▶ 0:00 Good morning and welcome thank you for joining us we’re going to read out of first Corinthians chapter 14. It says if all prophesy in verse 24 an unbeliever on uninformed person comes in he is convinced by all and is convicted by all and thus the secrets of his heart are revealed and so falling down on his face we will he will worship God and report that God is truly among you and it goes on to say more about prophesying I want to invite you this morning and we want to invite the spirit of prophecy this morning that is the education of the church the building up of the church the exhortation encouraging the church and the comfort that comes from the spirit of God it is important for us to come to service prepared with something to say that is edification exhortation and comfort to the body of Christ so I want to invite you this morning let’s worship God let’s lift up his name and during those times of worship if you have something to share something to uh edification exhortation and comfort please speak it out share it with us let the spirit of God move this morning let’s stand and worship him this morning.

She was a deplorable she was not anyone that the Jews would go to she was not even honored in her own people having had been married many times and living with a man you expose those things Jesus but you didn’t dwell on them you just revealed who you were to her you just wanted her to know you do you knew her life you knew her pain you knew everything about her and.

▶ 24:56 You want to reveal that to people people you want to show yourself as God to people. And that’s why we sang show your power Lord reveal your nature your compassion to people Lord you used her to go and reach the rest of that town Lord you have such great purpose for every human being that would come to you that would see that you are God. Lord and that’s our heart today. That’s our desire Jesus open our eyes open our hearts thank you father. Oh.

Jesus we come this morning God like Paul said he came with the demonstration of the power of God Jesus Lord we don’t want to depend on the intellect of men or men’s words and opinions God we want to meet the maker of all things the king of kings and Lord of lords Jesus we ask Lord Jesus said our church and the church and our country Lord Jesus would give back to the demonstration of power Lord the real touch and encounter with Christ Jesus.

▶ 27:28 They find your seats this morning. Last weekend we talked about the pattern of the tabernacle we learned about Moses’s tabernacle and how it was a shadow of heavenly things if you follow a shadow you will find the real thing that the shadow is pointing to if you stand up and you cast a shadow you follow that shadow to its source you’ll find the person or the thing that is casting that shadow and the tabernacle is a shadow as it says in Hebrews chapter 8 verse 5. The tabernacle served as the copy and shadow of heavenly things we learned that in the holy of holies the manna Aaron’s rod that budded and the tablets of stone are all examples of the heavenly thing which is the new covenant God wants to put his word in your heart and in your mind we are the ark of the covenant overlaid with gold we are valuable to God he puts his mercy on us just like the mercy seat he puts his life in us and we have the bread of life that manna from Jesus Christ.

▶ 28:36 Deuteronomy chapter 5 verse 29. This morning we’re going to talk about God’s other desire that he has for us for his people he said oh that they had such a heart in them that they would fear me and always keep all my commandments and so here we go again this statement is very similar to Ecclesiastes 12 13. It’s very similar to the greatest thing that we can all do as Jesus said or asked the lawyer and he said what is the greatest commandment to love the Lord your God with all your minds soul and heart to love God is to keep his commandments this is the duty of man it says in Ecclesiastes 12. And so through all throughout the scriptures God is calling his people to fear to respect to honor him and to keep his commandments and God’s solution to that is for us to have a what a heart a new heart a right heart David’s called it a clean heart.

▶ 29:48 And David whose heart was after God even later on in his life asked for a clean heart again it is a continual process of renewal in your heart and your mind. That it may be well with them and with their children forever how many you want it to be well with you I do and with your children I want my children to be blessed amen. So we’re going to look at the new covenant in Ezekiel 36 we’re going to look at Ezekiel 37 the valley of dry bones. Chapter 36 verse 24 he says I’m going to take you from among among the nations gather you it out of all the countries bring it to your own land and sprinkle clean water on you and you shall be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols the people of Israel were doing great sin they were filthy in sin deep in sin.

▶ 30:54 Just like us in America today we’re filthy we’re deep in sin. In Ezekiel chapter 37 we have the example of the new covenant we have the example of the filthiness it says it was full of what bones they caused me to pass by them all around this is Ezekiel’s talking here behold they were very many in the open valley indeed they were very very dry. And if you look out in America today we are deeper in sin that we have ever been. Ephesians 2 chapter 1 says you he made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins so we know when these bones are out there this is an example of being dead in sin.

▶ 31:50 Lazarus in the tomb was in a tomb he was dead it’s an example of sin death taking over your spirit. Oh in which he once walked according to the course of this world according the prince of the power of the air I want to remind you what it says in Proverbs chapter 14:34 righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people we want our country our families our society and our individual lives to get back to righteousness it will exalt it will help your individual life it will help your family life it will help the society when people are doing what is right to one another that helps society. I remember doing a car wash and uh.

▶ 32:43 Somebody said well what are you doing what is this for this is for a youth group what what are you going to spend the money on well we’re sharing we’re training up young people to act right and do right is that not a right cause. People look at that and they’re like oh it’s just a church and you know how come they’re not feeding somebody or doing something for the poor what about these guys that need to grow up and act right and do what’s right amen. That’s also a cause a powerful cause. Ezekiel chapter 37 1 the hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the spirit of the Lord and set me in the midst of the valley so this is the example of dry bones the hand of the Lord came upon me brought me out in the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke chapter 4 16 as was prophesied by mrs daigle earlier Jesus Christ had a heart for people he had a heart to reach the people and as his custom was he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath we should be assembling together.

▶ 33:56 To meet and go to church we should be assembling weekly it should be a weekly thing I encourage you if you’re not assembling get to the assembly. And stood up to read the spirit of the Lord is upon me. The spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor to heal a brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives recovery of sight to the blind said at liberty those who are oppressed and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord what was spoken during this that time that prophecy that came is true Jesus Christ has come to set people free he has come to open the eyes of the blind he has come to uh.

▶ 34:48 Help those who are bruised or oppressed when it’s talking about the poor it’s not just talking about those who are poor financially but also like it says on the sermon on the mount blessed are the what poor in spirit there are people that don’t know much about God at all they don’t know what Jesus has to offer them they are poor destitute in spirit they don’t know God they don’t know that he can satisfy them they live much of their life not understanding that God what God has in store for them they’re poor and God has come to reach them the captives those who are enslaved in sin those who are prisoners captives of Satan. You know you’re raised in a bad environment all you got is sin around you and it’s just so easy to just go right into it and it becomes uh addictions and and and you’re just imprisoned.

▶ 35:52 And God has come to set those people free. The blind those who can’t see leading others into the ditch you have people in academia and all of our intelligent people that are leading people down the wrong road because they’re rejecting Jesus Christ. They are rejecting his word Christ has come to open their eyes parents leading children astray parents are bad examples today many and God has come to turn parents around to open up their eyes. The approved oppressed the other word there is bruised the shattered. God has come to deliver people that have a broken shattered life.

▶ 36:48 And he says in Ezekiel 37:11 these bones are the whole house of Israel Jesus Christ he said himself in Matthew 15:24 I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel so we know this this example of the new covenant is consistent with Jesus’s message it’s the same now I also want to point out in Matthew chapter 15 24 Jesus what in this scripture he was speaking to a woman of Canaan who was not of the house of Israel. But she received a healing and life from Jesus Christ before it was time for the Gentiles to receive it see God broke his rule broke made an exception for this woman because she was seeking him she sought him pushed through would not accept no from Jesus Christ stayed until she got an answer and that’s what we can do in your life you don’t need to wait for God to move sovereignly throughout the world throughout our country or throughout our community he you can go to him and get revival get healing get a miracle get something that you need from God without having to wait you can get life from him.

▶ 38:18 And it goes to show that this woman who had a heart. To seek God was able to find God and get healing and restoration in her life. Jesus has come to heal Jesus has come to set at liberty the captives recovery of sight to the blind. And to preach the gospel to those who are poor in the spirit so the big question that comes in Ezekiel chapter 37 verse 3 he said to me son of man can these bones live. And his reply was you know.

▶ 39:12 I mean it’s kind of like a diplomatic answer right it’s not a yes or a no it’s a you know and he’s right you know but in Matthew chapter 19 we have a much more specific answer the disciples heard and they were greatly astonished saying who can be saved can these bones live and Christ responds and says with men this is impossible but with God all things are possible. And so even though you may be dead in trespasses and sin even though you may be very dry even though America things may look very bleak God can bring you everything back from the deepest darkest place. He can restore it whole.

▶ 40:05 Exceedingly great it says an exceedingly great army came back up can the church in America be restored can Christ restore the people of the nation of Israel back to himself can Christ restore the church willed worldwide can he bring unity of all denominations together that seems like it’s impossible right. Can you imagine baptists presbyterians catholics. Pentecostals sudden all of a we start accepting one another working with one another living for Christ with one another can you believe that that could happen Jesus is going to make it happen. But again you don’t have to wait for him to do it sovereignly we can get this ourselves you can get it now if you seek him if you have a heart for him.

▶ 41:02 Ezekiel chapter 37 verse 10 and exceedingly great army it says when the bones came together it was an exceedingly great army and so if you just think about it logically that group of bones was an army and they’re dead because why they were defeated. Have you experienced defeat in your life has a church that you know in America experience defeat are we defeated today. Matthew 26:31 all of you will be made to stumble because of me this night I will strike the shepherd Jesus Christ and the sheep of the flock will be scattered. Maybe we have gone through defeat. Maybe.

▶ 41:55 The enemy seems very strong but God can restore us from see that’s what God is saying here can these bones live can this defeated army come back victorious and the answer is yes. By the power of God yes. So Ezekiel. God comes to Ezekiel 37 verse 4 he says prophesy to these bones like we talked about at the beginning of this service prophecy. And exhortation ex edification and comfort to the church to these dry bones oh dry bones hear the word of the Lord. First Corinthians 14:24 I’m going to repeat myself if all prophesy and an unbeliever or uninformed person comes in he is convinced he is convicted and the secrets of his heart are revealed falling down on his face he will worship and report that God is truly among you that is what we want to happen we want the person who is dead and trespasses in sin and bones to come to life because they heard God’s word and they heard it through somebody who prophesied who brought something to say that was from God.

▶ 43:20 In working on this message I started to realize how important prophecy is. God uses it as a tool to bring people back from complete and utter destruction and death. It’s a powerful thing and we got to get it back we’ve got to get we’ve got to realize how important it is. Acts chapter 2 verse 17 it shall come to pass in the last days that I’ll pour out my spirit on all flesh your sons and your daughters shall prophesy what your daughters. Say that again. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy oh he’s just talking about little girls right your young men shall see visions and old men she’ll dream dreams and back to the men and on my men servants and my mate mate servants.

▶ 44:17 So the women working in the church the men working in the church the women of God the men of God I will pour out my spirit and they shall prophesy who’s going to prophesy they everyone. God’s gonna pour out his spirit on all flesh all flesh. And they shall prophesy. And when that prophecy comes. The person on the other end has a responsibility to what hear the word of the Lord and you see this is a prophecy in itself. You know if you want to prophesy some over somebody you start with God open up their ears. That they would hear the word of the Lord Matthew chapter 13 16 Jesus Christ himself blessed are your eyes for they see and your ears for they hear Matthew 13:43 he who has ears to hear let him hear what the spirit is saying to the church let him hear what God is saying to you you know when you prophesy it’s not about you it’s not because you’re great it’s because the God will use that principle.

▶ 45:38 Bring the words and when they are heard God will come with his spirit and make it powerful and important to that person who hears it and he will start to bring them back to life. Ezekiel chapter 36:27 this is the new covenant I will put my spirit within you Ezekiel 37 verse 5 this is the valley of dry bones I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live John 20:22 Jesus after he rose from the grave he said this when he had said this he breathed on them. The disciples were scared they were all gathered together and Jesus Christ was dead but he had just risen and he comes in the room and he breathed on him and said receive the Holy Spirit.

▶ 46:37 And so we see here the message is consistent Ezekiel 36 says I will put my spirit in you Ezekiel 37 says I’m going to breathe on these dry bones and he did it in the valley of dry bones and Jesus when he came and died on the cross rose from the grave came to his disciples and he breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit God will do the same for us. His message is consistent and it’s for us today Peter said you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and those who are afar off we are afar off. And it’s for us. Ezekiel 36 27 I will cause you to walk in my statutes and you will keep my judgments and do them. If you want to walk you’ve got to have some legs you got to have some function in your body you can’t just be a head bobbing around 37 verse 6 I will put sinews on you bring flesh upon you cover you with skin breathe on you you shall live and you shall know that I am the Lord so God says this is what I’m going to do in Ezekiel 36 and then he does it in the example of the.

▶ 47:55 Valley of dry bones. But this sinews this flesh this covering of skin is God building back the body of Christ making it whole again. If you look back in history at the times of the the body of Christ was fractured and God brought it back again you look at the body of Christ today is it fractured is it divided yes can God bring it back again yes he can bring it back again. He’s the miracle worker even with billions of people he can bring it back to life Matthew 16:18. He says to Peter you are Peter your name means rock but on this rock the cornerstone I am the cornerstone I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail Jesus Christ is not going to stop building his church.

▶ 49:05 Even if it has to start from ground zero. And we’re not at ground zero we got churches that are praising God seeking God but we definitely need some new life breathing us amen we definitely need some unity bringing us all back together a restoration of the body of Christ Ephesians 4:11 he gave some to be apostles prophets evangelists pastors teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of the men for the edifying building of the body of Christ God. Is equipping the church to be built back together to become one body. And he can do it he can restore it till we all come to the unity of the faith. We need more unity today.

▶ 50:00 We can agree on a few things a lot of denominations but we need to come to more unity amen we need to get united on right for our country we the worldwide church needs to get united on right for their nations can you imagine the uh it says here judgments. I’ll cause them to walk in statutes and they will keep my judgments and do them can you imagine the judges of the world looking at the church hey how did you guys handle that situation. I want to follow your standard. You know the church being united for right so much that we are looked to for judgment. For how to behave how to act how to walk wouldn’t that be a powerful thing to see.

▶ 50:56 And that would be powerful for our children and our lives. The unity of the faith the knowledge of the son of God to a perfect man to measure the full stature of Jesus and the fullness of Jesus Christ. No longer children tossed to and fro carried about with every wind of doctrine by the trickery of men and the cunning but speaking the truth in love. Ing God loving our neighbor. May grow up in all things. Into him who is the head Jesus Christ. John chapter 11 25. Jesus said to her I am the resurrection and the life he who believes in me though he may die he shall live you see Jesus Christ is the restorer that valley of dry bones can come back to life because Jesus Christ is what the resurrection and the life.

▶ 52:05 Though he may die be dead bones he shall live. John chapter 11:39 Jesus said take away the stone the new covenant says I will take away your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh that is tender that is responsive to his word his commandments. This is the promise and when you prophesy you see this is a great template for prophesying. And you come and you pray for somebody you lay hands on them and you profit outside of those dead dry bone person. Say God open up their ears God give them a new heart God take away from them that stubborn heart give him a heart that is responsive to Christ and his word Jesus come and put your spirit in them.

▶ 53:00 That’s what the prophecy is saying God come and do your work in this person’s life. He cried with a loud voice Lazarus come forth. Come forth. It is important for people to hear the prophecy. That their ears need to be opened. That God can give them a new heart that God can give them a new spirit that he will be our God and we will be his we don’t just become we don’t just take the lord’s name in vain say oh yes I’m no a Christian no no no no. No we are his we belong to him when you commit yourself you are cry you are following him not just taking on his name.

▶ 54:01 At Ezekiel chapter 18:31. Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed and get yourselves a new heart a new spirit so the solution here that God has for us. Is a new heart. If we he wants us to fear him keep his commandments follow him wholeheartedly we need a new heart and like David he asked for it later in his life we need to keep asking for a new heart for the next thing God wants to do for the next area he wants to change in your life for the next area that he wants to change in somebody else’s life God give me a new heart that is responsive to your will. Can these bones live. The dry bones were given life Lazarus was called out of the tomb can these bones live yes with man this is impossible with God all things are possible you may have been defeated before you may have lost the battle but God can bring it all back and restore you a mighty man and woman of God.

▶ 55:15 Are we willing to prophesy and hear the word of the Lord. Solution here you know God could have done it himself he didn’t need Ezekiel do you think God needs Ezekiel does he think God needs us no he can just do it but he said to Ezekiel you prophesy you speak and so that’s our responsibility God is putting on us we’ve got to submit we’ve got to bring so we’ve got to prepare something we’ve got to say the words. Of God. Will we continue to grow into the full stature of Jesus Christ I remember praying for people back when I was younger in a teenager in church. And they would say to me later felt like you knew what was going on in my life no it’s just when you pray God uses that the spirit will use whatever you’re saying to connect with their heart and start bringing them back to life it affects people and we can do that.

▶ 56:34 This morning we’re going to take a few minutes. We’re going to pray for ourselves that we would be given a new heart we’re going to pray and lay hands on one another. That God would give us a new heart that we put ours his spirit in us. And then we’re going to pray for the church and for America. That God. Will give us the prophecy to bring the church and America back to life. So during this time we’re going to pray this uh. We’re just going to stand right where we’re at. And we’re going to start with prayer.

▶ 57:26 And it’s going to start with us. And I invite you this morning if you have a prophecy please speak it out but first we’re going to pray and ask God to come. And give us a new heart a new spirit in us let’s lift up our voices together Jesus we come before you this morning God Lord we lift up our voices God we understand in your scriptures Jesus God that we need to hear your word Jesus like Ezekiel prophesied to the dry bones we gotta hear what you want us to do God Lord your scriptures say that you’ll give us a new heart you’ll give us a new spirit God we ask Lord right now we submit Lord Jesus we submit we ask to take our heart a stone our stubborn heart Lord give us a new heart Jesus we understand that this new covenant is so powerful God that it can raise back to life even what was dead God it can raise back to life a mighty army a mighty people Lord Jesus that will fight the battle for you Jesus God we pray and we ask Lord this morning God that you come to us individually God give us a new heart give us a new spirit Lord let us be restored back to the strong strong Christians God Lord that stand up for truth Lord that speak Lord God that are equipped for every battle that is coming

▶ 58:56 our way Jesus Jesus please we want to come to the measure of the full stature of Jesus Christ God we want to grow into your likeness into your image Jesus Jesus please God we call on you this morning come God come in our lives come to us individually come Lord God with your spirit come with your mighty power God Jesus Jesus come Lord we need you this morning we need you God we need your spirit to come we need your hand upon us God Lord it said you said that the spirit of the Lord has come upon you Lord the spirit of the Lord has come upon you to heal the spirit of Lord has come upon you to set us free the spirit of the Lord has come upon you God the Lord to to restore us God Jesus Jesus the spirit of the Lord has come upon you the Lord Jesus to do that great and mighty work throughout the world and throughout the throughout our country God in in our community in our city God Lord the spirit of the Lord is upon you God Jesus come with your spirit come o God Jesus we submit to you this morning God please Lord by your mighty power God we call on you this morning we need you Jesus Jesus please right now let’s just turn to our neighbor and we’re going to lay hands on one another and we’re going to prophesy on one another and we’re going to ask that God would open up our ears we’re going to

▶ 1:00:26 ask that God would come and give us a new heart we’re going to ask that God would come and put a new spirit in us we’re going to pray for one another right now let’s lay hands on one another Jesus Jesus Lord we calling you this morning you young people come up here come up here because come up yeah let’s come forward come out of your seats we need to lay hands on one we got to pray for one another we want a real thing to happen we want God to do his mighty work. Let’s pray let’s lift up our voices Jesus Jesus Lord we come before you God Lord it’s not by my nor by power by your spirit says the Lord Jesus Jesus please Lord we promise high Lord on one another God and we pray Lord you open up our ears God we pray Lord Jesus that we would no longer will close our and stop our ears against you Jesus the Lord that we would be sensitive to hearing your word Lord to hearing your will Jesus just like you were sensitive to hearing the father’s will Jesus Jesus we call on you this morning God come to us this morning God I pray for my neighbor God I’m praying for my neighbor I gotta ask the Lord that you touch Lord that you move upon them Jesus come Lord give them a new heart create in us a new heart oh God Lord come and put your spirit in us Jesus Jesus Jesus please Lord you can make out of us a great and mighty army God it is Lord you can say by
