The Kingdom of God and Those Outside It: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
From Mark 4:11 Pastor David G. Kincer explains that knowledge of the mystery of the kingdom is given, hidden in parables from those who close their eyes. He lays out the steps into the kingdom, who will not inherit it, who the “dogs” and sleeping watchmen are, what the kingdom is—righteousness, peace and joy in power—and how believers should live wisely before those outside.
What is “given” to those who know the mystery of the kingdom?
Short answer: From Mark 4:11 and its parallels (Matthew 13, Acts 28, Isaiah 6) he says knowledge of the mystery of the kingdom of God is given—not acquired or paid for. A mystery is something hidden you must search for, and the kingdom is the dominion ruled by God; those without that knowledge are outside the kingdom.
▶ 0:01 And today we’re going to look at Mark 4:11 and the preceding. Verses concerning the mystery of the kingdom of God now in Mark 411 and Matthew 13:15 is the same scripture along with John 12:37 Acts 28:23 Romans 11:7 and they get it from Isaiah 6:9 and preceding. Verses we’re going to find that Jesus is going to discuss three. Things number one he says to you it is given to know. Something okay this thing is given you don’t acquire it you don’t pay for it it’s given to you there’s a third party involved the third source involved that gives you a knowledge.
▶ 1:05 And we find in Acts 28:23 that the Gentiles are those given knowledge of this thing in Matthew 13:15 it clearly states that the Jewish disciples following Jesus were given the knowledge of this thing to know and then he tells us what the knowledge is about what they know the mystery of the kingdom of God now remember a mystery is something secret something. Hidden and you have to search for it to find it the kingdom of course is an area ruled over by a king and the kingdom of God would be an area a domain a dominion ruled over by my God and so to the people in step one and in fact one they’re given to know the secret of the kingdom of God the third fact he states and he builds on to them that are.
Scripture in this part
Mark 4:11-12 (NKJV)
And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them.’ ”
— Mark 4:11-12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:01Acts 28:23-28 (NKJV)
So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening. And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved. So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, saying, ‘Go to this people and say: “Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” ’ “Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!”
— Acts 28:23-28 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:21Isaiah 6:9-10 (NKJV)
And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ “Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.”
— Isaiah 6:9-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:26Why did Jesus speak to outsiders in parables?
Short answer: He says a parable is a story illustrating a spiritual truth—like the treasure in the field, which is mankind that Jesus bought by dying on the cross—and the Old Testament shadows were parables of Christ. Outsiders have closed their own eyes and ears, so they see the parables but don’t perceive.
▶ 2:21 Without without what the knowledge knowing the secret of the kingdom and actually are outside the kingdom they are without they’re outside the kingdom they’re not in the kingdom. So it implies that those who know about the secret of the kingdom are in the kingdom now he’s going to focus on these. Withouts he says all things are spoken and done in parables so those with without okay a parable is a story that illustrates a truth especially a spiritual truth like Jesus said the kingdom of God is like a man who found a treasure in a field and went and sold everything that he had and purchased that field well the truth of that is we are earthen
▶ 3:28 Vessels we are are that treasure in the field the field is mankind the field is the world and Jesus came down from heaven lived in a natural body and died on the cross paying the price for that treasure of mankind in the earth that is a parable that speaks of a spiritual truth things done in parables is like the Old Testament shadow. Laws the lamb that was slain to cover the sins and be forgiven of sins when the Old Testament and the New Testament says that the blood of animals can never cleanse and take away sin so it was a parable an illustration of Jesus coming as the lamb of God dying for us and actually forgiving and cleansing us from our sin so Jesus says I talk to those outside the kingdom that don’t have knowledge of the kingdom in parables in.
▶ 4:43 Illustrations. Okay so that those. Outside that have closed their eyes that seeing they may see and not perceive or recognize. You see Isaiah said God closed their eyes but the other scripture says these people have closed their eyes they don’t want to see they only want to see what they want to see and so God does these things in parables so that they see the parables but they don’t. Understand and recognize what they are looking at for instance this picture on the screen looks like a triangle.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 13:44 (NKJV)
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
— Matthew 13:44 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 3:15 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 13:13-15 (NKJV)
Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’
— Matthew 13:13-15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:52 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How does God’s perspective unlock a parable?
Short answer: He shows a triangle that changes from another angle and describes a car battery in technical terms no one recognizes until they see the picture. God hid the kingdom in parables and practices like incense and the evening sacrifice; now prayer is our incense and lifted hands our evening sacrifice.
▶ 5:37 Correct yeah come on three points yeah you know three sides yeah but it is all in the perspective that you look at it if you looked at it from a different. Angle it is not a triangle at all and we have to look at things from God’s perspective not human intellect perspective not my own opinion perspective but I must look at it through God’s perspective I must go to his parables and find out what he’s telling me so that I can have the truth and have the kingdom. Amen you see now they have stop their ears the Bible says close or callous their ears their ears are dull to hear they don’t hear very well the Bible says they turn their ear from truth and their hearts are hard their intellect their will their emotions are hardened and sensitive that in hearing they do not understand what they hear you see so he does it in parables now an illustration of this is I could tell you that every one of you got to church today by a device that has an anode and a cathode.
▶ 7:05 Sustained in a chemical. Substance that is. Reactionary now most of you do not know what I am talking about because you don’t know the parable you don’t know the technical talk of this item this device and I can give you a laboratory. Diagram of it here is the anode here is the cathode and here’s the reactionary chemical that you came to church with and you use it daily when you when you’re at home you’re using. It but if I showed you a picture of this everybody go oh that is a car battery yes with an anode and a cathode.
▶ 8:03 Suspended in sulfuric acid that will react with the lead and produce electricity it started your car it turns on your lights it gives spark to your spark plugs and you got here today you see because now you understand the parable and if I gave. You the dry cell battery that is a liquid battery the anode is the top button and the cathode is the bottom of that battery in a solid substance not a liquid substance now you understand I’m talking about a battery well that’s the way God has hid the kingdom in his word he’s hidden it in parables as he spoke and in religious practices that he asked the people to do like burn incense the Bible says let my prayer come before you as incense and the lifting of the hands as the evening sacrifice so the evening sacrifice was a parable an illustration of what God was going to institute in spiritual facts and truth we lift our hands it’s doing the evening sacrifice you see when we pray and talk to God we’re burning incense so we don’t need incense we don’t need the uh types and shadows anymore we got the real thing now you’ll notice
Scripture in this part
Psalm 141:2 (NKJV)
Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
— Psalm 141:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:01 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What are the steps into the kingdom of God?
Short answer: He says you must hear the gospel, understand it, believe and put your trust in Jesus, be converted—turn from evil—and confess your sins (1 John 1:9) with no penance. Jesus then heals us from the plague of sin, and Acts 14:22 says we enter the kingdom through much tribulation, starting in your own household.
▶ 9:34 that these people hear but they don’t understand so the first thing to get into the kingdom is you got to hear the message of the gospel you got to hear Bible truth and then you got to understand it you got got to comprehend. It so he does this in parables so they least they. Believe put their trust in. Jesus get converted it’s just another word for repent the same word for repent here they turn from evil okay they believe in Jesus they accept Jesus death on the cross they accept his message they turn from their evil ways they confess their evil ways 1 John 1:9 if we confess our sins he’s faithful and just to forgive us us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness no penance no crawling on your hands and knees uh no beating yourself with with whips or anything just coming to Jesus and admitting your wrong and asking him to forgive and cleanse you and then he says the sixth step is I heal them sin is a disease it’s a a plague in the Bible it’s referred to as a plague of leprosy.
▶ 10:57 And in the end you die. And Jesus heals us from that plague of sin delivers us and sets us free from the control of that disease of sin beautiful and so when he is illustrating the people that are not in the kingdom he is also illustrating the people that are in the kingdom and know the kingdom they hear they understand they believe they turn from their evil ways they confess their sins get forgiven and healed by Jesus I heal them Jesus said Jesus heals them and the seventh one is in Acts 14:22 we enter the kingdom through much.
▶ 11:52 Tribulation much. Trouble. Much. Conflict and the the Bible says that the area of the most conflict are from those in your own household that’s where it starts you want to serve Christ and you really want to serve him right and they want to be religious big conflict and then your friends and then religion and the more you want to follow Christ the more opposition you’re going to have okay and the parable of the sower makes this very plain.
Scripture in this part
1 John 1:9 (NKJV)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
— 1 John 1:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:25Acts 14:22 (NKJV)
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”
— Acts 14:22 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 11:46Who will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Short answer: From 1 Corinthians 6:9–11: the sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, slanderers and swindlers. But “this is what some of you were”—they were washed, sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God.
▶ 12:29 Now we also find that this is confirmed throughout the scriptures all right 1 Corinthians 6:9 the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God and then he explains who the wicked are sexually immoral idolators adulterers married people going out on their spouses male prostitutes is men who use boys young boys for sexual gratification homosexuals is same sex sex thieves that’s stealing what doesn’t belong to you greed is doing anything to make money and stepping over people or mistreating or whatever and so you can make money drunkards intoxication and you don’t have to be a staggering drunk to be a drunkard. Intoxication is you’ve got enough alcohol to distort your judgment that’s intoxication and we know what it is today they scientifically have it down one shot of whiskey is.
▶ 13:33 Intoxication and uh drugs whether prescription or whether they’re illegal you don’t inherit the kingdom of God and slanderers those that go around telling lies about you trying to defame your character or telling the truth about you you made a mistake you turned from it you got it correct and they just keep repeating the error that you made that’s slander they got no business talking and swindlers people that take advantage of other people to get their money get possessions and so forth and and then he says this powerful statement this is what some of you were you’re not that anymore you see the kingdom is so powerful the king of the kingdom is so powerful you did these things but you don’t do them anymore and how do they not do them anymore because they were washed by the water of the word the spirit the blood of Jesus they were sanctified set apart for the master’s use for the master’s witness in the earth to be a light to the world they were justified justified means made right they were made right how by the name of the Lord Jesus or the authority the name is the authority of the Lord Jesus and by the spirit of our God God is involved and
Scripture in this part
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NKJV)
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
— 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 12:29Why must our righteousness exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees?
Short answer: Matthew 5:20: the scribes knew the law and the Pharisees had right beliefs, but their problem was behavior—they didn’t live righteously. You must get past believing into applying the Scriptures. John 3: you must be born of water and the Spirit—a real birthing experience, not just joining a church.
▶ 15:04 God has the authority to forgive you and save you and bring you into the kingdom Jesus said I am the door he is the way in and so we might have been something yesterday but today we are not by the authority of Christ and by that spirit of conviction and spirit of truth the spirit of the word that works in us. Also in Matthew 5:20 except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and the Pharisees you will in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven you see the scribes they could quote the [unclear] they had it memorized they were the experts of the law of Moses the experts of interpreting the prophets but they didn’t do. Righteous acts and live a a righteous lifestyle and behavior the Pharisees they had the right beliefs they believed that God was a spirit they believed in angels they believed in the spirit of God they believed that there was a life after death they believed that men were going to be granted that by God the problem with the Pharisees wasn’t their belief it was their behavior they didn’t do righteously.
▶ 16:30 And he says if you don’t excel the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees and other words you got to get past believing in a God and believing in the scriptures into applying the scriptures and if you don’t you’re not going to enter the kingdom of heaven see it’s simple it’s not complicated at all the simplicity that is in Christ John 3:3, except the man be born again of the water and of the spirit he cannot see or enter the kingdom of heaven when we are water baptized we are born of the water we identifi with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and water. Baptism we the water baptism is a witness here on earth the Bible say okay and then we’re born of the spirit the word is spirit that word comes and it convicts us and then the Holy Spirit also convicts us amen amen and so God’s involved.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 5:20 (NKJV)
For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
— Matthew 5:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:29John 3:3-5 (NKJV)
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
— John 3:3-5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 16:30Who has a right to the tree of life and the city?
Short answer: Revelation 21:2 and 22:14: those who wash their robes have a right to the tree of life and to enter the city. Righteousness grows line upon line, and if you sin you have an advocate (1 John 2:1). You stay in the kingdom unless you habitually keep sinning or say sin is okay.
▶ 17:36 In christianity it isn’t just something you mentally oh I’m going to join a church. No this is a birthing experience it is a real. Experience now we go to Revelations. 211 John saw a new heaven and new earth I saw the holy city new Jerusalem coming down down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride for her husband to the new earth. 22:14 those who. Wash their robes white linen is the righteousness of the saints we wash our lives by the blood of Jesus and by the washing of the water of the word the word is spirit and that Holy Spirit coming and working in us they have the robes washed they have a right.
▶ 18:35 I have a right to the tree of life. And I have a right to enter the city I have a right to enter the kingdom because I believed in Jesus I heard the message I’m I I I searched it and understood it I put my trust in Jesus I repented I admitted I was wrong turn from my evil ways and I have a right to the tree of life and you may not be that righteous yet how many found that out when you came to Christ. Yeah okay but you’re entering the kingdom righteousness starts to grow you see line upon line precept on precept here a little there a little we grow in behaving in a righteous manner that the Bible tells us to and that we repented from back there but we make these mistakes but you see John plainly says it in first John I would brethren that you not sin but if you do sin you have an advocate with the father even Jesus Christ the righteous so us.
Scripture in this part
Revelation 21:2 (NKJV)
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
— Revelation 21:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:36Revelation 22:14 (NKJV)
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
— Revelation 22:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:041 John 2:1 (NKJV)
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
— 1 John 2:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 19:44 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Who are the “dogs” outside the city?
Short answer: He says “dogs” is a parable, not animals in heaven. Outside are sorcerers, the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters and liars, in the lake of fire. Psalm 22:16 shows the dogs are the assembly of the wicked who pierced his hands and feet—anyone who lived wickedly crucified Jesus.
▶ 19:50 Christians that came to Christ at the beginning when we were sinners and repented that same principle works as Christians Lord I’m wrong I admit I’m wrong forgive me for this wrong and you stay in the kingdom you don’t get kicked out unless you habitually keep. Sinning or you say it’s okay when you say it’s okay to have sexual uh relationships with the same sex or with a child or with someone else’s. Wife you’re out of the kingdom but when you’re growing. He keeps you in because that’s where you’re going to grow isn’t that beautiful see the simplicity that is in Jesus. Christ. Now without the city outside the city they’re not in the city they’re not in the kingdom are the dogs we’re going to clarify that I don’t want our young teenagers thinking there’s dogs in heaven.
▶ 20:59 We’re going to clarify that that is a parable this this word is a parable okay you got to understand the parable to understand it now sorcerers that’s people in witchcraft. Sorcery sexually immoral that’s homosexuality adultery fornication sex with animals sex with children and so forth. Murderers idolators and I don’t know how the catholic church can justify having all those idols when it pl he says not to have them okay and everyone who lives and practices a lie now they’re outside the kingdom they’re in this lake of fire there’s only two places to be when you’re dead it’s in paradise with God which will bring you down to the new earth when he comes or the lake of fire those outside the kingdom are in the kingdom of darkness the kingdom whose punishment is the lake of fire now Psalms.
▶ 22:04 22:16 dogs have compassed me. About the assembly of the wicked see he clarifies who the dogs are and who are the dogs the assembly of the wicked the grouping the uniting of the wicked have enclosed me they pierce my hands and the feet you know the Jews get offended when we say the Jews killed Jesus they did so did the Romans they actually killed Jesus but this verse tells us the real truth. Anyone that chose to live. Wickedly anyone whether you’re an Eskimo whether you’re a brazilian no matter what you are if you lived wickedly you pierced Jesus and killed him because he had to die for.
Scripture in this part
Revelation 22:15 (NKJV)
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
— Revelation 22:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:50 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Psalm 22:16 (NKJV)
For dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet;
— Psalm 22:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 22:05Who are the blind, sleeping watchmen?
Short answer: Isaiah 56:10–11: watchmen who are blind, ignorant, greedy sleeping dogs that cannot bark. He names three watchmen—ministers who should warn about sin but chase money, government leaders who get rich and can’t punish crime, and parents who party instead of training their children. God will hold all three accountable (Ezekiel 33).
▶ 23:03 You see it’s very clear. So the Jews back then may have been say crucify him crucify him the roman soldiers you know that was gathered from all over the empire you know they carried it out but really your sin is what crucified Jesus Christ Isaiah 56:10 his watchman his watchman are blind they can’t see they’re ignorant they don’t know the kingdom they don’t know the king of the kingdom they’re greedy they’re after money they’re sleeping. Dogs they cannot bark they can’t even bark our our hound dog down south if anyone come within a quarter of a mile of our house we lived out in the middle of nowhere that hound dog he wouldn’t hurt a flea but that hound dog.
▶ 24:00 We knew someone was. Around he was the alarm but these dogs can’t bark these watchmen can’t even bark they’re. Asleep Bible says we sleep in trespasses and sin they all look to their own way and their own gain they’re only out there for themselves they’re only doing the job because they’re getting money they’re hirelings. Now so you understand that young one back in those days before modern technology came along and changed everything they would build a fortress where the people outside could run when an enemy come and be safe and the city could close the gates and be safe from enemies and marauders and thieves that wanted to come in and take what they worked hard for so they would put a man all day long and all night long a different guy at night different watches and these guys had a trumpet.
▶ 24:59 And their objective was to keep looking at the north south east and west for any. Enemy that was coming to take what they had and destroy their their uh lives their substance and uh when they saw something that was irregular they sounded the trumpet and they had a sound for the north a sound for the south a sound for the so the people of the city would rise up and go to that look out there and get prepared for the destruction that was coming and avoid it and fight it and have victory over it and so the watchmen is God’s ministers they’re supposed as Isaiah as Ezekiel said in chapter 33 warn the people about sin about the kingdom.
▶ 25:58 How to get in and how to maintain your your presence in the kingdom you’re supposed to warn people supposed to warn them when the wolves come in to destroy the flock all right but a lot of ministers are blind a lot of them are ignorant of the scriptures a lot of them are greedy they’re there for the money and you can tell because they take two or three offerings in one service and on. And they promise you the moon if you send them a donation boy God’s going to press down shake them together he’s going to bless your socks off you’re going to get rich if you give to our ministry they’re greedy and they’re sleeping they have sin in their life they cannot bark they don’t know how to warn the people because they don’t know right and wrong from the Scriptures.
▶ 26:50 And they’re only interested in their own way and their own gain the second watchman. Are the government leaders they are supposed to protect the city protect the people and when your civil leaders are blind and greedy just in for the money it amazes me that almost every politician once they go to washington dc becomes rich it just blows my mind they are sleeping dogs they got sin and so they have a hard time punishing crime in the nation. Because they’re violating the laws. Themselves so they never warned the people about right and wrong and the destruction of wrong the third watchman is the mom and dad of the home.
▶ 27:53 They’re supposed to warn their kids and train them up to avoid this. Destruction but many parents are asleep they’re into their own thing they want to go disco-ing on Friday hallelujah yeah man they want you know they want to party they want to do these things they want to go bowling leagues and and this thing and that thing instead of training up those children and putting time in those children and teaching those children and give those children understanding of right and wrong all three are watchmen. And all three the Bible says he will hold. Accountable that’s who the dogs are wicked and leaders that don’t understand right and wrong.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 56:10-11 (NKJV)
His watchmen are blind, They are all ignorant; They are all dumb dogs, They cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yes, they are greedy dogs Which never have enough. And they are shepherds Who cannot understand; They all look to their own way, Every one for his own gain, From his own territory.
— Isaiah 56:10-11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:03Ezekiel 33:6-7 (NKJV)
But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’ “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.
— Ezekiel 33:6-7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 25:52 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is the kingdom of God like?
Short answer: Psalm 145:13 and Daniel 7:14: it is an everlasting kingdom that cannot be destroyed. Romans 14:17: it is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost—when everyone treats each other right there is peace, and joy follows. Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
▶ 28:46 Now the mystery of the kingdom of God. First Psalms 145:13 says the kingdom is an everlasting kingdom it started at the beginning and it will never end it goes right into the next life with you the kingdom is eternal not only is it eternal but the Bible says Daniel 7:14 that his Jesus’s kingdom shall not be destroyed nothing can destroy this kingdom Satan and the kingdom of darkness can do it the kings and politicians and civil leaders of the earth can’t do it this kingdom is. Indestructible very very powerful I would want knowledge of something like that how about you I would want it given to me so I want to find the one that can give it to me and who is that Jesus Christ and his word that will give us this kingdom then he tells us exactly what the kingdom.
▶ 29:54 Is see the behavior of the kingdom Romans 14:17 the kingdom of God is not meat or drink it’s not natural things it’s not the food you eat and the clothes you put on in the house you live in the kingdom of God is righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost now we know the Holy Ghost is the spirit of God so in God we know that Jesus said he was going to pour out his spirit so it’s a spirit of Jesus so Jesus God the Holy Spirit God is involved in this kingdom he’s the king of the kingdom and it’s a kingdom of righteousness you know when you got everybody treating each other right you automatically have peace because peace is the absence of conflict see we have conflict in our marriage and conflict in our home and conflict in the church and conflict in the nation when we’re divided that somebody’s treating somebody.
▶ 30:53 Wrongly but when you got everybody treating rightly peace is the absence of conflict everybody has peace and when you got peace joy is automatic you got nothing to be sad. About no one stole your car see no one stole your wallet no one killed your child or whatever you have joy and the Bible says that Jesus is the king of righteousness and peace amen I’m always telling people you need to meet the king of peace the the prince of peace you really need you’re all worked up you’re all worried you need to have an encounter with Jesus the prince of peace hallelujah it is an area of Jesus that you can experience and possess he is the prince of peace.

Short answer: He says the redeemed return to Zion with everlasting joy that no man can take away. 1 Corinthians 4:20: the kingdom is not in talk but in power. The kingdom of God is within you—God wants to rule your spirit, which lives forever and will receive an immortal body.
▶ 31:46 And the redeemed of the Lord. Shall return to Zion with singing and everlasting joy shall be on their head when you enter the kingdom of God from that point on you have everlasting joy Jesus said it this way I’m going to give you joy that no man can take away why cuz it’s eternal it’s everlasting once you experience it once you come in you have a joy whether you’re in prison jail like Peter and them are going to die the next day you have joy you have peace why because you’re in the kingdom. Hallelujah 1 Corinthians 4:20 the the kingdom is not in word you got to understand that doesn’t mean scripture it means speech and talk how many you know we we’re good at talking oh yeah man just just ask us man we we can talk but the kingdom is not in.
▶ 33:02 Talk it is in. Power supernatural. Ability. Hallelujah now I don’t know about you but I want to discover this hidden. Kingdom not something we just get in our head or get on our lips it’s really something that empowers us and then last but not least he says where the kingdom is the kingdom of God is within you within me I have a spirit in me when this body dies my body will go to the grave but my spirit goes on living and people go well what happens in the last day when the graves are open well God knows how to find every one of those ashes pull them back together make an immortal life out of them.
▶ 33:59 Didn’t he create man from the dust of the earth begin with does he have any problem creating man in the last time with an immortal body from the dust and the ashes that you no at all no. Hallelujah ah it’s within me I have a spirit that will live forever and what God wants to do is rule over that spirit in me and that spirit rule over my physical mental and emotional life the bottom line is God is after me that treasure that’s been hidden in the field that he died for he’s interested in me and he wants to put his kingdom in me I can handle the simplicity of news like that every day of the week then he doesn’t stop there he tells us how.

nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
— Luke 17:21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 33:35 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How should Christians behave toward those outside the kingdom?
Short answer: Colossians 4:5 and 1 Thessalonians 4:11–12: walk in wisdom and honesty toward those without, live a quiet and peaceable life without looking down on or mistreating them, and work with your own hands. Sinners know the difference between real and fake Christians.
▶ 34:52 To deal with those outside the kingdom. Colossians 4:5 1 Thessalonians 4:11 speaking about how we behave toward them that are without okay who are those without they’re outside the kingdom they don’t have knowledge of the kingdom okay they’re sinning they haven’t believed he says you guys in the kingdom need to walk in wisdom Proverbs says the wise man foresee the evil and avoids it they need to see us avoiding financial. Destruction physical destruction mental destruction spiritual destruction they need to see that he says you need to walk in honesty you keep your word you don’t.
▶ 35:49 Lie walk in honesty I knew when I was a sinner the real Christian and the one that was faking it because the ones that were faking it were no different than me and the ones that weren’t faking it they were definitely different than me in their talk in their walk and so as a sinner sinners know the difference so if we want those outside the kingdom to get the attention of the kingdom we got to walk in wisdom and honesty and be quiet we don’t join a gang and disrupt the neighborhood or create a problem in the neighborhood or in the home we curse each other out and yell at each other you blankety blank and the kids are cowering in the bedroom and you are quiet you live a quiet and peaceable. Life out of conflict in other words we’re not in direct conflict with those.
▶ 36:49 Without just our life is in a conflict with them we don’t have to look down on them and mistreat them in any way could that be an amen we need to live a quiet and peaceable life and then this one gets a lot of us work with your own hand he says if you want to get the outsiders attention you provide for yourself the people in the deepest darkness are attracted to the faintest. Light and he’s telling us how to be be a light.

About this transcript
This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: One word in “they could quote the [unclear]” (15:10) was not clear. Caption fixes include “earthen vessels,” “sulfuric acid,” “parable of the sower,” “John 3:3.” He says science shows one shot of whiskey is intoxication (unchecked). Sensitive content kept as spoken: homosexuality and sexual sins listed, Catholic idols, greedy ministers, politicians getting rich, Jews and Romans killing Jesus (with his point that every sinner pierced him).
