Was Eternal Life Recorded in History Before the Creation of the World? — September 4, 2022: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
God, who cannot lie, promised eternal life before time began. That higher promise gave Adam and Eve a second chance, sent Christ to preach to the spirits in prison from Noah’s day, and makes judgment more tolerable for Sodom. So we must speak up and make disciples.

Scripture in this part
Psalm 84:10-11 (NKJV)
For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
— Psalm 84:10-11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:00 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What word is given?
Short answer: What good is faith if it is not in truth? Israel did what was right in its own eyes; trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.
▶ 19:10 The spirit of the Lord would challenge his people this day and say. What good is faith if it is not in truth. Was not Israel. A nation that did what was right in their own eyes their faith was what they felt was right not what God said was right and they come into captivity they came into destruction was not the Pharisees the Sadducees the scribes word was not their faith in God. But not in his truth but their own man-made doctrines their own opinions what was right in their own eyes oh church of the living God Jesus is the truth and his words are truth put your faith in Christ and in his word in his laws and you will find healing where there needs to be healing you will find wisdom where there needs to be with wisdom you will find everything you need as you follow the truth.
▶ 20:34 Thank you Jesus. And lean not. On your own understanding. In all your ways. It’s the truth. Amen.
▶ 21:34 I trust in you Lord. With all. Of. Them. On my own understand. Ing. In all. Of. Me. And you shall direct. My best. And all your own and lean us.
▶ 22:28 On your own. Understand ing. In on her ways. In eye of your ways. Him.
▶ 23:24 And he shall direct your your. Plans. Foreign. Foreign.
▶ 25:08 The holy is his name. Holy is his name. The holy is his name. King of all the earth let’s lift our hands we lift our hands to Jesus. I lived my hands to Jesus. Holy. Is his name. Holy is his name.
▶ 26:06 Holy. Holy. King of all the earth in response this morning to the prayer and the prophecy we just heard a follow truth that we put our trust our faith not just in things but in the truth of God’s word right now this song says to lift our hands to the the one who is true and that he is a holy God that his word is holy and everything about him is holy so let’s stand together and sing this one more time unto him just surrendering and and as we sing this is our commitment to follow the truth and to serve him with all of our heart let’s sing it again. King of all the earth.
▶ 27:05 I lift my hands to Jesus. Holy. Is his name. Is his name. Oh. Who knows his name. King. Of all the earth. Holy is his name. Holy is his name. Holy. Name.
▶ 28:03 Let’s praise him praise together. Oh. Lord. Jesus king of kings. Oh Lord thank you.
Scripture in this part
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
— Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:34What is the response?
Short answer: “Holy is His name,” and a commitment to put our faith in His truth.
▶ 29:13 As pastor comes to share the scriptures this morning let’s just pray. And commit this morning to putting our faith in his truth which means that we respect his word. Who respect it enough to follow it to listen to it to let it be our priority in our life let’s pray together and let’s lift lift up our voices together and just commitment to God. This morning. Let the Holy Spirit guide us into all truth. Your ways are higher than our Jesus.
Was eternal life recorded before creation?
Short answer: Yes—God who cannot lie promised eternal life before time began and revealed it through preaching.
▶ 30:11 We want to follow you. Sure long Jesus. Jesus is. Here. You may find your seats this morning. Okay we’re going to ask ourselves this question was eternal life recorded in history. Before the creation of the world before what some called the big bang is there a record in history. About eternal life and we find in the Bible that there is recorded in Bible history before time began.
▶ 31:04 In Titus chapter 1 verses 2 and 3 in the hope of eternal life. Which God. Who cannot lie never can lie. Promise before time began. The promise was before he created the world but was manifest. By his word through preaching. Say preaching preaching and this was before the world began this was before we were created God chose the foolish things of preaching to save those that would believe so we’ve got to remember that the Bible is a book of truth not a book of faith. Not a book of men’s doctrines it’s a book of truth and it is a book of righteousness.
▶ 32:02 And we got to remember that God is the author of the book. He used men but he authored it all of it’s given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine correction reproof and righteousness instruction in righteousness so no matter what people tell you the Bible is a book of truth straight from the author and righteousness the whole goal is for us to live right on this earth so. Based on the following two truths. Did God keep his word. Concerning. Eternal life. First truth Christ was with God as we learned in our last session Christ was God.
Scripture in this part
Titus 1:2-3 (NKJV)
in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior;
— Titus 1:2-3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 31:04 (quoted; reference not named in the message)2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
— 2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:02What was predestined?
Short answer: Christ, the perfect Lamb, before a lamb was ever created; the Reformers got only part of the revelation.
▶ 32:56 Christ had the same glory as the father God. And Christ was the perfect lamb. Predestined before the foundation of the world. He was the substitute. Before the lamb was ever created God said Christ is going to be a lamb lamb wasn’t even invented yet. Are you there church see our reformation reformers think that they got all the Revelation from God and all they got was a couple of scriptures and we’ve been living off those couple of scriptures for too long. God started his plan before. Eternity began so based on these two doctrines did God keep his word God who cannot lie as we just read promised eternal life before the world began by way of preaching say it again preaching.
Scripture in this part
1 Peter 1:19-20 (NKJV)
but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you
— 1 Peter 1:19-20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:56Why didn’t Adam and Eve die that day?
Short answer: God substituted an animal; His higher promise gave them a second chance, and the woman’s seed would destroy Satan.
▶ 34:04 Not by way of silence so let’s go to Adam and Eve let’s see if he kept his word Adam and Eve did not die physically the day they sinned God said in the day you eated that tree of knowledge of good and evil you’re going to die. Can God lie no so they what should die shouldn’t they church can God lie should they have died yes. But they didn’t instead he substituted an animal God went and killed a lamb. And took its skins and covered them with it as the substitute. For their sin just as he said before the world began a higher law.
▶ 34:58 Is more powerful than a lower law. And people say well God’s contradicting himself in God’s light no he ain’t lying he created the higher law before he created Adam and Eve amen. And so he gave he had the right to give Adam and Eve a second chance all right. Then God prophesied that the seed of the woman Christ would destroy Satan’s authority Satan’s power. He was going to come and do that as well as be the substitute for he took our place he died for us he took the pain he took the punishment and Adam and Eve chose eternal life Cain did not. There’s no record that came changed but Adam and Eve changed as.
▶ 35:54 Eternal life was promised before creation they got a second chance say second chance. Now if he gives Adam and Eve a second chance will he give us will he give us a third and a fourth and a fifth. Yes is there great hope in the Bible absolutely but truth is what sets you free truth is what makes you wiser than your enemies truth is what heals you it’s truth okay now we’re gonna ask ourselves this question if Adam and Eve and Cain were given a second chance after preached to by God himself God was the preacher the pre came and preached to Adam and Eve he came right to Cain and preached to Cain wow. You can’t get a better preacher can you.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 2:17 (NKJV)
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
— Genesis 2:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 34:04Genesis 3:15 (NKJV)
And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”
— Genesis 3:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 34:58Genesis 3:21 (NKJV)
Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.
— Genesis 3:21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 34:04What about those before the flood?
Short answer: Noah preached righteousness, but where there is no law sin is not imputed; God killed them physically.
▶ 36:49 So. If they were given a second chance what happens to all before the flood and all after the flood. That was not preached to. Wow. What happened to all those people just take a look let’s go to Noah the next thing on the agenda Noah was a just perfect man that walked with God and found grace and preached righteousness this destroys this nonsense about we’re in a dispensation of grace and you know uh. We can’t be perfect we can’t God Jesus said be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect but we can be perfect. Who is right God or the people that says we can’t be perfect God whether we like it or not whether you believe it or not if you understand the word perfect is being complete in him all right and the word perfect is substituted in another gospel with the word merciful.
▶ 37:55 Nobody has a problem with that word do they can we be merciful yes well isn’t that what being complete is is being merciful to yourself treating yourself right and treating others right can that be an amen you see the the the reformation reformers didn’t have all the truth folks. And we’re still living in the past so. He preached righteousness to those around him the Bible says he was a preacher of righteousness doesn’t it hallelujah now.
▶ 38:27 Him and his family. As we all know made it through the flood all the rest were wicked the Bible says they were evil they were violent. And there was no law and where there is no there is no law there’s no. impartation of sin sin is not imputed for there is no law it’s not put on your record okay and the law is what tells you what is good and evil and this again just contradicts everything that a lot of churches are preaching we’re not under law we’re under grace the only laws were not under is shadow laws that cannot take away sin shadow laws that point to the good things to come we are under the good things to come that the shadow law is pointing to and God gave us the first shadow law before the creation of the earth when he said Jesus is the perfect lamb amen that is a shadow law of Christ to come to be our substitute.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 6:9 (NKJV)
This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.
— Genesis 6:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:49Romans 5:13 (NKJV)
(For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
— Romans 5:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 38:27How could they obtain eternal life?
Short answer: Christ went and preached to the spirits in prison who were disobedient in Noah’s day.
▶ 39:29 Now. God couldn’t punish them eternally he killed them yes he killed them physically. But if God can’t lie. He can’t put them to death spiritually he cannot keep them from eternal life. If they had not heard the preaching. Are you there. So. Why wouldn’t he punish them just as I said the promise of eternal life the higher law and he can’t lie so he has to give them a second chance lucky gave Adam and Eve but Adam and Eve was given a second chance of not dying physically that day.
▶ 40:22 And obtaining eternal life these people are dead the flood drowned them. How is he going to do that how the supernatural God going to save these people at the flood that never heard the preaching. First Peter 3:19 Christ. The substitute the lamb when he died on the cross went down into the spirit world where the spirits were imprisoned and he what preached say the word preach to them to who. He went and preached to the spirits in prison who. Formerly were disobedient. When once the divine suffering waited in the days of Noah while the ark was being prepared so who did he preach to those people that died in the flood and those people that died before the flood and methuselah the oldest man alive died the year of the flood and obviously he drowned it and didn’t did not join Noah on the ark he got a second chance.
▶ 41:38 He’s going to get a second chance okay in which few that is eight souls were saved through water and so for seventeen hundred years from the creation. And the creating of Adam and Eve 1700 years goes by and there’s millions if not billions of people in this world. I did a you know genealogical count and it’s easily up in the millions and it could be a million or a billion or billions easily. So is God going to put all these people in the lake of fire because they haven’t heard the preaching no he went and preached to him in the spiritual prison that they were held for 1700 or out before the flood for 1700 years and after the flood after they died they gave them what a second chance say second chance and that’s after they’re dead.
▶ 42:47 We serve a supernatural God that can do things folks it’s not a man-made God God has no limitations and he kept his word here uh 1300 years later Christ came and kept his word amen because he cannot lie 1300 years later and this is the hidden truth one of the hidden truth that Jesus said I’m going to teach you secret things that have not been taught you have not heard of since the foundation of the world this is one of them nowhere in the Old Testament do you find him dealing with. The people of the flood and before the flood until Christ opened up the secret things that are hidden don’t we want to know more about the secret things that are hidden amen not just preach the same old stuff over and over and over hallelujah.
Scripture in this part
1 Peter 3:19-20 (NKJV)
by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
— 1 Peter 3:19-20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 40:22 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What about the scattered nations?
Short answer: After Babel God scattered every race across the world, and many were not reached for 4,000 years.
▶ 43:41 So has God kept this word so far absolutely God cannot lie now. We come to the world. Less than 400 years after the flood they built the tower of Babel the Bible says they were in one accord and God says because they’re in unity there’s nothing impossible for them to do I would say the church would experience this one. But the only way we’re going to do it is by standing on truth not our opinions could that be an amen we gotta we gotta get rid of our opinions and our own beliefs and just believe him whether we like it or not. So. What God did is he made all the races.
▶ 44:37 Changed their skin color gave them a new language gave them a different language. So they couldn’t understand each other and work on the tower anymore and he scattered them through all the world it was no canoe. From the Polynesian islands to Easter Island there’s no going over the gap between Russia and and the united states or north America God transported every race to the area he wanted him to be north America south America central America africa south africa australia asia the asia pacific area and all the islands of the world in europe God put them there there was no evolution there was no mutation he said it and it happened they had new languages they had new skins new looks and everybody was different and he left it that way for four thousand years.
▶ 45:37 Four thousand years goes by. These nations were not discovered until the late 1800s. And as quickly as all of them got discovered as they were being discovered the church went out and evangelized and that’s one of the things our previous fathers had is they went out and they evangelized to every nation wrote the Bible in most nations languages we have some good things about our forefathers in christianity could that be an amen and they did that but these people had never heard four thousand years goes by billions of people. Not preached to. There’s no preaching over here like the mormons say.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 11:6-9 (NKJV)
And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
— Genesis 11:6-9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 43:41Will God send everyone who never heard to the lake of fire?
Short answer: He says the God he met 60 years ago is not like that; the higher law says they must be preached to.
▶ 46:31 Fabricate these things there’s no preaching here there’s no preaching anywhere in this little area everything was kept and then it began to branch out are you with me now is God going to send to the eternal lake of fire all these people that are never heard of Jesus Christ and his laws. Or is he going to be a God of truth and find a way. To save them hallelujah are you interested. Some of these people billions. Live wrong and some live right without the preaching and without God’s laws. And Romans chapter 2 addresses this and says that on judgment day they can be saved without law by obeying what was in the law that they never heard of are.
▶ 47:31 You aware of that birth. That’s the God that we have this is why the epistles are very important to us God Jesus revealed the secret things to his apostles including Paul. All right and we pick up these things scattered through the epistles it makes the epistles very important to us if we don’t go in there with our own mind and looking for what we want to hear could that be an amen all right. The question is are they condemned already as John 3:18 says they that believe not on the Lord Jesus Christ is condemned punished they’re judged for punishment because they haven’t believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and the church of Christ today is adamant about that verse.
▶ 48:25 And they sentence all these people for four thousand years to the eternal lake of fire. But the God that I met back there 60 years ago as a young Christian the God that I met I knew because I met him was not like that I could not explain it in the scriptures but I could tell people no God is not going to destroy all Russians because their government is bad. Because they were saying Russia is going to come down and surround Israel God’s going to destroy the whole nation God doesn’t do stuff like that but I couldn’t at the time prove it by scriptures now I can prove it by scriptures. It pays to know God and it pays to get baptized in the Holy Ghost with power let me tell you it transforms your life it drives you into the word he guides you into all truth without him you’re not going to know beings you’re just going to be stuck at the cross but here Jesus said now Jesus doesn’t lie does he but is there a higher law is there a higher law yes there’s a higher law and that law is Jesus is the substitute for our punishment and the death that we deserve.
▶ 49:46 And that higher law says they got to be preached to. Wow they got to be preached too. Are you following me so far isn’t this a good series. We have the most powerful book that we draw our truth from than any book in the world and the oldest book by the way and we don’t have to have fine fragments anywhere we got an author that can write it anytime he wants. Not an amen anytime he wants now. Are they condemned. In second Corinthians 5:10 it says all everyone will stand before the judgment seat of Christ and receive.
Scripture in this part
1 Peter 4:6 (NKJV)
For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
— 1 Peter 4:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 47:31Will believers be judged?
Short answer: All stand before the judgment seat by their works.
▶ 50:40 The reward by what they did was good by their works where they were good or whether they’re evil how many are going to stand before the judgment seat oh. And there’s a segment of the church that wants to context it out and explain in a way by saying he’s not talking to the believer there. I mean all scripture is given by the inspiration to God is prophet to all of us for doctrine and instruction in righteousness we don’t context it away and we don’t explain it away. Why would be we be afraid to stand before the judgment seat of Christ if we’re innocent why. They don’t want to stand before it because they know they’re not innocent so they make a doctrine now. Are you with me so far. Now look.
Scripture in this part
2 Corinthians 5:10 (NKJV)
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
— 2 Corinthians 5:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 50:40What did Jesus say of Sodom and Tyre?
Short answer: It will be more tolerable for them in the day of judgment than for cities that rejected Him—a second chance after death.
▶ 51:37 Matthew 10:15. This this God of ours is so he’s just he’s just the best he has the answers. He says to the cities that he preached the gospel to and did miracles he preached to these cities and says to them it’s going to be more tolerable I’m going to give more tolerance to Sodom and Gomorrah and Tyre and Sidon than you okay and when is he going to be tolerant. On judgment they said on judgment day. Who’s preaching that. Ah you die it’s over ain’t no tolerance ain’t no nothing you made your decision you’re out. Am I right.
▶ 52:31 I was a young preacher like that. Get with it or get it punished. Now look Sodom is given a very clear description. Of what they did wrong Tyre and Sidon they basically mistreated God’s people and wanted God’s people to be punished by God and so forth that was their big sin and you don’t want to mess around with God’s people even if God’s correcting them you don’t want to stand there and go get them God but Sodom is given details in their sin for their punishment and it says in all these verses you can look them up later they were wicked they were grievous sinners not just sinners but grievous sinners they lived the same sex lifestyle.
▶ 53:34 They were violent they committed fornication if they weren’t in same sex they were bisexual or heterosexual no marriage is having sex anywhere they want they were ungodly. They mock the coming judgment of the Lord you got to be kidding. You’re telling us a joke a lot that’s what they said you’re joking say he took it lightly and mocked they ate they drank they were marrying and buying and selling and giving in marriage they were planting and they were building and they were idle they had the bunts of abundance of idleness and they did not strengthen the poor now immediately the church goes they didn’t give to the poor that has nothing to do with giving to the poor when you strengthen the poor you give them the spiritual things they need.
▶ 54:31 For eternal life and to live for God and you give them the material. Skills they need to provide for themselves not over here shining your butt because I give to the poor we give to the poor no they didn’t strengthen the poor and folks isn’t this where America is at right now. Huh absolutely. Absolutely. That’s where we are at right now. But look as bad as Sodom and Gomorrah were Christ said what I will be tolerant. To them on judgment day. Now we don’t know exactly how he’s going to do that we know what he did with the people before the flood and at the flood but we don’t know at least I don’t know yet the details.
▶ 55:30 Of this tolerance but I am thankful that he is tolerant and this is after they are dead. Amen if you was one of these people would you love this scripture would you want that scripture to be fulfilled would you want a second chance amen and our God before the creation of the world said he was going to give everybody that second chance through Jesus Christ being the lamb and being our substitute for dying physically and dying spiritually for eternity. Hallelujah. Now. As the musicians come. I want to focus you in on the word preach. Before the world created he said it had to be preached say it again preach.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 10:15 (NKJV)
Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!
— Matthew 10:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 51:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 11:22 (NKJV)
But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.
— Matthew 11:22 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 51:37Ezekiel 16:49 (NKJV)
Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
— Ezekiel 16:49 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 53:34Is silence enough?
Short answer: No—we must speak as well as be examples, at family gatherings and on the job.
▶ 56:29 The silence is not going to cut it just letting your light shine by good works is one part but we’ve got to speak. Amen. Silence isn’t gonna do it we gotta speak we need both we need to speak and we need to be example of what we’re speaking of amen amen. So on this holiday the fourth of July and labor day and thanksgiving and Christmas when all the family gets together. Do we in mind our children. Our aunts and uncles our moms and dad of sin. And the payment for it are we just quiet just keep harmony in the home.
Does he plan to retire?
Short answer: No; he is at his best, though it’s good to hand things over.
▶ 57:23 Are you out there folk. When we mingle with people out there in the community are on the job are we silent just being glad we’re going to heaven. And we don’t want to rock the boat we don’t want to stir up any anger so we just quietly serve God. Last week Mike preached a great message on. The rebuilding. And until that prophet spoke. There was no rebuilding. Until Jesus spoke 30 years he was in this world until he spoke there was no one that hated him or loved him. And it’s going to be that we are a church that has been taught I am 79 years old and yes I have passed the administration on to the younger ones they need the experience they need to they’re they have the energy and they identify with the uh.
▶ 58:37 Citizenry around them for their age I didn’t say that right but you got the point. But do I retire. I’m at my best folks. I have experience I know the word over the years and I’m at my best am I going to retire from preaching. From the man above no you’re not. It’s good to hand things over but you got to keep teaching and you know he and God showed me this he shows me this all the time what really helped me grow in God was the old folks of the congregation of the churches I was going to they had the experience and they had the teaching they had learned to the school of hard knocks a lot of things they could prevent me from going through it wasn’t my peers they were a bunch of loons.
▶ 59:34 They all thought they were Moses’s and they weren’t even uh. They they weren’t out of baby hood yet and didn’t have a desire to get out of data. And so I had to learn to hang around older folks. Even if they had kids I remember the old folks the that really helped me most at the beginning was this couple that had young kids now I am 20 years old what do I want to go to somebody’s house with little kids running around but these people invited me over and they men they administered to me. In an indirect way that kept me motivated to serve God and I needed that at the time but it was older one later it was older ones and much later than that it was older ministries that had learned the word of God over time that expedited my understanding of the scriptures and my point is this because you are old and America wants you to retire just remember all the experience and the word you have in you that can help other people could that be an amen.
What is present truth?
Short answer: Make disciples of all nations, baptizing—Peter says baptism now saves us.
▶ 1:00:47 So we have a responsibility to go and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing everyone some people are pushing a baptism doesn’t save you I say why do you want to discourage people from being bad but we’re not discouraging we just said not saving you well why did he get us why did baptized he get one of us and besides Peter says baptism does now save us it’s right there in english. Amen oh no no no it’s a outward work it’s the inward it’s the outward symbol of an inward work I said doesn’t say that and the Bible never says that in the Bible it is an inward work when I got baptized I got an inward work in me.
▶ 1:01:32 We got to get away from this reformation nonsense. And as Paul said we got to be established in present truth and the present truth is still make disciples of all nations preach the gospel that’s how they’re going to obtain eternal life and eternal life is the priority doctrine could that be an amen if you know all these other scriptures and your name is written in the book of life and you don’t know him and the father which is eternal life you’ve missed the whole boat memorizing scriptures and and going to Bible school it doesn’t mean a thing if you don’t know him and possess eternal life could that be an amen do we have a responsibility as a church. To get the word of God out absolutely.
▶ 1:02:25 And if you’re willing to take that challenge by God today will you stand with me and let’s sing this verse together. Teaching them. I am. Baptized in every teaching.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
— 1 Peter 3:21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:00:47 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What news story does he cite?
Short answer: A father who isolated his children from churches and was exposed and imprisoned; the church must override homes that are wrong.
▶ 1:03:26 Them. All that I commanded you hello. I am with you always. Now before we go into prayer. I’m sure most of you read in the paper in the news I don’t read the newspapers anymore but the news yeah that there was a baptist man. They got married and had children and one of his sons got married and had 12 children he taught those children how to play musical instruments how to dance and how to perform as a group and he called it his family clan. And they were very popular and very famous and they were even on American idol and America loved him foreign.
▶ 1:04:27 But later. Some bad things were found out. This father had home Bible studies because he didn’t like denominations and that was his excuse but what he didn’t want is anyone challenging his teaching and if you go to a church you’re going to have a variety of beliefs that’s going to come at you and you’ve got to be able to. Uh establish your own and confirm your own by the word. And anyway this guy had this these kids just. Under his total control and authority. Well it came out that he had been. Molesting the children.
▶ 1:05:22 And I mean these kids were on women free these kids were everywhere. After it was exposed talking about their ordeal and what these kids said was we didn’t know we thought this was normal life. And my point is this church how many young people and children out there are being destroyed by their parents being taught wrong by their parents and the church is silent. Because they don’t want to lose their tax exemption or whatever reason how are these kids going to know that they should not be touched inappropriately how are they going to know that intimacy is for growing up becoming an adult and marrying unless the church tells them because no one else is telling them everything is okay and he not only intimately and sexually abused these kids but he physically abused them as well.
▶ 1:06:33 He got exposed and he’s in prison now but it is the church’s responsibility. To override the homes that are wrong can I hear an amen yes parents have the authority and they have the responsibility to raise up their kids but if they’re not raising them up right. The church has got to get out there with the message printed spoken sung to let people know this is in appropriate behavior this is not normal living can I hear an amen.
