The Holy Spirit Speaks to All Mankind 10/15/2017: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Pastor David G. Kincer teaches that the Holy Spirit speaks to all mankind—backsliders, the faithful and the world—through the conscience, with or without preaching. From 1 Timothy 4, John 7 and John 16 he covers the seared conscience, the outpouring on all flesh, conviction of sin, righteousness and judgment, and guidance into all truth, then argues from John 3:18–21 and Romans 2 that people are condemned for evil deeds against conscience, and calls the church to get the message out.
What does the Holy Spirit do?
Short answer: He speaks to all mankind, so we must hear him. We need him to show up, speak and manifest his power—the third part of the Godhead.
▶ 0:01 We’re going to talk about the Holy Spirit we’ve been talking about what God said to Jesus and it was very powerful the Holy Spirit is so important God the father God the son God the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit is very important and the Holy Spirit the Bible says speaks to all mankind what does he do he speaks so if he’s speaking we need to be able to what hear him and this is what [unclear] about today we need the Holy Spirit to manifest itself [unclear] doing our little mechanical things we need the Holy Spirit to show up and not only speak but manifest his power in his people and in the earth it’s the third part of the godhead now.
What does 1 Timothy 4:1 say?
Short answer: The Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith. The last days began at Pentecost (tongues, Joel’s prophecy); in Acts 4 they spoke the word with boldness.
▶ 1:02 we’re gonna go to first Timothy chapter 4 verse 1 the spirit expressly says plainly says clearly says that in the last day so number 1 Paul is saying the spirits talking in me and he’s saying something. All right he doesn’t come just to make you feel good he comes to talk to you and to change you develop you in the latter times [unclear] the last days now we know that the last days started at least on the day of Pentecost. when Joel’s prophecy came to pass in the last days I will pour out my spirit on all flesh your sons and daughters shall prophesy your old men will dream dreams your young men will see visions and they spoke in tongues that day 15 different languages they didn’t need an interpreter they spoke in every language of everybody that was there in Jerusalem okay so tongues are a part of the expression a manifestation of the Holy Ghost whether you believe it or not it is.
▶ 2:11 Amen and it’s one of the nine gifts of the spirit but in Acts 4 where he poured out the Holy Ghost again it said they spoke the word of God with confidence they didn’t speak in tongues the second time the Holy Ghost was poured out they spoke the word of God in their language with confidence with assurance and signs and wonders followed I mean wouldn’t you like both speaking the word be confident and signs and wonders following yes this is where the Holy Ghost comes in see this is where he comes in now. The latter times really started when Jesus came he ended the old era and began a new one but anyway we are in the last days and we know we’re in the last days because there was a falling away and God began to restore back the truths he had visited Europe and America with four great awakenings of spiritual awakenings knowledge is increased the Jews got back to their homeland so we know we are in the latter end of the last days okay and it’s been going on for 2,000 years we don’t know how much longer it’s going to go on but we know that the the evidence is there that we’re in the latter end of the last days okay.
Scripture in this part
1 Timothy 4:1 (NKJV)
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
— 1 Timothy 4:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:03Acts 2:17 (NKJV)
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
— Acts 2:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:46 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Acts 4:31 (NKJV)
And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
— Acts 4:31 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 2:22 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Can those who depart be restored?
Short answer: Yes—Isaiah 49:6 says it’s easy for God, and his salvation reaches the ends of the earth. The Spirit speaks to backsliders and the faithful alike.
▶ 3:32 Now and he’s saying something in our day got it he’s saying something we’re in the latter days the last days okay now what does he say some will depart from the faith number one he’s talking to those who once were persuaded of the moral righteousness of Christ his death on the cross and living for him you see but they departed. now we remember in Isaiah where we started out with it’s too easy for Jesus to be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and restore the survivors of Israel it’s too easy for God to reach these people he goes on to say I’m gonna give Jesus the nation’s and my salvation will extend to the ends of the earth all right isn’t that powerful and the Holy Spirit saying that’s going to happen okay and we know the great falling away came and we know that there’s restoration and we know that people that was once in the faith left the faith today isn’t that right can they still be saved yes the Holy Spirit can speak to them he can get through to them and then you got the faithful they didn’t leave the faith they stayed faithful the Holy Spirit is speaking to the faithful awesome now
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 49:6 (NKJV)
Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
— Isaiah 49:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:12 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What marks those who depart?
Short answer: They follow deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, promoting sin in God’s name—hypocrisy—and their conscience is seared as with a hot iron, like a cattle brand.
▶ 5:04 the ones that depart from the faith they give heed to deceiving spirits doctrines of demons these doctrines from moral right doctrines to immoral doctrines and this is happening in our generation in America today this is happening isn’t it yeah. In the name of Jesus in the name of God in the name of the Bible people are promoting sin unrighteousness. All right now. They speak lies in hypocrisy yes hypocrisy is saying one thing and doing another all right and here they’re saying God says it’s okay to commit adultery to get drunk and to take drugs and you know have homosexual [unclear] they’re saying it’s okay and the Bible says no that is not acceptable doesn’t it so they are hypocrites when they say they believe in God and they believe in the Bible and they approve these things that’s hypocritical.
▶ 6:06 Could that be an amen yes now they have their own conscience the recognition of right and wrong seared with a hot iron now. This is where the Holy Ghost speaks he speaks into your conscience. That built-in mechanism of God for you to know right and wrong are you with me they sear it with you know when they brand cattle you know this is the H&H brand [unclear] they burned that into the cattle that area where they burned is insensitive you can hit that and all that the cow can’t feel a thing okay these that depart from the faith their conscience is seared and yet Isaiah said it’s too easy for Jesus to restore them.
Scripture in this part
1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV)
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
— 1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:14 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Does the Spirit need preaching to convict?
Short answer: No—he speaks to the conscience with or without preaching. The Comforter, Holy Ghost, Spirit of truth are names of one person, God’s Spirit.
▶ 7:07 isn’t that powerful that’s how powerful the death of Christ is. That’s how powerful his blood is alright so he’s speaking in our conscience with or without the preaching of the word did you hear what I said the Holy Spirit speaks to people’s conscience with. The preaching of the word coming to them or without it the Holy Spirit doesn’t need preaching to convict you he’s that powerful. Now. When the comforter in John which is the Holy Spirit which is the Holy Ghost which is the spirit of truth which is the spirit of God all those names are the names of the spirit this like Jesus has many names so we can understand him the Holy Spirit has many names so when you say Holy Ghost you’re saying Holy Spirit when you’re saying Holy Spirit you’re saying the spirit of truth whatever that’s the Holy Spirit the third person of the godhead the third expression of the godhead and the Holy Spirit throughout the Bible is called a he it is a person because it is God.
Scripture in this part
John 14:26 (NKJV)
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
— John 14:26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:49 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Who can receive the Spirit?
Short answer: Everyone. Jesus promised rivers of living water from the believer’s innermost being; at Pentecost the Spirit was poured out on all flesh. On this, he says, Pentecostals and charismatics are correct.
▶ 8:29 The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God God is a what spirit and the Holy Spirit is his spirit manifesting his purposes on the earth in people. Amen now. When the spirit of truth comes now this is where the Pentecostals and charismatics have it right [unclear] the fundamentalists and evangelicals and the Catholics believe it or not this is where the [unclear] and the Pentecostals are totally correct the Holy Spirit was promised to what come why because Jesus was going to go to the father. When Jesus was on the earth he was the teacher he was the expression of God but when he ascended back into heaven God sent the Holy Ghost down on the day of Pentecost and baptized.
▶ 9:27 Fulfilling the scriptures that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh and on the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts chapter two that was fulfilled and this is Jesus talking the comforter is going to come and in John he says that out of your innermost being they that believe on me out of their innermost being rivers of life-giving water will flow okay. But he says he’s speaking of the spirit that should come he hadn’t come because Jesus had not been glorified yet so there was a coming of the Holy Ghost to everyone not just in the Old Testament where they had select people that had the Holy Ghost move upon them in the New Testament in the new covenant everybody can have the Holy Ghost empowered.
Scripture in this part
John 7:38-39 (NKJV)
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
— John 7:38-39 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:51 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What will the Spirit convict the world of?
Short answer: Sin, righteousness and judgment. He warns that drink, drugs and sexual permissiveness bring their own penalties, and we will be judged now and eternally.
▶ 10:24 Amen everybody all flesh alright now. When he comes when I go to my father he will convict the world of. sin now the world is all of mankind including the unbeliever the atheist the humanists the agnostic whatever and it includes the believer and it includes a backslider so he talks to the ones that backslide and fall away from the faith he talks to the faithful to keep us faithful and he talks to the world he is speaking he has a message alright. and he’s going to convict the world of sin of right and of judgment and everybody says judge not lest you be judged well let me tell you the Holy Ghost comes to tell you there is a judgment the Holy Ghost comes to tell you you need to make a decision you need to make a judgement whether to follow wrong or follow right and these people that say well don’t judge me don’t judge me one of the expressions of the Holy Ghost is to bring you to the understanding.
▶ 11:37 That you’re going to be judged by God both now on earth and in the eternal judgment to come. If you want to reject the word of God and [unclear] drink alcohol and get intoxicated and take drugs and smoke marijuana you’re gonna pay the price of that action. 80,000 people die from alcohol-related deaths every year hundreds of people die from marijuana. Related deaths every year and yet they say that marijuana does not cause death it does. And so you know you’re going to bring harm to your life you go out and live sexually permissive you’re gonna get venereal diseases you’re gonna get aids you’re gonna get syphilis and all these things.
Scripture in this part
John 16:8 (NKJV)
And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
— John 16:8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:35 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What else does the Spirit do?
Short answer: He guides into all truth, speaking what he hears from the Father—the whole counsel of God, which he says the American church lacks. He was filled two weeks after salvation.
▶ 12:36 That’s the payment you’re gonna pay and half of America has or has had a venereal disease because we’re living in a very permissive age are you there and two of these are incurable and they lead to death all right. So. We are to judge and we are to let the Holy Ghost come and judge could that be an amen now he will guide you into what all truth see the things of the spirit are revealed by the spirit you see we need the Holy Ghost that prayer this morning was a [unclear] lot of times we don’t get this stuff because our minds aren’t focused on the hearing from God but that prayer was right on we need the Holy Spirit to come in the church we need the Holy Spirit to come and move on America in the world don’t we and who’s he going to move through us.
▶ 13:42 now [unclear] now he’s going to guide you into all truth. Not just salvation all truth Paul said I have not ceased [unclear] to teach you the whole counsel of God and this is what’s lacking in the American church we hear the second coming we hear salvation water baptism and and a little basic doctrines and we don’t hear the meat of the word we don’t hear the wisdom of the word and so we are in America we are a weak church now he will speak so how is he going to convict he’s going to what speak not of his own message not his own authority but what he hears hears from who the father.
▶ 14:37 Amen. He speaks folks the Holy Ghost comes to speak he doesn’t come to cause you to get the shakes. he doesn’t come to cause you to run around oh all joyful and yet the emotions can be there but he comes to what speak what God has told him to speak to you personally. [unclear] the Holy Ghost changed my life I got filled with the Holy Ghost two weeks after I got saved it revolutionized my life just totally turned my life around because that’s his ministry he comes to speak and if you listen to him that’s why I spend a lot of time when they invited people to come up and and God you know they did that back in the church I got saved in and every service I was up there talking to God God talking to me getting changed getting transformed I can’t do it on my own I need the Holy Ghost working in me and I have to seek him as the prayer said today.
Scripture in this part
John 16:13 (NKJV)
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
— John 16:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:08 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Acts 20:27 (NKJV)
For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
— Acts 20:27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:57 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Does the Spirit speak to churches?
Short answer: Seven times Revelation says to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He poured out the Spirit on every denomination, Catholics included, though phony things followed.
▶ 15:52 He only speaks what he hears now seven times in the book of Revelation the first few chapters seven times the Bible says hear what the spirit is saying to the church hear what the spirit is saying is the Holy Spirit speaking to the church yes. And no matter what condition you’re in there are seven conditions of the church there in Revelation whatever condition you’re in the Holy Spirit’s coming to talk to you and bring you up and keep bringing you up. Into his image his likeness and to being a light to the world this is a growing process do you understand what we’re saying so far now the Holy Ghost is poured out on all flesh the Pentecostal charismatic do not have a handle on the Holy Ghost the Pentecostals in the 50s when I grew up and in the 60s thought they were the elect people.
▶ 16:54 The full gospel people you know if you want the fullness of God you got to come to us so what did God do he come and just poured out the Holy Ghost on every denomination. ending in 1968 with the Catholics [unclear] he didn’t ask the pope anything he just came and filled Catholics with the Holy Ghost are you there. But what happened then is the Holy Ghost became a common thing in the 50s it was frowned on people talked about it and if you spoke in tongues or you went to a Pentecostal church you were looked at as the people on the other side of the track the [unclear] you know the poverty [unclear] the outcasts and then when God poured it [unclear] the denominations [unclear] a common thing and then you had a lot of phony stuff going on.
Scripture in this part
Revelation 2:7 (NKJV)
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’
— Revelation 2:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 16:05 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What three points does the Spirit convict of?
Short answer: From Daniel 12:1–3: live forever by knowing God, live right, and an everlasting judgment for wrongdoing. Ministers must speak only this Spirit-given message.
▶ 17:47 Are you there. Hallelujah the Holy Spirit speaks and we need to hear it now I’ll give you a brief reminder from last week God [unclear] has always had three objectives in Daniel chapter 12 verses one through three a time of trouble who will come at the time of the end the last days at the last days all found written in the book shall be delivered the book of life they’ll be delivered delivered from the trouble and delivered [unclear] you see three objectives God wants you to live forever and one of the aspects of living forever [unclear] you know God and his son Jesus Christ you have a personal encounter with them you have an intimate relationship with them not just living forever and the judgment for those who reject right and [unclear]
▶ 18:43 turning to right it’s all through the Bible amen now. God sent the Holy Ghost to convict mankind of these three points. That’s why the Holy Ghost was poured out on the day of Pentecost to convict to convince mankind of these three points I want you to live forever and to do that you got to repent accept my punishment for your sin and live right and if you don’t there’s an everlasting judgment and the Holy Ghost comes to convict and speak to mankind this message and no minister has a right to speak any message of their own they got to speak with the Holy Spirit speaking. Everlasting life doing right and there is a judgment if you do wrong.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 12:1-3 (NKJV)
“At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
— Daniel 12:1-3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:02Why are people condemned?
Short answer: John 3:18–19: he who believes not is condemned—but “this is the condemnation”: men love darkness because their deeds are evil. He teaches people are condemned for evil deeds, not simply for not believing.
▶ 19:45 Now. Repent possess eternal life and escape eternal damnation now we’re going to go to John chapter three verse eighteen am I getting this clear so far all right Holy Ghost is very important folks very important so is the father and so is Jesus they’re all three significant important in what they do alright he who believes in Jesus is not condemned. And I’m gonna show you a big error the church makes here alright he who believes in Jesus is not condemned they’re not sent to the lake of fire they’re not going to be punished. He who believes not is condemned already.
▶ 20:38 Alright and so I asked the question why are they condemned. This one believes and not condemned this one believes not is condemned already why. Why would God do that believe means to trust you don’t trust in Jesus you go to hell that’s it. For he’s not believed in the name of the lord’s only begotten son and then we stopped there and we say people don’t believe in Jesus they’re lost. Are they. would a just God [unclear] people [unclear] the pygmies in the deep heart of the Congo that in my growing up never heard the message yet.
▶ 21:35 would he send them to hell because they don’t believe and they haven’t heard about it [unclear] but we stopped there and we condemned the whole world for not believing on Jesus Christ but Jesus doesn’t stop here we stop here but he doesn’t stop here now you want to find out why they are condemned. Jesus keeps talking. This is the condemnation okay [unclear] making it clear isn’t it this is the punishment this is the condemnation that. Light has come into the world Jesus has come into the world and men love darkness rather than light because they’re what they are evil so why are they condemned because they didn’t believe or because their deeds were evil.
▶ 22:30 Yeah. Yeah. Christians have a real ability to go to the scriptures and stop before they get the whole truth and condemn people that God hasn’t really condemned are you there whoo. You see this is the condemnation these people that are condemned love darkness and their deeds their behavior is evil it’s harmful they do things that hurt themselves they do things that hurt others they do things that hurt their family that’s why they’re condemned not because they didn’t believe. well [unclear] that makes sense now let’s back it up.
Scripture in this part
John 3:18-19 (NKJV)
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
— John 3:18-19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 19:53Can believers be lost?
Short answer: Yes—the Jews believed in God but rejected Jesus; Judas did miracles yet was lost. Egyptians who believed and acted spared their servants and cattle. God judges harmful deeds after much mercy.
▶ 23:23 will a just God punish people for not believing on Jesus is that a good question yeah that’s a very good question none in the Bible was punished by God or his civil rulers that he picked for not believing none. That’s just like no one in the Bible was punished because they thought about doing evil they were punished when they did evil. Okay. Now. But for their harmful deeds after much mercy okay now the new testament Jews when Jesus came to earth did they believe in God. Yes the Bible says they believed in God yeah it says over and over they believed in God did they reject Jesus yeah they believed in God the father but they didn’t believe in God the son they rejected him.
▶ 24:33 But they were what believers did they go to heaven. No Jesus said you go out and you make proselytes two times more the child of hell than you are he plainly said they’re going to hell and the people that follow their doctrine go into hell with them. Are you there did they believe in God yes the New Testament says over and over they believed in God. Did their belief in God keep them from being punished no. Have I got your attention I should say has the Holy Ghost got your attention. You see and this is what this prayer was about and we we’re in some kind of season where we don’t catch the spirit speaking in our services and we don’t know how to build on things.
▶ 25:38 Anyway hopefully God’s gonna come and and change all that now. Judas was he a believer absolutely did he do miracles absolutely did he cast out demons absolutely did he preach the word and people got saved absolutely. Did he go to heaven absolutely not. Amen. Egypt. Moses went down to Egypt God brought ten plagues upon the Egyptians at the seventh plague when the hail was to come down like fire and kill the cattle and anyone in the fields the Bible says this the Bible says that many Egyptians fearing God brought their animals out of the field and their servants.
▶ 26:42 Are you there you see God reached many Egyptians. The mixed multitude that came out with Israel was these Egyptians that got converted from the judgment. [unclear] they believed it says they believed [unclear] six plagues had come by and it happened just like Moses had said so on the seventh they said hey get our servants get our employees and get our cattle all of our animals out of the fields and sure enough the ones who did that they didn’t lose their servants their employees or their animals the ones who didn’t listen lost them. [unclear] so the believers acted and what saved.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 23:15 (NKJV)
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.
— Matthew 23:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 24:44 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Exodus 9:20 (NKJV)
He who feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his livestock flee to the houses.
— Exodus 9:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 26:38 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How will people call on the Lord?
Short answer: Romans 10:13–15: they must hear, and preachers must be sent. He says the church once filled billboards and tracts but now stays within its four walls.
▶ 27:40 See believing has to have an action but there were many Egyptians that didn’t believe and they didn’t act and they lost their employees their servants and they lost their animals because they didn’t believe their action did not respond to the message you got it and then three more plagues came along hallelujah. God judges people for their harmful deeds after much what mercy. and we translate God’s mercy [unclear] I’m getting away with it. And then God shows up and does something now let me give you further proof Romans 10:13 all who call on the name of the Lord shall be what saved.
▶ 28:41 And that was the invitation that’s coming call on the Lord that was a good invitation the service structure this morning was good but somewhere we’re not tuned in to catch what [unclear] God wants to do [unclear] want to change that you want to come and get tuned in yes alright now. How shall they call if they have not believed. How shall they believe if they have not what heard and how shall they hear unless someone preaches it and how can someone go and preach it unless they are sent the twelve apostles that Jesus brought unto himself see. He talked to them he he influenced them he impacted them then he sent them out he sent them out with authority there’s a difference between people sharing Christ and people that are sent to share the word a big difference.
▶ 29:49 now is this right how they gonna believe if they haven’t heard and how they gonna hear unless somebody gets the message out and what’s wrong in America today you know back in the hippy days. Billboards. Had verses and things about Jesus on them and you couldn’t go anywhere without tracts being passed out to you and am I right yeah I mean and those tracts [unclear] and they bring conviction the Holy Spirit would convict me. Today it’s just not there. The churches are just in the little four walls we don’t rent billboards anymore we don’t get on radio we don’t get on tv and teach that there is life everlasting that there is a judgement and a punishment for breaking God’s word and that we are to live right.
Scripture in this part
Romans 10:13-15 (NKJV)
For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
— Romans 10:13-15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:34How are those without the law judged?
Short answer: Romans 2:14–15: their conscience bears witness, accusing or excusing. In a vision of the judgment, everyone knew they were guilty. An 86-year-old man accepted Christ once his questions were answered.
▶ 30:50 The churches are building fancy buildings and everybody’s just wrapped up and raising families and enjoying life but in the 60s and the 70s you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing the gospel it was everywhere. the conclusion of my confirmation that they [unclear] that they weren’t judged because of unbelief all right Romans 2:14. Gentiles Gentiles are the opposite of God’s people they’re not God’s people the Gentiles the nations they’re the unbelievers. The Gentiles who without what the law without the word they never heard the word or they might have heard it and rejected it.
▶ 31:45 okay I don’t want the law or they [unclear] ever heard of the law God’s word the Gentiles who without the law show the work of the law written in their hearts their what. Conscience see where does the Holy Ghost speak in people’s conscience it isn’t some voice from heaven [unclear] you better stop that he speaks in our conscience. All right bearing witness what witness they don’t have the word and yet they have the law of God written in their heart by their conscience bearing witness and what witness is it accusing or excusing them at the what day of judgment so when they go to the judgment seat of Christ they’re gonna be judged by.
▶ 32:41 Knowing what was right to do and not doing it. He will judge the world and righteousness and his people with his truth yeah. so when I had a vision as a young minister a young Christian [unclear] a minister yet the judgment throne I was watching tv getting ready to go to work and I was watching tv and all of a sudden the tv changed from that program to a heavenly program now you can say that’s crazy [unclear] you know anyway it happened all right. And I saw both hell and I saw heaven in this vision and it’s perfectly scriptural your [unclear] dream dreams [unclear] your young men will see visions [unclear] God can show us things [unclear] the judgment seat what really shocked me is the people stood there not one by one as the cartoons [unclear] they stood there the multitudes before the throne and every one of them knew they were guilty because they knew in the presence of God that they knew it was wrong when they did it and that was their condemnation and there was no argument there was no debate.
▶ 34:11 They accepted God’s judgment just it all happened just bam are you there and see all that’s backed up in scripture so I had an 86 year old man Acquaintance of mine and I called him up one day and I said listen I want to come to your house and I’m not going to come to your house for a visit I want to come to you and I want to share Christ with you and if you don’t want me to come just tell me. [unclear] I got time to fool around with people I got time to waste he said okay I will hear your message of Christ if you answer three questions I said you got it I got in my car I drove over there and one of the questions he asked me. The first question he asked me how can you people. Condemn people to go to hell when they’ve never even heard that doesn’t make sense and I said sir you are right and I showed him these scriptures and then he asked me two more questions and he looked at me and said man you know your Bible.
▶ 35:22 Would they say that about you now you know your Bible or do you know what’s been said on the radio. are you there and that man listened to my message on Christ and accepted Christ and his wife would not she sat right there listened to the whole thing she rejected Christ he accepted Christ at 86 years old. Amen because his questions were answered and they were good questions. Now. These Gentiles either had not heard or rejected the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. If they reject it or they never heard it they’re still going to be judged by their conscience.
Scripture in this part
Romans 2:14-15 (NKJV)
for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)
— Romans 2:14-15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 31:24Why do people reject Christ?
Short answer: Those practicing evil hate the light lest their deeds be exposed; he who does the truth comes to the light. He urges the church to spend to get the message out, saying homosexual activists spent millions in the Bible Belt.
▶ 36:20 Amen how many of you know there’s some people out there don’t believe in God that live better than Christians who believe in God yeah you know yeah in fact some of your Christian people you’re embarrassed of aren’t you yeah. And when that Christian gets up there and he stands before that judgment seat and he says I’m a believer he doesn’t say [unclear] in the vision nobody speaks he knew even though he was a believer he did things that were wrong that he knew they were wrong and he was judged for those things that he knew. so a believer can go to hell Judas is one of them are you there yeah a big difference between a believer and a follower of Christ a disciple of Christ now let’s continue.
▶ 37:15 Everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light lest his deeds should be exposed. everyone what practicing it’s not like we make a mistake and we correct it it’s like habitually we practice the sin. Amen. You know Christians make mistakes I mean we know that you make mistakes don’t you yeah yeah and the Holy Spirit has to come and buck you up alright. They hate the light and you know all this hate in the world today America hates Jesus they hate the Bible and they hate Christians and they never address that issue. And they won’t come to the light Jesus lest his deeds should what be exposed that’s why they reject Christ they don’t want to do right.
▶ 38:14 But he who does the truth comes to God comes to Jesus that his deeds may be clearly seen that they have been done in God and that was the invitation to come let’s seek God let him expose these things in us that needed to be changed and I know every one of you could have responded to that call but we’re not tuned in and hopefully these messages will get us tuned in we need the Holy Spirit you can’t do these in your mental intellect. you can’t serve God in your mental intellect [unclear] spirit ministering to you encouraging you speaking to you strengthening you amen yes yeah give the Lord yeah give the Holy Spirit a clap offering yeah.
▶ 39:10 Listen. Right now ministers are. Going to have their housing allowance taken away there’s a court case going to the supreme [unclear] right now you see they’re after the church they want the church to pay property taxes I mean they’re after [unclear] the homosexuals listen to this the homosexuals went into the southern states the Bible belt [unclear] heard of the Bible belt yeah everybody’s a Baptist down there all right the Baptist belt and They went in and they put millions of dollars in propaganda. Convincing people in the big cities of the south all right and the legislators that homosexual [unclear] okay that transgender is okay in other words sin is okay and the.
▶ 40:17 Civil leaders are starting to believe it and making laws that is advancing. Sexual immorality and hindering the church speaking against it that’s in the Bible belt see they already had New York Chicago you know the upper state [unclear] Los Angeles Sacramento now they spent millions of dollars and I submit to you where is the church spending any money you don’t see any message on billboards you go to Las Vegas or wherever and you see casinos you know acting like you can make money [unclear] you know [unclear] and live the life of luxury and they advertise they advertise cigarettes are advertised alcohol is advertised where do you ever see Christian advertisement in our day.
▶ 41:17 Righteous advertisement. And see because we don’t put money into the message we’re losing the battle and this church doesn’t put money into the message we’re very comfortable with coming in worshipping and have our Christian school and all this and then [unclear] our fellowships and We’ve lost the drive the fight to get the message out that there is eternal life that there is a judgment to come and that there is a life to live rightly and expose the wrong am I right the Catholics the Protestants they’re all in a
▶ 42:13 an easy attitude right now. You don’t see real evangelism going on in big crowds anymore [unclear] does a pretty good job but even their sin is not really [unclear] and the judgment and so forth back in my day they preached these three points of God and there was a big conviction of the Holy Spirit bringing people in and if we want to see people come to Jesus we got to get the message out and let the Holy Ghost do his job can he save the backslider is it easy or hard it’s easy why do we make it hard can he save the homosexual yes and he promised that his salvation would be to the ends of the earth but the message has got to go out and then the Holy Spirit will come and speak to these people.
▶ 43:25 Amen. Alleluia. so as the musicians come evildoers unfaithful and the faithful must come to Jesus by way of the Holy Spirit convicting of sin right and judgment to come. Will we allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us convict us and turn us to Jesus and [unclear] will we start the action in motion that is the question the Holy Spirit’s asking us.

About this transcript
This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: Transcript begins at 0:01. Points to check: Pentecost tongues as “15 different languages”; 80,000 alcohol deaths and “hundreds” of marijuana deaths a year; “half of America has or has had a venereal disease”; Catholics filled with the Spirit in 1968; minister housing allowance case “going to the supreme”; homosexual activists’ “millions of dollars in propaganda” in the South. Sensitive content kept as spoken: churches calling adultery, drunkenness, drugs and homosexual acts okay are hypocrites; people condemned for evil deeds, not for unbelief; believing Jews and Judas went to hell, “a believer can go to hell”; Pentecostals of the 50s–60s “thought they were the elect people”, “phony stuff”; “America hates Jesus”; vision of heaven, hell and the judgment while watching TV.
