The Beginning of Jesus’ Ministry 02/23/2020: full transcript and answers

▶ 0:00 Today we’re gonna be talking about him from the time he was or time up to 30 years old from 30 years old and up. God offered the tree of life eternal life back in the garden Adam and Eve rejected it ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil the Bible says God created Eve oh. Interesting in net. But he said choose life didn’t he she was right choose life don’t choose evil so Jesus came was born and we looked at him from at a baby stage at his age 12 and today at age 30 he had the weight. Age 30 to fulfill shadow law in the Old Testament shadow laws you couldn’t be a priest until you were 30 years old and Jesus had to fulfill all the shadow laws so he had to wait to age 30 to start preaching and ministering okay and that’s found in numbers chapter 4 verse 3 and in Luke 3:23 it says Jesus was thirty years old and then of course his death on the cross have brought us life eternal life so we in looking at the scriptures found.

▶ 1:23 That Herod and the soldiers and the priests and the master teachers didn’t listen to the shepherds the shepherd’s saw the glory of God only Moses in the Bible had seen the glory of God before and everybody overlooks the fact that the shepherd seen the glory of God and it doesn’t say that he they saw the behind of God like Moses it says they saw the glory of God oh yeah. The glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it and so there’s a lot of things taking place at Jesus’s birth and the shepherd’s.

▶ 2:10 Went down and they saw Jesus and they spread the news throughout the whole region and so these people heard it from the shepherds and then the three wise men are not three wise men gosh the wise men came down they got me hung up on three you repeat something often enough people believe it doesn’t say how many wise men but the wise men came down and they said we are looking for the king of the Jews we’ve come to worship him and give gifts unto him and so they called together Herod called together the priest and the priest says he’s going to be born in Bethlehem okay Herod heard it the soldiers heard it the priest heard it the master teachers heard it and they rejected Jesus even though they knew he was coming and knew he was going to be born in Bethlehem they never went down to see him worship him and give him gifts remember a supernatural thing is taking place and no one is interested so.

▶ 3:12 We have these guys rejecting baby Jesus. Then at age twelve he’s in the temple talking and asking questions and giving answers that is amazing to them he’s 12 years old he’s there for five days now how many people in the right mind is going to talk to a 12 year old boy for five days without saying where is your parent you know we got a missing persons problem hit. But they’re talking to a 12 year old boy and he knows his scriptures and they were amazed the Bible says and his questions that he asked them and the answers that he gave them because they couldn’t answer his questions.

▶ 4:04 Are you there. So they reject here Jesus is there in the flesh they’re looking for him they’re saying he’s coming and he’s there and they don’t recognize him and know him all right Jerusalem the Bible says was stirred up when these wise men came whole city was stirred but the city didn’t go down and worship Jesus even look for him and give him gifts is it possible today folks we can hear the message and not respond and go perform the message that we hear. Is it possible we can believe in Jesus and not really seek him and find him all right then.

▶ 4:58 And remember the Bible says he came into his own in his own what received him not you see and the Bible says in Isaiah 52 that he is despised and rejected of men and we see the fulfillment of their they want religion they want faith in God but they don’t want to go out of their way to serve him and worship him alleluia so. Jesus told them both the master teachers he was talking to and mother Mary his mother and Joseph his guardian father I. Must be about my father’s business. Here he is 12 years old been in the temple five days talking and he says I must be about my father’s business and they responded and said what.

▶ 5:58 They didn’t understand a thing he was talking about folks Mary and Joseph experienced angels visiting them they experienced a supernatural birth John the baptist and Jesus. Angels showing up I mean all this supernatural stuff twelve years goes by and they don’t understand could it be we don’t understand. Just because we’ve heard stuff is it clicking you see is it bringing a response. Are we just satisfied with hearing are we just satisfied with 12 years ago experience with God and not looking for a fresh one today now that was a good statement now there are we satisfied with yesterday’s visitation to God are we hungry for him in this hour and day is that a good amen hallelujah now.

▶ 6:59 My father’s business a business is there for a profit it profits the business and it profits the consumer who buys the service or the product from the business yes a God is in the business of saving souls from sin God is in the business of giving people eternal life and living with him forever and ever amen that’s the profit he gets out of this it’s you and I he wants you and I to be with him forever and ever in eternity in that beautiful and what profit does it do us we get saved from our sin we get eternal life and then we get all the peripheral stuff that goes with it but always keep Jesus the savior Jesus the giver of eternal life don’t you let the peripheral things dominate you keep Jesus as the top source and you will win is that an amen.

▶ 8:09 So we profit greatly and and Luke it says he opened their understanding to understand the scriptures just before he ascended he opened their understanding they had been with him for three and a half years Mary had been with him since chanti was born and yet they didn’t have their understanding open till he was just ready to ascend into heaven. Alleluia how many could use a little more spiritual understanding and you realize just reading the book doesn’t do it you have to let Jesus oh you’re understanding out of there. Remember the Bible says that Jesus and this salvation plan and everything was hidden in mysteries in the Bible but is open to us today and he opened their understanding hallelujah so hang in there what you don’t understand today you will understand tomorrow because he has to keep his word he can’t lie he will open your understanding alleluia and for lack of knowledge my people are destroyed so the opposite is true for.

▶ 9:32 The Revelation of knowledge you will live and not be destroyed amen now. First Peter 2:21 Christ leaving you an example that you should follow his steps who she will be following him not the great mega church preachers or the little church preachers like me or the pope over there in europe yet no Jesus is our example and we’re to follow him period no ands or buts or plusses the child grew Jesus as a child group God wants you to grow I was explaining to people on facebook that you are not born again when you believe. Because so many on facebook think that because they believe in accepted Christ they’re born again you’re not.

▶ 10:32 No baby is born at the point of conception. That baby has to grow it’s got to get organs it’s got to get limbs it’s got to be able to breathe on its own it’s got to be able to eat on its own it’s got to be able to survive outside the womb then it’s born. Could that be an amen how many know when you come to Christ yes he is conceived in you but you need to grow and be born of the spirit the Bible says and of the word you can’t separate the spirit in the and Jesus is that an amen hallelujah. So we need to be in the word and we need to be in prayer and worship in the presence of the spirit so we can grow and get birthed by the spirit and by the word then we start growing in the kingdom of God that we now can exist in.

He increased in wisdom now if Jesus increased I mean I’m sorry he was filled with wisdom he wax strong in the spirit number two he was filled with wisdom if he wax strong in the spirit how many you know we need to increase in the spirit we can’t just stay where we’re at is that an amen all right if the master was filled with wisdom we need to be filled with wisdom amen isn’t that a promise of God wisdom yes and great the grace of God was upon him God favored him God favors you doesn’t mean a hill of beans without the spirit and the wisdom and the other things.

▶ 12:23 [unclear] and now he increased in wisdom number five here he was filled with wisdom and that wisdom is enlarging itself isn’t that beautiful church we can experience the same thing if we follow Jesus the way he did it we can do it amen and then he increased in stature he and he grew and maturity both in the natural flesh and in the spirit he grew to maturity and the Bible says in Ephesians that we can come to the fullness of the stature of Christ the maturity of Christ and so many Christians I would just want to stay saved that’s it the world needs mature solid Christians out there could that be an amen to get their attention.

▶ 13:24 And he increased in favor [unclear] grace. Favor with God and men is the American church in favor with the people of America no we are a mess in America when I visit third-world countries all over the world that I did for decades that church in third-world countries is powerful they don’t they don’t mess around they don’t come up with this doctrinal nonsense they get born again they get saved then they serve Christ and they’re solid as a rock in America all we do is talk and argue in that a in that row we need to come to a place and the Bible says grace has a doctrine what is that doctrine of grace.

▶ 14:16 Live godly in this present world. Shun evil and live godly if you’re one that says I’m saved by grace then you should be shun and evil and you should be walking godly in this present world right now or you’re just behind the hiding behind grace all right that is the seven steps that Jesus grew in and he is the example that we are to follow amen now. Let us go to the message of Jesus thirty years old and he preaches this message the same message that John the baptist preached the same message that the apostles preached and it’s the same unchanging gospel message today you cannot fool with this message.

▶ 15:11 You can talk about the second coming in any way you want to you can talk about the baptism of the Holy Ghost in any way you want to you can talk of a lot a lot of things in any way you want to but you can’t mess around with the message of the gospel of kingdom for salvation and eternal life can I hear an amen you cannot mess around with the Jesus that was born of a virgin did miracles here on earth lay down his life rose again and ascended unto heaven that is the Jesus of the Bible and you take any element of that out that is not the Jesus of the Bible you need to get back to the Jesus of the Bible and there’s so many people not preaching the Jesus of the Bible they take an element out some of them don’t believe that he could be born of a virgin they don’t have the Jesus of the Bible. Amen. And this.

▶ 16:06 Is the message believe the gospel mark chapter 1 verse 4 and verses beyond it John the baptist came preaching believe. Confess your sins repenting your sins be water baptized for the pardon and forgiveness of sins amen. Jesus come along and what message that he had the same message believe. Confess repent be water baptized for the pardon and forgiveness of sins amen the apostles go out after the day of Pentecost and start preaching what message did they have believe. That Jesus was born of a virgin preached the gospel did miracles lay down his life because no one can take it nobody could kill God and they didn’t kill God they killed the body that God lived in this is where the muslims and the mormons and a lot of Christians really goof it up.

▶ 17:12 They can’t kill you they can kill the body that your spirit lives in but your spirit lives on amen. Hallelujah. The apostles in Acts 2:38. What must we do the apostle says repent and be baptized every one of you for the remission of sins same message and then all three of them spoke this read it with me bring for the fruit of repentance. All three of them spoke that message don’t just repent don’t just feel sorry for being a bad guy don’t just stop it confessing and say I’ve been wrong but start living.

▶ 18:06 Like you repented. All three of them preached this same message and what’s the message lacking in America you don’t have to bring forth the fruit of repentance just feel bad for your sins and go on sinning. Hallelujah. It takes time folks. To grow and produce fruit. Remember the fruit tree that didn’t bear fruit three years and they said do we cut it down Jesus said no give it one more year takes time when you plant a tree it doesn’t produce fruit the first year it takes several years for it to start producing fruit don’t give up on yourself because you’re not there yet you will get there as you pursue him get into the word prayer and worship God can’t lie he will call you to grow if you get the water you get the word he will bring the life some soul some water but God gives the what life.

▶ 19:20 Hallelujah isn’t that beautiful yes and don’t excuse yourself for being a sinner after you’re saved. Thinking there’s nothing you can do like I hear people in the internet oh there’s none righteous no not one and I give them a whole list of righteous people in the Bible. And they say know what yeah we weren’t before but we get saved and we grow in righteousness and little by little those old that old life drops off and the new life takes over we can live a righteous life amen. If we can’t why why do we say there’s power in the cross why do we say there’s power in the blood if he can’t really deliver us heal us and cause us to grow he don’t have any power he saves us from sin to continue in sin that doesn’t make sense.

▶ 20:23 Amen church. This is the message of the gospel. You got to put effort in you’re not earning anything get out of that stupid thing that oh no you can’t earn salvation you can’t do any work say baloney when I got out of my seat and went to that altar call in that little church in norwalk california that was a work when that guy showed me the scriptures and said if you confess your sins he’s faithful and just to forgive you your sin I confess God forgave that was a work are you there. We have to put forth an effort folks or you’re not going to grow you got to go to church to be provoked and love to one another to do good works to love one another and do good works you got to get into the word because the word set you free the word brings health to you the word causes you to grow you got to read and study and you got to get into Bible studies you’ve got to put forth an effort or you will never be one that brings forth the fruit of repentance.

▶ 21:34 It takes effort and the growth is directly proportion to the effort that you put in it if anyone thinks we’re earning salvation that is the stupidest thing I ever heard and I hate it when they take good scriptures and say no no no no can I earn can earn listen I got to pray I got to seek him I got to read I got to do something so I can grow. And I’m not earning salvation I’m making an effort to grow in the salvation that I’m saved in. Amen. Hallelujah. And. Remember Jesus was baptized folks he is our example these people who say bap didn’t doesn’t save you why do you want to say that why do you want to discourage people from being baptized when it’s part of the salvation plan and I tell these people on facebook why are you discouraging people not to be bad ty we’re not just yes you are discouraging them and you’re doing it because you hate the catholics and the catholics believe that salvation save you so you gotta attack them you.

▶ 22:53 Shouldn’t hate catholics. You should love them and share this gospel that I’m preaching with them today. Amen. Don’t twist the Bible because some people take it out of context all right baptism is important. Hallelujah Jesus was baptized and that settles it are we following his example or some church leader somewhere his example even the kids know that they said amen to that yes. Now many from all the land of Judah Jerusalem that area were baptized of John and the river of Jordan John did no miracles they didn’t come out for any miracles people though you go to her miracles with people to get that man that were coming out in multitudes and no miracles his message was simply believe confess your sins repenting your sins get water baptized and bring forth the fruit of repentance and they were coming out by the groves and also the religious leaders were there to critique everything and go this is not God this is not the word you always got the critics just follow that conviction of the spirit in your heart and you will arrive at the destination.

The Jewish groups came out the Sadducees and the Pharisees almost everybody was a Sadducee or a Pharisee or a grecian you know all the Jews belong to some kind of group just like today we all belong to some kind of church group our problem is we try to. Please the church group instead of Christ and his word. Believe confess and repent of your sins the four steps to eternal life folks it was an Old Testament requirement. This same message was in the Old Testament all right.

▶ 25:16 Proverbs 28:13 people who conceal their sin they don’t confess will not prosper but if they confess and turn repent from their sins they will receive what mercy. It’s in the Old Testament it’s not a new message it’s an old message amplified and brought to life can I hear an amen oh we’re not under Old Testament law the Bible says the law of the Lord is perfect what are you going to why are you gonna throw out a perfect law because somebody says we know the law we’re under grace the law of the Lord is what perfect converting the soul you’re gonna throw out a law that is perfect and convert your soul does that make sense no the law were not under folks as the shadow law.

▶ 26:15 All the shadow laws Jesus fulfilled we don’t keep the shadow of the truth we keep the real truth amen he’s the sacrifice lamb instead of incense we praise and we pray that my prayers could come before thee as incense see all the shadow laws point to truth and that’s the law not under and that’s the law that the Jews wanted to neisha slee hang on to they love the natural building they love these natural things that they could do like candles you know holy water or do any little natural thing I can do to make me feel spiritual know Jesus fulfilled all the shadow laws he is the light of the world I don’t need to light no candles amen the word is the light and a lamp into my feet I don’t need to like candles I need the word and I need Jesus and I will have light oh.

▶ 27:12 Yeah. Now. Oops. Priest had to bathe in water offer a burnt offering to make atonement for himself and the people is it baptism was in the Old Testament that the pattern was there in the shadow law John the baptist and Jesus and the apostles came with the fulfillment of it all right Leviticus 1624 also the people had to bathe when they sinned they had to bathe in water come and offer an offering to make atonement for themselves and be forgiven of sin alright that’s the shadow law we just go straight to Christ now we get baptized one time we don’t have to bathe over and over we get baptized one time and it is sufficient for the rest of our life you don’t have to get rebaptised because you change searches.

▶ 28:12 Jesus only died once and baptism is the death, burial in the resurrection of Christ you go down into the water you go down into the grave you’re raised from the water you’re raised from the grave a new creature done an amen alleluia now. In Isaiah chapter 1 verse 10 I hate shadow laws God said I hate your sacrifices I hate your solemn assemblies I hate your Sabbath I hate your feast I hate all this stuff who told you to keep these things well God did but why did he tell them to keep them so they pointed they would learn how to live right holy before God not hung up on the shadow laws but what the shadow laws pointed to and then he says in Isaiah wash yourself bathe yourself make yourself clean put away your evil doings in my eyes cease to do evil learn to do well and seek judgment you can sum it up if love God with all your heart soul mind and love your neighbor as yourself and love yourself and love the brethren the new commandment that’s really not a new commandment it’s an o commandment love your neighbor but now you love your brethren the people of God is that an amen.

▶ 29:39 It’s in the Old Testament and they want to say well we don’t use the Old Testament the Old Testament was never done away with it was performed it was fulfilled in the truth amen now. And remember love God love your neighbor and love your brother sums up what the whole Bible if you say you don’t understand a book come on read it and look for what it’s written about how to love God without doing God harm love doesn’t do any harm how to love those around you without harming them that’s what the whole Bible is about and look for that stuff don’t look for judgment and criticism and and condemnation on all that look and let God teach you love that’s one of the hardest things I had to deal with as a new believer is trying to read into the book what I had been told on tv and radio and other people and God had to literally come to me and says son you got to shut yourself off to those voices and just read the book for yourself and I will reveal it to you.

▶ 30:55 And you we do we go when we hear there there’s a pre-tribulation rapture and so women read the Bible read we read it into it. If we’re in a church that believes in the pre millennial rapture when we read the Bible we read it into it and the Bible never has in there anywhere that any of these theories are the way Christ is going to come. They’re all theories because we try to interpret the prophets ourselves you know we go and well this is what the prophet meant well you better stick to what the scripture said how many you know the sure word of prophecy are the scriptures and the plain scriptures is the more sure of the shore amen. Jesus said he’s coming again is he coming again yes Jesus said no man knows the day or the hour do with anybody know the day on the hour know that settled it don’t give me your theories and your ideas and your hints just give me facts could that be an amen he’ll come when he’s good and ready now.

Just don’t mess with them that they got it amen somebody’s already got the wheel invented let’s don’t reinvent it amen but 99% of them are from my own creation and here’s am in the path to eternal life and salvation from sin the path to what eternal life I got bulletins all over posters all over the room about eternal life that is the message folks it’s not the second coming it’s not saved by grace through faith and all this stuff that everybody’s hung up on it is eternal life through Jesus Christ plus nothing.

▶ 33:24 Amen. We got to stick with that message of the gospel. Number one you got to believe from birth to the second coming you got to believe that Jesus was he born of a virgin why because the Bible says so amen. Did he preached the gospel and do miracles yes why because the Bible says so did he lay down his life because no one had the power to take it yes why because the Bible says so did he ascend on a third day yes why because the Bible says so period a man.

▶ 34:21 After 40 days and 10 days before Passover did he ascend into the heavens yes why because the Bible says so did the angels say he’s going to come back in like manner why. Because the Bible says so these people that say the rapture he doesn’t touch the earth he just comes for the secret rapture just for his secret people. Doesn’t fit in he’s coming back the way he went was his feet on the earth when he left yes if he’s coming back in the same way is his feet going to come back on the earth yes why because the Bible says so. We want to defend a lot of these theories and try to please our church leaders instead of defending Jesus and his work.

▶ 35:24 Alleluia. Confess your sins and confess Jesus is Lord can you say Jesus is Lord that means he’s the top boss he is the top leader under God of course. Repent from what sin sin is the violation of God’s word if God says it’s sin is sin I love those people that put on there if God says that sin is sin that’s it then I say that’s Bible facts. Whether you believe it sin or not doesn’t matter God says it’s sin. And be water baptized and don’t give me this junk who the see from the coast wasn’t backed up yeah he’s dying you’re going to take one example in the Bible and say oh you don’t need to be water baptized when tens of thousands got water baptized including Jesus Christ amen.

▶ 36:30 Why don’t we do this stuff because we’re told things and we believe them if we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel let him be what a curse. Excommunicated cut off you can’t change this message you can talk about the second coming theories all you want you can talk about a lot of the word all you want but you can’t change this eternal life salvation from sin message this is the message preach John preached and the apostles preached and we are to preach what they preached amen and you young people in this church you’ve got to stand strong in America and stand up for this gospel whether you grow in multitudes and numbers or not if you will get this message out people will respond and they will get saved and they will get born again and they will grow in God.

▶ 37:34 You know Jesus reached the and the apostles reached the whole world turned it upside down without a music group don’t you. Without a family famous athlete or movie star coming in or our actor given a testimony you realize this. They turn the world upside down without psychologists coming in and telling you how you think and how to overcome am I right why do we think the message has changed this message worked back then and it will work now don’t dilute it don’t add to it don’t take away from it this message is how you get saved it’s how you get eternal life and it’s how you’re going to grow. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ let him be what an athame a curse same word maranatha the Lord is coming.

▶ 38:38 Jesus said if you love me you will want keep my laws. He’s in love with me not keep us not my laws and he that doesn’t keep my laws as a liar and the truth of God isn’t in him. While we’re growing we have to preach and speak. Above our level of growth could that be an amen we can preach this gospel without heaven to attained to all of it in our life yet because the gospel stands by itself.

▶ 39:22 Don’t limit the gospel to your growth level you just keep growing and keep sharing Jesus with people could that be a good amen yes he Paul said he will complete the work that he has begun in us folks as a young Christian that verse held me together I you know I hadn’t grown you’re not perfect after you get saved you’re not even close to being perfect you still got a stupid mouth that speaks stupid things and you still do stupid things but God said you follow me and I’ll make you I’ll fashioned you into a fisher of men a light to the world they’ll see your good works just hang in there dave hang in there and you’ll get there and I did and I’m still hanging in amen.
