The Lamb’s Wife Part 2: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
In “The Lamb’s Wife Part 2,” Pastor David G. Kincer teaches from Revelation 22 that the river of life and the tree of life are in the church now. He also covers who is outside the city, the Spirit and the bride saying “come,” the cost of accepting the invitation, and why he says Jesus wants to come to people quickly, not only at the second coming.
What is the river of life in the church, and how is knowledge different from the tree of life? (Revelation 22:1)
Short answer: He says “you are the temple of the living God,” so “when we come together all of our streams come together and make one big river.” He says Adam and Eve’s mistake was thinking knowledge was enough: “the knowledge is got to bring us to the life,” and the church should be “known for the river of life flowing in it.”
▶ 0:01 And it proceeds straightly. And where does God live? Where’s his throne? You are the temple of the living God. He set up residence in you, so you have a source of God directly from God, and when we come together, all of our streams come together and make one big river, and people can drink out of it if they choose, and that’s what they need. They need to drink of this life. Remember in the Garden of Eden there was the tree of knowledge and the tree of what? The tree of life. We make the same mistake Adam and Eve made. We think because we got knowledge of God and knowledge of the Bible that we are in, but until we eat of the tree of life and get touched by God, and he is involved in us, that birthing, we’re not in.
▶ 0:56 Knowledge isn’t it. The knowledge is got to bring us to the life. Hallelujah, and he’s inviting us. The church has this. The church should be known for the river of life flowing in it. See, that’s why God said, “They that worship the Father must worship him in spirit and truth.” Why? It’s that spirit and truth worship that produces that river of life that people can drink from. And that’s why he says you’ve got to preach the living word. Why? Because it’s the living word that pricks people’s hearts, that convinces them and convicts them to change their ways. So we got to have the living word and the living presence of God, amen. That’s the church. Now, we’re supposed to be that now, and there is a time coming on earth where this is going to happen, I mean overall.
▶ 1:54 Now, don’t get me wrong, there are people who experience this, you understand that, but the major, the church is not experiencing this. They don’t even know this stuff. All they know is a big bad beast are coming and the antichrist and the [unclear] and all the rest, and they know nothing about the powerful church God is raising up in the earth.
Scripture in this part
Revelation 22:1 (NKJV)
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
— Revelation 22:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:01John 4:24 (NKJV)
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
— John 4:24 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:17 (quoted; reference not named in the message)1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
— 1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:09 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is the tree of life in the church, and why are its leaves for the healing of the nations? (Revelation 22:2)
Short answer: He says Jesus is “the tree of life,” “the river of life” and “everything,” and that it bears fruit “every month” so you can get “fresh joy, fresh peace, fresh wisdom.” He compares the leaves to photosynthesis: we absorb his light and then “release that word of God, that life that comes like oxygen.”
▶ 2:14 “In the middle of the street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, yielding fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” In this city, in this bride, in this church, there’s not only the river of life but there is the tree of life. And I selected this picture because it illustrates it right, except for all this greenery. This is a spiritual thing, got nothing to do with grass and flowers. They should have had a paved street going down through there, but this is the only one that had the tree whose stump went on both sides of the river, and that’s exactly what Revelation says, the tree is on both sides of the river. Hallelujah. So the water’s flowing under it, doesn’t it?
▶ 3:08 Oh, I love that illustration. Now, in the church, it’s supposed to be the tree of life. Now, who is obviously the tree of life? Jesus Christ, duh. Who’s the river of life? Jesus Christ, duh. Who’s everything? Jesus Christ, duh. He’s it, man. And there’s fruit, and it produces fruit. How often? Every month. Every month fruit is produced. When you need mercy, you need faith, you need joy, you need peace, every month you can get fresh joy, fresh peace, fresh wisdom. Are you there? And where is it found? In the church. But even if you don’t have any fruit, the leaves of the tree are the what? Healing of the nations. Church, we have the leaves of a tree, as you all know, through photosynthesis from the light mixing with the light, create an energy and a food for the tree and release oxygen into the air so people can breathe.
▶ 4:31 Now isn’t it interesting that Jesus said its leaves are for the healing of the nations? See why? As we are in the presence of his light now, who’s the light of the church? Jesus. And see, through us being in his presence, we feed our spiritual man. Are you there? The photosynthesis, only this is the spiritual synthesis. See, so we need to recognize Jesus and absorb his presence, absorb his light, and then we get energy, spiritual energy for a spiritual man, and then we release that word of God, that life that comes like oxygen is released, that causes others to be able to, what? Have life, come to Christ and go through it, too. You see how, you see the big responsibility the church has in the earth. You see why it’s important for us to come together.
▶ 5:49 You see why it’s important for us to grow. See, we are the key to the biggest harvest that God has ordained in this, in his creation that he has created, through the church. The principalities and powers know the wisdom of God, remember that, through the what? Church.
Scripture in this part
Revelation 22:2 (NKJV)
In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
— Revelation 22:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 2:16How do we get the right to the tree of life? (Revelation 22:14; John 1:12)
Short answer: He says this requires repentance: admitting “he was a sinner,” renouncing sins, and asking Christ to forgive and cleanse. He says “as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,” and that we get up after mistakes, but “when we want to justify our sin and just stay sinning, we don’t have a right.”
▶ 6:17 This is powerful, church. “Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.” See, Dave [unclear] had to repent. He had to admit he was a sinner, and he had to renounce those sins, ask Christ to forgive him of those sins and cleanse him from those sins, and then God was faithful to what? Cleanse and forgive, and then come to Dave [unclear]. See, the Bible says in 1 John, or John 1:12, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.” And that comes by me what? Agreeing that I’m a sinner, I need saved, and Jesus is that Savior and inviting me into my life, and then I have what? Power to be made into a son of God, into a mature bride, into the holy city, New Jerusalem.

Revelation 22:14 (NKJV)
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
— Revelation 22:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:19John 1:12 (NKJV)
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
— John 1:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:50Who does he say are the “dogs” outside the city, and what does he say about homosexuality? (Revelation 22:15)
Short answer: He reads “outside the city are dogs” and says “what’s a dog in the Bible? Homosexuals,” along with sorcerers, sexual immorality and other flagrant sinners. He says “there’s no scripture for being bisexual” and that people are born in the sex they are created in, and that he has led many homosexuals to Jesus.
▶ 7:21 This is exciting stuff. And if I don’t keep his commandments, and you know, we make mistakes, but we got to still, the principle of repentance, we get up and what? Keep going, isn’t that right? We don’t quit. But when we want to justify our sin and just stay sinning, we don’t have a right to this tree of life or the river of life. “Outside the city are dogs.” Now, what’s a dog in the Bible? Homosexuals. Flagrant sinners, people that disdain God, sorcerers, witchcraft, people into, you know, the signs of the heavens and astrology and all that stuff, sexual immorality, whether it’s incest, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bestiality. You. Uh, there’s a thing going through here about being bisexual. There’s no scripture for being bisexual. We are created in the sex we were created in, and that is a lie.
▶ 8:42 You’re believing a lie out there when they say you can be bisexual, you can [unclear] either one. It’s a lie. When they say homosexuals are born that way, people that know the book aren’t deceived by the lie. It says in the last days he’ll bring them strong delusions that they believe a lie. One of the lies is they’re saying that homosexuals are created that way. That’s a lie, and they have proven that was a lie. Science have proven it, that there’s no homosexual gene. You have to learn the habit. Are you there? And so we got to stop this nonsense of bisexual and homosexual and all that. God knew what he was doing when he created us. Are you out there? Amen. And church, I have led many homosexuals to Jesus Christ, many. Some of them went back, just like drunkards went back and drug addicts went back.

Revelation 22:15 (NKJV)
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
— Revelation 22:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:502 Thessalonians 2:11 (NKJV)
And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
— 2 Thessalonians 2:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:57 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does he say about murder, idolatry and “the lie”? (Revelation 22:15)
Short answer: He says that if you hate a race or social status, “you’re a murderer,” and that “greed is idolatry.” He says “evolution is a lie. It is a theory, it’s not a fact,” that a child in the womb is not “just a piece of flesh” but “a real being,” and that the Bible is “a book of truth,” not “a book of faith.”
▶ 9:47 Sin is sin. Some of them went back and came back, and some of them came and stayed and are serving God today, and it’s been over thirty years. The cross works for anybody who will work it, amen, but we can’t believe the lie.
▶ 10:12 “Murderers.” He says if you hate people you’re a murderer, when you, you know, hate a race or hate a social status, the rich or the poor or whatever. That’s, the Bible says in the New Testament, that’s the source of murder, and so you stop it at what? Hatred. You don’t look down on anybody. Amen. Now, that’s got nothing to do with criminals. Criminals need to be brought to justice, isn’t that right? “And idolaters.” And greed is idolatry. If your whole life is about money and that’s all you talk about, live for, and whatever you’ve got, you’re serving an idol, you’re worshiping something other than God. “And whoever loves and practices a lie.” You see, and we got a lot of lies going on in our generation. Evolution is a lie. It is a theory, it’s not a fact.
▶ 11:08 They have no proof of any of it. They give you enough stuff to frustrate you and think, and they make these beautiful charts and all the rest, yet they have no tangible evidence to back it up. They still have not found one connection from one species turned into another. It absolutely isn’t there. Are you there? This child in the womb is just a pile of flesh, just a piece of flesh? No, it is a real being. See, people of the book, don’t believe the lie. These people that say the book, the Bible, is a book of faith, they’re lying to you, and many Christians believe the lie. They think the Bible is a book of faith. Nowhere in the Bible does it say it’s a book of faith. All through the Bible it says it’s a book of truth.
Scripture in this part
1 John 3:15 (NKJV)
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
— 1 John 3:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:13 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Revelation 22:15 (NKJV)
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
— Revelation 22:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:53How do “people of the book” know the lie from the truth?
Short answer: He says people who “drink of this water, this river of life and this tree of life” “have met the life, they know his nature.” He says as a young Christian he could say, “I tell you that’s not the nature of the God that I met,” and later found in the word that the lie was wrong.
▶ 12:15 See, people of the book, people of Christ, people that drink of this water, this river of life and this tree of life, they don’t believe the lie. They have met the life, they know his nature. Maybe they don’t understand it all. When I was a young Christian I didn’t understand it all, but because I met God I knew his nature, and so I knew what was wrong when people would come to me. I said, “I don’t have an answer for you, but I tell you that’s not the nature of the God that I met.” And sure enough, as I learned the word more and all that, then I found in the word that they were wrong. Hallelujah.
Who is saying “come” in Revelation 22:17: the Spirit, the bride, and whoever hears?
Short answer: He says “three people saying come”: the Spirit, the bride (“we are”), and “whosoever hears.” He says we are to tell people “come to Jesus,” not “come and join a church and get a baptism,” and that even a new Christian with flaws can “also have the right to say” come.
▶ 12:57 Revelation 22:17: “The Spirit and the bride say, Come! Let him who hears say, Come! Let him who thirsts come. Whosoever desires, let him take of the waters of life freely.” Now look at this: there’s three people saying come. The Spirit, which is Jesus, which is God, he’s saying, “Come.” Most of us has felt that voice pulling us, huh? Drawing us. But not only the Spirit is saying come. Who else is saying come? The bride. Who’s the bride? We are. See, we’re telling people, come to the tree of life, come to the river of life, come to Jesus. Man, your life can be transformed, it can be revolutionized, it can be totally changed. Come and drink of him. Don’t come and join a church and get a baptism or said to come to Jesus. Are we telling people to come?
▶ 14:10 We’re supposed to be. “And whosoever hears says, Come.” Okay, this person isn’t the bride. Maybe they’re a new Christian and they got a lot of flaws in their life. They haven’t got on that righteous linen yet, except positionally through the blood. They still may curse and they still may lie and do some things that are not right, and they’re working on it, but Jesus said because they listen to the message, “come,” and they came, they also have the right to say what? Come. You know, I might be perfect yet, and I may have some faults, but come, man, this thing is real, come on in. Amen. “And then who is thirsty, and who desires, let them come and take of” what? A church membership? A help-the-poor program? A visit-to-sick program? No. What is the issue here?
Scripture in this part
Revelation 22:17 (NKJV)
And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
— Revelation 22:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 12:57What is the “payment” for the free water of life? (Revelation 22:17)
Short answer: He says the water is free of money, but “there is a payment”: “the humbling of yourself to respond to this great invitation.” He says some are “too proud and they miss out,” but the church is still saying “come” to all, naming homosexuals, liberals and a magazine publisher.
▶ 15:25 Come and take a drink of the waters of life freely. The only thing you have to do is just respond, accept his offer. It isn’t quite free, but you don’t have to pay any money for it. You don’t have to do [unclear] for it. You just have to believe, accept, admit you’re wrong and ask him to forgive you, cleanse you and do this work in you. That’s the payment. There is a payment. It’s the humbling of yourself to respond to this great invitation. Amen. And some people can’t pay that price. They can’t humble themselves, admit they’re wrong, admit they need Jesus and ask Jesus to come into their life and give him to drink of those waters. They’re too proud and they miss out. But the church is still saying what? Come. Homosexuals, come. Liberals, come. Uh, Hefner, come, publisher of Playboy, come. Come. Amen. And the Spirit saying, “Come.”
Scripture in this part
Revelation 22:17 (NKJV)
And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
— Revelation 22:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:26Is this for now or the future, and what does “quickly” mean? (Revelation 22:6-7)
Short answer: He says “it’s not something in the future,” that “this needs to happen in every generation,” and that “this is not necessarily talking about his second coming.” He says Jesus wants to “do a quick work in the last days,” and “I don’t want to take all your lifetime.”
▶ 16:51 Now, in closing, I want to show you that this is for, I want to show you that it’s for now. It’s not something in the future. The Lord, and I showed you this in earlier messages, “the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angels to show his servants,” who his servants? Who’s his servants? Us, the church, the bride, the whole heavenly Jerusalem, “things which was what? Come to pass at the end of the world, or shortly come to pass.” Shortly come to pass. Why? Why? Because this needs to happen in every generation. The church needs to be saying come. The church needs to have the river of life and the tree of life in it. The church needs to be illuminated by the presence of God, Jesus Christ himself, in every generation. The church is the one that is the vehicle to bring in the nations on to God.
▶ 17:53 And this is not necessarily talking about his second coming. “I want to come to you now. I want to come to you in your generation. I want to touch you with my tree of life, with my river of life. I want to make you a bride that’s prepared for her husband, that the world can look at and say, ‘Yes, that is a person who Jesus Christ rules and reigns in their life.’” Amen. And he wants to do it how long? Quickly. Say it: quickly. Now, I had a problem with this when I was a young Christian. Thought it was going to take me a lifetime to get anywhere. But Jesus said, “I will do a quick work in the last days.” The last days started when Jesus ascended into the heavens. He’s coming quickly to us.
▶ 18:43 He wants to adjust us quickly. He wants us to grow quickly. He doesn’t want us to take a lifetime. Amen. And it says, “I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” “I am coming” what? Quickly. “And I want to bless people that hear and keep the words of this book, and I want to do it in your generation, and I don’t want to take all your lifetime. I want to move in your life in a short period of time and make something beautiful out of your life.” Now, isn’t that powerful?
Scripture in this part
Revelation 22:6 (NKJV)
Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.
— Revelation 22:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:05Revelation 22:7 (NKJV)
“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
— Revelation 22:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:54What is the reward and the work the bride must do? (Revelation 22:12)
Short answer: He says the preparation of the bride means “I have got to humble myself, I got to seek him, I got to pray, I got to worship, I got to read the word, I got to assemble together,” so that Jesus can “reward me with himself … with maturity … with fruit.” He adds that it “doesn’t take a long time to get this if you start pursuing it.”
▶ 19:19 Revelation 22:12: “I am coming” when? How often? How long? Quickly. “And my reward is” what? With me. “To give everyone according to his” what? Work. See, that preparation of the bride: I have to apply myself, I have got to humble myself, I got to seek him, I got to pray, I got to worship, I got to read the word, I got to assemble together. I got to do these things. That’s the work he wants me to do so he can reward me with himself, reward me with his life, reward me with maturity, reward me with fruit, so that the world can see the good works in me and give honor to who? Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. And he isn’t one to take very long to do this. In the Bible, you know, it showed a tree would bear fruit in three to four years.
▶ 20:13 This doesn’t take a long time to get this if you start pursuing it. Now, that’s good, that’s good Scriptures. Revelation 20, all this is in Revelation 22: “Surely I am coming quickly.” Do we need Jesus to come to us now? Yeah, I need him now. The second coming is wonderful, but hey, I need him now. “If any man thirst, let him” what? “Come to me and drink.” Jesus said, “If any man love me,” John 14:23, “he will keep my words, my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.” That’s what he’s talking about. “I want to come to you, man. Respond to my words. Me and Papa, we want to come, we want to live in your life, we want to make something great out of you.”
Scripture in this part
Revelation 22:12 (NKJV)
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
— Revelation 22:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 19:19John 14:23 (NKJV)
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
— John 14:23 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:46Do we need Jesus now, or can we wait for the rapture? (Luke 19:10; Matthew 11:28)
Short answer: He says “the second coming is wonderful, but hey, I need him now,” and that “he doesn’t want to wait for the rapture and for the end of the world.” He says “this rapture thing is distracting us from the thing that God wants to do in the church.”
▶ 21:10 Hallelujah. But we got all the comes and, in Revelation, there’s a second coming, but we can’t wait for the second coming to have Jesus and God. Could that be true? “The Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was” what? Lost. See, he wants to come to the sinful world. He doesn’t want to wait for the rapture and for the end of the world. He wants to do it when? Now. He wants to do it quickly. Are you with me? “Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you” what? Rest. See, “my reward is with me.” I’ll take your depression and your distress and your troubles and your struggles, I’ll give you rest, I’ll give you life, I’ll give you peace, man, I’ll bless you, I’ll reward you.
▶ 22:02 Come to me, I’ll reward you. How many don’t want to wait for the rapture to get rewarded? Yeah. We need things now, and this is why we’ve got to understand this rapture thing is distracting us from the thing that God wants to do in the church and make it a powerful church and do it quickly.
Scripture in this part
Luke 19:10 (NKJV)
for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
— Luke 19:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:23Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
— Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:45 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why do people join a church instead of coming to Christ? (John 3:20-21)
Short answer: He says people join a church because “the church doesn’t expose their evil sins,” so someone can be “beating his wife” and still say “he’s got the baptism certificate.” He says we avoid the living word because “it exposes us,” and that “we don’t want God touching us in our intimate places.”
▶ 22:26 “All practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest their deeds should be exposed, but he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen that they have been done in God.” Why will people join a church instead of coming to Christ? Because the church doesn’t expose their evil sins. “You’re okay. You got the blood, you got grace, you got faith, man, you’re in.” He’s beating his wife, he’s committing sexual immorality, [unclear] in his kids, but oh hallelujah, he’s got the baptism certificate. He says he’s a believer. This is why we don’t like Christ in the church and we don’t like the living word, because it exposes us. It exposes the intents of our heart, the purposes of our heart, and we don’t like it.
▶ 23:27 But when we embrace him, we’re glad, because when he shines, I told the people Friday night the church told me my problems would be over when I come to Christ. Literally, man, you can just skate through life, and then I got Christ and I didn’t know I had so many problems. You know, when you get in his light, you see all the flaws. I was looking pretty good. I mean, even my neighbors named kids after me, they thought I was the greatest kid in the neighborhood. I mean, I graduated from school, that’s something everybody else wasn’t doing, and I was a good kid, I wasn’t part of a gang and all that. But boy, when I come into his light, Lord, how mercy, I didn’t know I had that many faults and problems. Are you there?
▶ 24:21 And this is it: we don’t want God touching us in our intimate places that we try to keep secret. And so we rather have religion than life. But God says in the church there’s a tree of life and a water of life. “Search the Scriptures, for in them you” what? Think. See, people get intellect and knowledge of the Bible and they think they’re going to heaven. It’s exactly what Jesus is addressing. See, but he says, “These are they which testify of me,” and see, that’s what Revelation is written about. It’s written about the power of Christ in the church. “And you’re not willing to come to me that you might have” what? Life. The whole message of the church is come to Jesus and keep coming to Jesus. Touch him in prayer, touch him in worship, touch him in the living word.
Scripture in this part
John 3:20-21 (NKJV)
For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
— John 3:20-21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 22:26Is Jesus better than prophecies and miracles, and what should we do? (John 5:39-40; Revelation 22:17)
Short answer: He says “Jesus is better than prophecies, word of knowledge, word of wisdom,” and “better than signs and wonders and miracles.” He says “the whole message of the church is come to Jesus and keep coming,” and that “when we start touching him, our message will change.”
▶ 25:18 Keep touching him, keep letting that photosynthesis spiritual stuff putting energy and change into your life, amen, so you can grow and produce fruit.
▶ 25:32 “If anyone thirst, let him come to the church. Let him come to the evangelist of the day. Let him come to the prophet and get another word from God.” If any man thirst, let him come to who? Me. Jesus is better than prophecies, word of knowledge, word of wisdom. Jesus is better than signs and wonders and miracles. Jesus is the key to your growth and becoming an effective Christian in your generation. Now that’s a good amen. I wished I could help you, man. I’d have done it a long time ago, man, if I could just go and lay hands on you and shake a little and you would just be transformed, man, I’d be doing it in a minute. Or like some of these churches, they just spray their people with water and they supposed to be all of a sudden holy and all that.
▶ 26:26 Boy, I wish that worked. But they got to humble themselves and they got to come to Jesus. Christ Jesus wants to come to you quickly. He wants to come to you today. You’re wanting to go through the motions and think it’s going to take weeks and months and years. He’s wanting to come right now, and he’s wanting to do a work in you quickly. And he has told us today that the river of God and the tree of life, the river of life and the tree of life, is in the church, so all of us have that in us, and when we come together we have a full river flowing in the church. But he also told us that you got to admit you’re wrong, and you got to ask him to forgive you of that wrong, and you got to ask him to cleanse you of that wrong, and you got to ask him to come into your life and give you the power to become a child of God, a bride of Christ, the heavenly Jerusalem.
▶ 27:54 Not very many Christians are on fire and telling other people to come to Jesus. We just go to church, we go home, we go through the routine of life, but when we start touching him, our message will change.

About this transcript
This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added by hand, and obvious caption errors were corrected; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor note: the recording begins in the middle of a thought (“And it proceeds straightly…”). He says “Revelation 20, all this is in Revelation 22,” and “1 John or John 1:12”; the verse is John 1:12. The captions garble his name where he refers to himself in the third person (“Dave [unclear]”) and several other words, shown as [unclear]. He also names a magazine publisher and makes strong statements about homosexuality and bisexuality, evolution, abortion, “liberals” and other churches; these are his own views. “Beastality” in the captions is rendered “bestiality.” Select any time to jump to that moment on YouTube.
