Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.

From the sermonThe Holy Spirit’s Support of Jesus 12/17/2017 · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

Pastor David G. Kincer teaches that the Holy Spirit always testifies of Jesus and the scriptures, never of himself or other religious figures. He contrasts natural and spiritual understanding, tests other “spirits” by whether they confess Christ, defines the spirit of antichrist from 1 John 4, and closes with John 14:23: those who love Jesus can have the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwelling in them.

What kind of book is the Bible?

▶ Watch this part (0:01)

Short answer: Jesus’ words are spirit and truth. It is a book of truth about how the spirit world works; you must compare spiritual things with spiritual.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:01 Jesus said the words that I speak to you they are spirit see and so God’s word is spirit and God’s word is truth it’s not a book of faith it’s a book of truth it’s a book that tells you how the spirit world works and it’s the only book on earth that has that much detail in how the spirit world works both the dark spirits and God’s spirit okay. And you got to compare spiritual things with spiritual not natural that’s why these people can’t understand the Bible you know they see stories in the Bible that are not naturally possible physically possible and so they that can’t be that has to be an allegory a myth or whatever but it is true stories now the natural man receives not the things of the spirit of God they that want to use man’s wisdom to study the Bible they’re not going to accept the spiritual things of God the spirit is beyond the physical.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 6:63 (NKJV)

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

— John 6:63 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:03 (quoted; reference not named in the message)
Scripture (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

— 1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:01 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What happens to those without a hearing ear?

▶ Watch this part (1:16)

Short answer: Mark 4:24–25: to those who hear, more is given; from those who don’t, even what they have is taken. He applies it to evolutionists getting “worse and worse.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:16 See in the physical you have limitations in the spirit it’s called supernatural it’s above natural physical means okay natural physical man natural physical means it’s supernatural spirit alright. Now let me give you a little proof of this that the natural man doesn’t receive the things of the spirit of God in Mark 4:24 Jesus said to you who hear more will be given to you that do not have a hearing ear that which you even have will be taken away now. Evolution. When it came out in the mid.

▶ 2:10 Eighteen hundreds or just over 1860 something or somewhere on there. Then you come to today and they kept trying to prove evolution prove evolution. Hawkins a scientist and an atheist a big popular guy out there that debates apologetic people and all that I don’t debate that stuff the crosses where the power is anyway he said this statement now remember Mark 4:24 says if you don’t have a hearing ear even that what you have will be taken away now Hawkins said this just recently he said that [unclear] we don’t need God because scientifically we can make something out of nothing because there is nothing and then there was something so that something had to come out of nothing.

▶ 3:09 now folks that’s as dumb as you can get. Amen and see the scripture is true I mean they just keep getting worse and worse with their trying to prove evolution and prove you know that the Bible isn’t a real book and God doesn’t exist they get ridiculous. So. The Bible is always right oh yeah. They are foolishness to the natural man neither can he know them they are spiritually discerned understood made clear now I heard an apologist in Philadelphia not too long ago that was different than other apologists that I’ve looked into his atheist opponent he got to open up the conference and then his atheist opponent got to come up and contradict him and what he did is he went to this verse and I go yeah.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Mark 4:24-25 (NKJV)

Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

— Mark 4:24-25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:16

What are the four kinds of law in the Bible?

▶ Watch this part (4:18)

Short answer: Wise laws, shadow laws (like the sacrificial lamb), civil laws given after the flood, and spiritual laws—like forgiveness when we confess.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:18 And what he did is he disarmed the atheist because the atheist don’t believe in the book that he is trying to contradict when that book that he’s trying to contradict says you can’t even understand it without the spirit. are you hearing me [unclear] oh yeah yeah. But. Then as time went by he let that atheist get him into natural debates and folks this is not a natural book [unclear] there are four different laws in the Bible. Okay I’m gonna remind you there are wise laws say the wise man [unclear] and it prepares for a problem down the road see you don’t go to heaven or hell because of that it’s a wise it’s a wise law and then there are shadow laws.

▶ 5:18 Okay shadow laws are like the sacrifice lamb pointing to Jesus dying that’s why we don’t sacrifice animals anymore it was a shadow law pointing to a true law a spiritual law alright and then you have civil laws thou shalt not kill it’s a civil law and God gave human beings at the end of the flood to Noah’s time the responsibility to judge people when they did wrong before that he did the judging after Noah he put it on us to do the judging and we are bad judges aren’t we yeah and then you have spiritual laws [unclear] a spiritual law is [unclear] you hear the gospel and that word and the spirit convicts you and you confess your sin God is faithful and just to forgive you your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness he will come and dwell in you and he will give you the reward of eternal life that is a spiritual law.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 John 1:9 (NKJV)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

— 1 John 1:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:15 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

How does he answer skeptics about Joshua’s long day?

▶ Watch this part (6:27)

Short answer: You must be born into the kingdom, not just join a church. Joshua said sun stand still; the earth should have been destroyed, but a supernatural God did it.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:27 The physical laws can’t even touch that that’s all spiritually done isn’t that right see prayer is a spiritual law praise is a spiritual law he inhabits the praises of his people if you praise him he’s gonna come if you pray he’s gonna hear those are spiritual things and so these guys can’t understand that they can understand the historical part but they can’t understand the spiritual part because it’s revealed by the spirit and if you know these things you need to thank God that you responded to his spirit amen. Yeah you don’t just join a church you got to get birthed into the kingdom of God. Amen. joining the church means nothing it’s the birthing now for instance in Joshua.

▶ 7:28 Joshua was fighting a battle and he said sun stand still over Gibeon and the moon over another city and the Bible says that the son did not go down for 12 hours from that point. Now how’s the scientists going to do that well you go to NASA and you ask them that question and they say well if the earth stopped. Everything on the earth except bedrock. Would go into the atmosphere. And. because the [unclear] centrifugal force has the ocean at its highest level at the equator there would be a landmass all around the earth well that earth stopped and went for [unclear] 12 hours that sun did not go down so if this happened at noon the sun did not go down until midnight all right.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Joshua 10:12-13 (NKJV)

Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

— Joshua 10:12-13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:28 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What about Jonah and the fish?

▶ Watch this part (8:38)

Short answer: God prepared a great fish. It teaches that Christ would be three days and nights in the earth. It is not an allegory unless the Bible calls it one.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 8:38 Got it and there was no matter going into the atmosphere and there was no landmass at the equator why who’s got the supernatural God if he says sun stand still you know [unclear] you’re not going to go down to one o’clock it’s not 1 a.m. It’s not going to go down to 1 a.m. It’s supernaturally done are you with me yeah you take the great [unclear] they’re always debating this a man can’t live and the acids in the belly would kill him you know and he there’s no air in there he can’t breathe that’s all true and most whales cannot even swallow a human being are you aware that their throat is not big enough they have to rip you apart and swallow you an arm and a leg at a time all right there’s only a few [unclear] that can swallow you and once you get in there that stomach and that acid you’re a goner there’s no air to breathe you know a stomach just takes the shape of what’s there there’s no air.

▶ 9:45 Why can’t it happen God prepared a great fish he [unclear] prepared a great fish. and so [unclear] lived in there for a [unclear]. because God did it alright and [unclear] everything that happened in the Old Testament was for our learning and [unclear] that happened so it would teach us that Christ would be three days and three nights in the earth. And God did that are you there it’s not an allegory like. Bill O’Reilly says he’s a Catholic boy and you know his [unclear] said most of the Bible’s just allegories and myths and in a fiction story that’s not a fiction story when the Bible tells you there’s an allegory that’s when it’s an allegory when the Bible says this is a parable that’s when it’s a parable and the Bible also gives the interpretation of the allegory or the parable all right otherwise it happened can I hear an amen now and I could go on and on and on about things in the Bible that they just can’t explain and that’s what you got to stick with when you’re talking with an atheist you got to get him to come over to the spiritual domain and prove that there isn’t a spirit world and supernatural power alleluia.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Jonah 1:17 (NKJV)

Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 12:40 (NKJV)

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

What does Balaam’s donkey teach?

▶ Watch this part (11:16)

Short answer: God opened the donkey’s mouth, then Balaam’s eyes; he admitted, “I have sinned.” Balaam later died when Israel came in—the wages of sin is death.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 11:16 So. You remember the story of Balaam and the donkey. Now you know the snake in the garden of Eden talked to Eve and [unclear] you know that’s another sermon well no animal talked until the donkey came along Balaam’s riding on a donkey God told him don’t go down to the Midianites and prophesy against my people don’t do it and they offered him a lot of money and he’s on his donkey going down to do the opposite of what God told him [unclear] God came to this false prophet and told him don’t do it Balaam was a diviner he was a false prophet okay he did it by another spirit not God’s spirit and so he’s on his donkey and his donkeys eyes are opened to see this angel with a sword in his hand gonna kill him and so [unclear] the donkey moves out of the way and all that and Balaam’s getting mad beating that donkey and then God opens his donkey’s mouth and donkey starts talking to Balaam now y’all I don’t know about you but if I’m on a donkey and starts talking it would get my attention mighty fast but not Balaam and that.

▶ 12:33 Donkey said you know I’ve been your donkey all these years and I’ve never disobeyed you [unclear]. and Balaam says it talks back to the donkey I mean that’s weird and. then God opened Balaam’s eyes you see the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes and he saw the angel and the sword and what did Balaam do he bowed down his head went flat on his face and what said I have sinned I’m wrong sin is the violation of God’s word and see when God does things that’s what he’s trying to do he’s trying to teach you something and Balaam lost his life when Israel came in and destroyed the [unclear] they killed Balaam with them the wages of sin is death.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Numbers 22:28-34 (NKJV)

Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?” And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!” So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?” And he said, “No.” Then the LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face. And the Angel of the LORD said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me. The donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she had not turned aside from Me, surely I would also have killed you by now, and let her live.” And Balaam said to the Angel of the LORD, “I have sinned, for I did not know You stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displeases You, I will turn back.”

How many kinds of spirits are there?

▶ Watch this part (13:37)

Short answer: Three: God’s Spirit, man’s spirit and evil spirits. Let the Bible explain itself, not denominations or bookstore books.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 13:37 It cost him his life. Atheists can’t argue that they don’t know how but we got to compare what spiritual things with spiritual things that’s why it’s imperative that you let the Bible explain itself not your denomination not some book in the Christian bookstore but you let the Bible explain itself to you I [unclear] the Bible doesn’t need all these Christian books in the bookstore telling you what it says it’s an encompassing book that tells you what it says but a lot of people like a lot of money getting you to read their opinions of that book. All right now the Holy Spirit’s support of Jesus this is really important all right now there are three spirits.

Who does the Holy Ghost testify of?

▶ Watch this part (14:38)

Short answer: John 15:26: the Spirit of truth proceeds from the Father and testifies of Jesus—not Mohammed, Calvin, Wesley or Joseph Smith. Speaking in tongues is not required for salvation.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 14:38 God is a spirit okay. Man has a spirit we our body dies we live on our spirit lives on and then there are evil spirits harmful spirits bad spirits the kingdom of darkness spirits got it there’s only three spirits all right. Now in John 15:26 when the comforter is come. Future tense okay remember last week we showed you the spirit was with the apostles but Jesus said it’s going to be in you that’s the baptism of the Holy Ghost it is a separate thing yes when we invite God into our life and all that he comes but the baptism of the Holy Ghost is a different experience.

▶ 15:34 Got that. and the Jesus only [unclear] says that you got to speak in tongues and be filled with the Holy Ghost to be saved that’s just ridiculous nowhere in the Bible does it say that nowhere. That’s just man making up things all right because you can have the spirit of God without being baptized in the Holy Ghost you understand that. It’s important you understand that now when the comforter is come [unclear] hadn’t come yet whom I will send unto you from the father the Holy Ghost is going to come from the father so there is a father there is a son and there is a Holy Ghost right and no matter what the oneness people tell you that Jesus is God and he’s the Holy Ghost and he’s everything there are three different personalities of God the father the son and the Holy Ghost all right it’s right there it’s all over the book it’s everywhere it’s in Genesis 1 everything [unclear] from the beginning until revelations the 20th chapter at the end it’s the father the son and the Holy Ghost.

▶ 16:52 Now. He calls him the spirit of truth he’s going [unclear] only speak truth and my word is truth Jesus said okay there’s my word of spirit my word is truth so he’s only going to speak truth he’s never going to go out of the scriptures that we have. Now. Which proceeds from the father again he says that Holy Ghost comes from the father he will what. Testify of me. Okay he’s going to testify of me he’s not going to testify of Mohammed he could care the least about Mohammed he’s not going to testify of Calvin he could care the least about Calvin he’s not going to testify of John Wesley.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 15:26 (NKJV)

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

— John 15:26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:02

How did he answer the Mormon about eternal marriage?

▶ Watch this part (17:48)

Short answer: Jesus said there is no marriage in heaven; adding to the word is forbidden. A spiritual experience that contradicts Jesus is not God’s Spirit.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 17:48 He’s not going to testify of Allah. another name for God I don’t care what name you come up with to say it’s God that we serve he’s [unclear] testify [unclear] at all he’s only going to testify of Jesus Christ and the scriptures that’s all the Holy Ghost will testify about prove. Give the evidence for are you with me he’s not going to testify of Joseph Smith I ran into a Mormon this week. and he told me he was a Mormon and he says what got me was eternal marriage I says well the Bible says that there is no eternal marriage that in heaven there’s [unclear] we don’t marry nor given in marriage that was Jesus’s own words he said yes but the Bible was written by prophets I said yeah prophets inspired by the Holy Spirit they could only write what they were told to write he said but we got prophets today and today’s prophet says that we can be married for eternity I said sir the Bible says you can’t add to the word nor take away from the word and you just added to the word.

▶ 19:20 Jesus himself said there’s no marriage in heaven you just added to the word he said well I had a spiritual experience did you hear that to confirm that and I go what spirit. It had to be your spirit an evil spirit because it isn’t going to be God’s spirit because the Holy Ghost will not go against truth or Jesus Christ and he walked away. Amen see you can’t come to God with head knowledge there’s got to be a spiritual awakening in your life you’ve got to be born of the spirit because it’s the spirit that’s going to convict you it’s the spirits that’s going to teach you and keep teaching you amen.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 22:30 (NKJV)

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.

Revelation 22:18-19 (NKJV)

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

— Revelation 22:18-19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 19:12 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

How do you test other “great spirits”?

▶ Watch this part (20:20)

Short answer: Any spirit that doesn’t confess Jesus Christ is not God’s Spirit—the “great spirit,” an African supreme spirit, or Alcoholics Anonymous’s unnamed higher power.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 20:20 Alleluia. Also. we ran [unclear] me and Ilia ran into an Indian this week and When we talked about Jesus he said oh yeah [unclear]. The great spirit that’s Jesus that’s God or [unclear] he said that’s God the great spirit and Ilia did a great job you would have been proud of Ilia he spoke and he shut up. Really he spoke put the dagger in and dropped it and let’s see you let God do the [unclear] let God do the rest so I stepped in and I said sir every Indian that I know that is a Christian

▶ 21:21 Serves Jesus Christ and confesses Jesus Christ. And any spirit that does not confess Jesus Christ and testifies of Jesus Christ is not God’s spirit. remember that Ilia. Everything got quiet and we went on with our business and yeah but that man had something for the Holy Ghost to work with [unclear] Ilia was really good I just wanted you to know that he spoke powerful he told him [unclear] and then he shut up and that’s what you got to do you just got to get your point across long debates is not gonna win people you gotta let the Holy Ghost convict people and it’s all about Jesus and the cross amen now.

▶ 22:17 in Africa the supreme spirit is called [unclear].. All right when you’re over in Africa you’re going to run into animists like the Indians here in America they believe in spirits and all that but it’s what spirits see you’ve got to know what spirit this is and their supreme spirit doesn’t talk about Jesus. so we know [unclear] it’s not God’s spirit it’s not the same God it’s not the same thing because from Genesis 1 God is talking about Jesus Jesus. Is everything and the Holy Spirit will only testify of Jesus and then you got the higher power here in America you know the Alcoholics Anonymous who

▶ 23:13 who really has less than 7 percent results of changing alcoholics and drug addicts the higher power well who is that higher power they don’t talk about Jesus and he is the high power in me all authority in heaven and earth is given unto who Jesus Christ so you’re going to talk about a higher power you better put a name on him my friend or you’re talking about an evil spirit or man’s spirit because that’s the only one that’s left and I’ll be honest with you when I deal with things in third world countries it’s a lot of men’s spirit no evil spirits at all. When I find a demon involved it is easy to solve it it can be cast out but when it’s just men.

▶ 24:05 You got to preach the gospel to them and the gospel has to change them. So a lot of witchcraft is just men’s spirits I’ll tell you and I could give you a lot of illustrations and over the years I have but anyway you know I met [unclear] or whatever it was the church of Satan okay and [unclear] I didn’t know if it was a woman or a man I just remember my staff [unclear] fearing for my life [unclear] wondering if [unclear] the kids are going to come out of that room this guy was about 350 pounds oh wow anyway I don’t got time for that I

Does the Holy Ghost promote himself?

▶ Watch this part (24:58)

Short answer: John 16:13–14: no. He guides into all truth, speaks what he hears and glorifies Jesus. A “God told me” that contradicts the word is our own spirit.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 24:58 Just to tell you there was no demon involved all right totally man. John 16:13 when the spirit of truth has come he will guide you into all truth now God’s word is truth right and God’s word is spirit he will not speak of himself whoa whoa. Give me one scripture in the Bible where the Holy Ghost promotes itself. Holy Ghost [unclear] Jesus promotes truth and that is his ministry amen and if he’s going to convict you he’s going to convict you of truth he’s going to convict you of Jesus amen that’s why we know [unclear] the Holy Ghost forget tongues and stuff for a while that the Pentecostals and charismatics have made such a big thing let’s just look at the practical part of the Holy Ghost this is very practical isn’t it.

▶ 26:04 He will not speak of himself of what he will hear who’s he hearing from God. God is a spirit and God is love so God is a spirit of love and it’s God that’s talking to the Holy Ghost who is God by the way and. people go [unclear] don’t understand you just got to believe the book. God the father is God God in the flesh is Jesus who is God and God the Holy Spirit working in our lives is God. Amen and don’t let anybody tell you we worship three gods we do not okay we worship one God. He will show you things to come and he will what glorify me testify of me glorify me so you know if you come up with something that you feel is God’s spirit and let me tell you in the circles I grew up in Pentecostals and charismatics

▶ 27:15 They said a lot of things was from the Holy Ghost that was nothing but their own spirit and I had to I had to learn and get through this mess you know myself I mean my spirit can get involved and think it’s the Holy Ghost you’ve got to get to the place where you know the difference could that be an amen you can’t just say something and it contradicts the word of God it contradicts truth and you say well God told me. Amen. would God come along and tell you to leave a good spouse no would he come along and tell you to kick your rebellious kid out of the house instead of disciplining him no. would he tell you it’s okay not to pay your bills no he [unclear].

Scripture (NKJV)

John 16:13-14 (NKJV)

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

What did the apostles tell the Sanhedrin?

▶ Watch this part (28:15)

Short answer: Acts 5:29–32: we ought to obey God rather than men. God raised and exalted Jesus as Prince and Savior; we and the Holy Ghost are witnesses.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 28:15 why [unclear] contradicts truth [unclear] alleluia and there’s a lot of mess in the church world because we say we’re hearing from God and it’s our spirit and some of us who get into sin drugs and all that they’re hearing from the evil harmful destructive spirit they’re listening to that spirit it’s destructive. Can I hear an amen and so the Holy Ghost is very important and the baptism of Holy Ghost will revolutionize your life I’m telling you. All right. go on to the book of Acts here the apostles are before the Sanhedrin the Jewish leaders we ought to obey God rather than men number one statement do all agree with that do we okay gonna cost you if you really agree with that.

▶ 29:17 Gonna cost you it’s gonna start right in your family. And you can try to hold your family together so desperately that you cave in. [unclear] came to church. Alleluia. The God of our fathers he’s talking to these Jews God okay. Raised up Jesus who raised up Jesus from the dead God all right whom you murdered you. Jews and spiritual leaders you murdered Jesus hung him on the cross.

▶ 30:10 you didn’t know he was supposed to die for the sins [unclear] they did know [unclear] was supposed to die for them but you didn’t think he was the one dying for the sins of the world that’s why he had to be killed and. him God him is Jesus God so he got Jesus and God [unclear] right why do we want to argue about it the Bible speaks of two identities let’s just accept the fact there’s two [unclear] three identities God exalted Jesus to his right hand so where’s Jesus today. Yes where was Jesus before he came to earth at the right hand of the father yes you guys know your Bible in the Old Testament he was at the right hand of the father in the New Testament he ascended and went back to the right hand of the father so how many identities are up there.

▶ 31:10 How many did Stephen see. He saw Jesus standing at the right hand of the father the glory of God and you see we get into these intellectual debates that mean nothing you must compare what spiritual things with spiritual and only the spirit can open that up to you that’s why prayer reading the word which is spirit and praising God is so important for you. God will start opening up the book to you. Amen. Now. He is a prince and a saviour he’s the only one that can save us and forgive us of our sins folks priests and pastors can’t forgive you we can forgive people between us so we don’t have animosity and hatred for them but only God only Jesus can forgive you and deliver you from sin and that lake of fire there is no priest that can do that there is no protestant minister that can do that only Jesus Christ.

▶ 32:23 and I was telling this Catholic boy I already found his trust was in Jesus I said why would you go to Mary when you can go to the top guy Jesus I said that makes no sense and he goes don’t have to change that. yeah what’s Mary got to do with anything Jesus is the top guy he has the power and authority to forgive you deliver you amen and what I want to talk to. St. Paul or Saint Peter or whatever they’re just human beings I said you need to check your doctrine in that Catholic church and then I told him you need to get into a spirit-filled church 25 percent of Catholics are spirit-filled he says oh you’re talking about those happy people like oh yes yep that’s the ones you need to go to their service and let the spirit begin to open your mind in your heart to the truths of God’s word amen and Ilia’s with me there [unclear] we just have a great time when we’re out.

▶ 33:38 Now. This prince and this savior he’s a king and kings and princes are also judges aren’t they yeah they’re the supreme judge in a natural kingdom to give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel you say we ought obey God rather than men and then he lists Jesus’s birth. Death resurrection. Forgiveness repentance king of kings and savior he lists all those things he [unclear] exalted to the right hand of the father and then he says this is the kicker we who’s we the apostles and the 70 and 120 that were in the upper room are what his witnesses to what these things are witness to what these things what things right here.

▶ 34:37 That Jesus is messiah he come down he died on the cross for the sins of the world he can forgive you if you repent and turn from that sin and confess your sin he has the authority to forgive you and folks this is the message that’s why Paul says I [unclear] not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified why because this is the power of God unto salvation knowing where Cain’s wife comes from and knowing if there was a billion years of one day in Genesis or a million years or just 24-hour isn’t gonna do you any good what’s gonna do you good is this gospel. Can I hear an amen and that’s why I [unclear] people back to this they try to get off on tangents I bring them back to the cross why the cross is where the conviction power is that’s the transition from the natural man to the spiritual man.

▶ 35:37 And. knowing where Cain’s wife come from doesn’t do you a bit of good and I will tell them I said I’ll answer your questions if you let me tell you about Jesus and if they will [unclear] answer their questions because I’ve I’ve witnessed enough to enough people I know all their questions and I know how to their answers I know the answers to them and sure enough when I answer their question then I say okay tell me about Jesus and then I can tell them about they don’t always accept Jesus but because they promised they [unclear] hear and they got the gospel message and the rest is up to what the Holy Spirit and them amen. these things remember that statement these things we are witnesses to these things and also is the what Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will always be witnessing these things and every one of them is about Jesus isn’t that right yes.

How do we recognize the spirit of antichrist?

▶ Watch this part (36:51)

Short answer: First John 4:2–3: every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ came in the flesh is of God; one that doesn’t is antichrist. There are many antichrists.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 36:51 First John 4:2 every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh Jesus the messiah is of God. [unclear] higher power. Great spirit supreme spirit we know they’re not of God because they don’t talk about who Jesus Christ the messiah that was promised to come he is it every spirit that does not confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God that’s just plain english you don’t need any greek or hebrew that’s just plain english right now he says this is the spirit of antichrist now I know you’ve watched a lot of tv ministers and I know that you’ve watched Left Behind and all that stuff and I know that you’ve been hearing that there is a big bad antichrist coming but anyone John says that does not confess that Jesus has come in the flesh John 1:1 in the beginning was the word the word was with God and the word was God amen the word was God and the word became flesh and dwelt amongst us any.

▶ 38:18 Spirit that doesn’t confess that is antichrist and John goes on to say there are many antichrist where do we get one we get one because people want to take the son of perdition over and make him the antichrist and the big bad beast in the Revelations they want to pull all that stuff together. Instead of just speaking it like the Bible teaches it are you with me and [unclear] means opponent of Christ opposing Christ now in. first John 4:6 he who knows God hears us and whose us the apostles who wrote the New Testament and the Holy Ghost the Holy Ghost is witness of what these things say these things these things the birth the death burial resurrection ascension of Christ for the sins of the world these things he is the king of kings of Lord of Lord all power in heaven and earth is given unto him and he is the savior the only one that can save you from your sin and savior from hell.

▶ 39:36 Amen. he who knows God hears us they hear the apostles they go to the scriptures and the Holy Ghost he who does not know God does not hear us by this we know the spirit of truth which is the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit and the comforter and the spirit of what error. can our spirit be in error [unclear] the evil spirits in error oh [unclear] that’s all they know [unclear] and they try to entice you to do wrong but our spirit can be in error and that makes us antichrist. When we’re opposing these things say these things again these things.

Scripture (NKJV)

1 John 4:2-3 (NKJV)

By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Can believers have all of God?

▶ Watch this part (40:30)

Short answer: Yes. John 14:23: if anyone loves Jesus, he will keep his word, and the Father and Son will make their home with him. A believer differs from a lover of Jesus.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 40:30 So the Holy Ghost supports what Jesus and truth. In other words he’ll always support and backup Jesus Christ and the scriptures the Bible. That’s why it’s so important folks. The Holy Spirit is very important so is God we started out with God back there three months ago remember. Now. You can have all of God. The Bible promises all of God I. Want you to think on that statement for a minute believers may have all of God.

▶ 41:26 Don’t let people get you off on tangents get you off on men’s doctrines. You get tuned into this Holy Ghost asked him to come and fill you. You can have all of God and this is all of God are you ready John 14:23 if any man loves me that’s Jesus Jesus is talking if any man loves Jesus number one he will what you see there’s a difference between a believer and a lover of Jesus a big difference a believer can trounce on God’s word trounce on Jesus’s name justify it and everything else and they do but when you’re in love with him you want to please him.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 14:23 (NKJV)

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

What does love look like?

▶ Watch this part (42:26)

Short answer: Love does no harm; in marriage, loving your spouse means not hurting them. Love does not boast; neither does the Spirit. Acts 5:32: the Spirit is given to those who obey.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 42:26 You want to appreciate it you want to show your appreciation to him. You don’t want to do anything to hurt him because love does not hurt does no harm to others amen that’s the Bible definition of love and here’s where a lot American Christians in my view of America miss it they believe their church doctrine they believe the books in the bookstore they believe the way they were raised and they have never come to a place where they actually love the Lord Jesus Christ and out of that love relationship. obey his word amen.

▶ 43:19 Say it’s the same with a marriage you believe you’re married because you stood before a minister and you got marriage license all right so you believe you’re married but then you go out on your spouse you spend the money in the home ridiculously you do things to hurt your children you do things to hurt your spouse you don’t love your spouse you just believe you’re married and you know we did the right thing here and you know we’re okay if you really love your spouse you’re not gonna say things that hurt them you’re not gonna do things that hurt them or the home. Just letting you think on that see I was taught this stuff by the Holy Ghost.

▶ 44:21 when I asked Becky to marry me I told her I understand love I understand love is. Beyond affection and you can count on me being faithful to you and doing nothing to hurt you all the days of our life because I understand the Bible definition of love and I will disagree with her if she’s wrong and she’ll really disagree with me if I’m wrong. but she loves me she’s not out to kick me out and step on me she loves me to pick me up. are you there [unclear] love and God is love and when people say they have God well what you’re saying is you have that spirit of love why are you mistreating people when you say you’ve got God and God loves.

▶ 45:21 Love doesn’t demand its own way does it first Corinthians 13 love doesn’t boast of itself the Holy Spirit doesn’t boast of itself didn’t we just read that yeah you see why the Holy Ghost is so important he won’t he won’t boast to himself and he won’t allow you to boast to yourself. I’m [unclear] the spiritual one of this family well I’m nothing [unclear] are you there [unclear] this Holy Ghost [unclear] a lot broader than we’ve been told and that’s the Holy Ghost that I experienced back there 20 years old. It took me 10 years of preparation before I ever got in the ministry it took God that long to shape me up to trust me being in full-time ministry in other words just because you get filled with the Holy Ghost it doesn’t mean you know everything and can do everything you got a big time and season of training because he only gives you a little about a little line upon line precept upon precept okay are you with me all right.

▶ 46:38 my father [unclear] number two my father. So God is called the father Jesus is called his son will love him and plural we will come to him and make what our plural abode with him you can have Jesus and God living in your life and why is that important because there’s two responsibilities. different ones for each one if you want to be saved who do you go to Jesus absolutely if you want forgiveness who you go to Jesus yeah. God conceives us. the father is a conceiver okay that’s why you got to be born of the spirit has nothing to do with baptism of the Holy Ghost it’s got to do with the father conceiving you is that clear yeah and for people to say you know you’re not saved if you don’t speak in tongues or filled with the Holy Ghost [unclear] just nonsense nothing in the Bible says that we just come up with ideas and we try to make the scriptures work into them.

▶ 47:56 The father will give you another comforter who’s the comforter the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost the spirit of truth that he may abide with you forever they’re gonna come and abide with you and then the Holy Ghost is gonna come and abide with you and when you have all three of them in you you got the fullness of God. Amen and when you need a father he’s there when you need a savior or a friend Jesus also is our friend when you need any aspect of God all of God is in you and you can draw from them and when you go to the scriptures you can understand [unclear] part they have oh yeah. The Holy Ghost whom God has given to them that what obey him so obeying is important you see when he comes to you and convicts you of something you need to respond then he can convince you of something else and you can keep moving up the ladder step by step it’s like starting in kindergarten and graduating from college it takes a lot of time to learn it [unclear] if you’re not attending you’re not gonna learn in your lifetime.

▶ 49:21 when people don’t go to church they [unclear] what the spirit is saying to the church [unclear] that’s what revelation says seven times any man have an ear let him hear what the spirit saying to the church and what the spirit’s saying these things [unclear] right yes. Amen and when you don’t read your Bible through the week which is spiritual food when you don’t pray when you don’t worship through the week you’re not gonna grow that’s just the way it is. All right I want to sing a song the doxology all right the doxology tells us who we praise praise who God praise father son and Holy Ghost the doxology tells us why we praise him all.

▶ 50:22 Blessings come from them all good things come from them and then the doxology tells us who praises him all creatures here below are you a living human being are you here on earth you are to praise your God and when you die and go to heaven and join the angels of heavenly hosts you’re gonna be what praising him up there this is a beautiful song that most every church accepts as pure doctrine all right so if you want the fullness of God and you’re willing to show it to all three let’s stand with me and let’s sing the doxology.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: Names of congregants and family are in the transcript only. Kept as spoken: “Hawkins” (likely Stephen Hawking) quote, “something out of nothing” (2:10); garbled terms marked [unclear]. Points to check: Stephen Hawking quote as paraphrased; NASA claim about the earth stopping (7:28); AA “less than 7 percent results” (23:13); “25 percent of Catholics are spirit-filled” (32:40). Sensitive content kept as spoken: evolution claims “as dumb as you can get”; Bill O’Reilly’s priest called the Bible allegory; Jesus-only/Oneness teaching “ridiculous”; Mormon encounter, “your spirit an evil spirit”; Native American and African spirits, Alcoholics Anonymous higher power; Church of Satan encounter; Catholics and Mary; Left Behind antichrist teaching.
