From the sermonSix of Seven Seals — Part 3 · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

In this third message on six of the seven seals, Pastor David G. Kincer finishes the sixth seal, connecting it to Joel in Acts 2:16, Matthew 24:29 and Isaiah 34:4. He then previews the seventh seal with the sealing of God’s servants in Revelation 7, teaches that believers are sealed by the Holy Spirit, and gives reasons for a delay in the second coming: the martyr number, the sealing, and the great harvest of the multitude no one could count.

What does he say the sixth seal does to the earth, and why does everyone hide? (Revelation 6:14-17)

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: He says, “Every mountain and island was dislodged, removed out of its place,” and ties it to the Bible’s promise that “He’s going to renovate the earth.” He says “everybody’s hiding. Why? They see Him.” He then challenges the rapture idea: “These people that say, you know, Jesus comes and raptures the church and people are wondering what happened. Well, good grief, even in your theory the graves were open and they’re wondering what happened.”

▶ 0:00 Every mountain and island was dislodged, removed out of its place. Hawaii is at the Antarctica, Tahiti is in the Arctic, everything’s moved around. Boy, that sure messes up the evolution science theories. Huh? Mount St. Helens is in the ocean now, we don’t know where it is, it’s removed, it’s moved. There’s a drastic change here, isn’t that right? All right, which the Bible talks about, He’s going to renovate the earth. Okay, all hid from Him on the throne and the wrath of the Lamb. Everybody’s hiding. Why? They see Him. These people that say, you know, Jesus comes and raptures the church and people are wondering what happened. Well, good grief, even in your theory the graves were open and they’re wondering what happened.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 6:14-17 (NKJV)

Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

— Revelation 6:14-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:42

Has the great day of His wrath already happened? (Revelation 6:16-17)

▶ Watch this part (2:03)

Short answer: He says the people hide “Because they’re seeing Him. They’re afraid, they know they’ve messed up.” He asks about “the great day of His wrath” and who can stand, and says the verse is “talking about a day when it will happen,” so as with the conquering, slaughter, famines and plagues, “this is a promise of something going to happen. It hasn’t happened yet.” He says he will show why next week “when we get to the seven trumpets and the seven bowls.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 2:03 Why? Because they’re seeing Him. They’re afraid, they know they’ve messed up. “For the great day of His wrath has” what? The great day of His wrath is what? Come, “and who is able to stand?” Before the day of His wrath, and stand before Jesus Christ. Now, according to this verse, it has what? Happened. But we know these statements were made throughout the Bible, and it hasn’t happened, it’s talking about a day when it will happen. Amen. And I submit to you, just like the conquering and the slaughtering of men and the famines and the plagues and all that are happening, will happen, that this is a promise of something going to happen. It hasn’t happened yet, and I’m going to prove it to you next week why it hasn’t happened when we get to the seven trumpets and the seven bowls.

What do Acts 2:16 and Joel say about the last days? (Acts 2:16-21; Joel 2:28-32)

▶ Watch this part (3:13)

Short answer: He reads Acts 2:16, “This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel,” and says it was “addressed before” on Pentecost when “they spoke the wonderful works of God.” He reads Joel’s words, including “The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and notable day of the Lord.” He says, “He is saving people to the day He comes. Prophesying and preaching the Word of God is going to happen to the day He comes.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:13 Fair enough, it’s just simple. Acts 2:16, “This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel.” Are you with me? See, this has been addressed before. On the day of Pentecost the Holy Ghost moved, and they spoke the wonderful works of God, they spoke in languages, and they were filled with power and everything else.

▶ 3:36 And the Bible says this is what the prophet Joel prophesied: “It will come to pass in the last days that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. On My servants and on My handmaidens I’ll pour out My Spirit, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heaven above, signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire, and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and notable day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the Lord shall be” what? Saved. Folks, He is saving people to the day He comes. Prophesying and preaching the Word of God is going to happen to the day He comes. Amen.

Acts 2:16-21 (NKJV)

But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. What does he say about a seven-year tribulation? (Matthew 24:29)

▶ Watch this part (4:30)

Short answer: He says good and powerful things go on “till the day He comes. But we turn this into some kind of great seven-year tribulation period, which is ridiculous nonsense.” He says, “Nowhere in the Bible does it say there’s seven years of tribulation, nowhere. They have to manufacture it out of Daniel.” He reads Matthew 24:29 and says, “Immediately after what? The great tribulation, these things are going to happen, along with the prophesying and the preaching.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:30 Aren’t you glad good things are going on until the day He comes? Powerful things are going on till the day He comes. But we turn this into some kind of great seven-year tribulation period, which is ridiculous nonsense. Are you with me? Nowhere in the Bible does it say there’s seven years of tribulation, nowhere. They have to manufacture it out of Daniel. Hallelujah. Jesus spoke the same thing in Matthew 24:29: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be” what? Shaken. Immediately after what? The great tribulation, these things are going to happen, along with the prophesying and the preaching and great things happening, God doing great things in the earth.

What does Isaiah 34:4 add, and what does he say about the seals being thousand-year periods? (Isaiah 34:4; 2 Peter 3:10)

▶ Watch this part (5:54)

Short answer: He reads Isaiah 34:4 and says, “it was Isaiah spoke it way before John said it,” and “it is something that’s going to happen, it didn’t happen.” He criticizes a timeline that “starts with the first seal”: “The Bible doesn’t say each seal is a thousand-year period. The Bible says this seal is about a book proclaiming the day of wrath, ain’t that right? A one-time period.” He reads 2 Peter 3:10 and says, “It’s not happened yet, but will happen in the future.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 5:54 Isaiah 34:4: “All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll, and all their host shall fall down as the leaf falls from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.” See, it was Isaiah spoke it way before John said it. Are you with me? It is something that’s going to happen, it didn’t happen. Here is my point, do you get it? Because they got a timeline, and this timeline starts with the first seal, and they got an Antichrist, you know, the [unclear] have the seven seals as seven 1,000-year periods. We get so ridiculous.

▶ 6:38 The Bible doesn’t say each seal is a thousand-year period. The Bible says this seal is about a book proclaiming the day of wrath, ain’t that right? A one-time period. 2 Peter 3:10: “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be” what? Burned up. Just as many other Scriptures talk of something coming to pass ahead of us, so is John. It’s not happened yet, but will happen in the future. Okay, I’m going to save this for next week.

Scripture (NKJV)

Isaiah 34:4 (NKJV)

What does he say about a rebuilt temple, and how does he introduce the seventh seal? (Acts 7:48; Revelation 7:3)

▶ Watch this part (7:31)

Short answer: He says of a built temple, “the Bible plainly says God doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, and yet they got to have a temple built because it’s got to fit into their theory.” He introduces the seventh seal: “This is the last one, and the last one is a long one, as we will see next week.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:31 This is their chart. They got to have a temple built, and the Bible plainly says God doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, and yet they got to have a temple built because it’s got to fit into their theory. All right. Okay. Now we come to the seventh seal. How many seals are there? Seven. This is the last one, and the last one is a long one, as we will see next week. All right, previews of coming attractions. Revelation 7:3, the seventh seal is coming, but before the seventh seal comes, he says,

What does the sealing of God’s servants before any harm mean? (Revelation 7:1-3; Ezekiel 9:4-6)

▶ Watch this part (8:28)

Short answer: He reads that no harm is to be done to the earth, the sea or the trees “until we have sealed the bond servants of our God on their forehead,” and says, “you never hear preaching on that. It’s always 666.” He says God says to “delay everything until I’m done sealing My people.” He connects it to Ezekiel 9:4-6: “Put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 8:28 “Don’t harm the earth, the sea, nor the trees until we have sealed the bond servants of our God on their forehead.” Don’t do any destruction until the people of God are sealed by God. Now, you never hear preaching on that. It’s always 666, can’t buy and sell, 666, number of men, tick, tick, tick. We think Revelation was a revelation of 666. Well, here God seals His people, and He says delay everything. Say it: delay everything until I’m done sealing My people. Woo, woo.

▶ 9:35 “After this I saw four angels stationed at the four corners of the earth, firmly holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind could blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw a second angel coming up from the east, carrying a seal of the living God, and with a loud voice he cried out to the four angels who had been given authority and power to hurt the earth and the sea.” And he says, “Don’t you hurt anything till we have sealed the bond servants of our God in their foreheads.” Ezekiel 9:4-6, Ezekiel saw it: “Put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done in My temple.” And to the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill, and do not let your eyes spare nor have any pity. Utterly slay all the young men and the maidens and the little children and the women. Do not come near anyone on whom is the mark of God.”

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 7:1-3 (NKJV)

After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

What does it mean to be sealed by God, and does he say believers must be raptured out of tribulation? (Ephesians 1:13; 2 Corinthians 1:22)

▶ Watch this part (10:43)

Short answer: He says, “if God has given me a seal, I don’t have to be raptured out of the tribulation period. Man, I can handle it. Why? He’s sealed me.” He reads Ephesians 1:13 and 2 Corinthians 1:22, that we are sealed and given the Spirit “as a guarantee,” a guarantee “that He will finish the good work He’s begun in us.” He says, “as long as I serve Him and seek Him, He’s going to get me there, and I don’t have to worry about my flaws now and my weaknesses and my problems now.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 10:43 Are you there? Now, if God has given me a seal, I don’t have to be raptured out of the tribulation period. Man, I can handle it. Why? He’s sealed me. Amen. Ephesians 1:13 says you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. 2 Corinthians 1:22: “You also He has sealed and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee,” a guarantee of what? That He will finish the good work He’s begun in us. Jeez, when I heard that, when God opened that to me as a young Christian, I just exploded.

▶ 11:40 You’re looking at me like, so what? He guarantees me He will get me to my destiny. Now, folks, that takes it out of my hands. As long as I serve Him and seek Him, He’s going to get me there, and I don’t have to worry about my flaws now and my weaknesses and my problems now. He will heal those problems, get me out of those problems, and He will get me to the goal, because He guarantees that it’s His seal to me, and it’s that Holy Spirit that witnesses it in me.

Why does he say there is a delay in the second coming, and what is “the mark of God”?

▶ Watch this part (12:12)

Short answer: He says “there are multitudes in this world that God wants to save and seal,” so there is a delay: “He is out to win people to Himself and seal them.” He says, “The real focus is on the mark of God, not the mark of the beast,” and “with the mark of God, nothing can touch me.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 12:12 Amen. So I can serve my God with all the zeal and the fortitude that I have in me. And just like the martyrs, He hadn’t finished the martyrs yet, and, you know, hasn’t finished sealing God’s people yet. There are multitudes in this world that God wants to save and seal. Could that be an amen? So there’s a delay. There’s the delay of this stuff, the heavens rolled back like a scroll and the moon turned to blood and the sun going down and all that. There’s a delay. Why? He is out to win people to Himself and seal them. Man, that’s good stuff. And so this second coming is a powerful thing, very powerful. The real focus is on the mark of God, not the mark of the beast. Can I hear an amen? With the mark of God, nothing can touch me, and without it, huh, I’m worthless.

What reasons for the delay does he give, and what is the great harvest? (Revelation 7:9)

▶ Watch this part (13:24)

Short answer: He says, “First we find the delay because of the martyr quota hasn’t been reached. Second, we find there’s a delay because the saints of God have got to be sealed.” He gives another reason: “Remember I keep telling you that there’s going to be a great harvest in these last days? Right here it is.” He says of the multitude no one could count, “Give me a break,” rejecting the idea that it comes out of a seven-year period.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 13:24 So there’s a delay. First we find the delay because of the martyr quota hasn’t been reached. Second, we find there’s a delay because the saints of God have got to be sealed. Okay. And here is another reason for the delay. Remember I keep telling you that there’s going to be a great harvest in these last days? Right here it is. Right here it is. “After this I saw a multitude no one could count.” Is this big? Yeah. They say, “Well, this is the one that comes out of the great tribulation period.” Give me a break. A multitude that no one could count coming out of seven years, and then you preach that’s going to be hard to get a, accept Christ, and, you know, you tell us it’s hard and the Spirit’s taken from the earth and all this, then you tell me, give me a break. Are you, you understand what I’m saying?

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 7:9 (NKJV)

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

— Revelation 7:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:59

What does he say about predictions that Russia, China or others will attack, in light of Revelation 7:9?

▶ Watch this part (14:34)

Short answer: He says, “if He’s bringing people out of every nation, kind, and tribe, and tongue,” then of those who predict a nation will destroy Israel, “they’re picking on a nation that God wants to save.” He says, “He’s out to bring out a people for Himself out of all these nations,” and “He doesn’t dislike Russians because they’re Russians.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 14:34 Okay, a multitude no one could number come out of great tribulation, out of every nation, kind, and tribe, tongue, and people, and “there stood before the throne and before the Lamb.” Now listen, if He’s bringing people out of every nation, kind, and tribe, and tongue, these people that said Russia’s going to come down and destroy Israel and blah, blah, blah, they’re picking on a nation that God wants to save. When they say China’s going to do it, and the, you know, the Muslims are going to do it, the Arabs and all that, they’re picking on a nation that God wants to save. He’s out to bring out a people for Himself out of all these nations.

▶ 15:07 Let’s stop picking this, let’s stop bringing this. You know, the symbol of Russia was the bear, and so it says over there in Ezekiel the bear, and so forth, so they connect the symbol with the, God didn’t need a symbol back there to tell us what the bear was. He didn’t need a symbol today that Russia has to tell us who the bear is. And He doesn’t dislike Russians because they’re Russians. You cannot judge of people to die and persecute the Jews because they’re born Russian. What if you were born in Russia? Would that be good news to you? You’re doomed to come down and be destroyed. Amen.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 7:9-10 (NKJV)

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

— Revelation 7:9-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 14:35

Who does he say the people in white robes are? (Revelation 7:11-14; John 16:33)

▶ Watch this part (16:11)

Short answer: He reads Revelation 7:13-14 about those “clothed in long white robes” who “have washed their robes and made them white in the” blood of the Lamb. He says, “these people came from earth, and they were made white by what? The blood of the Lamb, not the persecution, not the tribulation.” He says, “we don’t have to be raptured out, we can handle this thing,” and quotes Jesus, “In this world you will have” tribulation.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 16:11 Now these cried, saying, “Salvation to our God who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb.” Here they are worshiping again, and all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they all fell prostrate before the throne and worship God. Here’s a lot of worship going on in Revelation, and they cried, “Blessing and glory and majesty and splendor and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might to our God forever and ever.” All right. Now, those people in white robes, this innumerable number of people that came out of the great tribulation. Verse 13 says one of the elders said to me, “Who are these clothed in long white robes, and from where have they come?” And I replied, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are they which have come out of the great tribulation, the great persecution, and have washed their robes and made them white in the” what? Blood of the Lamb.

▶ 17:30 Jesus said, “In this world you will have” what? Tribulation. How many found that out? You know, if you’re twenty years old, you find you’re in a world that’s got a lot of conflict and trouble in it, and you are one of your biggest sources of trouble, aren’t you? Yeah, the guy you look at in the mirror. So these people came from earth, and they were made white by what? The blood of the Lamb, not the persecution, not the tribulation. You see, we don’t have to be raptured out, we can handle this thing. Are you with me? Are you with me? And it says “a number of,” so the blood of the Lamb is going to bring a powerful lot of people into the kingdom of God. Hallelujah, and you’re one of them.

What does he say about the 144,000 and the twelve tribes? (Revelation 7:4-8)

▶ Watch this part (18:27)

Short answer: He says, “He lists twelve tribes and 12,000 out of each one,” but “Joseph is listed as one of the twelve tribes,” Ephraim “is not even mentioned,” and “Dan, who was one of the original twelve tribes, is not mentioned.” He says, “it has nothing to do with anything,” and “there ain’t just 144,000 going to heaven like the Jehovah’s Witnesses said.” He says “there’s an innumerable group of people up there in heaven” and the twelve tribes “illustrate the sealing of God’s people.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 18:27 Now, going back to the sealed people. Say, well, you know, there’s 144,000 people sealed. Well, give me a break. He lists twelve tribes and 12,000 out of each one. The problem here is Joseph is listed as one of the twelve tribes, but if you know your Bible, there’s really thirteen tribes now, because Ephraim was picked to be one of Jacob’s children and be one of the tribes, and so Ephraim got the birthright and everything, and Ephraim is not even mentioned in these twelve tribes. Dan, who was one of the original twelve tribes, is not mentioned. Hello? Now, God is so confused He don’t even know the names of His tribes. No, because it has nothing to do with anything. There ain’t just 144,000 going to heaven like the Jehovah’s Witnesses said, they’re a bunch of baloney. There’s an innumerable group of people up there in heaven. Amen. And He’s just using these twelve tribes to illustrate the sealing of God’s people. Hallelujah. So is there a delay? Why? The martyr quota hasn’t been reached.

Why does he say we should want the harvest to come in before the Lord returns?

▶ Watch this part (20:15)

Short answer: He says, “if you’re one of these that’s praying, ‘Oh, come, Lord Jesus, get me out of this mess,’ you don’t see the harvest,” and urges, “Stop being selfish and let’s get the vision of the harvest.” He asks whether Jesus’ blood is “big enough to save billions of people,” and says “what God wants to do is way beyond our capabilities.” He concludes, “it’s not about the beast and the troubles and the seven years of tribulation. It’s about the conquering Jesus and the harvest that His blood has power to bring in.”

▶ 20:15 God isn’t finished saving souls and sealing them, and the harvest hasn’t been brought in yet. Now, if you’re one of these that’s praying, “Oh, come, Lord Jesus, get me out of this mess,” you don’t see the harvest. If you put yourself in the shoes of someone in China that they won’t even allow him to hear the gospel, and it’s very hard to hear it, you wouldn’t want Him coming now. You would want to hear the gospel first, isn’t that right? Stop being selfish and let’s get the vision of the harvest. Hallelujah. Is the blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus, big enough to save billions of people in this last day? We got almost 7 billion people in this world.

▶ 21:06 You talk about a harvest, we have a potential harvest, and that’s why we need to fast and pray and seek God, because what God wants to do is way beyond our capabilities. We need Him to arise in us, we need Him to arise in the world and accomplish what He promised to accomplish. Amen. And the second coming is about the power of Jesus Christ, the revelation of Jesus Christ, and what He can do in the earth. It’s not about the beast and the troubles and the seven years of tribulation. It’s about the conquering Jesus and the harvest that His blood has power to bring in. Now, I don’t know about you, but that’s good news.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added by hand, and obvious caption errors were corrected; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: the passage about the four angels and the seal of the living God (about 9:35) and the Ezekiel 9:4-6 reading (about 10:20) are read from a version other than NKJV and are partly paraphrased, so the NKJV text is shown separately; “bond of servants” was written as “bond servants.” One word is marked [unclear]: the group named before “have the seven seals as seven 1,000-year periods” (about 6:25). The captions read “hose” for “host” in Isaiah 34:4, and “ceiling” for “sealing.” His statements about the movement of Hawaii, Tahiti and a mountain (about 0:00), the lists of tribes in Revelation 7 (about 18:30), and the remarks on nations, religions and the Jehovah’s Witnesses (about 15:00–17:00 and about 19:00) are shown as he said them. In the Russia passage (about 15:20) the captions read “persecute the Jews because they’re born Russian,” which is written as captioned. Select any time to jump to that moment on YouTube.
