From the sermonThe Gospel as a Witness · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

In this session on present truths Pastor David G. Kincer teaches that the gospel of the kingdom and of repentance and remission of sins will be preached to all nations as a witness, confirmed by signs and wonders. He walks through the signs that follow believers, the signs of an apostle and the results in Acts, and says a last-days visitation greater than the early church is coming, with the ministries of apostle and prophet restored.

What message will usher in the end time? (Matthew 24:14; Luke 24:47)

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: He says the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to all nations “as a witness,” and Jesus said repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations. He says that message, not prosperity, the second coming, positive thinking, personal prophecy or poverty, is what will usher in the end time.

▶ 0:00 We thank you again for joining us and another session of present truths out of 2 Peter 1:12. Remember in Ecclesiastes 3 it says that God has a purpose under the heaven and he does it in times and seasons and 1 Chronicles 12:38 it said the children of issachar had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do and we’re trusting that you who through these sessions will get understanding of the times to know what God’s people should do in Matthew 24:14 this present truth of the gospel of the kingdom shall be in that word shall means nothing can prevent it from happening shall be preached to all nations emphasis on all nations they we didn’t know all nations when this was spoken all nations weren’t revealed till after the 1500 ad but not only that the gospel going to be preached as a witness then shall the end come not just preach but as a witness and remember in Luke 24:47 Jesus said repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations so the message that’s going to usher in the end time is the gospel of the kingdom and the gospel of repentance and remission of sins not

How did the apostles turn the world upside down, and is baptism necessary? (Acts 17:6; Mark 16:15-16)

▶ Watch this part (1:31)

Short answer: He says Jesus gave them orders to go into all the world and preach the gospel of the kingdom and repentance, and they followed them. He says the argument that you don’t have to be baptized because Mark 16:16 doesn’t repeat it is “a baby Christian argument,” since unbelievers won’t be baptized anyway, and “repenting and being baptized is imperative in the Bible for salvation.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:31 prosperity not the second coming not possibility and positive thinking not personal prophecy not poverty none of these things are going to usher in that we get distracted with. Then the gospel of the kingdom and repentance and remission of sins Acts 17:6 these that have turned the world upside down have come here also how did these apostles turn the world upside down now we know it was their local world the local human beings because.

▶ 2:05 Again they didn’t know there were other people out there on the earth well first Jesus gives them orders. The king of the kingdom of God he gives them some orders to follow and they followed them and that order was in Mark 16:15 go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature that gospel of the kingdom and repentance from confess sins kingdom and repentance from confess sins he that believes in his baptized shall be saved and he that believes not shall be damned and I just want to take a side issue here there’s a lot of people that say you don’t have to be baptized to be saved and they used this scripture because he didn’t repeat be baptized he just repeated belief but unbelievers aren’t going to be baptized because they don’t believe so it’s a foolish [unclear] that’s a baby Christian argument and unbelievers aren’t going to go to the next step unbelievers they’re not going to go to the next step and get water [unclear] because they don’t even believe in Christ don’t believe in any other so you didn’t have to repeat water baptism repenting and being baptized is imperative in the Bible for salvation the supernatural witnesses of believers the supernatural proof.

What signs follow those who believe? (Mark 16:17-18)

▶ Watch this part (3:27)

Short answer: He says these signs follow believers: they cast out devils and speak with new languages, as on the day of Pentecost and at Azusa Street, where people heard their own earthly languages. He says Paul did not die when a viper bit him on the island, though he did not go picking up snakes; it just happened.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:27 That followed these guys and this is what he says these signs shall follow them that believe now this is just believers how many of you out there are believers okay these signs will follow you in my name they shall cast out devils no problem they shall speak with new languages a lot of us don’t even believe in speaking in languages in acts chapter 2 on the day of Pentecost they spoke in 15 different languages and the people that heard him say how can these people be speaking in our language the mighty works of God and also at azusa street in 1906 the immigrants from portugal and from spain and from germany and so forth heard these people speaking in their languages and that outpouring of the Holy Spirit not just a heavenly tongue but an earthly language is it so that’s already been restored and they shall take up serpents well Paul did this on the island the barbaric island when he picked up some sticks and a viper came out and bit him and the barbarians the natives thought he’s going to die, he because he’s a bad guy and then he didn’t die then they said man this is a God.

And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”

However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.

Should Christians pick up snakes or drink deadly things to test God?

▶ Watch this part (4:45)

Short answer: He says no: “you don’t test God and pick up snakes and you don’t test God and drink cyanide.” He tells of drinking water with mosquito larvae on a mission trip without getting sick, and says the promise is that if it accidentally happens God can protect you, and believers will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:45 You don’t go picking up snakes it just happened all right and if they drink any deadly thing I was in salvador and I asked for a glass of water where they went over to the ox trough dip the glass in and brought my glass of water there was green now I’m not going to drink that because I’m no better but my interpreter brother [unclear] he drank it because the Bible says eat what’s put before you I said you’re insane he almost died on me down there and then we were at another place in salvador where they gave us water and it was nice and clear and I drank some of it and then I noticed it was moving and I tell my interpreter don’t drink at this this water is alive it had mosquito larvae in it but I didn’t get sick from it and that is an example if it accidentally happens God can protect you you understand but you don’t test God and pick up snakes and you don’t test God and drink cyanide poisoning and even in africa when I was in africa the locals there when they went into a different region in africa they would get sick from the water because it was a different water and so God is seeing here when these natural things happen I’ll help you out and they will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover now this is promised to believers but then we have the apostolic witness Matthew

What are the signs of an apostle? (Matthew 10:1; 2 Corinthians 12:12)

▶ Watch this part (6:17)

Short answer: He says Jesus gave the twelve power over evil spirits and sickness before they were filled with the Holy Ghost, so “God can give you power period.” He says the signs of an apostle are patience, signs, wonders and mighty deeds; we are all messengers and sent to preach, but “if you don’t have this you just have a title.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:17 10 1 he gave his twelve apostles power to cast out evil spirits and they weren’t filled with the Holy Ghost yet so don’t give me this stuff that you got to be filled with the Holy Ghost to do great things God can give you power period and. They could cast out devils and they could heal all manner of sickness and diseases and he gave [unclear] to preach the gospel. Second chronicles I mean Corinthians 12:12 the signs of an apostle were worked among you see Paul is telling you what the indications of an apostle is what the miraculous indication is they have patience they have signs wonders and mighty deeds that’s what an apostle has an ambassador of God and if you don’t have this you just have a title you can’t go but the definition of apostle which is a messenger or one sent, and we’re all messengers and we’re all sent he told us all to go and preach the gospel but the apostle is different and you can tell an apostle.

What does it mean that the gospel is preached as a witness? (Hebrews 2:3-4)

▶ Watch this part (7:27)

Short answer: He says God bore witness with the apostles with signs, wonders, miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost, and “this is what you call the gospel being preached as a witness.” God supernaturally backs up His word and shows He can perform things that humans cannot perform.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:27 By the signs and wonders Hebrews 2:3 through 4 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by them the apostles that heard him God also bearing witness with the apostles both with signs wonders different miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost according to his own will the apostles had authority to lay hands on people and they receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost as well as miracles and signs a jail doors open angels coming getting out of jail and [unclear] from being stoned and all the rest the apostles had that and this is what you call the gospel being preached as a witness God supernaturally backs up his word and shows that not only the word is supernatural but God can perform things that humans cannot perform it’s called a miracle.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Hebrews 2:3-4 (NKJV)

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

How did the Lord confirm the word with signs, and what about the magicians of Egypt? (Mark 16:20)

▶ Watch this part (8:27)

Short answer: He says the apostles preached everywhere with the Lord working with them, confirming the word with signs following, as Moses spoke with signs in Egypt. He says the magicians did lying wonders and could only do what God allowed: “don’t be fooled by the occult area they’re still under control of God.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 8:27 Now the results in Mark 16:20 they the apostles went forth and preached everywhere and the Lord working with them now the word them is not in the text they put it there for your understanding it could easily have put in the word word see they went and preached everywhere in the Lord working with the word, confirming the word with signs following and remember Moses spoke with signs as a witness down there in Egypt the magicians as Paul said do lying wonders not real wonders not real signs not real miracle you see they weren’t turning rods into snakes and water into blood and all that till Moses came down then God allowed them to do some things but they didn’t need water to blood they need blood back to water they need the frogs to go back into the river you see they need [unclear] snake they need a mongoose not another snake [unclear] a mongoose to kill Moses his snake but see they couldn’t do anything God just showed up and allowed them to do certain things don’t be fooled by the occult area they’re still under control of God all right and beyond after the lice came they couldn’t do anymore and they got the boils and they suffered the firstborn died, the magicians were worthless supernatural

▶ Watch this part (9:59)

Short answer: He says many wonders and signs were done by the apostles and the Lord added to the church daily, and the sick and those vexed with unclean spirits were healed, “everyone not two percent not ten percent.” He says the apostles spoke boldly and the Lord granted signs and wonders by their hands.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 9:59 doers lying wonders Acts 2:43 and 47 many wonders and signs were done by the apostles and the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved when this gospel is going out with power and authority like John the baptist even though he didn’t do any miracles the word was a rhema word a living word and it brought people [unclear] salvation. So is this ministry of an apostle when they preach that gospel of repentance in the kingdom of God confess sins and they do signs and wonders people will come to Christ and that’s the whole point of it. More results Acts 5 verse 12.

▶ 10:52 By the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders among the people multitudes of [unclear] sick folks and them that were vexed with the unclean spirits troubled by unclean spirit not possessed just troubled they were healed everyone everyone not two percent not ten percent not ninety percent everyone that came to these apostles for a encounter with God were met with that encounter so much so the Peter shadow would heal people and multitudes the Bible says was added to the Lord again in Acts 14:3 the apostle spoke boldly in the Lord who gave testimony to the word of his grace granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands not his.

Can believers who are not apostles do great wonders? (Acts 6:7-8)

▶ Watch this part (11:44)

Who is being persecuted today for preaching repentance and the kingdom of God? (Romans 14:17)

▶ Watch this part (17:24)

Short answer: He asks who today is being slain, persecuted and beaten for preaching repentance, confession of sins and the kingdom of God, and answers “nobody,” because the church has moved away from that teaching. He says the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost and is in power, and “people are scared to death of the Holy Ghost.”

Will Jesus restore apostles and prophets before He returns? (Acts 3:21)

▶ Watch this part (19:15)

Short answer: He says Jesus will be retained in heaven until the times of restoration of all things, and he believes Jesus will not return until all things are restored, including the ministry of the apostle and the prophet. He says believers can still lay hands on the sick, speak in languages and cast out demons.

▶ 19:15 So. Jesus said or the Bible says he will be retained in the heavens until the times of restoration of all things okay I submit to you that. Jesus will not return till all things are restored and I submit to you that Jesus has a world-shaking. Future event that will distinct the followers of Christ from the humanists liberal same-sex communist evolutionists free thinkers atheist agnostic religionist values and their philosophies and. Many of these opponents will join Jesus through the preaching of the gospel of repentance from confession of sins and the gospel of the kingdom with signs and wonders and mighty deeds follow them because Jesus is going to restore the ministry of the apostle.

▶ 20:24 Hallelujah. Yes and he’s going to restore the prophet hasn’t been restored yet we correctly predict future events and they happen. Hallelujah we’ve got something great to look forward to but remember believers can still lay hands on the sick and they recover we can still speak in languages we can still. What was the other one anyway we can do these things all right cast out demons all right I’ve cast out a few demons and now you cast them out when you encounter them most of the demons I encountered weren’t demons at all just people thinking they had one and that’s the hardest thing you got to teach them through the Bible that they’re just wrong. So again I present to you that Bible morality may be unpopular but folks the results are indisputable and they are supernatural.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added by hand, and obvious caption errors were corrected; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor note: the captions give the Issachar reference as “1 Chronicles 12:38”; the verse about the children of Issachar is 1 Chronicles 12:32 (shown below). He corrects himself on “Haggai 2:17, I mean 2:7” and “Second Chronicles, I mean Corinthians 12:12.” His naming of well-known preachers and church leaders, his statements about over a million Jews slaughtered in AD 70, and his history of Azusa Street (1906) and of all nations being discovered after 1500 AD are his own and are not verified here.
