Pressure from the world causes spiritual implosion, like a crushed tanker or the 2008 crash. God finished His house in Darius’ sixth year. Restoration must be maintained—grace, faith and repentance—and each generation must pursue godly character.

What is an implosion?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: Collapse from outside pressure—like a tanker in California or the 2008 real estate crash; the world’s pressure overcomes people.

▶ 0:00 We are teaching on restoration from Ezra, Haggai and Zechariah. Today’s session, session nine, I have titled implosion. Okay, implosion is a inward collapse resulting from an external pressure that’s higher than the e internal pressure. Okay. It also has the modern day meaning of a complete economic failure. Complete economic collapse or government collapse uh as a result of poor management uh in laws and in finances.

▶ 0:53 And so I have some illustrations on the screen here. This tanker in Raymond, California. Uh they were emptying out ethanol out of the tank by of course a vacuum and the people who were doing it forgot to follow the instructions and they did not open a vent. So when the ethanol got out to a certain measure, the air pressure collapsed that 1 in thick steel. You see, if the inward pressure is not greater than the outward pressure, it will collapse. It will implode. We have uh here I’ll give you an illustration.

▶ 1:48 Let me have Nicole up here. I I need one of the weak-handed ones in the congregation. Okay, now Nicole. Yeah, try to crush that bottle. That can no chance, huh? See, the inward pressure is higher than the outward pressure. Now, if I brought Diamond up here and showed him how to do it, he could bust this. Okay. Now crush that one. Piece of cake. Why? Because the outward pressure now exceeds the inward pressure. Got it? That’s implosion. And that’s what happens to Christians who do not maintain their inward man, their inward spirit.

▶ 2:41 The pressure of the world to sin and to do wrong and to reject God’s things overcomes them finally and they implode. They collapse and they’re worthless and they have to be restored again. Here’s a chart of Bulgaria. Bulgaria in the 1900s, 1990s, they got free from Russia and they implemented some monetary uh choices that caused debt to excel, interest rates to rise, and hyperinflation. And you see the implosion. Okay. Then when they made some adjustments to sensible, secure financial decisions, look how fast it got back to normal.

▶ 3:48 Now, now why didn’t they just do that here? Because government a lot of stupid people are in government and a lot of lobbying a lot of outside sources making bad decisions. Over here in 2008 we have the real estate market in America. Here is the roaring 20s. Here is the depression area went down to here in today’s money. You understand today’s money in 2008 because Republicans and Democrats, liberals and conservatives made in government in Congress some bad financial decisions for the real estate market of America. I have the law that they passed. They are all guilty including the president at the time because he could have vetoed it.

▶ 4:46 So suddenly in 2008 the bottom dropped out of real estate. You see an implosion. Why? Because the outward pressure overcame the inward right decisions to maintain a healthy real estate market. You understand church? Now with that, remember last week we told you that there is a new candlestick presented in Zechariah. It has on each side of it olives where the oil comes from with two golden pipes from each one. We suggested to you that this is Jesus and the Holy Spirit who stand before God. The anointed ones who stand the sons of oil who stand before God.

▶ 5:40 So they have a continuous stream flowing out of them into this bowl or spring which the New Testament says we have in us. All right? But a spring’s no good if it’s not what fed with continuous water. It dries up. So, see, when we break this relationship, this connection with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we dry up. You can you can say things by faith all you want to, but you’re dry. You have nothing to give out to the lamps. There are seven pipes to seven lamps. Okay? Do you remember that? Hallelujah. Now, we’re going to go to Ezra chapter 6 and be teaching out of Ezra today.

When was the house finished?

▶ Watch this part (6:34)

Short answer: The sixth year of Darius—God did it, not human beings; freed from Satan’s authority.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 6:34 This house was finished in the sixth year of Darius the king. Okay, they completed the house. Now, remember last week we learned that this is an illustration of the church, the real house God wanted to build. God was never interested in a man-made house except to illustrate what he wanted to do in the spiritual house. Hebrews 9:11, Christ being the high priest of good things to come by greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands. Human, no human involvement. And that’s what the candlestick and Zechariah shows us. There’s no human involvement in the man-made house. The priests had to go get the oil. They had to plant the trees, cultivate the fruit, squeeze the oil out of out of the olive and bring it to the tabernacle and keep pouring it in the lamps.

▶ 7:31 In the church, man cannot be involved. It is Jesus and the Holy Spirit that has that continual flow into God’s people and into the church. Amen. Hebrews 9:26, Christ has not entered into the holy places made with hands. Jesus never went into the tabernacle uh that was there at that day. And he had the right to. Of all people, he had the right to, but he couldn’t do it to fulfill scripture. Then people would have worshiped the holy places, the holy of holies again. He went into the heavens, which the Holy of Holies represented, to stand before God, make an intercession for us continually, all the time, not made with hands.

▶ 8:24 You see, human beings have nothing to do with it. That’s the difference between the Catholics and the Protestants is we go straight to Jesus to confess our sins and get him to forgive us. Then the Catholics go to a man called a priest. See, we don’t. A man can’t forgive sins. Only Jesus, the Bible says, can forgive sins. Can I hear an amen? But us Protestants are just as bad as the Catholics when it comes to using this repent thing, knowing we’re going to go and do it again. Think about that one. Which are the figures, the models, the shadows, the illustrations of the true things. But he went into heaven itself. Now remember what we remember that last week.

▶ 9:17 We are that house. We are that church that God wants to build our individual lives and as a group. Now let’s look at the character of those that are building who finished the house. They built it and they finished it. Let’s look at their character. You know what kind of principles did these people have? Well, number one, they came out of captivity. All right? Not everybody came out of captivity when God told them to come out of captivity. Captivity to the king of Babylon. We today are in the captivity to the king king of the kingdom of darkness who is Satan. And we’re supposed to be transported out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.

▶ 10:09 Not under the captivity of the authority of Satan. Are you hearing me? See, these people come out of that old government, that old king, that old power, and they came out to the Lord. You see, we can’t just come out. We got to come out to something. And so, they came out to the Lord Jesus to seek him through prayer and praise and worship and the word and fasting and and these things that cause us to find him. All right? And number three, they separated themselves from the filthiness of the heathen. See, that’s what repentance is. See, the nations do sexual immorality. They get intoxicated and drunk. They take drugs. They lie. They steal. They do all these things.

▶ 11:00 They neglect the house of God. But not people that are responding to the call of God to restore his house, whose house you are. Amen. See, that’s the character they had. And if we want full restoration in our life, we’re going to have to get that character, aren’t we? Yeah. It’s for our illustration. Come on. He said, “These were written for our instruction. Otherwise, you’re not going to stay building the house and finishing it. You’re going to give up and quit.” So, the fourth thing they did is they ate the unleavened bread after the house was finished with joy. The feast of unleavened bread. This is maintaining.

Why maintain?

▶ Watch this part (11:54)

Short answer: Like a new car, faith needs upkeep; the Passover was a three-part feast—grace, faith and repentance.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 11:54 You see, if I buy a car, a brand new car, if I do not maintain it, changing the oil, lubing it, you know, putting the right air pressure and the tires and all that, I am going to destroy that car. And when I was in third world countries, I seen tractors, agricultural tractors sitting there given to it by missionary groups in America. The people down there had no understanding of maintaining a mechanical device. And so they just drove the tractor till there was no oil in it. It froze up and then they just let it sit where it was. You understand? See, if we don’t maintain in working order what we have, we’re going to lose it. Now, church, that was good.

▶ 12:51 And a lot of us in the Christian world are frozen. Our engine has stopped producing power because we haven’t maintained our spiritual life. Can I hear an amen? And you’re just waiting for the rapture to come and hope you can hang on. Instead of being an effective force in the church world and in the earth, you’re just a memorial. See, a fossil is a memorial, a remembrance of something that once had life and lost it. Hallelujah. Now it is important to know that unleavened bread feast included just before it the feast of Passover and right after it the feast of first fruits.

▶ 13:45 It’s very important to know that it was a threepart feast from the 14th day of the month, the 15th day of the month, the 16th day of the month, and then seven days after the 15th day of the month and and including the 15th day for seven days unleaven was kept. Well, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 5 that Jesus is our Passover. So, see, we got to come to Jesus like this morning. We’re going to be taking communion. Why? To remember that he died for us. He rose from the grave, that his blood cleanses from all sin, that he has given us a covenant, that he will put his word in our minds and our heart. We can all know him from the least to the greatest. He will be our God and we will be his people and our sins and iniquities he will be merciful to and remember no more.

▶ 14:38 That’s important. Why? We maintain because we make mistakes, don’t we? So we got to what? We got to lubricate oursel. We got to put oil back into our engine. Then come the feast of unleaven bread. Unleaven bread is was done several days before taking all the leavenan out of the house. Not not just bread that was leaven. Even leavenan couldn’t be in the house. No levan, no yeast. Why? Because yeast infects whatever it is put into that’s what yeast does. You put a little yeast in dough, it leavenvens the whole dough, doesn’t it? Yeah. And that’s sin. So we put away sin. This is why it’s important that the church in America get back to the gospel.

▶ 15:31 Not just grace and faith, but grace and faith and repentance, leaving that sinful world behind, not doing what the heathen do. That’s the call of Christ. Amen. They are brainwashing the church in America, making them think they’re all going to heaven and they’re living in sin. And God is a just God. He can’t allow a habitual sexual immoral person that believes in Jesus to go to heaven and a habitual sexual immoral person who doesn’t believe in Jesus to go to hell. That’s unjust because the sentence is the breaking of the law. And what law did they break? Thou shalt not commit sexual immorality.

▶ 16:24 Believer or non-believer. Can I hear an amen? All right. So then the 16th day comes and that’s the sheath of first fruits. They would take the very first ripe grains out of the field and they would offer them. This was an illustration of Christ rising from the dead. It says there in 1 Corinthians 5 that cleanse yourself of that leavenan that you might be an unleavened person with sincerity and truth not the old leavenan of malice and wickedness. Amen. So, see, we have to do that. And we got to maintain our lives or we’re going to implode.

Scripture (NKJV)

Ezra 6:19-22 (NKJV)

And the descendants of the captivity kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves; all of them were ritually clean. And they slaughtered the Passover lambs for all the descendants of the captivity, for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. Then the children of Israel who had returned from the captivity ate together with all who had separated themselves from the filth of the nations of the land in order to seek the LORD God of Israel. And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy; for the LORD made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

What happened to the old generation?

▶ Watch this part (17:23)

Short answer: They died—will you pursue character for a fully restored life?

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 17:23 Hallelujah. How many are willing to pursue this character to see not only your life totally restored, but others around you? Lord, you see our hands. What’s the matter with the rest of you, man? This is a big big invitation from God. God never makes an invitation and he doesn’t back up. It doesn’t matter what you think about yourself. It’s what God thinks he can do through you. It’s what God knows he can do through you, I should say. Amen. Now 47 years later when we go to Ezra 7:es 1-5 47 to 50 years somewhere around there we find that Ezra some priests and Levites singers and porters and temple servants are still in Babylon.

▶ 18:21 What are they doing in Babylon? Now I know when you read this you ask all these questions. Actually this stuff comes through hours. It comes through hours of preparation. It this isn’t easy stuff to get. I just say that as a joke. 70 years from the time the first captivity come to build the house. 70 years more like 80. Okay. When the first captives led Babylon there in Ezra 2 1 and two to this time of Ezra is about 80 years.

▶ 19:15 Now how many of you know the old generation is dead now? You know, they started 30, 40 years old, 20, they’re they’re gone. So, what are these priests, Levites, singers, and porters doing in Babylon? They are the children of parents who made the wrong choice not to go and leave captivity and get involved in building God’s house. They rejected the message. How many you know parents can be a disaster in a home? Their choices directly affect their children. Directly affect them. But God, he sees these children.

▶ 20:08 He sees Ezra. Okay? He knows what’s going on. Are you with me? Are you getting the picture here? Yeah. Parents, I I submit to you today how you live your life. Your kids are watching everything you do. They’re learning from you. Now, God comes and restores the children of the parents making these bad decisions. See, God cares about them. But guess who didn’t care about them? No record of concern from the restored people 80 years ago. No record of sending missionaries back to Babylon and saying, “Come on out.

▶ 21:03 Come out, man. Things are tough over here, but the house of God is being built to glory and all these things.” They never got a concern for those people back in Babylon, especially the second generation whose parents had rejected the message of God. And folks, that’s the start of implosion. See, they were in the house and they were had the joy and they were keeping the feast and they were worshiping and all that, but they had no concern. And part of the inward pressure that keeps the us from collapsing and imploding is releasing the water that he gives us, the word that he gives us. That’s part of what we got to do.

▶ 21:56 Are you there? You see, the word is so important. But I’m going to prove it to you. You ready for this? See, it isn’t my rolling on the floor as a Pentecostal or shaking because the Holy Ghost is upon me. That that that’s nothing. It isn’t signs and wonders. Okay, I’m going to prove it to you. You ready for this? When they went to get Jesus, the temple leaders sent these guys to get Jesus and arrest him. They went down there and Jesus was preaching. And they came back empty-handed. And when the temple leader says, “Where’s Jesus?” They said, “Never rolled on a floor like a man like this man.

▶ 22:49 Never did we ever see anyone shake in the spirit like this man. Is that what he said? No. He said never spake a man like this man. See the end result is the release of the word that Jesus and the spirit bring to you. Are you there church? I’ll prove it again. Stephen, a man full of faith and power, wasn’t even an apostle. No record of him being apostle. He was a waiter on tables. He did the natural things in the gathering of God’s people there. But the Holy Ghost was upon him. And when he prayed for people, they got healed.

▶ 23:41 They brought him before the Sanhedrin. And when he got done talking, you know, was it his shaking of the spirit? Was it a miracle that caused them to stone him? Or did they stone him because they could not challenge the spirit and wisdom by which he spake? Yeah. See, they didn’t stone him for miracles. They didn’t stone him because he could speak in tongues and prophesy and heal the sick and all this. They stoned him because the word that he spoke by the spirit of God, church, that’s good stuff. And so, we got to get the word and we got to let the what? Word go out of us.
