The Serpent — December 13, 2020: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
At Christmas, Pastor David G. Kincer looks at the serpent. Satan masquerades as an angel of light and questioned God’s word, yet God’s plan was at work. Cain was rejected for his behavior, not his offering, and was told to rule over sin. The devil was a murderer from the beginning, but Jesus destroyed his power through death.

And so. We’re gonna sing a song it’s go tell it on the mountain. That Jesus Christ is born. Go tell it on the mountain. Over the hills and everywhere.
▶ 16:50 Go telling on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born. And what are we gonna tell we’re gonna tell the gospel. Amen. Arrest this generation. We’re turning over every stone. Hoping to find salvation. In a world that’s left us cold can we get back to the altar back to the arms of our first love there’s only one way to the father and he’s calling out to us to the captive it looks like freedom to the orphan it feels like home to the skeptic it might sound crazy to believe in a God who loves in a world where our the.
▶ 18:08 Gospel that makes a way. It’s the good news for us all. It’s greater than religion. It’s the power of the cross so can we get back to the altar back to the arms of our first love. To the skeptic it might sound. Crazy.
▶ 19:13 The gospel that makes the way. Mr. The amazing news gospel. Is not that we can receive Jesus our lives but that he’s already received us into own life his means forgiveness when I deserve the fall it called me out of my darkness and carried me to the cross.
▶ 20:06 My heart was. Changed. Crazy. Is. Mix.
▶ 21:11 The gospel that makes a way. The gospel that’s what it’s all about. Before I get started in the message this morning I want to thank you all of you for coming and worshiping here at mountainside. Facilities and all of you that are on facebook watching. Uh in many parts of our nation and locally. Those of you on facebook if you’d like to be involved with us uh further we want to just remind you that you can contact us at Mountainside Ministries. Online or you can call us at 951 fund church.
▶ 22:04 If you’d like to support Mountainside Ministries and its ministries only do it if you’re getting fed a church should feed its flock Paul said I have not ceased to declare to you the whole council of God and uh if you’d like to support the word of God. Go online to Mountainside Ministries. And you’ll find our website there and our first facebook page there and you can. Find a way to. Support financially also if you’d like to help in the youth the youth are on Friday tuesdays. Driving a van or just helping with food or whatever. Um again give us a call or contact us um if you’d like to help us start a children’s church we have a problem because of the pandemic of being having enough staff to bring the neighborhood ken kids in now and keep them quarantined.
▶ 23:12 But with enough helpers we could actually keep kids quarantined in their age groups and if you’d like to help in that area and you’re local here we’d appreciate you contacting us and let’s minister to the children of our community. Also the school we have five days a week if you’d like to help there janitorial work uh. Just helps work just things that the church needs done we’d be glad to have you work with us. And of course getting the gospel out I have been reaching thousands of people on facebook. Every week. I have gotten a lot of conversions. It is not a waste of time.
Where is the ministry reaching?
Short answer: Conversions to Christ and to truths people didn’t know, across Africa, Asia and beyond.
▶ 24:04 And not just conversions to Christ but conversions to truths that they did not know before how many of you know if you didn’t know a truth you would like someone to show you one yes you want the whole counsel of God and so if you would like to help in that area or support it financially. Uh or learn how to advertise and do it yourself on facebook or maybe you’re good at graphics and you’re good at storytelling and you’re good at making a pictorial. Post on facebook we would be glad to have your input so you can even though you are. Extended not really involved directly you can still be a part of this church and its ministry to the local community to its people and to the world on facebook we are literally reaching the world.
▶ 25:01 Africa asia you name it uh we’re there. So be encouraged the gospel that last song is so true the gospel is the key. Paul said I preached Christ and him crucified we can argue over doctrine until doomsday but it is the gospel that’s going to bring people to Christ and keep them maintained in Christ so with that. Let us continue in the word of God Ecclesiastes 1 9. What has been done will be done again what has been will be again there is nothing new under the sun and we asked ourselves is this true and we’re finding it is true from Genesis 1 all the way to where we are at now in Genesis 4.
What is the key to Scripture?
Short answer: Christ, the mystery kept secret since the world began.
▶ 25:54 All right the key to understand. The Old Testament and New Testament scriptures are these keys given to us the Old Testament was written for our example for our warnings for our learning. And both the Old Testament and the new were written for our prophet our correction our rebrook rebuke and instruction and perfecting. Or maturing being complete. In God fully equipped. The sacrifices in the Old Testament the sabbaths in the Old Testament the Saturday day of rest in the Old Testament the feast and the tabernacle are examples of shadows and good things to come and examples and shadows of heavenly things so when we have that understanding and we read the Old Testament we understand God is teaching us we have examples we have patterns.
▶ 27:00 And also. In Romans 16:25 Christ is the mystery that is kept secret from the beginning of the world. See he is there in the Old Testament but he’s in parables and metaphors and things like that that you have to be enlightened to to seek Christ from Genesis 1 all the way to Revelations the last chapter so those are the keys and those are the keys we use to open up the word of God to us now we are going to go to the serpent in Genesis. The snake the serpent. We know in the old in the New Testament. They opened up the scriptures to us about everything including the serpent he is Satan and in second Corinthians 11:14 it says Satan himself.
Scripture in this part
Romans 16:25 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began
— Romans 16:25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:00How does Satan appear?
Short answer: He transforms himself into an angel of light.
▶ 28:05 Transforms himself into an angel of light or he uh masquerades as an angel of light he’s not really a messenger of God to God’s people he is masquerading as one not only that but the New Testament tells us he is the angel of destruction. The angel that came through in Egypt and over in Revelation that is Satan the angel of destruction he is the serpent Revelations tells us that o serpent the Devil he is the dragon in Revelation he is the tempter the accuser and the tester and the liar the thief and the robber and the murderer in the gospels. He can influence and did influence the disciples.
▶ 29:02 Peter and all those disciples to say to Jesus that he couldn’t die on the cross and Jesus said get behind me Satan you do not favor the things of God but the things of men Satan can influence us to choose men’s ways instead of God’s ways he is a real deceiver and as you know judas. Satan entered into him and he betrayed. The son of the living God that he put his trust in and belief in and preached the gospel to so those are all the titles all the names of the serpent so we’re going to go to Genesis. Chapter 3 verse 1.
Scripture in this part
2 Corinthians 11:14 (NKJV)
And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
— 2 Corinthians 11:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:05What did the serpent say?
Short answer: Has God indeed said you shall not eat of every tree?
▶ 29:54 The serpent. Said unto the woman has God said you shall not eat of every tree of the garden. You shall not surely die God knows that in the day you eat of that tree of knowledge and good and evil. Then at that time your eyes will be opened. And you shall be as gods. Knowing good and evil. All right Satan was right here. They didn’t die that day they died 900 years later their physical body did die. Eaves and Adam’s eyes were open. Okay that dead and they became as gods that day knowing good and evil but what Satan did not know.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 3:1 (NKJV)
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
— Genesis 3:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 29:54Did God want their eyes opened?
Short answer: He teaches that God wanted them to know good and evil — and Satan didn’t understand that.
▶ 30:59 Is God wanted their eyes. Open he did not know. That God wanted them to become like God to know good and evil as God created them to be remember God said let us make man in our likeness and in our image part of the likeness of God is knowing good and evil. Are you there. All right he did the same thing with Jesus he moved Herod to kill all the babies trying to kill Jesus when he was a baby. He moved the religious leaders and the civil government leaders and the people to try to oppose. Try to keep him from dying on the cross and or I mean not keep him from dying to die on the cross.
▶ 31:54 You know they did not understand that was exactly what God wanted. Are you there. And so Satan is always playing right into the hands of God’s plan. The lawbreaker Eve who broke one law don’t eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The Bible as we saw last week said that her seed Jesus would destroy Satan’s authority Satan’s power. And forgive and cleanse and deliver not only Eve but all sinners down through the future generations. See Satan didn’t know that. What he got Eve to do.
▶ 32:47 Was all part of God’s plan. He wants his people’s eyes open he wants them to understand good and evil and follow good can I hear an amen it’s all about good and evil God is good the Devil is evil. And he restored Adam and Eve back to himself back to a good relationship with him he gave him eternal life their spirit lived forever. And he gave them eternal life without the tree of knowledge I mean the tree of life he gave them eternal life without them eating of the tree of life. Hallelujah isn’t that right that’s right okay it’s his plan all along and it’s by the way of Jesus blood when God sacrificed that first animal killed it and clothed them with skin that was the parable the metaphor the story of Jesus coming to die for the sins of the world Adam and Eve accepted it God forgiveness and lived righteously all the days of their life.
▶ 34:02 Amen they did good they lived good the rest of their life see that was God’s plan at the beginning and we learned last week that Jesus died before the foundation of the world see the plan of God was to make human beings and bring them to himself to the death of Jesus Christ isn’t that powerful only a supernatural God can write a book like that and have a plan like that and fulfill it. So. Satan played right into the plan of God from the beginning. Okay. And he always has been there’s a lot of things Satan does not know and there are some things that Satan does know so.
▶ 34:56 Let us look at this serpent. Satan. We’re going to remind us ourselves again Ecclesiastes 1:9 what has been done will be done again is this true all right can God predict things like that and carry it out. We’re going to take a look at Satan’s next victim. To do that we could go to Joel. Who Satan accused before God that if you didn’t do good to him he wouldn’t serve you if you let bad things happen to him he would curse you to your face well God knew job wouldn’t do that so he allowed Satan to take job’s health jobs wealth and his children he killed his children and job as we know did not deny Christ one of the most powerful books in the Bible.
▶ 35:59 All right. Followers of God are going to follow him whether bad things happen or not that’s what the book of job tells us and it tells us the power of God to keep us through bad times as well as good. David we could go to when he was moved by Satan. To number Israel without the census offering and brought a curse upon Israel. The apostles. As we mentioned earlier. Were. Influenced by Satan and even Jesus. When Satan came in the wilderness to tempt Jesus. See we could use any of those. And many others throughout the Bible but we’re going to go to Satan’s very next victim.
Why was Cain rejected?
Short answer: Not because of vegetables but because of his behavior: if you do well, will you not be accepted?
▶ 36:56 And that was Cain. Cain as you know the Sunday school story. Offered. Vegetables unto God. Abel his brother offered. An animals unto God like God had offered when he clothed Adam and Eve Abel followed the pattern okay God. Would not look upon Cain’s offering he wouldn’t gaze he wouldn’t the king James says respect. King James does not always use the right word you know a lot of king James only people attack the niv and other uh versions of the Bible and the king James version has a lot of problems.
▶ 37:51 With the translators using the right word. And you need a good lexicon. To avoid misusing these words could that be an amen. The niv is a good version for reading I I’ve read it through at least three or four times. And it has footnotes at the bottom when it removes a scripture because they say it wasn’t in early transcripts they have a footnote saying what the scripture is so come on let’s stop fighting over versions of the Bible. And let’s study and learn the word of God could that be an amen hallelujah you need a good lexicon no matter what version you use. Now. So. Not only that. Because God would not respect.
▶ 38:45 And that’s a good word he wouldn’t look upon he wouldn’t respect now folks. We’re to love our enemies. And we’re to do no harm to anyone but respect is different respect must be earned. And I know the fundamentals are going to jump all over me for using that word earned. But why would black people. Want to associate. Anna and you know. Uh. Mingle with people that put them down uh make fun of them and abuse them see. Respect. You’ve got to behave in a manner to earn people’s respect if you are not going to treat them right they don’t need to respect you they don’t need to look upon you all right they still got to love you.
▶ 39:44 You know if your donkey falls in the ditch they got to help you get it out all right those things but they don’t have to respect you so respect is a good word here but look upon or gaze at look at is the right word okay and the second thing is his countenance fell. And the Lord said why are you so angry and your face fallen well Cain never answered that question and that is the question that the Holy Spirit comes and asks all of us why has your countenance fallen your faith is the countenance why has it fallen why you know everything you do is expressed through the faith faith if you’re happy the faith shows it if you’re depressed the face shows it if you’re angry the face shows it if you’re trying to move something you can’t move the face shows it right.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 4:3-7 (NKJV)
And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”
— Genesis 4:3-7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:56Why did his countenance fall?
Short answer: From anger reacting to correction; doing good would lift it up.
▶ 40:44 Okay. And when you’re angry that countenance comes out and it falls. It falls from reacting to a condition within us Cain never answered or admitted. He was angry anger was his problem he wouldn’t have confessed it and he wouldn’t repent from it okay he didn’t answer that question and God always comes to ask that question in you why are you sinning why are you committing adultery why are you stealing why why why why does he ask that so you can admit you’re wrong and repent and turn from it and find forgiveness be cleansed from sin and have eternal life so we have the whole gospel story right here in Genesis 4. Okay remember it was written in secret since the world began hallelujah.
▶ 41:43 Now we have the secret so God says to Cain do well. Or do good the tree of what. Good and evil the tree of what good and evil their eyes were open do good don’t do evil don’t harm others don’t behave in a manner that harms yourself. Evil is harm. That’s another synonym for it do well and then the king James puts in you will be accepted okay you will be is not in. The original writing. All right it just says do well do good. Rise the word is rise.
▶ 42:35 Okay so why did he use the word rise here because the countenance had fallen. And if you do good the countenance will rise back up to the level that shows you’re a healthy living human being amen isn’t that powerful yes. That’s the gospel truth and if you do not do good. If not if you don’t do good sin lies at your door sin is the violation of God’s laws. God not able rejected Cain do you understand that God rejected Cain God would not look upon Cain. And his offering. Because of his behavior.
▶ 43:30 Not because of his offering. Okay. God did not reject Cain because of the vegetables. He rejected him because of his anger and trying to sacrifice unto God without repenting and changing. Amen. Now. Sin lies at your door okay now king James puts in the word sin in the next verse it’s not there. But it is in the context sin. Sends desire. The only word there is desire or longing okay. Desire. Longing.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 4:6 (NKJV)
So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?
— Genesis 4:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 40:44What must Cain do with sin?
Short answer: Its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.
▶ 44:22 Rule over. Longing to rule over Cain. Or. Longing to rule over sin. Or longing to rule over Satan. As we’re going to find out in the next. Slide all right. How many know we’re to rule over Satan. Hallelujah how many know where to rule over sin yes see this verse says both but the king James doesn’t get it the translators didn’t get it and that’s okay that’s why you have lexicons and that’s where you have to study. So you get it amen and then you have the confirmation that it’s carried out through the rest of the Bible hallelujah so cane talk with Abel that’s what people want to hurt you do treachery it’s called they act like they’re your friend and your good buddies and all that and then Abel rose up and killed.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 4:7 (NKJV)
If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”
— Genesis 4:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:22Who was Cain of?
Short answer: Not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother because his works were evil.
▶ 45:31 Cain rose up and killed Abel okay. Now we go to John first John 3:12 not as Cain who was of who. The wicked one be not as Cain who was of who the wicked one the wicked one the Devil long to rule over Cain now you get it and that last verse. The Devil longed to rule over Cain the Devil was at the door longing to rule over Cain and he is at your door longing to rule over you but you must rule over him amen. Hallelujah now that’s powerful. And why did he murder Abel. Because his works were evil that’s what I told you earlier it wasn’t the offering.
▶ 46:23 It was his behavior he would not admit he was angry he would not admit he was doing evil things. Okay. And so God would not look upon his offering God would not accept it he rejected it. And you can worship God you can you can pretend you see real people worshiping God in spirit and truth and you can you know offer the sacrifice of praise like they do but if your behavior your character your heart your spirit is not doing good God will not accept it. You will not find the presence of God in that praise you are just pantomiming those who know how to find God in praise he inhabits the praises of his people amen hallelujah.
▶ 47:18 And you don’t want to be a pretender you don’t be a masquerader like Satan see Satan masquerade there’s a lot of people that masquerade even in the church world are you with me. Now. He murdered him because his works were evil and his brothers were righteous and folks. Adam and Eve were righteous people after they messed up the first time. And Cain didn’t kill them. But he might have if God had not banished Cain from their presence that was his punishment all right. Evil folks. Evil people hate and harm righteous people today because righteous people expose. Evil people’s life so they put us down.
▶ 48:13 Verbally they mistreat us and even kill us because we stand for right are you with me this has been carried through from Genesis 3 to present day. People that don’t want to serve God are always putting down the people who do and the Bible that they follow and Jesus who they serve amen so Ecclesiastes 1 9 nailed it. Nailed it right on a hit the nail on the head. Now. We’re going to go to John 8:44 where Jesus is talking to the scribes the Pharisees. The. Sadducees and the these people that followed that didn’t want him he said to them you do the works of your father the Devil that’s what Cain did.
Scripture in this part
1 John 3:12 (NKJV)
not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.
— 1 John 3:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 45:31Was the devil a murderer?
Short answer: From the beginning.
▶ 49:09 He was a murderer from the beginning the Devil was a murderer from the beginning. Satan didn’t kill Abel. Cain did. Satan was the source. Are you understanding this church see see Satan lied at Cain’s door he’s lying at your door. He’s wanting to rule over you. And he’s wanting sin to rule over you so Satan was a murderer from the beginning why because he was a source of Cain killing Abel. Do you see that amen. He does not stand in truth for there’s no truth in Satan he is a liar and the father of lies. Now we go.
Scripture in this part
John 8:44 (NKJV)
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
— John 8:44 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 49:09What became of the serpent?
Short answer: The great dragon, that serpent of old, was cast out.
▶ 50:04 To Revelations. The great dragon was cast out that serpent of old called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world. He was cast to the earth and his angels were cast out with him. In Revelation 9:11. Whose name in the hebrew is abaddon and in the greek apollon which means destroying angel and destroyer. You see it was Satan that came through in Egypt to destroy the firstborn Satan is the destroyer in Isaiah 54 it said I made the waster to destroy. He created Satan to destroy two ruined things because God can’t do evil.
▶ 50:56 God can’t and do harm to you so he allows Satan to come and do those things. And he can’t do anything Satan can’t allow God’s approval so if he allows Satan to come and tempt you or test you it’s because God already knows you’re going to pass the test. Amen he already knows you’re going to pass the test. Now it gets better than this. The thief comes to steal kill and to destroy. See he wants to steal your relationship with God he wants to steal your righteous life he wants to destroy you he wants use you to destroy your family destroy those around you. But Jesus said I have come that you might have life and life more abundantly and in Timothy it says the life that now is abundantly and the life that is to come we’re going to have abundant life on the other side after we die but in this life God Jesus also said I come to give you abundant life more than you can handle more than you need isn’t that a powerful promise hallelujah looking unto Jesus the author and the finish of our faith bless my life now.
Scripture in this part
Revelation 12:9 (NKJV)
So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
— Revelation 12:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 50:04What did Jesus do to the devil?
Short answer: Through death He destroyed him who had the power of death.
▶ 52:23 Hebrews 2:14. This is this is really good through death he Jesus might destroy him who had the power of death that is the Devil you see I told you Satan worked right into God’s plan. God wanted Jesus to die the scripture says it pleased God. To bruise crush Jesus it please God why because in the beatings and the abuse of Jesus. And his death is killing he restored the whole world of humanity to himself. So it pleased the father. To have Jesus beaten. Mocked. Mistreated and die hallelujah through death Jesus destroyed Satan.
▶ 53:19 Who had the power of death past tense he can’t destroy you now he can’t ruin you now because Jesus paid the price on the cross for you and Satan cannot touch you is that an amen hallelujah yes give God a clap offering so Jesus is powerful. And his gospel is powerful. But look at this one as the musicians come to sing the river all right look at this one and look at the context. It was written in pay careful attention here. Mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine you have learned. Church.
▶ 54:14 Why did Paul says I have not ceased to preach Christ and him crucified I have not ceased to teach you the whole counsel of God. Because it’s those teachings. It’s those teachings. Of truth that set you free. And when people in their behavior. And in their speech. Divide from that. And offend others. The Bible says avoid them. Don’t go around believers like that. They serve not our Lord Jesus Christ. But their own belly and by good words and fair speeches.
Scripture in this part
Hebrews 2:14 (NKJV)
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
— Hebrews 2:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 52:23Why are people destroyed?
Short answer: For lack of knowledge; Satan deceives the simple.
▶ 55:10 They deceive the hearts of the simple the unlearned. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge the Bible says the unlearned. And then he makes this powerful statement powerful statement the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet. Shortly when you come to Christ there is a short season where Satan can test you and tempt you and try to waver you from following the gospel but there is the end of that short season where you. Get the knowledge to put Satan under your feet just like Jesus destroyed the power of Satan through his death you through the truth destroy the power of Satan over your life amen.
▶ 56:10 To serve the living God. Now we learned last week that the river flowed from the throne of God. The river of life only has life because God and Jesus are the life the tree of life only has life because its roots are in the river of life. Whose life comes from Jesus and God on the throne amen. Hallelujah and the river of life the Bible says is the Holy Ghost this spake of the spirit that pours out of you amen. So when we come to the river we’re coming to God and Jesus on the throne. And as we partake in communion this morning. Remember communion is a remembrance of Jesus’s birth.
▶ 57:06 Death and resurrection. We’re to be reminded that he took the beating he took the pain he took the mockery he took the shame so we didn’t have to take those things he suffered so we don’t have to suffer in this life or in the life to come is that an amen and the blood is the new covenant. He will put his word in my mind and in my heart and scribe it. We will all know God from the least to the greatest amen. He will do the this is the new covenant and if we do commit sin he will put our sin as far as the east is from the west that’s the new covenant and we can all know God that’s the best part of that covenant we can all know God we don’t have to have a minister telling us about God we know him hallelujah.
▶ 58:10 And as we sing this song and come to Jesus the source of the river where there’s mercy there’s healing there’s cleansing. He can heal you today folks your physical body just ask him and keep asking he can heal your mind he can heal your sinful life he can heal your broken emotions he is the healer hallelujah. He’s the cleanser he’s the forgiver whatever you need this morning as we take communion you bring it to Jesus. As can we should be passing this out. All right. Remember Jesus death on the cross. Saved you from sin and keeps you safe from sin and in all of our remembering we renewed need to remember why Jesus was born why died and why he rose from the dead the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death that resurrected.
▶ 59:20 Direction of Christ by the spirit lives in us and we can live in him amen so this morning if you want to take your problems. Your questions your situation to Jesus we just stand where you’re at. And let’s sing to this. Song. We’re going to start with the verse of course I mean precious Jesus I am ready to surrender every career. To. Surrender. Every jesus.
▶ 1:00:26 I am ready. To surrender. Every care. Take my hand. Down leave me closer. Lord and the night he betrayed the Bible says Jesus took bread and broke it distributed to every apostle. The Bible says his body was broken for us not a bone was broken but his body was broken for us his body took the suffering for all of us and the Bible also says that we are the body of Christ. And if we’ve got any offense to any member of Christ’s church this is a good time to remember.
