Pastor David G. Kincer teaches from John 10 that the Lord made us and is our shepherd: Jesus is the good shepherd who gave his life and the only door to salvation. He contrasts the hireling who works for money and flees with honest delegated leaders, warns of wolves in sheep’s clothing and false doctrines, and explains being practical as serpents and pure as doves.

Who made us?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: Psalm 100:3: the Lord has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Not evolution or chance—God made us. The Lord owns, cares for, protects and feeds his flock.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 Now remember to love God we need to understand our association or our position with him and that’s what we’ve been showing you God’s position and our position and when we know his position and our position then we have understanding of how we are to respond and so today you probably guessed I’m going to be hitting the Lord is our shepherd. Okay he owns the flock he cares for the flock he protects the flock and he feeds the flock. Psalms 103 verse 3 or 100 verse 3 the Lord has made us okay. Not evolution we didn’t come from some rock we didn’t come from some microscopic matter back there that blew up into this mass we see today we came from the hand of God he made us and he goes on to say not we ourselves you see the evolutionists would like us to believe that we just came by chance into this world and and we are the deciding factor of our success in life but God says no you didn’t make yourselves I made you you are my people.

How do you identify the good shepherd?

▶ Watch this part (1:29)

Short answer: John 10:11: I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. That is the identifying mark. Pastors are only delegated shepherds; Jesus is that good shepherd.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:29 You are my people you are the sheep and I’m the shepherd you are the sheep of my pasture. Okay I have a place where you can drink and eat and be healthy and you can be protected you of a sheep I am the shepherd now we’re going to go to John 10 verse 11. This great shepherd chapter Jesus himself is talking all right and Jesus says I am the good shepherd he tells us he is the shepherd and he is the good shepherd and then he tells us how to identify a good shepherd from a lousy shepherd a false shepherd I am the good shepherd and here’s the identifying mark the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep you say the good shepherd would never leave the flock.

▶ 2:38 The good shepherd will do everything he can to keep his flock healthy. Strong fed wise. He is the good shepherd and that’s how you identify him Joseph Smith is not the good shepherd he couldn’t give his life for the sheep. Mohammed is not the good shepherd you understand there is no pastor in America that is a good shepherd because we are delegated shepherds if we are a pastor most churches in America do not have a pastor they have a leader that they call a pastor a pastor is a very distinct job description in the Bible very distinct anyway. Jesus is that good shepherd now you’ll notice up on your screen now I have a sheepfold all right it’s made of rock and it has a opening in it.

Scripture in this part

John 10:11 (NKJV)

What does Jesus mean by “I am the door”?

▶ Watch this part (3:44)

Short answer: John 10:7, 9: the shepherd slept in the opening of the sheepfold; by me if any man enters in he shall be saved. Jesus is the only way—the proof is that he gave his life, died and rose. Christians can disagree on many things but not on Jesus.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:44 Now. Jesus goes on to say I. Am the door of the sheep this opening this door sometimes they would put a wooden fence here a gate and that could be picked up and moved but a lot of times the shepherd slept right here. Okay. So Jesus said in John 10:7 I am the door of the sheep I should have translated that the sheepfold it is sheepfold. King James isn’t perfect that’s why you need a concordance that’s why you need a Bible dictionary to look up things just like your kids in school have to look up english words to learn them you got to look up Bible words to learn them could that be an amen yeah you got to put work into learning folks and I’m just going to open the Bible and osmosis the scriptures in you they’re just going to jump out in the end you [unclear] okay I’m the door all right I am the entryway by me by who Jesus if any man any person and enters in he shall be saved.

▶ 5:09 He is the only way like I said Joseph Smith is not the way Muhammad is not the way Mary Baker Eddy is not the way these human people Buddha is not the way and I can go on and on this Bible tells us that Jesus is the way and the proof is that he gave his life for the sheep he took the beating he took the pain he he took the cross and the nails in there and he died and he rose again he paid the price to purchase us he is the only way the only truth and the only life amen and we can disagree on a lot of things in the church world but you cannot disagree about. Jesus you can’t change who he is or me and you have a problem alright if you don’t believe in the second coming like other people do I could care the least has nothing to do with anything alright you may not even believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues and all that because you’ve been taught it’s not for today and it’s of the Devil all the rest that’s all right you know that’s your problem you’re going to be missing out on a great gift at your choice but you can’t disagree on Jesus amen.

What are the sheep saved from?

▶ Watch this part (6:28)

Short answer: From the wolf, lion, bear and thief who come for the wool, milk and meat. In the New Testament we are saved from Satan, sin, the day of wrath and the lake of fire. A pastor or prayer chain can’t do it; Jesus saves and protects.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:28 Hallelujah. Now what about what are the sheep going to be saved from well they’re going to be saved from the wolf the Bible said the lion the bear member David slew the lion and a bear when they come to take the sheep man he rose up. See he put his life on the line for the sheep and then the thief the one that doesn’t want any responsibility he just wants what the sheepfold can give him. Sheep have wool. Sheep have milk and sheep have meat and when you take his meat you take the life of the sheep and so they’ll be safe from that but over in the New Testament we’re safe from Satan we’re saved from sin.

▶ 7:27 We’re saved from the day of wrath there is a day of wrath there’s a season of wrath coming that’s why I know Jesus isn’t coming today or tomorrow okay that’s one of the sign these people and I there’s some things that’s got to happen and you’re going to be saved the Bible plainly says you’re safe from that day of wrath and yeah you’re saved from the lake of fire you’re not going to go to hell and you’re not going to go with the lake of fire that’s what your saved your rescue from why because he is the shepherd when when the enemy comes in he rises up to protect you a pastor can’t do it a prayer chain can’t do it Jesus can save you and protect you and keep you safe amen. We are his sheep now.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Samuel 17:34-35 (NKJV)

But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.

What is the formula for entering the door?

▶ Watch this part (8:22)

Short answer: Romans 10:9–13: call on the name of the Lord Jesus, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe God raised him from the dead. God gave Jesus a name above every name; every knee shall bow. He mostly uses the name of Jesus when witnessing.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 8:22 Let’s look at the formula for entering the door to be saved. In Romans 10 verse 9 if you call upon the Lord Jesus Lord Jesus and he saved Lord Jesus I need your help you got a call on his name not God because God has designated Jesus Christ God in the flesh and he gave him all authority in heaven and in earth is that Bible you see now you say well don’t say well Jesus is God he’s God in the flesh and Jesus was given a name of what every name that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow every tongue shall confess that he is Lord the chief controller who is God.

▶ 9:18 Amen. Now this is the formula and you can’t change this formula. All right you got a call on Jesus not Mohammed not Allah. You got a call on Jesus. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus that he is God he is the chief power all authority in heaven and earth been given unto him because he is God amen. Yeah Jesus. I’m always using the name do I hardly ever use the word God when I’m out there witnessing and talking to people it’s the name of Jesus that stirs up the nest that separates the difference and his name is powerful and we’re not taken away from God when we do that you understand alleluia we’re just leading people to the one that can save them and bring them into the sheepfold and that’s God has given Jesus that responsibility all right now.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

— Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:29
Scripture (NKJV)

Philippians 2:9-11 (NKJV)

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

— Philippians 2:9-11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:10 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Why must we believe he died and rose?

▶ Watch this part (10:26)

Short answer: Jesus was born of a virgin, died on the cross and rose again. He says Muslims deny Jesus died on the cross, and that is a simple error that makes their religion wrong—not hateful, just the truth. He tells of loudly witnessing to Muslims at a fair.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 10:26 Thirdly if you believe God raised him from the dead born of a virgin died on the cross rose again see the Muslims do not believe Jesus died on that cross and if they made that simple and error that God in a fleshly body that fleshy body could die but the spirit of God can live on if they make that simple of an error folks that whole religion is a mess that’s just too simple in that right that’s how simple it is and don’t tell me it’s a religion of peace don’t tell me don’t try to protect them they’re just wrong. Amen. They’re wrong because the Bible says they’re wrong and we’re not being hateful and mean and all that we’re just telling you the truth you’re wrong.

▶ 11:20 Alleluia I was witnessing to some at the fair one day to some Muslims they had a desk there and they were trying to get people to become a Muslim and they had stacks of Bibles different versions of the Bible over here and man we got into it and you know me when I’m witnessing I get loud I want everybody to hear I looked around later and there’s a crowd about 30-40 people. And they said well your religion one of the things I said your religion has all these versions we got one I said sir have you read any of those no I said I’ve read a lot I’ve read every version you got there they all say the same thing. Oh yeah and then we went on from there and a man and people love to hear people that’s challenging wrong doctrine so learn so you can talk and when you talk get loud so everybody in the world hears it.

What happens when we confess?

▶ Watch this part (12:33)

Short answer: With the heart man believes unto righteousness; with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 1 John 1:9: if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us. He led a 14-year-old to the Lord this week with these Scriptures; once people admit they’re wrong, the Savior shows up.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 12:33 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness. Okay. With that door comes righteousness a commitment to do right act right speak right am I right yeah I should say is the Bible right see that’s why we came to Christ we were wrong and we had to admit we were wrong and change that wrong all right now. With the mouth confession is made unto salvation I led a young boy 14 years old to the Lord this week using this same scriptures alright. 14 years old. First John 1:9 if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

▶ 13:32 All right I told this young boy he is your perception of God that he is faithful you can rely on him you can count on him that he cannot lie he said yet then if you confess you’re wrong is he going to back up his word and cleanse you and forgive you and then the breakdown come. Because God shows up that born-again encounter God shows up breakdown. Are you with me see till they confess if they just believe they’re a Christian they’re not going to feel anything they’re not going to encounter they have to admit he is Lord he is God he is the savior and they have to admit they’re wrong and once they admit the wrong the savior shows up and they.

What does it mean not to be ashamed?

▶ Watch this part (14:27)

Short answer: Whoever believes on him will not be ashamed—to call Jesus Lord and Savior or to stand up for right. He describes protesting at a Chick-fil-A with a sign about homosexuals; loving them means telling them they’re wrong. The resurrection is as important as the death.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 14:27 Can feel him and they can encounter him. And so that’s how we get saved the scripture says all who believe on him will not be ashamed you won’t be ashamed to tell people Jesus is your Lord and savior have you ever heard people say that statement Jesus my Lord and savior yeah that’s what they’re doing they are repeating what the scripture says to do they are not ashamed of Jesus Christ they’re not ashamed to stand up for right. When I was out there protesting the homosexuals protest at Chick-fil-A I was loud again yeah I had a sign that says homosexuals are criminals they are liars and there are bullies. Because that’s what they are they’re lying to the people.

▶ 15:24 Big time and they’re bullying Christians shutting us up and the Christians were all bullied [unclear] was there with me the Christians come over and says I was out of line I gotta love them I said I am loving them I’m telling them they’re wrong. Amen. [unclear] it’s not going to do them any good to go oh we’re going to buy Chick-fil-A to show that we love you that ain’t going to help them [unclear]. Tell them know the scriptures is what’s going to help them we got to confess that he rose from the grave. His death his burial resurrection is the whole package of salvation he died to cleanse us from sin [unclear] the spirit of life in Christ Jesus set us free from the law of sin the resurrection is just as important as the death.

Who enters some other way?

▶ Watch this part (16:24)

Short answer: John 10:1: he that climbs up some other way is a thief and a robber, after the wool, milk and meat. They sneak up on delegated shepherds, not Jesus. Church leaders are under-shepherds; the power is in the word and the presence of the Spirit.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 16:24 Amen yes we serve a living God folks I know you’ve heard that but I tell you when you are born again when you’ve had that encounter you know Jesus is real absolutely. Absolutely alright so that’s the formula now then he says John 10:1 he that enters some other way now what other way is there over the fence sneaking up behind and jumping over the fence okay that’s the other way there’s only one door okay he that climbs up some other way is a thief and a robber see they come for the wool they come for the milk they come for the meat they come for the sheep themself. They just want what the sheep has and what is coming the wolf the bear the lion and the thief.

▶ 17:26 They can easily jump over this wall. And so they try to sneak up on the shepherd can Jesus be snuck up on no it’s us delegated shepherds that they can sneak up on. Us delegated leaders that’s why it’s imperative that the church world is totally focused and that Jesus is their shepherd and church leaders are just under shepherds they are delegated authorities they really don’t have much power at all except to preach the word the powers in the word and the powers in the presence the spirit could I get an amen yes we get way too much credit to preachers. Nothing would happen if God didn’t back up his word is that an amen God backs up the word on who we look to the one that’s leading it there is an invisible person leading this thing don’t forget alleluia if he could use a donkey he can use anybody so don’t get elevated how it.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 10:1 (NKJV)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

What is a hireling?

▶ Watch this part (18:43)

Short answer: John 10:12: the hireling works for money. One kind says you must do something to merit salvation—but salvation is a gift; faith in your faith does nothing, and the demons believe. The other is in it for the mortgage and fancy car. An honest leader stays when problems come.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 18:43 Now and. 10:12 a hireling one that works for money moolah moolah is not the shepherd now there’s two aspects to this. The hireling leader that says you got to do something for God to forgive you and to get into heaven you got to say so many Hail Marys and you got a name it claim it you gotta pray and fast for 40 days and 40 nights or whatever there’s something you got to do to merit salvation. That’s what a hireling leader is. Salvation folks is totally a gift he bought you with his life there’s nothing more you can do but believe it accept it and pursue it.

▶ 19:43 Amen. There’s no pilgrimage to Mecca that’s going to help there’s no penance no self-punishment as some people do try to find it no donations and now you can give all your money to the poor and all your money to the church and it’s not going to get you saved in that Bible yes. And no faith in faith. Your faith in your faith will not do beans for you. Your faith in Jesus Christ will. Hell yeah. But I believe so what the demons believe the Bible said that make him a good Christian don’t even make him a Christian you ever think of that.

▶ 20:40 Faith must be followed up on and the demons didn’t follow they rebelled. And I right. See they rebelled against God Satan rebelled against God and he was made to do that also the other aspect is. Church leaders just in it to pay their mortgage have a nice fancy car a big fancy executive home and all the rest that’s a hireling he’s just in it to take what he can from the sheep to make his life better are you there now a harling can also be an honest delegated leader he does get paid but he’s not there for the pay.

▶ 21:34 All right and as a young minister growing through the ranks once or twice a year God would challenge me why are you here is this a job now to you. And I had to check my heart I had to check my spirit and then the big test count we had splits in this church big ones too. Okay. This is where the hireling when the problems come in the church they run. An. Honest delegated leader will hold his position because God gave it to it okay he’ll take the abuse or she they’ll take the blame or whatever but they’re going to hang in there because they care for the sheep like Jesus does now that was good.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 10:12-13 (NKJV)

But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.

How should church leaders handle money?

▶ Watch this part (22:34)

Short answer: Paul worked as a tentmaker. He challenges megachurch ministers with Rolls-Royces and executive homes to show their income-tax reports, and churches to show their spending. Jesus owns the sheep, bought with his life. When the hireling sees the wolf he leaves, and the scattering is what a church split is.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 22:34 Hallelujah. Okay. Remember Paul worked as a tentmaker to preach the gospel to people a lot of pastors a lot of church leaders wouldn’t think of doing that they want you to give a lot of money so they can send it to the orphanages across the world and get credit for it they want you to give your money so they can drive a rolls-royce silver shadow live in a 10,000 square foot executive home and all the rest and nothing’s too good for the man of God do they want you to do it all they don’t give anything check their income tax. If they think our president should show their income tax get these big megachurch ministers showing their income tax report let’s see what kind of Christian they are are you there.

▶ 23:27 In fact get the churches to show what they’re spending their money on you’re going to be shocked at the alcohol bill and the fluff bill that they’re paying for that’s unnecessary and unbiblical. Okay. The hireling does not own the sheep who owns the sheep Jesus what did he buy him with his life he gave his life you can’t pay a bigger price than your own life you see the greater love has no man than he lay down his life for his friends. He cares not for the sheep he could care the least of the sheep or fed or healthy or whatever he just wants the wool he wants the milk he wants the meat he wants what he can get out of the sheep.

▶ 24:23 So when the hireling sees the wolf coming now the wolf is introduced he leaves the sheep. Now when I get your brain thinking. Does the church leader have any more responsibility to do right than a regular pew Christian. Now we’re all supposed to do right aren’t we if the church leader is supposed to care for and love the sheep and give their life for it what is the pew Christian supposed to do they can badmouth the sheep they can mistreat them no way the same moral standard is for all of us he just takes one out and makes him a leader.

▶ 25:19 Got it. How do you act when problems come. How do you respond. So the hireling lets the wolf in and where’s the hireling he’s guiding the he’s guarding the gate yeah he just comes in I don’t have to sneak in over the fence he just comes in down he has a heyday so he catches. He catches some sheep and the others run out the door and never what a church splits all about. No it’s sad it’s really sad. And so the sheep is scattered.

▶ 26:12 See when we don’t keep Jesus in a his position of authority when we let people come in or their for their own gain their own purpose they want a position or they want something out of the church recognition or whatever sooner or later that church is going to split and some of those innocent Christians have to be sought out and found. Because they can’t handle it then we know what’s going on. So who is the wolf. Like the thief and the lion and the bear they want the milk they want the wool they want the meat they want the sheep they want something out of it without putting anything into it who is the wolf. The wolf.

Who is the wolf?

▶ Watch this part (27:07)

Short answer: Matthew 7:15: false prophets in sheep’s clothing, inwardly ravening wolves—extortioners who speak lies. Not atheists, but people acting like Christians outwardly. Acts 20:29–30: grievous wolves speak perverse things to draw away disciples after themselves—like claims of a 16-foot angel.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 27:07 Matthew 7:15 beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves they are robbers extortioners that’s what that word means they come to wrong they come to extort they come to bully you. To get you to give them something recognition money whatever and so a they are false prophets they speak lies. Right they speak lies but see if you don’t know your Bible you don’t know their lie and if you don’t check with the church leaders. what they’re telling you if you hear it enough you’ll believe a lie. They’re not in Devil’s clothing they don’t come as a lion they don’t come wrapped in a wolf’s clothing they don’t come and a bear clothing they don’t come like the lone ranger with a mask on there to steal they come outwardly talking and looking and acting like a Christian outward.

▶ 28:28 Okay so it’s not the atheists have to worry about here see it’s not the secular humanists that we know they’re wolves it’s people that are acting like externally Christians and they are not internally they are robbers they are there to get what they want out of the sheep. Oh that’s good stuff. Acts 20 verse 29 after I depart Paul says I know grievous wolf shall enter in among you not sparing the flock and what do they use to destroy the flock speaking perverse things distorted things things that turn you from right.

▶ 29:22 To wrong. See it’s the mouth is how you and their behavior is how you judge these people. They speak perverse things they draw away disciples after. Them follow me man I’m mature now follow me I got special insight a 16-foot angel came into my room and just changed my life and that sounds so spiritual except in the Bible there’s no 16 feet angels and one of these angels was a woman there is no women angels there’s not even male angels angels don’t have sexual organs they’re just angels.

What does “wise as serpents” mean?

▶ Watch this part (30:18)

Short answer: Matthew 10:16: sheep in the midst of wolves; wise means practical and sensible. In the parable of the unjust steward (Luke 16), the children of this world are wiser—they unite to do wrong. Christians in America should unite on a moral stand; Hebrews 10:25 says don’t forsake assembling.

▶ 30:18 When they manifest themselves they will manifest as a person you understand I mean if they had manifested himself as a dragon would run. But spirits don’t have sexual organs they’re neither male nor female [unclear] but it’s just a bunch of nonsense. They don’t want to draw disciples after Jesus they don’t want to direct you to Jesus Christ they don’t want to direct you to the Bible they want to direct you to their doctrine their leadership. I’m called of God. Matthew 10:16 I send you forth as sheep in the midst of

▶ 31:16 Wolf in other words there’s a lot of false prophets and false Christians because the false prophets act like Christians but inside are not they have not been born again they’re not a new creature they are not committed to following Christ. But they put on all the external if they’re in the Catholic church they kneel they do the whatever you know if they’re in the Pentecostal church [unclear] in the Baptist church oh no tongues for today [unclear] and you can’t wear pants and you can’t wear cut your hair and you can’t wear jewelry my goodness gracious. All distractions from the Bible and Jesus.

▶ 32:19 Now. Good old King James again. Be wise as serpents I don’t know if you read your Bible lately. But there’s never anything spoken good a serpent’s in the Bible. And the closest I can find is we don’t understand the serpent moving up on the rock well I do understand he’s out there sunbathing because he can’t regulate his body temperature so he’s out there soaking in the rays so he can function so I can bite you. All right the word wise there is not the word wise that you think it is it just simply means practical and sensible.

▶ 33:14 My goodness when I read that as the young Christian I thought. You know it was the elite the wise ones back there in the Old Testament but it’s just sensible practical let me know we need to be practical and sensible. Okay but why is he say as serpents serpents is always related to Satan his followers his demons am I right. So I’m going to try to shine a little light on this in Luke Christ gave a parable of the unjust steward. The Lord had given this steward control over his wealth and the steward misused the lord’s money.

▶ 34:07 Cheated the Lord and the Lord caught him so this unjust steward says what I’m going to do I’m going to get fired man I don’t want to become a beggar anything so I don’t know what I’ll do before I get fired I’ll go and I’ll say you owe my Lord a hundred bushels of wheat I’m going to change it to 25 you owe him a hundred barrels of oil I’m going to change it to 50 alright so when the Lord finally brought him before him and kicked him out finally. He had these friends out there that he could go to they did him a favor and that’s the way the world works you do me a favor I’ll do you a favor yeah yeah and so Jesus said the children of this world are wiser than the children of light.

▶ 35:01 Now how many you know in the Bible that’s not true the children of this world are stupid in the Bible and I right yeah the fool says is in his heart there is no God yeah. So what’s Jesus talking about. This unjust person went to other unjust persons those people he let reduce the bill was also unjust what they they knew what they you owed they knew what their debt was so they united. They use practical common sense to unite are the homosexuals and the secular humanists and the atheist united against the church in America right now absolutely.

▶ 35:56 He says you guys need to be practical and sensible like the people of the world they unite to do wrong they bind together to do wrong you need to bind together to do right. [unclear] and what do we got in America they got the Catholic the Baptist 120 different Baptist we got the Presbyterian the Methodist the Lutheran the pentecostals the charismatic he and I need brethren the un-united brethren the hopefully united brethren whatever we got all these groups and we’re in a nation where we have freedom of speech and freedom of religion and we cannot be practical and agree on a moral stand and unite and change America.

▶ 36:51 Serpents also know that when the cold weather comes that their body cannot handle it so they go into snake dens and they don’t hibernate they do something else it’s like hibernation yeah their body doesn’t totally shut down but through the winter and then the spring comes they get into mating balls on all this stuff see they work together. Doesn’t the Bible say don’t forsake the assembling of yourself together even the more so as you see the day approaching provoking one another to love and do good works doesn’t it say that doesn’t it say that they that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of their God doesn’t he say we need to come together we need to build up one another and we need to get this stream going out the door and into the dry and dead desert in the dead sea in know what the Bible says amen that’s what the church is all for you know some of us we have the hard times and we get down the church is here to pick you up some of us want to change God’s word and and and give permission to sin we’re here to say stay on the right track amen.

Are Christians to be harmless?

▶ Watch this part (38:10)

Short answer: Harmless means innocent and pure. We fight the good warfare: the word is a sword, a hammer and a fire. The dove pictures the Holy Spirit—holy, pure, innocent. We attack the kingdom of darkness with the word, not with hate.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 38:10 [unclear]. Now. Good old King James harmless as doves as the biggest misunderstanding that’s come into the church that I know of harmless that’s what the people done it when I was protesting the protesters or homosexuals we got to love them we’re just harmless Christians we don’t do anything you know we just we just love them. That word harmless really means innocent pure. Good old King James got us distracted folks are we to fight the fight of a good warfare is the word a sword is the word a hammer is the word a fire are those three harmless no way.

▶ 39:20 We’re not a bunch of harmless little foofy people we are an army and we have weapons and we gotta rise up and use them to save those that are in the entrapment of the kingdom of darkness to set them free amen. Now. The dove is always used in the Bible as something great something pure. The Holy Ghost came on Jesus in the form of a dove what’s the first name of the ghost holy pure. Innocent. So we are to what be wholly innocent. We’re not to be harmless we got to attack the kingdom of darkness we got to attack in Jesus’ name with the word it’s not that we get hate for people or anything we just use the word we speak the word the word works.

Can false prophets do wonders?

▶ Watch this part (40:29)

Short answer: Many false prophets will show great signs and wonders. Egypt’s sorcerers could only do what God allowed. 2 Peter 2:1, Jude 4 and 1 Timothy 4:1–3: denying the Lord, turning grace into lewdness, forbidding to marry, abstaining from foods—still with us today, along with prosperity teaching and “imminent” return claims.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 40:29 Alright. Beware of men why they come to you in sheep’s clothing they come to get something out of here they come to distort the truth beware of people. Many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many and show great signs and wonders now this word sign can be a ceremonial sign a ritual sign or a miracle sign but this word wonders is absolutely supernatural so false prophets can do a supernatural thing that only God can do and you say how can that be well. Let’s go back to Egypt. There were sorcerers down there wizards necromancer’s in Egypt.

▶ 41:24 counseling Pharaoh’s throne am I right were they down there changing water to blood now is there any record of that no even in the egyptian history there’s no record of that were they changing sticks to snakes no. Were they bringing frogs up out of the river no in fact they needed to put the frogs back in the river but God only allowed him to what bring more frogs. See God allowed them before God allowed them they weren’t doing anything. See they didn’t need more blood they needed water if their power was any kind of power at all they would have change the blood back to water but they couldn’t they could only do what God allowed them to do and in Deuteronomy what did he say you would do if a prophet comes to you and gives you a sign a supernatural manifestation but divert you from God his message that hurt you from God it is the Lord testing you you know what he said are we going to fall for supernatural as an expression of a real Christian are we going to stand with the word the message is the deciding factor can I hear an amen.

▶ 42:56 Alleluia. There will be false teachers among you bringing in damnable heresies okay and here’s what they [unclear] this is what they teach number one. Denying the Lord that bought them the liberal church in America since the 1700s have denied that Jesus were born of a virgin they deny that he did any miracles they deny that he rose from the dead and he’s coming back again they deny that there’s a hell they deny that. What I’m trying to show you is the doctrines that were false in the Bible are still with us today that’s what I’m trying to show you all right Jude for certain men crept in unnoticed ungodly men who turned the grace.

▶ 43:53 Say the word grace of God into lewdness lasciviousness lustfulness and deny our Lord Jesus by what their behavior and that’s what Timothy said with the mouth they profess to know God but by works they disowned him their lifestyle shows that they have nothing to do with Christ and we got it today in. The name of grace people are doing everything getting drunk having sex taking drugs oh hell and save our grace do you say that not of itself it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast and the very next sentence says God saved us to do good works look good works amen.

▶ 44:51 And so we have the same stuff in first Timothy 4:1 in the latter times some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits from the face faith in Jesus faith in the Bible in its truth and doctrines of Devil’s speaking lies in hypocrisy number 2 forbidding to marry who does that [unclear] well our priests and nuns are married to Jesus again. You’re going to have sex with Jesus you’re gonna have babies with Jesus you’re going to have a household with Jesus come on Jesus belongs to all of us can I hear an amen. Well we do things like that it’s not just the Catholics you know if I stay unmarried I’ll be real spiritual yeah right.

▶ 45:44 Then you got commanding to abstain from foods can eat pork. can’t eat catfish. Which Jesus said all that stuff goes into the mouth and to the stomach and into the toilet that’s what Jesus that he said that stuff can’t defile you unless it’s alcohol or drugs that distort your thinking that can cause you to act but eating a piece of pork does not do anything to make you lust after something or sin am I right it just goes to the toilet and out to the wherever gulf. And so what do we do we tell people that can’t wear jewelry we tell people they can’t cut their hair we tell people that can’t wear pants with these churches tell people can’t have a beard you know none of these things folks defile you Jesus it’s what comes out of the heart and it is brought forth in action and behavior that’s what defiles you that’s what makes you impure amen and so we have all this stuff is still with us today it was with them back then.

▶ 47:05 Gain is godliness from such withdraw yourself by having food and raiment be with content the prosperity movement it was back there just like it is here today and people will follow what they want to follow. Right. The God promised to bless us with food clothing and shelter yes and we can be content with that we don’t have to have a rolls-royce on a 10,000 square foot executive home to show how spiritual we are or a five-thousand-dollar suit or whatever. Be not shaken in mind by spirit or by word nor by letter as from us that the day of the Lord is at hand they had the same thing back then imminent the day of the Lord is imminent having heard that word on tv you’ll hear it all the time that the coming of the Lord is imminent imminent suddenly it’s going to come as a surprise going to come at any time everything has already been fulfilled and at any time it can happen the same stuff is with us today when the Bible says plainly the certain things have to be done before he comes and they’re not done they’re just not done and I’ve been saying since the 70s Christ will not come in my lifetime.

▶ 48:29 Now he hasn’t. Are you there check 40 years ago and he hasn’t came why there are saying that has to be done every scripture has to be fulfilled not just what’s happening with Israel every scripture and the church is your main ingredient avoid godliness and vain babbling opposition of science falsely so called with some professing have heard concerning the faith what is that today evolution. In a a lot of churches and a lot of Christians let science rule above God and they had the same problem back in the New Testament back in Christ day it’s a false or something God never violate science he created it am I right yeah.

useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. Which sheep will never perish?

▶ Watch this part (49:28)

Short answer: John 10:27–28: my sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me; I give them eternal life and none shall snatch them. The promises are for sheep who hear and follow; it doesn’t cover those who say they can do anything because they are saved by grace.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 49:28 All right real quickly here my sheep here is Jesus’s sheep my sheep hear my voice I know my sheep and they follow me that’s Jesus is she right one more a stranger they will not follow John 10:5 but will flee from the stranger for they know not the voice of a stranger the sheep know his voice now this is important for you because there are some people say once saved always saved I want to make this clear to you watch this he plainly tells us who his sheep is doesn’t he doesn’t he yeah. Now he’s going to give the promises to these sheep I. Will give them eternal life.

▶ 50:22 They shall never perish neither shall any one snatch them out of my hand what sheep won’t be snatched out of his hand what sheep won’t perish and what sheep has eternal life the ones that hear his voice the ones that know them that’s that born-again thing. God comes personally to you and we follow him we love him by obeying his word we follow him and we won’t listen to strangers when they speak the opposite of Christ we flee from him. Hallelujah but a lot of people quote this well I believe in God I’m his sheep you know no matter what I do I can go out on my wife you know I cannot pay my bills I can yeah I don’t matter I’m saved by grace through faith hallelujah and they use scriptures like this but when you read them in the context they’re not that kind of sheep are they are they.

▶ 51:33 I am the Lord besides me there is no savior. There is no shepherd I have proclaimed and I have saved I’ve backed up my word I. Not some foreign God’s strange God among. Why because we don’t follow the voice of the stranger. Amen. Jesus is the key to it all.
