After worship and a word of prophecy about the power of God’s word, the message contrasts the beast of Revelation 13, whom the world worships, with how big God is. God looks on the humble who tremble at His word, holds all things together, and has set His King on Zion; Psalm 2 calls kings, judges and every parent to serve the Lord with fear and kiss the Son.

What is the beast in Revelation 13?

▶ Watch this part (37:05)

Short answer: The dragon gives the beast power and they worship it, saying who is like the beast; he says it will probably be a group of people, since we already worship ourselves.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Unidentified speaker (not clearly Pastor Kincer)

▶ 37:05 Please Jesus we pray that we would lean on your word. God and we pray Lord that you would be with your word we thank you Lord Jesus please your precious name we thank. You thank you for joining us this morning having a good time time praising and lifting up the name of Jesus and uh it was impressed upon my heart of how big God is and how great God is yes and um it’s so important for us to understand that no matter what enemy rises they’re nothing in comparison to God and God may seem like uh he may act like he’s a little a little guy you know he’s letting them run over him and uh profane his name mock him but God is is is huge he’s immense he is.

▶ 38:10 Great and uh it’s important to understand it’s important to understand. That in the scriptures in Revelations 13 it says I saw the beast rising up out of the sea the dragon gave him his power is throne in authority they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast and they worshiped the beast saying who is like the beast who is able to make war with him and so here we have an enemy or the beast is rearing his head and he’s uh coming against the people of God and we have the the world following this beast in Daniel the beasts represented uh empires Babylonian Persian greek and roman empires when it talked about these beasts so it’s probably most likely the same kind of thing a people a government or leaders having to do with uh this beast.

▶ 39:08 Here and so we’re not going to be seeing a little a literal beast coming out of the ocean it’ll probably be a a group of people rising up and worshiping uh and it’s not hard to connect the dots right we’re already worship we already worship ourselves today it’s it’s obvious and uh at the end their last statement is who is like the beast who is able to make war with him and that sums up the the arrogance that the worshippers of uh people have that will. Have uh Satan. Now is being uh brought out in these pride marches and Satan respects my pronouns and uh they’re not hiding things anymore they’re bringing them right out to the forefront.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 13:1-4 (NKJV)

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

— Revelation 13:1-4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 38:10

Who speaks against God today?

▶ Watch this part (40:03)

Short answer: The beast was given a mouth speaking blasphemies; people in our country and the world speak against God, and with everyone connected the world’s message spreads, so we must get the kingdom’s message out.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Unidentified speaker (not clearly Pastor Kincer)

▶ 40:03 And so we understand that there is an enemy at work there’s an enemy at work in the world in this beast he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies he opened his mouth and blasphemy against God to blaspheme his name his tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven and we have people in our country and throughout the world that are speaking against God and speaking against his people it was granted to him to make war with the saints to overcome them and authority was given him over every tribe tongue and nation all who dwell on the earth will worship him whose names have not been written in the book of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world so it’s very important if you’re part of the world you got to understand if you’re worshiping the leaders of the world or or anyone that’s not God you got a problem um and also from our end the the the world or this beast this empire whatever it is going to make war with the saints and there is a war of the word going on with the saints amen there is an opposition a great opposition uh through all these technological advances and and social media and everything the word is just spreading uh everybody’s words are spreading fast wasn’t like it used to be when you know we had phones and internet

▶ 41:33 was just starting now everything everyone is connected all the time getting the message seeing the videos of of their pride and you know and everybody can see them if if it spreads people share. It so the the message of the world is getting out and we’ve got to get the message of the kingdom out as Christians. So we shouldn’t be surprised and you know this this Revelation is is saying don’t be surprised when you see the world uniting for sin when you see the world uniting for crimes against God don’t be surprised. Uh and we can’t just say that our names are written in the lamb’s book of life and just let the beast go by we have to realize a few things in Isaiah chapter 66 verse one the heaven is my throne the earth is my foot stol where is the house that you will build unto me where is the place of my rest where is the house you will build to me uh I’m sorry repeated that for all those things my hand has made and all those things ex.

Short answer: No; movies show gods getting killed, but it’s baloney. His hand made all things; shooting a missile at Jesus on a white horse is foolish.

▶ 42:43 Exist uh Hollywood tries to make a a view of God tries to tries to set up you know what God is like and how you know uh they they always try to also showing these movies that you can defeat this God and whatnot um if you’ve if you’ve seen any of these movies they have gods that get killed and all that and it’s a bunch of baloney first of all those aren’t real gods and the God that we serve he’s a big God he’s a big God there’s no coming against God you can come against him but when he decides to uh oppose you you better watch out God is a big.

▶ 43:30 God and the world may think that they’re going to defeat God with technology or some weapon but you got to remember he says my hand has made all of these things you know can you imagine Jesus coming out coming down out of the sky on his white horse he’s got angels behind him and then people are like oh get a missile shoot a missile at it nuclear warhead send it they send their nuclear warheads and Jesus he just unpacks them right he sends them up into the atmosphere he just makes them disappear disintegrate you’re like I made all this stuff I made the metal I made atoms I made everything what are you what are you going to throw at. ▶ 49:04 Jesus we know how big our God is and yet the enemy seems to be advancing we don’t I don’t like that I don’t like seeing. That. Amen but it’s going to take some patience on our part and not just patience as we’ll talk about here. Count it all joy James chapter 1:2 when you fall into trials various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience but let patience have its perfect work that you may be perfect and complete lacking. Nothing when God it says when he’s on his throne heaven is his throne earth is his foot stol he looks down and he tries he proves the hearts of men he looks down on us and he is is working on us for our good.

▶ 50:01 Like metal when metal is put into the fire when it’s purified it’s brought out and it has to be tempered it has to be hit it has to be formed and it has to be uh treatment has to be. Done and God is doing that with his people. When you go through difficult things and trials God is doing something great in your life patience let patience have its perfect work that you may be perfect complete lacking nothing does that mean we give up that mean does that mean we stop sharing the word does that mean we stop building the kingdom. No amen you keep sharing the word go ye into all nations make disciples of all nations baptizing them teaching them everything I commanded you behold I am with you all authority has been given un me you don’t.
