From the sermonThe War of The Word Part 2 · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

In this message Pastor David G. Kincer finishes Revelation 19, arguing that the supper of the great God, the horses and the sword from His mouth show a spiritual war of the word rather than a natural war. He gives Bible examples of the war of the word, from the flood, Sodom, Egypt, Babylon and the ark, to angels fighting for believers, and then turns to present-day suffering, morality and the question of which side of the word you are on.

What is the “supper of the great God” in Revelation 19, and why do the birds gather?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: He reads Revelation 19:17, the angel “standing in the sun” crying to the birds to gather “into the supper of the great God.” He says Jesus used eagles and vultures as an illustration of the coming at the end of the world, citing “wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”

▶ 0:00 And angels, verse 17, standing in the sun. Now you try standing in the sun, see how long you last. “Cried to all the birds, the fowls of heaven, gather yourselves together into the supper of the great God.” Now, we know that in the book of Daniel and in other books in the Bible, when there were national wars, physical people were killed, and the vultures actually would come and gather together and eat the dead flesh. Right? All right. We also know that angels— I mean, I’m sorry, we also know that eagles were used by Jesus to describe the second coming in Matthew 14 and in Luke and in John and Mark.

▶ 1:00 Where one would be taken and the other left, and they said, “Where, Lord? Where are these people going to be taken?” And He says, “Wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.” So we know that Jesus used these fowl, these vultures, as an illustration of the coming at the end of the world. Are you there? Hallelujah. In Luke 17:36 it said, “Two men will be in the field; one shall be taken, the other left.” And they answered, “Where, Lord?” “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.” See, where the dead carcass is, the eagles, the vultures— the eagle is a vulture, he feeds on dead bodies and lights on [them].

Revelation 19:17-18 (NKJV)

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”

Luke 17:34-37 (NKJV)

I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?” So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”

Why does he say the horses in Revelation 19 show this is a spiritual war and not a natural one?

▶ Watch this part (2:00)

Short answer: He says the birds eat the flesh of kings, captains, mighty men, horses and riders, “both free and bond, both small and great.” He says if this took place in our day, “we don’t use horses for war,” so “this is not a natural war. This is a spiritual war.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 2:00 And so we know that this is illustrated as part of the second coming. Okay, and it’s the supper of the great God, and the birds were to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and the people that sat on the horses, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. So these fowls are going to what? Eat the dead carcasses of everybody, including the horses. Now, the horses here tell you something. That’s why it’s in red. If this takes place in our day, as these prophets claim is going to be, we don’t use horses for war. You don’t win wars with horses anymore. You got to have tanks, you got to have airplanes, you got to have, uh, uh, aircraft carriers, I mean. So that tells us what? This is not a natural war. This is a spiritual war.

Will armies of the earth really fight Jesus when He returns?

▶ Watch this part (3:23)

Short answer: He says God’s war of the word is “with everyone on earth,” small and great, bond and free. Of Revelation 19:19 he says people on earth will hide in the rocks and caves from a spirit coming out of heaven with angels, and “you’re going to run” rather than fight them with atomic bombs and missiles.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:23 Amen. And the fact that it says small and great, both free and bond, he’s talking about all people. People not even in the war. And is God’s war dealing with all nations? His war of the word, is He dealing with the small and the great? The Bible tells us that, doesn’t it? See, the bond and the free, He’s dealing with everyone. God’s spiritual war is with everyone on earth. Verse 19: “The beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to war against Him that sat on the horse and against His army.”

▶ 4:16 And this, again, is just ridiculous. Jesus comes riding out of heaven on a white horse with angels behind Him. They, people on earth, are going to do exactly what it said before this: they’re going to hide in the rocks and the caves and the— from the one who’s what? Coming. You see a spirit coming out of heaven, and angels, spirits, coming out of heaven, and you’re going to get your atomic bombs and your missiles and try to fight them? Uh-huh, honey, you’re going to run, just like He told, said, they’re going to run. They’re going to want to hide from this one who’s coming out of the heavens. Are you there? So this is obviously what? A spiritual war. Amen. But they got us thinking Russia’s coming and China’s coming and all this natural stuff, and, you know, and we don’t read the Bible enough to even know if they’re telling us the truth or not.

What happens to the beast and the false prophet, and who is slain with the sword of His mouth?

▶ Watch this part (5:28)

Short answer: He says the beast and false prophet were “cast alive into the lake of fire,” and since you take an enemy captive in battle, “the spiritual powers are captured.” He says the rest were slain “with the sword of His mouth”: when the word of God comes to us we can accept it and live forever, or reject it and be called “dead in trespasses and sins.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 5:28 Revelation’s verse 19, chapter 19:20: “The beast and the false prophet were taken.” See, this beast and false prophet is the, the spiritual realm. “And they were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Now, you know, when you conquer an enemy, you take them captive, isn’t that right? Huh? Those who are alive and not dead, you take him captive. Who’s taken captive in this battle? The beast and the false prophet. See, it’s a spiritual war in the spiritual realm, and the spiritual powers are captured. Hallelujah. I got a picture here of these two dummies getting thrown into the pit.

▶ 6:29 Now verse 21: “The remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat on the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth, and all the fowls were gathered and filled with their flesh.” Now, the armies and these other people, the small and the great, how were they slain? With the sword of His mouth. See, the word of God comes to them. And how, you know, when the word of God comes to us, we can accept it or we can reject it. If we accept it, we live what? Forever. We’re given eternal life and we live forever. If we reject it, we are called dead in trespasses and sins.

Is the war of the word only for the end times? (the flood)

▶ Watch this part (7:34)

Short answer: He says “these wars have been going on since the beginning,” and the end-time prophets are wrong to make us think it is “just at the end of the age.” His first example is the flood: God spoke, Noah preached righteousness for a hundred years, only six or seven people listened, and the rest “died in the judgment.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:34 Isn’t that what the Bible says? See, when we don’t believe in Christ and live for Him and accept His death on the cross, and we sin, the Bible says we are dead even though we’re alive, and trespasses in what? Sin. Hallelujah. Now, let me give you some Bible illustrations of the war of the word. Are you ready? You want to see some examples of this? They’ve been going on for quite some time. See, these end-time prophets try to make us think it’s just at the end of the age, but these wars have been going on since the beginning. You want to see some examples? Are you interested in this war of the word? All right, here we go.

▶ 8:32 Let’s go to the flood. Did God come down and say by His word, “I’m going to destroy the earth with a flood”? Was that the word of God? Did He send Noah to preach righteousness and the judgment to the people for over a hundred years? For 100 years he preached right, and did anybody listen? Yeah, six people did, or seven people did: his wife, his boys and their wives that came out of sinful families of the world. The rest rejected it, and what? Died in the judgment. You see, the war of the word. He speaks it, it’s going to happen. Does He always give a way out? Absolutely. He’s God, He gives you a way out.

What does Sodom and Gomorrah show about the war of the word?

▶ Watch this part (9:37)

Short answer: He says there was a righteous man in Sodom and Gomorrah as a witness, and God’s word was “I’m going to destroy Sodom by fire and brimstone.” He says Lot’s married daughters and their husbands laughed, and “they think that the end-time judgment is a big joke.” Lot was led out by the angels with his two daughters, and his wife turned back and got caught in the judgment.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 9:37 Okay, next illustration is Sodom and Gomorrah. Was there a righteous man living in Sodom and Gomorrah? Say yes. As a witness to these people who were committing homosexual acts and idleness of bread and abundance of food. Two angels come, two angels, and they want to have sex with the angels. Now, how dumb can you get? Hallelujah. But see, the angels appeared as beings. They, as Star Wars says, materialized. “Beam me up, Scotty.” And the word was, “I’m going to destroy Sodom by fire and brimstone.” His own daughters that didn’t live with him and their husbands laughed at him and said, “You got to be joking, Lot. Fire and brimstone from heaven’s going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, just these two cit— give me a break. You got to be joking.” And that’s what a lot of people do today. They think that the end-time judgment is a big joke. So Lot was led out by the angels with his two daughters that lived at home. His wife turned back and got caught in the judgment.

What did the plagues of Egypt show about the limits of spiritual power?

▶ Watch this part (11:21)

Short answer: He says Egypt’s sorcerers copied some of the signs, but “they can only do what God allowed them to do,” so “there is a limited spiritual authority and power in the world.” He says that after the frogs God’s people were separated and safe, and “they didn’t have to be raptured to be safe.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 11:21 Egypt. Now, here’s a good one. Egypt has two prophets, Moses and [unclear]. And they’re bringing plagues down. They bring 10 plagues down. Egypt had sorcerers there. They had people into witchcraft, and they were doing nothing to— Moses came along, and then they were turning sticks into snakes, and they were turning water into blood, and they were bringing frogs out of the river. When they didn’t need any more snakes, and they didn’t need any more frogs, and they didn’t need any more blood, they needed no frogs, clear water, and no snakes. But see, they can only do what God allowed them to do. Are you there? So there is a limited spiritual authority and power in the world. It’s very limited.

▶ 12:25 Now the Israelites, they experienced the blood, the water, they experienced the frogs coming out. But after the frogs, the Bible says God’s people were separated. And so when the [unclear] and the fire from heaven and the plague on the cattle and all that came, God’s people were what? Safe. They didn’t have to be raptured to be safe. Hallelujah. God can keep us right here. Amen. See, God gave— God came with His word through His prophets and gave them a chance. Now, some people in Egypt did convert, because a mixed multitude came out, and that’s what happened since Jesus died, that a lot of people have came out. They’ve converted. And is that right?

How did the Passover blood and the Red Sea show a war of the word?

▶ Watch this part (13:34)

Short answer: He says in the death of the firstborn, those with the blood on the door had “no death, no darkness,” while homes without it lost the firstborn. At the Red Sea there was “no sword fighting, no bombs,” just God doing things by His word, and “everything depends on what side of the word you’re on.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 13:34 Hallelujah. Now, the death of the firstborn. They put the blood on the door, and the destroying angel came through, the death angel. If you had the mark of the heavens, the blood on the door, no death, no darkness, nothing. But if you didn’t have it, if you were the firstborn, you were dead, and everybody in your family that was firstborn died. So every home had somebody dead in it, some of them more than one, ‘cause if the papa was firstborn and the mother was firstborn and they had a child firstborn, three people in that family died. Are you there? But not with the mark on the door.

▶ 14:30 Hallelujah. And see, Revelation talks about the people of God having a what? A seal on them, a mark on them. And I forgot to tell you, all these wars were defeating and tormenting and punishing the people that didn’t have the seal. They weren’t touching the righteous. It’s just that the beast overcame the righteous, like in the earth today, our rulers are usually unrighteous, isn’t that true? And a lot of people in authority unrighteous, and they give us problems. They have limited authority over God’s people. So they come to the Red Sea, the waters parted, the people of God passed through on dry land safely, and the army of Israel, what? Were drowned. See, a war of the word. No sword fighting, no bombs. It’s just God doing things by His what? Word.

▶ 15:39 And then when the Egyptian army came up, they couldn’t see, so they couldn’t go on and overtake Israel, because on this side of the pillar of fire and the cloud was darkness, and on the other side there was what? Light. So Israel could see, and the Egyptians on the other side of the light couldn’t see. See, everything depends on what side of the light you’re on, just as everything depends on what side of the word you’re on. Now, that was good. When you’re on the right side of the word, you don’t have to worry about all these wars and things going on in the heavens, because the end result is going to be to bless you. If you’re on the wrong side of the word, you better watch out. Things are coming in your life that you’re not going to like. So in the war of the word, it depends on which side of the word you’re on.

What did four men do in Babylon, and should talk of Russia and China distract us?

▶ Watch this part (16:44)

Short answer: He says four men who would not worship idols “changed the laws of Babylon,” with no swords, guns or tanks, just standing “on the right side of the word.” He asks how much more a church could change the nations by knowing and living God’s word, and says not to let end-time prophets distract you about Russia and China: “the war is in heaven.” He says you are punished not for being born in the wrong nation but “because you live in the wrong kingdom, the kingdom of darkness.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 16:44 Okay, Israel that came out of Egypt, they came out serving idols, they committed sexual immorality, and they did things that were bad. What did God do? He said, “I’ll come and I’ll punish you for these things.” So He had to bring famine here in one place and another place, and He would bring armies against them, and He would try to correct them. Why? Because they were breaking His word. Finally they went into captivity in Babylon. So we go to Babylon. What did four men do in Babylon? The Bible says that four men changed the laws of Babylon because they would not worship idols, they would not defile themselves, they stood for Jesus Christ. They got no swords, they got no guns, they got no tanks, they just stood on the right side of the word of God, and the Bible says that the king of Babylon changed the whole law because of these four men.

▶ 17:49 Now, folks, that’s powerful. See, it’s the war of the word, and four men can change a nation, a sinful nation, a corrupt nation, and rewrite their laws. How much more can a church in the earth today change the nations of the earth by getting God’s word in them, knowing God’s word, and living God’s word? Amen. Don’t you let these end-time prophets distract you about Russia coming down and China coming over. You realize that the war is in heaven, and we who use the word are going to win. Amen. And God’s for the Russians, He’s for Chinese, Jesus died for all the people of the earth. Could that be an amen?

▶ 18:42 Amen. You’re not going to be punished because you’re born in the wrong nation. You’re only punished because you live in the wrong kingdom, the kingdom of darkness. Now that’s hot stuff.

Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”

What happened when Israel took the ark of the covenant into battle while sinning?

▶ Watch this part (18:58)

Short answer: He says Israel was “sinning and not following God,” brought the ark, and “got beat up the next day.” When the enemy put the ark in the house of their god, that god fell on its face with its head cut off, and he says “your God is worthless” if he needs your help. He adds that Gideon’s father told the city to “let him defend himself,” and asks if Jesus is big enough to defend Himself: “Yes, He’s the all-powerful One.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 18:58 Now let’s go to the ark of the covenant. The ark of the covenant is where God dwelt in the Old Testament. So Israel went to battle and they lost the battle, so they said, “We need the ark of the covenant. We need the presence of God.” And that’s true, we need the presence of God, and the word is right there with the ark. Remember that? Is that what the Bible says? Right beside the ark is the word. So they bring the ark of the covenant down, and man, Israel, who was sinning and not following God all through, was celebration, and they got beat up the next day in war. The enemy took the ark, took it back to their nation, put it in the house of their God without war, without hand-to-hand combat.

▶ 19:47 The next morning their God Dagon was fallen on his face, his wrists were cut, his head was cut off. I mean, duh, you’d think they’d get the hint, but instead they propped Dagon back up. I mean, when you got to do something to help your God, your God is worthless. I mean, when your God needs your help, other than prayer, you know, the spiritual weapons that we come on. Amen. And this is what Gideon’s father told the people of the city when Gideon went and tore down the idol. They said, “Hey, you bring your son out, we got to kill him for destroying our idol.” He says, “Listen, if your idol is really a God, let him defend himself.” Isn’t that correct? Is Jesus big enough to defend Himself? Yes, He’s the all-powerful One.

▶ 20:43 Hallelujah. So God didn’t finish there. He smoked them with a plague. They died. They started dying like flies, and boils come out on them, and oh man, they were a mess. And so these guys say, “What? We got to get rid of this ark. This God of Israel is going to kill us.” And so they sent the ark back, and when they did, God stopped the plague. You see, the word of God is powerful. It’s a war of the word, and when you’re on the right side of the word, you got no problem.

Do angels and the army of heaven fight for believers?

▶ Watch this part (21:21)

Short answer: He says they tried to kill Jesus several times but “He just walked through their midst” because He was on the right side of the word, and an angel let Peter out of prison. He says “this army in heaven is on our side,” recalling the prophet who prayed that his servant’s eyes be opened to see angels and chariots encamped around God’s people, so “these angels are fighting for us.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 21:21 Jesus and His apostles, was Jesus and the apostles persecuted, tried to kill, and even killed by leaders and people around Him? Yes. They tried to kill Jesus several times, and the Bible says He just walked through their midst. See, He didn’t have to fight back, He didn’t have to use physical swords and physical fists. The Bible says He just walked right through. Why? ‘Cause He’s on the right side of the word. And yet they killed Him because they didn’t know, the Bible says, that He was God, or else they would not have fulfilled the work. And then the apostles come along and they killed the apostles. James was beheaded. All the apostles died a very tragic martyr death except for John. They were put in prison, and an angel came to Peter in prison and let him out. There’s that angel again. Amen. Angels came and ministered to Jesus when He [unclear], isn’t that right? Yes, angels came and ministered. Folks, this army in heaven is on our side, and though you can’t see them, remember the prophet Elijah said, “Lord, open the eyes of my servant that he can see what’s going on here.”

▶ 22:56 And when He opened the eyes of the earth, angels and chariots were encamped all around the people of God. See, if your eyes were open, you’d see how powerful the kingdom of righteousness is, the kingdom of light, the kingdom of Jesus is. Hallelujah. But “blessed are they that have not seen and yet” what? “Believe.” How that we don’t have to see these angels. God says they’re there, and so we’ve got to live our life like we are connected to the heavenlies. These angels are fighting for us, and we are victorious people. Amen. How many of you need a little supernatural power to fight your battles? Oh, the rest of you are pretty strong. Huh.

What does he say the next judgment will be?

▶ Watch this part (23:50)

Short answer: He says the Bible says the earth will be destroyed by fire next time, with the heavens rolling back like a scroll and the elements melting with fervent heat, “because God’s word said so.” He says Jesus said those who didn’t follow Him would be cast into the lake of fire made for the Devil and his angels, and “those on the side of the word are going to be blessed” while those on the wrong side will be punished.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 23:50 Now, the Bible says that the earth’s going to be destroyed by fire next time. It says that the heavens are going to roll back like a scroll, the elements are going to melt with a fervent heat on that day of the coming of the Lord. You see, the next judgment is fire, and why is it going to happen? Because God’s word said so. So it’s the word, it’s the word. Jesus said that the people that didn’t follow Him and live right, and— Matthew— that they would be cast into the lake of fire made for the Devil and his angels. What was the lake of fire created for? To handle Satan and his angels, the wicked powers of the spiritual world, in that great clash at the last day.

▶ 24:56 Amen, hallelujah. And so this thing is going to happen, folks. It is going to happen. Uh, those on the side of the word are going to be blessed. Those on the wrong side of the word are going to be punished. Now, if you think this thing is just for the end time, let me give you a few facts. Are you ready for some natural facts? 5 billion people, that’s 56% of the population of the earth today, live on $5 a day or less. In other words, 56% of the world’s population is in poverty.

2 Peter 3:10 (NKJV)

Is the tribulation only coming, or are people suffering now?

▶ Watch this part (25:51)

Short answer: He gives statistics he says show suffering now, such as poverty, hunger, wars and disease, and says if you tell those people about a coming seven-year tribulation they will say, “I’m living in it, and it’s moving.” He says “the Americans forget that not everybody lives like us, and yet God loves these people.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 25:51 25,000 people die a day from hunger. Now you go to those people and you tell them there’s some great big seven-year period of tribulation coming. “Man, I’m living in it, and it’s moving.” When you see these pictures of people in Africa and South America and Asia and just [unclear] and with orange hair and bloated bellies because they don’t have the food, and skinny, and finally just dying because they don’t have the nourishment. The Americans forget that not everybody lives like us, and yet God loves these people.

▶ 26:47 More than 9 million per year are dying from hunger. There are 30 wars and conflicts in the world today. 1.8 million died last year from AIDS. Death, the number one death in the world, it is the number one source of death in the world is from AIDS. There are 16 million AIDS orphans in the world, and yet Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brown, and our legislators want us to honor a Harvey Milk Day and a Day of Silence for the homosexuals in our schools, when that is a lifestyle that will kill you. And Harvey Milk was a, a recruiter of young, frustrated boys that didn’t know what was going on in life, and he would have sex with them. He was not an honorable man. Can I hear an amen? And yet our legislators and Governor Schwarzenegger, who said he was a Republican, and the Republican platform does not stand for that, he promoted it, and then we find out why he’s doing things on the side. He’s not living for God at all. He’s saying one thing and living another. Are you there?

What does he say about children’s suffering and America’s moral problem?

▶ Watch this part (28:16)

Short answer: He says children are neglected, abused and trafficked in every nation, and that “America is not great. We’re immorally bankrupt, and our children are paying the price for it.” He warns that sexual immorality “has a price to pay,” and says the real issue is “the heavenlies, morality.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 28:16 Now you go to these 16 million kids and you tell them there’s a [unclear] and a half year period, man, of real trouble in the earth. They’re going to look at you and say, “What do you think I’m in? I got no mama, I got no daddy, my mama passed on AIDS to me, I’m doomed.” I just dealt with someone on the internet whose mother passed AIDS onto her. She’s 20 years old and she’s wasting away with the HIV virus, born with it. I mean, you know, that’s not fair. There are quakes and volcanoes and hurricanes and tornadoes and floods and landslides and avalanches that kill hundreds of thousands of people every year. There are crimes going on in every nation: criminals bullying people, stealing, raping, selling sex slaves, and abusing children and neglecting children.

▶ 29:17 And 3 billion people in the earth today have a sexually transmitted disease. Do you realize that’s 50% of the earth’s population? And see, Jesus came, He says, “My word is not grievous, because My word will give you life.” I want to warn you, don’t commit sexual immorality. It has a price to pay. See, don’t do these things. It has a price to pay. And Obama and none of our federal government legislators will admit there is a morality problem in America, and there’s signs of it by sexually transmitted diseases, children are being neglected, children are being abused, and yet they stand up there and talk like America’s just great, we’re just in a little financial problem right now. America is not great. We’re immorally bankrupt, and our children are paying the price for it. Children all over the world are paying the price for it, and we’re not addressing the moral issue. But this is the issue: the heavenlies, morality.

Where should Christians look instead of Russia and China?

▶ Watch this part (30:36)

Short answer: He says people are being led to look for Russia and China to move against Israel and across the Euphrates, but “we need to look into the heavenlies.” He says “through using spiritual principles we can move the heavenlies to move earth.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 30:36 Hallelujah. And they got us looking for Russia to come down against Israel and China to come across the Euphrates, and, you know, some big guy, government, going to unite. All they got us looking in the wrong direction. We need to look into the heavenlies. Amen. We need to look where? To the heavenlies, and through using spiritual principles we can move the heavenlies to move earth. Hallelujah. So the conclusion, as I said, this is a war of the word, and it all depends on which side of the word you’re on, how you’re going to come out in this war.

What is the conclusion: which side of the word are you on?

▶ Watch this part (31:32)

Short answer: He says the war of the word depends on “which side of the word you’re on,” and that in the last days a demonstration of the word will bring a harvest like the mixed multitude that left Egypt. He says God is “not out to kill them” but to put them to death to sin and alive to righteousness, and that Jesus used the word, not a sword or fist, for three and a half years.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 31:32 And that’s why in the last days there’s going to be a demonstration of the word that’s going to bring a harvest in, just like Egypt. Remember, in Egypt there was a mixed multitude, there were people besides God’s people coming out of Egypt, so it’s going to be at the end time. There’s going to be a tremendous harvest. There is over 6 billion people today, and when God moves in these final days, He’s moving to win as many as He can to Himself. He’s not out to kill them, He’s out to re-kill them— as, as put them to death to sin and alive to righteousness.

▶ 32:12 Amen. That’s what Romans says: we’re dead to sin and we’re alive to righteousness. And He needs to kill us with the word and kill that sinful nature in us and resurrect us into a man of what? Righteousness. Hallelujah. The war of the word. Did Jesus use the word when He came for three and a half years and preached? Absolutely. Did He take up a sword against anyone? Did He hit anyone, hit anyone with His fist? No. He used the word. And the word made people glad, or they made people mad, and that’s what’s going to go on in every generation. It’s the word, and in the last generation it’s the word. It’s the war of the word, destroying the principalities and powers in heavenly places and bringing release and victory on earth to human beings.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added by hand, and obvious caption errors were corrected; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor note: he says the eagle illustration is “in Matthew 14 and in Luke and in John and Mark”; the words about the carcass and the eagles are Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37 (he cites “Luke 17:36,” which is the nearby verse), and the page shows both. He attributes the prayer “open the eyes of my servant” to “the prophet Elijah”; the passage (2 Kings 6:17) is about Elisha. He names “Revelation’s verse 19, chapter 19:20” for the beast and false prophet. The caption “deeon” is read as Dagon (1 Samuel 5). “Four men” in Babylon is linked to Daniel 3:28–29 as the closest passage; he does not name a reference. Statistics he gives in the last part (poverty, hunger, disease) are quoted as spoken, with no source named. The transcript names several living public figures in the political comments (paragraphs starting at 26:47 and 29:17); they are left in the transcript only, not in the summaries. “[Unclear]” marks five spots where the captions were not clear: the name after “Moses and” (paragraph at 11:21), a word before “the fire from heaven” (12:25), a phrase after “ministered to Jesus when He” (21:21), a word near “just [unclear] and with orange hair” (25:51), and a number before “and a half year period” (28:16).
