Zechariah’s golden candlestick reveals restoration’s dominant factor: not might or power but God’s Spirit. Leaders bring forth the headstone, Jesus. Believers go beyond first principles, add virtue to virtue through God’s promises, and walk in love, without which nothing profits.

What did Zechariah see?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: A candlestick all of gold with a bowl like a spring and seven lamps.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 0:00 In Zechariah, we will be in Zechariah chapter 4. Zechariah saw a candlestick all of gold. Okay, this is what he saw. The candlestick all of gold with a bowl on top of it. There’s the bowl right there. That word bowl also means fountain or spring. Now, I grew up in Kentucky as a country boy, a mountain boy, and we had springs. And when that water would come out of the ground, it would kind of wear off in years or so forth, and there would be a little area where you could literally bend over and put your mouth down there and drink, uh, a little bowl, a little reservoir where the water come out of the ground right in front of it, and then it would roll down.

▶ 0:51 And so, this bowl is a spring. And, and you’ll see why later. And there are seven lamps on top of the candlestick. There’s the seven lamps, individual lamps. And there’s seven pipes from the bowl to the candlestick. Okay? And two olive trees has been put in by your versions of the Bible. But it doesn’t necessarily mean trees. It’s used as olives or trees. It can be. It’s used either way. It’s very interchangeable. There’s two olive trees. So, we have the trees here for you you who want a tree. For people like me, I want my olives.

▶ 1:45 Okay? Why do I want the olive? Because that’s where the oil comes from. See, the oil comes from the olive. All right. Now, up on the right and left side of the bowl, this fountain, this spring, is where the two olive trees or olives are. So, I spoke to the angel, “What are these things, my Lord?” And the angel spoke back, “You don’t know. You don’t know what this stuff is, church. Do you know what he’s talking about? Do you feel like Zachariah? And then and then God, you know what this means? Like what’s with you? And of course, Zechariah says, “No, I don’t know.” Now, a lot of people are going to go to this with their little juvenile baby approach to the word of God, and they’re going to do a little concordance search, and they’re going to hook it up with the two olive trees and Revelations, the two witnesses.

Scripture (NKJV)

Zechariah 4:2-3 (NKJV)

And he said to me, “What do you see?” So I said, “I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps. Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left.”

What is the dominant factor?

▶ Watch this part (2:55)

Short answer: Not by might nor power but by My Spirit—not natural abilities; abroad the dead are being raised.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 2:55 They’re going to hook it up, and they’re going to come up with a concoction of different stories. When I got on the internet, I couldn’t believe how many versions of this there is. But I want to tell you something. The angel is going to tell him what these things are. Are you ready for it? And it is this simple. The meaning of the seven lamps, the candlestick, the seven pipes, the bowl, and the two olives. Are you ready? Here it is. This is the word of the Lord. That’s the word of the Lord. A picture of a candlestick, a bowl, and two olives. Yep. That’s what the angel says. This is the word of the Lord. The word of the Lord of host. Who is the Lord of hosts? Jesus Christ. This is the word of the Lord of hosts.

▶ 3:47 The word of Jesus to Zerubbable. Who is Zerubbable? The silver leader that is building the house of God. Joshua is the spiritual leader. Building the house of God. United. They are building the house of God with the people of God doing the work right very now I tell you you’ll really gain something if you listen today now and here’s the meaning not by might and this word might is used as ability see I God don’t care about your music ability He doesn’t care about your singing ability. He doesn’t care about your speaking ability. He doesn’t care about your organization abilities.

▶ 4:41 He don’t need them. America’s church has got it all wrong. It’s not by natural abilities. It’s not by wealth. You know, people that have money think they can just buy people into the kingdom. I tried to tell people in past days, you can’t do that. They got to be born again. They got to be placed in by God himself. You cannot bribe people into the kingdom. It won’t last. They wouldn’t listen. It didn’t last. And neither did they. Now, isn’t this good so far? And you can’t do it by the power of an army, the might of an army. The Muslims are wrong when they put bombs on people and go in and blow up people trying to promote the the Muslim religion.

▶ 5:37 No, God doesn’t need our armies. And it’s not by power. The word powers there just means strictly human strength. You know, name it, claim it, believe it, get it. If I repeat it enough, it will happen. Those Pentecostals are bad for that. In America, not in South America, Africa, and Asia. 64 million are coming to Christ every year in those nations. 64 million. God is moving. The next awakening has already begun. And America and Europe is not part of it. I’m serious.

▶ 6:29 They’re raising the dead over there. Literally corpses, not afterlife experience or after death. I’m talking about people were dead and they prayed and God rose them up, raised them back up. I’m talking about serious physical healings. I’m talking about drug addicts getting delivered by the power of God, not a 12step procedure. Alcoholics. I’m talking about homosexuals turning their life around, not they’re born that way and can’t be changed. I’m talking about the power of God. They teach kingdom power over there. God’s moving. How many want to be a part of that? God, I’m in America. Don’t don’t don’t punish me for being in America. I’m ready for this. Come on. It’s not by these things, but by my what?

▶ 7:23 That’s what all that means. Seven lamps on the candlestick, seven pipes, the bowl, and the two olives. He’s telling you this is done. This house that is built is going to be built by the spirit of God. End of subject. Amen. Now, isn’t that clear and easy to understand? Yeah. You don’t need no Hebrew thing or anything else. You just need to listen to what God’s saying. Now watch. He’s not stopped here. He’s building this house by the spirit. Who are you, oh great mountain before Zerubbable, you will become a plain? Okay. Jesus said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you say to that mountain, be removed and be cast in the sea, and it shall be done unto you.” Now listen.

Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV)

What will leadership bring forth?

▶ Watch this part (8:19)

Short answer: The headstone—Jesus—with shouts of grace; leave the first principles and go on.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 8:19 And us Pentecostals and I was in a Pentecostal circles, man. I went out to Salac Mountain to show my faith and I said, “Salabac Mountain, get into the sea.” And that mountain just stayed right there. I go, “Lord, there’s something wrong here, man. They’re telling me if I name it, claim it, speak it, do it, get it, and all this stuff, ain’t it ain’t working.” You know, Jesus walked on water and and and Peter walked on water. So, I put my bathtub full of water and got in there and what? I just sunk right to the bottom. You’re laughing cuz some of you’ve done some of these stupid things. The mountain is obstacles. It’s the obstacle. And how we know it’s an obstacle? Because the spirit is going to remove the mountain. It’s going to flatten that mountain so you can walk right through it. You don’t have to get delivered from it.

▶ 9:12 You’re going to go right through it. Cuz see, we have a destiny. We have a goal. And God is going by the spirit remove every obstacle. Can I hear a praise God? Yes. And obstacles are good for us because we have to rely on God to perform it. We can’t get through it on our own abilities and our own strength and psychology and 12step procedures. We need to rely on the power of God to get us through these obstacles. They’re good for us. It increases our faith. It increases our spiritual strength. Number two, Zerubbable shall bring forth the headstone. Now, who did we learn in past lessons? The stone was Jesus. The headstone is Jesus. See, the rubbable’s telling us what’s going to happen.

▶ 10:06 You see, leadership is going to bring forth a headstone, Jesus. And if they’re not bringing forth Jesus, they’re not real leaders. Shouting. What’s that word? What word are they shouting? Grace. Grace. Some people are scared to death to shout. Listen, the Bible says, “Clap your hands, all you people, and shout unto God with a voice of triumph when you do these things.” The next verse says, “He will subdue the nations under us and the people under us and all nations under our feet.” When we what? When we sing and shout unto him. Clap your hands and shout unto him. See, what we did today is Bible. It’s weapons of war. That America in their starchy traditional nonsense just sit there and refuse to do.

▶ 11:05 But this is what releases the power of heaven. As you will see. You’re going to see. Hallelujah. Now, isn’t it by grace that Jesus comes to us? Nothing else by by his favor. Yeah. We can’t earn it. We can’t buy it. We just respond and God’s grace brings Jesus to us. Hallelujah. Isn’t that what the New Testament says? Okay. Now, verse nine, number three. The hands of Zerubbable have laid the foundation of the house. Every house has to have a foundation. And remember in days in lessons past we showed you that Jesus is the foundation as we just saw before with the apostles and their teaching. And then in Hebrews 6 it give us the foundational teaching.

▶ 12:00 It says therefore leaving the first principles of the doctrine of Christ not laying again the foundation. Okay these these doctrines are the young part of our Christianity the primary the kindergarten. These doctrines aren’t deep doctrines that are coming. They’re not mature doctrines. They’re not heavy revies. They’re baby doctrines. You ready? Repentance from dead works. That’s a baby doctrine. That’s your beginning doctrine. Faith toward God. What faith? The faith that God has the power to perform what he promised. Three baptisms. Baptism in water, baptism into the body of Christ. See, Acts 2 says God placed them in daily, added to the church as he saw fit.

▶ 12:56 You see, God has to be involved in our salvation. Then you got and see the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Baptism of the Holy Ghost is a baby doctrine. Us Pentecostals for decades have acted like it was the superior doctrine. It was we arrived and it is in what level? Baby level. You say how’d you learn all this stuff? Because I made all the mistakes and God corrected me and I took the correction. You know, you don’t have to take correction. You know that you can reject correction and you can stay a baby. Then laying on of hands for impartation for blessing.

▶ 13:48 See praying one for another is Bible. Blessing people and imparting and divine healing laying on of hands. That’s what it’s for. And then it’s resurrection of the dead and the final judgment. That’s all baby doctrine. The second coming is baby doctrine. These people preach it like it is. We’ve arrived, man. We are the spiritual ones. We know every detail about the second. You don’t know beans. The second coming is baby stuff. Now he says to go on to maturity, to go on to perfection, to go on to completion. All right? In Hebrews 6 in Zechariah number four, Zerubbabel’s hand shall also finish.

▶ 14:45 He’s not just going to lay the foundation. He’s going to finish the house. See, God is telling us that he’s not just going to come and put Jesus in our life. He’s going to mature us and grow us up and complete our walk with him. Now, church, that’s powerful. Does he have the power to perform it? Do we look like we deserve it? No. Does he care what we look like? No. He has the power to change the way we look. And when you look in the mirror and see all your failures and you get down the dumps, you’re wrong. You got to see your failures, but you got to see Jesus changing all of those things and completing his work in you. Now what is the mature doctrines in what is the complete doctrines over there in Peter?

What do we add to faith?

▶ Watch this part (15:42)

Short answer: Through precious promises, add virtue, knowledge, self-control, patience, godliness, kindness and love.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 15:42 By exceedingly great and precious promises. By these great and what precious promises we might be partakers of what? His divine nature. Oh, his goal isn’t for me to repent. His goal isn’t for me to have faith. His goal isn’t for me to be water baptized and be baptized in the Holy Ghost and believe that he’s coming again. His goal is what? That I take on the divine nature. Wow. Hallelujah. See, we have a destiny. And it’s not looking like idiots in this world. It’s looking like him. And what are the doctrines of the divine nature?

▶ 16:42 Well, he goes on to say, add to your faith what? Virtue. Moral excellence. See, add to your faith morality. Don’t give me your tongues and interpretation and going out witnessing every Thursday and you know, that’s great. That’s fine. But what I want to add to your faith is morality. Amen. That’s good stuff. If Zach knows what he’s doing and what do you add to virtue? Knowledge. For lack of knowledge, my people are destroyed. And that’s where the American church is. They don’t know beans about what God is doing. They’re doing this stuff on their own strength, their own abilities, and it isn’t working.

▶ 17:34 And they think that because they got 10,000 in the church that they’re doing great. Listen, Jesus was doing great when the whole multitude left him with just 12 apost 12 disciples and 70 others. Everybody else left. Was he a failure? No way. The size of a congregation is not the standard of measurement of your success. It’s the growth. Hallelujah. You young people hearing this, this is for you youngans. God can do a quick work in your life. Now, what do you add to knowledge? Self-control. Self-control. Oh man, the Holy Ghost. I’m just waiting for the Holy Ghost to No, no, no, no, no. Don’t Don’t put everything off on the ghost.

▶ 18:27 Get some self-control. Control yourself. Don’t commit adultery. Don’t get intoxicated. Don’t use profanity. Don’t lie. Don’t commit sexual immorality. Use self-control. Control yourself. Well, I just can’t help it. You know, I I need God to No. God said that you could add to your faith self-control. Get with the program. And what helps my family, I’ve told you over and over, is not my ability to prophesy and speak the word of the Lord and heal the sick or anything else. It’s to be a person in daily life that can control himself. And that ble when I do what’s morally right, I bless my home. Doesn’t matter how many people you raise from the dead and heal the sick.

▶ 19:18 If you don’t have morals, you’ve missed it. Can I hear an amen? Okay. Then we add to self-control, patience. Patience is standing in the midst of adversity, mistreatment, verbal abuse, difficult situations, or just waiting on God to do what he said he would do without a bad attitude. That’s patience. Isn’t that a priceless thing he wants to give us? Yeah. See, patient with your spouse. They’re doing things you don’t like. Be patient. Let God work. You know, too too many marriages are destroyed because one tries to rule over the other and be the spiritual uh you know guru.

▶ 20:17 That’s the word. And that stuff doesn’t work. If we want people to be patient while we’re growing, we should what? Be patient while they’re growing. Maybe they grow a little faster than us. Faster growers have no right to shove us aside and you know belittle us and intimidate us. Are you there? And women are good at this. I’m talking from years of experience. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I I can feel it already. You better get on the men and balance this out. And then you add to patience godliness.

▶ 21:11 Godliness is a reverence, a respect for God to please him. I’m going to please God whether it pleases anybody else or not. Because the psalmist says, “If I please him, I will wind up pleasing those that want to follow godly things.”. Yes. Hallelujah. And then you add to godliness. What? See, we don’t know our Bible. That’s the problem in America. You add brotherly love. Brotherly love is like the second commandment, but it’s more focused. It’s on the believer. It’s on the people of God. He’s very focused now. It’s not just anybody. It’s those in the church. You got to love them. Do nothing to hurt them. Jesus said, “If you can’t love my those who believe in me, you can’t love your brother, you can’t love me.” See, the American church don’t get this stuff.

▶ 22:15 I love God. I love God. But I sure hate Barnes. You can’t do that. I love God. I love God. Man, I would never do nothing to hurt God. Barns. I’m not even going to eat with him anymore. He just You can’t do that. Are you hearing me, church? You can’t separate Christ from his church. You got to love me. Isn’t Zach good? Zach’s got it. Telling you, he’s directing us right. And then of course, charity, which is love, the love of God, the number one commandment. We do nothing to hurt God.

2 Peter 1:4-7 (NKJV)

by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. What is love?

▶ Watch this part (23:09)

Short answer: Patient, kind, not boastful—without it, giving your body to be burned profits nothing.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 23:09 Hallelujah. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love doesn’t boast of itself. Love doesn’t keep a record of wrongs. Are you there? Love doesn’t rejoice in evil, but rejoices in good. Bears all things, believeth all things, hopeeth all things, and endures all things. Love never quits. And that’s the goal. Does God ever give up on us? See, that’s the goal. Is God patient with us? Absolutely. Does God erase the records of our wrongs? Yeah. Thank God. None of us, boy. Amen. And we’re to take on his nature. And he plainly says at the beginning of 1 Corinthians 13, though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels.

▶ 24:04 See, there’s two. On the day of Pentecost, they spoke with the tongues of men. 15 different languages. But you can also speak in heavenly languages, languages that are not interpreted. That’s where you build yourself up. He says, “Though I speak in the tongues of men and have not love, I’m like a clanging clung and clattering simba. I am irritating. Nobody likes me.” And that is true. You know, tongue talkers, us tongue talker, we shaka moola in church and then we go out and we can’t balance our checkbook. We don’t pay our bills. We use profanity. We get anger. We can’t control oursel. And people go, “I don’t want what you got.” That’s exactly what 1 Corinthians 13 said. And though I prophesy and have all knowledge, you know, these people, they quote scripture and they, you know, do all this stuff, but they don’t have the fruit.

▶ 24:59 They don’t have the divine nature. He says, “It profits me nothing. If I give my body to be burned, I help the poor and give everything to help the poor. Helping the poor, it profits me nothing.” Okay. So, we know the house is going to be finished. We know what the goal is for God’s house, right? The church, the real house. Isn’t this beautiful? Yes. Now, look at this one. Number five. This is This is hot. For who has despised or who despised has been put in there? Whoever despised, shunned, disrespected, ashamed of the day of small things. Now, what’s the day of small things here? The foundation.

▶ 25:53 How many you know if you go up to build a building and you only put the foundation down, nobody’s impressed. Why? That’s the beginning. That’s the small part. You need something that works on top of that foundation. And there’s people who despise. I remember when I got saved, there were people told me, “You won’t last. You’ll be just like the rest. Couple of weeks, couple of months, six months, maybe a couple of years. Bang, you’re gone. Well, I’m 69 and I haven’t stopped. I never even backslid. But see, they mock, they disrespected, they laughed. How many have seen that? How many have experienced people telling you you’re not going to last? Yeah. How many have looked at people and said, “You’re not going to last.”.

▶ 26:45 Some of us just aren’t honest. You know what I mean? We just We just figure if we stay neutral, we won’t get Oh, yeah. See, we can even despise and shun our small beginnings, man. We want to be a prophet overnight. Hallelujah. You know, we see somebody healing the sick and all that. Oh, I’m going to get saved and I’m going to heal the sick like the sorcerer there in the book of Acts. And and nothing happens. And you know, we just get saved and and we got to grow and we go, “Oh man, is this a what this? I get saved and I got to grow. I got to go to school.” So we shan and we despise. But listen, listen to what old Zach says. Whoever does this is going to rejoice, be made glad, and shall see the plummet, the stone.

▶ 27:39 This the same stone in chapter three that Joshua saw. The stone Jesus in the hand is the rubbable with the seven, the eyes of the Lord. The seven eyes of the Lord. What are the seven eyes of the Lord? The seven spirits. What are the seven spirits? Spirit of the Lord, spirit of understanding, spirit of knowledge, spirit of counsel, spirit of strength, spirit of fear of the Lord and wisdom. That’s the way you got to know your Bible. You got to become a Bible student. And you need to be under teachers that know how to teach you Bible, not out of somebody’s book that they’re making a million bucks off of these people are going to rejoice.

▶ 28:32 And I I hear a lot of people making fun of Christians, shunning them and shame to them and all the rest. But I’m going to give you a secular example of an end result. It may take us seven years to reach just a a a average growth in God. It may take us 10 years, may take us three years, may take us 30 years to get to that maturity. But let me show you what happens when you reach that goal after I say Bible morality is partaking of the divine nature. What’s Bible morality? Partaking of the divine nature. And until you got morality, you ain’t got beans. Don’t be bragging.
