The church’s foundation is Jesus with the apostles and prophets. Foundational doctrines include repentance, faith and three baptisms. “My faith” rhetoric isn’t biblical faith; even demons believe. Blessed are those who hear the word and keep it.

What is the New Testament foundation?

▶ Watch this part (0:01)

Short answer: Jesus, with the apostles and prophets—you can’t build on Joseph Smith or Mary Baker Eddy.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 0:01 The New Testament foundation is Jesus. Okay? We’re going to give you the scriptures along with the apostles and prophets. They are part of the foundations along with eight doctrines. See, the New Testament tells us exactly what the foundation is. Okay, you ready? And remember the blessing come when they what? Started building the foundation. Now, there’s some illustrations of a building. You see here. This stone is the chief cornerstone. All the other stones had to line up to it. So, the stones to the left and the right of it and this one here. I like this one because the cornerstone’s in the shape of a cross. Yeah, love it.

▶ 0:54 So, the apostles and prophets, Old Testament prophets are not done away with. The Old Testament prophets are fulfilled in Jesus Christ fulfilling them or they’re fulfilled in us living a right life. Okay? So, we have the apostles and prophets on the bottom and then we have these eight principles and then we have other things added until the house is totally complete. And we showed you last week that we are a a house, a spiritual house, living stones that God has built. We are the house of God. This barn’s nothing to God. He could care the least. Amen. Now, let’s give you the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 3:11. No other foundation can any man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

▶ 1:48 You can’t build on Joseph Smith. You can’t build on Mary Baker Eddy. You can’t build on anyone but who? Jesus Christ. Folks, that is the one thing that I cannot unite with you if you don’t accept this man Jesus as God, the savior of the world. He is the redemption. He is the savior. This guy Jesus is it. Amen? And you get that, me and you we can flow together with a lot of stupid doctrines you may have. But we got to have this Jesus man right. Can I hear an amen? Hallelujah. And don’t don’t ever bring anything in in front of Jesus Christ.

▶ 2:42 Me and you will tangle. Because Jesus is the most important person in that Bible. And that name is above every name. I’ve told you many times you need to quit using the word God and use the name of Jesus because that name Jesus just either kills people or draws them in. Hallelujah. Ephesians 2:19, you are built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Okay, the apostles were instituted in the New Testament. There were 15 of them, not 12. So these churches that have 12 apostles and all that, they don’t even know their Bible. There were 12 originals, but there were more added on and we don’t know how many more were added on that weren’t in recorded in the Bible. An apostle is a position in the body of Christ of authority.

What marks apostles?

▶ Watch this part (3:37)

Short answer: Signs and wonders with patience; Jesus’ doctrine is above every doctrine.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 3:37 They can do signs and wonders. They have tremendous patience with God’s people and they know their scriptures. You see? That is the definition of apostle in the Bible and these people just put an apostle name on them, they’re crazy. You can’t do that. The Bible says he places in the body as what? He sees fit. You can’t just call yourself an apostle. Show up. Show me. You know. Take a piece of cloth from your clothing and go cast out a demon or heal the Let me see. Give me some supernatural evidence here because that is the sign of an apostle clearly written in the Bible. Can I hear an amen? And they’re patient. They don’t axe people off. I don’t care if they’re Catholics or Protestants or Jews. They’re very patient. They just patiently keep preaching, keep loving, keep ministering.

▶ 4:29 Because patience must come with power. Hallelujah. Anyway, some of these things are just free. Okay. They just pop into my cranial vacuum when I’m preaching, but they’re important. Now, and even in this, Jesus Christ is the what? Chief cornerstone. The most important stone. Why? Every stone has to line up to Jesus. And when your conduct doesn’t line up to the conduct that Jesus attested us to do, then you are exempt. People can’t follow you. They got to follow the cornerstone. That’s why Paul said, “Follow me as I follow Christ. If I don’t follow Christ, don’t follow me.” Now, in Acts 2:42, it says the church continued in the apostles’ doctrine.

▶ 5:26 See, the apostles had a doctrine. Jesus had a doctrine. Didn’t he? And Jesus’ doctrine is above what? Every doctrine. And the apostles who were there with Jesus, those 11 apostles, one more added, that was 13, one got killed, killed himself. And then Barnabas and was an apostle and so forth. Okay? They had doctrines. They got them straight from Jesus Christ. Paul got his straight from a visitation of Christ. So their doctrines are what? Safe. Hallelujah. How many of you know church doctrines can be wrong? Absolutely. They can be very wrong. In Luke 16:31 Jesus said, “If they will not hear Moses, the law and the prophets they will not believe though and be persuaded though one rose from the dead.” Who he did.

▶ 6:37 He did. And he preached and they rejected him. He was God on earth and the Jews rejected him, many of them. See, if you won’t hear the preaching the prophesying the speaking by the spirit of God from the law and the prophets, you’re not going to hear. If Jesus came today and preached, you won’t hear him either. Was that statement fulfilled? Oh, yeah. Jesus rose from the grave and the people still wouldn’t hear listen to him. Hebrews 6:1. Now, here we are. Here’s some doctrines.

What are foundational doctrines?

▶ Watch this part (7:27)

Short answer: Repentance from dead works, faith toward God, baptisms—quit sinning, don’t just ask forgiveness.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 7:27 Plainly says these are baby doctrines, foundational doctrines. Are you ready for this? Hebrews 6:1. Not laying again the foundational doctrine of Christ. The The doctrines. How many of you know if you begin race, you can’t go 100 yards and stop if you’re running a mile. Or you’re running a 440. You got to what? Go on. You got to keep running those 100 yard things until you what? Reach the finish line. And American Christians, I have to say American Christians have run part of the race and they quit. I I don’t find that in third world countries. I find it in America. So, the beginning of the doctrines of Christ, the foundation and any list them.

▶ 8:24 Repentance from dead works. You know, quit sinning. Turn from your sin. Don’t just ask me to forgive you at the altar. Turn. That is a foundational doctrine of Christ and brings God’s blessing. Just meeting Jesus at the altar that that does not bring the blessing nor does it bring restoration in your life. See, these Jews were offering sacrifices, but it wasn’t changing their life. They were going to the altar, but it wasn’t changing their life. What did they need to do? They needed to repent. They needed to stop sinning. Amen. Faith toward God.

Hebrews 6:1-2 (NKJV)

Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

What’s wrong with “my faith drives me”?

▶ Watch this part (9:16)

Short answer: Politicians say it, but faith is God’s; the demons believe too.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 9:16 And I’ve I’ve hit this before. Obama, Bush, Biden, Ryan, all these guys use this statement, my faith, drives me crazy. You don’t have a right to your faith. You can’t just go, well, I believe this is okay. You can’t do that. Nowhere in the Bible does it say my faith. Two times my faith is used in the Bible. I’m going to show them to you. And see they excuse like Biden, he excused his bad decision by saying my faith will not allow me to impose my abortion beliefs on other people. Well, that’s the problem. That’s your faith, Biden. You You need to get the faith of God.

▶ 10:14 Church, I’m just trying to help you to think. When you’re out in this world and you listen to things, I’m I’m trying to open your mind to be able to think right and analyze things right. And Obama comes along with my faith. Can’t treat homosexuals except a civil acceptance like everybody else. Well, Obama, that’s your faith. That’s not God’s faith. God’s faith says it’s a crime. Just like adultery. You know, these people can go out on their wives or wives go out on their husband and then you know, they can go to the Catholic church and do their little thing or go to the Protestant church and do their little confession and go out and do it again. Bible faith doesn’t allow that. Can I hear an amen? That’s your faith and your faith is worthless.

▶ 11:08 And in the faith camp it’s all about my faith. And the faith camp is a mess because you cannot do things on your faith. It’s got to be God’s faith. Your faith must be in what God said to do. Can I Is that just common sense? Now, look at this. Two times it’s used. James 2:18, faith without works is dead. Show me your faith without your works and I will show you my faith. Okay, my faith is used here. I will show you my faith by what? My works. And the Bible says to work the works of God. See, I’ll show you who who I believe in by my lifestyle. I’m a Jesus boy because my lifestyle tells you I’m a Jesus boy.

▶ 12:03 Not because my lips tell you I’m a Jesus boy. I used that terminology. There was some woman trying to pick me up when I was in my 20s. And I told her I’m married. I don’t care. I said I got kids. I don’t care. It’s okay. Then I said I’m a Jesus boy. She says, “I’m a Christian, too.” Uh, crazy, isn’t it? Yeah. But this is the kind of Christianity the American church has been producing for decades. I can be a Christian and do anything I want. He says, “You believe there is one God, you do well.” That’s good.

▶ 12:57 That’s the altar. The demons believe. You know, you you At least you’re level’s up to the demonic level. And they tremble. How come you’re not trembling? How come you’re not afraid? The demons are afraid of that judgment day. So, you know, when you say my faith, just remember that’s a demonic level and they rebelled against God, didn’t they? Revelation 2:13, second time it’s used, it’s used by Jesus Christ. Talking to the church of Pergamoth. To Pergamoth he said, “You have not denied my faith.” Not their faith. Whose faith? His faith. And see Obama and Biden and and Romney and all these guys, they need to get this thing right.

▶ 13:50 Just because you graduate from Harvard does not mean you know your Bible. Can I hear an amen? They need to hear some of these preachers in America, there’s a lot of them. That understand Jesus and the Bible. Their bedrock, they’re not usually the mega churches because the mega churches are big because they don’t say anything to hurt anybody. They don’t want to offend anybody. And so yeah, most of the congregations are small, but I’ll tell you there is hundreds and thousands of them. Championing the gospel of Jesus Christ. And these presidents would do good by getting some of these down-to-earth ministers together that have the fruit of the Bible. And listening to them, they wouldn’t make these blunders that they make.

What are the three baptisms?

▶ Watch this part (14:42)

Short answer: Water, into the body as God places you, and the Holy Spirit—tongues aren’t the only initial sign.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 14:42 Could that be true? Now, baptisms, there’s three baptisms in the Bible. Baptism is a foundational doctrine, three baptisms. Water baptism, which we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Okay? No longer a serv- a slave of sin, but a slave to righteousness. You can read it right there in Romans 6, great illustration. When we go down into that water, we’re dying with Christ on the cross. When we come out, we’re coming out in his resurrection power. To no longer serve sin, but to serve right to powerful. So, water baptism is not an outward sign of an inward work. It is a principle that God uses to empower our life. Hallelujah. I hate that symbolic stuff. It’s a real thing.

▶ 15:34 The second one is you’re baptized into the body. He places into the body as he sees fit. And if he don’t want you being a preacher, you’re not going to be a preacher. And these healing ministries, you know, we we lift them up and most of them aren’t healing anybody anyway. But we think, “Oh boy, what powerful men and women of God. What No. If God has placed you like Mary, all she did was birth Jesus. We find no miracles done in her life. We find her no no prophesying or anything else. But she birthed Jesus. If you just have been born again by Jesus Christ, and you’re just a person that tithes and comes to church and a great example of the things of God. Listen, no preacher has any higher reward than you do because that’s where God put you.

▶ 16:27 Amen. See, he gives me the drive to study that Bible for 10, 14 hours a day. Most of you would wear out in 30 minutes. It’s a gift. See. And it only works if I keep applying it. If I don’t keep applying it, it dies, Jesus said. That which they had is taken away. I’ll give it to somebody else. Anyway, I’m throwing this out. Baptism into the body of Christ is one of the baptisms. And you can’t just go and take a little chart of well, let’s see, what are my gifts? Throw that stuff out. These things are supernaturally done. Are you there, church?

▶ 17:19 By a supernatural God who decides. If you want to be a doorkeeper, you’ll be a doorkeeper. Your reward is just as good as your pastor’s or anybody else. Because you’re doing what God called you to do. And all of us have got to be a light to the world in the area God’s called us to be in. Then, there’s the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now, listen. I’ve shared a lot of things about the baptism. I’m filled with the Holy Ghost. I’ve got saved in Assembly of God church. I’ve spoken in tongues and all that. But it was the power of the Holy Ghost that really got my attention. To drive me into the Bible. To check me when I wanted to do something wrong. That Holy Spirit would say, “No. Christians don’t do that.” I didn’t understand beings when I talked it. So, I had no understanding.

▶ 18:11 I just felt it. And I loved the feeling. Don’t get me wrong. But I had that feeling before. Just not in the intensity that came when God filled me with the Holy Spirit and out of my innermost being rivers of life-giving water flowed. And so, I would ask the brethren, “On the day of Pentecost, they spoke in languages. They spoke in 15 different languages. And their own language. They weren’t speaking in tongues of angels. They were They were speaking in languages that were known that day. I said, “They didn’t need any interpretation. The people that heard them speak understood cuz they understood the language. There was no interpreters.” You see how I was born to analyze things? I I was just born that way.

▶ 19:07 And yet, you’re telling me the tongues is the initial sign of the Holy Spirit. And And And And we don’t even interpret tongues in the Assembly of God. They just speak and that’s it. Yeah. Shaka moola, shaka moola, shaka my and then we all wait and and the presence of God’s there and that feels good. But we didn’t know beans what went on. I said the bottom line is on the day of Pentecost they were prophesying. They were prophesying in the languages of the 15 nations that were gathered there in Jerusalem. And those people could understand exactly what they were saying because they understood the language. Are you there? Hallelujah. And for people that don’t like tongues, the Bible says don’t forbid not to what?

▶ 20:02 Speak in tongues. Paul plainly said it. Don’t stop the tongue stuff. And he says you can speak with tongues of men and of angels. It is biblical to speak in an unknown tongue that isn’t an earthly language. It’s biblical. Can I hear an amen? If you don’t like it, that’s too bad. The Bible says it can happen and he gives an order. If there’s no interpretation, don’t talk in the church. And this is a problem I had with the Assembly of God. We had all these tongue tongue tongue and we had no interpretation and I’m a young Christian and I’m wanting to follow the Bible and they got no answers. Does that make sense to you? See, to me that’s just Bible logic. And this slaying in the spirit stuff nowhere in the Bible.

▶ 20:53 Nobody fell backwards and except the people in the garden who were unbelievers. And they got right back up. They didn’t lay on the ground shaking in the garden speaking in tongues or anything. They were unbelievers and got right back up and arrested him. Because of the power of the name I am. When he said I am it just knocked them over. Are you with me? But folks, the baptism of the Holy Ghost is a Bible doctrine. It was promised to come, it did come, and it’s for everyone. Hallelujah. And I highly recommend getting it. So, three baptisms, laying on of hands, healing, impartation, blessing, and I just gave you the fourth one.

Who is blessed?

▶ Watch this part (21:49)

Short answer: Those who hear the word of God and keep it—you’ll stand before Him regardless.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 21:49 What was it earlier? Yes, identifying with Jesus Christ on that cross by an act of coming to him. See, when you sin and you come to him at that altar, you’re identifying, you’re you’re giving him your sin. Hallelujah. Isn’t that beautiful? Oh, I forgot, resurrection of the dead, which is the second coming. So, the second coming is a what? Foundational baby doctrine. Don’t get all of thinking you’re some spiritual wizard because you got these things about this That’s baby stuff. There is a resurrection, Christ is coming, there will be a resurrection, you’re going to be held accountable, eternal judgment for what you say and do.

▶ 22:46 I don’t care if you believe in him or not, you’re going to stand before him for what you say and do. That’s exactly what Jesus said, isn’t that right? Now, John chapter 8, verse 31, Jesus said to those Jews which believed on him. Okay? Now, these are Jews, people from the Old Testament bloodline. And they believed on Jesus Christ. They weren’t like the other Jews. They trusted him. Now, is this the altar or is this the foundation? This is the altar. They’re coming to Christ. They believe in Christ. How many people you know believe in Christ? But they don’t have this foundation. In America, it’s big. It’s widespread. Then, he says, “You believe, that’s wonderful.

▶ 23:40 The demons believe. Hey, you’re doing you’re making good progress. You’re up to the level of demons.” “If you continue in my word, if you pass the level of demons, then you’re my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” That’s the foundation that is successful by prophesying, by speaking, by the anointing or the uh Holy Spirit, the truths of God’s word. Amen? So, Jesus used it. Jesus followed the Old Testament principles. You see, it’s this prophesying truth that’s going to set people free. And in our Pentecostal circle, with thus saith the Lord, and we’d even speak in old English language.

▶ 24:39 Thou shalt, thou art, you know, like God is an old English language God. And that used to drive me nuts. And I don’t know when they use these and thous, man, we thought they were being spiritual. That’s just King James language, old English language. We don’t talk that way today. Luke 11:28, blessed are they, here Jesus said, blessed are they that what? Hear the word. There’s that that prophesying again. The word, the spoken word. And remember, if you’re speaking scriptures, the scriptures are spirit. Isn’t that right? See, there’s no higher level than just speaking the scriptures. Those scriptures are spirit, so you’re speaking by the spirit of God. And the spirit is in the word.

▶ 25:31 They that hear the word of God. And it doesn’t stop there. They what? Keep it. They what? Keep it. Homosexuals, stop being homosexuals. Adulterers, stop being adulterers. Thieves, stop being thieves. Drunkards, stop being drunkards. Drug addicts, stop being drug addicts. They keep
