What the Last Days is All About Part 2: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
The kings of the north and south were fulfilled in history, then Rome ruled. The abomination of desolation came, but the people who know their God shall be strong. Daniel’s people are everyone written in the book—the fruit-bearing people who received the kingdom.
Who are the kings of north and south?
Short answer: Historical kings—marriage alliances and murders fulfilled in 240 BC.
▶ 0:00 Here we have the king of the south, Tommy, the king of the north. These guys are united. And the king’s daughter, this is Tommy number two. Veroni, his daughter was given to the king of the north. Okay? So they would unify and not war with each other. But it didn’t work. Baroni got killed and her son got killed. By the northern government. And so, and it says, “But it won’t stand out of her roots.” Now, what’s our roots? Our family, right? Okay. Out of her roots, shall one stand up with an army and defeat the king of the north and carry captives into Egypt with vessels of gold and silver.
▶ 0:51 And this happened in 240 BC. Berenice’s brother got mad because they killed his sister and her child and he brought an army and he conquered the king of the north just like the messenger said before it happened. You can read this in history. Are you with me exactly how it said? So the southern kingdom is named. It’s not a mystery. What’s the southern kingdom? What’s the southern kingdom? Say it. Egypt. You don’t have to get into spiritual. Oh Lord, who’s the spirit? Who’s the It’s Egypt, dummy. It says it right here. Oh, but it’s got to be in the last days. We don’t know. No, it’s Egypt. Okay, everybody understand that? Verse 10.
▶ 1:42 The king of the south shall fight with and defeat the multitudes of the king of the north. That happened again in 217 BC. That happened just like the messenger said it would. Verse 12, the north king defeats the south king again. Antiochus III, including Israel. Now the northern king has Israel and they never let Israel go back. Even after e the southern kingdom got their nation back, Palestine never went back to the southern kingdom. It stayed in the northern kingdom just like the messenger said. Are you there folks? This is history. Now, if you were a Jew living in Daniel’s time, you wouldn’t have figured this out. But when that Greek kingdom come to power, you go, “Wow, this is what Daniel said.” So when Alexander came into Palestine conquering the world, the priests went out and met him and said, “You’re the one that Daniel talked about.” And because they admitted that this was scriptural, Alexander didn’t destroy Jerusalem because they knew the scriptures.
▶ 3:01 Are you there? Or did you know this stuff? The northern king defeats the southern king including Israel. Now in 189 BC Salucus fell to Rome. This green empire is now under Roman authority. Just Rome didn’t take over the whole. They just beat him and they took a certain part of it and slowly took the rest. All right. So now we have this little kingdom up here and the Romans and Tommy. All right. In 149 BC, Cassander fell to Rome. Now there only one Greek kingdom left and that’s Egypt. Just like the messenger said in 63 BC Israel as I said before ma was made a province of Rome.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 11:5-6 (NKJV)
“Also the king of the South shall become strong, as well as one of his princes; and he shall gain power over him and have dominion. His dominion shall be a great dominion. And at the end of some years they shall join forces, for the daughter of the king of the South shall go to the king of the North to make an agreement; but she shall not retain the power of her authority, and neither he nor his authority shall stand; but she shall be given up, with those who brought her, and with him who begot her, and with him who strengthened her in those times.
— Daniel 11:5-6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:00When did Rome take over?
Short answer: Rome ruled Israel and conquered Egypt in 48 BC—God can speak of one thing in the middle of another.
▶ 4:04 Now Rome is the governor and dictator of Israel. In 48 BC Rome conquers Egypt. Remember Mark Anthony and that Cleopatra story and all that. Yeah. Bible. Totally Bible. All right. Now all four Greek kingdoms are under Rome. Who is the fourth kingdom to come? Do you get it? Do you get it? Who has the little horn speaking great things against God, against the scriptures, against the King of Kings, going to take away the daily sacrifice, going to fulfill the abomination of desolation? This is the empire. Is that good? And you can read this. It’s It’s very good a very good uh history.
▶ 4:57 Now things get a little tricky. That part was easy. Now it gets tricky. And to prepare you for the trickiness, I want to remind you, as I did before, Isaiah prophesies and talks about King Ahaz, a king of Judah, talking all about him, how bad he was, and everything else. And boom, out of nowhere, he says, “The Lord shall give a sign. A virgin shall conceive and bear a son and call his name Emanuel.” Then goes back into talking about Ahaz. Just boom. Are you with me? Had nothing to do with Ahaz, but of prophecy about the end time and Jesus Christ. Now, another one.
▶ 5:48 I could give you a lot of them. Hosea 11, he’s talking about Israel. And then out of nowhere, he says, “I’ve called my son out of Israel.” And literally, it took me years to figure this out as a young Christian. Every time I read that, I thought he was talking about Israel coming out of Egypt from the land of bondage and going into Canaan land. Israel was his son until finally the Holy Ghost goes, “Duh.” The New Testament tells you it’s Jesus. And Jesus was taken into Egypt just to fulfill this scripture, which is one little statement in the midst of nothing like it. Just one little statement. Boom. I will call my son out of it. Then he goes back to talking about something else. But see, if you understand that, then I can help you get through this trickiness. Are you with me?
▶ 6:39 Do you understand that God can in the middle of something talk about something else? And he gives us key words. The key word was his son. And I totally missed it for a couple of years. I tell you, I I didn’t get that. Matthew 2:15 says, “It might be fulfilled. Spoken by the prophet, out of Egypt, I’ve called my son.” Now, the de Jewish teachers, as I said here, understood none of this in detail. They didn’t get it until Jesus came and told them. Now, how many of you know in these last days, we’re not going to stand understand everything in detail. But when it happens and the Holy Ghost starts opening up, we’re going to get it because we’re on his side. Can I hear an amen? So, I don’t have to conjure up things now. I can relax and God will. The thing I need to know is how I should behave in my generation.
▶ 7:34 Now, out of nowhere, the messenger says, “The end shall be at the time appointed.” Here, he’s talking about the kingdoms of the north and the kingdom of the south. And then pops in this statement. The end, the last days shall be at the time appointed. And this is why I say he isn’t coming in a minute. There is a what? Time appointed. And the church has got to be victorious. And the transgressors have got to come to fullness before it’s going to happen the first time or the second time. Are you with me? Do you understand that? Now there’s a transition. He is talking about the end time. And then he says, “At the time appointed, the king of the north shall return and come against the king of the south.” I showed you how the king of the north slowly possessed all the other kingdoms and finally the kingdom of the south.
▶ 8:42 All right, the Roman Empire. But he’s talking about the end time here. The first end time. Do you understand that? The first end time was when Jesus came. Do you have that? In the last days, I will pour out my spirit on all. Jesus came in the beginning of the last days. And we are still in those last days. Hallelujah. Now his heart will be against the holy covenant, and he’ll have intelligence with them that forsake it. His army shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and take away the daily sacrifice.
What is the abomination?
Short answer: Armies set up the abomination that makes desolate; the king exalts himself.
▶ 9:37 And these armies shall apply the abomination that makes desolate Verse 36, he will speak against the God of gods. That’s what the little horn does, right? We speak against the God of gods. Who’s the God of gods? Jesus. So, we got the opposers of Jesus in the Bible again in the last days. Now look at this. Get this in your corranial vacuum. Anakas IV in 168 BC came against Israel after the Romans turned them back from Egypt and his army defiled the temple.
▶ 10:31 They went in and they stopped the daily sacrifices from being offered. They built a pagan altar over the over the temple altar and put the image of Zeus on it and offered pigs to Zeus. The Sabbath and the feast days were profane. They weren’t allowed to keep them and they kept them with a heathen u flavor. No circumcision was allowed. The Jews were not allowed to circumcise their children. And if they did, it was the penalty of death. Any of these violated, you were killed. So many in Israel stood firm to these shadow laws. Isaiah chapter 1 says, “I don’t want your sacrifices. I don’t want your feast days and your Sabbaths. I want you to do right.”. Why?
▶ 11:23 They were all shadow laws. And the Jews literally died protecting their shadow laws. 80,000 died. 80 more thousand were put into slavery. Then the Roman generals Pompei in 63 BC desecrated the temple. Caressus in 54 BC desecrated the temple and took the golden rod out. And then Titus in 70 AD destroyed Jerusalem and the temple and stopped the sacrifices forever. They tried it again about 134 AD. Didn’t last long. Rome came in and stopped it and it stopped. Why? Because God didn’t mean for us to do animal sacrifices and keep feast days and all that. He wants us to keep Bible morality. Now, this is the irony of it all.
▶ 12:16 The Jews gave their life for the shadow laws. And look what they were doing. I showed you before that the Jews had been worshiping idols all these years. In Jeremiah, they were offering to the queen of heaven. While Daniel was around in Amos, it was the God of Molech. All the time they came out of Israel unto captivity. They had these idols. My people have committed adultery with their idols and caused their sons to pass through the fire to devour them. Molech, you give your child, you cook them, you roast them, you give them to the fire, you kill children. Israel was doing this.
▶ 13:10 Ezekiel was the prophet during the captivity. They have defiled my sanctuary in the same day and have profaneed my Sabbath. Israel profaneed the Sabbath days. Israel profaneed the the temple. But God forbid these Romans come in and do it. When they had slain their children to idols, they came the same day into my sanctuary and act like they’re my believers. Is that going on in America? Yeah. We believe in Jesus. We’ve been baptized. And yet we we kill the un unborn baby. We agree with same-sex marriages and a homosexual lifestyle and all this garbage. We agree with it. Then we come into God’s house. And when they take away our tax exemption and they they they attack us, then we stand up like we’re some wholly righteous people when we have violated God’s word in the first place.
▶ 14:17 Could that be true? But God forbid that outsiders say anything. It’s oh boy, but we pollute it. That’s the irony of this. The Jews had already they already brought in an altar from a foreign nation in the book of Kings and offered sacrifices on it. They’ve already done these polluted things. But God forbid that anyone violates these shadow laws. Now verse 32. Now we’re talking about the end days, right? Watch this. Remember I told you it’s going to be about Jesus, going to be about the wicked, and it’s going to be about a strong people. Look at this. Such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 11:31 (NKJV)
And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.
— Daniel 11:31 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:37Daniel 11:36 (NKJV)
“Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done.
— Daniel 11:36 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:37Who will be strong?
Short answer: The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits—understand scripture first.
▶ 15:10 But the people that know their God shall be what? Strong. When? In the last days. People that know their God are a strong people. They don’t give in to immorality. And they do exploits. Exploits is added for your understanding. But exploits is not in the Bible. The word do is. And that word do means to act with effect, act with strength. That’s us folks. We are to put actions behind the word. We are to know our God. And in case you don’t know it, the definition of eternal life is given in the Bible. And it’s not just live forever. This is life eternal that they might know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
▶ 16:08 That’s the definition of eternal life. Do you know him? Do you know Jesus? Because if you do, you’re going to be strong, man. Ain’t nobody going to move you from the righteous word of God. See, we don’t have to be divided over how we’re baptized. We don’t have to be divided over whether you believe in tongues or not believe in tongues. Those are not divisional doctrines. They are wise doctrines. If you embrace them, they’re going to make you wise. They’re going to make you more powerful. The laws that are violated in first Corinthians is idolatry. We don’t have anything to do with them. Sexual immorality, drunkenness, and debauchery. And those things, those five things are what we are supposed to back off from. Are you with me?
▶ 17:04 But in America, we divide over the belief in the second coming. You don’t believe the way I believe. I can’t have anything to do with you. That’s not a divisional doctrine cuz nobody knows. They can give all the information that they want, but the bottom line is hell no. We do know that Jesus and his people are powerful in the last days, and the wicked are coming to the fullness of their sin. They that understand among the people shall instruct many. Did the disciples have their understanding open to understand the scriptures by Jesus in Luke 24? Did they? Yes, he opened their understanding. Did they go out and turn the known world upside down? Absolutely. Are we to do that? Yes.
▶ 17:58 But we got to understand the scriptures before we can act on them. Yet they will fall by the sword, the the flame, captivity, and by spoil many days. Were the apostles persecuted? Did all but one get martyed? Yes. You think people are going to like you when you go out there and preach Bible morality? No, they’re not. You can preach the second coming all you want. It’s not going to do anything. But when you touch their heart with Bible morality, they’re going to dislike you or they’re going to repent and change. And I don’t care if you’re a Catholic, Protestant, or a Jew. That’s the way it works. To try and purge them and make them white even to the time of the end.
▶ 18:51 Now, what time of the end is he talking about? The se the end of the end. The second ending, the first ending came when Jesus came. The second ending comes when he comes the second time. And the period in between is still the last days. Do you got it? We are in the last days. Apostle Paul was in the last days. Plural days. It’s been over 2,000 years. It may be another thousand years. We don’t know. But we can be a wise and understanding people and be strong and have an impact on the earth. Hallelujah. Because it is yet for a time appointed.
▶ 19:44 You see that second ending is yet to come. The first one has come, but the second one is yet to come at the time of the end. Now, it’s the first ending. Now, he jumps back to the Greek kingdoms. At the time of the end, the first last days shall the king of the south, Tommy, push against Egypt, push against the king of the north, but be defeated. And that’s exactly what happened. Rome took over Egypt, setting the stage for Jesus, the abomination of desolation, and all this stuff to happen. Amen. Now the stage is set for Jesus to come.
▶ 20:38 Now we have the same stuff. They that oppose Bible morality in our generation. We should have strong Christians in our generation. Now, here’s proof that it has nothing to do with the four Greek kingdoms, the Roman Empire, Egypt, Israel, or some kingdom to come. You know, they had this European uh united back in the 70s as a sign of the end time. I I just I want to show you it has nothing to do with that nonsense. It has to do with what the messenger said.
▶ 21:32 Now, watch this. We’re going to get a preview of chapter 12 here. Chapter 12 is easy. It’s another kindergarten, man. It’s Anybody can understand chapter 12. Everybody’s going, “Wow, that’d be nice.” At that time. At what time? The appointed time. The time of the end that he just got through talking about. You see that second ending, Michael shall stand up, the great prince, which stands for the children of your people. Who’s your here? Daniel. Daniel’s people. Now, we’re going to get a Bible definition of Daniel’s people. Remember, I told you there’s a Bible definition of Daniel’s. Now, you’re going to get it. This is Daniel’s people.
▶ 22:24 Are you ready for this? You just thought it he was a Jew. No, he was one of those strong believers. He was one of those strong Jesus people in his generation. There shall be a time of trouble. Are we in trouble in America? We are. Such as never was since there was a nation even to this time. Do we want it to get that bad? No, we don’t want it to get that bad. Let’s do something about it. Now, here it is. Are you ready for the definition? At that time, what time? The appointed time, the time of the end, the second ending. Your people, Daniel’s people shall be delivered.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 11:32-33 (NKJV)
Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering.
— Daniel 11:32-33 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:10Who are Daniel’s people?
Short answer: Everyone written in the book—the kingdom given to a people bringing forth fruit.
▶ 23:16 Who are Daniel’s people? Everyone written in the book. OO. NOW, I know you saw that before. Right? You know, it wasn’t just the Jew. It was everyone that was written in the book. What kind of a believer was Daniel? Was he moral? Did he have great character? Absolutely. Did he pray when the law said don’t pray? Yes. Did he bow to that idol when they said bow? No. Daniel would not even violate a shadow law. He told him, “You give us food to eat that isn’t offered to idols and all that stuff and you prove us and if God doesn’t come and make us healthy and keep us healthy, then we will eat.” I mean, he knew it was a shadow law, but he wanted to keep the shadow law.
▶ 24:22 That’s the kind of character Daniel had. Amen. And he was written in the book. All right? Many that sleep in the dust of the earth, some to everlasting life, and t some to shame and everlasting content. Now, do you see two resurrections there or do you see one resurrection of two people? One resurrection of two people. That’s the last days. And we’ve got to live like we’re people written in the book. How do you get your name written in the book? Are you ready for this? You sure you want to hear this? Exodus 32:33.
▶ 25:16 Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. Well, if sinning, violating Bible morality gets me blotted out, what gets me blotted in? Repenting and not sinning. Yeah, you got a smart congregation. See, Jesus said, “Rejoice because your name is written in the book of life.” You see, and folks, what Daniel is trying to tell us, what the messenger of Daniel is trying to tell us that the last days started when Jesus came and he dealt with the Jews and he punished them and brought them to desolation for their sin. The Bible says that the kingdom was taken from the Jews.
▶ 26:07 Jesus said this, “The kingdom was taken from the Jews and given to a people that brought forth the fruits of the kingdom.” That’s you. But if we’re not bringing forth the fruits of the kingdom, we don’t have the kingdom and we don’t have our name written in this book of life. You say, “Well, that’s impossible. I sin.” Yes, but you repent of life. You keep turning keeps you written in the book. You don’t say, “I don’t see nothing wrong with same-sex marriage.” You say, “It’s wrong. I voted democratic. I voted wrong. God, forgive me. Repentance is a is a big key.” Do you see all this, church?
▶ 27:00 It’s very plain. Now if Israel was corrected and brought to desolation for being religious people and not keeping Bible morality, will the same God that is the same yesterday, today and forever, not a respector of person, discipline his people that have been grafted into the vine. I I mean we have been planted into the vine. The Jews can be grafted back in. Can we be cut off like the Jew was cut off for their sin? That’s Paul’s argument. If the Jews were cut off for their sins, their immorality, he says it’s possible that we can be cut off for our immorality. And if that’s so, we can also what? Get grafted back in by repenting and turning from our immorality. Hallelujah.
▶ 27:54 Amen. That’s that simple college course. That’s it. The end time is about Jesus, a strong people that follow him and the wicked who are always with us speaking against Jesus, the Bible, and attacking Christians who try to live it. And that’s the condition we’re in in America. And folks, we need to rise up and be that strong people and speak up like Daniel and stand up like Daniel. In his generation, he was second in government rulership of a pagan nation and didn’t violate God’s word and didn’t violate the laws of the land. Now, that takes some tremendous wisdom and we can too.
