Jesus’ first message was repent. He taught simply, cast out demons without theatrics, touched the leper with compassion and never advertised. What is missing in the American church is the power of God; Paul preached in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.

Short answer: With Paul and Silas praising in prison from Acts 16, worship, and prayer for a heart like Mary’s who sat at Jesus’ feet.

▶ 0:01 Good morning welcome thank you for joining us it’s good to be in the house of the Lord we’re going to start this morning with a story from the scriptures. It says in Acts 16 verse 25 at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God and the prisoners were listening to them and suddenly there was a great earthquake the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were open and everyone’s chains were loosed and the keeper of the prison woke up. And so from this story we’re reminded that the scriptures are true it says out of the mouths of babes and sucklings I have ordained praise to still destroy the enemy and that is exactly what was happening here Paul and Silas who were doing the will of God obeying God’s word out there ministering and and doing what God said to do God back them up and they used praise and worship to shake that jail to bring God right there in that room so I encourage you this morning.

▶ 1:15 This morning let’s worship with that kind of attitude that as we do the God’s will this next weekend on Easter we’re going to be reaching out to people let’s trust that God is going to bring his presence his power and minister to people that he’s going to shake uh the prisons right so would you stand with me let’s worship and praise our God this morning. ▶ 6:39 Many shall hear it and hear the Lord. They shall. That he shall hear and fear the Lord. Many shall hear and fear the Lord they shall trust in him.

▶ 8:06 Jesus is in the midst of us today and we have a great reason to celebrate and declare all that God has done and the nations will hear it as they see us raising the banner the banner of our salvation the banner of our Jesus who has come to do great and mighty things and to draw the world unto himself and during this time of Easter during this time we are celebrating our God and declaring all that he has done for us amen. Will celebrate our God we will.

What is this message about?

▶ Watch this part (26:00)

Short answer: The third message on a typical Jesus gathering: set captives free, preach to the poor, heal the brokenhearted.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 26:00 Please God we ask for a heart like hers and we thank you this morning in your precious name everyone said amen you may find your seats this morning. This is our third message. On a typical. Jesus gathering. At Jesus service. Today we’re going to be talking about the message of Jesus Christ. In Luke chapter 2 verse 49 we have the first recorded message of Jesus. He said I must be about my father’s business to the priest in the temple and to Mary and Joseph. I must be about my father’s business and remember we’ve learned that the father’s business is to let your light shine before men.

What was Jesus’ first message?

▶ Watch this part (27:01)

Short answer: Repent and believe the gospel—not grace, not faith: change your thinking and turn to God’s ways.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 27:01 Set the captives free preach the gospel to the poor restore sight to the blind heal the brokenhearted. Liberate the bruised. And preach the acceptable year of the Lord. The will of the father the father’s business that sinners are saved. And Christians that have backslidden are restored. It’s the business of the father to give you abundant life the life that now is and the one that is to come. And remember Jesus said as you sent me into the world even so send I then his second recorded message is he was preaching. And he said the time is fulfilled the time is here the kingdom of God is at hand the kingdom of righteousness peace joy and power in the Holy Ghost is here and as you know Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you not a natural kingdom like the world has he wants to rule in your life in righteousness peace and joy and power.

▶ 28:23 In the Holy Spirit. Then he says repent. That’s his first message. He didn’t say grace he didn’t say faith he said repent change your thinking. Turn from your ways to God’s ways from your sinful ways to God’s righteous ways and believe in the gospel put your trust. In the gospel Jesus was born of a virgin. He came and preached the kingdom of God he did miracles and signs to confirm. That he was God doing these things he laid down his life on the cross because no one had the authority and power to take it and he picked that life back up again the third day and rose from the grave so that we can be free from sin forgiven our sins and have eternal life and walk in this world as an example and a witness to him.

What did He tell those who followed?

▶ Watch this part (29:29)

Short answer: Come and see; seek the Lord while He may be found and with all your heart.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 29:29 Trust in the gospel. The third recorded message. Is to. People followed him after they heard John the Baptist say behold the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world these two out of the whole crowd followed Christ after he was baptized. Shouldn’t we all be following Christ not some preacher not some famous book or famous video but Christ the author of a famous book or all the famous video follow him and that’s what these two did and Jesus turned to them and said what do you seek. And they said rabbi teacher.

▶ 30:22 Master teacher. Where. Are you going where do you live where are you going to stay and Jesus said come and see now the Bible says seek the Lord while he may be found call you upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let them turn repent to the Lord for he will have mercy upon them and our God will abundantly pardon. Following and seeking Jesus is the key because he is the savior there’s not some magical formula there’s not some minister somewhere that has the power Jesus is the one to seek could that be an amen.

▶ 31:16 And when we find him we find. What we need. The Bible says in Jeremiah that you shall seek me and you shall find me when you search for me with all your heart and I will be found of you so seeking God like these two did following Christ seeking Christ wanting a teacher that could teach him the word of God not like the scribes and the Pharisees were teaching which was lifeless. They needed a teacher that could teach them the word of God and set them free. Now the next recorded. Is in Luke 2:49 Jesus is very specific and very simple in his teaching he is very direct.

Scripture (NKJV)

John 1:36-39 (NKJV)

And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!” The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?” He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour).

How did Jesus teach?

▶ Watch this part (32:10)

Short answer: Simply and specifically, no jokes to flatter; follow Me and I will make—fashion—you fishers of men.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 32:10 And he’s very simple. He never said any jokes or anything to get flatter the people or to keep them attentive. Jesus when he taught talked very persis specifically. And very simply he had dressed everything directly. Follow me. He said follow me. That’s what those last two were doing following him and Jesus invited them in to him. So Jesus is telling us all to follow him not some denomination. Not some charismatic leader but follow him any good minister. Of the gospel no matter how powerful they you they are used of God will direct you to Christ.

▶ 33:08 Amen and his word of course. Now Jesus not only said follow me and I’ll make you fishers of men the word make there is I’ll fashion you I’ll shape you so we need a little time to get shaped we need a little time to get formed we need a little time for God to work on our life. And we become fishers of men and remember this promises to all believers not just select ministers see these signs shall follow them that believe. In our lives in our last slide it said believe believe they that put their trust in God they that believe they can have God working through their life. So Jesus also used that word when he says.

▶ 34:02 If you follow me I’ll make you a ruler over many things God is destined for Christians to be rulers in this life. Not under rulers but rulers of that follow righteousness and truth. He also used the word make when he said I’ll make ready a people prepared for the Lord how many want to be prepared for a mighty visitation of God amen. And he said I’ll make you ready he also used this word when he said that the son makes you free fashioned you shaped you and get you free you will be free indeed or you will be totally free. That’s right after he said continue on my word. And you shall be that my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free Jesus is also the truth his word is the truth and if Jesus the truth sets you free you are free indeed hallelujah but we need to be made we may need to be made.

How did Jesus deal with a demon?

▶ Watch this part (35:15)

Short answer: He simply spoke—no theatrics, incense or ritual—and told it to be quiet.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 35:15 In mark chapter 1 verse 25 when he ran across a demon he didn’t use any hoku poka stuff like they did in the movies. You know like they did in pentecostal circles where they would touch people with the Bible and touching people the Bible that had a demon are supposed to bring some kind of reaction. And so when they’re programmed to react guess what they react. And I would step in and say this is a bunch of baloney. Touching people but the Bible has nothing to do with demons. Are you there. But we come up with this stuff or they’ll say say Lord say Lord because a demon can’t say Lord. Well the demons did say we know who you are. The demon did call him Lord we know who you are.

▶ 36:10 He simply spoke no theatrics. No incense. No ritual at all he just simply spoke directly to the demon and said shut up because the demon was saying I know who you are you are the son of God I know you who you are. He says you be quiet and you come out of him and bam. Instantly bam the demon came out see Jesus was specific. Specific. And simple. We today think that our contortions and our you know if we squint our face enough or we cry out loud enough in the name of Jesus or whatever that you know maybe it’ll work no. Jesus works the work.

But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”

Why go to the next towns?

▶ Watch this part (37:04)

Short answer: That He might preach there also—don’t limit the message to your own circle.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 37:04 Hallelujah. Now. There’s my beautiful wife. He said. His next recorded message let us go into the next towns it’s imperative that we hear this don’t just limit your message to your family. Don’t limit it to on the job or your little circle Jesus said we got to go to the next towns and then the next towns and the next towns. Could that be an amen see he’s very specific. And he’s very simple he didn’t have to have our long messages.

▶ 37:58 To get to the hearts of the people. That I may preach there also in these other towns for this is the purpose for which I have come Mark 1:38. Now. We see here in this that he spoke directly to the problem whether it was a demon and as we follow on through the word whether it was sickness. Or sin or whatever it was he spoke directly to the problem. Today we want to. Beat around the bush and soften things up because we don’t offend anybody Jesus kept it simple Jesus kept it specific and direct. The next recorded message.

Scripture (NKJV)

Mark 1:38 (NKJV)

But He said to them, “Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.”

How did Jesus respond to the leper?

▶ Watch this part (38:55)

Short answer: Moved with compassion, He touched him and said I am willing—Christ is willing today.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 38:55 In mark chapter 1 verse 41. A leper was there and sort of if you will you can cleanse me and Jesus mood with compassion. Wow. I have prayed for decades. For that kind of compassion he used this word several times. And it’s genuine with him it’s not fake he was moved with compassion. With pity. With empathy. Hallelujah wouldn’t you like to experience that. You know women are pretty good at it they can get in faster than us men they’re they’re kind of emotional to begin with but this is real compassion it’s not it’s not crying because this guy’s got leprosy.

▶ 39:53 It’s real compassion. And he stretched out his hand and he touched this leper. And he said I am willing. And church whatever your need is. Christ is willing. Today’s the day of salvation. The promises of God are yes and amen amen. And as soon as he spoke those four words five words. Immediately instantly the leprosy was gone and he was cleansed. Now folks I have seen this. I grew up at the beginning of the fourth awakening. Where God in the late 40s.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Mark 1:40-41 (NKJV)

Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

What happens after God moves?

▶ Watch this part (40:46)

Short answer: He raised up evangelists and healers, but imitators follow, like the sons of Sceva; he recalls the Holy Spirit outpouring across denominations.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 40:46 Raised up Billy Grahams to save people. Like. John the Baptist he did know miracles but he raised up others like Oral Roberts and some other ones that. Actually healed the sick and you could see the border disappear. Bam there wasn’t no get a doctor’s confirmation thing it was bam. Hallelujah the stuttering. Tongue bam the tongue was loosed. And the person could speak right there bam. The deaf ears open. The person that could not hear when they called his name he goes huh what. For the first time.

▶ 41:41 But then the imitators come along there’s always the imitators they see people being used of God and they go out like the sons of Sceva and try to imitate and mimic that which God was doing through someone and they haven’t been given the authority. To do that. And so. The imitators start watering everything down and you know if you believe you can be healed and you’re not healed because you didn’t believe you didn’t have faith if you’d had faith you’d have been healed this this just turned everything around in the 50s. So God came in the 60s. And he started pouring out his Holy Spirit on churches that didn’t believe in it. And I mean the Holy Spirit was speaking in tongues tongues tongues.

▶ 42:36 And he started with the episcopalian church and he worked through all the denominations until the catholics in 1968 he came to the catholic church and just poured out his Holy Ghost on the catholics and they spoke in tongues whether you want to say they’re not for today or not God did it you look at history and you will find I’m telling you the truth I lived through it and I because I was going door to door and mixing with people and preaching the gospel to different people I got to experience these people. Are you there. But then the mimickers come in. You know. Some special formula to get the Holy Ghost God didn’t need him at the beginning he just came and did it he didn’t send anybody to do it he just came to the denominations and did it hallelujah.

▶ 43:29 And the by the way the charismatic and the pentecostal stuff they had a handle on the Holy Ghost well God in the 60s so they didn’t have a handle on the Holy Ghost and he showed the group that didn’t believe that the Holy Spirit was for today the baptism he showed them yes it is I’m the baptizer and here I come. Hallelujah. The imitators. Then the hippie movement came. And these rebellious hippies. Rebellious against the establishment of rebellious against anything normal God just started saving them and chuck smith was used mildly in that area and you know just because somebody’s used doesn’t mean a hill of beans God was doing a work but then the imitators came in even in chuck smith’s own church lonnie frisbie went back to the vomit.

▶ 44:31 Lonnie Frisbee was the youth leader of Calvary Chapel that really brought the hippies in he had the charisma he had the spirit on him and it was powerful and then he went back to his homosexual lifestyle. Back to the vomit and chuck had to deal with it and I agreed a lot of people didn’t like it but you have to deal with that. Amen and chuck did and chuck also dealt with the wild fire that was going at that time. I don’t agree with everything chuck smith taught but he did a lot of good for the American. Uh church he was used of God amen. Now. After this happened. They came to him in desolate places Jesus this this leper went out and broadcasted.

How did word of Jesus spread?

▶ Watch this part (45:30)

Short answer: He never advertised; the power of God and word of mouth drew the crowds.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 45:30 What happened to the world and so it made. Jesus’s life very dangerous from those who wanted to kill him so he went out into the desert remote areas. No cities no towns and they came to him in the desert places from every direction. Hallelujah. He went to them and they came to him and church when we can. Seek God and get God moving. Yes we go out and we go to them but when they begin to see God moving they will come to him also hallelujah. Remember Jesus didn’t advertise and he didn’t sell trinklets. Am I right in fact he corrected the people twice who was in the church of God selling trinkets merchandise in the house of God.

▶ 46:33 Jesus never advertised. His the power of God in him was the advertisement and there’s nothing like word of mouth when somebody gets healed they’re better than the newspaper. You know the blind man goes back to his town and to his family and he can see that gets attention when the comes walking back into the room that gets everybody’s attention. Amen they want to know what happened and they go to find. So. We see here that Jesus by his words he just healed the sick cast out demons. People repented people believed people sought and followed him. And he made him into fishers of men and he made him to rule.

▶ 47:28 And many things in this life and the Bible says in Romans we rule in life by one Christ Jesus we don’t have to wait for no rapture or anything we can rule in life now. And that’s what Jesus did. Now the next. Recorded message. Is he is preaching inside a house he came back into an area and went into a house. And he preached to them inside and outside the house here it is again. Get out of your little safe domain and share that gospel with others amen the basic gospel just say I love Jesus I’m a Jesus person that’s what I used to say when people will say something offensive to me I’d say I’m a Jesus boy.

▶ 48:22 And I even had a little badge that said I’m a Jesus boy uh yeah Jesus saved their son I always wore a pennant. And it was small enough to where they had to get. What’d that say. Four people came carrying a paralytic. And they couldn’t get into the house because of the crowd outside of the house. So they climbed up on the roof of the house opened the roof and let him down to Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith you see here faith should be seen. If you are filled with the Holy Ghost it should not be by faith it should be an experience that could be seen by others in the change of your life could that be an amen yeah if you are really born again and saved it should be seen.

Scripture (NKJV)

What did the paralytic’s friends show?

▶ Watch this part (49:25)

Short answer: Faith seen in action—Jesus saw their faith and forgave his sins, then he rose and went home.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 49:25 By how you speak now and how you live now faith should be seen not just faith in your faith faith that I have something I don’t have. Faith should be seen and when you possess something the Bible says you don’t need any more faith for it or hope for it you have it. Why why are you still asking. He said to the paralytic. Now this just. This just explodes as a young Christian read in my Bible this just exploded to me. He said to this crippled man son your sins are forgiven this God didn’t ask for forgiveness. Here I’m out there trying to get people to ask for forgiveness this guy didn’t ask for forgiveness.

▶ 50:24 They just brought him to Jesus and Jesus. Saw their faith and honored the faith of the believers. And forgave this paralytic sin. Without a sinner’s prayer oh my gosh how can that be. Are you with me and we shared last Sunday in the last message that the woman or a prophecy came I’m sorry. Came to Jesus never asked for forgiveness. Just washed his feet with her tears and dried them with the hairs of her head and Jesus said her sins which are many are forgiven she never asked for forgiveness either how do you know God can move in your life without some uh ritual from you.

▶ 51:16 Oh I read they worked this way and I worked that way well God may well may want to work differently in you didn’t he come to Paul on the road to Damascus. And turn Paul’s life around yes hallelujah. So as a young Christian man this is this was powerful. And then he said so that you people may know the son of man has power on earth to forgive sin which is easier for me to say your sin is forgiven or be healed. What’s the difference same power. Same God same source. And then he says to the paralytic. Rise take up your bed and go home and immediately.

▶ 52:08 From those words. He rose and picked up his bed and went home. Now folks. That is addressing things specifically. Simply and performing it. That’s the difference between a service that Jesus was running than at church services today in America. Hallelujah. And where did we ever come up with the formula that we have. Somebody passed it on to us. Didn’t the Bible say that he will do a new thing. Aren’t you interested in the new thing God wants to do I am I am deadly serious I don’t want to keep doing yesterday’s stuff.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Mark 2:3-12 (NKJV)

Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

What is missing in the American church?

▶ Watch this part (53:05)

Short answer: The power of God—not a school, children’s program or dynamic worship; he recalls healings and deliverance he has seen.

▶ 53:05 I want the freshness of God in my life and in this church is that a good amen yes. Now. I want to repeat this is what’s missing in the American church. Including this one. Including this pastor. You know. One of my mistakes was getting so involved and trying to build a new building. And. Prepare young leaders. That I got away. From seeking God and staying in tune. Hallelujah. And we’re where we’re at today. And that wasn’t bad things it just.

▶ 53:59 I got distracted. It is the power of God that makes the difference it’s not a Christian school. It’s not a children’s church program it’s not a worship service that’s dynamite it’s the power of God active. In the church and he doesn’t have to wait for an altar call to touch people he can touch them right where they are. And I’ve seen this in my life. I’ve seen it at the vine when it was a coffee house and we were ministering to the drug cultured people. And. Over one handful. Was healed just during the service.

▶ 54:53 From drugs. Especially one. Pair that came in they were twins. And they come into my office I was in my office preparing the fine details for the service and they came in and I didn’t know beans back then about drugs I never took drugs I stayed away from them I saw my acquaintances destroy their lives so me and drugs we had nothing to do with each other from go from step year one period when they brought it up. But these two guys were obviously high the way they talked the way they acted. But when the service started and we worshiped and back in those days. God so favored that group that he would just come with a powerful presence powerful presence. And in that worship service these twins.

▶ 55:48 Got healed just like that and the people around them knew. The ones that knew them and they knew God has done something here and they told me after the service those two guys were high. And bam and then they came to the altar and you know they gave their life to Christ and I never seen him again. But I never seen a lot of people again after God met with them. But the key is to allow God to meet with them amen what they do with it is their decision. When I was in el salvador I’ve told you this before. I was brought out into the jungles to minister at a similar God church. And I did not know that they had a big split and the church was down to just a handful and God gave me this message because I seek God for a message for that church everywhere I go and he gave me this message that was so revolutionary to me myself.

▶ 56:53 And I knew the assembly of God didn’t believe in this so I went to the pastor and I said this is what I want to teach and they always brought me in for three services. Okay and I would teach for three services. Well I taught he gave me permission and you should when you know there’s going to be a conflict you should discuss it with the church leaders you don’t want to embarrass them and embarrass yourself. Anyway I taught this message that geez. Just so powerful is unbelievable. Never seen it before. And God. Began. To move in that message. And they had a speaker outside the church where it was. Messages broadcast the next service the church was full the third service the church was full and there was a multitude outside the church that couldn’t get in.

▶ 57:56 God restored that church but this is the point I’m preaching in that last service. And the presence of God came so thick. That I had to step away from the pulpit. And my interpreter John farrow. I looked at him and I said John have you ever experienced anything like this I mean it was almost like Jesus was going to appear. And when he comes you don’t want to be in the front you don’t want to be doing anything you just step back and let him do what he wants to do could that be an amen. And John said I’ve never seen anything like that I’ve never experienced anything like this and so we waited there for several minutes and it started dissipating but during this time.

▶ 58:50 This crowd that had children with them there was no nursery no children’s church or anything these it was like for a period of time everything was frozen. Nobody was moving nobody was making any noise nobody was talking outside the church or inside the church they all recognize the powers presence that come to work on them. And do a work inside of them hallelujah. Then after it dissipated I stepped back finished the message and then I found out after the service what had happened. Okay that they had a big split and all this and God healed and brought everything back and more to boot not just the old members.

How did Paul preach?

▶ Watch this part (59:43)

Short answer: Not with persuasive words but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; the kingdom is not in word but in power.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 59:43 New ones came in amen. Instantly God can do things. Not just heal the sick so in closing. In first Corinthians 2:4. As the worship team comes to. The communion service part of this service. Paul said it very clearly now listen to me church listen to me those online Paul said it very clearly. We want to talk about Paul’s grace and faith and we’re not under law and all that but that Paul said this my speech. My preaching my doctrine my teaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom.

▶ 1:00:39 Did you catch that. But my speech and my preaching. Was in the spirit. And of power. Wow. And demonstration. Of the spirit. And power. Say that with me in demonstration. Of the spirit and power we can’t heal we can’t save and we can’t really teach unless he’s given us something to say and he anoints what we speak. But what we need is what Paul said here demonstration of the spirit not just believing. What someone said but experiencing. What the word says by the spirit of God and that power could that be an amen.

▶ 1:01:40 And I challenge this church and I challenge those online just like I do those on facebook. We need to get away from just teaching and song services that are doing nothing. In most of these churches they just sing and that’s it what’s next. Not looking for prophecy not looking for. Prayers of the spirit or anything just okay and then some churches they bring in a big ban and lights and stages that go up and down and all this stuff. And those churches we find corruption it was just out again this week big churches nationwide. Corruption horrible corruption. See you can’t you can get a crowd by doing certain things but you cannot get disciples.

▶ 1:02:34 Unless you have the power of the spirit and the power of the word and the power of the name of Jesus could that be an amen. Hallelujah. He also said. The kingdom of God is not in word not in speech it’s not in talk. But the kingdom of God is in power. Supernatural ability God can come supernaturally fill you with the Holy Ghost heal your body forgive your sins but we need to seek him like Jesus said seek me follow me come to me and this is all the church can do is I’ll give you an invitation to come to Jesus with whatever you need and then it’s Jesus responsibility.

▶ 1:03:34 To touch you amen. Now I’ve seen healings. Even in our church maybe one or two a year on a average I remember a guy came in that had a tumor. In his head a brain tumor. And they were going to operate on him and he was scared of dying so he came to church. And he came for several months. And. The church prayed for him the church prayed for him not the elders not the pastor. We all prayed for him. Anyway his day came when he was going to be operated on and he had to go in and be scanned to see if the tumor had moved or anything so they could follow through on the operation.

▶ 1:04:31 Well when a scan came back the can the tumor was gone. Absolutely gone. Now he was excited for a couple of weeks. But then he went right back into sin. And my point is this. God heals. As he chooses to heal we had people in the congregation that I thought deserved to be healed and I told him that these are good people what what’s what’s with this this guy comes in by my way and then he goes well what’s the deal here. Yeah. And that’s basically how I talk with God you know what’s going on. But see he’s God he chooses what he does and when he does it could that be an amen he knows everybody’s heart and he does what he wants to do when he wants to do it and we’re just to follow him and allow him the chance to do it could that be an amen.

▶ 1:05:35 Hallelujah I wasn’t even there once in a Bible study I was on vacation and this woman pops her head in on the Bible study I was told after I came back and said do you guys believe in healing and the leader of the Bible said of course we do he said pray that I can get pregnant they tell me I can’t get pregnant it’s impossible for me to get pregnant I want to have a child now would you guys pray so they prayed for her well some weeks later she pops back in her head through the door I’m pregnant. Never seen her again. Never seen her again. Hallelujah. Folks we need the demonstration of the spirit and power we need the kingdom. Not in a bunch of talk but in power and if you are willing to be a participant of that will you.

How does the service close?

▶ Watch this part (1:06:33)

Short answer: Nothing but the blood, communion remembering His body and the new covenant, and prayer for the demonstration of the Spirit.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 1:06:33 Sing with me what can take away my sin nothing but the blood of Jesus welcome make me pure within. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. If it comes up here. Well. Would you be free from your burden of sin. There’s wonderful power in the blood. There is. There is.

▶ 1:07:51 Would you be free from your passion and pride there’s. There is power. There is power. If you want God to demonstrate himself in power and in spirit in your life.

▶ 1:08:53 If you want God to do that in your church where you go to those of you online will you stand with me. And let’s take communion together which reminds us of the death burial and resurrection of Christ that’s why it was given to us to remind us of the power that’s in Jesus laying down his life picking it back up again. He took bread and he blessed it and he said this is my body which was broken for you. And when Jesus died the veil of the temple ran into a God showing confirmation that all can enter into the holy of holies and meet with God now all believers can have signs following them all believers can be used of God doing God’s business all believers can be filled with the Holy Spirit whether you speak in tongues or don’t speak in tongues the key is the power of the Holy Spirit coming up on you.

▶ 1:09:57 Father we I thank you. For your body that was given for us the beatings. The crown of thorns the spear in your sight the nails in your hands and feet. Lord Jesus we just appreciate this day. You giving your life for us you died that we might live. And we thank you Lord that. That bruce bonnie brings healing to us by your stripes we are healed from sin we can be healed from sicknesses we can be healed from fear we can be healed from doubt whatever we need to be healed from the power is in Jesus Christ who died for us and with that Lord we take this bread and asked you to demonstrate yourself in our life and in the church amen.

▶ 1:11:03 Likewise the Bible says he took the cup. And he said this is my blood. And this is my covenant. My contract with you I’ll put my word and your minds in your heart you’ll all know me from the least to the greatest your sins and iniquities I will remember no more and I will be your supernatural God and you will be my people. He sign that covenant. With his blood and dying on the cross. Jesus again we just thank you. That you sacrificed yourself. That we could live for you and Lord we asked you again let there be a performance of the word of the Lord that has been spoken as Mary declared let there be a demonstration of the spirit and power.

▶ 1:12:09 Not Lord just being satisfied with good messages. Good preaching. Encouraging talk but Lord. Don’t let us rest until we pursue and find. The demonstration of the power of the spirit and the word and the name of Christ in our services. Let’s drink together. Third verse would you be whiter much whiter than snow just sing this as a prayer to. In the God.

▶ 1:13:05 Sin stains are lost in its life. There’s one fourth verse. Would you do service for Jesus will you choose today to serve him and follow him. Seek him. Until you find him. There is. There is power.

▶ 1:13:58 Power. Oh there is power. Power. Wonder. There is power. Is. Yeah sing it again you’re personal.

▶ 1:15:04 Song to God. There is power. Oh let’s worship him let’s thank him let’s accept his invitation. Of power in our life today. Jesus.

▶ 1:16:01 Jesus. Jesus. Hallelujah. There is. Oh there is.

▶ 1:17:12 Is. Of land. In the precious. Jesus. Lord Jesus we come before you this morning as we take up the offering right now God. And Lord the scriptures say that you will build your church.

▶ 1:18:07 And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it God we pray Lord God that we would get in step with what you’re doing. With how you’re building your church. How you’re going to do it and Lord that we would be in your army and in your service God. Lord following and doing what you want us to do Jesus we pray that you come mightily and sovereignly to us and God Lord convey unto us what you want to do. Jesus we want to hear your voice so that we can follow it wholeheartedly. Lord not confused about what we should do Lord not guessing but Lord clear. Jesus you when you build your church the gates of hell shall not prevail and God Lord we want to do what you’re doing.

▶ 1:19:05 We thank you this morning. And we ask that you bless the rest of this time together. Everyone said. Amen. We want to thank you those online for joining us we appreciate you joining us online we trust that you also want to be a part of what God is doing building his church like it says he said those words himself. That the gates of hell shall not prevail he’s going to build his church and we trust that you also want to be a part of that so thank you for joining us God bless you and have a wonderful day and God.
