Overlooked Future Intervention: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
In “Overlooked Future Intervention,” Pastor David G. Kincer teaches Isaiah 2:4 and Micah 4 and says a future global intervention by God will end war through the terror of the Lord, as seen on a smaller scale with Jehoshaphat, Jacob and Solomon. He reads Isaiah 2:5-22 on the proud being humbled in that day, and Hebrews 12:26-28 on the shaking of created things, and says man-made doctrines and lifestyles need to be shaken.
What does Isaiah 2 say about God teaching his ways in the last days?
Short answer: He says it is about the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house is Zion, which is the church, and all nations will flow into it. He says God has to open your understanding to learn his ways, and that Americans are not yet walking in them, with psychology and sympathy coming out of the church more than the word.
▶ 0:00 Last week we learned that this is about the last days. It will come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established at the top of the mountains which we found the mountain of the Lord’s house was Zion. Zion is the church and be exalted above all the hills. All religions and all nations shall flow into it. And we have seen that many nations have come into the church and many people will come and say let us go up to the house of the mountain of the Lord and he will teach us his ways. He will teach us his ways. You can’t get this through personal intellect. God has got to open your understanding. He will teach us his ways and we shall walk in his path.
▶ 0:53 Now, we have seen the revelation of teachers being raised up in these last 50 years like never before bringing us the word of God, but we haven’t seen walking in his ways. Is America believers walking in the ways of God? No. Come on. Out of Zion the church shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 50 years ago, there was a word pouring out. Today, we got psychology, we got sympathy pouring out of the church and not the word of God. Now, there are groups that are preaching the word, but not overall in America. And so we come to verse four and he is going to make a tremendous statement here.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 2:2-3 (NKJV)
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
— Isaiah 2:2-3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:05What does Isaiah 2:4, "He shall judge among the nations," mean?
Short answer: He says "he" is Jesus, and that "shall" in the Hebrew is a word where it is impossible to stop it, and that rebuke is almost like judgment: to address an issue, condemn it and bring punishment. He reads that the nations will beat their swords into plowshares and not learn war anymore, and says we should not rubber band the verse to fit a millennium reign.
▶ 1:56 Okay. He and we know he is Jesus. The one that will teach us his ways and the path that we’re to walk in is his paths. All right. He Jesus will judge among the nations. Shall judge. Shall in the Hebrew is a word that it’s impossible to stop it. It’s a very powerful word and rebuke many people. And the word rebuke is almost like the word judgment. Okay? He’s going to try. He’s going to address an issue. He’s going to condemn it. He’s going to bring punishment. All right? Then and and He says they they are the nations and the people that he’s rebuking that he is judging.
▶ 2:53 Got it? They these nations he’s rebuking and judging will beat their swords into plowshares or plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. And this awesome statement, nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war anymore. Now, most people just really conveniently put this into what they call the millennium reign of Christ, but we’re just going to bring it as the scripture stated. Okay? We’re not going to rubber band anything. Rubber band means you take a verse over here and you stretch it to fit into something that you want to accomplish. All right. Now, we know that the church part has been fulfilled and we know that many nations are coming into the church.
▶ 3:51 I also shared last week that there were two tribes of people, one in South America and one in Indonesia just a few years back that were discovered that they never knew was on this earth before. And how many nations must hear the gospel before Jesus comes? Every one of them. So these people in the ‘50s, [unclear], ‘80s, ‘60s, ‘90s that were saying Jesus is going to come, he couldn’t come because there were people that still haven’t even been discovered that need to hear the gospel. Are you there? You see, we get all worked up about some things that the radio and TV and and the books and the Christian bookstores pass on and we don’t take time to really research the Bible and get understanding of it.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 2:4 (NKJV)
He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
— Isaiah 2:4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:56Has the end of war in Isaiah 2:4 already been fulfilled?
Short answer: He says there was never a time on earth when God globally intervened and there were no wars, so this is a future thing. He reads Micah 4:5 that every man will sit under his vine and fig tree and none will make them afraid, and says less than half of the church in America is walking in the ways of its God.
▶ 4:46 So, we just accept nonsense and we get caught up in a gospel of nonsense. This, my friend, has not been fulfilled. I know my history. I’ve done a lot of research and there was never a time on earth where there was a global intervention of God where there were no wars. So this is a future thing. It’s got to happen. Can I hear that? Could be true. That could be true. Hallelujah. See, I’ve told you for 40 years, I’ve been telling people, Jesus Christ is not going to come in my lifetime because there’s so many things to be fulfilled before he can come. And I’ve been branded as a cult leader.
▶ 5:38 I’ve been branded as a weirdo and everything else. But 40 years have gone by and Jesus hasn’t come. Why didn’t he come? Because everything has to be fulfilled. And he’s got some tremendous work to do in the earth. And Isaiah is going to open our understanding to that. Are you ready? In Micah 4:5, now we know that Micah prophesied the same identical words about the last days, the house of the Lord being established at top the mountains and all nations flowing in it and so forth. Then Micah in verse five after this statement says, “They shall sit every man under his vine and fig tree and none shall make them afraid.” You see what’s he talking about?
▶ 6:37 No wars. He confirms it. Micah confirms it and backs it up. And when is all this going to happen? In the last days. All right. He’s talking about the last days. All right. Micah also goes on to say, “For all people will walk everyone in the name of his God. And we will walk in the name of the Lord our God.” Now, I would say less than 50% of the church in America are even coming close to walking in the ways of the God they believe in. Could that be true? Yes, folks, it’s true. We can we can dream and fantasize all we want, but there is so much preaching on faith that Christians just believe they’re going to heaven no matter what they believe and do.
▶ 7:39 In America and that’s a fact they are so addicted to the message of faith they fail to even consider when the rich man came to Jesus and said what must I do to have eternal life Jesus said keep the commandments he didn’t say believe on me now we’re supposed to believe on him that’s one of the of the for parts of the formula, but keeping his commandment is the second part. And America has been so drugged in the church world on just faith that they have no performance at all. And we find that this part has not been fulfilled in our generation.
▶ 8:37 Are people walking in the name of their God? Absolutely. Without shame, without conviction, without a challenge. And many Christians have contrived their own God out of Jesus. They just kind of make Jesus what they want him to be. And we’re not walking in the way Jesus walked at all, are we? So, is Isaiah hitting this thing on the head for our generation? Yeah, absolutely. And this is, you know, hundreds and hundreds of years ago. So, I proclaim to you that this is not fulfilled globally. Could that be an amen? Now, let’s look at some truths we know about judgment.
Scripture in this part
Micah 4:1-5 (NKJV)
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore. But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, And no one shall make them afraid; For the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken. For all people walk each in the name of his god, But we will walk in the name of the LORD our God Forever and ever.
— Micah 4:1-5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:38Matthew 19:16-17 (NKJV)
Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
— Matthew 19:16-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:50 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Can God bring about an end to wars without appearing on the earth?
Short answer: He says Jesus is a judge with an appointed day and that he doesn’t have to be here in person for that. He gives Jehoshaphat, Jacob’s sons and Solomon’s reign as examples where the terror of the Lord fell on the surrounding nations and there was no war, and asks if God can do it centrally, can he do it globally.
▶ 9:28 He’s going to come and judge the nations, and he’s going to come and cause war to cease. Wow. How many you know if that’s happened, it’s got to there’s got to be a God up in heaven. If there’s a time on earth where there’s no wars, there’s got to be a God up in heaven that predicted it and then fulfilled it. Now, John 12:47, of course, says, “If any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.” You see, so when they hear the gospel and they don’t believe in it, that means they don’t put their trust in it. Jesus said, “I don’t judge them. I come to save them. I’ll just keep preaching to them.” All right. Then he continues and says, “He that rejects me and receives not my words, the word will judge him in what day?” The last day.
▶ 10:33 Okay. So, is Jesus a judge? Absolutely. Does he have an appointed day to do this? Absolutely. All right. Acts 17:31. He has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness. Is there appointed time where Jesus will judge? Like Isaiah said, Yeah. Does it mean he has to be here on earth in that millennial reign? I submit to you, it doesn’t mean he has to be here in person to get this done. And I’ll show you why. 2 Chronicles 17:10, the fear of the Lord fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.
▶ 11:29 So did this happen in the past where God in a central area, not a global like Isaiah said, but in a central area without being in person on earth cause there to be no wars. Absolutely. He’s God. He can do things without coming and materializing and being here in person. He’s God. And what brought this no war? The fear of the Lord. Now there’s two types of the fear of the Lords. And most of us are familiar with the first type where we respect God. A moral respect for God where we hate sin and we flee from sin. Okay. But this fear of the Lord is totally different.
▶ 12:21 This fear of the Lord is really called the terror of the Lord. A tremendous feeling of fear. How many ever had a real tremendous feeling of fear? Being afraid? I mean, it change your metabolism. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. This is the kind of fear we’re talking about. Those nations were literally afraid to touch Judah because God did it. Yeah. So if he can do it centrally, can he do it globally? Amen. You see, we know there’s a set day for the judgment, and we know there’s a terror of the Lord that can get things done. All right. Genesis 35:5.
▶ 13:14 The terror of God, I just switched the word here from fear to terror, was upon the cities that were round about Jacob and his sons, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob. They did not make war. Why? Because God, without appearing in the earth, without sending an angel or anything, just sent the fear of God upon the people. And they didn’t mess around with Jacob and his sons. So again, if he can do it in a central location, can he do it globally as Isaiah said? Yeah. See, and this is a neglected message that most of these end time people are failing to teach.
▶ 14:10 All right. First Kings 4:25. Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, all the years of Solomon. Just like Micah said, all the years of Solomon, they had no war. Just like Micah said, there would be globally. God did this in a central location in King Solomon’s time. Now, we understand that. So, there’s a set day of judgment. The terror of the Lord is going to accomplish this and there’s going to be what? No war. And folks, that has not been fulfilled. So, how can Jesus come when this hasn’t been done? He’s going to show us the condition of God’s people in these last days.
Scripture in this part
John 12:47-48 (NKJV)
And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
— John 12:47-48 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:50Acts 17:31 (NKJV)
because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
— Acts 17:31 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:402 Chronicles 17:10 (NKJV)
And the fear of the LORD fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.
— 2 Chronicles 17:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 11:10Genesis 35:5 (NKJV)
And they journeyed, and the terror of God was upon the cities that were all around them, and they did not pursue the sons of Jacob.
— Genesis 35:5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:141 Kings 4:25 (NKJV)
And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
— 1 Kings 4:25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 14:10What is the plea and the condition of God’s people in Isaiah 2:5-6?
Short answer: He says Isaiah makes a plea to the house of Jacob, God’s people, to walk in the light of the Lord, but they were not going to be walking in it. He says God has forsaken his people because of Eastern religions, and that two presidents said all roads lead to the same God.
▶ 15:10 Okay, he’s still talking about the last days. First, the prophet makes a plea for the people of God. Oh, house of Jacob. House of Jacob has Judah in it, which is Zion’s in it, which is the church, God’s people. Oh, God’s people, come, let us what? Walk in the light of the word. You see, they weren’t He Isaiah was revealed by God that the people of God were not going to be walking in the light of the Lord. The word of God. Is that true?
▶ 16:00 In our day, many people believe, but they don’t walk. So, there’s a plea. And then he says, “God has forsaken his people because of these things.” Eastern religion, the Hindu, the Buddha, Confucianism, Shintoism, Islam, Eastern religions. They’re embracing Eastern religions. Our last two presidents, Bush and Obama, both said all roads lead to the same God, saying that all religions are going to heaven. When they don’t even believe in Jesus who is the only way to heaven and obeying the word.
▶ 16:57 Are you there? And I use them because they’re supposed to be the best of our nation. And both of them, one who was a conservative and the other one who was a liberal, said the same thing. And they both said that homosexuals are going to heaven. And I gave you videos of that. I showed you videos of that being done. But George Bush said that the word of God was not literally or truthfully the word of the Bible was a word of truth. He said that after he left office and that’s after he wrote a book to get our attention who are conservatives and religious people to vote him in. Then after he left office, he come out with the facts. Are you there? You can’t just be a blind conservative, a blind Republican, or a blind Democrat or whatever.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 2:5-6 (NKJV)
O house of Jacob, come and let us walk In the light of the LORD. For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with eastern ways; They are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they are pleased with the children of foreigners.
— Isaiah 2:5-6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:10What do sorcery, mixing with strangers, prosperity and idols mean in Isaiah 2:6-9?
Short answer: He says Wicca is considered an acceptable religion by our government, that mixing with strangers means mixing with those who don’t follow God, and that prosperity and greed are the idolatry of America. He reads Isaiah 2:9 as a statement not to forgive them when they are acting like this, but that God gives a solution.
▶ 17:53 You got to wake up to what? Truth. And so this is happening in our day. Sorcery. Wicca is considered an acceptable religion by our government in America. They have more freedom than us Christians who really follow the word of God. Mix with strangers. Okay? You know, we mix with those that don’t believe and don’t follow God. Like homosexuals are going to heaven. See, people that believe that homosexuality is not a sin are strangers to the word.
▶ 18:46 They’re aliens to the Bible. You understand that? That’s a fact. And many American Christians accept that. That’s just one illustration. We’re mixing with the heathen. We’re mixing our beliefs, our lifestyle with the heathen in this generation. Prosperity is America prosperous. Absolutely. Folks, the poor in America drive a car. They have a colored TV. They have a cell phone. That’s not poverty. Even the poor in America are prosperous. Idols, they worshiped idols.
▶ 19:38 The New Testament said that greed is idolatry. Is America greedy? Yeah. Yeah. The poor in America want welfare without work. And the rich in America want to make as much money as they can and not be taxed on it and whatever. See, we got the idolatry of greed in America. And anything that you put before God that you adore and put in front of God is an idol. Could be your children. No forgiveness. Isaiah says, “Don’t forgive them. Forgive them not.” In verse 9, don’t forgive them when they’re acting like this.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 2:6-9 (NKJV)
For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with eastern ways; They are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they are pleased with the children of foreigners. Their land is also full of silver and gold, And there is no end to their treasures; Their land is also full of horses, And there is no end to their chariots. Their land is also full of idols; They worship the work of their own hands, That which their own fingers have made. People bow down, And each man humbles himself; Therefore do not forgive them.
— Isaiah 2:6-9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:53What is the solution in Isaiah 2:10, "Enter into the rock"?
Short answer: He says the rock is Jesus and that God always gives a solution along with judgment, because his whole goal is to save the world. He says to hide in the dust means repenting and seeking God, and he gives the fear of the Lord as the reason to come to Jesus.
▶ 20:32 But like as always through the Bible, God gives a solution. Amen. And what is the solution? Enter into the rock. What is the rock? Jesus. Yes. Jesus is the rock. Come to Jesus, man. Come to Jesus. You can be forgiven when you shouldn’t be forgiven by coming to Jesus. And he always does this. I don’t care where you read in the Bible of this thick judgment. Right there at the same time. He gives a solution every time. Why? Cuz his whole goal is to save the world. So these people that are extreme on judgment, they need to also balance it with what?
▶ 21:26 A solution. Come to Jesus. Hide in the dust. Now, any idiot knows you can’t hide in the dust. I could have a bucket of dust here and I can pour it out and I’m not going to hide myself in the dust. So what is he saying? Well, like Job said, I repent in sackcloth and ashes, dust. Joshua, when they didn’t win a battle, they went in before the Lord and put dust on their heads. See what was that? Repenting, seeking God. You see, hide yourself by seeking God. Hide yourself from what? This kind of behavior, this kind of walk by repenting and coming to God.
▶ 22:18 Hallelujah. How many find that hiding yourself in the wings of the Savior is a daily thing? Yeah, we need repentance. All right. So he’s telling us to come to Jesus, repent, and he tells us why. For the fear, the terror of the Lord and for the glory of his majesty. All right? Adam in the garden when he messed up and he heard the voice of God walking, what happened? He was afraid. The fear of the Lord came upon him. Okay, we need to be afraid. We need that kind of fear, terror of the Lord. And I can give you a lot of illustrations. But the glory of his majesty is the glory is always the demonstration of his presence.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 2:10 (NKJV)
Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty.
— Isaiah 2:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:32What does "the glory of his majesty" mean?
Short answer: He says the glory is always the demonstration of his presence, like God coming on Mount Sinai in fire and a cloud, or a healing, and that it doesn’t have to be visible or audible. He says the fear of the Lord and the demonstration of the power of God should cause us to come to Jesus and repent, and walk better.
▶ 23:14 All right? Moses on Mount Sinai, God came and visibly and audibly made himself known through fire and a cloud. Isn’t that right? See, a demonstration of the power of God. And the fear of the Lord and the demonstration of the power of God will put fear into you. And we need to be praying for God to demonstrate his presence. Hallelujah. Yeah. Remember the man that was healed? God said this was for the glory of God. You see, healing, any kind of demonstration of the power, the presence of God is his glory being revealed in the earth.
▶ 24:16 Doesn’t have to be visible. Doesn’t have to be audible. It can be any way he demonstrates his presence. And so these two things which should cause us to come to Jesus and repent and give up this way of walking. How many will raise your hand and say God in America both me and America need to walk better? Yeah. Walk is your behavior. It’s your conduct. Now in that day, the day of the Lord of hosts. All right. Isaiah is going to be addressing in that day the day of the Lord of hosts. In verse 11 and 17, he says the same identical thing. All right. The proud will be brought low in the day of the Lord, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
Scripture in this part
John 9:3 (NKJV)
Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.
— John 9:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:40 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Who will be exalted in that day, and who is humbled first?
Short answer: He says Jesus Christ will be the only one exalted in that day, and that he is tired of men. He says the church is humbled first, because the time for judgment begins at the house of God, and that God must straighten his church out before judging others.
▶ 25:15 I submit to you that Jesus Christ is rarely exalted in America. We exalt Osteen, [unclear], Billy Graham, [unclear], Rick Warren. We exalt all these so-called and and in our day, you know, they I I showed the Bible study on Friday night, a videotape of how they introduced the ministers back in the 50s and it was, you know, here come he’s hiding in the back room back there until his e entrance came in and then they introduced him as the man of faith and power for the hour or Roberts or AA Allen or who they was. The focus was on the man instead of Jesus and we are still doing that. We’re looking to Joel Osteen to solve our problem.
▶ 26:09 Many people are and I’m not afraid to call them by name. Jake and the rest. They write books and they pass out tapes and people start looking to them for their answer. And Jesus Christ said there’s a day when he himself will the only one that will be exalted. And how many would raise your hand? I’m looking forward to that day. Yeah, I’m tired of men. I need Jesus. Verse 12, 11, 12, and 17. 11 and 17 say the same thing. 12 gives us the day of the Lord of hosts. Verse 13. We’re going to look at who’s humbled first. The church, the cedar tree and the oak tree shall be humbled.
▶ 27:04 We all know that the they that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of their God. They shall grow like the cedar of Lebanon. That’s God’s people. Does God’s people need to be humbled? Absolutely, folks. We need to be humbled. And that’s what you were doing this morning. When you kneel and when you wor when you do the things God says to do, that is an act of humbleness, humility before God. And God honors that. And if you want to move your community and your nation, start doing the things that yes, you don’t want to do. It’s humiliating, but God honors it in heaven and moves. Are you there? The oak trees in Isaiah, he says, with trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that he might be glorified.
▶ 28:00 So, he’s going to humble the church. And we just read the church was not in a great condition. They were walking in their own ways, not walking in God’s ways. 1 Peter 4:17, the time for judgment begins first at work. The house of God, you want God to judge the homosexual. You want God to judge the abortionists and the and the thiefs and the criminals and all the rest. God says, “First, I got to straighten my church out.” So you ask God like somebody did this week, man, I just pray God would, you know, wanted to smite some leaders in America and all the rest. And I go, honey, it doesn’t work that way. It was starts with you. You got to straighten your act up. The judgment begins where?
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 2:11-17 (NKJV)
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day of the LORD of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up— And it shall be brought low— Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan; Upon all the high mountains, And upon all the hills that are lifted up; Upon every high tower, And upon every fortified wall; Upon all the ships of Tarshish, And upon all the beautiful sloops. The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The LORD alone will be exalted in that day,
— Isaiah 2:11-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 25:30Psalm 92:12-13 (NKJV)
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
— Psalm 92:12-13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:04 (quoted; reference not named in the message)1 Peter 4:17 (NKJV)
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
— 1 Peter 4:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:00What else will God humble: religions, military, merchants and idols?
Short answer: He says the mountains and hills are religions, and that God will expose and humiliate them, and also the military, the towers and walls, and the merchants with their ships and cargo. He says God himself will destroy the idols, as with the idol that fell before the ark of God, and that the nations will run into the holes of the rocks.
▶ 28:54 At the house of God. And if with us first, he emphasizes it first. What will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Does the church in America need a good visitation to change their ways? Yes. Yeah. We got to recognize that if we want things to happen, we got to recognize that. Verse 14, the mountains and the hills, we learned last week, are religions. So he humbles the religion, the Buddha, the Hindu, the Islam, the atheist, and the humanist. In our generation, they need to be exposed and humiliated. Could that be an amen? We need to quit lying about to ourselves that Islam is a peaceful religion.
▶ 29:48 Good gods. If you read the news for the last 50 years, you should know better than that. And God says, “I’m going to move and I’m going to expose and humiliate and humble these people.” Why? Because he wants to bring them to him. Isn’t that right? Then the military, the towers and the walls, they’re going to be humbled. You know, we think that we are so powerful. Yeah. That Mexico couldn’t whip our butt. We are prideful. We are cocky. And God says, “I am going to humiliate the military forces.” And remember, when Israel crossed over the Red Sea, what did God do to the chariot wheels?
▶ 30:50 Took them off. See, God knows how to bring down a military power. You can’t fight against God. In other places, he had rocks and hail fall from heaven and destroy the army. How do you fight with all the technology? We got rocks and hail falling from heaven. And we all know several times he plagued armies and Assyrians lost 185,000 men in one night. God just lowered that army to nothing. Are you there, church? See, God can do this. You need to know that you serve a powerful God. And when he wants to in his time, he can humble even the military powers.
▶ 31:45 And yes, Mexico can defeat us when God says, “Mexico, get them.” Amen. And you can laugh at the Mexicans all you want to, but if God decides that’s going to happen, there is nothing we can do about it except repent and get God back on our side. He said he’d bring floods and destroy armies. Okay? And then the merchants, the ships, and the precious cargo. And we know he can bring famine and he can bring an economic turndown anytime he snaps his finger. Ain’t a thing our government can do about it. They can print all the money they want. But if God is determined to bring down the economic power of a nation, folks, it’s going to come down.
▶ 32:37 And he’s going to embarrass the Billy Gates and all these people who are rich atheist and promoting things they shouldn’t promote and so forth. Verse 18, idols abolished by God. Idols abolished by God. We have been preaching the gospel for hundreds of years and we haven’t gotten rid of idolatry in the world. But on this day and this intervention, God himself is going to destroy the idols. And he showed that back in the days of Israel when they put the ark of God in the house of Dagon. And the next morning that big idol of Dagon was what? Fallen on his face. So they had to go in and pick up their God. Some God, huh?
▶ 33:30 Set him back up on his pedestal. And the next morning, he was not only fallen over, but his head was cut off. Not broken, cut off. And his hands were cut off. Can God do that in this generation? Yes, we’re not doing the job of getting this stuff done. But in this day, God himself is going to embarrass the military, the merchants, and the idolatr. He’s going to do it himself. Amen. Amen. Isn’t that powerful? Yes. How will God do this? How will he humble the people and stop wars in that day? He’s already told us, but we’re going to look at it again.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 2:12-18 (NKJV)
For the day of the LORD of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up— And it shall be brought low— Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan; Upon all the high mountains, And upon all the hills that are lifted up; Upon every high tower, And upon every fortified wall; Upon all the ships of Tarshish, And upon all the beautiful sloops. The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The LORD alone will be exalted in that day, But the idols He shall utterly abolish.
— Isaiah 2:12-18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:541 Samuel 5:1-4 (NKJV)
Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon. And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left of it.
— 1 Samuel 5:1-4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 33:00 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How will God humble them in that day, according to Isaiah 2:19-22?
Short answer: He reads that people will go into the holes of the rocks and the caves of the earth for fear of the Lord, and toss their idols of silver and gold to the moles and bats. He says God will come with his terror and cause people to react in a way that humbles them, and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.
▶ 34:25 Verse 19 and 21 both says they will go into the holes of the rocks and the caves of the earth. They are the people, the nations he is judging, the proud of God’s people, the proud of religions, the pride of the military, the pride of the merchants. He is going to come to them and they are going to run into the holes in the caves. All right. Now verse 20 says in that day you see what day when he comes to humble. Now that day is used 43 times in Isaiah. So we’re going to be hearing a lot about that day as we study Isaiah. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver and gold and whatever and they made for each one to himself to worship.
▶ 35:21 It’s things they made. Don’t forget that the word they the things they created. They’re going to toss them to the moles and to the bats. That’s verse 20. Then in verse 21, he repeats this again. They shall go into the holes of the rocks and the caves of the earth for fear, for the terror of the Lord. So, how’s God going to do this? He’s going to come with his terror and cause people to react in a manner that’s going to humble them. Are you there? See, we haven’t done the job and we can’t do the job, but God can do the job.

Isaiah 2:19-21 (NKJV)
They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver And his idols of gold, Which they made, each for himself to worship, To the moles and bats, To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.
— Isaiah 2:19-21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 34:25What does Acts 5 show about the fear of the Lord?
Short answer: He says that when Peter confronted two people who lied about the money from their property and they fell dead, great fear came on the whole church and on everyone who heard of it, and outsiders would not say anything against the church. He says we can seek God to move locally without waiting for that global day.
▶ 36:16 The Lord alone will be exalted in that day. Acts 5:11. Great fear came upon all the church upon and upon as many as heard these things. None not of their number dared to join them but held them in a high regard. You remember this is the story of Ananias and Sapphira. Everybody was bringing their money to give to the house of God and so they sold a piece of property and they wanted to be recognized that this in this new movement. God knew that Jerusalem was going to be surrounded by armies and destroyed. And so he had the people just give up their excess properties and bring them to the house of God and get the word out and get it cuz the tomorrow that property wouldn’t be worth 5 cents anyway. And so these two people lied and say they gave all the money from the sale of the property when they didn’t.
▶ 37:14 And so they came in one by one. First the man and Peter said, “Did you sell it for this much?” “Yeah, I did.” Bam. He fell dead cuz he lied. His wife came in just a few hours later and he says, “Did you and your husband sell it for this amount?” “Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Hallelujah. We’re like the rest of them. We’re giving to the Lord.” Bam. She’s dead for lying. See, a demonstration of the presence and power of God caused the people to fear. Not only the church, but everybody that heard about it outside the church.
▶ 38:06 And outsiders would not say anything about the church. Wouldn’t that be nice in America? Is there respect for God’s church, real church in America? Absolutely not. They belittle us. They’re taking away our religious liberties and everything else. They mock us. They laugh at us. But let me tell you, when God decides to move, and remember, he’s going to do this globally, but we through seeking God can get it done locally. You understand that? We don’t have to wait for that day. We can, as as Paul said, one born out of due time by seeking God, you can get God to move. You can move God. Oh, if you guys only knew how you could move heaven by humbling yourself and doing what God said to do.
▶ 38:59 If you, and this is a church movement God’s interested in, not in a man of God or woman of God. It’s a corporate thing he’s interested in. You see, when you understand what God can do just because you decide to set aside time to come to church and then you dare to lift your hands and worship him or kneel down and pray and you do these things, you’re going to be shocked at what God can do through you and for the glory of his majesty. Now, what’s the glory? The demonstration of God’s presence. Okay? And that demonstration of God’s presence brings the fear of the Lord. Now listen to this. When when he arises to what?
Scripture in this part
Acts 5:1-13 (NKJV)
But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?” She said, “Yes, for so much.” Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things. And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.
— Acts 5:1-13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:16What does it mean that God "arises to shake the earth"?
Short answer: He says the fear and the glory of the Lord, the demonstration of his presence, is what God will shake the earth with, and that the promise is for Jesus to come in us, not just for us. He reads that the glory will be revealed in us and that he will be glorified in his saints.
▶ 39:56 Say it. Shake. Shake. How? Shake. Terribly. I mean, this is a shaken see terribly. And what’s he going to shake? The earth. The whole earth. Hallelujah. With the fear of the Lord and with the what? Glory of the Lord. The demonstration of his presence. And folks, that’s what we need and that’s what we need to be seeking for. The promise to come in us, not just for us. I want to remind you of that. There’s a difference. Everybody’s looking for this Jesus coming for us, but he also said he would come in us.
▶ 40:53 Romans 8:17, I reckon that the sufferings of this present time was not worthy to be compared with the what? Glory which shall be revealed in us. Hello church. But see, we’re looking so much for Jesus to come for us. There’s hardly any Christian in America looking for him to show forth his glory in us. And what’s the glory? Demonstration of the presence of his power. 2 Thessalonians 1:10. When he shall come to be glorified where?
▶ 41:47 In his saints. When and that day. Now, is there something spectacular going to be happening before Christ comes? Absolutely, folks. You can believe that nonsense that he’s coming any minute and he’s going to come in your lifetime and he’s going to come because the stars are lining up again and all that baloney. Those stars have been lining up ever so many years for thousands of years and he hadn’t come. But people who want to make money, they sell books and all that to get you who are too lazy to read your Bible to believe stuff and make them rich. Is this something that we should be looking forward to and believing for? Yes.

— 2 Thessalonians 1:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 41:47What does Isaiah 2:22, "Stop trusting in man," mean?
Short answer: He says to stop exalting ministers and start looking to Jesus alone, which takes time in prayer, worship and reading your Bible. He says the Lord alone shall be exalted, and that no minister, evangelist or pastor will be, as ministers are just delegated workers.
▶ 42:39 He arises to shake terrible of the earth. We’ll go into the shaking in a minute. All right. Then verse 22, he simply says, “Stop trusting in man. The Lord alone will be exalted in that day. Stop putting your trust in man. Stop exalting the Jake and all these ministers. Stop it and start looking to Jesus alone. And for you to do that, you’re going to have to put a little time into it in prayer and worship and so forth, reading your Bible. The Lord alone shall be exalted in this day. Who else is going to be exalted? No one.
▶ 43:34 No minister, no evangelist, no pastor. Who is the only one going to be exalted during this time? Jesus Christ. How many you know that’s the key? Amen. How many you know we’ve been wrong for years looking to ministers to solve our problems? They’re just delegated workers. That’s all they are. They ain’t nothing like they say they are. And Jesus is the man. Now shake and explained. All right. He’s going to shake terrible of the earth. Thank God for the book of Hebrews. That really explains this shaking. Hebrews 12:26, whose voice then shook the earth.

Isaiah 2:22 (NKJV)
Sever yourselves from such a man, Whose breath is in his nostrils; For of what account is he?
— Isaiah 2:22 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 42:39What does Hebrews 12:26-28 say about the shaking?
Short answer: He says Hebrews explains the shaking: the things that can be shaken are removed, the created things, so that what cannot be shaken remains. He says the kingdom that cannot be shaken is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, along with the gospel of the kingdom, the king and its citizens.
▶ 44:29 Talking about when God was on Mount Sinai spoke, his voice shook the earth. But now he has promised yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven. And why is he going to shake? Indicating the removal of things that can be shaken. He’s going to remove things that can be shaken. Ain’t that why you I don’t know, but we used to have an apple tree in our front yard and you could shake that limb and the apples that were mature and ripe would fall off. Yes. And in fact, if they were overripe and rotten, they would fall off and the young apples would be left on. And so you could shake it and you could pick up your apple and you could eat it.
▶ 45:22 All The right. Things that can be removed is what’s going to be removed. And the things that cannot be removed are going to remain. Does that sound like a good visitation of God? Yes. A divine intervention that we need. Then he tells us what things can be removed as of things that are what? Made. Created. Things that are created. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. That the things which cannot be shaken may what? Remain. So the created thing can be shaken and the noncreated thing will remain. Are you there? Yes. So what’s the created thing?
▶ 46:21 Verse 28. We are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken. What cannot be shaken? The kingdom. Okay. The kingdom is not meat nor drink but righteousness, peace and joy and the Holy Ghost. The kingdom is in power. See, the supernatural power of God cannot be shaken. Righteousness cannot be shaken. Peace cannot be shaken. Joy cannot be shaken. The gospel of the kingdom cannot be shaken. Is there a gospel of the kingdom? A word of the kingdom. Yeah. That word cannot be shaken. Is there a king of that kingdom? Yeah. Who is he? Yeah. Yeah. He can’t be shaken. Is there a citizenry of that kingdom?
Scripture in this part
Hebrews 12:26-28 (NKJV)
whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
— Hebrews 12:26-28 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:29Romans 14:17 (NKJV)
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
— Romans 14:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:21 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What man-made doctrines and behaviors does he say need to be shaken?
Short answer: He says things that mankind makes, such as the commandments of men and fables, turn people from the truth and need to be shaken, and gives examples such as idols and certain church practices, faith-only salvation, once saved always saved, predestination and dispensationalism. He says the Bible gives no right to your own faith, only his, and that Jesus alone should be exalted.
▶ 47:13 Yeah. They cannot be shaken. Isn’t that powerful? Folks, this is really good stuff. Okay, so things that are made can be shaken. Well, what are these things that are made? Things that mankind make, things that mankind create, they’re shaken. Matthew 7:7, “In vain they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of who?” Men, they created them. They made them. And they have to be shaken. And that’s what we need in America.
▶ 48:08 Titus 1:14, not giving heed to Jewish fables, myths, fairy tales. The Jews are God’s chosen people. That’s a lie. He’s chosen the poor of this earth, rich in faith, heirs of the kingdom. Are you there? Are you there? Oh, if I’m the bloodline of Judah, man, I got it made. He ain’t got nothing made. He’s made out of one blood all nations. And he wants to bring all nations to him. He has chosen all nations. Yes. Wow. And the commandments of men.
▶ 48:59 And what is the result of these men things created? They turn people from the truth. Who is the truth? Jesus. What is the truth? His word. And when we say this is what I believe, honey, it doesn’t matter what you believe. It’s what God said to believe is what you need to believe and put your trust in. Amen. And these things need to be shaken. And we need a good shaking in America. For instance, the Catholic Church, they got to own up to their problems. Idols, come on. Any kindergartener that goes and reads the Bible knows that idols are out. Can I hear an amen?
▶ 49:51 That needs to be shaken. Celibate, pedophile, homosexual priest. Come on. That’s just that’s got to be shaken. That just can’t be. Can I hear an amen? Nuns that have sex with the priest and abort the babies and all this stuff that have been happening for decades and hundreds of years. The Catholic Church needs to own up to it. They need to be shaken. Can I hear an amen? Yeah. Holy water, baby baptism, all lighting candles, and all this nonsense that takes us away from the real truth. It needs to be shaken. Isn’t that true? And you guys know I have no problem with the Catholic Church. They they need Jesus. I fellowship with them and all the rest. And I found genuine Christians in the Catholic Church because they decided to follow Christ and follow truth, not because they’re Catholic.
▶ 50:45 So, we’re not attacking the Catholic Church. We’re just saying the Catholic Church needs to own up to their man-made doctrines. Is that an amen? Us Protestants, we got a lot of them. You know, we think we’re the elite because we came out of Catholicism. But Protestants, as I said before, create these doctrines of faith for salvation only. And they got so many of people in America believing they’re going to heaven because of faith and no works involved. They just threw James right out of the book and other things that Jesus taught right out of the book. This doctrine of once saved, always saved, that needs to be shaken. That’s not true. Predestination needs to be shaken. Calvin [unclear] needs to be shaken. Dispensationalism is a man-made doctrine.
▶ 51:36 No medicine. The Pentecostals. And I’m a spiritfilled person, but I tell you, a lot of spiritfilled people give us a bad name. It’s it’s it’s sad. No medicine. You just believe God, the faith camp. And just in the last few months, a seven-month old baby and an eight-month old baby died because the parents believe God. You’re not supposed to take medicine. And the child died when the child could have lived. Folks, that doctor needs to be shaken. Amen. And just because you speak in tongues does not elevate you to a place where you can ignore the rest of the word of God. Can I hear an amen? I don’t care if you feel his presence and you speak in tongues and you can interpret him. You can’t preach this kind of doctrine. Handling of snakes is all Pentecostals.
▶ 52:29 And two people died just recently. A 28-year-old woman and a 40-year-old pastor from a snake bite. That is stupid. And we can’t I’ve preached to them till I’m blue in the face. It they’re just so set in their ways. How many know we need a divine intervention where God shakes them loose? See, this nonsense has to be shaken. This is man-made stuff that kills and brings destruction and keeps us from the truth. Intoxication and getting high on drugs, that’s got to be shaken, folks. Adultery and homosexuals are okay. They’re going to heaven. No, that’s got to be shaken. All of these claim my faith.
▶ 53:24 This is my faith. In the Bible, you don’t have a right to your faith. You only have a right to his faith. Can I hear an amen? See, my religion, they’ll say, my religion. Your religion. There is no your religion. There is no your faith in the Bible. It’s him and him only that should be exalted in our doctrines and in our lifestyle. Is that an amen? The liberal church who does not believe that Jesus was born of a virgin. That does not believe that there is a hell that a loving God would send anybody to. And a lot of other dumb doctrines of the liberal church.
▶ 54:17 And they brag about it. We’re liberal. They literally brag about it. That’s got to be shaken, folks. Is that an amen? That’s got to be shaken. Somewhere we’re not getting the job done. So somewhere we need Jesus to come and shake loose these things that are causing people to roam from the truth. These behaviors and these doctrines so that Jesus alone is what? Exalted. And we don’t have to wait for that global visitation. We can what? Seek him now and have him shake us and have him shake our community and free people from these man-made lifestyles, acceptable lifestyles and man-made doctrines. And Isaiah spoke about it thousands of years before our generation. And we are in that kind of generation.

What does he say the kingdom that cannot be shaken includes?
He says the kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, and that the supernatural power of God, the gospel of the kingdom, the king and the citizens of that kingdom cannot be shaken.
Scripture (NKJV)whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
— Hebrews 12:26-28 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:29

What does he say about "my faith" and "my religion"?
He says in the Bible you don’t have a right to your faith, only to his faith, and there is no "your religion," because it is him and him only who should be exalted in our doctrines and lifestyle.
About this transcript
This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added by hand, and obvious caption errors were corrected; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor note: he says “Matthew 7:7” for “In vain they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men,” which is Mark 7:7 (also Matthew 15:9). He says “Romans 8:17” for “the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us,” which is Romans 8:18. The captions garble several names and words, corrected where the Bible passage is clear (Dagon in 1 Samuel 5, Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5, Shintoism, Wicca, Mount Sinai, and “George Butch” read as Bush because he names Bush in the same passage); the date list “’50s … ’90s” is garbled and shown with [unclear]. Names of several other preachers are garbled in the captions (shown as [unclear] and not guessed), and the captions give “Jake” for a minister. He quotes 1 Samuel 5, Matthew 19, Psalm 92:13, Psalm 92, Romans 14:17 and 2 Kings 19 without naming the references. He names or alludes to many real people and groups: two presidents, businessman “Billy Gates,” Joel Osteen, Billy Graham, Rick Warren, other ministers, John Calvin (the captions garble the rest of his phrase), and the Catholic Church, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca, Pentecostals, homosexuals and the liberal church. He says Bush and Obama said all roads lead to the same God and that homosexuals go to heaven, makes accusations about Catholic priests and nuns, says Mexico could defeat the United States if God said so, says the Jews being God’s chosen people is “a lie,” and cites deaths of two babies and two snake handlers. These are his own statements and have not been checked here; they are kept as spoken. Other claims (that “that day” appears 43 times in Isaiah, that Assyrians lost 185,000 men in one night) are his own and unchecked. Select any time to jump to that moment on YouTube.
