Scripture in this part
Daniel 12:3 (NKJV)
Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
— Daniel 12:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:00 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is prayed before the message?
Short answer: That Christians throughout the country would not give up but keep shining the light of Jesus.
▶ 32:56 God we pray that not only in this room but Lord throughout our country people would not give up Christians would not give up the Lord that they would let their light shine before men and turn people to righteousness God Lord like we learn in Daniel chapter 12 verse 3 Lord that we become stars shining forever and ever forevermore God Lord Jesus I pray that you raise up soldiers throughout our country and throughout the world God who hear that call who hear that calling in their life to become a star for God Lord it says that they turn many to righteousness Jesus raise up your people God raise up your people to grow Lord change them transform them into those into those stars God Jesus please Lord the world is in awe at your creation in the in the heavens and the stars in the sky God make your people like those things Jesus please we call on you this morning God and we’re reminding Jesus to grow and come stars for you Jesus we thank you and everyone said amen.
What did Jesus not say?
Short answer: He did not say come to a temple or a house; the natural temple would be torn down.
▶ 34:12 Amen I’d like to invite Pastor Kincer up and we want to encourage you and remind you don’t give up keep shining the light of Jesus Christ. If you’re not shining and just reflecting like the moon you can grow to a place where you are shining and producing the light like the stars do amen. Okay this morning we’re going to take a look at what Jesus did not say. Jesus did not say. Come to a temple or come to a house. But he did say. That natural temple that he has the Jews to build. Will be destroyed torn down. Nothing left standing.
What did Jesus say about His house?
Short answer: It is a house of prayer for all nations; where two or three gather in His name He is in the midst; the kingdom is within you.
▶ 35:06 Jesus did say my house is a house of prayer. You’ve made it a den of thieves. And my house is a house of prayer for all people all nations. You’re not to merchandise my house. And the thing that takes place in my house is prayer. Jesus also said where two or three are gathered together in my name. Jesus Christ the Lord. The son of the living God. I am in the midst. You come together. The church the temple. The house of God is two or more people coming together.
Scripture in this part
Mark 11:17 (NKJV)
Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
— Mark 11:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 35:06 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
— Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 35:06 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Luke 17:21 (NKJV)
nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
— Luke 17:21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:01 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Can a building change you?
Short answer: No—fancy buildings, windows and rituals give a feeling of sacredness, but nothing changes inside; the temple was a shadow of the heavenly.
▶ 36:02 In his name he shows up and he verifies it when he says. In Luke 17:21 the kingdom of God is within you. Now Jesus is the king of the kingdom of God so if the kingdom of God is within us. Then Jesus is in us and when we come together he is the I am in the midst could that be an amen. We get hung up on buildings and churches we build fancy buildings and painted glass windows and all this stuff and we have uh methods and rituals and ceremonies that gives us a feeling of sacredness a sacred place you feel like you you’re in a sacred place but nothing is happening to the inside of you nothing is changing you the building can’t change you God having the Jews to build a temple was never meant.
What is the street corner with four churches?
Short answer: Baptists, Catholics, Assemblies of God and independents each have their mortar, method and message; Jesus said come to none of these religions.
▶ 37:11 For them to find God in that temple it was a shadow of the good things to come the heavenly temple that is in heaven. That’s what Jesus did say he did not say come to a temple or come to a house and we need a place to meet we need whether it’s a house or whether it’s a synagogue or some kind of building we need a place to meet to get us out from the uh. Climate. But that’s not the emphasis it’s just a place. Jesus. Is the key. You’ll see on your screen a street corner with four churches on each corner. Okay.
▶ 38:05 You got the Baptist. And these religions are just mortar. For their building a method. That they think is the only one that works and a message. They have the mortar the building they have the method and they have a message the message of the Baptist is once saved always saved you’re eternally secure. Say by grace through faith that is it nothing else grace alone that’s their message. That makes them different from the Catholics and they’re always attacking the Catholics the Catholics are saying mary is another mediator and you can pray to the saints that are dead and gone and and get answers from them and so that’s their method and they have a uh our message and they have a method of robes and all these uh 12 paces of this cross and all this stuff.
▶ 39:01 And then you’ve got the assembly God their messages get filled with the Holy Ghost speak in tongues. All right then you’ve got the independence sin come out from all these and come to us these are false churches these are the churches of the refrigerator come to us we have the message we have the method. And Jesus did not say to come into the Jewish religion the catholic religion the protestant religion the Hindu religion or the Muslim religion or any other religion. He never said that. He didn’t say come to the religious leaders. And that’s exactly what American Christians are doing they’re going to some church building that has mortar with some message that they’ve connived up with some method that’s particular to them and everybody feels comfortable.
What did Jesus say instead?
Short answer: Come to the light, so your deeds—behavior, speech, walk—may be exposed as done in God.
▶ 39:58 They feel like they’re in a sacred place so we we’ve we’ve done something for God here. But what Jesus did say is come to the light. That’s what he said come to the light and why did he say come to the light. So that your deeds may be exposed. And clearly seen that they have been done in God come to the light not a building not a religion not a leader come to the light. Deeds. Is your behavior. Your speech. Your walk. Your actions.
What is the condemnation?
Short answer: Not unbelief alone but hating the light and refusing to come to it; the Pharisees were believers yet would not come.
▶ 40:54 You think they’re of God. But if you want to know if they’re God you got to come to the light. And let your deeds be oh your brother and sister they’ll pat you on the back and say how good you are come to the light and see what happens. Come to the light not to a building not to some religion come to the light he goes on to say. In John 3:18-21. He that believes. Not on me is condemned. Okay you’re you’re going to be punished you’re condemned. All right. And then he says this is the condemnation. Most people read this all wrong.
▶ 41:49 He defines the condemnation here and the condemnation is. They hate me. They hate the light. They won’t come to the light they despise the light they dislike the light because the light’s going to expose them. So they hate the light they won’t come to the light because their deeds their behavior their talk their conduct is harmful. It is harmful it’s harmful to them it’s harmful to others. He didn’t say the condemnation was because they didn’t believe do you get that church do you guys get that on the internet Jesus didn’t say the condemnation was because they didn’t believe.
▶ 42:46 He said it was because they disliked the light and wouldn’t come to the light that their behavior their life actions their speech would be exposed whether it’s of God or not. That’s why they’re condemned. Because a lot of believers. Don’t come to the light the Pharisees the Sadducees the scribes they were believers. But did they come to the light no Jesus said they made two times more the child of hell than they themselves were but they were believers. They had faith in God so the condemnation. Is not because they didn’t believe it’s because they wouldn’t come to the light. And let their behavior their conduct their speech be exposed by the light.
Scripture in this part
John 3:18-21 (NKJV)
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
— John 3:18-21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 40:54 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does “come to Me” invite?
Short answer: Learn of Me, from Me—not church bylaws or a Christian-store book; His yoke is easy.
▶ 43:43 Hallelujah. Jesus said come to me in Matthew 11:28 come to me. All ye that labor in heaven laden he invites everybody to come to him. And I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. And learn of me learning me from me. Learning me from me. Not your church’s bylaws and articles of faith not some book in the Christian store come to me and learn of me from me how many know that makes sense. Hallelujah. He said my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
▶ 44:36 The the word laden and heavy laden burden and heavy laden is the same words God used when they he exposed the scribes and the Pharisees and them of putting religious rituals religious ceremonies religious man-made doctrines upon the people burdened them down with things they could not carry out. And today. There is a multitude of Christians in America that are burdened down with religious worthless rituals and ceremony they’re wanting to touch Christ and all many churches offer them is their doctrine of faith and a method that they have down pat that they do every meeting. And they don’t bring people to the light to learn from the light Jesus Christ.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
— Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 43:43 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What can ministers do?
Short answer: Only lead you to Christ; they are subcontracted. Don’t blame pastors—it’s your job to come to Him.
▶ 45:32 And they go back the same way they came. From the meeting could that be an amen that is an amen. Now Jesus is very clear here. Learn of me. Come to me and learn of me from me don’t you forget that statement. Only Jesus can open up the scriptures to you only he can come and touch your life and empower you and change you into another man and make you a new creature only him pastors and evangelists and teachers and all that are just uh subcontracted. Ministers. Okay they can’t do anything for you but lead you to Christ that’s all they can do and a lot of them can’t even do that.
Why do people avoid meeting God?
Short answer: Jesus is the light; when He shows up we see our flaws. His words will judge in the last day.
▶ 46:26 And don’t be blaming the pastors on everything it’s your job to get with the program. Hallelujah it’s your job to come to him. Did you go blaming every minister around blame yourself you can come to church and push in you can press in. Hallelujah. Now. In John 9:5 Jesus makes it very plain I am the light. That’s it come to the light I am the light I am the exposer. I am the one that will show you whether you’re doing it like I want you to or not and that’s why we don’t want to meet with Jesus we don’t want to meet with God. Because God is light. And when he shows up we see our flaws.
▶ 47:22 Hallelujah. In John 12:46. Jesus said I have come as a light unto the world. And I didn’t come into the world to judge the world. That’s why you’re still alive. He said. My words that I have spoken. If you reject me. I’m not going to judge you but the words I have spoken. They will judge you in that last day in the end they my words that I spoke the word of God is very important and people that say we’re not under law we’re under grace don’t understand what Paul was saying we are under God’s law we are under his word and we’re going to be judged by that law and judged by that word.
Scripture in this part
John 9:5 (NKJV)
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
— John 9:5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:26 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 12:46-48 (NKJV)
I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
— John 12:46-48 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 47:22 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Is being exposed worth it?
Short answer: Yes—He knows how to operate on us; once you touch Him you want to keep coming back.
▶ 48:21 Amen. He says that his people will be judged by his truth and his word is what truth. Hallelujah but we don’t want to come to him we don’t want to be exposed we want to be this we want to be told we’re good where we’re at we’re good to go. But there’s such. A reward in touching him ah. He knows how to put the anesthetic and operate us operate on us. His love. His kindness just his person is so when we touch him we want to touch him again we want even though we don’t like to be exposed we like him.
▶ 49:13 And that keeps bringing us back once you touch him. You’ll want to keep coming back. And it’s okay for him to expose you. He knows how to do it he knows how to operate on you your friends don’t. Your brother and sisters in Christ don’t Christ does. The question the Holy Spirit is asking all of us. Will you accept his invitation today to come to him. Will you choose to come to him. Get past the religion get past the building. Get past the leader. And come to him and touch him.
What happens if you don’t come to Jesus?
Short answer: You will follow some religion, leader or message instead.
▶ 50:08 If you don’t come to Jesus I can guarantee you. You’re going to go to someone and follow them. You’re going to go to some religion and follow the religion or a religious leader or a motivational leader out in the world or something you’re going to follow some message and some mortar and some method and some person some man if you don’t come and find him. And follow Jesus Christ. And that’s a good place for an amen hallelujah. Now. How do I come to Jesus the light. Psalms 100 tells us. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands everybody make a joyful noise can you say joyfully Jesus is Lord Jesus is Lord yes you see.
How do we come in His way?
Short answer: Serve the Lord with gladness; enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
▶ 51:15 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands serve the Lord serve the Lord with gladness can you smile. Hallelujah everybody comes to God with this. False humble face all the time I mean God’s looking at all these frowns all the time. Come with gladness. Amen. Enter his gates with thanksgiving enter its courts with praise. Enter into his presence with singing. Thanksgiving. And bless his name. Not mary. Not your church leader. Not the saints of old bless the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who was God in the flesh bless him speak good things of him.
▶ 52:12 That’s how you come in he invites you in and he wants you to come in his way. We want him to come to us our way and even though it doesn’t work we believe we met with God these people that I talk to on Facebook all the time they’re so into faith. They believe they have things because they believe they have them. I it’s the craziest mentality I have ever heard I can believe I own a rolls royce silver shadow all I want but if I don’t own one I don’t have it. Your faith cannot be in your faith. You need to possess the promises of God and you’ve got to come his way if you decide to come his way you’re going to make some good progress.
Scripture in this part
Psalm 100:1-4 (NKJV)
Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
— Psalm 100:1-4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 51:15 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What else is required?
Short answer: Read and study to be approved; salvation was bought with a price, we are under a new Master.
▶ 53:09 Seek you out of the book of the law and read. You’ve got to read that Bible and you got to read for purpose not to say I read it through in a year you got to read you got to understand what you’re reading you’ve got to ask God what he’s saying to you it’s food and you got to study. To show that you are. Approved of God. Rightly dividing the word of truth you’ve got to put time into that word. And of course a lot of Christians they’ve not of works we can’t work our way in we can’t work our way work work this is the Devil that’s the Devil’s message I don’t have to do nothing yes you do you got to praise him you got to seek him.
▶ 54:02 You got to give him thanksgiving you got to study the word you got to read the word. He’s given you that responsibility you have been bought with a price all this nonsense about salvation is free it wasn’t free at all. And the people think that you know they don’t have to do nothing salvation is free Jesus bought us with a price we’re not we’re on we’re under a new master Jesus that brought us out from under the old master Satan. And we obeyed Satan when we were in his kingdom now we obey Christ our new bastard and the kingdom of God amen. Hallelujah are you glad you came to church this morning.
Scripture in this part
2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
— 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 53:09 (quoted; reference not named in the message)1 Corinthians 6:20 (NKJV)
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
— 1 Corinthians 6:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 54:02Why humble yourself?
Short answer: Because He asked; seek My face—His presence—with all your heart.
▶ 54:56 You can tell I’m getting better. I was sick last Sunday. He said humble yourself. My God people are afraid to humble themselves God says lift your hands oh that’s not me that’s not me well that’s why he said it he wants you to humble yourself. He wants you to do it because he asked you to do it whether you want to do it or not. Sing unto God oh no no no I can’t sing and clap your hands oh that’s not me. Kneel down oh no no no that’s stupid stuff. Humble yourself. Do it his way. If my people will humble themself and pray my house should be what a house of prayer say a house of prayer humble yourself and pray pray is talking to God don’t get don’t get deep into this you know intercessory and supplication and all this stuff the book’s right about just go talk to God like you talk to anybody else good grief.
▶ 56:10 We make things so complicated in the church world. Humble themselves and pray and seek my faith when he uses the word faith in the Bible concerning God it’s always his presence seek my presence come unto me learn of me from me seek me and you will find me when you search for me with all your heart. The prophet Jeremiah said isn’t that right with all your heart you humble yourself you quit giving the excuses. And you quit blaming the churches and the ministers and everything else it’s your responsibility to be a Christian. I didn’t hear an amen there but it is we’re looking for somebody to pray over us and give us answers we’re looking for some book to read that gives us answers Jesus said come to me and learn to me I’ll give you the answers.
Scripture in this part
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 56:10Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
— Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 56:10 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why prayer and fasting?
Short answer: Some strongholds come out only by prayer and fasting; answers came months later.
▶ 57:12 And there’s nothing wrong with reading books. You just got to do this while you’re reading them. Hallelujah we need we need ministers don’t get me wrong we need churches but we need God only he can teach you himself only he can open your understanding only he can empower you ministers can do nothing but preach the gospel. After that it’s God and his Holy Spirit. Prayer and fasting. When the disciples. Came across a demon they couldn’t cast out. They hadn’t been told to fast and pray yet.
▶ 58:09 And they asked Jesus why couldn’t we cast him out and Jesus said because this this level of demonic activity. Only comes out by prayer and fasting. Folks if you want to destroy the strongholds of the kingdom of darkness you got to put some prayer and fasting in your life. Fasting is important. Hallelujah. I got tremendous answers months later from fasting months before that I would never got answers to if I hadn’t put in the time earlier I learned that as a young Christian. The thing I was fasting for never happened for weeks sometimes a year. But when it showed up I knew.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 17:21 (NKJV)
However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
— Matthew 17:21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 58:09Is coming to God by invitation?
Short answer: Yes—He called whom He would; the church is invitation-only, not a social club.
▶ 59:01 What was part of a process to bring that answer. And fasting is. Now. We’ve heard about the praise the prayer the study of the book and all the rest. Still there’s one thing that is important to all of these. Jesus called. Now first of all Jesus is the savior Jesus is the healer. Jesus is the one that can open your understanding to over understand the scriptures. Jesus is God in the flesh. Jesus is everything you’re looking for and everything you’re looking for is in him and this guy Jesus said or Jesus called.
▶ 1:00:00 The word called there really should be invited. You see this is by invitation only you can’t just decide. Well I’m going to find God today no this is by invitation only and it’s by invitation only in the process that he gave you to come. You come to me with a smile on your face. You come to me with gladness you come to me with a song you come to me with praise you come to me with thanksgiving all of us can do that this fasting and prayer we need a little time on so he he lets us come in. That easy humility. Are you with me. Hallelujah. But see we want to do it our way.
▶ 1:00:55 This is invitation only the church I. I told the government when they told me I was exclusive I said yes the church is exclusive the church is invitation only not anybody can join the church. You can’t make not church a social club you can’t tell me that I gotta have homosexuals on the board and homosexuals in ministry no it’s invitation only and if you don’t meet the invitation you’re not invited. To touch him. Are you out there church. Hallelujah. Now unbelievers are going to come in. And Jesus can come and invite them.
▶ 1:01:51 But because they come to your church and because they get water baptized or because they go through your form or your method to get on the membership doesn’t mean they come to Christ at all. So he called unto him whom he would now we know that he calls all of us. See come unto me all ye amen. God’s not willing that any should perish but all come to repentance so the invitation is out to all. But when God comes and invites you you feel that conviction you feel that drawing. That’s the difference between christianity and religion is God gets involved. And so they came to him you see they responded they didn’t say oh that was a good message and go home.
Scripture in this part
Mark 3:13 (NKJV)
And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
— Mark 3:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:00:00What does “ordained twelve” mean?
Short answer: He made, fashioned them, that they should be with Him; He wants to be with us all week.
▶ 1:02:56 They responded. And came up to the mountain where Jesus led them. Hallelujah. And that’s why the church is so important the assembly of the people it doesn’t matter if it’s in a park if it’s in a garage or a home or an elaborate building it’s the assembly of the people. So we come unto him and then he ordained 12. Now this ordained is not some magical word. Like I thought when I was a young Christian ordained oh louie they wanted to make me an ordained minister and I thought wow. Wow hallelujah that’s. Give me a little preacher card and all that it took a little time for me to understand. But ordained means to be made.
▶ 1:03:53 He made he constructed. He developed. He fashioned 12. How many could use a little making in your life. You see that’s why he invites us to him only he can make us I can’t make you people anything I can make you mad by preaching the word. And I can make you glad by bringing doing something to bring his presence but I can’t do anything for you. It’s between you and your God oh I can pray for you. Now. God will answer some of the prayers he want to answer some of the prayers and if he answers the prayer you say oh what a great pastor if he doesn’t answer the prayer that guy is not a God. It’s your job.
▶ 1:04:46 To seek him until you find him. Is that an amen. Don’t say it so puny. Say it like you mean it is that an amen. Good grief. Hallelujah. We’re not a bunch of wimps. We’re soldiers. We’re conquerors. So he made 12. And he wants to make you and he made these 12 that they should be with him hallelujah. They should be with him. Ah. Man I wish I’d heard this message when I was a young Christian. Because of lack of understanding I couldn’t even understand what God was trying to do with me you know so I you you fight him not meaning to fight him.
▶ 1:05:48 But you fight him because you’re ignorant. Of what he wants to do and it’s a slow process to open your understanding to what he really wants to do. And so he wants us to be with him not just when we come to church and meet with him he wants us to be with him when we leave church and when we get up on Monday morning to go to work when we come home from work he wants us to be with him when we’re playing with our kids and and doing the family chores and the responsibility he wants to be with us. It’s not just okay I met with God 13 years later man have you when’s the last time you met with God oh one time was enough no one time is not enough. He wants you to continually be with him this is powerful fault.
▶ 1:06:49 And that made a difference when God opened this stuff up to me it made a big difference in my life. I was not a yo-yo Christian as you know those of you who know me. Not up and down in and out circumstances did not affect me at all. Why not because of me because of the one with me he knows what to give you when you need something to be given to you hallelujah. Remember. God said I’ll be with you always. Even to the ends of the world. He’ll be with us how much always when you don’t feel like he’s there is he there yes the problem is this when we gather together in the church he guarantees he’ll be there.
▶ 1:07:51 But we have to reach out and touch him we have to do something. To draw from that presence of God and learn from that presence of Christ he can be here and we are doing our own thing we’re thinking about dinner after church or you know thinking about the football game after church or just daydreaming. He can be right here just like he was when he was here on earth and people not come and touch him they wouldn’t come to him. Are you with me. This is not a facing. Oh God is with me because I believe he’s with me up get off that horse.
▶ 1:08:43 And get on the right tractor. He’s with me because I believe he’s with me I’m saved because I believe I’m saved you’re saved because you’re saved and he’s with you because he’s with you and you have the baptism of the Holy Ghost because you have it not because you believe you got it. He is your husband. He is your friend. Do you spend time with your spouse. Do you spend time in intimacy with your spouse do you spend time working in the home with your spouse for the good of that home. See. That’s what Jesus is he is there. He’s our friend he’s our husband he’s our savior and he’s there to work with us.
Scripture in this part
Mark 3:14 (NKJV)
Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,
— Mark 3:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:02:56 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What did the twelve learn when sent out?
Short answer: Not everyone listened or was healed, yet they rejoiced in what God did; He wants to make you the best spouse and parent.
▶ 1:09:40 All day seven days a week 24 7. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. These 12 he wanted to send them forth to preach to heal sicknesses and to cast out devils. So he made them and prepared them for this ministry all right. And then he sent them out two by two and they found not everybody listened to their message. Not everybody was healed and not every demon was cast out. But they came back so excited.
▶ 1:10:32 For what God did do and church we need to learn that. We need to get our eyes off the ones that reject God eyes off the one that weren’t healed they may be healed tomorrow they may be healed next month that’s not our job our job is to be thankful and praise him and bless him for what he is doing today now that was good amen. Now that is beautiful. That he made these 12 people and gave him authority to do these things. But listen. He’s invited you for the same reason. He wants to make you the best person you can be if you come to him and learn of him from him he can make you the best person you can be he can make you the best if you want to get married the best spouse that you can be if you want to have kids who make you the best parent you can be.
Does He make us work?
Short answer: Yes—He exposes laziness; stop the TV and alcohol, learn a skill; “earned” isn’t in the KJV, but we work at obeying.
▶ 1:11:40 Are you with me. And he will send us out to be married he will send us out to be successful in the world not because I read a lot of motivational books or I do this and that because he will tell me you got to work son if you’re going to make money and you’re going to provide for your home you know you got to work you got to get a an income. He will drive you he will compel you in every area. And to do that he’s got to show you where you’re missing it you’re lazy. Lazy Lord yes you’re lazy. You watch tv and then you complain because you can’t get a job. Go learn a skill.
▶ 1:12:38 Stop the tv stop the alcohol you know poor people are poor because they spend money on things that they can’t not afford to spend money on. Poor women will will spend 50 bucks on a hairdo. And nails getting done they hang out about three inches I don’t know what the purpose of that is and all that they can’t afford it and then. And then they oh pray pray for me Pastor Kincer pray for me the government opened the door to finance woman. You’re the problem. Are you there. There’s this thing in the church for decades about just pray for it.
▶ 1:13:32 Especially in some churches you can’t work for anything if you put any effort. You know you’re not saved. You’re listening to Satan and you’ve got to put work into it you’ve got to put effort into it and nowhere in the box do you know the word earned is not in the King James Bible. No I didn’t think you knew that neither do my King James friends. Can’t earn your salvation they say I’ll say the word earned it’s not even in the King James version they were what what what I said show it to me show it to me where the word earned from Genesis to Revelation is in the King James Bible. I said it’s ridiculous to say you can’t earn your way into heaven because you’re doing works for God I said we do works because he is our master and he told us to obey his word and we work at obeying and you are just wrong.
What happened with the atheist on Facebook?
Short answer: He agreed Christians often do worse, then told him if he seeks truth he will come to the light, Jesus.
▶ 1:14:27 Hallelujah. See they believe things they’re not even in their own Bible and they’re really King James Bible only man if you’re not reading the King James Bible only then you’re going to hell. Hallelujah. I talked with an atheist. On Facebook this week I talked to a lot of people. But this is a good one for this message. And he was telling me he said listen. Christians are sinning worse than us atheists do. I said I can’t argue that point. You are totally right. A lot of people call them Christians that are doing worse than a lot of atheists I know do you are so correct I can’t refute that.
▶ 1:15:26 He says us atheists some of us atheists serve a different God. We serve truth. I said I can’t refute that either. And he said that he served a different God without the Christians God. And a lot of Christians bring a horrible name to God I can’t argue. But I said but b.u.t but if you atheists really are seeking for truth. You will come. To the light Jesus Christ. And let him show you that your truths are of God that you say.
What about the 72-year-old woman?
Short answer: Her real testimony was healing and prison ministry; the old must not retire but pass on what they learned.
▶ 1:16:21 You’re following better than the Christian thought. And guess what we just converted an atheist. Hallelujah he dug his ditch. I gave him a way to get out of it. All right he wanted answers he you know the the Christians have a tendency to defend themselves when they can’t defend themselves we are wrong in a lot of things church. And the world sees it. Hallelujah. I met another lady this week 72 years old and she was. Saying I came out of religion. And I. Came into revival and I came to the full gospel churches and then.
▶ 1:17:16 I came to a place where I could have one beer. And my fellow brothers and sisters said I’m a backslider because I’m drinking one beer. And I replied back to this lady you’re 72 years old and the best testimony you got is you can drink one beer. I said I know millions of Christians that drink more than one bit and they drink other alcohol they take drugs I said that’s not news that’s not news I said you’re 72 years old give me the news all people should have experiences and knowledge and shouldn’t go into retirement when they get old you’re the best you’ve ever been through your experiences if you’ve been following God and through the knowledge that you’ve attained to help others and I said listen I know you got a better testimony than that.
▶ 1:18:16 And then she said well I did get healed of this incurable disease I can’t remember what it was but it was incurable I said now that’s a testimony. Yes who cares about your beer that is a testimony and she says well you know I ministered for years in the women’s correction facilities to bring the gospel to them and you know all these things that happened and I said now you’re talking lady I told you for 72 years old of following God you’ve got more of a testimony than I can drink one bear could that be an amen hallelujah. And that 72 year old came back to life hallelujah the old dead log came back to la to life she got fire in her again. And those of you are getting old don’t you dare get into a retirement mentality you are at your best the things you have learned you need to pass on to the young ones who are going to go through the struggles that you went through and you have experiences to help them and comfort them and admonish them and encourage them could that be an amen.
How can we come for others?
Short answer: The nobleman came for his son’s healing; when it happened at that hour, he and his house believed.
▶ 1:19:31 Now. This went longer than I wanted. It’s so long I’m going to have to quit. In closing. You can come to God. For others not just yourself. Don’t be afraid. To come to Christ on his invitation and touch him for others the example is the nobleman’s son he was rich his riches couldn’t cure his son the finest doctors couldn’t cure his son he was in the roman government and the government could do nothing for him and he heard Jesus was in the country he didn’t even believe in Jesus and that shoots faith right out the door but he heard Jesus was in the land in the neighbor country and he could heal and he was healing he heard the testimonies of people getting healed and so he came to Jesus and not to find Jesus for salvation.
▶ 1:20:41 But asked Jesus to heal his son. Powerful story. Jesus in his wisdom said unless you see miracles you won’t believe. He tested that man. He knew that man was an unbeliever. Unless you see miracles you’re not going to believe in me and that man so wanted his son. Healed and his sons stay alive. That he just shrugged off Jesus’s challenge. And said again. Lord come. My son is dying. And Jesus looked at the man and said go your way your son is healed. And that man didn’t do anything but turn and go back to his house he didn’t worship God he didn’t say oh now I’ll get saved or anything he just turned and went back to his house and his servants met him down the road and they said your son lives.
▶ 1:21:52 And the Noah said what time of the day yesterday was he healed. And they told him the time and he knew it was the very time that Christ said your son lives. And then he believed in Jesus for salvation and his whole family believed in Jesus for salvation. That’s why it’s so important to come to Christ. Get through the worship into Christ get through my message unto Christ get through the prayer time into Christ pray until you pray through they used to say in the old revival. Pray until he touches you he comes.
Scripture in this part
John 4:46-53 (NKJV)
So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.” The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!” Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!” Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household.
— John 4:46-53 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:19:31 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is the closing challenge?
Short answer: Go home and pray specifically every day; prayer is just talking to God; bring Christ to church.
▶ 1:22:46 And you don’t have to just come for yourself you can come for your children. We can’t just faith these things. We got to possess them. And we got to come his way. Every way is important. And I can’t have a prayer time because I’ve preached too long I’m sorry. But you can go home and pray you can get this tape off of Facebook. And you can pray and I mean pray. Decide what you want. And go specifically forward it to Christ. If he isn’t wanting to give it to you he’ll give you something while they are there that he will answer.
▶ 1:23:50 You can be made church those of you on Facebook you can be made. Into a great person a light to the world God wants us all to be a light to the world and it takes being made by him who can make us it takes learning the word from him. You husbands your wives your moms your dads your sons and daughters. I dare you and I challenge you. To go home and pray. And do it Monday and do it Tuesday and do it Wednesday I used to get up well I used to get up an hour before I went to work now I get up three or four o’clock in the morning.
▶ 1:24:50 But it takes prayer it takes and prayer is not a struggle thing like they teach it’s just talking to God. Just talk to him. And he will come and he’ll make you a new creature he’ll fill you with the Holy Ghost and power he’ll give you boldness he’ll give you wisdom he’ll give you love he’ll give you all these things that you are trying to find out in the world that the world can’t give. So I’m going to turn it back over to mike. And I challenge you. Come into his presence with thanksgiving come in with prayer and fasting and come in and touch him and watch what God would do and come to church with Christ not come to church looking for Christ you bring him from your home amen. You deserve.
