Pastor David G. Kincer walks through the birth of Jesus Christ: planned before the foundation of the world, announced to righteous Zechariah and Elizabeth and to Mary, and fulfilled by a virgin birth. John came in the spirit of Elijah to turn people to the Lord. Jesus came to save His people from their sins, and God still answers persistent prayer.

How does Scripture record Jesus’ birth?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: Luke said he had perfect understanding of everything from Jesus’ birth to His ascension.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 The birth of Jesus Christ. Was as follows and remember Luke said he had perfect understanding of everything from Jesus’s birth to the Jesus ascension until most of the apostles were dead and gone he had perfect understanding so we’re gonna take a look at this now how many of you can remember the name of your grandparents. How many of you remember the name of your great-grandparents. Okay we just lost some how many of you can remember the names of your great-great. Great-granddad. Yeah.

▶ 0:49 We lose it after a while we’re in a short-term period but the birth of Jesus isn’t like that here on the screen you will see a silhouette of the angel coming to Mary and as you most of you know angels do not have wings so this angel does not have wings I don’t give a means angels with wings came out of the catholic orthodox church in 400 ad one of their saints that they worship decided that angels needed some kind of symbol to let people know they could transcend different dimensions well I already know from my Bible that angels can transcend different dimensions and now right yeah angels do not have wings and the.

Did early Christians draw angels with wings?

▶ Watch this part (1:42)

Short answer: He says the saints in the catacombs drew angels without wings.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:42 Saints and the catacombs who had to hide to preserve their life from the persecution of the roman empire when they drew angels they drew them without wings it was the orthodox catholic church that brought in the angel wing thing all right and everybody believes that angels literally have wings and they don’t cherubims have we seraphim have wings but not angels are you there they are ministering spirits so anyway we have a silhouette here the angel coming to Mary but the birth of Christ started hundreds of years ago 450 years ago we have the prophet Malachi saying I will send Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the law to turn the father’s to the children and the children to the father’s and the disobedient to the wisdom of the what is right the just and to prepare a people for the Lord that’s Jesus this was four hundred and fifty years before and see we couldn’t even remember our great great great grandparents but Jesus started way back further than that and Elijah.

Did Elijah come back?

▶ Watch this part (3:01)

Short answer: No. Once you die you don’t come back; John came in the spirit and power of Elijah.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:01 Had already been dead almost five hundred years and the prophet said Elijah is going to come well we know in the Bible that once you die you don’t come back until the resurrection. And now right do we know that yeah that’s what the Bible says David says I’m gonna go to my son my son can’t come back to me alright until the resurrection like it Jesus is death and burial the saints of old the graves were open and when Jesus arose they arose and when he ascended they ascended so we know Elijah scripturally can’t come back as. He was and then the scriptures make it very clear that he’s going to come in the spirit and in the power of a light one Elijah coming himself he came in the spirit and the power of Elijah are you with me now this was four hundred fifty years before now you got a statement.

Was Jesus’ birth the dreadful day of the Lord?

▶ Watch this part (4:07)

Short answer: No. Jesus didn’t come to destroy the world but to save it; His first coming was great news of joy.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:07 Here the great and dreadful fearful. Day of the Lord now you show me in the Bible anywhere where the birth of Jesus was dreadful and fearful. Joy to the world peace on earth goodwill toward men he come not to judge the world but to save the world what is fearful and dreadful about it nothing. Now there so he’s talking about two things here in nee and in acts chapter two he calls the quotes of verse where it says the noble the great and noble day of the Lord was his first coming but we all know when he comes again he’s coming to judge he’s coming to punish and we know that the Bible says the people are going to be afraid they’re gonna try to hide from him they’re gonna be trembling so we got the spirit of Elijah coming.

▶ 5:10 Ahead of us at another time are you there I’m just throwing these out for you deep. Spiritual people that like the meat of the work. Alright. So. He’s going to turn he the turn means repent he’s going to bring a message of repentance and he’s actually going to turn people to Jesus Christ he isn’t gonna turn into faith he isn’t gonna turn into grace he isn’t gonna turn him to the pre-tribulation post-tribulation or any tribulation he’s gonna turn him to who Jesus Christ that was his ministry he went out as a hurl before the king proclaiming the king it’s coming the king is coming prepare and everybody would come out and then the king would parade to the town and that’s what John the baptist was he was a proclaimer of the king Jesus the messiah that was coming to save his people and he is the only savior in that and they’re powerful and this was 450 years before Jesus came along so.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 3:17 (NKJV)

— John 3:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:20

What did he preach about Y2K?

▶ Watch this part (7:36)

Short answer: He preached it from the word: God promised He would not flood the earth again.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:36 The elders of the church came and said can you preach on the y2k problem I said I sure can I can preach on it from the word of God and I can preach on it from knowledge because I used to be in the computer business I understood how computers work I totally understood that it only does what you tell it to do it only brings out what you put into it all right and I also read a lot so I knew what everybody was doing and so when I preached on it and showed them that God don’t need men’s help to do anything in this earth he’s very capable of doing in himself are you there and also told them my knowledge of the computer the binary system and all that works this way. And I am going to be no catastrophes and there was it all right but secular people try to prophesy things now al gore came along and prophesied that we’re going to go into a climate change you know the earth’s warming up and by 2013 a lot of europe’s gonna be under water california is gonna be under water a lot of the continent so that the waters going to grow up but I knew my Bible that God would not flood the earth again.

▶ 9:00 If they could get God to flood the earth again then none of us would believe in God because God definitely said it ain’t going to happen and I write the rainbow. And. The polar bears were supposed to get extinct and they’re multiplying like crazy all right mount fuji is not supposed to have any snow on it and it’s still got snow. And we’re into the fifth year after he said these things were going to happen they haven’t happened he said this in the 90s and it didn’t happen are you there. But let me tell you something folks God never misses when he prophesized and the Bible says there is no God that can tell you things beforehand that are going to happen but me the Lord God and when he prophesized it’s going to happen amen and when he said Elijah was going to come then it’s going to happen.

▶ 10:09 Up here this dreadful day of the Lord remember Jesus didn’t come to destroy the world but to save the world. So this first coming was not dreadful it was the great noble day of the Lord and we’re living in the great nuovo day of the Lord amen yes so we find also 700 years before Christ came. 700. And almost twice as much as Malachi the Lord himself will give you a sign a miracle a super night thing that only a supernatural power can do and what was this sign what was this miracle a virgin.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Genesis 9:11 (NKJV)

Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

— Genesis 9:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:00

Why was the virgin birth a miracle?

▶ Watch this part (11:01)

Short answer: A virgin shall conceive and bear a Son; it had to be supernaturally done.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 11:01 Will conceive and give birth to a son is going to conceive and that baby is going to grow and that baby is going to be born and there’s nothing [unclear] can do about it cesar can do about it the Jewish religious leaders can do about it because God prophesied 700 years before it’s going to happen and nothing can stop God from doing what he said he’s gonna do amen. He even prophesied that the roman empire would come after the grecian in power and Christ would be born and crucified in the roman empire. Let me tell you our God knows what he’s doing he’s in charge of the earth it may not look like it sometimes folks but he’s in charge of this earth and I hear an amen the Jesus we serve is the king of kings and the Lord of lords and the only savior the builder of the church the great I am a man the beginning the end and everything in between he’s it.

▶ 12:07 So this had to be supernaturally done because we all know that a woman has to have intimate relationships with a man to bring forth a child so this has to be a miracle. From God all right and they’re gonna call him emmanuel how many of you were named years before you were ever born and thought of none of you see but Jesus was named 700 years before he came into this earth and prophesied what he would do and he did every bit of it emmanuel means God with us Jesus whether you believe it or not or where they teach it out there or not is God in the flesh God with us Jesus is God in a fleshly body that an amen yes.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Isaiah 7:14 (NKJV)

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Was Jesus created?

▶ Watch this part (13:10)

Short answer: No. Jesus was planned before the foundation of the world; that was God’s plan A.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 13:10 Jesus was not a created being. He was a birth b before the foundation of the world the Bible says Jesus died for our sin. God planned Jesus to be born before he created at him and this book of enoch and the watchers and all that nonsense a bunch of baloney I hope you don’t fall for that stuff. Are you out there. There’s no dead people walking around on earth then are now in spirit form creating havoc in the world how. That God be true and every man a liar there’s so many people getting wrapped up in this book of enoch that book is so full of mistakes it’s embarrassing that people even acknowledge it could that be an amen any to any book that takes away from Jesus throw it out.

▶ 14:11 Jesus was God’s design before he made Adam and Eve do we got that yeah that was his plan a he didn’t have two plans that was his plan a and that’s the plan that’s carried through all this time how old it now. So. Now we come to. Luke chapter one an angel comes and visits righteous Zechariah and Elizabeth I’m always having these people on facebook tell me that we all have to sin because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God there’s none righteous no not one and I show him Elizabeth and zachariah were righteous and in the law blameless blameless I’ve shown that simeon was a righteous man and he came to the temple to.

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Peter 1:20 (NKJV)

He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

— 1 Peter 1:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:10

Who were Zechariah and Elizabeth?

▶ Watch this part (15:04)

Short answer: Both righteous before God, walking blameless in His commandments.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 15:04 Prophesy and see the Lord Jesus Christ are you there Barnabas was a good man Noah was a righteous man Daniel you can find no fault in him. And. These two were righteous before the Lord. But Elizabeth had passed the age of childbearing. We don’t know how old she was but we know how old sara was sara was 90 years old. Nine years old man that is old you. Get wrinkly you get old age barnacles on you like me and you get varicose veins and all the body starts sagging and drooping and dripping. And your face looks like the mummy visitation and all these movies and I’ll dried up and shriveled.

▶ 16:09 Listen church God said he’d give a sign didn’t he all this is supernaturally done if you go back and read about sara when God told sara she was going to have a child next year sara left so don’t believe this group that you got to believe for everything God will put the belief in you when you need the faith he will put it in you faith comes from God and his word oh it isn’t you conjuring up some faith I gotta believe I got no no doesn’t work that way and that’s another thing I tangle with all the time on facebook these people are trying to conjure up enough faith to get what they want or to stay faithful to God and all that no no no no oh. They’re.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Luke 1:6 (NKJV)

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

— Luke 1:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:04

What happened when Zechariah didn’t believe?

▶ Watch this part (17:03)

Short answer: The angel said his prayer was answered, but because he didn’t believe he would be mute until it happened.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 17:03 So anyway and remember. Zechariah. Didn’t believe he told the angel when the angel said you’re gonna have a son he said Zechariah your prayers have been answered Zechariah had been praying for a child even past the age of reproduction. Should we just keep praying yes when it looks impossible he’s still pray for a child. Some people give up too fast I hope you’re not one of them amen give God time just keep praying but anyway he said how can that happen my wife is past the age of childbearing she can’t have kids and all that names I said okay because of that statement you’re not gonna be able to talk till he’s born.

▶ 17:57 Some disciplinary right I mean I that’s really hard to take you know you’re gonna get a son and only price you pay as a small little thing because you didn’t believe that you can’t talk for six months well or nine months well Elizabeth probably glad of that yeah. Especially married to John uh. Okay they were old they were past the age of childbearing but they were praying alright now here we have restoration. Elizabeth and serves both were passed the age of childbearing but God restored the reproductive organ and with that restoration. He restored.

▶ 18:53 Their age. Guess who that is that’s me at 43. Now with my sanctified imagination just go into this sanctified imagination world with me Zechariah is in the temple he’s told he’s gonna have a son and he can’t talk but he gets his job done he can’t wait to get his job become go home and tell Elizabeth he goes home to Elizabeth and he walks in. No varicose vein no ol age barnacles no sagging in places that shouldn’t be sagging the hair knots in and gray nice and silky and flowy man can you imagine this guy now how do I know that because sara at 90 years old the king wanted her as his wife.

Can God restore His people?

▶ Watch this part (20:01)

Short answer: Yes. As God made the aged Elizabeth fruitful, He can make us new creatures the world will desire.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 20:01 Now what young king wants a 90 year old woman. Are you there I’m not asking for a reply I’m just I’m just pretending I’m asking okay so I can keep moving now. It’s like Sarah and Abraham Sarah was so restored both in the natural and in childbearing that kings wanted to marry her the egyptian king wanted her married before that are you there. So Zechariah walks in and he sees this and they do what comes naturally and guess what nine months later John the baptist is born just like God said supernaturally supernet now folks if God can restore old women.

▶ 20:57 To have children and be desirable again in the natural can he restore his people yes to be a new creature something that the world we’ll desire because of our good works because of our lifestyle and ask of the hope that’s within us amen that’s the power of the resurrection and God shows it right here in the birth of John the baptist are you with me don’t ever give up on God I don’t care what you’re going through keep praying whatever you’re going through keep seeking him whatever you’re going through God promised restoration I will restore the years of destruction. Amen. And God can do it if he can do this to an old woman he can do it to you spiritually ain’t that beautiful no.

What was John the Baptist like?

▶ Watch this part (21:56)

Short answer: He would drink no wine or strong drink, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and turn many to the Lord.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 21:56 My time is running out yeah Elijah did seven main miracles and some minor one Elisha did 14 miracles because he had a double portion of Elijah but John the baptist did no miracles and let me tell you. The spirit of Elijah and Moses that’s coming it was Moses and Elijah that talked to Jesus they weren’t dead they were still alive even though I’d been dead over a thousand years are you with me. John drink no alcohol all these Christians has say Jesus drink they’re lying he couldn’t have drink or he wouldn’t have been the sacrifice.

▶ 22:48 Wine is mockery strong drink is raging and people who give themself to it is not wise when you drink you behold strange women you have wounds and sorrows and woes that you could have avoided Jesus could not have violated any law in God can I hear an amen. John the baptist did no miracles didn’t drink alcohol he had the Holy Spirit from the womb he was baptized in the Holy Ghost from the womb and these people to say you give you give filled with the Holy Ghost that water baptism oh John the baptist’s got baptized and Holy Ghost in his mother’s moon and the six month to be exact if you want to read your Bible are you there now they don’t corral God he Adam and he does what he wants in heaven and earth can I hear an amen the Holy Ghost baptism is the Holy Ghost baptism water baptism is what about today there are two baptisms and I strongly urge seek it till you get it and you’ll know when you get it whether you speak in tongues or not you will know when you get it you don’t have to ask.

▶ 24:11 And he brought the message of repentance and turning people to Jesus isn’t that what we should be doing turning people to Jesus do you know this church’s main ministry is not a school. This church’s youth program is not the church is main thing the church is main objective is to turn people to Jesus Christ. Not to our doctrines and our beliefs and our ideas and opinions the church is here to turn people to Jesus Christ like John the baptist was a forerunner to bring people to Jesus we are the forerunners to bring people to Jesus. Amen and then Jesus can turn them out right if we can turn them to Jesus he is very capable of turning them out right is that an amen yes just give him a little time.

▶ Watch this part (25:11)

Short answer: The Holy Ghost came upon her; she said, let it be to me according to your word.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 25:11 And he’ll work you over like nobody can. For your good for your good now. Six months later the angel visits Mary and Joseph who are engaged. But not married and back then they didn’t have premarital sex and all that going on they followed the rules all right we get married because we want sex and we want to do it legally in God’s eyes. And these people that act like they have no sexual problems let me tell you my Bible tells me you burn with passion God put it there because he’s going to multiply the earth whether we like it or not and you want to look at each other and you’re going wow I like that thing are you there some people make sex like it’s some dirty second not even second class thing and it’s down here matter of you if you want sex you’re really a weak Christian oh come on are you there God made us sexual beings don’t be embarrassed of it just control it like God gave us the ability to do keep it in the marriage.

▶ 26:34 So anyway. She conceived by the God. Overspreading her and the Holy Ghost coming up on her and she birthed Jesus nine months later from a meeting with God say a meeting with God a meeting with God he didn’t restore the young virgin she already had reproductive organs but she hadn’t known a man and God came and supernaturally conceived Jesus and he was born nine months later named emmanuelle Jesus got in a second name alright. Jehovah saves and Jehovah’s with us God saves and God’s with us that’s who Jesus is he’s with us to save us.

And he came to save his people from their sins how many of you are glad of that yeah somewhere along the line all of us had to acknowledge I messed up whether it’s a little mess-up or a big mess up we all messed up we come to him we admit it he forgives us cleanses us puts his presence in us and starts moving us toward reconciliation to God. Conditionally not just positionally. Amen. Now. So. The things we have learned here as the musicians come number one John is Elijah in a spirit and power of Elijah by restoration prayer it was.

Should we keep praying?

▶ Watch this part (28:30)

Short answer: Yes. God put it in Zechariah to pray; don’t stop asking God.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 28:30 God put it in Zechariah to pray folks God wants to put it in your heart to pray things that you want to happen don’t stop asking God for them even Jesus said if you ask and keep on asking it will be done these people that say asks one time if you got faith just stop praying no you ask and keep asking you’ve got to spend time in prayer doing something so why not be productive and ask God to do these things that only God can do amen. Now. He is Elijah that came the first time and he’s a spirit empower Elijah it’s going to come the second time Jesus came to save he’s the only savior. Church he is the only savior faith did not die on that cross grace did not die on that cross.

▶ 29:29 Jesus died on that cross hallelujah he is the savior. And the only one that can reconcile you back to God no man comes unto the father but by me Jesus said can I hear an amen nobody. Grace did not bring you to God faith does not bring you to God Jesus brings you to God. By his grace and faith big difference. Very prayed. Very also was a prayer after the angel came to her she just couldn’t believe it she’s just in awe and what was her prayer be it unto me according to thy word my heart.

▶ 30:26 Responds to you. God. I’m following you I’m responding to you that was her prayer. Zechariah pray and he got restoration and his prayer answered Mary prayed and she got the will of God done in her life to birth Jesus and some people worship her today you don’t worship other than God and Jesus who is God in the flesh you. Don’t worship any method or person God uses all right. And she had that with a meeting with God how many love those meeting with God yes you can meet with God not just once you can meet with him daily you can meet with him weekly he may back off from you for a while to see if you’re gonna seek him just keep seeking him like zak did and he’s gonna come amen.

Who controls earthly events?

▶ Watch this part (31:36)

Short answer: God is supernatural and all-powerful; He is in control of earthly events.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 31:36 Secondly we find that God is supernatural all-powerful he controls earthly events amen he’s in control of earthly events no one else and he uses Satan for his evil things God can do no evil so he created Satan to destroy to test you and all that because God can’t do evil do you guys understand that this fallen angel thing can be misinterpreted. He was created to destroy God cannot do evil. And we learned the Bible is God’s eternal living supernatural word God said it and by golly it’s going to happen amen and if you seek him if you follow this man Jesus he will not only save you he will grow you in to a person that lives in the image of Christ that’s why first grant then said people see our good works and want the God that’s in us see their lives are falling apart their homes are falling apart because they don’t follow God.

▶ 32:57 Their lives are shattered because they get addicted to something and they see us and then as Paul said the inquire of the hope that’s within you and then you can say Jesus Jesus died on the cross for us Jesus is the restorer he’s the rebuilder Jesus is to forgive her he forgives sins he cleanses sin he delivers from sin and he makes a new creature out of you is that an amen church.
