▶ 0:00 We told you there was a falling away between 300 and 1300 ad we’re going to look at how amazing the Bible predicts and influences future history they say this thing was written by man there’s no way man can do this predict and influence future history. And as it says in the second Thessalonians Christ shall not come now any minute imminent see they have the same problem back in the early church as we have now but [unclear] in a minute in a minute Christ shall not come any minute let no one deceive you alright.

▶ 0:53 first there has to be a falling away an apostasy a deflection from the truth of the gospel to our own gospel alright secondly the people of sin has to be revealed. These two things has to happen before Christ can come are you there. Heirs of destruction these apostate people these falling away people will inherit destruction. These people oppose all that is called God our worship as God these people lift themselves up on and above all that is called God or worshipped as God they come up with their own way of worship they come up with their own gospel okay the third thing that has to happen is all.

All revealed iniquity whether it be we believe in God’s word and we don’t do it or whether we say that word of God is written by man and we don’t believe it either way all lawlessness all iniquity will be revealed the question is have these things been revealed. Or not along with this Revelation Jesus will destroy with the spirit of his mouth this iniquity [unclear] you know he wants to destroy the sin not the sinner. Yeah and he says he’ll destroy these iniquities all iniquities with the spirit of his mouth and we know that’s his word the sword of the spirit and at his second coming then his second coming can come got it now.

▶ 2:48 Not only did the Bible predict the falling away which happened in 300 to 1300 ad but he predicted a restoration in Acts 3:20 God will send Jesus Christ whom the heavens must receive until the times of the restoration of all things spoken by the mouth of the prophets since the world began that means Adam Enoch Noah Abraham Moses David Isaiah Jeremiah Ezekiel all the way down to John the Baptist. Everything that they predicted has to be restored isn’t that beautiful see God can predict and God can make it happen. so the restoration the restoration went on for 400 years from 1300 ad to 1700 ad God was restoring the truths back to the church and we started denominations by them the Lutherans the Methodists the Baptists and so forth every time God revealed the truth a new denomination started isn’t that what we do we’re just good at starting anew you know okay.

▶ 4:06 But in the 1700s a new group arose the era of Enlightenment reasoning came and a group called themselves the liberals you need to understand this the liberals have been with [unclear] for hundreds of years. They said there’s no virgin birth because it’s irrational can’t happen they said that Jesus did not die and rise.

▶ 4:43 From the grave because you can’t rise from the grave they use reasoning natural man’s reasoning and they brought it into the church there is no hell and Jesus died for the sins of the world okay there is no hell the Bible is not a book of truth it’s not a literal book it is a book written by people that were reflecting what they thought about God at the time that’s what they say and they still say that this is still their beliefs okay they don’t believe there’s a Satan Satan is just a fiction story and they don’t believe in the second return and they don’t believe that prayer can change things only humans can change things so they call themselves liberals modernists and humanists that’s what they called themselves and they infiltrated the church so what did God do and this.

▶ 5:39 Is the second apostasy now a lot of the Catholics and the Greek Orthodox the Orthodox churches did not change in the restoration they continued as usual. God sent a refreshing okay he said in Acts 3:19 repent change your mind change your goals change your purpose and be converted turn back to my gospel turn back to me change your thinking how many could use a little change of thinking yeah alright that your sins may be blotted out so what’s the condition for sins blotted out you’ve got to repent and be converted. amen you got [unclear] you got to turn from the wrong alright when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord you see God came in the 1700s by his spirit and worked a spiritual work in the colonies they called it the first great awakening okay.

▶ 6:52 so times of refreshing is [unclear] by people repenting and turning back to God could that be a conclusion yeah all right there’s four awakenings in the United States and Europe and there’s four falling away. God picks us up we go our own way God comes and visit we go our own way that’s that’s us that’s us human okay so the fundamentalists these people that rose up and said no Christ was born of a virgin he did do signs and wonders he did die on the cross he was resurrected he ascended back into heaven he is coming again he and people can only be saved through him and his shed blood and they were called fundamentalist and the fundamentalists are [unclear] today you’re probably a fundamentalist if you believe these basic things you see they said there is a Satan there is a hell there is a lake of fire all right so the fundamentalist confronted the liberals and they’ve been confronting them ever since most of you hear the word fundamentalism and you don’t even know what the word means [unclear] well now you know.

▶ 8:11 See I’m a fundamentalist why I believe in the Bible is a book of truth and these gospel truths I am a fundamentalist how many are a fundamentalist yes the liberals don’t believe in the gospel and stuff okay so it is interesting to know that the Revolutionary War began right after God prepared these colonists with this great awakening this refreshing. they wrote a Declaration of Independence that said We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and they are endowed by their creator by certain unchangeable rights of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness now folks where do you think they got those words from that great awakening that refreshing that God brought he brought [unclear] people back to him and they said their creator who is Jesus who is God gave everybody certain rights can you see that the great awakening that the first refreshing influenced the Declaration of Independence yeah.

▶ 9:31 God came by his presence he didn’t ask mankind’s permission he just came and he prepared the colonists for the Revolutionary War and it says in that Declaration of Independence that it is the right of the people to abolish a destructive government did you hear that it is the right of the people to abolish a destructive government so when these people say you know get rid of automatic weapons and [unclear] get rid of guns don’t you do that you know that the colonists through God moving realized that people have the right to defend themselves against an abuse of government oh Yeah and if churches would preach this stuff we wouldn’t have this confusion out there all right now the Constitution we the people of the United States in order to form a more perfect union.

▶ 10:35 how they gonna form a more perfect union by establishing justice not crime not wrong this Constitution is there to establish justice. We’ve got to do what’s right we’ve got to exalt what’s right not what’s wrong and not just established justice but ensure domestic tranquility or domestic peace what does that mean that means they’re going to defend the good citizen against a bad one so that the good citizen can live in peace folks this Constitution was revolutionary back then are you with me no government through history had this kind of a constitution this was ignited by the first refreshing that God said he would bring and he brought it and he influenced the people to stand up and be free are you there isn’t that powerful.

▶ 11:38 Also he said they will promote the general welfare he didn’t say would provide the general welfare he didn’t say to give food stamps and and welfare payments to people he said will promote the general welfare how do you do that by having an economic system where people can work and provide for themselves. are you there the liberals they don’t want that kind of Constitution they want to change the Constitution I call it the Constitution apostasy the falling away they want to [unclear] they want to get us away from our founding fathers’ Constitution that God came himself and influenced our forefathers to write do you agree with that. And. Provide for the common defense.

They want to take the money for the military and give it to people and of course people vote for them because they want freebies and you got to understand this has been going on since the 1700s are you there the battle today is not a new battle it’s an old battle it just keeps recycling in America. Amen. Now he also said we had freedom of speech freedom of religion Congress shall make no law folks you got to understand it’s the Congress [unclear] supposed to make laws not the Supreme Court nor judges in a judicial system only Congress can make laws and we have fallen way away from that.

▶ 13:31 Freedom of religion freedom to bear arms and I told you why cuz we [unclear] abolish a destructive government now the 1800s come along God sends a second refreshing and the people rise up again and say the Bible is the final authority not pastors not the pope not the priests the Bible is the final authority how many agree the Bible is the final authority yes. Now all can be saved they didn’t say all will be saved universalism they said all can be saved non-Calvinism. [unclear] said people are selected to be saved people [unclear] selected to go to hell no anyone that calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be what saved. Amen. And so God brought back these restoration truths to the church in the 1800’s church attendance swelled.

▶ 14:31 Okay and see in America only 25 percent go to church they don’t understand. Paul said Timothy I don’t have anyone that really cares for your condition. People just conveniently go to church they don’t go to church to help others and to help the church and to promote the gospel the Bible says you should have the same care one for another Americans don’t care about other people they don’t go to church if they do go to church they want to see a music group or a singer or some athlete giving a testimony. 25% only go to church today in America. And the Bible says forsake not the assembling of yourselves together even the more so as you see the day approaching provoking one another to what love and the good works you come to encourage people to love and do what’s right is that just good common sense yeah.

▶ 15:39 All right. holiness was brought back from the Methodists [unclear] that was restored back here good deeds no immoral sex no homosexuality no incest no bestiality no fornication no adultery. No idols no lying no cheating no [unclear] disrespecting good parents no disrespecting seniors don’t drink don’t smoke don’t chew and don’t run with people that do. Was their motto all right and gambling don’t gamble they saw that these things were destroying society it was destroying people how many know we can see that you can you know something by its fruits drinking cause problems drugs cause problems gambling cause problems.

▶ 16:34 evangelism they went to the black slaves the Indians the widows and the orphans and thousands were won to Christ in the second awakening slavery was brought to the forefront the people said by God’s presence coming slavery is wrong God influenced this slavery movement are you there. Slaves are getting saved you know when you get saved you meet Christ you know there’s something wrong here I’m a slave and they’re a Christian and I’m a Christian and I’m you know accepting Christ enlightened you yeah and the same way with the Indians but I mean [unclear] tell you the Southern Baptist which is the biggest Protestant denomination in America was started because the Southern Baptist says slavery was okay.

▶ 17:28 Southern Methodists said the same thing Southern Presbyterians said the same thing they went along with the crowd the Southern Catholic church said the same thing I have a document written from the pope at that time to the Southern Catholic church approving of slavery. are you there isn’t that what America’s church is doing [unclear] just kind of going with the public opinion you know isn’t it yeah. Women. Before this women couldn’t get educated before this awakening women couldn’t work outside the home before this they couldn’t they couldn’t vote and when God came in the second awakening women the industrial revolution had started and women went to work outside the home women.

▶ 18:24 demanded a right to vote this is where it started [unclear] didn’t come about about 70 years later but this is when it started women had a right to own property they couldn’t own property before a right to have custody of their children from a horrible husband and a right to an education before that women weren’t allowed to get educated in high places are you there but God opened people’s eyes God came like he said he would. Isn’t that powerful this amazing book the Native American Indian were called heathen and savages but in this time thousands of them were won to Christ and even Indians went evangelizing Indians but they kept most of them their culture and this really bothers a lot of European ministers.

▶ 19:19 When I go to third world countries I see all the time they’re trying to westernize the people and call that. Mission work. Instead of converting them they are. Civilizing them if I can get them to put on clothes hallelujah. If I could get them to look like we looked hallelujah no we got to convert them they got to be changed they got to be repentant from their sin can that be an amen and if they still want to hunt and they still want to trap or whatever who cares. they want to wear their Indian clothes who cares. God came for the inner man not the outer man amen. and so these Indians they woke up and that’s what a lot of it if you do some serious reading led to them fighting for their rights just like the slaves once they got saved they got enlightened they stood up just like the Indians did and the Europeans just squashed them instead of letting them be part of the American way.

▶ 20:34 They just squashed them. second return regrets I told you that this second return started here a second coming [unclear] they predicted it it would happen in the 1840s people sold their property they quit their jobs because the numerology and the chart said he’s coming on a certain date and he didn’t come and people actually committed suicide thousands of people were deceived and we showed you Paul said don’t let anyone deceive you that the day of the Lord is at hand don’t let anyone deceive you about this in a minute return something has to be done before he comes back why didn’t he come yesterday because everything hasn’t been done. That makes sense make a real logical sense.

▶ 21:30 Republican party was born Republican party was born over slavery [unclear] free the slaves over women given women rights and over Indians being treated not like savages Republican party today isn’t the same Republican party that it was back there. it’s been infiltrated by these liberals. Are you there. Not like the Democratic party’s been [unclear] but there’s enough to mess up and that’s why Trump can’t get anything done with a Republican majority because there’s a lot of Republicans that are really liberals in disguise. All right is this helping all right now see God did this man didn’t do this God did this just like he said he would okay the first industrial revolution came now we know we’re living in the last days because God started restoring God started sending the times of refreshing and God said in the last days Daniel 12:4 knowledge shall be increased no one understood that who at that time could envision rockets going into outer space that

You say God did God did and all these people said he’s coming any minute he’s coming any day he’s gonna come here and they’re gonna come there they didn’t know their Bible knowledge first had to be increased and God started it in the 1800s and he still increasing knowledge in that true. All right. 1857 to 1907 third refreshing came just before the civil war broke out slaves were set free [unclear] the states were kept in unity we still remained a union and the Supreme Court by the way in the 1840s said that blacks were not human beings now does that sound like a supreme court that sounds like a humanist court.

▶ 24:05 if they had read their Declaration of Independence [unclear] would have read their preamble to the Constitution they would not have said that is that an amen and if they do read their Bible they would not have said that the Supreme Court is just people chosen to make decisions that are just human beings and they make them by what they feel is right. So in 1898 the Supreme Court [unclear] said okay the blacks are equal now they’re humans but they got to be separate can’t be around white folks. Okay. Evolution came now the liberals have a revival. liberals were really [unclear] in that second refreshing but now Darwin comes up with his book and the liberals are having a [unclear] a liberal rebirth they call themselves not only liberals now not only modernists not only humanists but we are free thinkers the definition of their free thinking is thinking without the Bible.

Okay and they come in with the social gospel socialism they introduced socialism they wanted big government they wanted to help the poor they wanted to help the widows and orphans but wanted they wanted government to do it. Are you there. So we have another apostasy. Missions the fundamentalist took the gospel to all nations literally for over a hundred years. Tremendous missionary work from the American church tremendous billions and billions of dollars a year went to win the lost in other nations. This is your fundamentalist the ones that stuck with the Bible all right.

▶ 26:21 Many more denominations came up Salvation Army sprang up Jehovah’s Witnesses and all the Mary Baker Eddy Christian Science [unclear] all this stuff every time they get a little enlightenment they start a new denomination and they start a new denomination without enlightenment and we’re doing it today all right. Healing. Came about in this revival. Missionary Alliance church started on the truth of healing got to start a new church got a new truth got to start a new church. and then the Holy Spirit was poured out on Azusa in California Los Angeles California and the emphasis was speaking in tongues they came it came from a teaching by Parham that the evidence of the Holy Spirit was speaking in tongues and so for decades.

▶ 27:21 Pentecostals emphasize you got to speak in tongues as the evidence of being filled with the spirit okay now. What they don’t tell you and I learned through a hard research and being involved in the nations and being involved with churches I want to remind you that I’ve preached in every denomination in America. now you find me a Protestant that has preached twice in a Catholic church. Okay they [unclear] have nothing to do with Catholics so I learn by mingling and I learn by going to the foreign field. And I learn. By experience these people from the Wales revival in Europe God came a young man I forgot his name and he took some young ladies from the church and they would go out in an open field and they would sing and he would preach and people would just weep.

▶ 28:29 Tears running down their eyes and repenting of their sin this happened at the same time. That God was moving in Azusa but God was doing the same thing at Azusa people were repenting and weeping and turning from their sin but everything pointed to Azusa as the tongues so it covers up Azusa people were healed [unclear] physical healings going on [unclear] they embraced that truth of healing and in Korea a bunch of Presbyterians a bunch of Presbyterians were meeting on a New Year’s Eve service and God came down from heaven and birthed spiritual praying I will pray with the understanding and I will pray with the spirit.

▶ 29:26 birthed it in them I got to experience it when I visited Korea they’re still praying in the spirit today. And because I had this knowledge the group that went with us [unclear] these Koreans to pray quietly and I said don’t you bother these Koreans God did this in 1907. God birthed it in them and you don’t have a right to tell them to pray like you pray could that be an amen. And I tell you it’s a beautiful experience [unclear] these people pray and they get in the spirit and it’s a real prayer time all right all this happened at the same time but see at Azusa that black pastor with one eye.

▶ 30:20 He never preached hardly at all he would get up put his head in this [unclear] crate and begin to pray and God would begin to move so Azusa had the prayer they had the repentance and they had the baptism of Holy Ghost with some people speaking in tongues not everyone spoke in tongues are you there and there was divine healing going on and all these only lasted a couple of years why because men know how to ruin everything God does we got to get organized now and we got the imitators [unclear] you know if I can do that I can do that I’ll go out haven’t you know you got to be called you got to be gifted and you got to accept who you are amen. Now.

▶ 31:13 here is where the problem arose the Pentecostals divided quickly to the [unclear] Church of God Pentecostal Holiness Pentecostal Holiness Church of God Pentecostal Holiness [unclear] Pentecostal this Pentecostal that we got a zillion Pentecostal churches sprung up overnight okay and this is what happened. When the presence of God come they would go into convulsions instead of listening to the word of God. hey I got saved under Pentecostal church I know what I’m talking about all right. Pentecostals are not bad people but they can be eccentric. And if you’re laughing at it you fundamentalists can be eccentric.

▶ 32:12 you’re gonna be [unclear] dead as a doornail and say you’re great are you there are you there oh. [unclear] the snakes oh. these signs shall follow them that believe they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing so they started drinking poison they started picking up snakes oh yeah yeah yeah yeah. Show me one place in the Bible where they picked up snakes. you could take one verse and do that. The apostles never went around taking up snakes to prove that they had the faith they never drank poison to show people they had the faith did they no.

Ichabod is over this place the glory has departed. and they [unclear] the writing spiritual writing who’s never heard of [unclear] I’ll bet you. you guys just don’t get around do you I got a word for you I got a word God gave me a word for you my gosh I got a Bible. Am I so dense that I can’t read the Bible and get a word from God I need you to give me a word from God and word would be oh you’re going through hard times and hey you’re frustrated but God’s gonna bring [unclear] what kind of word is that everybody goes through hard times isn’t that right.

▶ 33:59 You guys you should have got around like I did. slain in the spirit was popularized by Aimee [unclear] McPherson and Kathryn Kuhlman and it’s just not in the Bible. These two women popularized that have you even heard of Kathryn Kuhlman oh. yeah [unclear] what do you guys read the comic books. And then. Holiness came back they these guys holiness. Listen to this I got it quoted right from their leaders all right are you ready for this.

▶ 34:56 women cause men to commit adultery I got it right from them. Therefore women should not wear makeup should not style their hair should show no skin. no jewelry and no pants I don’t know where they got that in the Bible pants weren’t even invented in the Bible days women can’t wear pants. Shame on you you got pants on. Are you there that’s the new holiness [unclear] to wear long sleeve shirts or whatever come on folks that holiness in that second awakening of doing right doing good keeping the ten commandments and these things that’s holiness [unclear] you can’t dye your hair you can’t cut your hair and you can’t do you do anything with your hair and let me tell you this and this is what I tell these people I said have you ever read in the Bible that there’s fruits of the spirit oh yeah yeah I said you believe in the fruits of the spirit oh yeah yeah I said well one of the fruits is [unclear] called self-control.

▶ 36:23 Us men can’t control ourselves as Christian men. You women gotta look ugly so us men won’t lose self-control come on are you there. Alleluia. Are you learning something. Yes I’ve been in hot debates with people all right that truth will set you free. The Jesus only movement started then. now baptize in Jesus name only like God don’t know who he is like God don’t know he’s God he don’t know he’s the Holy Ghost and he knows he’s Jesus. Men get involved and mess up everything okay and so there’s a falling away here the liberals in 1930 wrote an article and says we are going to take the battle to the schools they wrote a manifesto in

▶ 37:30 1933 and sure enough. 23% of Americans are liberals and they controlled 92% of education institutions and they are teaching your kids. Their philosophy are you there. And the church is asleep one of the big problems about Pentecostalism if we want to feel good Holy Ghost ha ha hallelujah. We don’t want to learn we want to feel good. we [unclear] get high in the spirit and we don’t want to learn and how [unclear] the ministry of the Holy Ghost is to teach you all truth yes.

▶ 38:25 Who convicts of sin righteousness and the judgment to come the Holy Ghost. How do we obtain spiritual things. By the spirit the spirits got to do it are you there and yes it feels good when the presence of God comes with folks he comes to teach you. Amen. Alleluia. Second coming regrets second industrial revolution they’re still in this second coming any minute thing and the Jews haven’t even been restored back to their homeland yet if they would have just knew this that the Jews had to be returned back to their homeland before Christ could come they wouldn’t have been predicting his second coming would they.

Another sign that we’re living in the last days. but it doesn’t mean Christ can come in a minute it’s just one of the things that we know this is the end days is that correct yeah so this lasted from 48 to 80s a fellow by the name of William Branham rose up in 1946 and let me tell you he had an ability that just amazed me. All right no one had to tell him what their sickness was he would tell them. Wow they called it the word of knowledge I call it the [unclear] of revelation where the knowledge is knowing something Revelation is not knowing something and it’s uncovered and he was accurate I mean this guy was accurate.

▶ 40:31 For a few years this guy just blew the Christian world oh what. are you there now you always have your mimickers you know your imitators and sure enough as quick as they saw Branham doing this oh. America was flooded with people oh I see [unclear] they weren’t seeing anything this guy really had the goods are you there but what did I tell you about a prophet you know them by the message. Okay he predicted Christ would come in 1977 did he no you see having a spiritual gift in 1st Corinthians 13 though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not love I’m just sounding brass and a tinkling [unclear] though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries.

▶ 41:42 And have not love so you can have a gift and not have love and love is better than a spiritual gift and if he would have just stayed in his spiritual gift and kept his mouth shut he would have been wise. but he tried to teach the Bible [unclear] he had Eve having sex with Cain I mean with the Devil to produce Cain [unclear] that’s crazy are you there. Graham Billy Graham came up in 1947 an evangelical [unclear] evangelicals believe that we should flow together in spite of our differences and that’s what I believe they also believe in the baptism of Holy Ghost with empowerment that’s exactly what I believe I happen to speak in tongues when I got filled with the Holy Ghost if I hadn’t spoken in tongues I’d have still been filled with the Holy Ghost you understand that because it was a baptism of love.

▶ 42:51 You say. so Billy Graham predicted Christ would come in 1952. You didn’t know that did you see I lived through this stuff I know what I’m talking about and you need to know so that we can avoid these problems could that be an amen is Billy Graham a good man yes he just got overly excited about the second return like everybody is and then after that he said it’s going to come in my lifetime did Christ come in Billy Graham’s lifetime no he was wrong does that make him a false prophet no he preached a good gospel he just got hung up on the second coming like most of the ministers in the Protestant world [unclear] the Catholic church is the only one [unclear] caught up with this second coming stuff I mean you know what the Catholics say about the second coming.

Okay that means there’s no millennium. no seven year period of tribulation and all that Christ is just going to come when he comes don’t have to be looking for a millennium don’t have to be looking for seven years of tribulation and the Catholic church has been more close to right than all the other Protestant churches. Are you there. Oral Roberts an Indian half Indian anyway had a stuttering [unclear] problem and had tuberculosis tb and his brother took him to a church service that God prayed for him and lo and behold God healed Oral Roberts of TB I mean this guy was wasted away his brother had to literally carry him in to the service he was that sick and he stuttered and bam just like that God healed him and a guy that prayed for him was a nobody.

▶ 45:18 it’s just God decided to heal Oral Roberts are you there and to bring him into the ministry and Oral Roberts started his ministry he was a pentecostal and he said Jesus is coming soon Jesus is coming soon did he come soon no he didn’t then you got the Latter Rain people the Latter Rain people started in an outpouring of God in Canada they didn’t call themselves Latter Rain they never put any titles on them they didn’t believe in making a new denomination or anything like that in fact they didn’t believe in advertising or promoting. what God was doing in their midst it had to literally go about word-of-mouth and this movement spread all over the world okay a church [unclear] when I was in Detroit one of these churches that this spirit fell upon this movement

▶ 46:14 they were meeting in a storefront and they built a two thousand seat auditorium before mega churches were ever heard of this church built a two thousand [unclear] they felt God wanted them to build a big building and they built a two thousand seat auditorium. No advertisement the Sunday they opened it up the place was overflowing and God’s presence came down they sung the song of the Lord oh. People were healed people were filled with the Holy Ghost people were saved in that service without any preaching. Are you there. The guy got up to open the service the pastor’s son and [unclear] to open the service with worship and singing and before they could even get the first song God just come down and the people started singing [unclear] they just [unclear] whole 2,000 people.

Hallelujah. they believed that Christ would not come till all things restored and that’s what I believe it’s right there plain everything has to be restored isn’t that right and all the refreshings have to come I don’t know how many there are. But God’s gonna keep refreshing his people all right but they thought that their generation was going to usher in the second coming and they’re all dead. Percy Crawford was a fundamentalist. 1949 he was the first minister to get on tv he was out to [unclear] did a great job of reaching the youth for Christ and in those days great I was a young person and [unclear] knew Percy Crawford alright he was out to reach young people and he did a good job of it but he believed the second coming was any minute.

▶ 48:33 It’s important that you remember In God We Trust was put on our money in the early 50s and this awakening are you there most people I know think it was put on way back there at the Constitution nope Congress voted to put it on the money in the [unclear] early 50s one nation under God in our pledge was put in the pledge of allegiance in the 50s from this move of God you understand God said that these refreshings will come from the presence of the Lord he didn’t ask people’s permission he just comes and he works and he influenced Congress to do these things and I live during this time. Equal but separate was vetoed in the early 50s this awakening was vetoed.

▶ 49:32 but here’s the problem Branham Graham Roberts Latter Rain and Crawford all said this your faith. Do you have faith to be healed do you have faith to be saved if you have faith to be saved you’ve got faith to be healed then you’ll be healed and you’ll be saved and what did it do people start putting their faith in faith. Instead of faith in the gospel and a faith in Jesus. And it’s still with us today. Just letting you think on that. And people would actually try to muster up faith.

▶ 50:29 If you have faith you don’t need a doctor and you don’t need medicine and children died every year from parents putting their faith in their faith for God to heal their child and not get a doctor and these kids died every year are you there how many we know Jesus said they that are sick need a physician. Jesus said that. And you can have all the faith in the world was Paul’s thorn in the flesh removed no it was not. [unclear] it’s okay if God doesn’t do it I mean it’s okay if God does do it and if he doesn’t do it it’s still okay he’s God amen and I got to keep my faith in him not faith in my faith amen.

▶ 51:26 and then you had the seed faith come along Oral Roberts really promoted this it was another guy before him that did it but Oral Roberts picked it up if you give to God he will give back pressed down shaken together and running over [unclear] people will give back to you everybody’s going to be a millionaire you give to my ministry and God’s gonna give to you and every Christian gonna be [unclear]. [unclear] then widows went home and starved by putting their check in that offering bucket and when I saw that it really bugged me that these ministers would take a widow’s. Social Security check and not give it back getting them worked up I went [unclear] right up to him I said listen that lady sitting right beside me she gave her pension [unclear] I watched her she gave her Social Security check signed it [unclear] are you guys gonna keep that are you gonna give it back to her oh [unclear] provide oh my gosh I wanted to smack him upside the head [unclear] you know God only asked for 10% he didn’t ask for everything did he 10% that’s it if you give him anything more [unclear] that’s your choice a

▶ 52:46 lot of us can’t even trust God with 10%. And that’s sad. So. That started the prosperity movement and it’s still with us today you give to their ministry and they show it by [unclear] driving Rolls Royces and living in mansions and everything else and the dumb Christians in America feed them they enable them to do that are you with me and then you got to have a positive confession you can’t say you’re sick that’s a negative confession you can’t get healed if you say you’re sick you got it if you got cancer don’t say you got cancer if you’re blind don’t say you’re blind that’s a negative confession you’ve got to have positive confession I’m healed I’m healed and you ain’t healed.

▶ 53:42 Are you there. This is what I grew up with and I had to work hard to keep in the mainstream. Because there’s so much junk in God’s river that you have to work hard reading that Bible and seeking God to stay in the mainstream of God. And you’re not popular when you don’t go along with what’s popular. Yeah. and then positive thinking came in Norman Vincent Peale that was Trump’s pastor [unclear] is a Presbyterian he listened to Norman Vincent Peale if you think you can you can if you think you got it [unclear] that’s very unscriptural.

Trump by the way got saved a year and a half before he ran for president and when he got saved he changed parties see I told you getting saved changed the Indians’ mentality [unclear] the slaves’ mentality it changed the colonists mentality when God moves it changes you [unclear] and yeah he’s still a baby Christian yeah he still says things I wished he wouldn’t say but I am glad for his politics. Purpose Driven Rick Warren Purpose Driven listen I could have wrote his book in one verse.

▶ 55:35 fear God and keep his commandments is the whole duty of man that’s your purpose one verse he made [unclear] millions of dollars writing a book about your purpose when it’s in one verse in the Bible are you there and when I run into these people that’s hung up on the purpose-driven I explained to them and [unclear] that easy I can remember a teenager you know I’ve read this book and I’m still confused I said well you’re confused because you don’t really know what your real purpose is and I took him to that verse in Ecclesiastes and he just bam was free just like that are you there we don’t have to pay 20 bucks for a book when that Bible that costs 35 bucks will tell us.

▶ 56:33 Oh yeah. We’re making ministers rich and we’re staying dumb could that be true. now prophecy. [unclear] everybody’s prophesying. Mainly about the second coming the end time about the Middle East so many prophecies when I grew up in church they were prophesying that Russia was going to come down and surround because of the book of Ezekiel and surround God’s people and and God’s going to annihilate Russians. [unclear] heard that message. Where are you people I’m thankful I’m glad you’re not listening to that junk [unclear] all right God just simply came to me by the Holy Ghost and said son would I be a just God if I killed a whole nation because of their government.

▶ 57:35 and I go no way [unclear] that’s not justice at all are you there he said well that’s not going to happen. Are you there. poverty we have this thing about poverty I grew up [unclear] I thank God I grew up poor growing up poor it’s not a curse if you got a good home a good family which I had I didn’t even know we were poor until I was an adult then I understood I was poor because we had love in the home and we enjoyed things that we could afford to enjoy I didn’t have a new bike [unclear] I didn’t have an old bike I didn’t know I was missing anything all right I never had designer clothes and designer jeans I had shirts made from feed sacks that we fed the pigs with.

▶ 58:35 Yeah. Yeah right. But I had a good home I didn’t know we were poor. we had cornbread beans every night I didn’t know there was any other meal. That’s exaggerating a little I did yeah. Jesus said the poor will be with you always. And then that third awakening. There was a second awakening when they were going to stamp out poverty you see [unclear] Johnson wasn’t the one [unclear] initiated that they initiated that back there in that second. Awakening that social gospel that third awakening I’m sorry yeah see they’re going to stamp out poverty did that no government can’t do it church can’t do it the poor will always be with you we got to teach the poor my dad hoed corn for 50 cents a day to put bread on the table for his family my dad refused to take handouts I mean you know that teaches you something when your dad says uh-uh I got to make this on [unclear] you learn I got to make a life on [unclear].

Amen church all right. 1960s the Holy Spirit was poured out [unclear] all denominations this is where I was preaching in juvenile halls jails prisons on a street corner you name it I was out there preaching the gospel and I got to meet these people the pentecostals thought everybody had to come to them to get filled with the Holy Ghost and God just came and started with the Episcopalian church and moved right through the denominations and then 68 he poured out his spirit on the Catholic church and they spoke in tongues and they made all the mistakes that the Pentecostals made are you there they called themselves charismatic all right and during this season God is out of the schools evolution is in the schools God is dead the pill came the sexual revolution arose and then the hippies came on the scene with sex drugs and rock and roll man down with the establishment.

Music groups witnessing communes and then abortion came in the 70s all right they were called the Jesus people and I had to deal with a lot of that Jesus people nonsense communes [unclear] took me to a restaurant where these people were dressed weird and I haven’t been in contact with him for a while the way they wear their hair the way they wore their clothes I knew these people couldn’t put my finger on it while they went in to be seated I started doing my research I read their literature and then I figured it out these are the hippies left over from the Jesus people movement and they’re saying they’re working there in that restaurant for free when they’re not there living in a commune and everybody pools their money.

Are you there. and I didn’t even bother after I witnessed to him personally when I got back with [unclear] [unclear] even bother talking to them about God because I already knew they weren’t going to change they’re wanting to change us and [unclear] communal living is not Bible can I hear an amen. second advent predictions failures been all over David Wilkerson [unclear] Ralph Wilkerson [unclear] Chuck Smith all of them predicted a day or an hour or a year [unclear] no man knows I mean don’t we get it no man knows.

▶ 1:04:09 So I showed you all this that we can be fighting against God remember Acts 5:38 if it’s of man it will come to naught but if it’s of God and you oppose it you’ll be fighting against God how many don’t want to fight against God why do we fight against God because the people and the rulers did not know God nor the prophets words the scriptures read and spoken every Sabbath and they killed Jesus they killed Jesus because they didn’t know God and they didn’t know the Bible [unclear] how many want to know God and know the Bible yes. Yes now I want to show you something very important now please listen I’ve kept it for a long time but this is important even though we are in an apostate period apostasy period a falling away period and we’ve seen several of them and we’ve seen the catholics and the orthodox church continue many of them right on they never even converted in any of these refreshings are you there.

▶ 1:05:16 Daniel chapter 11 verse 32 is about the end time if you know your Bible alright and this is what he says the people that know God down here it says the people and the rulers did not know God and they oppose God but here it says the people that know God shall be what strong and do exploits great accomplishments and the end days are you there are you hearing this all right now let’s continue they that understand is there people that understand yes I had to search them out when I came through this visitation I had to go looking I read books I did everything trying to find people that really knew the word and I found three teachers that could shoot the bull’s eye all the rest of them had a machine gun [unclear] and they hope that if they set enough words that something would hit the mark but these guys could take a subject and they could nail it and you left with clarity and possessing that truth but I had to find them it costs me money to buy books it cost me money to buy tapes it cost me time to listen and go that guy’s worthless [unclear] yes

▶ 1:06:47 this guy’s got it he’s connected and I wanted to be connected are you with me there are people that know God and are strong people in the midst of apostasy. How many want to be that kind of people yes we don’t have to we don’t have to be the other way and they with understanding among the people shall instruct what many instruct them to what understand. So that we don’t oppose God. Amen. The time of the end is what an appointed time if it’s an appointed time how can it be in a minute. it can’t happen till the appointed set time does that make sense but we hear things over and over and over and over we just believe them and then we oppose God God isn’t planning on coming but man we’re looking for it today.

Isn’t this powerful I want to be a church a church among the people that have understanding to teach other people understanding amen you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free people are destroyed for lack of faith no grace no [unclear] my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. And this was the big error in the pentecostal circles we wanted to feel God but we didn’t want to be taught by God we don’t want to get [unclear] in our home and open that book up and open a dictionary up and say God teach me we want to just come in and [unclear] the presence of the Lord.

The appointed time all written in the book will be delivered what books he talking about the book of life is your name in the book of life they will be delivered they will escape. there will be a resurrection to eternal life or shame and contempt one resurrection. Dealing with both people not two resurrections. One resurrection.

▶ 1:09:48 That’s the end time and these people before he comes they have understandings they know God and they’re teaching other people. Amen and shouldn’t we care about those that are wrapped up in apostasy. That we get the word out to them see much is given much is required and it’s a responsibility of this church to get this word out or anyone preach another gospel let him be accursed let him be excommunicated. Hallelujah do we need to stick with the gospel of Christ the gospel of the apostles the gospel of the prophets of the scriptures not prophets today not apostles today the scripture prophets the scripture apostles and especially the prophet Jesus Jesus shined more light on truth than anyone before him. And especially the second coming and we get wrapped up in Daniel we get wrapped up in Revelation and Jesus gave us plain instructions about the end days.
