Signs and the Message — June 27, 2021: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Pastor David G. Kincer closes the signs in John with three groups: those who believe and follow, those who believe but won’t come and follow, and those who won’t believe. He says belief is not enough, that following Christ means walking the road of justice, describes what happens when the wicked rule, and teaches that men are condemned because they love darkness, while those who do the truth come to the light.
How does the message begin?
Short answer: With thanks and worship to the Good Shepherd who leads, guides and comforts His people.
▶ 0:01 Thank you Jesus amen there’s great hope and power in the name of Jesus Jesus we come before you this day and we thank you. Lord we love you we worship you we honor you this day we thank you for your goodness towards your people Lord that you’re such a good shepherd that you lead us and you guide us you comfort us you bring us such great joy expression of such great hope and joy we thank you this day for your presence. Lord we just love you. We love you and we thank. You we just want to take time to worship and thank you anyone has a prayer of thanks of just you want to tell the Lord how much you love him.
Why were the signs in John written?
Short answer: So that you may believe Jesus is the Christ; the gospel is not an intellectual event but a spiritual event where God imparts faith.
▶ 0:56 Today Jesus we love you Lord. We love you Jesus. Let’s just say that together we love you Jesus. We thank you this day amen. Amen. Well you can find your seats in his presence. Of his apostles his disciples. Which are not written in this book of the gospel of John but these are written in the gospel of John so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ. The messiah. The son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name.
▶ 1:49 Peter said. To Jesus you are the Christ the son of the living God. The same thing that John said. That these signs would cause us to believe and Jesus replied to Peter and says Peter flesh and blood has not revealed that to you but my father which is in heaven when we get faith or when we get anything it’s because God comes. And divinely imparts that to us. Christianity. And the gospel is not an intellectual event it is a spiritual event where God is part. Of our becoming and living a Christian life in today’s message we’re going to.
Scripture in this part
John 20:30-31 (NKJV)
And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
— John 20:30-31 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:56 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 16:16-17 (NKJV)
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
— Matthew 16:16-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:49 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What three kinds of people respond to the signs?
Short answer: Those who believe, come to Christ and follow Him; those who believe but won’t come and follow; and those who won’t believe at all.
▶ 2:47 See after all the signs and the messages that Christ preached. We’re going to see that many did believe just like John said they not only believe but they come to Christ and they followed Christ. But we’re going to see also today that some won’t believe in spite of miracles. They won’t believe others we’re going to see will believe. But they won’t come to Jesus and they won’t follow Jesus. So then there’s 15 sessions of many signs. That Jesus did including the resurrection from the dead we’re going to see these three types of people they that believe.
▶ 3:39 Come to him and follow him they that believe but won’t come to him and follow him and they that just won’t believe or come to him and follow him so we go to John chapter 12 37. Here’s the unbelieving group. Though he had done many miracles. Before them. Yet they believed not on him many miracles that John said if the books were written of everything it was done the world couldn’t contain the books that’s how much Jesus did so that is the first group unbelievers they’re just not going to believe. You probably know some they’re just not going to believe they’re not interested and I’ll tell you a while later the second group.
Scripture in this part
John 12:37 (NKJV)
But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him,
— John 12:37 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 3:39Can people believe in Jesus but not follow Him?
Short answer: Yes. Even leaders believed but would not confess Him for fear of being put out of the synagogue; they loved human praise more than God’s.
▶ 4:33 Faith people that have faith in Jesus. They believe in Jesus but they will not come to Jesus and they will not follow Jesus. And we find that in John chapter 12 verse 42. Okay many even among the leaders. Believed in Jesus. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue. For they loved human praise. More than the praise from God they loved humans honoring them more than God honoring them.
Scripture in this part
John 12:42-43 (NKJV)
Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
— John 12:42-43 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:33Who believed but did not follow?
Short answer: Herod chose his wife over John the Baptist’s message, Pilate pleased the people, Caiaphas kept his position, and the blind man’s parents chose religion.
▶ 5:29 Wow and yet they were believers and I’m trying to show people on Facebook and on the internet that believing and faith is not enough. And here we see it. Belief here was not enough now you got to remember. That Herod. Believed John the baptist’s message. He feared John the baptist. He knew John the baptist was a holy man. Okay and he sought to hear him but he chose his wife. Over John the baptist see he did he heard he believed but he didn’t come to Christ that John the baptist was preaching and he didn’t follow the Christ that John the baptist was preaching he followed his wife.
▶ 6:32 He would rather have harmony in his marriage than eternal life with Jesus Christ. You also remember Pilate his wife came to him: have nothing to do with this just man his wife said I had a dream don’t bother this just man as Jesus was brought before them but Pilate was willing to please the people. Would not listen to his wife who was given a vision from God a dream from God and to please the people he would not follow Jesus believe Jesus and come to Jesus and you remember Caiaphas the chief priest the high priest that day at that time he had a vision from God that one would die for the sins of all the world yet he would not believe in Christ he would not come to Christ and he would not follow Christ because he wanted to stay in his high priest.
Scripture in this part
Mark 6:20 (NKJV)
for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
— Mark 6:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:29 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 27:19 (NKJV)
While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”
— Matthew 27:19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:32 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 11:49-51 (NKJV)
And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all, nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,
— John 11:49-51 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:32 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What happens to those who deny Him before men?
Short answer: Jesus said He will deny them before His Father; they profess to know Him but deny Him in works.
▶ 7:42 Religious religion. And you remember the blind man’s parents. When Jesus healed him. They said when they were asked. He’s of age ask him because they were afraid to be cast out of the synagogue. They chose a religion. A man-made religion. Over a real relationship with Christ by coming to him and following him. So. We see in Matthew 10. Verse 33. That whoever denies me before men him will I also deny before my father in heaven.
▶ 8:36 Though they believed in him. They would not come to him they would not follow him and they would not testify to the people around them that they were followers of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. And then God Jesus said the father is going to the father is going to deny you or I’m going to deny you before my father that’s a serious thing how many don’t want to be denied yeah I mean this. This salvation plan is too good remember in Titus 1:16 Titus wrote. With the mouth they professed to know me. They profess to know me. But in works in deeds they deny me being abominable in their lifestyle.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 10:33 (NKJV)
But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
— Matthew 10:33 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:42Titus 1:16 (NKJV)
They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
— Titus 1:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:36Why is there conflict between believers who follow and those who don’t?
Short answer: Because this is about living right and standing for justice; when the wicked rule, the people mourn.
▶ 9:34 So faith is not enough. Belief is not enough as you see the little dancing words down here all right. Remember. Jesus told Peter. My father revealed this stuff to you and he better be the one revealing it to us could that be an amen and he will God is not playing hard to get at all so. Let us continue. We’re going to like take a look at why. Believers. Don’t come to Christ and follow. Christ. Believers. And unbelievers believers that don’t come to and follow Christ. They have a conflict.
▶ 10:28 With believers that come to and follow Christ see they have a struggle with believers that come to and follow Christ. A conflict a struggle. All right. And. Let me just give you an example that this whole thing is about living right this whole thing is about treating people with justice. And standing for justice. Remember. The Bible says that when the righteous rules the people rejoice but when the wicked rule the people mourn. Why because wicked people have a conflict. They struggle against those who want to live justly.
Scripture in this part
Proverbs 29:2 (NKJV)
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
— Proverbs 29:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:28 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is government for?
Short answer: Justice, not religion: preventing people from hurting other people. When churches ruled, they killed and persecuted those who disagreed.
▶ 11:23 And when wicked people rule they make unjust laws they make unjust decisions and it affects the just people government is about justice it’s not about religion. You see they keep us out by saying there’s a separation of church and state they keep us out they try to suppress us and keep us down. And they have a point because when the church was in charge like the Catholics and the Orthodox they killed people. And persecuted people that disagreed with them about idols disagreed with them about mary disagreed with them about transubstantiation, which does no harm to anybody justice is about preventing. People from hurting other people.
▶ 12:15 See if you don’t want to believe in God that doesn’t hurt other people. You shouldn’t be persecuted because you choose to reject God. Right. The justice wouldn’t do that justice will only punish and persecute or imprison or find those that are hurting other people. That’s what government’s all about it’s not about a church running a nation it’s about justice running a nation and there shouldn’t be any greater just people than the people that come to Christ and follow him and that’s a big amen. And when you come to Christ and follow him you are going to attain to a just mentality and live a just righteous life and that is a big amen when you just believe in Christ you can believe anything you want.
Why will a just person face conflict?
Short answer: Unjust governments, parents or church leaders will try to silence, shun and mock those who live justly, as they did Christ.
▶ 13:18 And you can say this is my belief big deal if your belief hurts someone then it’s not just and that’s what it’s all about. Remember. Rulers the Bible says are to be just ruling in the fear of the Lord remembering kings the king seduced the people. To live worse than the sinful nations the Gentile nations that they come and conquered. The government seduce the people this wicked government and so if you’re just you’re going to be in a conflict. With government. If your parents are unjust and you want to live just you’re going to be in a conflict with your parents. Amen. And if the church leaders are unjust and you want to live justly you’re going to be in a conflict.
Scripture in this part
2 Samuel 23:3 (NKJV)
The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the fear of God.
— 2 Samuel 23:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:18 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Will the wicked always be with us?
Short answer: Yes; the wheat and tares grow together until the harvest, and the struggle is over who is in charge.
▶ 14:18 A struggle with those leaders and they’re going to do everything they can to silence you shun you. Make fun of you mock you just like they did Christ that is why unbelievers and believers that don’t come to Christ and follow him are a real problem for those who want to live justly. After coming to Christ and following him you can’t say you’re following Christ and living an unjust life Christ doesn’t live that way does he anybody can say I believe in Christ. But if you’re following Christ you’re going to follow the righteous just road. You’re not going to do anything to hurt yourself and you’re not going to do anything to hurt others. Amen the problem is Jesus said in the parable of the wheat.
▶ 15:16 And tares. That they both got to grow together the children of the kingdom and the children of Satan are going to grow together. Till the harvest the end time harvest so folks. They’re going to be with us until Christ comes. So the struggle comes and who’s in charge. And they don’t want. Just people in charge. That we have uh. Uh. Scriptures that tell us. In Deuteronomy that God would make us the head the leader and not the tail, the follower.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 13:30 (NKJV)
Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”
— Matthew 13:30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 14:18 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Deuteronomy 28:13 (NKJV)
And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
— Deuteronomy 28:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:16 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Isn’t that dominionism?
Short answer: He says no: not a denomination ruling, but people of justice; Christ is coming for a glorious, just bride, and that promise has not yet been fulfilled.
▶ 16:09 Are you there now most churches don’t believe in that I mean I’m talking with them every day on the internet they call that dominionism. You know the church wanting to rule no no justice rules. Amen. Justice rules the baptist should not be ruling and making everybody follow the baptist and the Catholics follow the Catholics and the Pentecostals following the Pentecostals but people of justice should rule and he says I want to make you the rulers and not the followers amen has that ever been fulfilled never and they keep telling me Christ can come any minute. And I keep telling them if that is true then the Christ that I know. Cannot back up his word with his power.
▶ 17:04 And the Christ that I know can back up his word with this power and Jesus is going to do these things he’s coming back for a glorious church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing a church who the gates of hell cannot overcome. The power of the church and folks there’s a visitation of God coming before Christ comes whether people believe it or not he is going to fulfill every jot and tittle of the word and he’s coming back for a glorious bride not a puny teenaged bashful. Immoral bride he’s coming back for a righteous bride a just bride that he is going to make them that way amen. The father in heaven is going to do this. This is not a seminary thing or a college thing you can pick up in college or seminary this is a thing you pick up from God hallelujah.
Scripture in this part
Ephesians 5:27 (NKJV)
that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
— Ephesians 5:27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:04 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
— Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:04 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What happens when the wicked are in authority?
Short answer: He names child prostitution, sexual abuse in the military, abortion and gender confusion in schools, and says most churches are silent.
▶ 18:00 He’s building the church today we have child prostitution. In America they call it trafficking or whatever it’s just flat out child prostitution. Okay they don’t want to call prostitutes prostitutes anymore or anything like that they don’t want to cause sin sin but parents are selling their kids for sex as early as four years old it’s disgusting and it’s in America and it’s everywhere. This is disgusting stuff four year olds is is the epitome of it you know it’s the worst of it all but it’s still the adolescents the teenagers they’re selling teenagers are selling themselves. On the internet for sex they put the big makeup on and it’s cake it on and get their hair all primped up and they have the low-cut blouses and you know everything skin and all this and they’re.
▶ 18:59 Selling themselves. And our government does nothing about it. This is how bad it is when the wicked are in authority we prostitute children. That is horrible it’s disgusting thousands of military men are sexually abused every year in America the last time I did the research it was over 10 000. Men and women in the military sexually abused the homosexuals are abusing the military guys are you there church this is what happens when the wicked are in control this is why there is a struggle between the just and the unjust and ever who’s in the power. Is the one that makes the laws and the ones that hold the gun [unclear] and force you to do what they want you to do.
▶ 19:57 Millions of babies are murdered every year and I’m arguing all every day about this you know that woman has a right to her own body I said there is a body inside that woman’s body that body has a right too could that be an amen yes that body has the same right as the mother has. And it has no voice so somebody’s got to stand up for it and most of the churches in America today are silent on these issues we’re letting babies be murdered without very many people speaking up children being sexually molested and physically abused without most Christians speaking up. Or. Americans same-sex is in the public schools same-sex and you know binary uh whatever all these things people today don’t even know who they are.
What does he say about gender?
Short answer: Children are told they are whatever they choose, but male and female DNA is there no matter what; it’s scientifically and biblically proven.
▶ 21:00 That’s how bad our government in America has gotten they’re telling our kids that you’re not a male you’re not a female you’re just whatever you choose to be. And yet their own scientific dna. Is stuck with them all their life they can they can have sex changes they can take hormones they can do everything but your male dna and your female dna is there no matter what you do it’s there can I hear an amen even though it’s scientifically proven and it’s biblically proven that these things are wrong they keep doing it and we have a wicked government in America today that allows these things and California leads the way. They make bad laws.
▶ 21:52 They want to take away our guns and they want to put anybody on welfare that doesn’t want to work just flat out socialism. So that should bring a real conflict between the people that. Believe in Christ. Come to Christ meet with that Christ and follow that Christ down the road of justice amen and that’s what we should be fighting for justice you remember Jesus said he didn’t come to the sick he said the sick doesn’t need a physician he didn’t come to call the righteous to repentance. To salvation. But the sinner. You see people that don’t even believe in Jesus can stand for what’s just.
Why are unbelievers condemned?
Short answer: God gave His Son; the condemnation is that men love evil deeds and hate the light. They go to hell because they wanted to do wrong.
▶ 22:45 It’s the point he’s making. Hallelujah and a lot of people that believe in Jesus don’t stand up for justice. And so this message today is a very important message and here is why. Believers don’t come to Christ. John 3:18. They that do not believe this is right after John 3:16 the verse heard around the world. For God so loved the world that he gave. Say the word gave gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him would not perish but have everlasting life he gave his son to die for us he gave his son to rise from the dead he gave his son to be the savior of the world he gave his son to be the example that we are to follow the emphasis is on him giving his son not you believing in him wow that was good.
▶ 23:46 Are you there. He gave his son. Then he says. They that do not believe are condemned sentenced to a punishment already. They that don’t believe are sentenced to a punishment already now I can show you a scripture in Romans that is the opposite of that so why do these that don’t believe why are they really condemned are you following me are you following me all right. This it says in the next verse this is the condemnation this is the sentence this is why they’re going to be punished men love evil deeds and hate the light light has come into the world but men and that’s Jesus love evil deeds and hate the light they hate Jesus they hate truth they call the gospel message a message of hate but God causes their evil.
▶ 24:57 Deeds. Proof that they hate Jesus Christ. Amen. Hallelujah. That’s why they don’t come to Christ that’s why they don’t follow Christ. And they don’t want to believe in Christ or they want to believe in Christ but they don’t want to follow Christ because they still want to do wrong. They won’t come to him because Christ will expose the wrong. They won’t follow him because Christ is going to take them down the road of justice the road of right. So they’re not going to hell just because they didn’t believe. They’re going to hell because they didn’t believe because they wanted to do what was wrong.
Scripture in this part
John 3:16-20 (NKJV)
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
— John 3:16-20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 22:45What happens when we come to the light?
Short answer: He shines His light, we see the spots and wrinkles, and we let Him clean us up; he who does the truth comes to the light.
▶ 25:53 They do not come to the light at least their deeds should be exposed you see you come to Jesus you get on your knees and you pray or you come in by worship enter into his presence with thanksgiving he’s going to come and he’s going to shine his light on you and when he shines his light on you you’re going to see the specks. The wrinkles. The spots in your life. And you’re going to let him clean you up. Amen. Hallelujah. They don’t want their deeds to be exposed. Then it says in the next verse he who does the truth comes to the light they come to Christ. They say that his deeds his works not have works lest any man should boast you know the Baptists are doing a lot of damage.
Scripture in this part
John 3:21 (NKJV)
But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
— John 3:21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 25:53Is it faith and grace only, with no works?
Short answer: He says that teaching does damage; we must come to Jesus and live justly, and Revelation says we are judged according to our works.
▶ 26:51 To a lot of Christians with this faith and grace only no works faith and grace only no work. We got to come to Jesus is that an amen forget faith and grace. We got to come to Jesus and when we come to Jesus we’re making a declaration that we will live in a just mental stage and lifestyle amen it’s about justice. That his deeds may be clearly seen see they got nothing to hide and if they do have something that they haven’t seen he brings it to the light and they can get God to forgive and cleanse them from that see they’re not afraid of the light they want the light. And they be clearly seen that they’ve been done their deeds are done in God but when you are not following God you don’t want to be exposed and this is why.
▶ 27:56 Unbelievers. Are going to go to the lake of fire they have things in their life that they don’t want to give up that God says is unjust. And many believers are going to go to the lake of fire because they won’t come to Christ. And follow him Jesus said. Search the scriptures for in them you think you have life but you won’t come to me but you won’t come to me that you might have everlasting life I know a lot of people that read the Bible. But they don’t obey the Bible I know a lot of people that were taught by their parents and taught in Sunday school and taught in church.
▶ 28:50 Even in private Christian schools and when they left and went out into the world they didn’t they can quote you scripture. They can tell you things that a lot of believers that follow Christ can’t tell you because they were taught well but they’re not living for Christ. See they believe but they don’t come to Christ and they don’t follow him. Amen thus they don’t have eternal life so where does grace and faith come in when Jesus said you got to come to me if you want eternal life he didn’t say come to grace he didn’t say come to faith and he didn’t say to come to no works he said your deeds will be exposed I want you to work the good deeds the right deeds I want you to do justice. Amen. In Revelations 20 verse 13 they were judged each one according to his works now the Baptists have to do a lot of preaching around this verse to try to convince you that it’s not works that save you.
Scripture in this part
John 5:39-40 (NKJV)
You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
— John 5:39-40 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:56 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Revelation 20:13 (NKJV)
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
— Revelation 20:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:50What about people who never heard the law?
Short answer: Romans 2 says Gentiles who do by nature the things in the law, written in their hearts, will be considered in the day God judges.
▶ 30:01 But that’s exactly what it is we’re judge each one according to what grace. Faith. Works the results of grace and faith the results of coming to Christ and following him. In Romans 2:14 is that powerful verse that answers the questions about people who never heard of Christ and never heard of the Bible never heard of God’s laws the writer of Romans ignited by the Holy Ghost said the Gentiles which have not the law they never heard of the law they keep the law. Written in their hearts written in their conscience of right and wrong and they do what’s right from their conscience they will be considered circumcised in the day that God judges the people amen so yes that’s why Jesus said I didn’t come to call.
Scripture in this part
Romans 2:14-15 (NKJV)
for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)
— Romans 2:14-15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 30:01Are we perfect when we get saved?
Short answer: No; he kept having to change things, and his mouth was one of the big ones.
▶ 30:59 The righteous to repentance but the sinner there are people living right and I come that I might save all these people that are living wrong and get them over to the side of right hallelujah. Powerful. As we prepare a song for the end as my guitar players come. This final scripture. And as you see down here at the bottom this little dancing. Words do deeds also save us. Yes. We got and don’t get me wrong we can grow in God we’re not going to be perfect at least I wasn’t you know maybe you guys when you got saved and I hear a lot of people on the internet saying man when they got saved they got perfect just like that okay oh yeah that didn’t work that didn’t have me I kept having to change things how many of you had to keep changing things yes my mouth was one of the big things that I had to keep working with how about you yes.
What do the Scriptures testify of?
Short answer: Of Jesus: creation, the cross, the resurrection and His return; not side issues like hair length or jewelry.
▶ 32:12 Here it is John chapter 5 verse 38. You do not believe in me Jesus said. The one whom God sent God gave his son you don’t believe in me some do believe in the son God sent. You search the scriptures. And by searching the scriptures and quoting some verses you think you have eternal life you think you have eternal life but Jesus told Peter my father in heaven revealed this to you Peter not your thinking not the people around you is thinking not intellect this is a spiritual. Thing that is done amen that’s why Jesus said you must be born again we got to be born of that spirit we got to encounter God.
▶ 33:12 And these scriptures. Are what testify of me. They witness of me they prove. That I created the world I always intended to come and die on the cross that I am the savior that I was going to die and be born and be resurrected again and I’m going to come back a second time the scriptures prove they are a witness of me. Not where fallen angels are having sex with women not transubstantiation not of this nonsense how long your hair is or you know do you wear jewelry or don’t you wear jewelry or what all these things we come up with. The scriptures are about Jesus and us coming to him believing in him and following him can I hear amen hallelujah.

— John 3:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:12 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Is eternal life in grace or faith?
Short answer: It’s in Jesus. Demons believe; grace has always been there, but grace didn’t save anybody; God was in the ark.
▶ 34:09 But you won’t come to me that you may have life so where is eternal life. And Jesus it’s not in grace it’s not in faith remember the Bible says demons believe. Demons believe they’re not saved folks they’re never going to be. Saved. And God has always been gracious what did Noah find in the eyes of the Lord grace absolutely what did Israel find when they came out of Egypt and lived in the Canaan land and through the kings what did they find grace. Grace has always been there but grace didn’t save anybody. God was in the ark.

Short answer: He came to Christ, asked forgiveness, and a load of sin was lifted and Christ was real in him.
▶ 36:05 On that road of justice. And that. My friends. It’s the real gospel message. One night I knelt down in a little church in Norwalk California. At the altar couldn’t have been no more than 50 people there. I came I answered that altar call I came to Christ and he came to me and he spoke to me in my conscience not audible voice none of this hokey pokey stuff. And when I asked him to forgive me of my sin. And cleanse me from all unrighteousness and come into my life receive him into my life bam I was shocked.
How can we come to Christ?
Short answer: Enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise, or get on your knees and say “God forgive me a sinner.”
▶ 37:00 A load with sin was lifted off of me and Christ was real in me. Hallelujah. And that is the gospel message will you believe will you come through worship and praise he he it gives us easy ways to come to him enter his gates with thanksgiving what’s so difficult about that enter his gates of course with praise hallelujah you know we don’t have to beat the ground oh moan and groan oh God no we can enter with thanksgiving we’re going to enter with praise we can get on our knees and just talk to him and say God forgive me a sinner. We don’t crucify ourself we don’t punish ourselves we can’t pay money to get salvation or do anything to get it he comes and he reveals himself to us hallelujah.
▶ 37:58 So we’re going to sing oh come let us adore him that Christmas song come to Christ adore him love him invite him into your life. He is Christ he is the Lord and at the day if you want to come to Jesus and do things right and follow him and let him speak to you my sheep hear my voice. Let him speak to you will you stand wherever you’re at and let’s sing this unto the God. Oh.

Short answer: Yes. Saul, the chiefest sinner, heard Jesus, obeyed and followed, and became the chiefest apostle.
▶ 39:04 Wherever we’re at this morning. Just take your prayer to Jesus Christ go directly to him. He will hear us he will hear you. Let his light shine upon you this morning. Let his light shine upon your heart it not only encourages you and brightens your life but it shows some flaws that he wants to cleanse he wants to get rid of you may be the world’s worst sinner today like Paul. Saul was the world’s worst sinner the Bible says. And Jesus came to him. Jesus spoke to Saul.

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Short answer: Jesus, show me my impurities, forgive and cleanse me, and come live in my life in a greater way.
▶ 39:57 Saul responded and obeyed the voice and followed Christ. He went from being the chiefest sinner to the chiefest apostle. Because he came to Christ believed in Christ and followed Christ. So no matter what you’ve done today little or big. It’s nothing for Jesus to set you free to heal you to cleanse you and take away the control of sin. In your life just asking. Right now just say Jesus. Show me my impurities. Ever how big or little they are. And then Lord. I ask you to forgive me of these.
▶ 40:52 I asked you to cleanse me of these. And I asked you to come and live in my life in a greater way than ever before. And I thank you that you’re a God that does not lie. You will. Do what your word said you would do you will make us new creatures in Christ Jesus after the very likeness is an image of Christ. We thank you Lord as we follow you we grow brighter and brighter until the day we die or you come. Thank you Jesus for being a just God and thank you Lord for empowering us to walk in justice.
