Pastor David G. Kincer explains Bible sin from Cain and Abel: God rejected Cain’s evil works, not merely his produce offering. He distinguishes shadow, spiritual, wise and civil laws, names rejecting Christ as the hell-sending spiritual law, shows sin hurts neighbors more than it “hurts” God, and closes with Joseph’s refusal and Job’s repentance that turns captivity.

Why did God reject Cain’s offering if produce was acceptable?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: Genesis 4: Cain’s produce offering vs Abel’s flock; God respected Abel and his offering, not Cain. Leviticus 5:7–11 shows flour from the ground can be a sin offering, so rejection was not because fruit of the ground was invalid. Shadow offerings never took away sin (Hebrews 10:4); they pointed to Jesus the Lamb. Isaiah 1: God wants people to stop evil and learn to do good.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 We are going to hit the subject of understanding Bible sin. And. The word sin is first used in Genesis 4 verses three through seven Cain brought of the fruit of the ground and offering unto the Lord. Okay, build a little altar made a stone put it on it offered it as a sacrifice Abel brought of his flock and it’s fat he built a little altar cut the lamb up and burnt it on that altar the Lord had respect unto Abel and his offering not just able but the offering but to Cain and his offering God had no respect he wouldn’t even turn to look at it okay.

▶ 1:00 So. We’ve got to ask ourselves. Why. God had no respect in. Leviticus 5:7 through 11 it tells us that the fruit of the ground was an acceptable offering for sin. Okay. Leviticus 5:7 to 11 if he be not able to bring a lamb or two turtle doves or two young pigeons under the Lord for a sin offering and for a burnt offering then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a what sin offering so most people read the story and they think it’s because Cain brought the fruit of the ground that God rejected him but we see here that that was an acceptable.

▶ 2:09 Offering for sin not only that but we showed you the shadow laws only represented spiritual truths they were never a life-changing law the offering of lambs the offering of instance all of those shadow laws had no impact an empowerment on your life directly they pointed to the real thing see my shadow leads to me but my shadows not me and so the Bible caused them shadow laws alright and so shadow laws were never.

▶ 2:56 Never meant to be a life-changing law they only illustrated spiritual truths Hebrews 10 for it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away said so Abel was offering a lamb and the fat but God said that can’t take away sin it’s the lamb that that lamb pointed to that took away sin Jesus and John says behold the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world so for decades for millenniums the illustration was there pointing to Christ coming and dying for the sins of the world that was the truth that set able free and anybody in the Old Testament freed.

▶ 3:52 Following the shadow to the real thing we look back on Jesus they look forward to are you with me okay even in the Old Testament in Isaiah 1 verse 11 to what purpose is your sacrifices to me says the Lord I don’t delight in a blood of bullock’s and the blood of lambs and nor of goats see even in the Old Testament he said this is not what they’re for he said bring no more worthless sacrifice and then he says what he really wants them to do stop doing evil and learn to do good to do well that’s what God its purpose from the beginning was in First John 3:8.

Scripture (NKJV)

Genesis 4:3-5 (NKJV)

And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.

Leviticus 5:7-11 (NKJV)

‘If he is not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring to the LORD, for his trespass which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it completely. Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering. And he shall offer the second as a burnt offering according to the prescribed manner. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin which he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him. ‘But if he is not able to bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he who sinned shall bring for his offering one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, nor shall he put frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

Isaiah 1:11-17 (NKJV)

“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?” Says the LORD. “I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, Or of lambs or goats. “When you come to appear before Me, Who has required this from your hand, To trample My courts? Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood. “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.

Why was Cain “of the wicked one”?

▶ Watch this part (4:44)

Short answer: First John 3:8: he who commits sin is of the Devil; the Devil sinned from the beginning and enticed Eve and Cain. First John 3:11–12: Cain was of the wicked one and slew Abel because his own works were evil and Abel’s righteous—God rejected Cain’s lifestyle, not merely the type of sacrifice.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:44 He that commits sin is of the Devil for the Devil sinned from the beginning. The Devil enticed Eve to sin and eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and the Devil came and enticed Cain to sin. Okay the Devil sin from what the beginning he is getting people to sin and he is the source of their sin they listened to him and to listen to God okay he said that sounds crazy well First John 3:11 this is the message you heard from the beginning from where the beginning where did the Devil sin at the beginning okay this is the message you heard from the beginning that we should love one another not as Cain here he is who was of the wicked one.

▶ 5:49 See why was he of the wicked one because he did what Satan tempted him to do. Ha. And so he slew his brother and why did he kill his brother Abel because his own works were evil. It wasn’t a sacrifice at all as he was living an evil life a harmful life he was harming other people and so God had no respect to him or his offering even though his offering was acceptable. And God did not accept cane or his offering and a lot of American Christians come in and we go through the motions of christianity we sing some hymns if you’re in the spirit-filled arena you lift your hands and you shout you sing it to other things and we but our lifestyle may not be backing up the sacrifice.

Scripture (NKJV)

1 John 3:8 (NKJV)

Scripture (NKJV)

1 John 3:11-12 (NKJV)

For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.

— 1 John 3:11-12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:44

What is God really looking for—ritual or lifestyle?

▶ Watch this part (6:57)

Short answer: God looks for lifestyle. Americans want acceptance while keeping their own lifestyle and invented worship; when God honors the righteous they get mad, verbally attack, and make laws to shut righteous speech—because their works are evil but they want to be accepted as righteous.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:57 And what’s God really looking for the lifestyle. He gives us these principles to meet with him and and get strong in him but it’s the lifestyle he’s looking for so. Cain killed Abel because his own works were evil and Abel’s works were right and it made kane mad. You see Cain wanted to be accepted when he wasn’t doing right and good and he got mad because God honored the right just man able and dishonored. Disrespected Cain the evildoer this is what we got going on in America in America people want to come to God with their own lifestyle and they want to come with their own principles of worshiping and serving him and God.

What is sin, and which laws send you to hell?

▶ Watch this part (8:05)

Short answer: First John 3:4: sin is the transgression of the law. Shadow laws never brought stoning; under grace we are not under shadows. Spiritual laws (pray, lift hands, tithe) matter, but you do not burn in hell for missing them. One spiritual law sends to hell: rejecting Jesus Christ after hearing and being drawn (John 3). Wise laws avoid evil and save for hard times.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 8:05 Does not honor that and so they get mad at the people who do. And so they verbally beat up the people who follow righteousness. They make laws that hinder their speech we’re supposed to have freedom of speech in America but these people make laws to shut us up why because their works are evil but they want to be accepted as though they were righteous are you there. You can’t dream up your own religion especially Bible religion you got to go over the Bible first John 34 sin is the transgression of the law now I’ve told you before there are civil laws in the Old Testament there are spiritual laws in the Old Testament there are wise laws in the Old Testament and there are shadow laws okay.

▶ 9:13 Sin is not the transgression of a shadow law nobody in the Bible ever got stoned or punished for not keeping a shadow law nor and so when the Bible says were not under law but under grace we’re not under this shadow law or under the law that the shadows pointed to Jesus Christ. Spiritual laws when God asks us to pray that’s a spiritual law God is spirit when we pray and we talked to God that’s a spiritual law if you don’t pray you’re not going to go to hell for it. And I would that men everywhere lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting lifting up her hands is a Bible acknowledgement of a principle of God if you don’t lift your hands you’re not going to go to hell for it but you are violating a spiritual law if you don’t tithe you’re violating a spiritual law the tithe is the Lord and we’re supposed to give him back his tenth and if you don’t do it you’re not going to burn in hell for that.

▶ 10:22 There’s no scripture that says you burn in hell for that there’s one spiritual law that you will go to hell for and that is rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ when you heard of him and you don’t believe on him for John 3. They’re condemned because they haven’t believed on the Lord Jesus Christ that means they’ve been preached to and the Holy Ghost has come and convicted them and drawing them and they rejected him and then in Hebrews he makes it clear once you’ve tasted of the heavenly gift and made partakers of that and you turn it’s almost impossible for you to come back now it says it’s impossible but the cross overcomes all the impossibilities in the Bible it does and I can prove it to you that’s another sermon okay let’s see when you reject Christ after you’re taught him and after he comes of that Holy Spirit come to convict you and draws you and you reject him and you don’t want him you can do it’s a hell sentence.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 John 3:4 (NKJV)

Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

— 1 John 3:4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:05
Scripture (NKJV)

John 3:18 (NKJV)

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Whose name has authority to forgive sins?

▶ Watch this part (11:25)

Short answer: He says Allah doesn’t come close to Jesus; Jesus’ name has authority in heaven and earth to forgive sins. Christians should use the name of Jesus because it drives the community nuts and has power. Work six days is a wise law—not hell for not working, but you won’t eat.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 11:25 Allah. Doesn’t even come close to Jesus all the other Jesus is the one his name is Jesus and that the name everybody is quarreling and fighting about because that’s the name that God give authority to over everything in heaven and in earth and authority to forgive sins that’s the name and Christians should be using that name. God knows who he is God is Jesus you just say Jesus because it drives the community nuts when you use the name of Jesus so use it that name of Jesus has power. So a wise law is the wise man sees the evil and avoids it you see the wise man saves up for a difficult time but the fool spends all he had see those are wise laws.

Can people without Bible law still know right from wrong?

▶ Watch this part (12:28)

Short answer: Romans 5:13 and Acts 10:34: whether no law or bad laws, harming innocent people is still wrong. God is no respecter of persons; those who never heard of Christ but live right can still go to heaven. Cain’s works were evil—that built-in recognition of right and wrong is God’s voice in individuals.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 12:28 Six days shalt thou work—that’s a wise law to work you’re not going to go to hell if you don’t work but you’re not going to eat. Romans 5:13. Until the law sin was in the world. But sin is not imputed where there is no law. Did you catch that the log didn’t come to Moses came along. So how could God punish Cain and reject Cain when Cain didn’t have the law. And that a good question yeah. To understand the Bible folks that takes a lot of hard work and the Holy Spirit you know you’re not going to get this watching sports on tv you got to be watching those scriptures and then God illuminates so we must ask ourselves why did God punish Cain and not accept the fruit of the ground offering.

▶ 13:44 Okay. No laws or bad laws harmful laws it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any law Bible law and if you have been taught bad laws harmful laws you still know that harming innocent people is wrong. Now I’m going to back up that statement with scripture I don’t care if you have a they say our nation’s a nation of laws and this woman in kentucky should have obeyed the law well why don’t obama pay the law why don’t governor brown obey the law what at the mayor of san francisco obey the law why don’t the justice supreme court bay obey the law. Oh.

▶ 14:40 Yeah. Folks whether the law is bad or where there is no law you still know that harming innocent people is wrong Acts 10:34. God is no respecter of persons but in every nation he that fears God and remember the fear of the Lord the Bible says is to hate evil and to depart from evil he that hates harming others and departs from harming others and does what is right is acceptable with God so people in nations that have never heard the scriptures can still go to heaven. If they.

▶ 15:34 Live right. They never heard of Christ they can still go to heaven Cain’s works were evil. That’s why God did not respect him and that’s why God did not accept him you see them two words used here they were used back in Genesis for God did not respect kane because his works were evil and God would not accept him or his sacrifice. Now. Every nation people and people when I ever since I’ve been a young Christian well what happens these people never heard the gospel well this is what happens if they do right how do they know to do right well Romans tells us Romans to 14 Gentiles without the law are a law unto themselves their conscience say the word conscience bearing witness and their thoughts their mind that’s where the conscience talks to you through it’s not some.

▶ 16:47 Voices out there. It’s that built in recognition of right and wrong that God put in every individual and most of us when we say God spoke to me we’re talking about our conscience God speaks through the conscience to do right. Accusing or excusing one another you see what’s going to excuse them or what’s going to excuse accused him. Their recognition of what is right and they didn’t do it and they did wrong you see and when will they be accused and the day God judged the secrets of men by Jesus Christ. So these people that never heard of Christ these people that never got to read and study the Bible like you if they follow their conscious and do right and treat others right they will be there with you that’s Bible and God is a just God is that justice yes that’s justice my statement no laws or bad laws you still know that harming innocent people is wrong because your conscience tells it’s wrong but there’s something bigger.

What one law sums up the whole Old Testament?

▶ Watch this part (18:06)

Short answer: He says the totality of the law is summed up in loving neighbor as yourself—if you don’t want adultery against your spouse or someone abusing your child, don’t do it to others. Pleading the blood won’t erase living in that light when God is light.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 18:06 The law is summed up it the totality the whole truth of the law is summed up in this one long this one law sums up the whole Old Testament. Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no harm to a neighbor therefore love is the what fulfillment of the law so why is the law there to tell us not to hurt others and not to hurt ourselves so when you have love you don’t hurt others and this is the kicker when you don’t want to be robbed and you go rob someone. You know it’s wrong because you don’t want to be treated that way.

▶ 19:04 Are you that see. If you don’t want your spouse committing adultery on you or some guy or some girl having sex with your child and then you go out and you have sex outside your marriage with somebody’s daughter or somebody’s son you know it’s wrong because you didn’t want that for yourself are you there. When you don’t want a couple of three are gay guys beating you up stopping you into the ground physically hurting you and then you go and you physically hurt somebody else you know you’re wrong why because you didn’t want that to happen to you so you shouldn’t do it to other people and I told you before when I had a vision of the judgment day people were standing there saying nothing because they knew they were wrong when they did the wrong and God was right and everybody was silent there was no argument why cuz they were a witness unto themselves that they knew they were wrong when they did it.

▶ 20:32 You. And some Christians think they complete the blood you’re not going to plead anything up there when you’re in that light and God is light you’re near in that light it just exposes everything you are and everybody just stood there with their head down knowing they were guilty and they knew they knew they were guilty is my point. They were their own condemn er and it gomes in this love your neighbor as yourself you don’t want people to do bad things to you and mistreat you then don’t do it to them. So America’s bad laws the supreme court has defined that did define that blacks were not human and it could be made slaves that’s a bad law.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Romans 13:9-10 (NKJV)

For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Are unjust human laws still binding, and what about abortion?

▶ Watch this part (21:29)

Short answer: Real Americans didn’t obey unjust slave law despite the Supreme Court. He calls same-sex marriage and abortion unjust like mistreatment of Blacks and Indians—harming the innocent. Separation of church and state used to rule Bible and Jesus out of government schools teaching humanism, socialism and evolution; the Constitution doesn’t give federal government rights over education, marriage and abortion.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 21:29 Real Americans didn’t obey that law it didn’t matter if the supreme court back that lola real Americans who did not want to be a slave and being mistreated like that they stood up when it was unpopular to stand up and blacks can say all they want but let me tell you there’s a lot of white folks back there that set free through their underground railroad and all that a lot of slaves okay there were a lot of white folks that didn’t get in to that bad law are you with me indians on reservations and no citizenship that was horrible you think the blacks were treated bad read the history about indians they were slaughtered. But Americans who understood the word of God that if you don’t want to be mistreated you don’t mistreat others period they stood for what was right above the bad law.

▶ 22:34 Same-sex marriage was just agreed upon by the supreme court. That’s ridiculous I mean if you got any knowledge of science you know that’s stupid if you went to school and learn anything about thinking you know that that’s just dumb. Okay I don’t need how to get into the details of it abortion is a contraceptive we’re in a high technical. Civilization we got all kinds of birth control remedies and these people don’t have enough self-control to not have a baby to begin with and then the supreme court says yes it’s ok to use abortion as a contraceptive and anybody.

▶ 23:26 That knows that it’s in like the blacks were treated unjustly and the indians were treated unjustly that this baby is being treated unjustly and the American Christian is supposed to stand up for justice but they got us so afraid to speak now that we just stay in our little four walls and talk to each other and pat ourselves on the back wow instead of getting out there and fighting the fight for justice well there’s a world around you going to hell and people are being mistreated and people are being abused and it’s through bad laws and we know that these laws are bad because they want harm other people innocent people. Anyway they took the Bible out of government schools.

▶ 24:29 They said there’s a separation of church and state the supreme court rule Bible Jesus out of public schools government schools you see they’re not public schools anymore because if they were public schools we’re part of the public and we have the right to be taught the Bible. So their government schools they’re really humanists socially schools because that’s what’s taught in the government schools is humanism socialism and evolutionism which is humanism humanism and evolution it is go together and we send our kids to it they get brainwashed by these people and we wonder what happened to our children. It’s a bad law number one the government the federal government especially should not be involved in these things nowhere does the constitution give the government the right to rule over education marriage.

Whom does sin actually hurt—God or people?

▶ Watch this part (25:29)

Short answer: Job 35:6–8: sin doesn’t dismantle God on high; wickedness affects a man such as you. Stealing, killing, dishonoring parents and sexual immorality hurt people; righteousness blesses neighbors’ safety. First Samuel 2:25: if one man sins against another, God will judge; if against the Lord, who will intercede? Jesus intercedes when we sin against neighbors.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 25:29 Abortion and all the rest no we’re in Job 35 verse 6 through 8 if you sin. Job 35 6 through 8 what do you accomplished against God. He is high up there on high, okay these people are sinning he’s just here he’s not up there falling apart you didn’t do nothing to him he’s God. Or what do you do to him if you are righteous what do you give him or what does it receive from your hand okay you do what’s right or you do what’s bad. What’s that got to do with God. Your wickedness affects a man such as you you see when I steal I hurt somebody.

▶ 26:29 When I kill I take someone’s life. See when I dishonor parents my parents I hurt them. When I commit sexual immorality I hurt the person that I committed sexual immorality with the parents of that person my own parents and if I’m a father I hurt my own kids I. Hurt my family. Amen and your righteousness the son of man when I do right I am a contributor to my neighbors lifestyle and my neighbor safety and my neighbors security I’m not going to abuse his daughter or his son I’m not going to abuse his wife or if I’m a woman here and uh the husband I’m not going to do that to my neighbor because it’s not right and so I actually am a blessing to my neighbor those of live a live within my community because I do what’s right they don’t have to fear me I’m not going to steal from then I’m not going to go and beat them up I’m not going to steal and and and all these other things because what I do what’s right and I know what’s right because I don’t want it done to me First Samuel 2:25.

▶ 27:59 Makes it even plainer if one man sins against another against means opposing contrary to another. Contrary because that person don’t want to be treated that way all right God will judge him that’s a hill sin we’re talking about the judgment day we’re talking about God judging him now and if he doesn’t straighten out God will judge him for eternity God’s going to judge him but if a man sins against the Lord so we can sin against what man and we can sin against who the Lord oh. Who will intercede for him who intercedes when we sin against our neighbor. Who’s the intercessor. Jesus Christ Hebrews come on Jesus Christ he intercedes us he intercedes for constantly first John he intercedes for us but if you sin against God who’s going to intercede for you.

Scripture (NKJV)

Job 35:6-8 (NKJV)

If you sin, what do you accomplish against Him? Or, if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to Him? If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand? Your wickedness affects a man such as you, And your righteousness a son of man.

How did Joseph refuse sin against God and neighbor?

▶ Watch this part (29:03)

Short answer: Joseph’s brothers sinned against him; Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce him and he said it would be sin against God—also against Potiphar, children and her parents. Solution: Job 42:5—hearing becomes seeing; repent; God accepted Job and turned his captivity when he prayed for friends. Gospel: turn from bondage and God forgives and sets free.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 29:03 Now let’s understand sinning against God remember Joseph. He was abused by his brothers and sold in the slavery and Reuben when they got busted said didn’t I tell you guys that we shouldn’t sin against Joseph see they opposed Joseph they sold him into slavery told the father he was dead all right so they sinned against Joseph he goes down to Potiphar hes soda Potiphar and while Potiphar is out of the house and the servants are out of the house his wife tries to seduce him and what was Joseph sensor I. Can’t do this because it would be a horrible thing that I sinned against God. Now not only did he sin because God says thou shalt not commit adultery you see thou shalt not do no harm to your neighbor and so he’s contrary to God and he’s also singing against Potiphar Potiphar don’t want people having sexual relationships with his wife and part of his children they don’t want some stranger coming in and having sex with their mother come on and the parents of that woman they don’t want the scandal than all the rest so.

▶ 30:31 He would have sinned against Herod I mean Potiphar and against his children and he would have sinned against God because God said love your neighbor as yourself don’t do it are you there. Alleluia. So the way to get that correct it is what you got to go back to number one and get that thing corrected get that intercessors working for you here’s the solution to sin. Job 42:5 Job said I have heard of you I’ve heard of you God by the hearing of the year. But now my eyes are open I see. And that’s what the scriptures do they open our understanding.

▶ 31:26 That’s what the spirit does it opens our understanding and it was Satan doing all that stuff to Job and Job was showing the world that somebody would serve him no matter what happened but Job was okay until he started blaming God he says now I repent and dust and ashes and when he repented what happened the Lord accepted what was the word back in Genesis for acceptance the Lord accepted Job when he repented and the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends see when Job entered into that sin Satan was part of his thinking. He was under the captivity of sin the captivity of Satan and when he repented God accepted him and turned his captivity.

▶ 32:24 Lo, and that’s the gospel message. We can do some stupid things and rise up and turn our back on them and God will accept us he’ll forgive us and he will set us free from that bondage of alcohol that bondage of drugs at bondage of sexual permissiveness set us free he will turn our captivity.

There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

Job 42:5-10 (NKJV)

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.” So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD commanded them; for the LORD had accepted Job. And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ after he has been preached and the Holy Ghost has convicted and drawn you.

Because it harms other innocent people—bad laws mistreat people while the world around you goes to hell.

If you sin, what do you accomplish against Him? Or, if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to Him? If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand? Your wickedness affects a man such as you, And your righteousness a son of man.
