In “Two Mothers of Revelation Part 2,” Pastor David G. Kincer continues his teaching on the harlot and the beast of Revelation 17, saying Babylon is not the Catholic Church and that the waters, nations and tongues describe a spiritual condition found in every nation. He says believing in Jesus and using his name while living your own way is spiritual fornication, explains John 8:41, and says Jesus calls his people, who are still here on earth, to come out of false religion and come to him. He closes with a Mother’s Day word to mothers and fathers about leading children well.

What does the Bible mean by Babylon, the “destroying mountain”?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: He says Babylon is called a destroying mountain in Jeremiah: a nation, a group of people destroying other people for all the evil done in Zion, which he says is the church, the people of God. He says they lead astray not just Christians but people who do not believe in Jesus, and that the shepherds in Jeremiah 50:6 lead people astray on the mountains, serving God the way they should not, so that they forget their resting place, Jesus Christ.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 Shepherds cause my people, in Jeremiah 50:6, to go astray on the what? Mountains. And what are they doing on the mountains? Serving God the way they shouldn’t be serving. And they forget their resting place. Who is our resting place? Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 51:24: “I’m against Babylon, O destroying mountain.” [Editor’s note: the words “destroying mountain” are in Jeremiah 51:25; verse 24 speaks of the evil done in Zion.] So Babylon is referred to as a what? Destroying mountain. A nation, a group of people that are destroying other people for all the evil done in Zion. Zion is the church, the people of God, and destroying all the earth. They don’t just lead Christians astray and people who believe in Jesus astray; they lead people who don’t believe in Jesus astray. Are you there? Hallelujah.

Jeremiah 50:6 (NKJV)

Is Babylon in the book of Revelation the Catholic Church?

▶ Watch this part (1:01)

Short answer: He says it is not the Catholic Church at all, and that he has debated this with fundamentalist pastors. He says he has met good Catholics, good Baptists and good Pentecostals, and lousy ones too, after ministering in almost every denomination.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:01 It’s not the Catholic Church at all. And I’ve debated this with my fundamentalist pastors and all the rest. It’s got nothing to do. I have met good Catholics, folks. I have met good Baptists. I have met good Pentecostals. I’ve met a lot of good people in a lot of churches that I’ve ministered in. I’ve ministered in almost every denomination there is. And I’ve also met lousy ones. Ain’t that right? Their lifestyle and their own way of serving God just really comes up short.

Who are the called, chosen and faithful with the Lamb?

▶ Watch this part (1:40)

Short answer: He says the ten spiritual horns make war with the Lamb for one hour, and the Lamb defeats them with those who are called, chosen and faithful. He says that is us: Jesus called us to himself, he chose us when we accepted his sacrifice, and we are faithful when we keep pursuing him and living a lifestyle that pleases him.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:40 There’s ten horns are going to be ten kings for one hour with the beast. Now, obviously, these are ten spiritual horns, and for one hour they’re going to make war with the Lamb. And the Lamb is going to defeat him. And he has some people following with him, and defeats him with him, and they are called “chosen and what? Faithful.” “With him are those called, chosen, and faithful.” Didn’t Jesus call us to himself?

▶ 2:22 Yes. And when we accepted his sacrifice on the cross for our sins, admitted we were sinners and accepted forgiveness and deliverance from our sins because of him, did he choose us? Yes. And when we follow up and we pursue him and learn of him and keep living a lifestyle, we keep growing in a lifestyle pleasing him, isn’t that being faithful? Yeah, that’s us. So if that’s true, we’re still here.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 17:12-14 (NKJV)

“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

— Revelation 17:12-14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:42 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Will Christians be taken out of the earth before the difficult times?

▶ Watch this part (3:06)

Short answer: He says the theory has Christians going out of this earth before these events, but he says he has shown in every chapter that we are still here. He says a God who could only forgive sins but could not keep us when difficult times come would be worthless, and a powerful God can also deliver us from the influence and control of sin.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:06 I’m just letting it sink in. You see, the theory has got us going out of this earth before all this happens. But I’ve showed you in every chapter where we’re still here. And it makes sense. Jesus can only save us and forgive us of sins, and he cannot keep us when the difficult times come? What kind of God is that? He’s a worthless God. A powerful God can not only save us from hell and forgive us for sins, he can deliver us from the influence and control of sin. That is a God that’s got some worth, amen. And Revelation shows us that God has got a people that show in their lifestyle and serving him his power.

What happens to the harlot and the beast in Revelation 17?

▶ Watch this part (4:03)

Short answer: He says the ten horns hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire, which he says is obviously spiritual since no human being could do that. He says the ten will destroy the beast themselves, and the spiritual beast goes into perdition, a spiritual place of destruction, as Matthew 25:41 speaks of eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:03 The ten horns hate the [unclear], make her desolate, naked, eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. Now, I’d like to see a human being do that. You see, obviously this is what? Spiritual. And see, these ten are going to destroy the beast themselves, and it’s obviously spiritual. The beast shall go into perdition. Matthew 25:41 says there’s an eternal fire prepared for the devil and his what? Angels, you see? And so she’s going to go there, or the beast is going to go there; it’s talking about the beast. So that spiritual beast is going to go to a spiritual place of destruction.

What do the waters in Revelation 17 mean, and is it about the United Nations or Europe?

▶ Watch this part (4:46)

Short answer: He says the waters where the harlot sits are people, multitudes, nations and tongues, so trying to match the beast to the United Nations or a group of European nations misses it. He says this beast is in every nation, about 190 of them, and that God has no prejudice or preference toward any nation.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:46 Now listen to this. The waters where the [unclear] sits are what? People, multitudes, nations, and tongues. So when they want to go try to get the United Nations, or, you know, the Atlantic Treaty Organization, or the ten European nations, or whatever they were that bound together over there in Europe to get the euro, their own money, and all that, they’re missing it. This beast — and this is in every nation. There is 190— approximately 190 nations. They’re in every one of them. Can I hear an amen?

▶ 5:34 But the theorists have us pondering these little packs of nations, and they always take the industrial nations. Well, you know, God loves Uganda. God loves Paraguay. God loves all these nations everywhere on the earth. He has no prejudice. He has no preference. All are the same. And every nation and every people and every language is important to him. Can I hear an amen? But they don’t make the news. It’s these bigger nations that make the news.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 17:15 (NKJV)

Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

— Revelation 17:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:47 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What does “tongues” mean in Revelation 17, and what are the two mothers?

▶ Watch this part (6:10)

Short answer: He says tongues means languages, and wherever there is a language this beast is right there, because it is a spiritual condition, not a particular nation. He calls it false religion, saying this is the right way when it is not, which is why the feminine illustration is used, and says that of the two mothers, one is really good and one is not so hot. He adds that the kingdom of God is itself a culture and a tradition we are to learn and keep.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:10 So the prophetic theorists use them. Now, there’s 6,000— over 6,000, about 6,500 languages in the earth. You see, this word tongues means languages. And so wherever there’s a language, where is this beast and this— They’re right there. You see, it is a spiritual condition that John is talking about. Can I hear an amen? It’s saying this is the right way, and it’s not. It’s saying they believe in Jesus, and they don’t believe in Jesus. It’s false religion. That’s why the woman is used. That’s why the feminine illustration is used. And when we identify with that, we’re committing spiritual fornication. Amen. So these two mothers, one is really good and one is not so hot. Hallelujah.

▶ 7:13 And there’s just as many cultures as there is languages in this world. As Juliana found out, she went back to where I came from and found out, “Boy, things are different back there.” I said, “Yeah, you got it. Us Southerners, we have our own way of doing things.” But how many, you know, some things in cultures need to change. See, not everything in a culture should be kept. And how many know the kingdom of God is a culture, a tradition, and we’re to learn that and keep that tradition and culture?

Did Jesus give Satan authority over the nations?

▶ Watch this part (7:48)

Short answer: He says that when Satan showed Jesus all the kingdoms in the third temptation and offered them for worship, Satan was lying, because Jesus is the Lord of the whole earth and Satan can do nothing without Jesus’s permission. He says Jesus had all the authority but delegated the nations to Satan, a limited delegated authority.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:48 All right. “The woman is the great city which rules over the kings of the earth.” Now, the Bible tells us in the garden that Jesus was tempted by Satan. And the third temptation, he came and showed him all the kingdoms of the earth and said, “Hey, these kingdoms are given to me to give to whomsoever I want. And if you’ll worship me, I’ll give you the whole earth. You’ll be the king of the earth, and all the prosperity and everything that goes with it.” Well, Satan was lying there, because Jesus is the Lord of the whole earth, and Satan cannot do anything without Jesus’s permission. And I mean, this is, you know, be like me going to President Obama and telling him, “Hey, man, I’ll give you all the conservative vote in America and Republican votes, you know, if you just follow my way.” Well, he’s the one that’s got all the authority. He’ll just say, “Who are you?” And that’s the way it is with Jesus. See, Jesus had all the authority. He had all the power, but he delegated the nations to Satan. A limited delegated authority. Are you with me?

Why does God allow Satan to do evil if God cannot do evil?

▶ Watch this part (9:14)

Short answer: He says God cannot do evil, so any evil done in the earth is done by what the Old Testament calls the waster, whom he says God created to do what God has no character to do. He says God cannot lie and cannot reject you if you come to him, while Satan can tempt and test you, but if you follow Christ you will overcome, and there are only two roads, the wide road to hell and the narrow road to heaven.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 9:14 Because — okay, did you guys hear that? Why would he give it? Because God cannot do evil. Okay? So any evil done in the earth, he created what the Old Testament calls the waster to destroy. He created Satan to do what God has no character to do.

▶ 9:38 See, there’s things God cannot do. Are you aware of that? Like, God can’t lie. Ain’t that right? God can’t reject you if you come to him. People say, “Well, God can do anything.” No, there’s things that God can’t do. Why? Because God is good. He can’t do evil. See, God can’t lie. And the Bible says when we come to him, he will not what? Cast us away. When we come to Christ, I don’t care how big a sinner you think you are, Jesus cannot reject you. It’s not in his nature. Does that answer that?

▶ 10:22 But see, Satan can’t. And so Satan comes and he can tempt you. He can test you. He can put little things in your mind to do wrong and all the rest. But if you follow Christ, you’ll overcome that. See, Satan is there trying to lead you away from right. Jesus is there trying to lead you away from wrong. And the darkness and the light are at war. This is where the war is. You know, there’s only two roads. There’s only two spiritual kingdoms, dark and light, right and wrong. There’s only two roads: one, the wide road to hell; the other one, the narrow road to heaven. This is not a complicated Bible. Amen.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV)

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

— Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:56 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What is spiritual fornication, and what did Jesus say to the Jews who said they were not born of fornication?

▶ Watch this part (11:07)

Short answer: He says the woman used wrongly illustrates the kingdom of darkness, people who choose their own way of religion, and that we commit spiritual fornication when we follow them. He says the Jews of John 8:41 were believers who read the scriptures and had legitimate parents, but created their own way of serving God. He says Jesus told them that if God were their father they would love him, since love does no harm, and that they were harming others by leading them astray.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 11:07 So it’s obvious this woman and this beast is connected to which kingdom? Satan’s kingdom. The kingdom of darkness. And when we listen to these people, follow in this way, we become like them. We commit spiritual fornication. John 8:41. Now, I want to prove this to you. Here we go. You ready? I’m trying to back up that the woman used rightly is the illustration of God’s people, the church. The woman used wrongly is an illustration of the kingdom of darkness. They that choose their own way of religion, whatever it may be. These Jews were believers, isn’t that right? Here’s Jesus talking to the Jews.

▶ 12:02 They were believers. They read the scriptures. They went to the synagogue, and they talked to Jesus and say, “We’re not born of fornication.” What’s the word? Fornication. And they weren’t. They had legitimate parents. They weren’t adulterous parents. They could say that. But spiritual fornication is different. See, they created their own way of serving God. Even though they used the scriptures, even though they used God, they had their own way of doing it. And they said, “We’re not born of fornication,” but they were.

▶ 12:42 “We have one father” — who is the father? God. See, they thought they were okay. And Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would what? Love me.” See, love in the Bible would do no harm. You’d do nothing to harm me. You do nothing to harm others. You are harming others, because you’re leading them astray from me. And then he says these powerful words: “You are of your father the devil.” Because why? “The works of your father you do.”

Is it possible to believe in Jesus and still go to hell?

▶ Watch this part (13:23)

Short answer: He says yes: if you start using his name to worship your own way and live your own way, that is spiritual fornication, which is what the beast and the woman are about. He says it is not the Catholic, Baptist or Presbyterian church or the people who come to Christ, but anyone in them who decides to take his name and not live his way and serve him his way.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 13:23 Are you out there? See, this is the masculine illustration, and in Revelation we have the feminine illustration. Hallelujah. So is it possible to believe in Jesus and go to hell? Yes. If you start using his name to worship your own way and live your own way, that is spiritual fornication. And that’s what this on the beast is all about. And it’s that simple. It’s not the Catholic Church. It’s not the Baptist church. It’s not the Presbyterian church or any of these people that come to Christ. It is anyone in them that decides to take his name and not live his way and serve him his way. Amen. Moms. Amen.

Should you read the Bible before you reject it?

▶ Watch this part (14:25)

Short answer: He says that, talking with people with their own dreamed-up religion who never read the Bible, he asked how many know you cannot condemn a book until you read it and cannot say it does not work until you apply it. He says many Christians have not read the book either and just believe everything on radio and TV, which he says tells a lot of lies, and he asks, in the natural, what kind of mother or parent are you.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 14:25 You say, “What’s that got to do with Mother’s Day?” Well, what kind of mother are you? See, in the natural, are we leading our kids right, or we got our own way? I mean, I just talked to people Friday night that had their own dreamed-up religion. They never read the Bible. They just come up with ideas from hearing TV and talk show people and all the rest. And we had a great discussion there. At least I did. How many of you know you can’t condemn a book until you read it? And you can’t say a book doesn’t work until you read it and you applied it. Yeah. And they were failing on all parts. And how many you know, many Christians haven’t even read the book yet. They just believe everything on radio and TV, which are telling you a lot of lies. I guarantee you, you won’t hear this on the book of Revelation on radio and TV.

What does “Come out of her, my people” mean in Revelation 18?

▶ Watch this part (15:35)

Short answer: He says Babylon, the city that rules over the kings of the earth, has fallen and is inhabited by evil spirits, with the kingdom of darkness the main force of influence in it, and the call is to come out from this false Christianity. He says the call goes to God’s people, who are still on earth, not raptured out, and Jesus is inviting everyone to come out of their own opinions and ideas and come to him, not religion.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 15:35 So the [unclear] is judged. She is Babylon that rules over the kings of the earth. The mother of abominations, and martyrs and the saints. She sits on seven mountains, sits on the nations. Ten kings hate and destroy her. And Revelation 18:2, it goes on to say that Babylon, this city, this is fallen, and it’s inhabited by evil spirits. So the word fallen doesn’t mean it’s totally destroyed. It’s fallen. It’s deteriorated, and the kingdom of darkness is the main force of influence in it. Are you with me? All right. All nations, kings, merchants commit fornication with her. They’re rich through her delicacies. Here it is: “Come out from what? Her— who? The—“ Come out from this false Christianity.

▶ 16:29 Who is he saying to come out? “My people.” So where are they still? Where is the people? On earth. See, they got us in this dream world of rapturing out of here and all this bad stuff happening. But Revelation has us here handling it, because Jesus is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and he is all powerful, and he keeps his people. Amen. And he’s saying, “My people, don’t have anything to do with that kind of religion.” They’re still here.

▶ 17:08 And he’s inviting everyone today to come out from your own opinions, to come out from your own ideas, to come out from your friends’ ideas and their opinions, and come to him. He’s still saying, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. As many as come to me, I will in no wise cast out.” Jesus is still calling out to the world through the word and through the Spirit: “Come to me,” not religion. Catholic can’t get you to heaven. Baptists can’t get you to heaven. Pentecostals can’t get you to heaven. They can’t give you wisdom and knowledge and understanding and peace and love. “I can give it all to you. Come out, my people.” And that’s what every church should be preaching: come to him. Hallelujah.

If I have made spiritual mistakes, can I correct them?

▶ Watch this part (18:04)

Short answer: He says yes: if we have made the mistake we can correct it, in the natural or in the spiritual. He says he made a lot of mistakes as a young Christian, thinking it was spiritual when it was not, and that Jesus is still the forgiver, the deliverer and the one who can save you, but you have to recognize the differences so you are not a partaker of her sins and plagues.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 18:04 So, see, if we’ve made the mistake, can we correct it? Absolutely. In the natural, if we’re sexual immoral people or thieves and liars and so forth, can we come out and correct the natural? If in the spiritual we’re wrong, can we correct the spiritual? Yes. Thank God, I’d have been killed a long time ago, [unclear] I’ve been cast out a long time ago. I made a lot of mistakes as a young Christian, thinking it was spiritual and it wasn’t. And you can raise your hand and say, “Yeah, I can relate.” See, both in the natural and in the spiritual, he is crying, “Come to me. I’m still the forgiver. I’m still the deliverer. I’m still the one that can save you. I’m still the one that can get you to the goal.” But you got to recognize the differences to be able to make that decision, so you don’t be a partaker of her sins and of her plagues.

Why does the Bible use a mother to picture the church?

▶ Watch this part (19:05)

Short answer: He says it is the mother who carries, nourishes and finally gives birth to the child, while the man conceives it and gives it life. He says what the mother eats and does in the natural affects the child being born, and how she teaches it and lives before it affects it afterward, so mothers must keep the responsibility until the child is a responsible adult with good character and discipline.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 19:05 The Bible uses the mother because it’s the mother that carries and nourishes and finally gives birth to that child. The man conceives it. He gives it life. It takes on his nature. But the mother nourishes it. And this is why the church is illustrated as a woman. See, what you eat, what you do with your body in the natural is going to affect that child being born. And after it’s born, how you teach it, the life you live before it is going to affect that child. And so, mothers, you’re very important not to just birth the child, but to keep that mother responsibility to see that that child gets to twenty years old, an adult that’s responsible, has good character, discipline in their life.

How should parents raise their children, according to this message?

▶ Watch this part (20:12)

Short answer: He says the woman driven into the wilderness reproduced children with great character who had the testimony of Jesus and obeyed the word of God, and that dads are included because these are spiritual decisions. He says parents should stay, support the child and the home, live as an example, and bring children to church so they see them worshiping God, and he remembers his own mother’s voice keeping him from wrong.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 20:12 And that’s what the woman that was driven into the wilderness had. She reproduced children with great character. They had the testimony of Jesus, and they obeyed the word of God. Wow. So, moms, have we been doing that? And can we improve on that? And dads, if you think you can escape this message, I’m going to connect you, because it says spiritually. We’re talking about spiritual decisions. And so it’s not just the woman now, but the men need to make the same decisions. Can that be an amen?

▶ 20:55 You don’t just give life to a child because you like to have sex and then just run off on it and leave it. That’s horrible. But you hang in there and you support that child. You support that home. You live an example to that home. Amen. Like Mike said, you bring them to church so they get the word of God in them from another source, not your own. Your own’s confirmed. They see you are concerned about the things of God.

But it was my mom [unclear] that said, “Don’t you do that.” I noticed one of my older brothers was saying, “Man, mom told me three things.” And one of the things is, you know, you don’t have sex outside of marriages and have kids that you don’t raise and all that. And though he’s in his seventies, he said, “Man, if I did anything wrong, I would remember that voice.” And I said, “I’m with you. I remember that voice.”

▶ 22:37 Hallelujah. So it pays for moms to follow through on being a mom, and dads to follow through. And this morning Jesus is offering, still, for us to come out from among our own way, our own beliefs, our own religion, and embrace his
