Last Day to Live Part 1: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
On his last day Belshazzar mocked God’s holy vessels; the queen remembered Daniel. The last-day church needs God’s wisdom, given liberally without fault-finding. People want miracles rather than wisdom, but anyone can be reached.
What is this session?
Short answer: Your last day on earth—Belshazzar; JFK was a great speaker, but could he go to hell?
▶ 0:00 Chapter five. The topic of this session is your last day on Earth. Your last day to live before standing before Jesus Christ and his judgment. We have a tremendous illustration here what’s going to take place at the last day judgment. And we’re going to see a man that has one day left to live. One day, less than one day. He’s got a few hours to live. And then he is going to stand before the judgment. Hebrews 9:27 says, “It’s appointed unto men once to die and after that the judgment.” I’m going to give you a couple of famous men that you know. All right. The Bible says, “Man looks [clears throat] on the outward.” Men will praise you for all your accomplishments.
▶ 0:57 We have John F. Kennedy. He was a great speaker. He was a university graduate, a smart man, intelligent man. He was a war hero. He did a lot of good. He made some good speeches. “Don’t ask what your nation can do for you, but what you can do for your nation.” Powerful statement. He stood up to Russia when Russia was bringing missiles into Cuba. And they [clears throat] had them in firing order. They waited too late and the Russians actually had the missiles equipped to work. And they could have reached the major cities on the eastern coast of America. And Kennedy stood up against them, put a barricade around Cuba. And I remember, man, I was for my I didn’t care if he’s a Democrat. I didn’t care if he’s a Catholic.
▶ 1:49 He was the first Catholic to be elected pres- This guy stood up for something that was right. And this boy, who was about 20 years old at the time was ready to join the military if these guys are going to mess around with us. And so he’s famous. We have another man, Martin Luther King, did a tremendous job of leading the civil rights movement to get rid of this separate but equal foolish Supreme Court decision that hung around for decades, uh like 80 years. 80 years of nonsense because the Supreme Court said it was constitutional. The Supreme Court, folks, isn’t always right.
▶ 2:41 And your latest Supreme Court member is a homosexual. A female homosexual. They’re electing anybody to the Supreme Court. They’ve made many mistakes in days past. This guy led that civil rights movement, put his life on the line. He was another great speaker. I [clears have a dream. Throat]. And one of his famous statements is that man won’t be looked upon by what earth color of skin he has, but his character. Powerful statement. But both of these men flagrantly and continuously committed adultery, sexual immorality. Both of them. And I cannot find any John F.
▶ 3:34 Kennedy lover that will a Catholic person that will say he could possibly go to hell because of look what he did. I cannot find one black person that will say it was possible for Martin Luther King to go to hell for his adultery. He died. Both of these men, those pictures were taken, they had about 1 minute to live. They had 60 seconds to live. Those pictures were taken 60 seconds and both of them were committing adultery. In fact, John F. Kennedy had a hookup in the city. Had a woman flown down for his use at the time of his assassination. Now, let me ask you this. Do you want to go into eternity facing Jesus Christ with that on your record? The church world thinks this thing is a joke.
▶ 4:33 And they can’t possibly think, “How can Luther and and John F. Kennedy go to hell when look at what they did?” You’re not the judge. The Bible says, “Thou shalt not commit sexual immorality.” It’s one of the 10 Commandments. It is a hell sin. They both were married. They both had children. And they’re living that kind of permissive lives. And the American Christian on a high percentage are so ignorant of God’s word and so unlearned in their mind, they just can’t fathom that somebody like this could face Jesus and be sentenced to hell. Now, do we have your attention? Let’s look at this man.
▶ 5:25 This man in chapter 5 has less than 1 day to live. He has a few hours. All right? Belshazzar, king of Babylon. Chapter 5, verse 1. He makes an alcoholic party. He throws a party with alcohol to get high and get drunk in. Okay? He calls in 1,000 of his leaders. If you know history and you read history, it wasn’t just leaders, the whole city was having a festival, a celebration, uh uh a holiday, and they were worshipping their gods and you know, getting drunk and doing what pagans do. He brought the gold and silver vessels from the house of God. Years before, Nebuchadnezzar brought the vessels from God’s house to Babylon.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 5:1 (NKJV)
Belshazzar the king made a great feast for a thousand of his lords, and drank wine in the presence of the thousand.
— Daniel 5:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:00What did Belshazzar do?
Short answer: Mocked the holy vessels from the temple; the queen heard and remembered Daniel.
▶ 6:16 He brought them out of storage and he starts using mocking, disrespecting the very house of God and its vessels and its programs and the things God used. They [clears drank and they praised throat] the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood, and stone. See, they had gods made of wood, gods made of stone, gods made of gold. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Which can’t see, hear, or do anything else. Then all of a sudden, on the wall there is part of a man’s hand, not attached to any man. Just part of a hand. Just fingers are shown. And he’s writing on the wall of the palace where they were having their leadership celebration and getting drunk.
▶ 7:12 Verse 6 and 9. When the king saw the hand, his countenance was changed. His outward appearance was changed. Oh, man. All of a sudden from merriment to a totally different look on his face and in his whole body. The joints, he was troubled in his mind, perplexed, amazed. So that the joints of his loins were loosed and his knees smoked together. This guy is afraid. He is scared. He is peeing his pants. That’s what most people do when they get suddenly approached by something fearful. They wet their pants. This guy is afraid.
▶ 8:09 The astrologers, the Chaldeans, the soothsayers, the king’s counselors could not interpret the writing. They’ve been worthless this whole book. And they’re still worthless and they still have a job. I don’t get it. See, the Chaldeans were supposed to be the wise people, the intellectuals. The soothsayers, you know, they used uh spells and demons and spirits and talked to the dead to get counsel. Okay, that’s the occult world. The astrologers, they use the stars. Wherever the stars are lining up, they’re speaking to us and we can tell you what’s going to happen to you today by how the stars are. It’s a bunch of baloney. Nonsense. And these things are still with us today. And people still respect them and there’s no respect there. The queen comes in.
▶ 9:02 She heard about it. She wasn’t in the banquet at the time, but she heard that her husband’s countenance has changed. His knees were knocking together. He wet his pants. He’s scared to death. She comes in to it and says, “Listen, King. Listen, hubby. There’s a guy in the kingdom that can do this. He can interpret this. You don’t have to let your countenance be changed. You don’t have to be troubled. You don’t have to be afraid. This guy can interpret the dream. [clears. And she tells throat] him the spirit of the holy gods is in him. And that’s nice. See, she knows that the spirit of God is in him. Where is the spirit of God today?
▶ 9:54 In us. We’re the temple of the spirit of God. God lives in us. You see. In the days of Nebuchadnezzar, light, understanding, and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods was found in him. He had wisdom from above. He has wisdom from God. Nebuchadnezzar made Daniel master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers. He made him the leader of these employed so-called counselors that never can counsel anything outside of something simple. She says an excellent spirit was in him. Excellent means superior. And remember wisdom is a superior way of speaking, a superior way of thinking, and a superior way of behaving.
▶ 10:51 That’s what wisdom is. And Daniel had the wisdom. And he had a superior spirit because he let his spirit be molded by what? The spirit of God that was in him. Are you letting your spirit See, every one of us has a spirit in us. Then the Holy Spirit, Jesus comes and lives in us, and he wants to shape our spirit like his spirit, and make it an excellent spirit. So, when our flesh wants to do one thing, our spirit says, “No, we’re going to do what’s right. We’re going to do another. We’re going to respond excellently.” You get it? Uh knowledge, understanding, and the interpretation of dreams, and showing of hard sentences, difficult questions, and dissolving of doubts were found in the same Daniel.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 5:2-4 (NKJV)
While he tasted the wine, Belshazzar gave the command to bring the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple which had been in Jerusalem, that the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines might drink from them. Then they brought the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple of the house of God which had been in Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone.
— Daniel 5:2-4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:16Daniel 5:10-12 (NKJV)
The queen, because of the words of the king and his lords, came to the banquet hall. The queen spoke, saying, “O king, live forever! Do not let your thoughts trouble you, nor let your countenance change. There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father—your father the king—made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers. Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.”
— Daniel 5:10-12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:02What does the last-day church need?
Short answer: Wisdom—God gives liberally without finding fault; drop racial and national traditions for the kingdom.
▶ 11:46 And I submit to you, this is another example of the last day church. Solomon is with the wisdom. All the nations came to hear his wisdom. And Daniel was the source of solutions for the kingdom of Babylon and anyone that would listen. And if this king would have read the scriptures, he would know how to respond, as we will see later. All right. The last day church, how many of believe instead of getting raptured up, we need to get wised up? We are so focused on the rapture, we’re not focused on the fact that God can touch his church in these last days and make them a wise and understanding people that will be able to give answers to difficult questions in the world, and the nations will come to the wisdom that the church has.
▶ 12:41 When we’re living like they’re living and speaking like they’re speaking, what do what do they want out of us? They already got that. But when you got answers, and you got a behavior pattern to back it up, they’re going to inquire of the hope that’s within you. And I submit to you, somewhere the church is going to wake up to the fact that we’re not looking for the rapture, we’re looking for a visitation in the last day church, a glorious church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, a church that the gates of hell cannot prevail against. That’s Jesus’ promises, that’s Jesus’ prophecy, and everyone every bit of the scriptures will be fulfilled. And I submit to you, we’re going out with a bang. Hallelujah. And you know why he wants to bless the church? Cuz he wants to save the nations.
▶ 13:34 He still loves these sinners out there. And he’s chosen to use us. Now, we must remind ourselves of our abilities that were promised and given by God. Luke [clears 21:15, “I throat] will give you a mouth and wisdom.” I’m going to give you a way to speak and I’m going to give you a source of wisdom to speak it. I’m going to give you the ability of wisdom to talk. Which all your adversaries will not be able to argue with nor resist. They’re not going to win any argument with you. Now, folks, that’s a powerful promise. And this is in the last day chapter. And I don’t understand why these prophets can’t get this out of the last day chapter when it’s right there.
▶ 14:30 They just want us escaping with a with a precious folks that, you know, because we believe in Jesus, he’s going to take us out and he’s going to beat everybody else up. And yet we see here that in the last days there’s going to be a people that God when we’re attacked, when with the little voices come against us, he will give us a mouth and wisdom to speak that they cannot argue with or resist or conquer. Amen. Now, that’s a powerful promise, folks. Powerful. You say, “Man, me? Have you looked at me lately?” Listen, I don’t look at you. I look at the Jesus in you and the potential that you can be because he can’t lie and he will do what he said he would do. Hallelujah. I’m just as worthless as you are, but we got to look higher than our self.
▶ 15:23 Can I hear an amen? We got to look to a Jesus that can do things out of foolish vessels. James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God.” How do you get wisdom then? Asking. A majority of our prayer should be asking for wisdom because wisdom, the Bible says, is the first principle, the highest thing along with love. And most of ours is, “Lord, just keep my kids safe and let me help me to keep a job.” And and that’s peripheral stuff that he’s going to give you anyway if you seek the high stuff. But if you don’t seek the high stuff, you don’t get the high stuff. Let him ask of God that gives to all men.
▶ 16:17 How many men? All men. And how much? Liberally, more than you can handle. Well, you know, I was a drug addict and all that. My mind, listen, this promise is to all men. Well, I was raised this way. And I don’t care how you were raised. I don’t care if you’ve been a drug addict, a prostitute, an alcoholic. I don’t care what your past is. Jesus takes care of the past and he starts building your future. And one of the principles of the new covenant is he will give us a new mind. That’s his promise to you. Yes, you destroyed your mind, but he will give you a new mind. A new way of thinking. Hallelujah. That he gives to God all men liberally and upbraids not.
▶ 17:10 What that means is he doesn’t find fault with you while he’s giving you wisdom. And that is important. Now, listen to me. Because we got flaws and this is how we limit ourselves to what we can do in God and God can do through us. We see our failures. But God says, “I’m going to give you wisdom liberally without finding fault with you. I’ll be working on your faults while I am working on giving you wisdom.” Wow! Yes, that’s worth a clap offering. That’s a high PROMISE OF GOD. HALLELUJAH. AND SEE, Daniel is is reminding us back there of God’s promise to us when Jesus came and built his church. All men. Then he tells us what the wisdom is.
▶ 18:02 James 3:17. The wisdom that is from above. Remember, Daniel had the heavenly wisdom back there. What is it? Well, the wisdom that from above is first pure. It lives by Bible morality. It lives by Bible standards. Okay? And when it fails, it repents, gets up, admits it’s wrong, and keeps living by Bible standards. It is peaceable. What’s peaceable? No harm. No conflicts. We’re not out to harm anybody. We’re out to build lives. We’re not out to war with anybody. We’re out to war with the principalities and powers of darkness that are keeping people ignorant and blind and under the bondage of Satan. See, that’s the wisdom from above. See, we may be against homosexuality, but we’re not out to go around hanging homosexuals.
▶ 19:00 We can’t save them if we hang them. And besides that, we got to hang everybody that commits adultery because it’s all the same sin. And next thing you know, got no harvest field. But, disciplinary action, a fine, something that they pay the price to wake them up is what used to be in America. And that’s what we want to get back to. Now, the wisdom from above is gentle. What that means is they’re fair, they’re equitable. They treat all everybody the same. What’s good for the rich is good for the poor. What’s good for the woman is good for the man. What’s good for the black is good for the white. There’s no black Bible and white Bible and brown Bible and Asian Bible. There’s one Bible. There is one God. There is one tradition in the Christian world.
▶ 19:57 We got to get rid of all of our racial, national traditions and embrace the kingdom’s traditions. Can I hear an amen? Easy to yield. It’s easy to submit. And folks, we can’t work together unless we got this wisdom to submit to one another. We may not like how they’re doing it, but wisdom goes with the flow so the end result is achieved. Did you hear that? This is powerful stuff. And Daniel had it. And all of us can have this. Full of mercy, compassion. Mainly, it’s talking about compassion for the errors of people, their sin.
▶ 20:51 It’s not [clears really talking about, throat] you know, the hungry, being so compassionate you feed them and clothe them. It is really talking about those that are poor in spirit. You have a compassion to give them the spiritual food, the spiritual clothing, the spiritual knowledge that they need to be healthy spiritually. And with it comes a compassion for those who are in trouble. But we have reversed it in America. Hallelujah. Totally reversed it. Now, without partiality. Partiality is being unfair in judgement for one person or an action over another. You’re partial. This judge who turned over Proposition 8 was a homosexual judge.
▶ 21:43 The voters in California voted it in, he turned it down. Was that a partial judgement? Absolutely. He should never have been able to even hear the case because he was a homosexual. And see, we can’t be partial. Back in the 70s the fundamentalists and a lot of groups were saying that homosexuals couldn’t be saved because they had a reprobate mind. I read that Bible and that is not what it says. What it said was they can be saved just like all the other sins listed below it. There’s about 30 sins listed below it. And it’s all from an undisciplined mind. And that my spirit said by golly, if the adulterer and the alcoholic and the drug addict can be saved, the homosexuals can be saved.
Scripture in this part
James 1:5 (NKJV)
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
— James 1:5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:10Who can be reached?
Short answer: He has led over 50 homosexuals to Christ; people want miracles, not wisdom.
▶ 22:43 And I have led personally one-on-one over 50 homosexuals to Jesus Christ. And over 30% of them are still serving Christ today. And they said they can’t change, they were born that way. That’s a lie. You believe lies. That Jesus is a powerful guy and his word is powerful. And see, I may be against homosexuality. I may be against sexual immorality, but I’m still for the sinner. Why? Because the wisdom from above will not allow me to be partial. Hallelujah. Aren’t you glad of that? How many know the American church needs some wisdom from above? And without hypocrisy. You should know what hypocrisy is by now.
▶ 23:35 It’s I’ve hit it for years. Saying one thing and doing another. Hypocrisy. Okay? Psalms 119, verse 98. You through your commandments made me wiser than my enemies and my teachers. Keep therefore and do these commandments, for this is your wisdom and understanding in the sight of the nations. See you keeping the word, not just hearing the word, not just learning the word, it’s you keeping the word that the nations out there will see. And this is the response when they see you keeping the word of God. Their response it is, they will say, “Surely this is a great nation. It is a wise and understanding people.” Why? Because you believe the word of God or because you live the word of God?
▶ 24:32 So many of us Christians pray that God would save the nations and our family members that are in sin, but we don’t listen to God in that prayer to get up and live for him so that they see and they come and say, “What is the hope that is within you?” See, obeying is way above believing. Can I hear an amen? And this is what the nations are crying out for. They’re crying out for the church in our generation that will show them the word of God in their lives, in their speech, in their mentality. I mean 1 Samuel 18:5, David behaved himself wisely. God was with him, and because he behaved himself wisely, the people accepted him. All the people. How many? All.
▶ 25:23 Were there atheists in that nation? Yes. Were there sinners in that nation? Were there idolaters in that nation? Yes. Were there Gentiles, pagans in that nation? And how many of them accepted him because he behaved wisely? All of them. And this is what God wants to do in the last day church. And his name was much set by. When David’s name was talked about, it was talked about with high esteem. How is your name talked about? Daniel is brought before Belshazzar because of what he heard. After his wife told him about it, he remembered. And so after he heard about Daniel.
▶ 26:16 And he says in verse 14, “I have heard of you.” Okay, there’s a lot of people that have heard about Jesus. A lot of people that have heard about the scriptures. That the spirit of God’s in you. Light and understanding, interpretation, dissolving of doubts, and excellent wisdom is found in you. And he repeats, “These counselors of mine, the wise men, astrologers, the sorcerers, and all these, they can’t interpret spiritual things. They are worthless when it comes to spiritual things.” If you can read the writing, you will be the third ruler in the kingdom. The problem here is this. He wants to reward. You know people with money think they can just buy anything. So, he’s trying to buy Daniel off and buy and Daniel rejected him with your rewards, but I’m going to tell you some stuff here.
▶ 27:14 I don’t want anything from you. Wouldn’t that be nice if TV and radio evangelists were like that? I don’t know why I need to pay for something that I can get on my knees and read from the source, Paul, Peter, John, Jesus. Hallelujah. Freely give, freely receive. And we need teachers, don’t get me wrong. To confirm. Okay, instead of wanting Daniel’s God that Daniel had, instead of wanting the wisdom from above that Daniel had, he just wants to understand the writing. Let me see a miracle. Let me see you do something supernatural here. The Pentecostal charismatic world is so like that. A miracle a day keeps depression away.
▶ 28:11 They don’t want wisdom. They They just want a miracle. I’m a Pentecostal, you know, I’m I’m not a Pentecostal. I was saved in Pentecostal church. I was filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues. It is real. It is a genuine experience in God. But folks, let me tell you, it is not the top priority of God. The Holy Spirit leads you into all truth. And part of the Holy Spirit is the spirit of wisdom. The spirit of understanding, the spirit of counsel, the spirit of the fear of the Lord, the spirit of might and strength. And a lot of these people that talk in tongues have no strength. They buckle at the least little thing. Are you with me? And I would say, “How can you fall apart and you speak in tongues and you’re supposed to have the power of the Holy Ghost and you’re falling apart because your husband left you or your wife left you, your kid rebelled and ran away and you’re falling apart?” Are you with me?
▶ 29:14 There’s more to the Holy Ghost than tongues and that emotional feeling that you get. And I love it. Don’t get me wrong. I love it. I love that feeling. It’s beautiful. Over in the New Testament, we have the same thing. Herod, the governor, the leader, heard the reports about Jesus. He heard. In Matthew 14:9, same chapter, the king was distressed and sorry. Because of his oaths and his guest, he ordered John’s head to be given her he had. Had [clears a little gathering throat] and he had Salome, his stepdaughter, to dance and then he promised her, you know, anything she wanted, even to the third of the kingdom.
▶ 30:09 Or half the kingdom. That means she would have been queen instead of her mother. I don’t know if half of you caught that. I don’t know if you caught that when you went through. He was He already disposed of his first wife to marry Herodias, his second wife, who had this child by his brother, Salome. Now he’s ready to get rid of the next wife and make this one queen. All right? Now he had heard of Jesus. He had heard through the preaching, he had heard through the rumblings of the great vine about this Jesus. And he didn’t want to hurt John the Baptist, but because of the crowd pressure. And oaths to a word that he should never even spoken. I got to keep my word. I got to keep That’s out of flimsy excuse. We’re never required to keep stupid oaths, stupid vows.
▶ 31:05 Amen? But because of the pressure from the people, and a lot of us in America are like that. The pressure on us to conform, the pressure on us to follow the crowd is so strong that we cut off the heads of the mouths of the preachers that are preaching the living word of God. Not literally today, but through rejecting them and putting them down. We cut them off. See, hearing about Jesus isn’t it. It’s part of it. Now, there’s other examples about people hearing about Jesus. The woman with the issue of blood heard about Jesus and came to him and touched him and got healed. And knew in her spirit she was touched by God. Virtue went out of Jesus.
▶ 31:56 This woman here had a demon-possessed daughter. And she came to Jesus. She was the Syrophoenician. She was a foreign woman that the gospel wasn’t supposed to be preached to at this time. And she came to Jesus because she heard of Jesus all the way from Syrophoenicia, all the way from the coast of the Mediterranean down to see this man Jesus. She took That took days to get there. She took time to come to Jesus. And she, like the woman with the issue of blood, got down on her knees, humbled herself, and one touched his garment, the other said, “Lord, have mercy.” You see, we don’t have to be like Herod. We can hear of Jesus and come to him and let him change our life.
▶ 32:50 Both these women went back with lives changed. The second one went back with her child’s life changed. Aren’t you glad God has power to change your child? Hallelujah. I am. Because there’s so much a daddy can do. If you think Dobson’s teaching on the family is the total answer, let me tell you, you’re going to need the power of God for your kids. You’re going to need a relationship with You need need Jesus working on your behalf in your children. Can I hear an amen on that? We can’t reduce this thing down to just a bunch of rules and regulations and psychology. We need Jesus working on our behalf. Now, now here, this is very important. If you’re going to take notes, take note of this.
What should be underlined?
Short answer: A key verse—he recalls his goals as a young man; liberals and humanists pride themselves on reason.
▶ 33:42 Very important. You should have this verse underlined in your Bible years ago. Okay? [clears. God gave assurance unto throat] all men that in raising Jesus from the dead when they heard of the resurrection of the dead. See, they heard. They what? Heard. Now, this is the three normal responses you’re going to get when [clears throat] you preach the gospel to people that are hearing it or when you hear it. These are going to be the three responses every time. Number one, some mocked. Yeah, resurrection. Yeah, Jesus. Yeah, right. Born of a virgin, right. Yeah, sure. That really makes sense. Doing miracles and walking on water. Oh, sure. Oh, man. You got to be kidding me. And we’re going to live after we die. That is a joke.
▶ 34:34 They mock. They ridicule. They disrespect and they talk. They’re those little horns that talk. Disrespectable to God and about God and his word. Hallelujah. These are your evolutionists, your homosexuals. These are your atheists, your humanists, your liberals, your hedonists, your educators, most of your educators in America, and religions in America. And I’m talking about religious Baptists, religious Catholics, religious tongue talkers, people that are religious. They don’t have the reality of Christ and his word in them. They absolutely oppose things. Oh, they’ll take some things. Everybody wants to go to heaven. But nobody wants to be responsible to live for God who are not many people.
▶ 35:31 I didn’t say nobody. To live for God here and be a light to the world. They just want a free ticket to heaven. Just like Americans just want a free ticket. I don’t have to work. I’ll just draw welfare. Welfare started in the church. And so God is giving us a welfare nation. Most every church preaches just like the pagans do. You’re part of us, you’re going to have life after death. Every religion out there offers that. But Christianity has a requirement. The second group, we will hear you again. They put it off. I don’t know about that. I was one of them. Uh, not sure I want to make that decision at this time.
▶ 36:24 I got things to do in my life. I was a young man. I had goals, you know how young people are. And I had things to do and then I’ll put I’ll I’ll check this out later. They put it off. But number three certain of them cleave they stuck under him Jesus. They stuck with Jesus and they believed. They didn’t stick with Paul. It ain’t going to do you no good to stick with Paul. It ain’t going to do you no good to stick with preacher here Dave Kinser pastor this church. You cleave to Jesus and you believe. Hallelujah. Powerful. Isn’t that beautiful? And this is the gospel that’s got to be preached out there.
▶ 37:17 All right. That causes [clears a reaction in people. Throat] It’s got to cause a reaction in people. Now, as we’ll see later. Now here is the evolutionist, the homosexuals, the atheists, the humanists, they got billboards out there. This really sounds something. They got a picture of Thomas Jefferson up there one of our founding fathers and they say he quoted this, I do not find in Christianity one redeemable feature. It is founded on fables and mythology. But when you go to the Smithsonian Institute and you look up Thomas Jefferson’s quote, you can’t find it anywhere. But most of us don’t bother to go check it out. We have all of his writings at the Smithsonian Institute. We can go and we can find out what letter, what book, what pamphlet, whatever he wrote to get that and it’s not there.
▶ 38:16 And they’ve been called out on it by the Orange County Register here one. They’ve been called out on it. You are telling people a lie. Hallelujah. But so many people are going to read this and quote it. Most people are quoting it. On the internet, it’s quoted all the time. And there’s no source for it. How many know you can’t quote without sources? Exodus 21:20. If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as the direct result, he must be punished. But he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two since the slave is his property. Who quoted it? God. Loving slavery since 4000 BC.
▶ 39:08 And these homosexuals, atheists, and humanists, and liberals pride themselves on reasoning. Intellectual logical thinking. They pride themselves, and that’s why they reject the Bible. But I challenge them to use that same logic, that same reason in this verse. This verse is not saying you can enslave people. This verse is about servitude. It’s about someone being poor, can’t feed themselves, so they come to a member of the nation and they sell themselves for 6 years. That’s the limit. 6 years and they will serve this guy for food, clothing, and shelter, and maybe a little extra money so they can go out and get a farm and make it on their own. There’s a big difference.
▶ 39:59 Now, King James interprets it as slave, but it’s really a servitude. You see? You can’t force anybody to do this. They go into debt. They They have plans and they want to go into business and, you know, they’re going to make money, and the plan fails, and then they owe people money. Well, they got to go and serve that person that they owe to get the debt paid off. Or they got to go to someone else who will pay the debt off. For 6 years, they serve the one who paid the debt off. That’s what it’s talking about. Folks, that’s not slavery. Do you understand that? You say, “How can you prove it?” Real simple. And I told Obama and all these guys this. They wouldn’t even give me a hearing here.
▶ 40:52 Exodus 21:16. Same chapter. Same chapter before this verse, “He who kidnaps a man and sells him, or if he’s found in his hand, shall be what?” “Put to death.” Now, how are you going to enslave somebody? How you going to force your will on somebody when God said if you do that, we’re going to kill you? See, kidnapping was illegal. But see, they twist the scriptures trying to destroy the minds and the preachers out there, so many of them don’t know the scriptures beyond salvation and water baptism and Holy Spirit and stuff. We don’t dig into the whole counsel of God, and we don’t have answers for these things. Hallelujah. God. If you know God’s nature, you know he wouldn’t approve of that.
▶ 41:45 And look at this one. You know it’s a myth. That’s the Christmas, the three wise men. Jesus born in a manger. Birth of a virgin. Coming to die for the sins of the world. A savior was born. They’re saying it’s a myth. But now, look at this word right here. Can you read that word? Reason. See, they’re they’re using reason. They’re using logic to say it’s a myth. Well, by the same logic, I challenge them. Historians wrote about the man Jesus. They said, “Oh, but those historians, that was put in there later.” I said, “You guys always have an excuse.”. I said, “Forget the historians, Josephus and them guys.
▶ 42:40 Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were with him. Luke said, “I’m writing to one of the leaders of the Roman Empire, so he would have perfect understanding of what happened with this man Jesus.” We know why he wrote it. We know who he wrote it to. And it’s confirmed by all the other three Gospels and the Book of Acts. The same writer of Luke is the same writer of the Book of Acts. They were there. They experienced it. That’s logical reasoning. Can I hear an amen? They lie to us, folks. These guys are out to challenge the living God, distort his name, and distort his word. And the sadly, the church world is believing a lot of this stuff.
▶ 43:31 They won’t do their research. They got time to watch soap operas on TV. They got time for bridge parties and go to aerobics at the gym. You know, 24-hour fitness. They don’t have time to get the most important thing in their brain and the understanding of truth and God’s word and Bible morality.
