We have been studying out of uh John chapter 11. And uh today we’re going to take. Another look at John chapter 11. Uh the Jews remember there were six people six characters. In this story in this. In these verses. That. We’re using here Jews are one of them. The Jews had seen Jesus do past miracles. And they still rejected him.

▶ 34:43 And his present. Plan. We pick up in verse 33. When the Jews therefore. Therefore means for this reason. When for this reason Jesus saw mary weeping remember mary is the one that said at his feet worshiping him listening to his word all the deeper life lady. Okay. Mary is weeping. The deeper life lady is weeping. And the Jews also weeping. Which came with her for this reason he groaned. He groaned because they were weeping.

▶ 35:37 Grown here means and it’s used throughout the New Testament as displeased he was displeased he was angry. Because they were weeping. And. He was troubled. He was stirred like Herod was when the wise men came. Looking for king Jesus. Herod was stirred because he was concerned that there’s another king beside him Jesus can is concerned because these people who saw his miracles. These people who worshiped him and listened to his word. Were mourning and weeping. When he had already said that he wanted to raise Lazarus from the dead.

▶ 36:34 Remember he said to his great apostles. The ones that have been doing. Uh miracles healing the sick casting out devils preaching the gospel people getting saved and following Christ these great apostles. He told them this sickness is not unto death but for the glory of God. And that the son of God may be glorified through it this sickness is going to bring honor and praise to God and his son Jesus Christ and they don’t get it. He had also said. Lazarus to his apostles Lazarus sleeps. But I go to wake him up they said if he’s sleeping he’s doing okay Jesus said he’s sleeping in death he’s dead.

▶ 37:28 Now Jesus said his sickness is not unto death and Lazarus died. Okay. But he’s going to resurrect him from the dead. Now Martha. He told Martha your brother will rise again. And so Jesus. He’s groaning he is displeased he is angry he is stirred because these people should be happy they should be looking forward to God being glorified and Lazarus being raised from the dead and they’re so hung up on their past belief and their past experiences they cannot see and believe in the present thing God wants to do did I make that clear.

▶ 38:22 Hallelujah. Jesus had said before these people are dull of hearing. Could we be dull of hearing. Jesus had told. The people that came to him asking questions your hearts are. Hard you don’t understand scriptures and you don’t understand the power of God. God is going to raise Lazarus from the dead by his power. The Bible says the kingdom is not in speech but in power. And Jesus has come to demonstrate God’s power by raising Lazarus from the dead and his followers even the deeper life club Martha was the complainer Martha was the busy one Martha was worried that he she worried and and and she was troubled about many things whatever area you’re in.

▶ 39:31 God loves you but that doesn’t bring. Resurrection in your life. God loves me yes he loves you but he wants to raise you from the dead he wants to minister in your life whatever condition you are in he wants to change it could that be an amen. And that’s found in Mark 12:25. So. Verse 33 says when Jesus there I’m sorry verse 34 Jesus said where have you laid him and they said to Jesus Lord come and see Jesus wept oh it’s amazing to me. In my years of serving God how people can cry and the lame duck people.

▶ 40:27 They love people that that that weep. You know drug addicts can cry at the drop of a hat. And the lame duck syndrome people the ones oh this poor brother oh. They can get whatever they want by crying and giving you a sob. Story. So they interpreted Jesus weeping. As. It says in verse 36 then the Jews. Said behold how he loved him. Look Jesus loved him before he was sick Jesus loved him before he was dead Jesus loved them before this account and Jesus wasn’t weeping back there when he loved them.

▶ 41:25 Weeping does not have to be the only time you meet with God amen. Hallelujah. We put such an emphasis on weeping. Morning. Ah. They should be rejoicing they should be dancing like we were this morning the Holy Ghost will set your feet the dancing Lazarus are going to be raised from the grave but no they’re oh down in the dumps sad songs. So many Christians can only touch God through sad songs. Verse 37. Some said could not this man. Some of the Jews okay some of the Jews.

▶ 42:20 Said could not this man which opened the eyes of the blind have caused that this man should not have died. Now here we go. Here it is again it was in Martha it was in mary it was in the apostles and now it’s in the Jews that saw the miracles he did they admitted it they saw him open the eyes of the blind they saw him heal the sick. But they didn’t receive him they rejected Jesus for their religion. They rejected the power of God that’s going to be demonstrated in this verses for their religion. And church I’m telling you in America we got a lot of religion.

▶ 43:24 Hallelujah. Miracles are very important. The power of God demonstrated is very important. And it’s not for us to just feel good enough. It is for God to deliver heal set free. Strengthen. Cause people to grow. Not just to make us feel good. You know. Alcohol and drug addicts take them things to feel good to escape the reality of what’s around them we cannot use the presence of God to escape the reality around us because when you leave that presence those realities are still there the presence of God comes to change the realities around us.

▶ 44:26 The situations around us. Amen. These Jews. Saw the miracles and rejected Jesus. Jesus therefore. Therefore means. For this reason again groaned see why is he groaning why is he displeased why is he angry because they saw miracles before and they rejected him. Martha and mary and the apostles saw the miracles the apostles were even doing miracles and they rejected what Christ wanted to do with Lazarus today and this is the condition of the church in America.

▶ 45:24 We can’t see past the doom and gloom people. We can’t see past the perilous time the falling away people. One of the worst doctrines that hit America is the pre-tribulation rapture theory it’s got everybody thinking we’re in the last days into the falling away and perilous times are here and the great tribulation is coming no God wants to resurrect the church amen. The church isn’t dead yet it may be sick it may be weak in America but Christ wants to resurrect the church in America. Amen. He wants to change. The realities around us. John chapter 2 verse 23 many believed in his name when they saw the signs which he did.

▶ 46:21 Miracles are important church. When you watch mega church ministries today you never see an emphasis on healing the sick and miracle you see an emphasis on prospering. You see an emphasis on accepting everybody the way they are you don’t hear good old-fashioned sin preaching that same sex is wrong sex out of marriage is wrong. Intoxication is wrong are you with me. We’re just motivating Christians. And when you don’t have the motivator you need someone to motivate you. But in John 12:37 although he had done many miracles. Before them they did not believe in him wow.

▶ 47:18 And that’s what these Jews were they were there comforting they were neighbors and acquaintances and they were there comforting mary and Martha but they could not give them the hope of life. See I’m being a good religious Jew by coming I brought some food for you and oh I feel so bad for you and oh I’m deep my deepest condolences to you Martha and mary no. Jesus is out there. Good grief when Jesus is out there folks. That changes everything could that be an amen. I want to remind.

▶ 48:16 Us today and the church throughout the world. Daniel 2 verse 21. God changes the times and the seasons. Don’t blame Biden and the democratic party. For the season we are in in America. God gave us this season for a reason. Wow that was good. All right we want to blame they want to blame the republicans republican blame them God. Changes the times in the season and we went from Trump to Biden on November 3rd back there one day bam everything changed.

▶ 49:10 And everything really changed on inauguration day when Biden signed all these executive orders. And we want to attack Biden and the democratic party well. If God does the changing we need to go to God. And we need to go to his word. How many of you know the Bible says. He that hath a year let him hear what the spirit is saying to the church. Let me know it says that seven times in Revelation. How many you know it is difficult for a minister to get before God and continually. Find messages that the spirit is saying to the church. You can’t just get a book in the Christian bookstore. And hear what God is saying to a church a church and the church.

▶ 50:03 Amen. And we need to open our ears to hear what God is saying to the church in America and every local church could that be an amen. We don’t need to hear the greatest motivational speakers we need the Holy Ghost talking to us and that’s what he’s doing today he’s talking to you in the season you are in is this the season we’re in yes we’re in a tough season in America then he says he removes kings and raises up kings God put Biden in there. God put harris there. Why. Why God would you do such a thing well it’s pretty obvious. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

▶ 50:57 God gave us Trump. Who was a womanizer and had some flaws but tremendous economic principles tremendous foreign policy principles tremendous protecting America and its border principles a lot of great principles God gave us. That season and we rejoiced in it. But didn’t change. You think Trump. Thought up all that stuff on his own. You know he bragged about having an iq but iq doesn’t mean a hill of bean. Clinton hillary clinton has a great high iq I don’t mean anything I mean you know the wisdom from above is what makes the difference amen now you know it’s obvious that God deposited some wisdom from above into president Trump for four years could that be true whether you like him or not.

▶ 52:08 Our economy shot up God showed showed us. That we could prosper again if we made sound and right decisions. In the house of representatives they’re trying to pass a bill hr1. That eliminates any voting. License any voting. Investigations everybody can vote in other words they’re opening up the whole nation to ballot harvesting. And ballot harvesting is what lost that last election because of the corruption and they can you can say what you want. But the corruption in government the corruption and the judicial system of the judges is horrible in America and we’re not changing it.

▶ 53:03 The corruption in God’s church is horrible. When you’ve got churches saying that homosexuality is okay and you know it’s a normal lifestyle and and babies can be murdered because the adults they got to have freedom to have sex whenever they want and if they don’t want the kid then we kill the kid. Are you there. We legalize marijuana in the name of some kind of medicine come on folks cocaine is used as a medicine that doesn’t make it right to take it for recreation does it. But Christians. They’re not changing. So God put us back into another season trying to wake us up it’s so obvious it’s so simple.

▶ 54:08 Ah. Acts 13:22. God removed king Saul who removed king Saul who chose king Saul yeah God chose the guy. And the guy went south in sin. So God removed him. And God gave them David. God raised up who raised up David to be king God did who raised a Biden to be the president God did. The most high rules and the kingdoms of men and he gives it to whomsoever he desires even the basis of men and you can’t get more base and low than Biden and harris. But church.

▶ 55:04 We in the church are sinning. And we didn’t. Change. Israel has sinned in Joshua 7:11. Israel has sinned that’s why they couldn’t defeat their enemy. God gave us a reprisal for four years in 2016 and the church did not change. You know the Bible says. That he would that. All men everywhere would lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting there are churches that will not lift their hands to worship God the Bible says to praise the Lord in the dance there are churches.

▶ 56:06 These churches think they’re smarter than God there’s so many Christians out there that think they’re smarter than God. That they think dancing before God’s abomination yet they’ll go out to the and disco and shake the booty and everything else out there you think conservatives are going to win this nation conservative sin I met with them in coalition meetings and all that they sin. They use profanity like a truck driver. They just flat out sin they’ll dance to the disco and they won’t dance before God and they think because they’ve got conservatives some conservative principles in them that we’re going to conquer the world no it’s righteousness that exalts a nation it’s not conservatism it’s righteousness.

▶ 57:04 Could that be an amen. Pilate. To please the crowd. Beat. Jesus. And had him crucified. To please the crowd. Is it important that we obey the first commandment and assemble and petition our government for our grievances yes it is and that’s one of America’s unique sins because other nations of the world won’t even let you protest. And we have the freedom to protest and petition we can sue the government. And we don’t do it.

▶ 57:58 The church in America has a unique sin only to America we are silent when we should be speaking out. Could that be an amen. That we want to come into church and you know. Back in the hippie days it was music groups was a thing everybody had a music group although everything was music group stuff music group stuff. And they would assemble to hear the latest music group sing the messages of the kingdom. But they weren’t changing their lifestyle. Now we got worship. Worship groups just get a keyboard a bass guitar and a guitar.

▶ 58:50 And let’s just worship Jesus and go back to drinking our alcohol and dancing and and using profanity and you know just get high on. Jesus and then go right out the door and go right back to sin am I right yes. The baptists think they’re just coming to church and and just singing a couple of hymns amazing grace and the road is called up yonder and never lifting your hands and never shouting unto God with the voice of triumph he gives us all these ways to praise him and the baptists think they’re smarter than God we don’t want to show any. Emotion. We’re not changing yes the baptists are at fault the baptists are the one that came up with this free salvation stuff. Salvation is not free whoever told you that where does it say that in the Bible if salvation was free why did Christ die on the cross.

▶ 59:52 Did he purchase us when he died on the cross you are not your own you are what bought with a price it cost his life to save you. And because he saved you and delivered. You. From the slavery of Satan. He expects you to serve him now is that. Bible. Hallelujah. It’s these motivational speakers that came up with. God’s love is unconditional that’s a lie it never says that in the Bible you have to hear the word you have to confess your sins you have to turn from those sin those are conditions folks.

And the pentecostals and the charismatics they come in and they they worship God and the power of God comes and they just want to jitterbug and shakamullah. And then go out the door. And hate their neighbor hate their children hate their husband hate their wives mistreat them talk about them they they don’t work and church the presence doesn’t come for us to shake. The presence doesn’t come for us to stand there like a statue and not be conformed into his image it says not don’t be conformed to this world doesn’t it but be transformed. We need to be transformed and changed into his image if you’re not lifting your hands if you’re not dancing if you’re not singing and shouting his praises you are disobeying God and you are saying we’re smarter than God.

▶ 1:02:03 You got Christians that won’t even discipline their children. As the Bible says smarter than God. Are you out there and I’ve got to stop my time is up. The bottom line the Holy Ghost is saying. We need a miracle in America. God wants to change the church in America and he wants to change our nation forget this Jesus is coming any minute nonsense. Let’s allow Jesus to resurrect America and resurrect his church could that be an amen did he promise times the refreshing would come from the presence of the Lord did he promise the restoration of all things can he restore America back to its greatness can he restore the church in America back to its greatness amen.

Yes and we’re not going to get it thinking it’s a falling away time and you know it’s the last day time and Jesus is coming in a minute that we’re going to get it by assembling and and getting the government to please us because we’re going to drive them nuts as it says Jesus said the the the lady came to the judge with her grievances and and he wouldn’t answer because she kept coming he finally said this woman’s going to drive me crazy what do you want lady let me let me solve your problem. We need to do that. We need to go to our government and do this stuff. When king rehoboam did not listen to Israel they left.

▶ 1:04:00 That kingdom prepared their own king and their own kingdom they petitioned Jeroboam and said listen Solomon killed us with taxes. Solomon was tough on us. We want lower taxes and we want freedom to work on our projects not Solomon’s anymore Solomon had building houses and temples and everything else they said we want to relieve and the real bomb wouldn’t listen to them that they said nuts on you reborn we’ll get our own king and we’ll start our own nation. The point is this church if we stay silent nothing is going to happen and this is why we got Biden and harris and the democratic socialist party running the nation now because we have sin in the church and it’s just not sexual sin.

Drug sins and alcohol sins and those sin we have a sin for allowing innocent people in America especially children being hurt and being killed and we are doing nothing about it. We need to let Jesus arise in us we need to let him arise in our nation and arise in the church and if you believe that and agree with that would you stand wherever you are here in the sanctuary or out there in facebook land and let’s sing the chorus I dare to believe that miracles happen God can change the church God can change me and God can change our nation amen.
