From the sermonWarning: The King Jesus Conspiracy is Strong and Growing — July 19, 2020 · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

Pastor David G. Kincer warns that a conspiracy against King Jesus is strong and growing. Like Absalom’s showmanship that detoured people from David, some lead people from Jesus and claim grace covers everything. The religious leaders conspired and killed Him, and Jerusalem fell as prophesied. Believers need not fear: nothing touches them unless God allows it.

Why study the Old Testament?

▶ Watch this part (26:13)

Short answer: Everything in it was written for our learning and to warn us.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 26:13 Jesus was the second Adam who became a life-giving. Lord and savior okay. Moses Moses’s tabernacle Solomon’s temple. Were a natural temple but the body of Christ is the spiritual temple first the natural then the spiritual so that we can understand spiritual things. Also in first Corinthians chapter 10 verse 11. The Bible tells us that all these things that happened to Israel happened to them for our example our model. And they are written for our admonition our warning our learning on whom the ends of the world are come we know that Jesus came in the end of the world the beginning of the end.

▶ 27:13 So we know that everything in the Old Testament was written for us to learn and us to be warned by and we know that all those natural things that happen back there can be. Illustrated. Into spiritual things are you with me I’m giving you a little Bible study on how to learn the Bible. Before we get started here okay so first the natural then what the spiritual. All in the Old Testament everything that happened back there was written for our learning was given to us an example. A warning so that we can learn from the Old Testament and people that don’t believe in the Old Testament they’re missing out on this first the natural then the spiritual our example our learning our warning so the title of today’s message is.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

What is the warning?

▶ Watch this part (28:12)

Short answer: Be cautious: there is a conspiracy against King Jesus, and serious division over who He is.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 28:12 Warning. The king Jesus conspiracy is strong and growing now be cautious watch out there’s a conspiracy against king Jesus and it’s strong and it’s growing and we’re taking that verse out of second Samuel 15 12. Now before we go to second Samuel 15 I want to remind you that the Bible says in first Corinthians 12:25 that there should be no schism no division in the body of Christ. Are you out there church. There’s supposed to be none what did Jesus pray Lord make them one as you and I are one how in the world can people say where Jesus can come any minute when we are so divided in the church world and Jesus’s prayer has not been answered there’s got to be a move of God in these last days that’s going to move us and bind us together could that be an amen.

▶ 29:16 So. A serious division. Is about king Jesus who is Jesus people are so divided on who Jesus is and what he can do. His laws I mean they’ll just throw out his laws they’ll make their own laws there’s a big division over Jesus his laws and his judgment. So with that in second Samuel 15 verses 1 through 12 Absalom is who we’re talking about here. If you remember last we’ve been talking about him for a couple of weeks. Absalom conspired against his father king David. Absalom had already conspired. To kill his brother. Took him two years of secret conspiracy and finally he killed his brother he became the judge he became the jury he became the executioner he didn’t go through God’s king God’s order and God’s way courtrooms of doing things.

▶ 30:28 If you also remember. David was pers uh conspired against by king Saul. I mean poor David everybody was after him if you also remember everything David was conspired against by his own soldiers his own companions they wanted to kill him because the enemy came and took their wives and their children so poor king David man he is just. He just got conspiracy everywhere.

How did Absalom win people?

▶ Watch this part (31:03)

Short answer: He prepared chariots, horses and fifty men to run before him — showmanship.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 31:03 Absalom provided himself with chariots horses and 50 men to run before him okay. He put on a great show a great display what an entrance. And I’m going to make this statement when one does not possess God see the Bible says to as many as receive him not believe on him but as many as receive him to the they shall become sons of God they will have power to become sons of God you got to possess God you got to receive God can I hear an amen absolutely when people don’t possess God and they don’t possess his truth they don’t accept this truth receives his truths into them his laws they resort to theatrics they put on a masquerade they go through the the drama the uh.

▶ 32:02 Showmanship. Of being what they’re supposed to be but they’re not amen. And that’s what Absalom’s doing he’s putting on a big masquerade a big show to get people’s attention to make them think he’s really something and he wants to lead them away from the gods king. God’s judged king David. Rebels also. That rebellions truth they become sectarian. They just surround themselves with people that will follow them all right they exclude everybody else and not only exclude but absent wanted to eliminate them are you there you got to watch rebelling against Christ and truth and this is you know this is a problem in the church world today and rebels like to draw attention to themselves and that’s what Absalom is doing 50 men running out he’s paying them and he’s got a gold-plated chariot probably back there and well and he’s got the banners and the pompadours and uh those uh things you wave and uh you know he just drawn attention to himself not to God not to the king that God put in the place just drawing attention to himself and how you know a lot of Christians are just out there drawing attention to themselves yes.

▶ 33:32 So. As we said before Absalom says I would give all coming to me justice. Whatever you need in court I will rule in your favor. It says in Jude chapter 1 verse 4 certain individuals whose condemnation was written long ago have secretly here’s this conspiracy they have conspired secretly they got a secret plan to come into the church slipping among you they are ungodly people. Is absolutely ungodly absolutely. They are ungodly people who pervert the grace of our God into a license a permit. To sin immorally.

Scripture in this part

After this it happened that Absalom provided himself with chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him.

— 2 Samuel 15:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 31:03

Does grace cover everything?

▶ Watch this part (34:25)

Short answer: People say so, but your lifestyle shows whether you really believe Jesus is King.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 34:25 Commit immorality. Now grace covers everything faith covers everything have you heard that oh yeah. Yeah. Everybody’s okay. And they also deny the Lord Jesus Christ our sovereign our king now these people believe in God so how do they deny him they’re they’re they’re saying they believe in God so how do they deny him. Titus 1:16 they profess they know me but in works they want deny me. See they don’t live for me they’re ungodly. Absalom and all conspirators may give people a permit to sin but God hasn’t.

▶ 35:21 And your lifestyle the way you live the way you talk. Determines. Whether you really believe Jesus is king and savior and Lord in Isaiah 30 verse 10 Isaiah prophesied about these people. And Isaiah said these people say to us prophets don’t prophesy to us right things don’t tell us truth speak to us smooth things things that don’t anger us things that don’t you know disrupt us and distress us prophesy lies prophesy deceits. That’s what conspirators do. When anyone bowed down to Absalom he put out his hand and they embraced they kissed and this is what conspirators want they want you submitting they want you putting the knee down to their idea their position whatever they want they want you submitting to them instead of the real king who is on the throne put there by God are you with me watch who you bow to.

What did Absalom do to people coming to David?

▶ Watch this part (36:41)

Short answer: He detoured them from the king God placed; some make disciples after themselves.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 36:41 Hallelujah. Now. In this manner. Absalom acted toward all Israel who came to king David for judgment now here comes the natural. Then the spiritual are you with me here comes the example. For our learning we’re going to substitute. Absalom. With conspirators. Or conspirators. And we’re going to substitute king David with king Jesus. And you see how you can learn when you know how to do this when you read your Bible. Okay so we read it again in this manner conspirators. Acted toward all of God’s people who came to king Jesus for judgment.

▶ 37:39 The people were actually coming to the king that God placed in but Absalom. Detoured them. All right. The father judges no one John 5:22 says but he has committed all judgment to the son Jesus is not only the king he is the judge. And people should be going to him for both the laws and the judgment. But the conspirators stole the hearts of the people now when I steal something if I take this guitar here somebody owned it. See so who owned the hearts of the people before Absalom stole them the king David he had their mind their will and their emotion their heart following him Absalom comes in and detours them to follow him he stole the people from following God’s king to his own self and that’s what it says in acts.

▶ 38:54 There are people that come in to make disciples after their own self they just want people to follow their laws their doctrines and their leadership. So he stole them from Jesus and he stole them from God Jesus’s laws. So as we said before. Conspirators have no authority. To judge disputes they have no authority to make laws and they have no authority to interpret laws that’s one of the big problems in the American church is everybody is interpreting. Thou shalt not commit adultery there is no interpretation needed it’s what it says it is amen. Oh but we gotta interpret well it’s a spiritual adultery idols ah.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

In this manner Absalom acted toward all Israel who came to the king for judgment. So Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

— 2 Samuel 15:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:41

Can we change God’s laws?

▶ Watch this part (39:53)

Short answer: No. We have no authority to change God’s judgments or lead people from King Jesus.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 39:53 And neither do we today. We today have no authority to change God’s judgments God’s laws or interpret scripture to benefit us can I hear an amen. God himself wrote the laws folks. God himself laid out the rules and God himself wrote out the judgments for breaking the rules the wages of sin is death eternal lake of fire. That is a law there’s no interpretation needed but God made a higher law but the gift of God is Jesus Christ. Our Lord he saves us he’s a higher law when we put our faith in his death burial and resurrection that higher law cancels out the lore law amen you don’t have to rewrite the laws you just got to get the laws in order.

▶ 40:52 Amen. Now. We have no right today to lead people from king Jesus. Worship nothing but king Jesus serve no one but king Jesus we have no right to try to win people to a church or to some group or to some cause we are to bring people to Christ and tell them to follow him and his ways can I hear an amen it’s not what church you belong to an old song said. As long as for God you may stand so if your heart today is as my heart you’re my brother so give me your hand and we will walk together amen you guys need to learn some of these old songs hallelujah. Now.

Are innocent followers excused?

▶ Watch this part (41:47)

Short answer: Two hundred went in innocence, but we are accountable regardless of church.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 41:47 Absalom took 200 men invited from Jerusalem they were innocent and did not know anything and as I told you before that’s one of the problems in the American church is Christians are not doing their research when politicians are saying things or civil literacy leaders are saying things or or famous ministers are saying things you Bible says to know those that labor among you number one amen number two you better search the scriptures like the bereans did to find out if what they’re telling you is the truth it is your responsibility. To do that you can’t stand before God on judgment and say well Joel osteen led me astray. You’re not responsible and accountable to Joel osteen or any other minister or me you’re responsible to king Jesus and his laws and you’re responsible to study to show thyself approved a workman rightly dividing the word of truth amen.

▶ 42:48 We are accountable for our behavior our actions regardless of what church we go to you can’t blame the church on that day hallelujah. So. The conspiracy was strong. The people increased continually with conspirators. They followed the conspiracy. And it led to a military conflict. A military an arms conflict and the conspirators lost because God had told David David you’re not going to die for your sin. And when God says somebody isn’t going to die. You’re fighting on the wrong side if you’re trying to kill him.

▶ 43:40 Amen. And if you think you can kill Jesus uh you’re on the wrong side if you think you can kill his law you’re on the wrong side you better get on the right side. Hallelujah. So Absalom and his followers died in the war now a lot of people don’t believe in taking up arms. But if you don’t believe in that we wouldn’t be America today. If we had not stopped stopped germany we would be under german rule today. And the Bible says in the class he had the Ecclesiastes there’s a time of peace and there’s a time of war. And we need women women warriors in the kingdom. You women got to buck up.

▶ 44:33 Let’s become fighters. All right now. Believers. When we go to the New Testament and we see the spiritual part of this natural story all right believers are going to conspire to kill Jesus and his laws. In Matthew 26:4. The chief priests the scribes the elders of the people and caiaphas the high priest conspired what’s the word conspired a secret plan to capture Jesus secretly because the people loved him and kill him. That’s what that verse says see Absalom was the natural story Jesus is the spiritual story are you with me.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

2 Samuel 15:11 (NKJV)

And with Absalom went two hundred men invited from Jerusalem, and they went along innocently and did not know anything.

— 2 Samuel 15:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 41:47

Who conspired against Jesus?

▶ Watch this part (45:33)

Short answer: Chief priests who believed in God and ministered in the temple conspired and killed Him.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 45:33 The chief priest. These people believe in God they don’t only believe in God they’re ministering in the temple the scribes they’re the ones that study the scriptures and tell everybody what it says the elders of the people are the leaders of representatives that sent to the temple to represent them called the Sanhedrin and caiaphas the high priests are all in cahoots to kill Jesus. Just like in the story of Absalom. So. First comes the natural then the spiritual Old Testament examples Old Testament warnings Old Testament teaching here we go ready. Absalom believed in God is that right yes so do these people.

▶ 46:25 They believe in God. Absalom wanted people to come to him for judgment. These people these leaders want the people coming to them for judgment. They said if we don’t kill Jesus. The Romans will come and take away our nation and our position our what position oh. Position was more important to them than truth. They had no authority to interpret or write laws or pass judgment isn’t that correct. Only God they could only go to the Bible and say this is the law and this is what’s to be done isn’t that right. In the Old Testament and in the new these people weren’t given that authority.

▶ 47:22 So they conspired. In the Old Testament to kill king David but in the New Testament they conspired and killed Jesus. They actually they had a secret plan and they actually killed Jesus the God that they believed in they killed him. They invited his innocent naive people in the Old Testament the conspirators there did and in the New Testament that’s exactly what they did they brought in Jesus and then they got a crowd of people telling them how bad Jesus was and the people did not do their research to find out about Jesus and they backed up caiaphas and the chief priests and the scribes and the leaders to crucify Jesus and you remember it said crucify him crucify him they got the crowd all worked up.

▶ 48:22 They used a secular military to kill the king in the uh try to kill the king in the Old Testament. And his followers. And in the New Testament they used the roman military. To take Jesus and crucify him. Hello. Hallelujah there’s the natural story there that’s the example and Jesus is the fulfillment of that story. When they conspired against him now as the musicians. Come. And we go into a time of prayer here. Jesus is on the way to the cross.

What did Jesus tell the weeping women?

▶ Watch this part (49:16)

Short answer: If they do this in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 49:16 He met some women on the way to the cross that were weeping and crying for him. Poor Jesus oh this poor guy they’re going to kill him they beat him to a pulp Jesus looked at them and says daughters of Jerusalem. Don’t weep for me. See I’m doing the will of the father. They can’t do anything to me that God didn’t. Plan to happen. Don’t weep for me I’m doing what I’m supposed to do are you here church. And he says weep for yourself. And weep for your children. And then he says this remarkable statement.

▶ 50:10 For if they do this. In a green tree a living tree. What will be done in a dry tree. Jesus was the living tree he is the tree of life amen he’s the giver of life he is the word of life. And they said if they’re doing this to me a living tree what are they going to do for those that are dry. Now listen to me. 30 some years later. The roman army marched into judea. Annihilated every opposition until they got to Jerusalem. Okay.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Luke 23:28-31 (NKJV)

But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’ Then they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ’ For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?”

What happened to Jerusalem?

▶ Watch this part (51:03)

Short answer: It was besieged and the temple torn down as Jesus prophesied; they would cry for mountains to cover them.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 51:03 They besieged Jerusalem. They tore Jerusalem down they tore the temple down just like Jesus had prophesied the temple is going to be torn down the abomination of desolation is the destruction of Jerusalem and that temple. Now I don’t care what they say out there that is very clear in the Bible are you there. Now listen to me close remember Jesus said there’s a delight tree and there is a dead tree. Those Jews who rejected Jesus and the prophecies of the apostles who said this was going to happen. They all died and they got carried captive away. And fulfilled exactly what Jesus said if you are a dry tree. A lot worse is going to happen to you.

▶ 51:59 You’re going to cry for the mountains to cover you get away from the the torment that you’re going to be facing are you there but listen to this. There were no Christians in Jerusalem. There were no Christians protecting that temple why because they were live trees. Because they had Jesus the tree of life in them. And God and people can only do what God gives them permission to do when you are a live tree and it wasn’t God’s permission for Christians to die by the roman soldiers when they came in they had all fl fleed from persecution before don’t always look at bad things as bad. And the ones that had knowledge they just left they knew what was happening there was no Christians they had treated people with Jesus the tree of life in them that had to suffer the problems of the roman army coming in to destroy Jerusalem and none of them were taken captive there.

What can people do to a believer?

▶ Watch this part (53:09)

Short answer: Only what God permits; Jesus said families would hate us.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 53:09 Hallelujah. When you’ve got Jesus folks the only thing people can do to you is what God gives them permission to do. And God gave permission years decades thousands of years before that Jesus would die be beaten and everything for the sins of the world so he was just fulfilling the will of the father. But you as live trees. They can only touch you if it’s God’s will they do are you there hallelujah now listen to me. Did I say this was prayer time. Well we got to know what to pray for. I talked to people constantly through the week on the internet.

▶ 54:04 And they just can’t believe they’re going through difficulties and problems and so forth and I’m telling them haven’t you read your Bible. If you live godly you’re going to suffer persecution people are going to mistreat you. Haven’t you read your Bible that Jesus said I didn’t come to bring peace only on earth but division. A husband against the wife wife against the husband children against the parents parents against children mother-in-law against. Have we ever read those verses. But we just skirt over them because hallelujah I believe God nothing’s going to happen to me hallelujah I believe God man. Name it claim it. And then they go through problems. They go through a divorce and they’re shaking why did this happen to me why did this happen.

▶ 54:59 Jesus said that’s going to happen. My children hate me Jesus said that’s going to happen. Are you there. It’s just shocking to me how everybody just got this rosy picture of this Christian walk and and if you go through any bad thing there’s something wrong with your faith you know. It’s not just scripture there’s something wrong with you yeah are you out there church. Listen. When you have the tree of life in you you can handle these problems. And that’s what the scriptures is saying there is no temptation no tribulation but what is common to man that God will not. Provide a way of escape.

▶ 55:52 You can bear under it because God you have the tree of life nothing can happen unless God ordains it you can get through this divorce you can get through this child rebellion problem you can get through a pandemic. Amen. Because we have the tree of life Jesus in us. If you’re dry. God help you. You’re not going to be able to handle any kind of opposition. You’re not going to be able to find answers. So today we’re going to pray hear my cry oh Lord attend unto my prayer out of Psalms 61. From the ends of the earth will I cry unto thee. When my heart is overwhelmed this pandemic is driving me nuts okay he’ll bring you a spirit of relaxation.

Why be stressed?

▶ Watch this part (56:54)

Short answer: You serve the Prince of Peace; nobody can touch you unless God allows it.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 56:54 People are always telling me they’re stressed out hey you serve the prince of peace. You don’t have to get stressed out. Stressed out is not acceptable can I hear an amen. But that’s the way I am and ain’t the way you are. You guys come to make you a new creature. All things passed away all things made new but you got to pray for them you got to seek for them. Like the warrior thing we gotta we’re warriors folks. We’re following Jesus the warriors and we gotta fight with prayer we gotta fight with praise not just sing a song and not just say words but fight. Amen. I am a tree that is alive.

▶ 57:48 Nobody can touch me unless God allows it so if a divorce is coming in my family I have to keep trusting God I’m not going to fall away from God I’m not going to be distracted from God I’m going to hang in there I’m going to hang in there before the divorce I’m going to do everything I can because I am a warrior I have the tree of life I gotta fight the enemy. My children God said he would bring my children from afar by God I’m not giving up I’m gonna pray I want to seek God I want to see God do something. Amen. Not going to accept this thing I’m going to fight there’s a conspiracy to kill Jesus and his word and I’m going to fight against that conspiracy Jesus is the Lord he is the king of all kings he is the captain of the host and we are his army and we are victorious.

▶ 58:48 Amen. So we’re going to pray today. And then we’re going to thank God for a few things will you stand with me and let’s sing this as a prayer whatever you got on your mind whatever you’ve got. That you want God to meet with let this prayer do. It. Oh. Is.

▶ 59:58 From. That is. That. Is. Is.

▶ 1:01:22 In. Oh. We rule over the world. The reality of preventing God.

▶ 1:02:32 Himself. Thank you. Thank you. We can do all things. We have the tree of life season within us. Penetrating the tree and destroying it. Because these.

▶ 1:03:31 Are trees of life. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord if any of us will dry the day Lord to touch them right now with the water of your spirit the water of your presence the water of your world hallelujah. And with your mouth they can set yourself free by saying I am a child of the king I am everything that God promised that I could be I am a tree of life therefore I am not going to worry and be distressed about anything because nothing can come in my life that God has the real danger. And I will get through it. Doesn’t he need a big thing.

▶ 1:04:38 Amen. Is. Hey man. I’m going to raise your hand and say I am a tree of love. Yes only what God has a thing that happened.

▶ 1:05:31 As I follow him and I’m going to get to it even if those Jews paid a horrible price for rejecting Christ in his word. And they still are. But if you remember the guy who wrote. It as well with my soul he had lost his wealth. Hallelujah. This is what God her name blessed be the name Lord just like joe and wrote that powerful song and folks you can do the same thing because amen.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear.
