The Holy Spirit River in Revelation 10/06/2019: full transcript and answers

▶ 0:00 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God God is in the midst of the city of God the city of God will never be moved and I will help her quickly 700 years before Christ came it also says in Isaiah that God is the only God that can predict things before they happen I tell you of them and then I bring them to pass 700 years before Christ came God predicted this river of God then Jesus came along and he confirmed it in John chapter 7 out of your innermost being your bellies shall flow rivers of life. Speaking of the spirit which was to come and John in the gospel of Revelations is going to confirm it again at 95 ad.

▶ 1:07 95 years later okay and that’s where we’re going to go to pick up the river of God in the book of Revelations so we’re going to see that the Holy Spirit river is in the city of God we’re going to see that the city of God is the lambs bride it’s also the church and the many membered body of Christ that’s what we’re going to see so we go to Revelation 21. It says I saw the new Jerusalem the holy city of God descending out of heaven.

▶ 1:48 Then he goes down to verse 9 and the angel said I’m gonna show you John the bride the lambs wife okay and what did he show him he showed me that great city the holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God that’s what he showed him the heavenly Jerusalem the city of God the bride are all the same thing and it’s descending out of heaven because it’s descending out of heaven you may read into it and it’s okay if you do that this is after the new heaven the new earth and everything is done and we come down out of heaven but I want to submit to you some things and the new heaven and the new earth already happened in John Revelations 20 the judgment and all the bodies were resurrected and they were judged they were sentenced to eternal life or they were sentenced to eternal damnation that’s already been done okay.

▶ 3:05 They haven’t new heaven and new earth with no see it’s already happened so why. Would the church be coming down out of heaven. Before we get there I want to confirm that I have be told you to Paul said to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ so Paul confirms that the church the believers the followers of Christ are the bride of Christ amen. The Bible refers to us as the bride of Christ now getting back to Revelations 21:5 he said. During the time he’s talking about. The heavenly Jerusalem coming down from heaven okay he says I make all things new he did not say I make all new things.

▶ 4:08 He said I make all things new a new heaven and a new earth he took the old earth and the old heaven and made it what new he didn’t make a new earth he made the old earth new is that an amen but is he really interested in that or is he interested in making you new if any man be in Christ he is a new creature old things are passed away behold all things become new he’s interested in you. Hallelujah and why would you need to be made new if you’re already in the new heaven and new earth and the new world are you there I’m trying to show you why this heavenly Jerusalem is not just after everything is done its present all right now I will give unto him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely now if we’re over there in the new heaven and new earth and and enjoying that new world why would we even be thirsty at all.

He’s talking about what the present church the present time let’s continue and this water of life is freely does he give it freely today this water of life of everlasting life he that overcomes shall inherit all things what do we have to overcome in heaven. When God spoke to the seven churches and showed them their flaws he said he that overcometh the sexual immorality adultery the lukewarmness losing their first love he that overcomes these things will inherit.

Are you with me you stan I’m trying to show you that this also applies to the present time okay. And how many of you want to hear it all thing yeah you want to inherit eternal life you want to inherit the baptism of the Holy Ghost you want to inherit wisdom and knowledge all these things that are promised to us how many one inherit them absolutely now up there we already we got it alright. And I will be his God and he shall be my son now where have you heard that statement before in the new covenant I.

▶ 7:17 Will write my word in their minds and in their hearts I will be unto them a God and they shall be my people that’s the new covenant and all shall know me from the least to the greatest and their sins and iniquities I will be merciful to and remember no more that’s the present time in it that’s the new covenant why do we need the new covenant in the next world we don’t we’ve attained our inheritance we’ve overcome so he’s speaking to the church now can you say amen to that you know if you want to use it for the end time you could go right ahead but he’s also speaking to it now and now’s when we need it. We’re gonna see the description of the bride the city of God as a source of eternal life.

▶ 8:11 This is what John’s going to bring out the source of what eternal life we get so wrapped up in so many doctrines we forget that God come to give us eternal life. Is the source of the river of the spirit it’s the source of God in Jesus it’s the source for the rescue and healing of the nation’s the Gentiles the unbelievers. Now if you are an unbeliever and it’s all over and you’re in the lake of fire. There’s no healing for you so this city. Promised descending down from heaven is the church now and it’s.

▶ 9:01 Weapons that it has to change the world the world will walk in its light so we’re not only talking about forgiveness of sin being safe from sin by faith and grace and whatever we’re talking about something way higher than that and that is eternal life say that eternal life how many want to live forever yeah if you don’t you you wouldn’t you wouldn’t be following Christ the thing that got you into the kingdom and into this church world was the promise of eternal life after you die you’re going to live on. Then we forget that we forget that message so going to Revelations 22 one I John saw a pure river water of life hears that Holy Spirit John is confirming that there is a pure river water of life clear as crystal you know by science that crystal has no impurities in it other glasses have imperia you can see through them but crystal has no impurities okay no distortion.

▶ 10:18 Are you there and that’s what the Holy Spirit river is it’s a pure river no impurities in it so when it comes into you it’s going to wash out you put. You keep putting clear water into dirty water and what happens. Eventually the dirty water is gone and you have pure water and that’s what the Holy Spirit does we have flaws and problems in our life but when we meet with the Holy Spirit and he moves in us he keeps what washing out the impurities hallelujah and we become pure as crystal now the tree of life is on both sides of the river and it froot monthly you don’t have to wait for next year. You can eat of the fruit of God.

▶ 11:15 Daily all right 12 different fruit produced once a year its leaf just one leaf will bring healing to the nations. That’s a powerful statement. Not even the fruit of the tree of life it’s the leaf one leaf will heal the Gentiles the unbelievers is it important for us to get the word of God out absolutely. One scripture can change a person’s life.

▶ 11:54 21:22 I saw no temple in it the Lord God almighty and the lamb are the temple of it a temple is where God lives in the Old Testament in the New Testament the Bible says he doesn’t live in buildings made with hands but living stones built up a spiritual house he lives in us we may have a barn where we mean you may have crystal cathedral where they meet down in garden grove or somewhere but God doesn’t dwell in what natural buildings he dwells in you and we see this confirmed in the scriptures 1st Corinthians 3:16 you are the temple of God and the spirit of God dwells in you the reason we don’t need a temple is because God we are the temple now as people we need a place to keep the rain out in the sun off and air-conditioning so we are comfortable in America in third world countries they don’t have air condition they just set their fanning and but.

▶ 13:02 That building has nothing to do with the presence of God the people that are there those same people could go out into the parking lot and start worshiping and praying and the presence of God would be there in that right the presence and his dwelling place is his people and in each one of us we have God and Jesus living in us it says in John 14:23 if any person loves me he’ll keep my word and my father and I will make our abode with him not only can we have God but we can have Jesus living in us and when we get that river of the Holy Ghost we got all three of the identities of God in our body. Now that should make you pretty feeling pretty strong feeling pretty good amen.

The spirit of him that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you and quickened you it gives you life the spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and he can bring you out of your deadness of sin out of your deadness of thinking he will give you life and then that what we want life. Eternal. So the Bible tells us how to inherit eternal life. In Luke chapter 10 a guy came to Jesus verse 25 and says what do I do to have everlasting life Jesus says what does the scripture say the guy said well love God with all your heart soul mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself Jesus says you’re a correct do this and you will have eternal life.

▶ 14:54 Amen and what sums up the whole Bible everybody says the Bible’s complicated they can’t understand it what two doctrines want two commandments what two laws sum up the whole Bible love God and love your neighbor as yourself and the Bible’s definition of love is do no harm to your neighbor or yourself. Amen. It’s that simple now. Even atheists my atheist brother. Understood you can’t go around hurting people. So he believed what the Bible said. Without knowing it he just rejected God and Jesus and this resurrection and all this.

So another guy comes along and Luke 10:25 and he says master what must hide what good thing should I do to internat inherit eternal life and Jesus said keep the commandments keep the law and he said which laws what law and Jesus said honor your mother and your father is there a lack of honoring mothers and fathers in America today big time they nurtured us take care of us fed us clothes us and everything else and then we get an adult and we just turned them on and I’m talking about just normal everyday parents a man that want their kids to be moral kids and so forth and it says to honor them it didn’t say your parent has to do anything to get the honor it’s your job do what honor them.

▶ 17:05 Alleluia we just need to buck up and do it don’t we then he said no adultery no murder no stealing no killing no lying and no covetousness and so. This this is the same as this if we love God and love our neighbor we won’t do these things and that right so both are the same answer don’t do anything to hurt others and you. Have everlasting life that is why in Romans. When the author of Romans was writing about those that never heard of Christ he said they will be judged by their conscience they knew to do right and they did it if they knew to do right and didn’t do it and they hurt other people then they would go to hell because they knew to do right and didn’t do it they never heard of Christ never heard of the gospel.

▶ 18:10 See there’s an avenue that people that never heard of Christ can get eternal life for is that a great big wonderful God. Because I was always asked as a young [unclear] one of these people know her to Christ and the Bible has answers oh. Yeah they can be there in heaven with the rest of us they miss out on the good things of the word of God and the inheritance but they still get what ever lasting life and what’s the whole issue ever lasting life. Hallelujah. John 3:15 they that believe in the son of God Jesus hath possesses everlasting life so when we put our trust in Jesus being born of a virgin.

▶ 19:10 Living without sin doing miracles preaching the gospel laying down his life for the sins of the world picking his life back up again no man could take his life he had to lay it down no one had authority to kill Jesus even that physical body he had to lay it down he had to submit to it amen and he submitted to it because of his great love for us all that pain that that physical body took he took it for us it’s powerful and he was God in the flesh but folks he was total flesh he felt every bit of that pain but he took it for you and I to have everlasting life and then he ascended back and he rose from the dead he ascended back into heaven and he’s coming again if your trust is in Jesus Christ and that understanding from virgin birth to coming back again you had ever lasting life so how many of you have everlasting life yes hey the whole thing is about living forever.

▶ 20:23 Then in 1 John 5:13 this same apostle wrote and said I wrote this epistle this epistle was written so you know. Beyond a shadow of a doubt you know you have what. Everlasting life not safe from sin. Not eternal security not anything but what ever lasting life he said that at the end of his gospel also. These things were written that you might believe and that believing you might have life. Amen. So the whole thing is about living forever with him in heaven and all through this epistle he’s talking about believing in Christ for everlasting life and obeying his word for everlasting life if any man hates his brother.

▶ 21:26 Or any man as a murderer he does not have eternal life abiding in him so he hits both sides you believe and you obey. The laws. That asked you not to hurt other people is that a good amen all right I. Am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly okay. Christ came into the world to save sinners of who I am chief we use that all the time but I’ve rarely hear this one ah Christ is calm that we might have what life everlasting life in this world and in the world to come he came that you might have life amen and so all these doctrines are once saved always saved internal security and predestination.

▶ 22:26 And all this stuff they’re just all a distraction from the real purpose of Christ’s coming and that was to give everyone that would believe and follow common sense of moral standards of not doing anything to hurt others they would live forever with him amen and that’s powerful. And when we teach other thing Moses tabernacled and you know holiness and righteousness and whatever we can never leave this basic doctrine that Jesus came that you would have life ever lasting life by two things believing his death burled and resurrection and he’s coming again and keeping the laws that don’t hurt others I.

▶ 23:19 Mean you know not tithing is not going to strip you of eternal life that is a spiritual law you grow and you rebuke the devourer but it never says if you don’t do it you lose your eternal life it’s things that I do to hurt people that causes me when I steal from someone does that hurt them yes if I hate people which the New Testament says is murder and I treat them wrong and I talk about them wrong do I lose my eternal life absolutely I hurt someone I. Don’t have that abundant life anymore. If I mistreat my parents who may have some flaws in them is that acceptable for eternal life no there are many ways you can honor your parents without approving other mistakes in that right how are they.

▶ 24:30 The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord it’s free you believe, you obey you automatically get eternal life you’re gonna live forever and you’re gonna live forever in heaven you don’t have to be a preacher you don’t have to win souls you don’t have to do anything like that the eternal life is a gift but I guarantee you now that spirit of eternal life will move you to keep spiritual laws so you grow and you are effective to others in this world as we see as we come up on this to whom shall we go everybody left Jesus and Jesus turned to his disciple says you’re gonna leave me too and they said where else are we gonna go you have the words of what eternal life not the wages of sin is death.

▶ 25:27 Not save sinners you have the words of what eternal life don’t forget the whole reason the apostles followed Christ was he had the words of eternal life and the focus is on the word words say words that’s the gospel that’s the message we’ve got to preach the message of eternal life so people can what possess eternal life amen no one else the Pharisees the Sadducees the priests they didn’t have the message of eternal life they had the message of follow me follow us are you there. But Jesus had the message of eternal life and eternal life’s in him.

▶ 26:20 This is eternal life that you may know the only true God and Jesus Christ to whom he has sent eternal life is just not living forever but eternal life is having the knowledge of Jesus and God and the personal relationship this word know is not just knowledge it used also as an intimate relationship Joseph knew his wife mary and conceived other children an intimate relationship that produces fruit and we not only understand the godhead and Jesus Christ and their purposes but we have an intimate relationship that what produces fruit in us. Are you guys out there that is powerful. Now.

▶ 27:17 The Bible also says I give them eternal life and no man can pluck them out of my hand you can decide to follow those you can decide to leave but there is no man with any doctrine any power that can take eternal life from you that’s why when the early Christians would not take the mark of the beast I don’t I was talking to some people about the mark of the beast and I told him are you aware that the Romans. Enslaved millions of people they conquered and put a mark in their forehead I. Said are you aware of that what I’m trying to tell you is the mark of the beast is just coming under the control of a of a government authority.

▶ 28:10 Are you there that forbid you to serve the living God and that’s what the roman empire did and these Christians would not become a slave of their religion and their ways they would not receive the mark they’d rather die than deny Christ. They said I never heard of that I said well you need to because there’s a slanted doctrine out there and anyone that wants to control your life and take you from serving your Christ the way the Bible says to you got to reject it you don’t want to become a slave of that mark or no mark is that an amen amen. So the early church became a very glorious church a powerful church.

▶ 29:12 But the early church as you know had babies in it they had lukewarm people they had people that wanted to follow the law they had a mixture like Israel came out of Egypt there was a mixed multitude remember that there’s people that have a faith in Christ but they want to do other things they have other beliefs and the early church had these people these people committing incest adultery worshipping idols eating meat sucker at the idols and all kinds of things going on but the leadership and the prominent people of the church were powerful it was a certain disciple that brought Paul. Into the kingdom a certain oh apostle just a member of the church was so powerful that he prayed and John Paul’s eyes were open and Paul understood things and Paul got baptized in water and Paul got baptized in the Holy Ghost from a layman a certain man that had no authority no name no fame or anything amen that glorious member of God’s glorious church.

▶ 30:24 Alleluia and yes you can look at the babies in the church and all that and say oh what a mess the church is in but you look at the core people and I talked to them on the internet every week there are tens of thousands hundreds of thousands of people in every denomination that stand for not hurting other people they may have other different doctrines but they believe in moral standards can I hear an amen yes give God a clap offering he is moving in his chair. Just because some ministers go wrong and some members go wrong there is a powerful group of people that stand they don’t approve they stand for moral standards.

▶ 31:13 And folks they turn the world upside down the Bible says they turn the known world at that time upside down for Jesus Christ can we do it even though we got flaws in the church and we may have some flaws in her life can God use a flawed life that’s committed to eternal life amen that message of eternal life is what the early church offered the world and the world accepted it they rejected it some of them but many of them accepted it and this is what this church has got to understand we need people to hear the message of eternal life and keep hearing it. Until they either reject it or accept it now. In 2123 the glory of God and the lamb is the light of the church the bride did that an amen Jesus said I am the light of the world and then our he was going to die he turned and said what you are the light of the world see from the Jesus in us we become a light to the world and how do we become a light.

▶ 32:33 By good works. You are the light of the world. Good works bring glory under your father see not hurting people brings glory and honor under your father I may want to be a light to the world yes the world the world is the unbelievers folks we need to be a light to them but we still need that message remember the apostle says you have the words of life just and living for Christ is not enough you got to share that scripture could that be an amen yeah then give very much a response. We need to share that word the nation’s saved shall walk in the light of it. So that leaf that heals the nation’s.

▶ 33:30 Save the nations the nations are going to walk in the light that the church walks in and that is the moral standards of Jesus Christ is that an amen then he says that gates are always open 24/7. Every year every month the gates of eternal life are open people can come and drink of that water of life eat of that tree of life and be healed by the leaves of the tree of life anytime they choose to enter. Hallelujah. We’re looking for some big minister something to do all this stuff and God is saying he’s in you all you got to do is get the leaf and heal yourself if you need healing if you need fruit eat of the fruit of the tree that’s in you.

▶ 34:34 If you need a drink of life drink of the Holy Spirit that’s in you. Alleluia. Nothing unholy abominable or lie will enter. The bride the city of God the church the body of Christ if you do enter that river is going to cleanse you it’s going to wash away that abomination that unclean thing that unholy thing and remove those lies. And if you don’t want to give it up you will eventually leave the church.

▶ 35:28 You eventually leave God Jesus the river of life and the tree of life for your own religion. Are you there. Nobody can take eternal life from anyone you have to walk away from the offer I love that and I’ve been telling people for. 56 years I. Never answered a salvation call after I got saved I never felt guilty I never felt condemned that I was going to not go to heaven. Never. So I don’t understand people that if you preach about sin they feel guilty and come under condemnation.

▶ 36:24 There is no condemnation to those and so I never come into [unclear] I always knew I was going to heaven why I got born again I got eternal life and I always knew he was going to finish the good work it began in me now did I need to straighten some things out of my life absolutely did I need to change some doctrines wow did I need to change some doctrine but I never once felt that I would never go to heaven. No guilt no condemnation you understand what I’m saying when you really get born again and you get that spirit of life. There is no guilt and condemnation there is correction. Okay but you’re going to heaven that’s all there’s that so I think people that get under guilt and condemnation from the preaching of the sin how many know we got a preach sent for the sinner to know what they’re doing wrong yeah if they’re a Christian and they get under conduct there’s something else underlying lis wrong in their born-again.

▶ 37:38 Experience because no man can take you away from eternal life and no message can take you away from eternal life it will drive you into more eternal life it would drive you into that crystal-clear holy water that washes away sin in that right it’ll draw you to Jesus it will draw you to the father it will draw your to the tree of life it’s not going to condemn you. How many want that kind of relationship with God yes. How many have known me for quite a long time and nothing by God’s eternal life the spirit living in me distracted me from serving God is that true you knew me so I can tell you by experience and I can tell you about the word this river of life the Holy Ghost works and he always brings you to God and Jesus and his word amen.

▶ 38:45 Help me know the Bible says blessed are they that love thy law and nothing shall offend them why are people getting offended. They don’t love God’s word they don’t read it they don’t study it they don’t apply it so somebody says something they don’t like they give up offended. Do you love God’s word. Jesus is the living word okay those in the lamb’s book of life enter. The church enter the city enter the kingdom of God the lamb’s book of life is a lamb’s book of eternal life and how do we get it by believing in Christ that we get our names written and commit to not hurting people those two things it’s it’s no more complicated than that.
