Pastor David G. Kincer continues on disarming doctrines, addressing vengeance and judgment. God is the avenger, yet Scripture requires witnesses, establishes justice, and shows Moses defending the oppressed. The city of refuge protected the accused until evidence was heard. Jesus wept with Martha and Mary and can cure our present problems.

How do we stand?

Short answer: Put on the whole armor of God; it’s a command, not a recommendation. Resist the devil and he will flee.

▶ 0:00 Yes good to have everyone I’d like to invite you to find your seats we’re going to get the facebook live stream going here and then we’re going to invite mr bambro up to share the scripture reading so let’s get started let’s get ready worship team come on out this is exciting yesterday we had a good time and servant we had a meeting up here prayer meeting and it was powerful we got together this Bible says that two or three are gathered in my name there he is in our message he was in our midst amen those who were there it was good so this morning. We are excited to gather in his name in Jesus Christ’s name amen we are excited to hear the word of God this morning the word of God converts the soul it is the thing that changes.

▶ 0:52 It makes all the difference in the world and we are excited to meet with Jesus Christ who died on the cross and today I’m sorry and he rose again he is living today. That’s what I tell people Jesus Christ he died on the cross but he rose from the grain and he is still alive today he will come to you amen and we need him. We need him to change this amen. Up to share the scripture reading great go ahead. Good morning good morning the scriptures this morning remind us we are in a war and as Christians we’re in a war between good and evil between light and darkness and we are at a war between the world the flesh and the Devil and our only objective.

▶ 1:40 Is victory the Bible says in Ephesians 6:11 put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil Ephesians 6:12 continues for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities against powers it’s the rulers of the darkness of this age against spiritual host of the wickedness in the heavenly places in Ephesians 6:13 continues therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day having done all to stand Paul is telling us to take a stand with stand and stand in the evil day and believe me the battle for your soul begins in your mind the Bible says in Proverbs 23:7 for as a man thinketh so easy in other words if you can think it you can achieve it however if you allow Satan to control your thoughts he can control your destiny because I assure you when Satan sees you without the armor of God he will totally destroy you uh you cannot possibly survive on your own strength why are so many Christians falling apart today is because they don’t have the strength to endure the Bible says in Ephesians 16 be strong in the Lord and in the power of his mind and that means put on the whole armor of God.

▶ 3:10 Which is a command not a recommendation. You are no match for the prince of darkness but what do you put on the whole armor of God you are more than a conqueror in Christ that is why the Bible says in Romans 8:37 we are more than conquerors through Christ with the whole armor of God you can look the Devil in the eye and say Psalm 68. One let God arise and let his enemies be scattered save me get out of my life get out of my thoughts get out of my marriage get out of my home get away from my children get away from my health get away from my finances the power.

▶ 3:49 And the anointing of Jesus Christ are with me and I am the conqueror here the Bible says in James 4:7 resist the Devil and he will flee from you translation fight the Devil and fight him every day resist him and resist him every day taking a stand means you refuse to be intimidated by Satan who comes as a roaring lion according to first Peter 5:8 Philippians 1:28 says do not be intimidated in any way by your enemies meaning in nothing be not terrified by your adversaries and God loves a winner he loves when you overcome and Jesus is alive he is Jehovah shama the Lord who is there he is Jehovah missy the Lord our banner and he is emmanuel God with us this is born and let’s put on the whole.

▶ 4:45 Let’s come out fighting with fresh fire so we can be counted worthy among the New Testament saints let’s praise and worship Jesus Christ the only true king. Amen. This is a new song this morning. Is.

▶ 5:50 Is. Is. Me. Is.

▶ 7:56 Is. Oh. Foreign. Is. Uh.

▶ 9:34 Oh. Is. Is. Tell.

▶ 10:44 Me. My. Foreign.

▶ 12:08 Is. Is. Is. Wow.

▶ 14:14 Huh. Is. Is. Yeah. Is.

▶ 15:29 Shall be my praise the Lord. For. Oh. Shall be our feet. Unto is.

▶ 16:29 Lord on the the earth. Is.

▶ 17:58 Oh. To the Lord. Is. Betray.

▶ 19:22 Oh. Tv. Oh. Ready.

▶ 20:37 Sing unto the Lord. Oh. Oh.

▶ 22:10 Is. Oh. Me.

▶ 23:47 How did you. Oh. Foreign. Oh.

▶ 25:12 Oh. Hallelujah. Oh. Foreign.

▶ 26:22 Oh. Oh. Man. Um.

▶ 27:40 Jesus you are the captain of the host even as you were with Moses in the desert and with Joshua. Lord you appeared to judgment sin I am the captain of the host of the armies of Israel. And Lord you led them to battle and you show them exactly what to do Jesus all that we would have ears to hear what you’re telling us in these times as church God as your church where truly we are like indeed Lord but yet you are there with us showing us and Lord as they were led to battle it was the priest it was the man of God who led the army in worship and in praise to their God and because of it they won the battle and we shall be the battle.

▶ 28:35 Because he. Is a victory. Yeah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So.

▶ 30:06 Oh. Is. Oh. Is.

▶ 31:16 Is. Is. Oh.

▶ 32:40 So. So. Let.

▶ 33:36 Us. Let. Us. Oh. So.

▶ 35:14 So. Father we want to thank you again another time for this opportunity to come together in this place Lord to send praise and worship to you and lift up your name in this place. Lord we thank you for that wonderful privilege we have to come and boast about your goodness and to sing about your wonders. And your mercy and a long list of other things Lord that we have to be thankful for there are many things and there is always something to be thankful for Lord for serving and following you because we know Lord that no matter what may come in our life you are ultimately in control and you are at the hill and all we need to concern ourselves with Lord is pleasing you and serving you and following after you and Lord as we continue on today we pray yet another time that we can learn more.

▶ 36:17 As we dig into your word here this morning and that we will open our understanding further in the scriptures it will give us more of an understanding of what they have to say as they speak to us Lord even though we were written to others and we thank you for this and we give you the praise and the glory and everyone said. Amen. We have been talking about why. The nations of this earth have the government that they have. And a sub-topic. Is doctrines that take the fight out of God’s people. So we’re going to continue in disarming doctrines.

What did last week show?

▶ Watch this part (37:11)

Short answer: Christians twist scriptures into disarming doctrines; once saved always saved is not in the Bible, and salvation isn’t “free” without conditions.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 37:11 We showed you. First of all that there’s a lot of Christians of a lot of Christians all over the world that believe that all government is under the authority of Satan. So don’t get involved in politics and don’t even talk about it yet government is the third most talked about topic in the Bible and we showed you that the Bible says God reigns in the kingdoms of men and gives it to whomsoever he will even the basis of men. We showed you that Satan is a liar the father of lies and has no truth in him Satan was lying to Jesus there. Jesus knew he had rulership of all the nations and here’s Satan lying to him.

▶ 38:03 Yet Christians they twist doc they twist scriptures and they come up with these things and it disarms us when we can’t talk about government and and and approach government. And especially make judgment of government’s laws whether right or wrong then we are disarmed secondly. The turn the other cheek go the extra mile give your clothes away sell all you have and give to the poor and we showed you that Jesus never gave one penny to the poor. The apostles didn’t either. The poor in spirit is the main message of the gospel taken the gospel of Jesus Christ to those lacking in the spirit amen. And we showed you that Jesus said you know you’ve got the poor always with you you know give to them if you want to do do that but let’s let’s stick to the kingdom amen.

▶ 39:04 We also showed you that once saved always saved is not in the Bible. The Bible says plainly that they left the faith they strayed from the faith you can’t leave and stray from something you never had all right and the angels left their first estate and these people that say that when people go back and sin then they were never saved that is not in the Bible that that you make those statements up to justify your belief. The angels left their first estate are you going to tell me the angels were never ministering spirits unto God. Show me that in the Bible he never created those angels to rebel and follow Satan he created ministers. Spiritual ministers unto the people the human race.

▶ 39:56 So we showed you all that salvation is free it is not free. And the Bible never says it’s free the Bible says you got to confess your sin that is a work you do something you got to repent of your sin that’s a work you got to do something am I yes amen you got to be baptized and so forth and you got to follow on in the scriptures and that scriptures will set you free so when they say not of works they don’t understand that it’s not the works of the shadow laws that Christ fulfilled but it’s always the work of the civil and spiritual and wise laws of the Bible amen. So. Today we’re going to talk about.

They that live by the sword?

▶ Watch this part (40:51)

Short answer: A misused statement that keeps Christians from defending.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 40:51 Vengeance avenging and so forth. How many heard the statement they that lived by the sword die by the sword. Only three come on how many I’ve heard in the Bible it says if you live by the sword you die by the sword it’s not in the Bible. That statement is not in the Bible Jesus made a statement when Peter cut off a servant of the high priest’s ear. When they come to arrest Jesus. And Jesus said to Peter. You know put up your sword. They that draw the sword shall perish by the sword that’s a big difference than they that live by the sword. Are you there. Did Jesus tell them to take swords yes he did did he first tell them they didn’t need one yes he did then he said what you take a sword.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 26:52 (NKJV)

But Jesus said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.

— Matthew 26:52 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 40:51

What does vengeance mean?

▶ Watch this part (41:54)

Short answer: Getting even; God is the avenger, but anger is not murder.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 41:54 Number two and this is vengeance, avenge not the Bible says God is the avenger so judge not how many heard this famous statement for the last 30 decades judge not lest you be judged with what judgment you judge you shall be judged and what measure you meet you shall be majored into you again leave me alone don’t tell me. How many heard that statement for decades yes the homosexuals. Conceived that statement. The same-sex people and everybody else grabbed onto it so let us go in to avenging. And judging. In Leviticus 19:18 you shall not avenge nor bear any grudge against the children of your people avengers retaliate.

▶ 42:48 Mistreat or hit back get even they do something to you I’m going to do something to them. And bear any grudge any hatred any dislike. Any resentment. Toward the people of God. But you shall love your neighbor as yourself here is where the famous second commandment come in chiefest commandment you shall love your neighbor as yourself I am the Lord and this is where they take you know we can’t retaliate we can’t do anything we just got to turn the other cheek we just got to be good little obedient Christians and let everybody walk over us. In Romans 12:19 in the New Testament avenge not yourself but rather give place into anger.

▶ 43:44 Anger not murder. Not rape anger how many have you ever had anger. Yeah how many of you are pretty good at anger. You know just because somebody gets angry doesn’t mean you gotta do something. If anger is contained and not acted out it’s just anger all right. It usually starts with the words though they start saying words they wish they’d never said isn’t that true yeah we start mouthing off we get angry and start shooting our tongue. Off it is written vengeance is mine and it is it’s in the Old Testament I will repay. Then he goes on to say in Luke 6:37. Judge not. And condemn not condemn is punishing sentencing.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Romans 12:19 (NKJV)

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

— Romans 12:19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 41:54

What does judge not mean?

▶ Watch this part (44:40)

Short answer: With the judgment you judge you will be judged — get your act together before accusing.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 44:40 Someone. And then in Matthew 7:2 is that famous scripture judge not lest you be judged what judgment you judge you’re going to be judged yourself. With what standard of measurement and judgment you use. It’s going to be used back to you now how many would like to really understand this verse. How many think you understand this verse. Okay let’s see let’s get confirmation. Are you. Ready. In the Old Testament Deuteronomy 19 verses 18 and beyond. The Bible says. Due to false witnesses now let’s stop here.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 7:1-2 (NKJV)

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

— Matthew 7:1-2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:40

How was justice done?

▶ Watch this part (45:33)

Short answer: No less than two or three witnesses before a sentence.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 45:33 And the Old Testament you had to have no less than two witnesses and hopefully three before there could be any sentencing of a violation of the law are we aware of that. Are you aware that those witnesses had to be interrogated. To know that they were honest witnesses so their whole life was exposed. Those interrogators come and then they went back to when they were born and brought them up to that day to find out what kind of life they lived and so forth for them to be able to accuse someone of a crime they had to be honest witnesses you got the picture that’s why in the Bible you only see 10 people stoned.

▶ 46:33 Did you know that. The Bible is not filled with people being stoned did you know that half of the people stoned were innocent. Yeah they just brought false witnesses in that said they did something and those witnesses were never interrogated. To see if they were real witnesses or not. So in the Bible they weren’t going around stoning people. Every day are you there but in our mind we think that. Because. Because we got the picture here the witnesses have to be clean. And there has to be more than one. If they are lying as they thought to do unto their brother so shall you put evil away from you among you what they thought to be done to the one they accused it is done to them if they wanted as a false witness to kill that person that was innocent then they died.

▶ 47:47 And you know that changes the judicial system just like that yes. And that’s a problem in America with our judicial system we don’t have an honest judicial system at all. Others will hear and fear and from that time forth commit no more such evil among you I mean you know you hear that you’re going to think twice before you go to court. You’re going to think twice before you accuse anyone. Now. Your eyes shall not pity and this is a problem. Even in a jury the emotions get involved and they actually from emotions. From appearance of evidence. Not honest evidence from the appearance and the emotions get involved and they let criminals go.

▶ 48:44 That should not go and they actually have punished innocent people. Are you there. You can’t let your emotions get involved in judgment ladies. Amen. Now you give life for life eye for eye tooth for tooth hand for hand foot for foot okay whatever the sentence was in the Bible the you can be banned you can be beaten with a rod you can be fined okay and you can have capital punishment and be put to death all right that was the sentence of someone guilty they were it. All right now. Here you are a witness now you come before the the courts the the the courts were done in the cities at the gate judges were appointed in cities at the gate and the hard stuff was taken to the elders and then the real hard stuff was taken to the priest.

▶ 49:56 Am I right we’re not here to study that I’m just letting you know the arrangement all right so here you are in court the judge is there now you’re accusing somebody of raping your daughter all right. And your daughter is saying yeah I got raped. Now. You’re going to be interrogated. Your daughter’s going to be interrogated. And the third witness is going to be interrogated let’s say it’s mama because she’s emotionally involved and she’s going to protect her daughter. Isn’t that what mamas do yeah they could have killed the president and they’d see not my daughter no way that she couldn’t do that. So here they bring you in they start interrogating you now let me tell you this.

▶ 50:51 The law of punishment for the murderer being stoned being put to death is the same sentence for any immoral sex. Whether it’s same sex sex with animals sex outside of marriage being married sex outside of marriage not married. Incest whatever. It is all the same. Judgment also idolatry is the same sentence you worship other gods. You’re to be stoned you’re to be put to death also witchcraft. You’ve been messing around with the dark kingdom. Sorcery witchcraft. Kidnapping that’s why people say the Bible.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Deuteronomy 19:15 (NKJV)

“One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.

— Deuteronomy 19:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 45:33

Does the Bible promote slavery?

▶ Watch this part (51:48)

Short answer: No; kidnapping and selling someone was punished by death.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 51:48 Promotes slavery and it can’t because a kidnapper that forces someone. And sells them is put to death that ends slavery in the Bible are you there yeah and including the New Testament it’s very plain a lot of people believe things because they hear things on the internet and they hear things on the radio and they don’t really read the Bible and study it to really find out the issues do we. Yeah we’re too busy watching football and baseball and all this stuff to really get into the Bible and or some kind of soap opera or whatever. Also. False witness a false witness is to be killed if you’re caught lying in court you’re stoned. And then of course murder it’s all the same sentence now here they’re going to interrogate you.

▶ 52:43 Now you haven’t been out there raping anybody you haven’t been out there robbing anybody but you’ve been out there. Uh secretly. Uh. Worshipping demons and getting into witchcraft. Guess what. Or you. Have enslaved someone. See or you have been worshiping idols and it comes out guess what happens to you. You go to the same court for your crime. See with what judgment you judge you shall be what judge. So though you’re bringing in this person for violating one of the commandments you’re over here violating four.

▶ 53:40 So judge not what lest you be judged you better have your act together before you start accusing someone. And that’s why he said first get the two by four out of your eye then you can see clearly get the splinter out of the other person’s eye. Does that make sense. It’s not that we don’t judge we got a judge right we got a judge like we’re going to be judged also. Is that a big o me. Now do you understand that verse. Yes see Jesus understood the Bible. You can’t take one verse out of the Bible and make a religion or an issue out of it so. In Acts 7:24.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Exodus 21:16 (NKJV)

“He who kidnaps a man and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, shall surely be put to death.

— Exodus 21:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 51:48

Did Moses defend the oppressed?

▶ Watch this part (54:34)

Short answer: Seeing one suffer wrong, he defended and avenged him.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 54:34 Seeing one of them suffer wrong Moses. Defended that person suffering wrong being mistreated. And avenged him avenged him. That was oppressed and remember we learned last week that God sent us to deliver and set free those oppressed. And robbed. And he smote the egyptian and he thought sure the people of God would understand that hey he’s come to liberate them instead it was spread throughout Egypt that he’d murdered this guy and he had to run for his life God’s people can be our worst enemy. Now. Let’s go to plural Moses was singular the elders of the refuge city if a guy committed a crime.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Acts 7:24 (NKJV)

And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended and avenged him who was oppressed, and struck down the Egyptian.

— Acts 7:24 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 54:34

What was the city of refuge?

▶ Watch this part (55:28)

Short answer: A place a manslayer could run from the avenger of blood until the evidence was heard.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 55:28 He could run to the city of refuge and he was protected there by that city until the evidence showed that he needed to be brought out and punished okay that kept anyone from hastily judging I mean that’s a good that’s a good way to do things am I right yeah don’t let the hot heads act out. Okay they will deliver the planned or malice of a murderer that planted or just out of hatred murdered someone they’ll deliver him into the hands of thee. Say it with me avenger of blood avenger of blood thou shalt not avenge and then he says there’s an avenger. And the avenger was the closest male.

▶ 56:22 Relative to that person. It was their job to protect that family defend that family and who is. In every family the mail that God has said in there protect him the husband the father. And if you don’t protect your family. You’re not a very good Christian. You’re going to let somebody come in and rape your wife and rape your daughter and rob everything and just go I’ll turn the other cheek just you know do what you want just do what you want I’ll turn the other cheek that isn’t Bible folks. So men you have a big responsibility. The avenger.

▶ 57:15 So to save themselves from the avenger. Of that family coming after them they run to the city of refuge so all the facts can be gotten together all the witnesses can be interrogated and they have a court and they. Find proof and evidence and then sentence a person. Are you with me. Hallelujah. Now. Numbers 31:3 arm yourselves into war and go against the many nights and avenge the Lord upon midian now we have singular plural by the elders and the family now we got it as the nation the nation of Israel went to war with the minionites.

▶ 58:08 And we can sing these songs that we sung this morning and we can hear those verses that were well said this morning about battle. But let me tell you if you don’t get out there on the front lines nothing’s going to be done it’s just a song. It’s just a song. God used his people to avenge. Take care of matters. Now. In Joshua the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves up here they’re carrying out the vengeance of the Lord down here they’re avenging themselves upon their enemy that is trying to take their land and take their families and take their daughters and wives and so forth they avenged himself.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Numbers 35:11-12 (NKJV)

then you shall appoint cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer who kills any person accidentally may flee there. They shall be cities of refuge for you from the avenger, that the manslayer may not die until he stands before the congregation in judgment.

Is defending others right?

▶ Watch this part (59:05)

Short answer: Where would the world be if America hadn’t entered World War II?

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 59:05 Are you their church. Where would the world be today if America had not stepped into the second world war and defeated germany and japan we would be under the tyrannical government of the third right and the japanese empire. It took a war. Is that an amen. That’s a fact don’t let people disarm you with this doctrine of no vengeance and all that know where it’s supposed to be applied and how it is supplied. Okay a false balance is an abomination to the Lord but a just weight is his delight we get out of balance we’re going to harm ourselves we’re going to harm others we need to be balanced we you can’t take one verse.

Can you build doctrine on one verse?

▶ Watch this part (1:00:05)

Short answer: No; when filled with the Holy Ghost your sons and daughters prophesy.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:00:05 And make a religion or a verdict out of it do you understand that church you can’t take one verse in Ephesians 2:8 for by grace are you saved through faith and none of itself it is the gift of God not of works that you mentioned both you cannot eliminate everything Jesus said about salvation the other apostles said about salvation to latch onto that one verse can I hear an amen. You can’t do that. You got to get all the verses. You can’t take. A statement that’s not even in the Bible that tongues is a sign of the baptism of the Holy Ghost not even in the Bible. But because four out of five people in the Bible spoke in tongues when they got filled with the Holy Ghost the pentecostals and charismatic come up with that statement.

▶ 1:00:58 You can’t do that the Bible plainly says that when you get filled with the Holy Ghost your sons and your daughters shall what prophesy what about that one that’s in the Bible but it doesn’t say it’s a sign it just says that something is going to happen are you there now I’m spirit filled and so forth but let me tell you I had to wade through this marky doctrine back there. Are you with me. You can’t take one verse and you can’t make up a verse. You’ve got to be balanced. I am free from the blood of all men for I am not I have not hesitated to proclaim to you what the whole counsel of God church we’ve got to remember that you’ve got to balance out every verse with every other verse that’s connected with it then you have a total truth.

▶ 1:01:55 Amen and you cannot make up your own verses. Once saved always saved is not in the Bible you made up that verse. Judge righteous judgment okay he said judge not lest you be judged now we know what he was talking about right then he turns around and says when you judge judge righteous judgment so are we to judge yes are we to judge rightly is the Bible the right. Source to do all judgment absolutely. And should you accusing someone need to examine yourself and make sure you don’t have some things you need to change yeah that changes everything folks.

▶ 1:02:53 Are you glad you came to church today. Don’t judge by appearance I don’t care how they look. Mr. Barnes approved of a concrete layer back there when. When we were building things oh that guy he’s the one I had three of them come out so I took the one mr barnes said well that’s why the electricity’s on the outside of the barn that guy didn’t know what he’s doing barnes judged by appearance instead of by the ability. To lay the concrete right. I got to get him before he leaves you know I got to get him good. You can’t go by. Appearance appoint judges in all towns to judge righteous judgment do not deny justice show partiality or take bribes and we have to stop there our times run out.

▶ 1:03:59 But are we to have judges in towns. Does it start with the family yes if the family can’t handle it they take it to the local judges if that can happen you take it to the higher judges and then the higher judges and then the supreme court all right in this nation so government’s important and don’t let everybody people tell you that Satan’s in charge of government God is in charge of government he invented government he invented by law he invented it amen. The reason you don’t want to talk about politics is because you’re wrong and you know it. That’s true when you can’t answer somebody you lash out at them that’s what I get on facebook all the time they can’t answer my question so they call me a false prophet and they call me names and they call trump names and uh they call biden names it works both ways and I say let’s cut out the name calling and everything and let’s get to the facts let’s talk about issues and the number one issue is Christians do you want a socialist nation or do you want a free enterprise nation that’s the big issue.

▶ 1:05:10 Amen. And we’ve got to fight. And religious freedom is another big one they want to take away our religious freedom now listen in closing. With the people on facebook. This is serious. Business. If we would have allowed the spirit to know last week you would have heard this prophecy. Okay. Jesus wept. Do you know why he went. And I gotta make it short. He didn’t weep because everybody else was weeping. He didn’t weep because he loved Lazarus like the scriptures that people said.

Short answer: Martha and Mary said He could have prevented the past; He can also cure your present problem.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:06:03 The reason he went. Are you listening to me is because both Martha. And Mary and the people said this statement have you had been here. Lazarus wouldn’t have died. Three times. If you had been here. Lazarus wouldn’t have. Died we live in the past. With Jesus instead of living in the presence. That’s why Jesus went he groaned he was angry he was irritated he was troubled because these people wanted to go back to the past well if I never become a drug addict I wouldn’t be here to if I never become a prostitute I wouldn’t be here if I never become a thief and a criminal I would be no.

▶ 1:07:06 Yes Jesus could have prevented the past. But he can also cure your present problem and that’s why Jesus wept is they they went back to the past and this this man was dead four days and stinky and they just wrote it out of their mind that there’s no hope because they lived in the past and how many of us live in the past. He is the God of the present Jesus told him I’m gonna raise Lazarus from the grave and then listen three times he said I’m gonna raise the landers from the grave and they’re just not dead four days these days you know if you’d have been here earlier this wouldn’t happen. If we didn’t invite Jesus in earlier or maybe we hadn’t been left him but let me tell you wherever your present condition is you on facebook and you here today God Jesus is the God of the present and he can change your situation if you humble yourself and pray and ask him he will repent and admit you’re wrong he will do what you wish he had done back there.

▶ 1:08:25 Amen. Amen. And that’s why Jesus wept. And as we sing this song I challenge you. If you want Jesus to meet you today forget about the path I don’t care how bad it was if he could read a rotting corpse from the dead a brain that’s decaying a heart that has stopped feeding for four days the gas is building up in that body and he can restore him and back into a healthy human being my God church he can solve every problem you got amen. That’s what he went bring Jesus into your present day and as they sing this song I I I invite you to kneel before the king of kings and just present your case to him and let him resurrect you into a new life amen.

▶ 1:09:31 So if you want let’s meet if you can kneel there’s cushions on the chair you can use them if you can’t kneel stand if you don’t want a nail do something and let’s sing this and let Jesus come to us. Here I am. May I know.

▶ 1:10:28 Jesus. Me. Is. Let him touch you.

▶ 1:11:24 Let him. Here I am waiting. Here I. Am. May I know. Jesus.

▶ 1:12:34 Is. To the is. Inside. Foreign.

▶ 1:13:52 For meeting with us in our situation today thank you Lord. Thank you. Uh. And thank you. Oh.

▶ 1:15:08 Beautiful. Amen. Foreign.

▶ 1:16:20 Oh Lord. Jesus. Lord we close this service on that note. When we give you our all. You give us your all and you are what makes the difference. Thank you Jesus for being who you are. Thank you that you have the patience to work with us. The forgiveness that people giving us. And Lord the hope that we have in you. To finish the good work you’ve begun.

▶ 1:17:20 Can we just say I love you. Jesus. Don’t that just sound beautiful let’s do it again I love you Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen. Because I love you I’ll put up with the rest of the body of Christ. And driving me now because I love you. I’m going to love them all you can find your seat as. My would.

Short answer: Bring God to people; brochures are printed for outreach.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:20:04 Mountainside ministries at some point we’ve got to bring God to people I’m reminded all the time every day unless the Lord builds the house they labor in vain that build it the Lord building the house is us bringing the Lord to people and we do that by bringing the word of God and the presence of God to people now we’ve got to go to their homes where they’re at we’ve got to find a way to get bring God to them and say here is the Lord here is his word and they have to decide are they going to reject it or accept and it takes a load off of you because it’s not you anymore oh I’ve got to have a I’ve got to be some charismatic person or I’ve got to be the most friend no it’s the word of God amen it will change.

▶ 1:21:03 And so I asked you to find some pamphlets uh brochures and I we found all these brochures and they all have powerful messages about God I was going out I was out recently in our community and I tell you a lot of people have already heard the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord the roman road the whole of sin the weight of the sin and death but nobody is growing. They’re all a fish on the boat. And they’re not getting cleaned up. And that has to happen. And this church has got to be a part of that yeah. Fish gotta get back to land. We understand the fish is in a different kingdom they’re in the water we get them out of the water they’ve got to get back to land and grow.

▶ 1:22:00 It’s not good but you get the concept. So we’ve got to get the word I encourage you to come up I’ve printed some of these read them yourself figure out what you’re watching one you like if you want to make one prettier you all give you the document you can make it look prettier and we’ll start printing them out we got to go to our door I’m going to post them on the website we’re going to figure out a way to get them on facebook we’ve got to get it out to our community and then stephanie says michael you know what you can do you can do this and I said we can get that to everybody in the world. Okay it’s limitless what we can do with God’s word but we’ve got to get the word out we’ve got to be stirred by this event that happened yesterday not to just pray about it we’ve got to do something we’ve got to bring God to people.

▶ 1:22:57 So I encourage you I am sir I encourage you those were yesterday yesterday if you weren’t there yesterday be stirred to bring God to people. Let’s pray that we would have a desire from the Holy Spirit to do that let’s bow our heads right now God we come before you Jesus God when we pray as a church body Jesus God Lord that we would not just be concerned about ourselves that they were tasked with the Lord we would turn our eyes to you and your kingdom and what you want to get done God Lord you said when you were 12 years old I must be about my father’s business God and my father’s business is to get the word out of the people Jesus please destroy your church God start your church Jesus to bring you to people God please.

▶ 1:23:51 I pray God give us a desire to do that to fulfill your scriptures Jesus we ask you bless the rest of this day and God Lord again stir it up in our hearts please we bless you we honor you we thank you everyone said amen amen you’re dismissed thank you for joining us God. Bless.
