War of the Wise Part 2: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Daniel interpreted the statue as successive kingdoms, as plainly as God foretold Egypt. The stone cut without hands is Christ’s kingdom—His church—which can never be destroyed and keeps growing to billions. God uses young people; be strong and prove yourself.
What is the interpretation?
Short answer: Successive kingdoms, as plainly as God foretold Israel’s 400 years in Egypt; the last divided.
▶ 0:00 Verse 36, this is the dream, Nebuchadnezzar. I told you the dream, this is the interpretation. You, oh king, are the king of kings and you are this head of gold. Wow. King Nebuchadnezzar is the head of gold and Babylon’s kingdom is that head of gold. The God of heaven has given you a kingdom of power, strength and glory, made you ruler of all men and animals. And that’s not true. He didn’t rule over Australia, didn’t rule over China, didn’t rule over Japan. Didn’t rule over the Americas. Now, why is this important? Because so many people want to get God down to the needy-greedy details of everything he says and come up with these cockeyed doctrines to make it work.
▶ 0:59 For instance, God plainly said that Israel would go into Egypt 400 years. Plainly said it. And then when we find out when they came out it was 430 years. Are you there? You know, don’t try to lock God in to some mental nonsense. Now, this is good for you. You know, they want Jesus in the grave for three days and exactly three nights, so they have him dying on Wednesday and what they got to do to do that just amazes me. And there’s a strong group in America that believe that Jesus died on Wednesday when it plainly says is in Luke that he died on Friday. It’s just plain English. But they got to have him in the grave three days and 3 nights.
▶ 2:01 You understand? Don’t get caught up in this prophetic nonsense. Okay? Now, he says after you will be an inferior kingdom to you. Now, remember, Babylon was 14 mi square with a moat all around it, water all around it to a second wall. If they got past the first wall, it was impregnable. But, the king of Persia, that the Euphrates River ran right through Babylon. So, what did the king of Persia, the next inferior, I don’t know why they’re inferior. I haven’t figured that one out yet. But, the king of Persia diverted the Euphrates River. And then, he just marched his army right under the river gate.
▶ 2:56 And destroyed Babylon just like that. That sounds superior to me, but God knows what he’s saying. What my my point is, see, God looks at the kingdom as inferior, so what? It is inferior. The Persian kingdom was bigger than the Babylonian kingdom. But, God says it’s inferior. So, what? It’s inferior. Now, the third kingdom of brass to rule all the earth. Again, Alexander the Great and the Greeks did not rule all the earth. And a fourth kingdom of iron that can break all of these others, and we know iron can mold and make silver and brass and gold, ain’t that right? There is iron. The mixture of clay and iron, they’ll be partly strong and partly broken.
▶ 3:54 And they’ll be a divided they will says they’ll be divided and they Uh, that’s what that division sign is there for. Kingdom’s going to be divided. And they will mingle with the seed of men but not cleave. And see, Rome, you we can read this stuff now and we know Persia, Greek, and then Rome came up to be the prominent empires, nations one right after another and Rome carried on for quite a few years. In the days of these kings the kings that they’re there during the iron kingdom shall the God of heaven, there’s that God of heaven again. Set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed.
▶ 4:47 Duh. Now, if you know your scriptures even in Daniel’s day, you know what he’s talking about. Because from Genesis to this time the prophets have been talking about this. Just not in detail like this one. This one’s in detail. This kingdom will never be destroyed. Hallelujah. Look at the positive message. He’s going to He’s going to show you things to come and he’s talking about a kingdom that eternal. The kingdom should not be left to other people. See? God’s not going to s- uh, switch like he did from Jews to the nations. He’s sticking with the people in this kingdom. He’s sticking with them till the end.
▶ 5:39 But this kingdom will break in pieces and consume all these nations. Now, the stone had already broken all these nations. But now that’s the people of the kingdom is going to break these kingdoms and shall stand forever. We know in Mark chapter 1 verse 14, Jesus came preaching the gospel of the what? Kingdom of God. Wow. In the Roman Empire, just like he said he would. During the Roman Empire. Saying the time is what? Fulfilled. See, now, see, it’s easy for us to understand and I’ve told you this before. They didn’t have a any understanding of Jesus’ first coming until Jesus started doing things and then they would say, “Oh, it’s written.
▶ 6:32 Oh, the prophet said this.” But no one goes at the beginning, “Oh, hey, an angel’s going to come down and going to visit Mary and and she’s going to have a child and he’s going to be the son of God.” No one was saying that. They said it as it happened. And see, we’re going to get understanding in these last days as it happens. Isn’t that beautiful? The kingdom of God is at hand or it’s here. Repent and believe the gospel. Is repent more important than believing? Is it the first in rank? Did Jesus come to turn us from our sins? You’d never know that by the messages in the American churches. It’s all believe, faith, grace. But he wants us to what? Turn from our sins.
▶ 7:23 Why did Jews go into captivity? Because of their lack of belief and faith or their lack of repentance? Yeah. They didn’t turn from their sins. And the churches in America filled with sinners. And they just wipe their mouth as it says in Proverbs said, “I’ve done nothing wrong.” I done nothing wrong. Luke 1:31, “You shall conceive in your womb and bring forth a son and shall call his name Jesus. He shall be called great and shall be called the son of the highest. The Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever and his kingdom of his kingdom there will be no end.” He’s setting up an eternal kingdom just like Daniel said. Now, it’s important for you to know this.
▶ 8:21 Isaiah 42 several hundred years before this said, “I will not give in Isaiah 42:8, I will not give my glory unto another.” Talking about this time, I’m not going to switch covenants. I’m not This is the last covenant and these people are the ones I’m going to make it with forever. Aren’t you glad of that? Acts 9:5 “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.” Now, it’s important you know this. This is really heavy ready here. A lot of you have heard this before but Paul uh Saul was persecuting the church. Putting them in prison, killing them, stoning Stephen. Jesus comes to Saul. And Saul as a light shining light and the voice and Saul says, “Who are you, Lord?” And Jesus said, “I am Jesus whom you’re persecuting.” Now, was Paul Saul persecuting Jesus himself?
Scripture in this part
Daniel 2:36-43 (NKJV)
“This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king. You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold. But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.
— Daniel 2:36-43 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:00Genesis 15:13 (NKJV)
Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years.
— Genesis 15:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:59What is the stone?
Short answer: Jesus’ kingdom—the church He identifies with; unquestionable, it will never be destroyed.
▶ 9:31 No, who was he persecuting? The church, the believers, the followers. See, Jesus is saying, “I am the church.” Are we the temple of God? Is Jesus in us? Yeah. And so, when you separate Jesus from His church and you mistreat the church and you mistreat God’s people, you’re mistreating Jesus. So, Jesus and His people are what Daniel is talking about. Verse 45, “You saw a stone cut out of the mountain without hands. It break in pieces the iron, the brass, the silver, the gold, and the clay. God has made known to the king what shall come to pass afterward.
▶ 10:25 The dream is certain and the interpretation thereof is sure, which means it is unquestionable. What I’m telling you, king, there’s nothing to add to nor take away. I’m telling you the facts of this dream.” Did you hear that? And yet, people today go to Daniel 2 to try to interpret what Daniel has already interpreted. Am I right? I’m right. Don’t look at me like that. I had to work through this mess. It took me several years to figure this one out. These things don’t come playing games with God. You got to be on your knees in that book seeking God.
▶ 11:22 Now, Acts 4:10, “Be it known unto you all and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him does this man stand here before you. God he A man was healed. This is the what? The stone. The stone cut out without hands is who? Jesus. And there’s other scriptures. I’m only going to give you one. This is the stone set at naught of the builders and it become the head of the corner and he’s quoting a scripture in the Old Testament. So, Jesus is the stone that’s smiting the nations and building a kingdom. Unless the Lord builds the house, we labor in vain. Folks, we can’t do this on our own.
▶ 12:14 We got to work with King Jesus. Isn’t that comforting? Now, unquestionable, Daniel said, “What happened?” I told you before the king of Persia came in and overtook Babylon. Greece conquered Persia. We all know this. You learn it in history in school. Rome conquered Greece. They were divided in 286 AD and they fell as a kingdom in 476 AD. The stone, as we saw in the scriptures, is the eternal kingdom, the church of the living God, that breaks and consumes or ends all these kingdoms. By preaching the gospel, by living for God, we are to break apart these kingdoms, bring them to God.
▶ 13:12 Are you there? The stone that smote the image and made it turn into chaff and blown with the wind became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. The stone became a great mountain. We know the stone is Jesus, right? We know that Jesus and His church is inseparable, right? Yeah. Became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. Now, look here. Here’s what I mean by prophets today trying to go back to Daniel who said my prophecy interpretation is unquestionable. They bring Daniel chapter 2 over here into eternity. The mountain in the millennium, the 10 toes in the 7 years of tribulation, and the stone at the end of the tribulation.
▶ 14:05 See, these people that try to get into the details, they have more charts than you can shake a stick at. And unlearned believers believe them. And Daniel plainly says this interpretation is what? Unquestionable. Hallelujah. Don’t add to it and don’t take away. Can I hear an amen? Now, Isaiah chapter 2 verse 2. Isaiah was several hundred years before Daniel. It shall come to pass in the last days. What was Daniel’s prophecy about? The last day. Am I losing you?
Scripture in this part
Daniel 2:44-45 (NKJV)
And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”
— Daniel 2:44-45 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 12:14Acts 9:4 (NKJV)
Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
— Acts 9:4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:31Is the kingdom growing?
Short answer: Yes—2 billion Christians; people press into it.
▶ 14:59 I worked hard getting this simple. I don’t want to lose you. Okay. So, when Jesus came, died on the cross and built His church, was that the start of the last days? Yeah. It plainly says that in Acts chapter 1. Plainly says that. All right. That the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills. And all nations shall flow into it. And many shall go and say, “Come, let us go to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.” So, what is the mountain of the Lord? The house of God. The mountain of the Lord is the house of God. Says it twice here. Mountain of the Lord’s house. He will teach us His ways and we shall walk in His paths.
▶ 15:54 For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Hebrews chapter 1 says that God in the old days spoke with the prophets, but today He speaks through who? His Son. Now, who do we go to to learn? Jesus Christ. In this day, who is our teacher? Jesus and His word, right? Hallelujah. The house of the Lord. The law is a rule, a law that has a reward or a punishment. You violate it, there’s a punishment. You reward it, you you obey it, there’s a reward. The law of the Lord shall go forth out of the church.
▶ 16:51 And the word of the Lord shall go forth out of His church. And that’s all that should be going out. Not positive thinking, possibility thinking, psychology, not prosperity, not all these things that they are enticing the American believers away from Christ. It should be the law of God and the word of God. First Peter 2:5, you as living stones are built up by what? Spiritual house. You see, this stuff was fulfilled when Christ came and established his kingdom and established the church. He said, “You’re the house of God. You’re the mountain of the Lord. You’re to go and fill the earth.” Just like he told Adam to multiply and fill the earth, he’s telling his church to multiply and fill the earth.
▶ 17:49 And we have 2 billion Christians, one form or another, in the world today. In every kingdom, nation, tribe, and tongue. Hebrews 3:6, Christ the son over his own house, whose house what? Are we? We’re the house of God. See, we’re the mountain of God. We are the ones that’s to go and conquer this world for Jesus Christ and his righteousness. Amen. And though we are in a despairing season right now, buck up, church. We won’t be in this season forever, because God always has a plan. Hallelujah. And they that are faithful and called and chosen are going to be part of the plan to rescue those who got strayed away.
▶ 18:46 I’m not looking for the rapture. I am looking for Jesus to move in the earth. Hallelujah. He’s got the biggest harvest he’s ever had a chance at. And I believe his blood is powerful enough to get it done. Okay. John 18:36. Jesus replied and said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight that I not be delivered to the Jews.” Okay, his kingdom’s not of this world. It’s not a natural kingdom that everybody wants set up. Everybody wants a Christian government nation. We should have a Christian government. But his kingdom is separate from that. The kingdom of God, he says in Luke 7:20, is within you.
▶ 19:41 Doesn’t come with observation. It’s within you. I want to reign over your feelings. I want to reign over your mind. I want to reign over your will. I want to reign over you. Hallelujah. And then when we get elected to Congress, we have something to say. How many of you know there’s a lot of Christians say they’re Christians up in Congress that don’t have anything to say? See, this is the problem. It’s got to start with us. Now, and in the church world, do we have a lot of ministers that don’t have anything to say? Absolutely. In the church world, do we have a lot of Christians that don’t have anything to say? Yeah. Luke 16:16, “The law and the prophets were until John, and since that time the kingdom of God is preached and every man is what?” Pressing into it.
▶ 20:34 Forcing their way into it. You got to do something to get into the kingdom. Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face, worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation, a and sweet odors under Daniel. The king said, “Of a truth, that your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings.” Now, this first signifies that Nebuchadnezzar don’t get it yet. When he’s worshipping Daniel, he ain’t getting it yet. He says, “Your God is a God of gods and Lord of kings and a revealer of secrets.” See, all of a sudden the king got instructed.
▶ 21:32 He made Daniel a great man, gave him many gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief of the governors and over all the wise men. The Chaldeans, he is their leader now. Daniel asked and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the affairs of the province of Babylon, but Daniel sat in the gate of the king. Now, believers, let me sum this up. It looked bleak in Daniel’s time. Daniel was an innocent person that was paying the price along with the unrighteous. And remember his character, he didn’t complain, he didn’t blame, he didn’t attack. He just went with the flow knowing that God was changing the seasons. These four young followers of God and followers of his word impacted the pagan king of Babylon to declare that Daniel’s God was the real God.
▶ 22:47 To acknowledge them with actions of high respect to admit that their God was the God of gods, the Lord of lords, the king of kings, revealer of secrets. Impacted the king of Babylon to take the slaves that they brought into captivity, castrated, changed their sexual orientation forcefully, made them rulers over the governors and the wise men and over the whole province of Babylon under the king. Just like that, things changed. And what’s the key here? In the midst of our difficulties of a nation, in the midst of the difficulties that the church is in today, God is going to use young people, and he can use old people.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 11:12 (NKJV)
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
— Matthew 11:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:34Whom does God use?
Short answer: Young people like Daniel—be strong and prove yourself a man.
▶ 23:41 Used Moses was an old man, 48 years old. But here he used young people. So, don’t you old people get retirement mentality on me. Remember, Zechariah was an old man. No, you well, I’ve done my part, and I’ll let the young ones I’ve done my part. You keep doing your part. And let the young ones do their part. God can impact our church in America and our nation in America through people who will just be like Daniel and just be normal everyday Christians with character, working, getting a job, getting an education, going to church, praying, worshipping, reading their Bible, and then God suddenly reaches down and takes a few of them and changes a nation and changes the direction of the church.
▶ 24:37 Isn’t that powerful? I talked to so many people, well, there’s no answer for America, and there’s no answer for the church. Yes, there is. His name is Jesus, and it’s always been Jesus, and if we will humble ourselves and pray and seek his face and turn from our wicked ways, he will hear, and he will heal the church, and he’ll heal America. And you young people don’t have to be something great. You don’t have to have gray hairs on your head. Just be an everyday normal Christian, and God will honor it. Now, that’s good stuff. Daniel was nothing before God separated it. He was not known in Jerusalem for anything. Nobody knew who he was until God decided to choose him.
▶ 25:40 It pays to serve Jesus Christ, folks. And those that serve Jesus Christ are the answer to the churches’ tragedies and the American tragedies. And I can guarantee you listen to my words. As Joseph said to his brethren, “I die.” In Genesis 50:24, “But God will truly visit you.” Do you hear that, young people? Joseph was old, and he said, “Listen, God’s going to visit you.” We may be going through a dry season, but God’s going to visit. First Kings 2:2, he says, “I go the way of all the earth.
▶ 26:35 Be strong therefore, and prove yourself a man. Keep the charge of your God. Walk in his ways. Keep his statutes and commandments and his judgments that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn. God will visit His church again. This thing ain’t over. We’re not going to escape through some rapture. God is going to come and move in His church again and the church are going to get restored and unbelievers are going to come to God. There’s going to be another visitation of God in the earth. You mark my word. I can’t tell you when it will come. I can’t tell you how it will come, but I know those scriptures and I know God. It’s coming.
