1-14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 51:16 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

When did Jesus die?

▶ Watch this part (51:17)

Short answer: The Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world; when God speaks something it’s as good as done.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 51:17 That someone else would sacrifice their life. For those who sin. Wow. Now you know why God didn’t lie. He had another plan. Okay. So. The animal sacrifice was a shadow. Of Christ dying for our sin crushing Satan. The animals were never meant to take away sin they were a shadow a parable an example. Of Jesus would destroy Satan by himself. All right so in Revelation 13:6 we read the lamb of God that was slain before the foundation of the world when did Jesus die.

▶ 52:16 Did he die 2 000 years ago or did he die before the foundation of the world if you think with the secular mind you go well he died 2000 years ago. But when you think with the spiritual mind God’s whole plan before he made the heaven and earth was to come and die for his people to reconcile them back to God and when God speaks something it’s as good as what done. Hallelujah. The Jews and the Israelites and all the Old Testament people look forward to the messiah coming and dying we look back. To Christ’s coming and die. He’s the one that saves us all. Secondly in Ephesians 1:4 he chose us in him before the creation of the world God chose Adam and Eve Abraham king David Daniel.

Does Jesus still have a body?

▶ Watch this part (53:17)

Short answer: Yes; His fleshly body rose and is at the Father’s right hand, an immortal body with no blood in it.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 53:17 Paul Peter you and I before the foundation of the world. Before the foundation of the world he was going to bring out a people to himself. Satan didn’t know all this. And neither do many Christians. Jesus prayed and said father you love me before the creation of the world. Hallelujah. Before the creation Jesus was there the Bible says he’s after the Melchizedek priesthood. He had no beginning and he has no end he’s eternal. His fleshly body had a beginning. And his fleshly body died and rose and that fleshly body is still up in heaven at the right hand of the father.

▶ 54:17 That his fleshly body is an immortal body that did not decay it has no blood in it one of my Facebook people says well flesh and blood can’t enter the kingdom. So Jesus couldn’t. And I go well Jesus blood drained out on the cross that body he had had no blood in it amen. It’s an immortal body. Now. I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world Jesus said. What we got to understand is for thousands of years God had these things written in secrets and in mysteries. But when Christ came he opened up those secrets and mysteries to us if we seek him if we read his word study his word he we will understand these things.

How did God deal with Cain?

▶ Watch this part (55:14)

Short answer: He punished Cain but protected him from being killed; Cain never repented, while Adam and Eve accepted the sacrifice.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 55:14 And and people really need again in the church is that teaching as Paul said the whole counsel of God not the same old stuff over and over amen. Now so God slew the first animal for Eve’s sin the animal died in Adam and Eve’s place and Christ died in your and my place is that a good amen thank God I don’t have to die eternally in hell or while I’m here on earth. Out of my normal routine of dying every all of us have to die but I don’t have to die because of sin. Thirdly he punished and forgave Adam and Eve. Fourthly he punished Cain. He didn’t kill Cain that same.

▶ 56:09 Sacrifice. Protected Cain from being killed. Now Cain never repented never confessed his sin and never asked forgiveness and him and his seed were evil all the way to the flood. But Adam and Eve you don’t find any record of them disobeying God again they accepted the animal sacrifice in fact they started sacrificing Abel where did he get the animal sacrifice from God sacrificing the first animal and so they would sacrifice animal reminding them that Christ was going to come the seat of the woman and destroy Satan’s authority so Satan you have no authority over me back then didn’t have to wait for Christ to come and do it because God spoke it Satan’s power was what destroyed then.

Why does God allow evil?

▶ Watch this part (57:08)

Short answer: After the flood He gave mankind responsibility to judge and punish criminals, even by death, and we’re not doing it.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 57:08 Hallelujah. But after the flood. God gave mankind the responsibility to judge and to punish. Criminals even by death if necessary. So when people say if there’s a God whereas he allows all this evil. He told us after the flood that we have to judge these things and deal with them the criminals we deal with and we’re not doing it. How can you punish a criminal for doing something that you’re doing. Are you there that’s why the Bible says you’ve got to have righteous leaders just leaders leading in the fear of God. So. How did Christ crush Satan’s authority.

How did Christ crush Satan’s authority?

▶ Watch this part (58:05)

Short answer: He took part of flesh and blood so that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death; you can’t kill the spirit.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 58:05 What did he do to crush Satan’s authority destroy him. In Hebrews 2:14 as the children are partakers of flesh and blood that’s the seeds that’s us we are flesh and blood. He Christ the seed singular. Himself likewise took part of the same God came down and dwelt in a fleshly body born of a virgin no man’s seed birthed that he was not humanly conceived he was conceived by God himself. That was a supernatural body that wasn’t a human sacrifice on that cross that was a physical body that God was in that died on that cross you can’t kill the spirit.

▶ 58:59 See when you die your spirit lives on. God and Jesus lived on. When his body died and went into the grave and then he raised it back up the third day just as your body will be raised up I don’t care if you’re cremated or you drown in the ocean and the fish eat you or whatever he’s going to bring all of those dirt back together and give you a immortal body amen the kind of body that Jesus had. Now. He did this he came in a physical body that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death that is the Devil. Through death and when did he die. Before the foundation of the world.

▶ 59:52 When did we see the recorded deaths 2000 years ago they look forward to it happening we look back to it happening and that faith is what saves us. That brings us to Christ. Hallelujah. Now. So why did God slay the first animal already get that out of the bag for Adam and Eve’s sin. And that is Hebrews 10:1-14. The law having a shadow of good things to come that animal sacrifice that God’s. Sacrifice. Was a shadow of Christ coming to die for our sins amen. So that’s why he slew the first animal and the Jews followed that shadow law for decades.

Why was Jerusalem destroyed?

▶ Watch this part (1:00:53)

Short answer: After one sacrifice for sins forever, the Jews wouldn’t give up the shadow laws, so the Roman army destroyed the temple.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:00:53 And he says. The sacrifices of animals can never take away sin and that’s what Isaiah said in Isaiah chapter 1 can never take away sin. But what they pointed to could hallelujah. But this man Christ. After he offered one sacrifice for sins forever set down at the right hand of God. One sacrifice animal sacrifice stopped the holidays stopped uh you know the incense and all those shadow laws stopped. When Christ came to this earth. And the Jews wouldn’t give them up so God had the Roman empire to come in the army of the Roman empire came in and totally destroyed Jerusalem.

What did Christ’s death buy?

▶ Watch this part (1:01:50)

Short answer: You were bought with a price from sin, Satan and death; Christ took the shame and blame, so no penance, just embrace Him.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:01:50 And the temple because the Jews worshiped them. And wouldn’t stop. After God fulfilled them they wouldn’t stop sacrificing wouldn’t stop. Having meetings in that temple and going through all these shadow laws. In First Corinthians 6:20. You are bought with a price from the slavery of sin you are bought with a price from the slavery of Satan and you are bought with a price. From death. Christ death bought you. You’re his slave you’re his servant now and he takes good care of his people he’s not a harsh slave master he’s a good one amen.

▶ 1:02:43 Hallelujah. And Christ died in your place. Don’t you get down on yourself Christ took the beating took the shame took the blame so you don’t have to be ashamed you don’t have to blame yourself you don’t have to walk with guilt he took your guilt he took everything and he took the pain of your sin so you don’t have to do penance you don’t have to do anything but embrace Jesus Christ. And become his slave. The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death that’s the law we’re not under we’re not under the law of sin and death anymore we’re not under the shadow laws of sacrifice on animals and burning in sins and all those things we are under the spiritual laws of Christ and the civil laws of Christ we’re free from that law of sin and death you do not have to die.

Is knowing Christ better than the conscience?

▶ Watch this part (1:03:51)

Short answer: Yes; repentance is necessary, but knowing Christ who lives in you is much more beneficial and definite.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:03:51 So as the musicians come. Repentance is necessary turning from your sin. Stop doing wrong and do what’s right. For eternal life. And they that never heard of Christ can still have eternal life by following their conscience and their right thinking. But coming to Christ. And knowing Christ. Who died in your place was God’s plan for eternal life before he even created the world.

▶ 1:04:51 Well I asked the musicians to come and they disappeared I thought the rapture had taken place and I got left behind. See that was God’s plan from the beginning before he created the earth. You were his plan. So I submit to you this morning. Coming to and knowing Christ is much more beneficial. And much more definite. Than the mind and the conscience. For eternal life. You could know him and honestly when I came to Christ and I realized he’s real and I knew him I mean he really. He’s real I knew him.

Can someone who hears the gospel reject it?

▶ Watch this part (1:05:43)

Short answer: Yes, but they are without excuse; people reject Him because they don’t want their deeds exposed.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:05:43 My first question is why didn’t I hear this before that you could know God you could know Christ it isn’t just about getting saved and trying to live right he comes and lives in you he embraces you he he lives inside of you he takes the reins in your life. He convicts you he convinces you he encourages you he does all these things he’s real. And folks that is much more beneficial. Than me trying to live rightly by my conscience and by my good thinking. Wouldn’t you say amen and for those of you who want to reject Christ. Once you hear the message of Christ. You are without excuse even if you don’t understand it because the.

▶ 1:06:38 Gospel is so alive. That when you hear it there’s something that pricks your heart you can reject it. But it’s real it pricks your heart it stirs you you can shut it off and he says the reason people reject me Jesus said is because they don’t want their deeds exposed. You see. They’re Gentiles living in sin and they don’t want to turn from sin so they reject Christ Gentiles that aren’t living in sin and they’re following what’s right when they hear of Christ they don’t have any problem with it. Amen. So this morning. That is your answer to the few there be that find it in Matthew.

Why is heaven’s multitude so large?

▶ Watch this part (1:07:34)

Short answer: He reasons billions never heard but followed God’s law by conscience, so a just God brings a multitude that can’t be numbered.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:07:34 On this earth. There’s only a few that see Jesus said this is eternal life that you may know the only true God and Jesus Christ his son. Very few Christians know God personally and his son Jesus Christ. But when you get to heaven there’s going to be a multitude up there. And and let me share this these mathematical facts with you. Why in Revelations is a multitude that can’t be numbered. We have the recorded. Genealogy of Israel from Abraham to when they came out of Egypt and how many people they multiplied into over two million.

▶ 1:08:27 Okay that’s just one seed Abraham all the way down to coming out of Egypt two million people you got thousands a thousand of Abraham’s. Remember they were spread all over the earth at the tower of Babel let’s say you got a thousand abrahams in 400 years you got 2 billion people. 2 billion people that never heard because the Jews never took the message to the world like God asked them to. Two billion people that never heard. But they followed God’s law from their conscience. And their right thinking and in Revelation they will be there a multitude that can’t be numbered do we have a just God hallelujah don’t you appreciate a just God don’t you appreciate if God will save those Gentiles and never heard of him will he be patient with you and keep saving you did doesn’t the Bible says that he will finish the good work he began in you don’t you give up on yourself.

Lord Jesus we come before you this morning God Lord we pray. God Lord we would not settle for Lord the things of this life.
