▶ 0:00 Found that angels coming appeared to Zechariah and gave him a message that his old wife who could not have children was going to have a child then that angel came to marry a virgin. Wasn’t married and knew no man and told her she was going to have a child and he would be called Jesus and he was going to save his people from their sins then. We saw when Jesus was born we had to supernatural births so two supernatural angels appearing two great messages and then the angels appeared to the shepherds out in the field around Bethlehem. And gave a message unto you this day is born in the city of David a saviour which is Christ the Lord savior Christ Lord Lord is top authority top power he said you’ll find this baby and swept in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger in Bethlehem these guys took off went down the sea and found out it was true they went and spread the message throughout the region but none that heard it went to see Jesus then.

What they described as a star and that star had a message there’s a king born and Judah the king of the Jews the king of the world the king of kings I want you to go worship him I want you to take in gifts and these wise men traveled for four months we found it takes four months to travel from the east to Jerusalem when they got to Jerusalem the star disappeared. So they went into Herod the governor of the land and asked where’s the king of the Jews well that’s the last thing you want to tell that there’s another king and so Herod didn’t know what to do so he got the priest the priest came and they said yes it’s in the scriptures that the ruler will come out of Bethlehem.

The priests didn’t go down the greatest message that the earth is heard for 400 years of silence from the prophets and they did not go and respond. 40 days later Jesus went to the temple to be circumcised according to the law and to be offered unto God.

They were astonished at his knowledge of the scriptures but they didn’t know who they were talking to. And the Bible says that Jesus grew in spirit and wisdom and stature and in grace and folks that is our pattern we need to grow after we come to Christ we need to grow then an amen and we need to know him and recognize him so we don’t hear from Jesus for 18 more years he went and became a carpenter.

He had nothing to repent from because the Bible says there was no sin in him. And when there’s no sin in you honey you know you’re not gonna sin.

Amen we’re supposed to go about doing good works so that the people around us see our good works and bring glory and honor to God in heaven amen and these people say not by works they don’t understand the Bible it’s talking about the shadowlaw works not the spiritual law works or the civil law works or the wise laws it’s talking about the shadow laws shadow laws cannot bring you into anything Jesus fulfilling them did amen.

If we want to come to church like most people do and hear a little music and do a little worship and then hear inspirational message then go home and do our thing we’re not going to affect the world. It is amazing that Jesus was driven to fast and pray for 40 days and people today who want to reach people don’t do that. Are you there part of the pattern is fasting and prayer. Then at the end of the fasting and prayer who shows up the Devil Satan and he tempts Jesus three times and Jesus three times overcame Satan by the word he quoted the scripture folks you got to be into the book could that be an amen you got to read this thing and study this thing and when the adversaries come you have scriptures to neutralize him.

Thinking thing he just simply spoke the scripture and Satan was silenced bam bam bam bam bam bam done and then the Bible says Satan left him for a season. For a season that means Satan come back alright our adversary the Devil now. After these events. The Bible says he came out in the power of the spirit. The power of the spirit he got baptized in after he got water baptized fasted and prayed for forty days and overcome Satan now he comes out in the power of the spirit our problem church is we try to go and win people and influence people without the pattern to give us the power to have the impact.

And the news of him spread and everyone praised him and honored him they loved his teaching but when he went into the synagogue and said I am the one that has the spirit of God upon me to preach the gospel to the poor to open the blinded eyes to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and liberty those that are bound mend up the brokenhearted when he said I am him I am the messiah I am this the fulfillment of this promise then.

Hope you guys understand that by now that Jesus was God in the flesh. Jesus said I don’t do these works the father in me does the works who the father in this physical body does the works amen and there’s many other scriptures. Folks if you think you’re going to live for God and follow God and not be rejected by your family and by people you are missing the whole thing the Bible says they that live godly in this present world will suffer persecution in that right if you’re not sir furring suffering persecution and people not getting along with you it’s because you’re not living godly because you’re godly life your stand for Christ will threaten them and they’ll attack you.

Are you their church. If you don’t have people disliking you and resisting you it’s because you don’t really serving Christ in a godly way. Just think about it alleluia and I’m not talking about ridiculous things about how long your hair is and what kind of clothes you wear I’m talking about the 10 commandments and the righteous word of God amen. They tried to kill Jesus they took him to the brink of the hill gonna throw him off now they hear they are trying to kill God that is that is ridiculous you can’t kill God but they don’t know he’s God because they got the religion and nobody’s moving them and when Jesus was ready he just shook free and walked away from him and they just stood there.

Again he’s teaching in the temple and they were astonished at his doctrine for his word was with power. His word was with power he not only had the spirit of power he had the word of power and what I’ve been saying to this church for 40 years there’s two things you need in the church and what are they the spirit and the word the living word and the power of the spirit those are the two things that is going to save people and mature people and that’s the church’s responsibility is to save the unbeliever and to mature the saint is that an amen that’s our two main responsibilities so they were astonished at his doctrine because when he spoke he spoke with authority he spoke with life he spoke with power and the word set people free.

▶ 18:39 He was in the synagogue and he’s in there teaching as he Bible says was his custom he went into the synagogue on Saturday and that their custom was did get a scroll and read it well he was teaching and then a guy was there with an unclean Devil a demon and that. Demon started talking I. Don’t know if you’ve had any encounters with demons but they talk not through the mouth they talk from inside it’s the most amazing thing I one of the most amazing things I’ve ever encountered that demon talks from within and he talks in a voice that is unhuman humans cannot mimic it. Ok and this demon starts talking let us alone what do we have to do with you Jesus of Nazareth are you come to destroy us yes he did he come to destroy the kingdom of darkness the kings Satan and his demonic spirits.

▶ 19:49 See these demons have certain knowledge limited knowledge and if you’re not living for God they can embarrass you they can embarrass you. Really good because they have certain knowledge. Now. That demon says I know you. Who are we supposed to know Jesus aren’t we the demon says I know you Jesus of Nazareth you are the one holy one of God you’re the messiah you’re the one that was promised to come you’re the king I know who you are. Look. They are in the synagogue only Jews could go to the synagogue. So it’s pretty obvious that this guy had been coming every Saturday to the synagogue.

▶ 20:47 And the synagogue leaders didn’t. Understand he had a demon. The teachers of the word didn’t comprehend he had a demon. Is. This thinking in. It is sad as spiritual leaders that we have spiritual leaders that don’t have enough fasting and prayer and the word of God in them to deal with demonic powers when they come we got. Well that’s not God’s best you know you haven’t a demon isn’t God’s best but we’re not going to judge you what what kind of leader is that. The congregation that was there in that synagogue every Saturday didn’t comprehend that this guy had a demon.

▶ 21:46 But Jesus came as he was teaching the word the word exposed the word has power and this demon starts talking and I’m I tell you church it’s a it’s a bone-chilling thing they use fear when that thing starts talking fear fills the air and the first thing you’ll want to do is run for somebody. To handle it you don’t want nothing to do it. The second thing that happens is. Jesus said come out of him for words no big sermon no display of none of that just come out of him that’s it for words what do we see today big theatrics whole lots of words in the name of Jesus look man speaking up up up but you come up a big I don’t know this and the demon just stand-in there.

Now the president is called the day of prayer and most people are just going to pray artificially Lord bless our nation they’re not going to get down get ahold of God and let the spirit pray through them about our nation because we are so formulated to act like we’re spiritual. ▶ 23:42 Go through the motions that’s one of the big things in the church world right now is they’re going through the motions of worshiping God in spirit and in truth and they don’t have the reality of worshiping God in spirit and in truth they’re mimicking people that do worship God in spirit and in truth they raise their hands so we raise our hands oh they do this so we do that and and so forth but they don’t have that heart to seek God and worship him in spirit and in truth they’re just imitators I ran into demon imitators I’ve ran into people possessed with demons as I told you that the demon comes out with a high streak it’s a it’s an impossible thing for a human voice to do it it’s almost at a dog’s level of hearing it is something else it just I can’t even mimic it.

▶ 24:40 And they beat them. They start beating the God-possessed to try to put you in fear and remember they can’t touch you. If you’re prayed up and fasted up. But use the seven sons of cephas you try casting out a demon and you’re not prayed up and fasted up and bought by the blood up that demons gonna whomp your head okay let me give you an illustration. Back in the vine in la habra I had this big guy a big thing come in I don’t know what he was he was about four foot wide like a sumo wrestler he stood about a foot over my head I had to talk to him like this to it I couldn’t tell if there’s a man or a woman he wore clothes like a man he had a haircut like a man like blake but he talked like a woman.

So this big thing sits down and he says I want you to catch the demon out of me I am the child of of the satanic church in san francisco. Antoine davay I said you are antoine de vaes child yes I am and I’ve been in this satanic church and I need to demon cast out of me this is where the Holy Ghost comes in.

He wants you to stand up and you know like they did with the prophet do you know to cleanse the lepers are supposed to do all this stuff and command and all this he’s this showboating the Holy Spirit says ask him for his id ask it for his id I didn’t know what this thing was yet and I started probing for a demon I didn’t find one okay I had experienced the demons before so I can’t I knew how to probe for them and find them.

He stood up in a rage curse me out army and my life was physically in danger but I was at perfect peace when you’re doing the will of God when I go to third world countries I can go to the jungles I can go in the gorilla infested areas and know that I’m going to come out because God sent me there if I was there on my own you better believe I would be saying that the statler hilton and you know I’d be protecting myself but you can have the confidence and I told a gang leader this once who came to my house wanting to be delivered and wanting to get saved but he was afraid of what the gang was going to do so I told him I said sir I will go down to the barrio where you’re at he was a hell it was a mexican mafia guy leader and he was huge ever had my oldest son scared to death and I said oh if you’ll accept Christ he will protect you he will make a way for you like we heard this morning I.

There is no excuse if you reject Christ amen. Anyway and I mean the presence of God was there he was convicted but his fear of the game and really all he had to do is leave their area jeez that’s pretty simple anyway.

He said he wrote a letter of apology that he came in there the way he did he found Christ and he was really sorry for the way he acted and behaved in that beautiful amen yes God has power these things work no. But that’s the phony one and church we don’t want to be phony when it comes to the things of God if we’re if we’re going to worship at least do the sacrifice of praise and worship not to pretend the praise and worship don’t pretend you’re meeting with God if you’re not just do the sacrifice and when you’re really meeting with God just enjoy it you know make oh don’t make a big display and draw attention to yourself will be I got it for the rest of you that are you hearing me hallelujah so they were all amazed when the Devil left.

Supernatural events. They will speak with new tongues how can you say tongue are of the Devil that is just ridiculous because you’re afraid.

That’s the difference between the power of the word and the power of the spirit and folks I grew up in that fourth awakening where I saw the power of the word and the power the spirit working I saw amazing things and experienced amazing things and I saw the imitators of those things too the imitators just trying to do it like the guy that had it did it and they didn’t have anything to do it are you there and it brought a bad name upon the movement and finally it fell away but in Matthew it says go and make disciples of all nations and it says the Lord work with them confirming the word with what signs following church this is what the world needs this is what.

▶ 34:21 Young believers need they need a supernatural God working in their life and they need to see the power of God working in their life now I’m 77 years old almost and my time is coming into the sunset but you young ones you can fast you can pray you can get into the word and God will enable you to reach the unbeliever and mature the saints could that be an amen.
