Prophecies to Nine Nations: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
In this message Pastor David G. Kincer walks through Isaiah’s prophecies against nine cities and nations (Isaiah 13–23) and shows how Babylon, Moab, Egypt and Tyre were fulfilled, then looks at the hidden “day of the Lord” passages in them. He says God will show mercy and bring in the heathen as well as His people who have given up their inheritance, and ends with Isaiah 26 on desiring Jesus and God’s judgments teaching righteousness.
What are the nine prophecies in Isaiah 13–23, and did Babylon become uninhabited as foretold? (Isaiah 13:17-20)
Short answer: He lists the nine cities or nations Isaiah addresses (Babylon, Moab, Damascus, Egypt, “the desert of the sea,” the valley of vision, Tyre and Sidon, and others) and says Babylon was “a tremendous city” that God said would never be inhabited again. He shows a picture of its ruins today and says “this Bible is a very powerful book” whose prophecies were fulfilled just as spoken, which only a supernatural God can do.
▶ 0:00 First he talks about, in Isaiah 13, chapters 13 23, he talks about Babylon. Okay, then he talks about Moab. Moab is the incestuous offspring of Lot and his two daughters that got him drunk, all right, and had sex with their father. Then he is going to talk about Damascus, the capital of Syria, the N the nation or empire of Syria. And then he’s going to talk about Egypt, number four. And then he’s going to call something “the desert of the sea,” and this threw me for a for a loop for quite a few years, “the desert of the sea.” And commentaries and all that said that’s the wind blowing in from this sea and destruction of Babylon. You know, when we don’t know something, we just contrive anything. But there’s some key words that he’s given us and we will see that later. It’s really going to be Persia and the Medes. All right. Then you have the valley of vision. That didn’t throw me at all, because he’s talking about Jerusalem and Judea here. And then number nine, Tyre and Sidon over here on the coast. Okay, he’s going to talk about the these nine cities or nations.
▶ 1:34 Now he says in Isaiah 13:17, Babylon shall never be inhabited. Now, our opponents are always saying that, you know, God said he would do things and then in the New Testament people just made it happen because they already wrote it, so they just acted on it and said it was fulfilled. But how do you say a tremendous city like Babylon, it was a tremendous city if you know your history, and God says will never be inhabited again. And folks, here’s a picture of it today. Looks pretty in uninhabited, doesn’t it? And there’s many things you see. You can say that God’s going to come in the flesh, give his life, die and resurrect himself again. But how do you cover that up when he did come and die and resurrected himself again? You see, and the Roman Empire tried their best to distort and destroy that story, but they couldn’t find the evidence. There was nobody. He did rise from the grave, and so forth.
▶ 2:49 So anyway, you young in the Lord, this Bible is a very powerful book. He spoke things in the natural, prophetic nation and so forth, that were fulfilled just as he spoke. In the spiritual realm that are being fulfilled, you understand? And only God can do that. This God is a supernatural God, okay? He’s real. Jesus is real. Okay, he also says at the same time Assyria, that’s right here, and Philistine, that’s over here by the coast, we’ll see it when I get rid of this picture. Will be broken. All right, and Assyria was broken, and Palestine right here down in Canaan was also broken. None of these nations ever amounted to anything after God spoke and said they weren’t.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 13:17-20 (NKJV)
“Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, Who will not regard silver; And as for gold, they will not delight in it. Also their bows will dash the young men to pieces, And they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb; Their eye will not spare children. And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, The beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It will never be inhabited, Nor will it be settled from generation to generation; Nor will the Arabian pitch tents there, Nor will the shepherds make their sheepfolds there.
— Isaiah 13:17-20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:38Did God’s prophecies about Moab, Egypt and “the desert of the sea” come true? (Isaiah 16:14, 19:4, 21:2)
Short answer: He says Moab’s survivors were “few and feeble,” Egypt was ruled in turn by Assyria, Babylon, Greece and Rome and “never rose to a prominence in the earth,” and “the desert of the sea” turned out to be Persia and the Medes who destroyed Babylon. He says atheists and those who attack the Bible “got to be confronted with these facts.”
▶ 3:38 Okay, Isaiah 16:14, “Within 3 years Moab’s splendor and all her many people will be despised, and her survivors will be few and feeble.” And how many have ever met a Moabite? I didn’t think so. I haven’t either. There are few. All right. Isaiah 19:4, “The Egyptians shall be given over unto a hand of a cruel lord, and a fierce king shall rule over them.” And if you know your history, Assyria came in and ruled over Egypt, Babylon came in and ruled over Egypt, Greece came and ruled over Egypt, and then Rome did. And the Egyptians never rose to a prominence in the earth, okay, just like God said. And these atheists and these people that attack the Bible, you know, they got to be confronted with these facts. Are you there? Hallelujah.
▶ 4:47 The desert of the sea. Okay, and here’s where I get the desert of the sea. He says, “Go up,” or attack, “O Elam.” You know, we say, “Oh, God, come.” Okay, he said, “Elam, go up and attack. Media, go up and besiege,” and then he keeps talking about it, and then it says Babylon has fallen. So Persia, the Medes and the Persians are the ones that rose up and destroyed the kingdom of Babylon, if you know your history, right? And we’ve taught you this before, it’s just a a remembrance session. And so this powerful God, when he says a nation in the natural is going to fall, it’s going to fall, okay? But that also means when he says something in the spiritual is going to happen, it’s going to happen.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 16:14 (NKJV)
But now the LORD has spoken, saying, “Within three years, as the years of a hired man, the glory of Moab will be despised with all that great multitude, and the remnant will be very small and feeble.”
— Isaiah 16:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 3:39Isaiah 19:4 (NKJV)
And the Egyptians I will give Into the hand of a cruel master, And a fierce king will rule over them,” Says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
— Isaiah 19:4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:05Isaiah 21:2 (NKJV)
A distressing vision is declared to me; The treacherous dealer deals treacherously, And the plunderer plunders. Go up, O Elam! Besiege, O Media! All its sighing I have made to cease.
— Isaiah 21:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:53What does Edom’s lost birthright mean, and why does God say “return”? (Isaiah 21:11-12)
Short answer: He says Edom, the offspring of Esau, gave up the birthright, which was the right to the inheritance, and that many Christians do the same by just wanting to go to heaven and not inheriting “love, joy, peace, self-control.” He says God’s message to Edom is positive: “inquire,” “return,” which he equates with repent, and “come on back, I’ll give you inheritance.”
▶ 5:42 Now, Isaiah 21:11. Dumah is a city down here. Now I, in my research, have a hard time believing that. Edom, Edom is the offspring of Esau, who gave up his birthright. The birthright was the right to the inheritance. Okay, and many Christians give up their inheritance. They just want to believe God and go to heaven, get taken up in the rapture, and they don’t inherit love, joy, peace, self-control, meekness, kindness, faith. they They don’t inherit these things. They give up their birthright. But Edom, from my study, is right in this area, but they could have reached down into this far at one time or another. So anyway, he calls to me out of Seir. Seir is Edom, it’s another name for Edom, okay? “If you will inquire, inquire.” Now, this is what he says to the ones, the offspring who rejected the inheritance. Okay, he says, “Inquire,” ask. Ask. And then the reply is what? “Return, come back.” And what’s another word for return? Repent, you know? Okay, turn from your giving up your birthright. Turn and come back to me. Now, this is a positive prophecy to Edom. Hallelujah. He didn’t say there were going to be few and all this and that and the other. He said you need to turn and come back and I’ll give you your inheritance. Ain’t that beautiful? How many of you know Christians, or maybe you’re one, that hadn’t bothered about the inheritance? Well, God can says, “Come on back, come on back, I’ll give you inheritance.”
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 21:11-12 (NKJV)
The burden against Dumah. He calls to me out of Seir, “Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?” The watchman said, “The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; Return! Come back!”
— Isaiah 21:11-12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:43What happens when we make our own plans instead of waiting for God’s plan? (Isaiah 21:16-17, Isaiah 22)
Short answer: He says Ishmael came from Abraham and Sarah trying to get God’s promise done themselves, which is “what a lot of Christians do”: they come up with their own plan and wind up with a mess. He says “your own plans are always going to fail,” and that Judah was carried into captivity just as God said, because “they didn’t pursue God.”
▶ 8:02 Okay, Isaiah 21:16. Arabia. “Within a year all the glory of Kedar,” Ishmael, it’s another word for Ishmael and his offspring. Ishmael was the offspring of Abraham through Sarah’s handmaiden. Okay, when ab Abraham and Sarah tried to get God’s promise done themselves, and this is what a lot of Christians do, they come up with their own plan instead of waiting for God’s plan and following God’s plan. Come up with our own plan and then we have a mess on our hands, all right? You’re going to fail. And yeah, your own plans are always going to fail, folks, and you’re going to have to do what Edom did. You’re going to have to come back. Could that have be an amen? Amen. You can’t dream up your own plan plans, and America’s filled with people with their own plans, they got got all figured out their way. You better find out how he says his way is.
▶ 9:15 Then Isaiah 22:7, the valley of vision. Shebna, he says, talks about Shebna, a specific man that was an official in Hezekiah’s kingdom, and he said you’re going to be carried away with a mighty captivity. And Babylon came and carried away Judah into captivity just like God said. Amen. So we have a powerful God, and what you guys got to remember, he’s the same yesterday, today and forever. And if he can do things like this in the old days, he can do things like this today. But we need to pursue him. See, they didn’t pursue God. God raised up prophets to tell them and all the rest, and they just hold hum and on, and aren’t we kind of like that in America?
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 21:16-17 (NKJV)
For thus the LORD has said to me: “Within a year, according to the year of a hired man, all the glory of Kedar will fail; and the remainder of the number of archers, the mighty men of the people of Kedar, will be diminished; for the LORD God of Israel has spoken it.”
— Isaiah 21:16-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:03Isaiah 22:7 (NKJV)
It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys Shall be full of chariots, And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.
— Isaiah 22:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:16Isaiah 22:15 (NKJV)
Thus says the Lord GOD of hosts: “Go, proceed to this steward, To Shebna, who is over the house, and say:
— Isaiah 22:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:23 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
— Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:48 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What happened to Tyre and Sidon, and what does he say must happen before we are caught up? (Isaiah 23:1)
Short answer: He says Tyre and Sidon were a strong fortress on an island that “they thought they were impregnable” until a conqueror built a causeway and destroyed it, and “they never rose again.” He says “there are so much going to happen before we’re caught up in the air to be with Christ,” and that God is going to raise up a generation to initiate these things.
▶ 10:08 Yeah, the most exciting things in America, Christians, is are waiting for the rapture that’s supposed to come any minute. Folks, there are so much going to happen before we’re caught up in the air to be with Christ, so much powerful things, powerful things. But when you’re... ham and long as you know you’re going to die and go to heaven, you’re okay. But God’s going to raise up a generation that’s going to initiate these things, and I want to be a part of it. How about you? Hallelujah. Tyre. Isaiah 23:1, “It is laid waste, and be ashamed, Of Sidon.” So he hits Tyre and Sidon at the same time, and most of you know, you know, that was a strong fortress on an island and they thought they were impregnable, and they were for centuries. And then Alexander the Great come along, build a causeway, attacked it, destroyed it, and they never rose again. Hallelujah, just like God said. All right, it’s going to be laid waste, and Alexander the Great did it.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 23:1 (NKJV)
The burden against Tyre. Wail, you ships of Tarshish! For it is laid waste, So that there is no house, no harbor; From the land of Cyprus it is revealed to them.
— Isaiah 23:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:43What is “the day of the Lord,” and what does he say will happen in it? (Isaiah 13:6-13)
Short answer: He says the “burden” means divine utterance, and that in the middle of the prophecies about natural cities Isaiah switches to the prophetic day of the Lord, the time before and when He comes. He lists that it is a day of destruction from God, that men’s hearts will melt, that sinners will be destroyed for the evil they do, and that the stars, sun and moon will be darkened, so that “you’re going to look up and it’s going to be black.”
▶ 11:17 Now, that is the prophecies, the utterances. The burden means utterance, divine utterances, prophetic utterances to these natural cities and kingdoms. But in the middle of all this he speaks of something else, and this is what God does. That’s how he hides things in his scriptures, that’s how he makes them a mystery. is He’ll be speaking directly to, like, Egypt, now all of a sudden he switches. He’ll be talking directly to the Back kingdom, of Babylon, all of a sudden he switches. All right, we’re going to go back and look at the switch. Hallelujah. Here it is: the prophetic day of the Lord. Now, remember, the day of the Lord is the time of the Lord when he comes, and also the day of the Lord is the period before he comes, and the day of the Lord is a period of what he’s doing at the time he’s doing it. So you can individually experience your day in the Lord in different aspects. We, as a generation in the present time, can experience what God is doing throughout the world in this time of the Lord, day of the Lord, and then you got him appearing.
▶ 12:46 All right, so there’s several things. He’s directly going to, it it’s just clear as a bell. Okay, number one, it’s a day of destruction from God. You know, back in the ‘50s everybody was preaching that God was going to use the atomic bomb to destroy the world. Russia and America was going to get atomic warfare and they were just going to blow up each other, and they and the radiation was going to wipe out the rest of the world. Listen, God don’t need man’s help when he is going to do something. You understand that? See, this destruction comes from God and people are going to know it’s from God. All right, number two: men’s hearts will melt, they’ll be afraid and in pain in this day of the Lord. Number three: sinners will be destroyed for their... what? Evil. Not their thoughts of doing evil, but the evil that they’re doing, they evil deeds. Sinners are going to be destroyed. And that destruction, we found out, is from who? God. Number four: the stars, the sun and moon will be darkened. Interesting, very interesting. And this is where Bill O’Reilly missed it in his book, The Killing of Jesus. They look for a natural fulfillment of this when it’s supernatural. Okay, and I’ll get into it a little more.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 13:6-13 (NKJV)
Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames. Behold, the day of the LORD comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine. “I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the LORD of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger.
— Isaiah 13:6-13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 12:05 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Does God show mercy to His people in the day of the Lord, even those who devised their own way? (Isaiah 14:1, Romans 10:9-10)
Short answer: He says Isaiah promises “mercy to Jacob and Israel,” the church, even those who “devised their own way of serving and worshiping God,” and that God “is going to be merciful to us during it,” which means “we’re not going to be destroyed.” He says strangers are joined to them as sinners wake up, admit they are wrong, and that “with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
▶ 14:35 Sun, moon and stars. In other words, the heavens are going to be what? Dark. It’s the sun that gives off light, the stars, the sun is a star, right, gives off light. The moon is a reflector of light, and if there’s no light to reflect, it goes out. So the heavens are going to be dark. You’re going to look up and it’s going to be black. Are you there? I mean, there’s some big stuff going to happen, folks, before Jesus appears, big stuff. He’s going to make his power and greatness known in the earth before he appears in the sky. Hallelujah. mercy to Jacob and Israel. Whoa, all right, now, like that, who’s Jacob? All the 12 tribes of Israel, right? The church. Who’s Israel? The church. But in this part he’s saying Jacob, the whole church, and then he uses Israel. Israel is the one that’s separated from the 10 tribes, separated from the 12, and became the northern kingdom, and the Bible says they worship God with things they devised in their own heart. And they never had one good king. They just served God the way they thought was appropriate for their mind, the heart is the mind, they made up their own way of serving and worshiping God. Do we have Christians like that today? Absolutely.
▶ 16:22 One of their famous statements is, “Well, I don’t see it that way.” “Well, I believe, I I believe,” and that’s supposed to justify everything because you believe it, and that’s a tip-off that you’re talking to an Israelite Christian. Israelite. Hallelujah. But there’s mercy to the church, even to the ones who have devised their own way of serving and worshiping God. God’s going to be merciful. Oh, all right, I can handle that, hallelujah. So I don’t have to be worried about this day of destruction, do I? Do I? I don’t have to hope that Jesus going to snatch me out of it, because here it says he’s going to be merciful and kind to me in it. Are you out there? But see, people that don’t really know God and people that really don’t know the Bible, they think we got to escape this great time of the Lord where there’s destruction and God showing his power in the earth. No, folks, he is going to be merciful to us during it. That means we’re not going to be destroyed. Hallelujah, it’s going to pay to serve Jesus in that day.
▶ 17:49 Number six: strangers will be joined unto them, Jacob and Israel, the ones that he’s being merciful to. Now watch. Up here, sinners are destroyed for their evil, but down here some of these sinners wake up and go, “Hey, I got to change my way.” So they admit their wrong. If we confess our sins, say with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. You guys understand that? With the heart man believeth unto righteousness, Romans 9:10 through 11, but with the mouth confession is made into what? Salvation. Confession is made into what? Salvation. You got to admit you’re wrong. You can believe for righteousness, but until you admit you’re wrong and you repent and turn, you’re not saved. You can grace and faith said all you want to, hallelujah, you better read Romans 9:10, 11:12. It’s very powerful. He goes on to say, “How will they hear without a preacher?” How they going to believe if they don’t hear, and how they going to hear without somebody speaking it? You should be sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to people.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 14:1 (NKJV)
For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob.
— Isaiah 14:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:19Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
— Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:23Romans 10:14 (NKJV)
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
— Romans 10:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 19:07Will people still be saved in that day, and who rules over their oppressors? (Isaiah 14:2, Daniel 7)
Short answer: He says many of those “destined to be destroyed” will be getting saved in that day, and that he has seen people try to kill themselves because they were afraid they could not make it through the tribulation if they missed the rapture. He says “that pre-tribulation rapture thing is very destructive,” and that the saints will rule over their oppressors, which is why we are not in heaven when that happens.
▶ 19:17 Anyway, strangers are joined to them, but that when they admit their wrong, they repent from the wrong, they turn, these people that are destined to be destroyed, many of them are getting saved in that day. And your pre-tribulation rapture people say, “Boy, if you don’t get saved before the rapture, you’re just, you know, you’re just not going to make it, cuz it’s going to be so bad.” And I’ve had to, and I’ve seen people try to kill themselves because they’re afraid they couldn’t make it through the tribulation period if they didn’t, you know, get caught up with God and, you know, make it in a rapture. Literally, I’ve dealt with people that tried to commit suicide, that uh that pre-tribulation rapture thing is very destructive. You know, I deal with people all the time and I know the destruction in it. Anyway, I’m just throwing that out.
▶ 20:11 they rule over their oppressors. Now, how you going to rule over your oppressors if you’re up in heaven? Oppressors is the tyrant. Okay, and remember Daniel said that we would be under our enemy for a season, and then then we get to rule over. The saints of the Most High will rule. Are you there? You can go back to the Daniel lessons and learn all this. So the bottom line is the scriptures are uniform throughout. All right, you don’t have to rubber band scriptures and bend them and stretch them, they’re uniform throughout. So these are seven things that are going to happen. All right, now we’re going to deal with men’s hearts and the stars. I’m going to expand on it.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 14:2 (NKJV)
Then people will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them for servants and maids in the land of the LORD; they will take them captive whose captives they were, and rule over their oppressors.
— Isaiah 14:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:11Daniel 7:18 (NKJV)
But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’
— Daniel 7:18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:22 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Was the star the wise men followed a supernatural event, and what does it say about signs in the sun, moon and stars? (Luke 21:25, Matthew 2)
Short answer: He says Luke 21:25 speaks of “signs in the sun, moon and stars,” and that the star the wise men followed could not have been the sun or a normal star because it appeared, disappeared and reappeared over a specific house and “only the wise men saw it.” He says “it’s a supernatural event,” so God can do a separate supernatural thing with the sun, moon and stars before Christ comes, and “this stuff’s got to happen before Christ comes.”
▶ 20:59 Luke 21:25, “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars.” Okay, Jesus said, Jesus is talking here. Okay, the wise men followed a star. Okay, that star disappeared and then reappeared over the house where Jesus was. Now, folks, the nearest star to us is millions of miles away. We call it what? The sun. Okay, now you tell me how they’re going to follow the sun to Jerusalem, to a specific house. Tell me how’s that going to happen? If we move that star closer, we’re going to boil. Are you there? We’re just the right amount from the sun to keep us from baking or freezing. Now, these wise men are following a star. It could have been angel, same word for angel, messenger, or he could have created a little sun that was just up there where they could follow. It wasn’t in the stratosphere at at all. See, he’s supernatural, folks. Do you get this? You can’t take your natural mind and go, “Well, duh, you know, they were, it was not really a star, they were following the stars, navigating by the stars.” Well, how does the navigation shine over a specific house in Judea, in Jerusalem, or Bethlehem, I’m sorry? It can’t be done. And how does that sun disappear that star disappear, and then reappear? In the natural, it can’t be done. Are you there? It’s a supernatural event. Are you with me? I submit to you it was a supernatural event, and not only that, only the wise men saw it. No one else was seeing it. Are you there?
▶ 23:25 So whether there was an angel following them, I mean they were following, or whether it was a actual light that God just put, you know, a couple hundred foot above the earth and they could follow, it it’s still a supernatural thing that God did, meaning he can do a separate supernatural thing before he comes with the sun, moon and stars. Can he? Yeah. And this stuff’s got to happen before Christ comes. These people that say Christ can come in a minute are off the rocker. If they would really read this Bible, God is going to demonstrate his power and glory before he comes into heavens with a mighty dis uh uh uh display to win people to him. Hallelujah. I’m glad you’re excited.
Scripture in this part
Luke 21:25 (NKJV)
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
— Luke 21:25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:59Matthew 2:9 (NKJV)
When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.
— Matthew 2:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:11 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What do “distress,” “perplexity” and the roaring seas mean? (Luke 21:25-26)
Short answer: He says “distress” is “a narrowing of the way” where the walls close in, and that “perplexity” is when nations have no solution and no comprehension of what is happening. He says the seas and waves roaring will be supernatural, with no scientific explanation, and will bring many sinners to repentance while others harden their hearts.
▶ 24:23 Okay, and then he says on earth, distress. Distress means misery, pain, but more importantly it’s a narrowing of the way. Narrowing of the way, you get more restricted, you can’t move, the walls, it’s like Indiana Jones, the walls are caving in, you know, closing in, you know, and if he doesn’t do something he’s going to get squished. Okay, what’s going to do? He’s going to narrow the way. Narrow the way is more of the nations, the people, and it goes along with with perplexity. See, perplexity is they have no solution, they have no comprehension, they don’t understand what’s happening. And I’m going to love that day when the evolutionists have no answer and the atheists have no answer. God has narrowed them down to show them they are just men and he is God. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah.
▶ 25:25 The seas and the waves roaring. Man, them oceans are going to be one big display, and you’re not going to be riding surfboards on that ocean, I tell And it’s going to be supernaturally done. When God tells the ocean waves to roar, what are they going to do? Roar. Yes, and there’s no scientific explanation. There’s only one explanation: it is God doing what he said he would do. Hallelujah. And it’s going to bring many of these sinners to repentance. Others will harden their heart and die in it right here on earth, not even talking about the eternal death in the lake of fire, here it’s talking about right here, they’re going to pay for their crime. But the ones that repent, they’ll be saved. Isn’t that beautiful? Oh gosh, folks, that’s exciting. Hallelujah.
Scripture in this part
Luke 21:25-26 (NKJV)
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
— Luke 21:25-26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 24:24Will God pour out His Spirit in the last days, and what does he say the restoration looked like? (Acts 2:18, Luke 21:26-27)
Short answer: He says Acts 2:18 shows God’s Spirit poured out, and asks “why do we have to be raptured before some tribulation when we can be involved in the big demonstration of God?” He says God’s power is supernatural, not “natural events from the creation,” and describes outpourings at Azusa Street, in the late 1940s with the word of knowledge and worship, and in the denominations and Catholic Church in the 1960s.
▶ 26:23 Now he goes on to say men’s hearts failing them for fear. Okay, is that what Isaiah said? Yeah. “Looking after those things which are coming upon the earth, for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Why do we have to be raptured before some tribulation when we can be involved in the big demonstration of God? Something to think about, huh? Look at this one, Acts 2:18, “On my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.” Now, we saw this in the book of Acts chapter 2 where God poured out his Spirit. And Bill O’Reilly was looking for signs in the heavens, you know, eclipses, star meteorite storms and all this stuff. Listen, folks, that’s just natural events from the creation. When God does his thing, it’s going to be supernatural. And this is where, you know, I and I highly recommend Killing Jesus. I told people it’s a great, it was really good. People are hearing about Jesus, they’re hearing the gospel, they’re reading, right, all the verses, I loved it. And he missed in a few points, and this natural scientific approach is where they miss it, all right? And so he wouldn’t use anything that couldn’t be backed up with some kind of natural event back there, and that’s where O’Reilly fell short. God is supernatural, he doesn’t need natural events.
▶ 28:17 Now, we know that this was restored at Azusa Street in LA. People came from all over the world to partake of the visitation of the baptism of Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues, physical healings going on [unclear]. And so we see God restoring. You see, the Bible said, we showed you, there’d be a falling away, then there’d be a restoration. See, God knew all this, he told us all this, and we see the restoration. Okay, then in the late ‘40s we have another outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the earth again. And again people were baptized in the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues and divine healings were done, but something else transpired in the late ‘40s that was added to the Azusa revival, the Azusa visitation, and that was the word of knowledge. They actually could foretell people’s lives, tell them about themselves accurately, the word of knowledge, and then God would heal them or transform them or whatever he wanted to do, because the word of knowledge also brought a powerful presence to receive miraculous things from God. They also brought in praise and worship, the song of the Lord came in at that time. Churches would praise God for an hour, no chorus, just “Blessed is the Lord, glory to God, Jesus, Jesus, his name above every,” they would just worship from a powerful presence igniting from their innermost being.
▶ 30:05 You see, and the denominations of people that came to see what’s going on, many of them got touched by that visitation, otherwise they got passed over, and the Catholics were really passed over during this time. But in the ‘60s, so God came to the Episcopalians and poured out his Holy Spirit on the Episcopalians, immediately the Anglican church he poured out his Spirit upon, and then he went to the Presbyterian, the Lutheran, the Methodists, the Baptist, and 1967 he consummated it by pouring out the Holy Ghost on Catholic. Just went to the Catholic Church and just touched people. They began to speak in tongues, they began to glorify God, filled with the Holy Ghost and power, and he didn’t ask the Pope’s permission or anybody’s permission. And then quickly the Jesus people came along in the ‘70s, and most of them wound up in Spirit-filled churches filled with the Holy Ghost.

And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
— Acts 2:18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:04Why was it dark when Jesus died, and can anyone call on the name of the Lord? (Acts 2:19-21)
Short answer: He says the three hours of darkness when Jesus died could not have been an eclipse, so “he turned down the sun,” putting it “on low” so we did not freeze. He says “whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved,” that from Acts 2 to now “anyone can call,” and that God is saving people even in a time of destruction.
▶ 31:10 Okay, so we see God’s promise of this, but we also got to see, “I will show wonders in heaven above, signs in earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke,” just like Jesus said. There’s going to be some spectacular events going on. “The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood.” And this is where O’Reilly really messed up in his book. When Jesus died on that cross there were three hours of darkness over the whole earth. It could not have been an eclipse. See, they think he died in a certain year because they had an eclipse at that time. There’s no eclipse that lasts 3 hours. See, a full eclipse only lasts about an hour, maybe a little more, and an eclipse over the whole earth can’t be if you know your basic science. Are you there? So what did God do? He turned down the sun. what Why is it so hard for people to think that God can say, “Hey, sun, go out for a while, turn off”? And it wasn’t totally off, because they could there there was darkness but not total darkness, not like in Egypt where they could not see the hand in their face. So he just turned it down, put it on low, and we didn’t freeze. See, scientifically impossible. But with God nothing is what? Impossible. See, you got a supernatural God doing something, so somehow he protected the earth from freezing and at the same time darkened throughout the whole earth. Darkness. Hallelujah.
▶ 33:20 I ought to write a book, Killing of Jesus, and straighten O’Reilly out. No, I tell you, it’s a good book, promotes Jesus, and the history is very accurate from my knowledge of the history. It’s very good. Now, we don’t have the moon into blood yet, but we don’t know what happened back there before the Holy Ghost was poured out, because people are looking for natural, and God could have turned the moon to blood supernaturally, couldn’t he? Yeah. If he says, “Moon, reflect blood,” going to reflect blood. All right, before that great and notable day of the Lord. See, before he comes, and so we see this restoration and visitation before Christ comes, all right? He did all this without appearing. “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” So see, from from Acts 2 to the present day, anyone can call on the name of the Lord and they will, what? Be saved. See, God is saving people even in this time of destruction and all this. He’s what? Saving people, because that’s what God is out to do. And why do we think we got to be snatched away and avoid this stuff and not be a part of a great harvest during this time of destruction? Amen. Oh well. Hallelujah.
Scripture in this part
Acts 2:19-21 (NKJV)
I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
— Luke 23:44-45 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 31:46 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is the tabernacle of David, and what does God restore? (Isaiah 16:5, Amos 9:11-12, Acts 15:14-17)
Short answer: He says Isaiah 16:5 speaks of a throne of mercy established “in the tabernacle of David,” where one sits “in truth,” and that this is Jesus and His word. He says Amos 9:11 and Acts 15 show the tabernacle is not a tent but God “bringing back his people that gave up their inheritance and the heathen that rejected him,” so that “the remainder of men might seek after the Lord.”
▶ 34:56 All right, now Isaiah 16:5. Okay, a mystery hidden in a... can “In mercy the throne will be established.” Okay, he tells us what’s going to happen, there’s going to be a throne of mercy established. Then he tells us who’s going to sit on the throne, one, capitalize, will sit on it in truth. And how he sits on the throne is in truth. Who is the one? Jesus. Who is the truth? Jesus and his word. Yeah, “in the tabernacle of David.” Here we are, that’s the mystery, in the tabernacle of David. David’s tabernacle was a tent with the ark of the covenant in it where God dwelt. Back in the Old Testament he dwelt there, his voice came off of there, he was visibly at night by a pillar of fire, he was visible during the day by a cloud, he spoke from it, and David brought the ark back from the heathen and put it in a tent and went there to worship God. Okay, the tabernacle of David, he’s going to sit on the throne.
▶ 36:17 Ah, man, this one is really confusing. Judging and seeking justice. Judging is the arrest, the accusation, the evidence, the verdict and the punishment or the reward. That’s what judging it, all right? And he’s going to seek justice, what is right, and he backs it up and says “hastening righteousness.” So here God is promising something and he’s using the illustration of the tabernacle of David. Have I lost you? Some of you really look bewildered. Now, yeah, a tent. Amos 9:11. See, Amos knew this stuff in that day. See, there’s “that in that day” again. See, that time before the coming of Christ when God is going to do things. “I will raise up the tabernacle of David that has fallen, close up the breaches thereof, and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.” Well, the days of old it was a tent. See, and if you don’t know the Holy Ghost and you don’t know Jesus and you don’t know your Bible, you’re going to think you’re going to put a you’re going to put a tent down there, bring back the ark of the covenant. No, the ark of the covenant was his presence and his mercy. “That they may possess the remnant of Edom.” Now, who is Edom? Descendants of Esau, who sold their birthright. And what did God say about Edom? Come back. Return.
▶ 38:24 So the text is talking to these Christians again that sold their birthright. They don’t have the inheritance. Most Christians talk about the joy of the Lord but they don’t have it. They talk about love but they don’t possess it. They talk about peace but they don’t have peace. They talk about self-control but they don’t have self-control, they can’t shut their mouth for anything. Are you there? We talk about humbleness but we’re not humble, we’re prideful and cocky people. You got to possess. See, that that’s the inheritance: wisdom. Most Christians never pray for wisdom, and the Bible says it’s a necessity to pray for wisdom, so it should be a very high priority in our prayer. Are you with me? And then the second thing is you got to be reading the Bible to get wisdom, so the two together is how you get wisdom. And most Christians have don’t have enough wisdom. Well, I won’t say what I was going to say, but we’re lacking in wisdom.
▶ 39:31 Okay, not only Edom, not only the ones that gave up their birthright to the inheritance, but also the heathen, the non-believers, which are called by my name. You see, “every who shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” So the restoration of the tabernacle of David is God bringing back his people that gave up their inheritance and the heathen that rejected him. Powerful. That’s the tabernacle of David. Now we go to the New Testament. Acts 15:14, “Simeon declared how God did visit the Gentiles,” okay, the heathen, “and took out of them a people for his name.” Okay, Paul was raised to go to the nations and bring the Gentiles in, and he did, and they’re down in Jerusalem and having a a uh judicial debate about what to do with these Gentiles. Okay, “to this agree the prophets, as it is written, I will return and build again the tabernacle of David which is fallen down. I will build the ruins thereof and set it up.” Now, is he talking about a tent?
▶ 40:48 No. He’s talking about bringing the Christians, in the believers, in that have given up on their inheritance, and he’s taught and given them their inheritance. He’s talking about bringing the heathen in that have rejected him. Amen. And he started in the book of Acts and he’s still doing it, and he’s going to be doing it in the day and the day before Christ comes. He going to be doing this. Isn’t that clear? Amen. Hallelujah. “That the remainder of men might seek after the Lord.” Those left behind, those left behind would find God, and all the what? Gentiles. Folks, God loves the Eskimo, he loves the Mongolians, he loves the people of the island of the sea. He died for them and for us in America to get so, you know, [unclear] in our little small focus and not realize that God loves everybody in the earth. He created them and wants to bring them in. He loves the Muslims. And he’s going to do something before he comes that’s going to get their attention, and if they won’t repent, he’s going to deal with them right there without appearing, and it’s going to be a great day of the Lord. Hallelujah.

Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: ‘After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up; So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD, Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, Says the LORD who does all these things.’

— James 1:5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 39:02 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Does God want to reach Muslims and all nations, and what does Isaiah 19:19 say about Egypt? (Isaiah 19:19-21)
Short answer: He says God loves everybody in the earth, including Muslims, and that in that day Jesus “is going to be honored throughout the earth.” He cites Isaiah 19:19-21, that Egypt will cry to the Lord and He will send them a savior, and says Jesus has personally appeared to Muslims, and “if you think the Muslims are unreachable, you’re not serving a very big Jesus.” He says Christians should pray for laborers and be available to be sent.
▶ 42:19 Powerful. “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be” what? Saved. See, “on whom my name is called,” and anybody calls out the cry. Don’t, everybody, don’t let anybody reduce the power of the name of Jesus, and don’t let them reduce the purpose of Jesus. Jesus is the way, he is the truth, he is the life, no man comes unto the Father but by Jesus. And in that day he is going to be honored throughout the earth, not Allah, not Muhammad, not the Hindus, God and all the rest, or Confucius. It’s going to be Jesus. And don’t be afraid to call on his name, don’t be afraid to to brag about him. am Amen. And there’s coming a time when he is going to prevail. Ministers are going to be nothing. You know, we need to learn to be like John the Baptist: we must decrease and he must increase. Too many ministers are letting people worship them and put their trust in them and their book books and everything else. But in this day, uhuh, honey, you will be humbled whether you want it or not, and he will be exalted. Hallelujah. Powerful. You can feel that.
▶ 43:42 Now here’s an astonishing thing. This is just astonishing to me, so I use the word astonishing. In that day, Isaiah 19:19, Egypt will cry to the Lord because of the oppressors. The oppressors are the tyrants that rule over people and oppress them. He will send them a savior. Who’s the savior? Jesus. A mighty one. Who’s the mighty one? Jesus. He will deliver them. Who’s the deliverer? Jesus. And who is going to be delivered? Egypt. Then the Lord will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day. In that day. Now, folks, you got to understand that Jesus personally appeared to Paul on the road to Damascus. Okay, and that’s not limited to Paul. I I’ve been reading for at least 20 years where Jesus Jus has come to Muslims in Egypt, in Arabia, Syria, all these nations over there, come to them in India, personally, and revealed himself to them, and these Muslims have turned to Christ. Have you read those stories? Yeah. One of the young people sharing it with me this Friday night, and I said, yes, this has been going on for quite a while. Wow. You see, if you think the Muslims are unreachable, you’re not serving a very big Jesus. You know, if you’re mad at the Muslims and hate the Muslims because of all this terrorism and all that, you’re not seeing the other side, that God is bigger than Muhammad, and he loves these people, and he’s going to bring out of that group of people for himself. Can I hear an amen?
▶ 45:56 And people who want the rapture to take place yesterday, if you were a Muslim in Syria right now, I just saw a video where they cut off seven men’s heads and disemboweled them, and their crime was they were a Christian. It’s a gross thing. It’s, you know, and the Muslims are strutting around all proud, “Man, we got the [unclear].” But God can save them. If we won’t go after them, he’ll just appear to them. He’ll get them one way or another. How many you know we need to be available to be sent to people? Amen. Pray the Lord of the harvest that he would what? Send laborers. And if you’re not praying that prayer, “Lord, make me a laborer and send me into the harvest,” you’re like Esau, you’re not getting your inheritance. Part of your inheritance is being a mouthpiece for God, and and and we’re just talking about the gospel. Anybody can preach of God. Not everybody can preach what I’m preaching to you today, but anybody can preach the gospel: Jesus born of a virgin, did signs and wonders, preached the kingdom of God, laid down his life, no man could take it, picked it back up again, rose from the grave, ascended back into heaven for the sins of the world, and if you call on him he will forgive you, cleanse you and empower you to become a son of God. that’s That’s the gospel. Hallelujah.

In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the LORD because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. — John 3:30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 43:17 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does Isaiah say about Egypt and Assyria being blessed, and what is the strong city with salvation as its walls? (Isaiah 19:22-25, Isaiah 26:1-2)
Short answer: He says “Israel will be one with Egypt and Assyria,” and that God uses nations and the humanist to correct His people but “they overcorrect,” while God “just wants us corrected.” He describes a city with walls called salvation and a gate, and says you can only get in through the name of Jesus, and that at the gate Jesus asks whether you are keeping the truth, and if you confess you are forgiven.
▶ 47:32 “The Lord will heal Egypt and they will return to the Lord.” Isn’t that beautiful? Has that happened in history? No. So how can Jesus come? “Israel will be one with Egypt and Assyria.” Wow. Remember, Israel are those that devised a way of worshiping and serving God from their own heart. Egypt are those that enslaved Jacob, Christians, and rejected the signs and the wonders that God did. Assyria is the nation God used to correct his people, but they overcorrected, and God raised up Babylon to correct them. Are you there? “A blessing in the midst of the land. The Lord shall bless, saying, Blessed is Egypt my people.” Say it, my people. We have not seen this fulfilled yet. “Blessed is Assyria the work of my hands.” Right now God uses the humanist, the atheist and so forth, and he uses nations to correct his people, all right, and they overcorrect. People that God used to correct his people always overcorrect and try to stomp on us and put us out, and God just wants us corrected and change our ways. Ain’t that right? Ain’t that right? Yeah. He’s not out to annihilate us. He just kind of get like a father, a son, you know, you got to get the kid’s attention. You’re doing something that’s going to destroy your life, life boy, Dad’s got to straighten you out. And Israel my inheritance. And what’s God’s portion? In the Genesis, why did he do all this? To inherit us. Amen. The Lord’s portion is his people, his inheritance is his people.
▶ 49:51 Now, and closing here, it is again, this is the third time he’s brought up praising and worshiping God and tells us how and what to say and so forth. “In that day this song shall be sung in the land of Judah.” And getting songs that the Spirit is birthing is vitally important in our worship services, songs that the Spirit’s speaking and using, because music and songs in the church is a powerful tool God is using to touch people’s lives. “We have a strong city.” Doesn’t the Bible say let the weak say they are strong? Can you say you’re strong today? Why? Because the Lord is the captain, he is the power and strength of the church. We are a strong church. Amen. Strong city. “God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks,” okay, or defenses. Now, you got to understand this is how it works. Here’s the city, here’s the gate, and here’s the the walls, okay, and here’s the bulwarks, the towers and all that, the defenses. So I come up to this spiritual city, I come to the wall, cuz I don’t want to go through that. I don’t want to go, St. Peter standing at the pearly gate, you know, I don’t want to be confronted. So I try to get through the wall. It’s an invisible wall, but the wall is called salvation, all right? And I go up there and I going to go through this wall, and bam, it knocks me back.
▶ 51:27 Okay, and it lights up and says, “Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and his blood to forgive you and save you from sin?” “No, but I want in.” Bam, another light lights up and says, “Have you kept his commandments to enter into this eternal city?” “No, but I want in.” Bam. I can’t get in, because salvation is its wall. I can only get in through salvation. I can’t get in any other way, and there’s no salvation in any other name but the name of Jesus. Say the name, Jesus. Don’t be ashamed of that name. It’s powerful. And when you’re praising God, if you can’t say anything else, just say Jesus. Man, it’s powerful thing to praise. So I try one more time. Bam, another light lights up and says, “Go to the gate.” “Well, I want to go... go to the gate?” “Go to the gate, you’re not getting in.” So I go to the gate. “Open the gates, so the people keeping the what truth may enter in.” Oh man, I knew that. That’s why I didn’t want to go to the gate. I don’t want to keep the truth, I don’t want... I want to do my thing and I want to go to heaven, I want eternal life. I go to the gate and guess who’s there? Jesus, the truth. What’s he got in his hand? The Bible, the scriptures. The scriptures are truth. And he’s going to say, “Are you keeping the truth?” And I have to, what, admit and say no, I’ve done this, that and the other. And once I confess, what happens? He forgives me. I’m cleansed. And if I got so much pride I won’t confess, I’m turned away, I don’t get in. Are you there, church? Hallelujah.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 19:22-25 (NKJV)
And the LORD will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to the LORD, and He will be entreated by them and heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.”

— Isaiah 26:1-2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 50:28 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Acts 4:12 (NKJV)
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
— Acts 4:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 52:01 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does desire for Jesus have to do with worship, and why do God’s judgments teach righteousness? (Isaiah 26:8-19)
Short answer: He says a big key is letting the Holy Ghost put in us a desire for Jesus, not for what we can get from Him. He says “it’s not faith that causes people to live right, it’s not grace… it’s the judgment,” quotes “let grace be shown to the wicked” and “yet he will not learn righteousness,” and says “this flattering gospel of just grace and faith has destroyed the church in America.” He closes with “your dead shall live” and a restoration of the church and the nations.
▶ 53:43 Now here is a very important part. they they That’s what worship was about this morning. “I desire you in the night, by my spirit I seek you early.” Morning and night, I desire you, I desire you. I’m not looking for a better job, I’m not looking for a ministry in the church, Jesus, I desire you. Powerful. Most people have never experienced what the woman with the alabaster box experience. She came to Jesus because she loved him. She didn’t even ask for her sins to be forgiven, she didn’t ask anything from him, she just came and loved him, and Jesus forgave her. She desired Jesus. Folks, a big key is we got to let the Holy Ghost put in us a desire for Jesus. People that desire Jesus, they have a drive to come to church, they have a drive to read the Bible, they have a drive to pray. Why? They have a desire that compels them and motivates them, and who is that desire about? Jesus. Not what I can get from him, not my prayer petition, but just him. And that’s going to be a big thing in that day. Hallelujah. And you get your what you need automatically when you touch him. That’s the key.
▶ 55:50 “When your judgments are in the earth.” Now, what’s the judgment? The arrest, the evidence, the trial, say the sentence, and then the punishment of the reward. “When your judgments are in the earth,” now, young people, this is very important for you to know, young Christians, “the inhabitants of the world will never learn righteousness.” I’m sorry, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness I’ve jumped ahead of myself. See, it’s not faith that causes people to live right, it’s not grace that causes people to live right, it’s the judgment. It’s that fear of God that he can bring something in my life to correct me, and eternally correct me if I reject. And so we need, and this is where the American Christian has really blown it since I came into the kingdom, is we haven’t maintained an authoritative position in our government for Bible morality. And now we got kids that don’t have any morals, we got families that don’t have any morals. The humanist and these people that that trample on Bible morality has given us a nation that’s immoral.
▶ 57:25 Now listen at this, read this with me, ready? “Let grace be shown to the wicked.” Did you read that? Let’s do it again, let’s do it with authority: “Let grace be shown to the wicked.” Yeah, hallelujah. All you hear today is grace and faith, okay. “Let grace, favor, be shown to the wicked,” and what does the prophet say? “Yet he will not learn righteousness.” Why? Because because it’s the judgments that teach righteousness. And folks, that’s the way it is in the kingdom. God wants to correct us, and this this flattering gospel of just grace and faith has destroyed the church in America and weakened it tremendously. Are you out there?
▶ 58:19 “You’re dead shall live and they shall arise.” And it says a lot of good stuff. I just took some excerpts out of this, it’s very powerful. “Your dead shall live and they shall arise.” See, these people in the world, they going to live and they will arise. As Christians, are going to live and we’re going to arise. The whole purpose of God is for us to, what, live and arise out of trespasses and sin and live a life for Christ. Can I hear an amen? Now, is there a big thing coming up here according to Isaiah? Yes. And you younger ones have a chance to be in part of this. I’ve been in part of this, but it’s obvious I’m going to miss out on some of this good stuff here. But you young people have a tremendous thing to look forward to: the the restoration of the church in America, the restoration of the nation in America, the restoration of the nations of the world, God showing himself that he’s God in a powerful way. You may get to see, and you will see, a lot more of that, and I’ve seen, and I’ve showed you that we’ve be we’ve been able to see it since Azusa, in fact since Luther put his thesis on the wall. It’s been a process, but we’re in the end of this process, and tremendous things are going to happen. Amen.

Short answers drawn only from what he says in this message, each with the moment in the video.
What does he say a “burden” is in the prophets?
He says “the burden means utterance, divine utterances, prophetic utterances” to natural cities and kingdoms. He says God sometimes hides a second message in them: “that’s how he makes them a mystery.”
Why does he say prophecy switches from nations to the day of the Lord?
He says God will be “speaking directly to like Egypt” and then “all of a sudden he switches.” He says “that’s how he hides things in his scriptures, that’s how he makes them a mystery.”
What does he say “the day of the Lord” means?
He says it is the time when the Lord comes, “the period before he comes,” and “a period of what he’s doing at the time he’s doing it.” He says each generation can experience what God is doing in its day of the Lord.
Does he say man will destroy the world with weapons?
He says that back in the 1950s everyone preached God would use the atomic bomb to destroy the world, and answers “God don’t need man’s help when he is going to do something.” He says this destruction “comes from God and people are going to know it’s from God.”
What does he mean by an “Israelite Christian”?
He says Israel was the northern kingdom that “worship God with things they devised in their own heart,” never had a good king, and served God “the way they thought was appropriate for their mind.” He says a tip-off is the statement “well, I believe,” as if believing justifies everything.
Does he say believers must escape the great day of the Lord?
He says people who don’t know the Bible “think we got to escape this great time of the Lord,” but “he is going to be merciful to us during it, that means we’re not going to be destroyed.” He says “it’s going to pay to serve Jesus in that day.”
Why does he say we must admit we are wrong?
He says “you can believe for righteousness, but until you admit you’re wrong and you repent and turn, you’re not saved.” He cites that with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Scripture (NKJV)that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
— Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:23
What does he say about the pre-tribulation rapture teaching?
He says people tell others they will not make it if they are not saved before the rapture, and that he has dealt with people who tried to commit suicide because of it. He says “that pre-tribulation rapture thing is very destructive.”
Why does he say you do not have to bend the scriptures?
He says “the scriptures are uniform throughout,” so “you don’t have to rubber band scriptures and bend them and stretch them.” He says there are seven things that will happen in that day.
Why does he say the wise men’s star could not be a normal star?
He says the nearest star is the sun and if it were moved closer we would boil, so they could not follow it to a specific house, and it disappeared and reappeared. He says it could have been an angel or “a little sun” God made, and that “it’s a supernatural event.”
What does he say about the word of knowledge?
He says it was added in the late 1940s: people “actually could foretell people’s lives, tell them about themselves accurately,” and God would heal or transform them. He says it brought a powerful presence and worship, with churches praising God for an hour.
What does he say about the 1960s outpouring in the denominations?
He says God poured out His Spirit on Episcopalians, Anglicans, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Methodists and Baptists, and in 1967 on the Catholic Church, and “he didn’t ask the Pope’s permission or anybody’s permission.” He says the Jesus people came along in the 1970s.
Does he say God loves people of every nation?
He says “God loves everybody in the earth. He created them and wants to bring them in,” and lists Eskimos, Mongolians and the people of the islands of the sea. He also says God loves Muslims.
What does he say about ministers in that day?
He says “ministers are going to be nothing” and “we need to learn to be like John the Baptist: we must decrease and he must increase.” He says too many ministers are letting people worship them and put their trust in them.
Scripture (NKJV)He must increase, but I must decrease.
— John 3:30 (NKJV) (quoted; reference not named in the message)▶ Hear it at 43:17
How does he sum up the gospel?
He says Jesus was born of a virgin, did signs and wonders, preached the kingdom of God, laid down His life, rose from the grave and ascended for the sins of the world, and “if you call on him he will forgive you, cleanse you and empower you to become a son of God.”
About this transcript
This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added by hand, and obvious caption errors were corrected; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor note: he says “Isaiah 13:17” for Babylon “shall never be inhabited,” which is in Isaiah 13:19-20 (verse 17 mentions the Medes), and “Isaiah 22:7” for the valley of vision and Shebna, who is addressed at Isaiah 22:15; his words are kept as spoken and the surrounding passages are linked. The caption reads “Romans 9:10 through1,” where the words quoted are Romans 10:9-10. Caption garbles were corrected where the words were clear (for example “mees” to “Medes,” “s ty” to “Tyre,” “shna” to “Shebna,” “ory” to “O’Reilly,” “isua” to “Azusa,” “bullworks” to “bulwarks”). Three spots are marked [unclear]. His comments on Muslims, the Catholic Church, politics, current events, the pre-tribulation rapture, a well-known author’s book and the “Israelite Christian” description are his own and are not verified here. The video he refers to showing violence against Christians is not named. Select any time to jump to that moment on YouTube.
