The Son of Joseph— December 19, 2021: full transcript and answers

▶ 0:02 Good morning again and welcome I was just reminding those in here how important it is to worship God how powerful it is it is God’s tool God’s way to fight against the enemy and to bless your life I encourage you this morning when we worship put a smile on your face the Bible says come into his gates with thanksgiving come into his courts with praise change your countenance. When I come before God with a smile it changes everything it’s really it’s amazing. You know because I always get down on myself. But when you come to him with a smile you change your countenance and you approach him it’s powerful we’re going to go over the scriptures this morning. In Joel chapter 2 verse 28 it says it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh your sons and your daughters shall prophesy your old men shall dream dreams young men shall see visions.

▶ 1:06 I will pour out my spirit in those days. And the scripture in first Corinthians chapter 14 verse 3 it says he who prophesies speaks edification exhortation and comfort edification. Building up exhortation encouraging people stirring up the spirit and comfort the Holy Spirit is the comforter amen and when he comes and and encourages to prophesy that prophecy should be building up your brethren your brothers and sisters we want to encourage one another this morning we want to stir up the spirit of God this morning. Wherever you’re at however you’re doing right now do not be afraid to step out and let God’s spirit use you to prophesy to say something encouraging from the scriptures to speak out the truth to comfort one another amen.

▶ 2:08 But if all prophesied and an unbeliever uninformed person comes in he is convinced. He is convicted by all. And the secrets of his heart are revealed and so falling on his face he will worship God and declare that God is among you don’t we want that I want that. God wants that for his people young people in this room. We need God to come and stan and stir people to fall on their face and worship him. Convicted and convinced by all God’s word is so powerful I encourage you this morning use the gifts of the spirit we are a church that believes in the Holy Spirit believes in the gifts of the spirit let’s use them this morning I welcome you let’s stand and worship sing and praise our God this morning.

▶ 15:14 Oh here within a major lies the one who made the starry skies this baby born for sacrifice. Christ the messiah. Unto us unto us a child is born the king of kings and Lord of lords and he shall reign forevermore.

God this morning we pray Lord we would not. Let people silence us so Lord. Jesus God. We pray Lord Jesus that we would not silence ourselves. But God Lord that we would be willing to hear the spirit and speak what the spirit says.

▶ 22:39 Lord if it’s due what the spirit says be willing to do what it says God. Lord this morning we pray for a new heart. The heart makes the difference Jesus God we pray for a new heart. A new mind Jesus. Lord from the oldest to the youngest God. Lord we ask this in your name. And everyone said amen. You may find your seats this morning. We’re going to invite Pastor Kincer up to share the message this morning. Okay again we’re going to be talking about what Jesus did not say.

▶ 23:36 In John chapter 1 verse 45 Philip said. We have found him of whom Moses in the law and the prophets did right Jesus of Nazareth. The son of Joseph. Jesus did not say he was the son of Joseph Philip did. In the genealogies. It ends the genealogy with saying Jesus. As was supposed. The son of Joseph Jesus didn’t say he was the son of Joseph. The writer of the genealogy didn’t say. He was the son of Joseph as was supposed my Jewish friends on facebook that I discussed the scriptures with they’re always saying that Jesus would have had to come through Joseph to be of the lineage of David and I said no you left out as was supposed.

▶ 24:37 I said people supposed. That Joseph was his father and the lineage of David and I said people are supposing a lot of things about Jesus even today that are not true I said he she he was of the lineage of David through Mary. Not Joseph. Also Jesus is out preaching the gospel and they that heard Christ’s word said is not this Joseph’s son. Jesus didn’t say he was Joseph’s son these people that heard Jesus said he was Joseph’s son. They supposed he was and a lot of people are supposing a lot of things about the Jesus and the Bible today. Because they don’t have the understanding of the truth.

▶ 25:32 In John chapter 6 verse 41 the Jews grumbled. Saying. Is this not Jesus the son of Joseph. Whose mother and father we know. Jesus didn’t say he was the son of Joseph. These grumbling Jews said he was. And folks if they could have been wrong. Is it possible we can be wrong about things today. That we haven’t been enlightened to by the spirit it takes God and the spirit to enlighten truth to us so let’s look. At what Jesus did say because Jesus never said anywhere in the scriptures I am the son of Joseph never did he say that.

▶ 26:25 What Jesus did say is to the Jews trying to stone him they’re wanting to kill him and Jesus said I am. The son of God. Alleluia. Not the son of Joseph the son of God. Again in John 9:35. He healed a blind man and he met the blind man later in the temple. And he said to the blind man do you believe in the son of God. See it’s imperative that we believe in the son of God and he’s asking this blind man that he healed and see this blind man got healed without any faith and without any belief. Everybody keeps telling you over and over you know you can’t get anything from God unless you believe it’s all all up to your faith and your belief there’s a lot of of uh records in the Bible where people got dealt with by God got healed by God and they didn’t have any belief okay God loves you he wants to do you good and don’t you worry about your lack of faith if you’ve got enough faith just to talk to him that’s going to be enough could that be an amen.

▶ 27:43 So. The guy says well who is he Lord so I may believe in him. And Jesus said it is he who is talking with you my friend I’m the son of God. So Jesus plainly made it clear that he was the son of God Jesus also made it clear. That he was. The son of the father which is in heaven Matthew 7:21 not everyone that says to me Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he that does the will of my father which is in heaven. My father is in heaven my father is God. In heaven. He goes on to say in Matthew 10 all who confess me before men I will confess before my father.

▶ 28:43 Which is in heaven. Hallelujah I am the son of God my father is in heaven I am the son of my father God in heaven hallelujah he goes on to say in John 5 the Jews sought to kill him here they are after him again. And you know it makes you wonder today if Jesus really appeared. Without coming in his second return how many believers. Would want to kill him because he doesn’t line up to what we believe. Wow. So anyway the Jews. Who served God and believed in God wanted to kill Jesus who was God in the flesh.

▶ 29:37 And they wanted to kill him because Jesus told them. That God was his father. And this made them mad. Making himself equal with God equal. Sane equal I keep telling people Jesus Christ is God in the flesh equal. Jesus said me and my father are one Jesus said if you’ve seen me you’ve seen the father I mean what is the problem the problem is our eyes have not been opened that there is one God. The father in heaven God. In Jesus Christ that fleshly body on earth and God in that Holy Spirit. One God now why is that important that we know Jesus is the son of God the father in heaven why is that so important because 700 years before Christ came.

▶ 30:45 700 years that’s a long time. God spoke through Isaiah the prophet and said the Lord himself. Shall give you a sign a miracle. A a miraculous event. Supernatural event and that supernatural event is going to be a virgin. It shall conceive. And bear a son. Well my Jewish friends on facebook just don’t get it because they want to use context well he’s talking about this before and this after it had nothing to do yet you can’t go to the Bible and strip it of its truth in the name of context. When God pops a prophecy in there in the middle of history.

▶ 31:40 It is not context it it’s its own context. It’s a prophetic word. And this virgin who knew not a man see they my Jewish friends they want to relate it to one of the kings who. Conceived a child by a virgin I go no no no no you guys you don’t get it this woman is a virgin she never knew a man this child that is born. Is conceived by God not another human being. Are you out there chuch. A lot of us need to get on facebook and sharpen our skills people are willing to talk on facebook you don’t have to leave your home hallelujah I talked to muslim talk to Jews I talk to all kinds of people.

▶ 32:31 And I’m letting you know their arguments and their arguments are there because they’re trying to in the natural mind understand what God has hidden Jesus said I come and I’m going to tell you things that have been hidden since the world began didn’t know what Jesus said they are hidden in parables and shadows and and types and examples and it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you and the New Testament is that spirit revealing the things hidden in the Old Testament hallelujah so this virgin without knowing a man intimately is going to have a child and it’s going to be a son it can’t be a daughter it’s got to be a son. And they’re going to call his name Immanuel and this is what I keep telling people you say God Jesus isn’t God in the flesh.

▶ 33:23 God named him Immanuel God with us God with us that’s God. In Jesus Christ didn’t Jesus say the works that I do is not my works but the father in me is doing the work duh. See it’s imperative we know that he is supernaturally born. Supernaturally born he didn’t have a fleshlighted body like you and I people want to say no he’s all human no he wasn’t all human. Because he did not have a human father he had a spiritual father he is part spirit and part human. That makes a big difference can you say amen. Big difference we’re all human.

▶ 34:19 But not Jesus Christ and so this is important to know this this is a supernatural thing that God predicted that would happen and then we go to the New Testament. And. The Bible says the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise this is the way Christ was born. Okay. When his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph to be married. Before they come together intimately. See this is the New Testament explaining Isaiah chapter 7 verse 14. See enlightening us. She was found with child of the Holy Ghost not a king of Israel the Holy Ghost and I tell my Jewish friends on facebook you got to read the whole.

▶ 35:22 Picture here you can’t just take little verses out and say see this can’t be true. He was a child this virgin had a child by the Holy Spirit that’s exactly what Isaiah said was going to happen is that an amen. Supernatural birth of Christ. And the angel came and said to Joseph because Joseph was going to put her away he was going to save her from embarrassment and not marry her and the angel came to Joseph and said don’t be afraid to marry Mary. For that which is conceived in her is of the what Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit God’s spirit came and conceived. Christ in the womb of a virgin named Mary just like God prophesied 700 years before. Powerful.

▶ 36:15 Supernaturally done. And then. Matthew goes on to say that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet behold a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son and they shall call his name Immanuel which being interpreted as God with us so the New Testament explains clearly that Isaiah’s prophecy there had nothing to do with the context before in the context after it was that prophecy. That was fulfilled. When God came and conceived Jesus Christ in Mary and Mary birth Jesus Christ hallelujah. 700 years before now that’s why it’s important it’s important like Jesus said do you believe I am the son of God it’s important why because God prophesied he would come and he would be birthed by a virgin and he would supernaturally be birthed and he that supernatural birth is going to bring a supernatural person that’s going to do supernatural things we’re not talking about natural stuff at all and this is why the Jews could not accept Jesus as the messiah and they don’t today because they’re looking for a natural king to come and lead them and save them they’re looking for natural things and Jesus came supernaturally.

▶ 37:42 Doing supernatural things could that be an amen. Now. Why. Is coming to Jesus. God’s only begotten son vital imperative. Top importance coming to him not grace not faith not some church not some priest not some pope why is coming to Jesus so vital. In Psalms chapter two verse seven one thousand years before Christ came one thousand years before Christ came this was prophesied. I will declare the decree of the Lord. He God said to me Jesus.

▶ 38:37 You are my son this day I have begotten you. Okay. In Psalms 2 verse 7. In Psalm 16:10 1000 years. My son my servant will not see decay. He is not going to die and rot away. As a court. Okay and you can’t read before and after for context me and these people on facebook. You know they keep throwing context at me I said you guys that is a prophetic word it’s got its own context it’s got its own understanding that’s it. Amen. So why is it vital to come to Jesus as the son of God supernaturally born.

▶ 39:34 Because God said you are my son this day I have begotten you. Ask of me. And I will give you the nations for your inheritance. And the ends of the earth for your possession. God. Is giving Jesus Christ the supernaturally born. Son of God. The nations of the earth every culture ever raised ever what it is he God has given them to him that’s why it’s imperative it is vital that you come to Jesus. Amen. God didn’t give it to grace God didn’t give it to faith God didn’t give it to the Jews God didn’t give it to the protestants he didn’t give it to the catholics he gave it to Jesus Christ and if you want what Jesus is offering you as an inheritance where do you go.

▶ 40:42 You go to him. And it’s very clear when I’m talking with people on facebook about the Bible is they’re distracted from Jesus. And God made it clear that I’m given all the people on this earth to him didn’t Jesus say that no man can come to me except the father draws him. Amen. And didn’t Jesus say no man can go to the father but through me. Everything that we can get everything that we can attain. Is through him and that’s why songs that talk sing about Jesus are always in a higher elevation of God’s presence than any other songs we sing. Unless you’re singing a song to bring souls to Christ then yeah that works for the unbeliever the power of God works there too but you can come into the presence of God when you start singing about Jesus praising him worshiping him he comes.

▶ 41:50 Why because it’s important. That we come to him everything is into him any need you have is found in Jesus. Hallelujah. We’ve been programmed that the pope or a priest or a pastor or an evangelist can do things for us Jesus. Is the one given all nations. His inheritance. Is given all nations everything he has to offer us we get by coming to him could that be an amen. Hallelujah. Never diminish. Believing in the son of God supernaturally born God has given that son God in the flesh the nations and all the inheritance of God is wrapped up in him and the New Testament cannot be verified without the dest of death of the one that wrote the will the testament and Jesus died that means.

▶ 42:54 The inheritance is valid we can take our inheritance because he died also this stuff about you know salvation is free Bible never says salvation is free. He purchased us with that death. Amen he purchases he paid the price and that means we belong to him he bought us we’re in his kingdom and his kingdom has laws and we are to obey his laws we are under law. Can I hear an amen we’re not under shadow laws that spoke of the real stuff but we’re in the civil laws the wise laws. And the spiritual laws. If you don’t follow spiritual laws prayer praise worship reading the Bible fasting tiding those spiritual things you’re not going to get an inheritance you’re under those laws those spiritual laws work could that be an amen wise laws work if you don’t work.

▶ 43:59 You’re not going to eat. You got to go out and work you got to make money to and you know you got to. Learn how to take care of your body and good hygiene and all that wise laws there’s wise laws in the Bible we’re still under them we’re not under the shadow laws we’re not under the parables we’re not under the the examples because Jesus fulfilled them and he brought the good things they spoke about and we’re starting to win I’ve been talking with a guy for months. On facebook that called me every name in the book false prophet unsaved deceiving people and all the rest. And he is one of these once saved always saved salvation by grace alone grace alone faith alone no works.

▶ 44:53 This week after months. Of exchanging with this guy. He wrote me a comment and says you know I have to apologize. For the way I’ve talked to you. He says I knew by your previous post that you were no ordinary. Facebook poster. You know your Bible. And he says you are right it is Christ the Lord. It is his blood alone. It took months for this guy to have his eyes open. But folks if I hadn’t been there sharing the scriptures with him then the spirit would have had nothing to use to open his understanding that facebook is a powerful place to help the unlearned.

▶ 45:51 Learn the word of God. I tell these people you guys are distorting Paul’s words. Peter authenticated Paul’s teachings. And he authenticated it this way. They’re hard to understand. But unstable. And unlearned people. Twist Paul’s words as they do other scriptures to their own destruction I said it wasn’t a Paul gospel Paul was preaching as a lot of you say a Christ gospel and a Paul gospel a Gentile gospel and a Jew gospel I said you guys are all you’re really mixed up here there’s only one gospel there’s only one Jesus there’s only one savior is that an amen. Very clear in that but you got to have the spirit to open your understanding to them.

▶ 46:51 He said you guys twisted to destroy your life and other people. And I I encourage you. Get on facebook and preach. And this church needs to get the word out there’s people out there going to hell and there’s unlearned people that are destroying their lives because they’re unlearned and it’s not fair that they’re going to a church or not going to church and reading Christian books that aren’t helping them to grow and mature and live the best Christian life possible could that be an amen do we have a responsibility to get the word of God out are people going to hell today yes can we just retire and just uh you know enjoy this beautiful life we have in America are we still responsible.

▶ 47:43 To pray the Lord of harvest to what. Send forth laborers into the harvest we pray Lord bring in the harvest Jesus said no that’s not the prayer pray that I would send forth laborers skilled people that know how to bring in the harvest. Like you. Are you with me chuck. A guy businessman talked with me this week. And he says what this could do scoop about vaccine being the mark of the beast 666. And I said sir. Self-proclaimed prophets have been saying that ever since I’ve been a Christian for 60 years 50 years. They’re always coming up with something that’s the mark of the beast all the Bible says it it’s a number of a man’s name that’s all it says.

▶ 48:43 But we take it and we just go crazy with it I said the mark of the beast yes you can’t buy or sell but people have been persecuted by governments since Christ came. China russia they put you in jail you can’t buy you can’t sell you can’t take care of your family you die in those prisons I said it’s not just Christians hitler persecuted Jews and killed them I said you know. The mark of the beast. I said you know what they failed to tell you is in Revelations 15. John saw those. Who had overcome. The beast. They overcome his image they overcome.

▶ 49:36 His mark. And they overcome the number of his name so who cares what the number is and the person is who cares what the idol is who cares what the mark is we better care about a people who know how to be victorious over the beast over his name over the idol over the everything there. Amen. And they’re still here on earth. And that businessman just goes well well what about the end time I said they’ve been 10 wars and wars and then all the tornado and the pandemic and all that Jesus said that’s got nothing to do with the end time I said sir when you see the moon not shining the sun not shining and the stars falling from heaven you better know that Jesus Christ is going to appear in the heavens pretty quick could that be an amen.

▶ 50:43 And sir life will be going on normal. Buying selling marrying giving into marriage and they go wow that’s simple. Said yes the Bible is that simple. Hallelujah. I want to encourage you now in Acts 13 Paul’s preaching and Paul gives us the fulfillment of Psalms chapter 2. Paul says. In Acts 13 this is the fulfillment Jesus was raised up by God and fulfilling the prophecy in Psalms 2 you are my son today I have begotten you they say he also said in another Psalms 16:10 you will not allow your holy one to see corruption he tells the people Jesus Christ God raised up from the dead saw no corruption.

▶ 51:37 And through this man and here’s why it’s imperative that you believe in the son of God and you come to the son of God through this man through Christ Jesus that’s preached to you you can have forgiveness of sin you come to him for forgiveness of sin not to a pastor not to a priest not to a pope you come to him he has authority to forgive you of your sin can I hear an amen I don’t care if you’re a Christian and you’ve sinned last week you can come today to him and deal with that sin he will forgive you he will deliver you and he will heal you that sin. Amen. You don’t have to give up because you fail you can get up come to Christ and go out a new person hallelujah. Also.

▶ 52:29 He justifies you he makes you right before God. That Moses and all those shadow laws could not do and he will heal you your mind your emotions your spirit your physical body he will heal you. This is what Paul is saying when he is talking to them about Psalms 2 that Jesus is the fulfillment of that he is God’s only son and we can come to him and he says you better be careful that what the prophet said to be you despisers of a worker work in your day that you will not believe though it’s declared to you you better be careful that you don’t believe this supernatural birth by by God to produce a supernatural son that supernaturally laid down his life for you and supernaturally picked it back up again for you so you could have your inheritance in God amen.

▶ 53:32 And he has a lot to inherit not just salvation and eternal life there’s wisdom and love and all these good things. And in closing. As the musicians come. Isaiah. 49 6 says this. God said to Jesus God says to Jesus my servant. It’s too easy for you to raise up and restore Israel. I am going to make you a light to the Gentiles. And salvation to the ends of the earth. Hallelujah. And and folks.

▶ 54:24 God before he comes back is going to reveal himself to the Jews to Israel that’s what he says here in Isaiah. This is thousands of years after he spoke it Christ can’t come until this is fulfilled Christ is going to restore Israel back he restored their natural land but he’s going to restore their spiritual relationship with him they’re going to know he is the messiah and the Gentiles along with it hallelujah aren’t you glad you’re a Gentile that can have the inheritance of God this morning I invite you to come to Christ as mike comes to lead us in prayer first pray for yourself come and meet with God and ask God to do what you need him to do and then when you’re done with that don’t forget job was delivered when he prayed for his friends let’s pray as mike leads us for the nations of the world for the church and the world for other people’s physical healings and whatever let’s make God’s house a house of prayer today by coming to Jesus Christ.

Lord you are the answer you are the king of kings and the Lord of lords Jesus like we’re mine in Revelations God Lord those who overcome they will obtain that that prize to be with you to reign with you God and we want that this morning I invite you to stand right now. The scriptures say as he has been reminding us this morning. The scriptures say in Matthew 11 verse 28.
