The Father’s Business Objective 04/07/2019: full transcript and answers

▶ 0:00 Our subject is why Jesus is important to all mankind not just Christians not just Americans but to every island every nation every ethnic group why is this man the son of God this Christ so important to all of mankind we found last week and Hebrews 1 verses 1 and 2 that God in various times and in different methods spoke in times past by the prophets ok.

▶ 0:34 But in these last days plural more than one last day he spoken to us by his son Jesus the prophets before spoke pointing to Jesus and what God was going to do the only thing we can prophesy now is what Jesus fulfilled what Jesus spoke and what Jesus promised no minister has a right to go beyond Jesus Christ and that’s why it is important that all mankind hear this message God is talking through his son today could that be an amen all right now we saw Jesus’s first spoken objective I must be about at 12 years old he said this I must be about my father’s business okay he must be about the father’s business a business.

▶ 1:38 Gets a return on their investment they get a return on their labor that’s why they’re in the business. You don’t go to work for free you go to work to get a return and Jesus is saying my father has a business and he’s got a return that he wants to get from his investment and that return is that all sinners are to be saved you say. All sinners. The second time Jesus spoke this is the first time at 12 18 years later we have silence now he was talking just no recorded in the scripture recording of it in the scriptures at 30 years old his second.

▶ 2:31 Incident where he spoke the father’s business and the objective of it he said to John the baptist it’s proper for us to fulfill all righteousness not just me John but me and you together me and the church together me and you together. What good is he fulfilling all righteousness he’s right just to begin with but when he has the power to get you to do right then he’s fulfilling all righteousness and so he was water baptized John didn’t want to water baptized him because John says you should be baptizing me because Jesus had no sin and baptism is for the art of the plan for the remission of sin and Jesus said no we got to fulfill all righteousness so water baptism is part of God’s plan of righteousness amen the third one well he.

▶ 3:35 The Bible sums up what righteousness is he that does righteous is righteous as Christ is righteous our standard of righteousness is measured to Christ’s righteousness. Not our minister not our opinions we measure our righteousness by his righteousness and when we do that and we act the way Christ told us to act then we are righteous we’re not righteous because we believe we’re righteous we’re righteous because we are righteous and that we make mistakes and though we may fail we know how to use the righteous principle of admitting we’re wrong repenting from it and getting back up and following again amen if we’re repenting and we’re admitting more wrong we’re in the plan of righteousness.

▶ 4:28 Okay so the third time this is what today’s message is about God’s business and God’s goal and fulfilling all righteousness is in the same verse the same place. Christ was filled with the Holy Spirit a dove came down Christ saw something Christ heard a voice from heaven this is my beloved son hear ye him see he’s speaking through Christ so in Christ being baptized he actually saw something and he actually heard something and he was empowered by the Holy Ghost he had the word back here at 12 but he didn’t have the Holy Ghost till God was ready to send him out to minister.

In an investment we want to get a return on investments in the natural world we want to protect our investment by taking out insurance in case something catastrophic happens we don’t want to lose our business and the return on investment from some catastrophic thing happening so we protect our business and we do everything to protect it but insurance also protects it and we want a guarantee on our return so we have to do the homework to know that if I put my money into this thing it’s going to give me a return okay whether it’s I tell my kids and I tell the students in the school a good return on your investment if you go to college and you learn a career you go with a cut vocational school and learn a career if you can get.

▶ 6:31 Your first job a return and your paycheck equal to what you put in your education that’s what the business world calls a good investment and that’s a hundred percent return are you there so God who invented natural business also runs a spiritual business he. Wants you and he wants. To protect you so that you stay his return become his return and you are given everything God promised 100%. Amen. Some bro 450 some 25 and some 100. Return he wants the 100 return so going back to last week’s statement God created humans with sensual desires we have these five senses in us that our body can feel and we can violate them and abuse them and the Bible cause it’s in it cause it lust and so forth he made us that way so it’s only right that he can restore us when we mess up.

▶ 7:49 Because he didn’t have a plan b God only had a plan a at the beginning that’s why the Bible says that Christ died before the foundation of the world God’s first plan was to bring you back when you messed up. He hadn’t created mankind yet. So. And he wants to protect his investment so he empowers and equips humans to control those desires and live right does that make sense so. What did he do now remember God created Satan did God create all things yeah you can’t refute that so God created Satan he was a liar the Bible says from the beginning he sinned from the beginning he was an accuser a tempter a tester from the beginning and he was a destroyer from a begin he is the destroying angel that came through Egypt to kill those that one weren’t under the blood he was the destroying angel that was him are you there.

▶ 9:06 Hello yeah you know whether you have these fantasy about him being some super angel and fallen and all that and the Bible kind of implies that remember God created that to happen. Now this some of this may have go against your theological understanding of yesterday but we got to come in to what God’s doing today could that be an amen yeah and so Satan who tempts us test assistant accuses us we are protected from him he cannot possess us he cannot control us he can test us to show us what level of Christian growth we are at he has the right to do that and instead of getting down when you see how a lousy Christian you are you just need to understand madness is this is all the growth I got in me I gotta grow.

▶ 10:01 Amen yeah it’s not a time to give up and quit it’s a time to buck up and move on. Because that’s all he can do okay so it’s only right that God gives us power over Satan and power to overcome and resist his temptations his lies his destruction his accusations you know Satan will come along and tell you because you’ve got a problem in your life that you’re not a Christian just give up and quit that’s him he’s the accuser and he has a right to accuse but he doesn’t have any power over you and I’ll show you a little bit why so what did God do to empower and equip his people. Matthew 3:11.

▶ 10:53 Same chapter John said I baptize you with water for remission of sins but Christ shall baptize you not only with water but with the Holy Ghost and fire I. Had a minister come into a church when I was a young Christian and he gave the congregation this question after salvation what’s next and all of us just looked at him like a dove I. Thought that was it you get saved you try to stay stave and you go to heaven and I was embarrassed I hadn’t thought of the question let alone answer it is there anything after salvation. Yes there is and the baptism of Holy Ghost is the next step in God’s plan of righteousness to empower us to equip us and with fire baptized in the Holy Ghost and with fire in John 20:21 as my father has sent me into the world even so sin.

▶ 12:06 I you into the world and then he made this statement receive you the Holy Ghost you see how did God send Jesus into the world what he gave him the word and then at 30 years old he filled him with the Holy Ghost. Then he sent him to the world and he says as my father sent me you need the word so you know what’s going on and then you need the Holy Ghost to go out and be effective in this world. Got it now this is God’s work this is God’s word I don’t care what you heard before this is Jesus talking and we are to hear who Jesus we need to hear what he fulfilled we need to hear what he is saying and we need to hear what he promised and everybody.

▶ 13:03 Else can just keep their mouth shut we are told to listen to Jesus Christ. Is that an amen that’s hard to do because we we we grow up with these things in our head people have told us and it’s difficult sometimes for us to accept what Jesus told us. So. In Luke 24:49 I send the promise of my father so the Holy Ghost baptism is the promise of who God see in Joel chapter 2 I. Send the promise of my father upon you tarry in Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high so the Holy Ghost baptism is a baptism of what power.

▶ 13:57 Supernatural ability. Isn’t that what we need up here to overcome Satan and daily life and his accusations and our senses. You know we want to feel high and take drugs and drink alcohol and feel good but it destroys us. See we want to just have sex with anybody around but sexually transmitted diseases and all that destroy us and and those kind of relationship destroy marriages and sister story homes. When we let our senses get out of control. It brings destruction and so he brought the Holy Ghost to empower us to not only overcome Satan and his temptations in his tests and his accusations but to overcome the senses the way God created our human body so that we stay in the guidelines of how the body is supposed to respond to these things is that any men.

▶ 15:10 So. The promise of my father wow. Here is a very powerful scripture in 2nd Corinthians 1:22 very powerful Christ anointed us the believers he’s talking to believers he anointed us set us apart okay there’s no thing that us pentecostals and charismatic. Think when the anointing comes you become super active or something the anointing is your set apart for a purpose God’s purpose and yes it does feel good when God comes don’t get me wrong when us charismatic and pentecostal shake or shout or did something like that. Relax. When that Holy Ghost comes up on us you know that’s all we mean no to do we may not know the rest of the plan of righteousness.

Secondly he anointed us secondly he said his seal of ownership upon us back in those days a seal was what the king put on any kind of scroll that he was sending to someone so they knew it come from him and only the recipient could open it if it was open before they got there they knew the news was tented and if it didn’t have the kings seal they knew it wasn’t from the king if he was going to give some money to someone like his soldiers the captain er rewards someone he sealed that chest of gold with his seal is it and no one could open that but the recipient that it was sent it and he sealed us.

▶ 17:05 With a seal of ownership he says I. Bought you with a price and I put my seal on you nobody can mess with you without messing with me. Do you get it do you understand in Revelations that the mark of the beast isn’t the only mark in Revelations or in Ezekiel there’s a mark on God’s people in both books and in Revelation he says you tell the destruction angel not to hurt anything in the earth I seal my people that I put a seal upon them so that anything you do can’t hurt them. Wow.

▶ 17:58 Wow. Are you there church. Yes when you accept Christ and he accepts you. Satan and all the kingdom of darkness can’t bother you can’t be possessed my no demons or anything like these people teach he is the authority and Satan cannot overpower Christ’s authority. Amen. He owns you and he’s going to do everything to protect you and to keep you then he says number one anointed number two seal of ownership number three put his spirit in our hearts as they deposit as the first payment of what was coming in.

▶ 18:57 That powerful so the Holy Spirit is what the first down payment on everything else that he promised that was coming so there is something after salvation and I’m sitting there going joe this is Revelation I mean not guys I’m not I’ve been focusing on just trying to stay saved I. Need to find out what’s after salvation how about you he put this spirit in our hearts our mind our will our emotions as a deposit guaranteeing pledging that everything that he promised to come will come he guaranteed his people that he would follow through on every promise after salvation so if we know what those promises are then we can walk inherit them.

▶ 19:55 Are you with me so far all right so. Remember in Philippians 1:6 Paul says I’m confident of this very thing that God will finish the good work that he began in us. So salvation is the beginning and he has got more stuff to give us and complete the good work how many want to be a candidate yeah you should jump those hands up I mean I don’t care what you’ve been taught in days pass this is tremendous promises okay now we’re gonna jump over to the next slide the father’s business the father’s business is him and us fulfilling all righteousness.

▶ 20:51 Him who is righteous fulfilling. Righteousness by making us righteous and inheriting all the things that he said was right we have a right to inherit how many heard the song I have a right to the tree of life you have a right he created you and you have a right to the tree of life but not only the tree of life who is Jesus but to everything else he promised you have those rights that’s the real human rights okay all this was predetermined by the Old Testament law prophets and songs. Okay we’re going to go to Joel 2:28 I will I will pour out my spirit on all flesh says the law. Your sons and your daughter’s shall what prophecy speak by the inspiration of that Holy Spirit.

▶ 21:48 So the parents are prophesying and that sons and the daughters are prophesy. Women can prophesy yes. Most people read those scriptures totally wrong trying to keep women silent in the church they don’t understand that the word woman is the same as wife in the language it’s written in and no wife has the right to assert authority over her husband or belittle her husband in any way the Bible is really against that because Bible tells us the husband is the head of the wife and you should never disrespect authority is that an amen you got to work with authority that God set in. And so women can prophesy they could speak by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

▶ 22:44 Both the parents and the children. Your old men will dream dreams that’s me old man I loved the dream dreams and your young men will see visions that’s you all right also on the servants and handmaidens in those days we’ll I’ll pour out my spirit a servant and a handmaiden was those who had went into debt couldn’t pay off the debt and they would go to someone in the kingdom who would pay off their debt and they would work for him so many years till they got out of debt or they were just poor and they couldn’t make it they would go and work for someone in the kingdom that would give them room and board and so forth until they could get on their feet and go so they were considered the bottom of the ladder and God said I’m gonna go to the bottom of the ladder and I’m gonna pour out my spirit on them and they’re going to prophesy speak by the inspiration of God in that a powerful promise now in theological discussions this is this is argued over so much I just can’t believe the arguments over this verse no stupidest thing I ever heard of why not just say God give us this and learn when you get it instead of trying to analyze it and pick it apart before you even understand what’s going on could that be an amen so.

▶ 24:10 We go to Acts 1:4 through 8 here’s Jesus he died on the cross he rose from the grave he’s talking to his apostles and he said wait for the promise of the father promise I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh they wait for the promise of the father you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days from now. Accident was 10 days we know how many days out of the way on the tenth day day of Pentecost God came that was his calendar I mean oh God has a calendar he’s got a calendar for your life. And you try to move him up out of his calendar you just find the dead horse. You shall receive power here it is again power supernatural ability.

▶ 25:11 Supernatural beyond human ability you’re gonna receive power why because you’ve got to overcome the sensual body and you’ve got to overcome the kingdom of darkness so I’m empowering it. To say no to the senses and say no to the kingdom of darkness. Don’t that sound like a good plan it’s all after the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses my evidence my proof a witness is a proof of the crime that was brought to court of what actually happened and he says you’re going to be my proof. Jerusalem judea and the uttermost parts of the world you’re going to be my proof. Wow ham you know that’s a pretty good guarantee.

▶ 26:07 That’s a pretty good insurance policy and I told you many times the baptism Holy Ghost revolutionized my life back in my Christian days I got saved one week I got baptized in water the next week I got baptized in the Holy Ghost the third week okay I didn’t mess around if water baptism was next and let’s get it on I’m going wait 10 day and gonna wait six months and I’m not going to wait any time just get it done if we’re gonna do this let’s get it done how many think that’s a great idea and so one person was baptized that night in that church and that was me because I wanted to get baptized I. Mean no it pays the hunger and thirst after God and then I went to God and I said God you know I’m not you know these women are so nicely put together by God you know and I’m a young 20 year old guy in anzhi.

▶ 27:13 And other things that I was doing other things that I just condemned myself for I didn’t know yet that God put a natural attraction in me for the opposite sex I didn’t know that was okay because the holy holy holy people you know. You know if you even think about sex you’re unrighteous well I found out in my first year of serving Christ that attraction to the opposite sex he put there and it’s called normal. You just keep it in the marriage can I hear an amen and don’t you women act all innocent I had a lot of women looking at me. Do you give me that woman superiority thing in this area. So they told me the baptism of Holy Ghost is what I needed so I go to God I go up to the altar and I say God I need something to live for you and they tell me it’s this Holy Ghost and I don’t know what it is but whatever it is give it to me.

▶ 28:25 And sure enough that night he came and filled me with the Holy Spirit that just changed my whole life. Revolutionized my whole life okay and you shall be my witnesses unto the uttermost part of the earth you know immediately I went to soul winning classes I had to go to another church to get soul-winning classes immediately I started going door-to-door witnessing for Christ I learned how to witness I learned the scriptures I learned the questions that people would give you that I didn’t know no no I never heard that one let me write it down next time I see y’all answer and so I quickly build up answers I would go to taco bell and people get all the cars to go order a taco I say hey do you know Jesus. Yeah I became a witness for him are you there now maybe you don’t want the Holy Ghost.

▶ 29:25 But this is how you go when you exercise your faith you grow now. Here it is. Listen to me closely the day of Pentecost fully came God’s promise the day he promised is here there came a sound from heaven. Did Jesus hear a sound from heaven this is my beloved son yet there came a sound they heard the census their ears heard are you with me as a rushing rushing mighty wind and it filled the house where they were sitting number one they were in an upper room and it was in a house and it didn’t just feel one person it permeated the whole house the upper room the lower room the yard the front entryway the whole house.

▶ 30:32 Projected the sound of the wind do you have that you got it you got a picture this now if they can hear it can anybody else hear yes I’m going to show you the can. You see us pentecostals and charismatics have twisted this and made a mess as of four years but nothing like the baptist and the fundamentalist they just flat-out rejected the Holy Ghost baptism in this day an hour we just made a mess on up. Are you with me you say that’s cruel I see I have a right to say that I grew up I got saved and assembly of God church a pentecostal church I experienced these things I don’t know what I’m talking about okay I had to get through this stuff to get to the real stuff know.

▶ 31:28 Where they were what. Sitting not posture ate on the ground not standing they were what sitting. Boy that just goes against pentecostals right quick sit down you got to stand up to get the blessing. Am I right you grew up through pentecostal yeah they were sitting. Very interesting huh weren’t doing anything there was no outward expression of some kind of emotional thing to try to get God to fill me they were sitting I mean that’s the loud the worst thing you can do is set to get someone’s attention. Now then there appeared unto them cloven tongues as of fire and set upon each one of them they not only heard but they saw al.

▶ 32:31 120 men and women had a tongue. Sitting on them a language you know tongue isn’t a magician magical word it means language all right a language set on everyone and they saw it so the sound and the saw did Jesus see the dove and he heard the sound yeah you getting it. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost how many all 120 now you know where there’s women there’s kids I don’t know if you know that even if they’re grandmas they got the grandkids there. My grandkids are gonna be left out of this let me know that that’s women if they got little kids the kids are back all right.

▶ 33:29 But they weren’t counted kids didn’t were never kind when they took account all right I mean no it’s okay for kids to be in a miraculous supernatural service of God and you know it would be very important for them yes to see their parents actually experience something instead of just telling them something so they spoke with other language as a spirit gave them utterance languages is one of the nine gifts one of the nine gifts okay and those nine gifts are given to build the body of Christ to build up the body of Christ to encourage them to strengthen them to inspire them now gifts are not given for you to go go through the healing oh I got to give the tongue no no no no no no they could not speak until the spirit gave what the utterance otherwise they can talk and they couldn’t do miracles until the spirit said to do something are you there so these this is the the first gift that we see initiated here okay.

▶ 34:46 First of nine gifts. Now. They heard they saw they were filled with the Holy Ghost so they they felt you know the touch of the Holy Ghost you feel it and let me tell you it feels good that touch of the Holy Ghost when I got filled with the Holy Ghost it started in my feet. It was like been in the bathtub and you weren’t running warm water and it comes feeling and your body just enjoys every time it moves up oh yeah. Are you with me yeah but when it got to my test I backed off and when I backed off guess what he pulled the plug and the water started going down I.

▶ 35:40 Wanted what I felt so bad that I again began to seek him see I was a bashful guy I was very timid very bashful and if you’re worried about acting like some nut when you get the Holy Ghost because some nuts do I was very bashful he came to me in the manner that I could identify with just slow soft and then when I let it get up to my esophagus I burned it out a language and I can still remember the language I can still remember what I said it didn’t mean anything to me it sounded like baby talk to me but the power the anointing the separating to experience this and use it was so powerful. It didn’t matter what the tongues were saying to me I mean though we can build our self up with languages yes you know I didn’t know this stuff but that was what was happening.

▶ 36:46 Now. What you don’t know and what hasn’t been told us. Is. 3000 people. Okay. Plus 3000 3000 got saved that day 3000 more were probably there and then you got the kids so you easily had 9000 people how do you minister to a crowd like that from an upper room. You ever think of that. You got six to nine thousand people out there who what heard the sound. Now this started at the first hour of the day that was six o’clock by nine o’clock there were thousands of people who also heard and saw the tongue on these apostles.

▶ 37:55 Now how do you minister you got a hundred and twenty people and twelve apostles how do you minister to that kind of crowd you. Got are you getting the picture they had to come out of the room didn’t he in that right they had to come out of the room the people saw the tongues of fire they heard the sound of the wind and they heard them speaking in 15 different languages. 15 different languages the Jews had come for the feast of Pentecost like they did for other feasts there were thousands of Jews there and there were thousands around that upper room that house. And these guys come out and the sound was out there and the tongues were there they saw that and these people were marveling and they heard him speaking their dialect they were from all over the roman empire 15 different language didn’t need interpretation because the people that could spoke that language didn’t it they didn’t need to be told what it said they understood what it says because they spoke in their dialect are you there.

▶ 39:08 Now. They were baptized the same day. How do you baptize 3,000 people in one day it’s nine o’clock and Peter hadn’t finished preaching yet. We don’t know what time of the day he preached. But somewhere probably around nine o’clock three thousand people respond and they baptize them now there’s no water to baptize three thousand people they had some pools around Jerusalem but there’s no way you could get 120 people in that pool that pool was just to go draw water from and take back to your house are you there. Is this helping you understand x2.

▶ 40:02 So contrary to all protestants let me throw this out to you. If they had 120 people baptized in ten each and they have to have they couldn’t go to the river of Jordan it would take over a day to get there and they were baptized the same day so obviously a protestant don’t like this but the only way I can think I can come up with is they went to the pool sent the kids to the pool to bring jugs of water and they. Hit him with the water now that really goes against our grain because we don’t like these. Catholics sprinkling people. Are you with me so far now.

▶ 40:57 One day 3000 souls the next day the Bible says they continue to the apostles doctrine breaking of bread taking communion and in fellowship. How does these people. There’s no place to gather. Three to ten thousand people at one time in Jerusalem the streets are very narrow I mean can you picture the mess at its house people were down the street over the blocks all over the place so these hundred twenty had to go out and mingle with the crowd and speak and so people speaking in their language would gather over here where this guy speaking in their language people over here but gather in the language where people were speaking in their language I seen it in africa I would preach that God would interpret and and a guy over here would interpret to this group and then the guy who heard this guy interpreted to this group interpreted what he said to that group and the guy down there interpreted what he said to that group over there because they had all these dialects and my message went bang bang bang bang bang bang bang all around because the people were filled in the congregation they were outside the congregation and they had all these interpreters of the different dialects of africa.

▶ 42:11 Bringing it to the people and that’s what happened on their Pentecost. Got it so the next day where do these people meet. The Bible says they met daily in the temple. How did they get in the temple. The Jews on the temple. There’s a court in the temple called the court of the Gentiles. It’s big it’s huge there’s a court for women you know and they didn’t want to meet there it’s too small for one thing and the second thing is they didn’t separate men and women in this move of God so they met daily in the court of the Gentiles at Herod’s temple where they had room to minister to thousands of people and then.

▶ 43:17 They broke bread from house to house and they praise God in the temple what you saw this morning us doing praising God that’s exactly what they did in a Jewish temple in the court of a Gentile because there’s no other place that could handle thousands of people. You got it this was a supernatural thing. They saw they heard they felt they spoke. The mouth everything but the nose and that wind could have brought an older and that fire could have brought an older who knows the God ministered to the senses of men empowering them so they could go out and control their senses and live for God wow.

▶ 44:15 Empowerment the Bible says this promise is unto you to your children and to all those that are far off and the only requirement is to repent acts chapter 2 and be baptized for the remission of sin and I don’t care for your protestant a catholic or who care who you are and also. It says that the apostles did great signs and wonders and miracles. That continued.

▶ 44:48 Till in chapter four they had another move of God where the place shook and they were filled with the Holy Ghost so how many of us can be filled with the Holy Spirit all of us and what is the purpose to empower us. That’s the first purpose the second purpose is to use us to build up the church of God not tear it down like I said I was a timid guy I just humbly came to the altar call I love the pentecostal church because they had altar calls and I could go up and learn from God and touch God I lived at the altar calls not to get saved you only get saved once you only get birth one but to grow to grow and to inherit and to be imparted with this and let me tell you if you need healing he can heal you if you need sin delivered he can deliver you and remember they did not lay hands on this day or anything God just did it they were sitting and God.

But I found that if you don’t sit and you make a step at least the stand or to move up go to the front it helps you get out of yourself and focus in on God so this morning whether you want to sit stand or bring your cushion to the front and kneel down that’s up to you but if you want the whole ego.
