From the sermonWhat Happens After You Die? · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

In this short message, Pastor David G. Kincer says that when you die your body decays, your spirit leaves your body, and you immediately stand before Jesus Christ to be judged for what you did in this body. He tells of visions of hell and the judgment day and says ministers should persuade people to turn, because Christ died so they would not have to burn.

What happens to your body after you die?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: He says just a few minutes after you die your body starts decaying; if you are not buried, maggots and bacteria begin to eat it, and if you are buried, worms and insects do. ▶ 0:00 What happens after we die immediately just a few minutes after you die your body starts decaying rotting. [unclear]. As time goes by if you’re not buried. Maggots will begin to eat your body and [unclear] will begin to eat it the bacteria in your body will begin to eat your body if you’re buried the worms and the insects and critters in the ground will begin to eat your body. And uh. All this beautiful stuff that we spend so much time on suddenly isn’t so beautiful anymore. Or we can be burned we either got to be buried or we got to be burned because we start stinking.

What is the first thing that happens when you die?

▶ Watch this part (0:57)

Short answer: He says the body you worshiped all your life starts rotting away, and the first thing that happens is your spirit leaves your body. From James 2:26 he says people say you are dead when your heart or brain waves stop, but God says you are dead when he takes the spirit out of your body.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:57 And so immediately this physical body that you have worshiped all your life and did everything to clothe it with the latest clothing and the latest hair fashion and all the rest just starts. Rotting away the bacteria inside your body just takes over the first thing that happens when you die is your spirit leaves your body. James chapter 2 verse 26. As the body without the spirit is dead you see they say when your heart stops beating you’re dead they say when your brain waves stop waving you’re dead. But God says when my spirit when I take that spirit out of your body you’re dead and as we’ve seen in the Bible those were resurrected because he put the spirit back in them.

Why should preachers try to persuade people about the judgment?

▶ Watch this part (3:54)

Short answer: He says we receive the things done in this body, whether good or bad, and “knowing therefore the terror of the Lord we persuade men” should be every minister’s real motivation. He tells how, as a young Christian, God showed him the sin in homes he passed and he would weep, because those people would be held accountable and somebody needed to tell them.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:54 Appear before the judgment seat of Christ to receive the things done. By our faith. In our faith. In our grace. No done what in this body how you lived. While you were in this body. Whether you did good or whether you did bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord we persuade men what should be the real motivation of every minister preaching the gospel. To persuade people to avoid the judgment of Jesus Christ. I can remember as a young Christian driving down the freeway and God would just open my eyes to the sin going on in the homes that I was passing by now I didn’t have x-ray vision and actually see what was happening but he just said this is what’s you know he just showed me and I would just weep.

▶ 5:04 Because these people were doing things that they were going to be held accountable to God for and somebody needed to tell them. See this is the basic message of the gospel. See you think the Muslim terrorist are bad. You read the Bible about having to stand before God and it should scare you into eternal life. Hallelujah people love one of that scary gospel. From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:01 Again I was working two jobs and I come home in between jobs I had just enough time to eat and I was sitting there and suddenly my eyes were open to see hell and it wasn’t pleasant. And then my eyes were open to that judgment day and people were standing before Christ and no one was saying a word because they knew they knew they were wrong when they did the wrong. There was no debates there. And it was a horrible thing to be in hell and people that say well I’m going to go hell that’s where my sons and daughters are my best friend you are a fool yeah hell is not a pleasant place and if you think you’re going to have friends down there forget it. Isolation is one of the parts of hell.

Can a church or minister save you on judgment day?

▶ Watch this part (6:56)

Short answer: He says Christ died on the cross so you would not have to burn, but if you do not turn you will burn. No church, book, minister or the pope can save you in that day; you will be judged by what you did in this body, and from Romans 14:10 everyone shall give account of himself to God.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:56 Knowing the terror of the Lord we try to persuade men we try to get them to turn. And that’s why Christ died on the cross so you would not have to burn. Hallelujah that’s the good part of the gospel the bad part is if you don’t turn you’re going to burn. There’s no church can save you in that day there’s no book written it can save you in that day there’s no minister on earth can save you and that day the pope can’t save you in that day the only king is going you’re going to be judged by what you did in this body. You can’t blame your parents you can’t blame your children you can’t blame anyone but yourself. For choosing to do wrong and knowing you are doing wrong when you did it so you’re going to stand before God and you’re going to give an account and that’s what these people were doing they weren’t saying a word the light that’s shown from that throne just permeated their whole being and every little thing that was unpure was just exposed just like that and they knew that everything that was exposed they knew they were wrong when they did it just like that no arguments no nothing in Matthew 12:36 every idle word.
