▶ 22:49 Like to invite the pastor to come on up this time it’s at this time it’s an opportunity for us to gain knowledge of the word. To understand God’s word and our choice as we leave this place to apply it to our lives and when we do those things and when we make our personal relationship with Jesus and set time to gain knowledge and apply it to our life we can be born again. And know Jesus more so I’d like to invite the pastor to share the word this morning. Again we’re going to go to John chapter 20 verse 30. Many other signs. Miraculous miracles did Jesus in the presence of his disciples. Which are not written in this gospel of John but these are written in the gospel of John that you may believe the whole purpose is so we may believe that Jesus is the Christ the messiah and that Jesus is the son of God and by that believing.

Scripture (NKJV)

Isaiah 12:2-3 (NKJV)

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ” Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.

What can we have in His name?

▶ Watch this part (23:55)

Short answer: Abundant life here and eternal life in the world to come.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 23:55 We can have life in his name abundant life here on earth eternal life. In the world to come and also eternal life is knowing God we can know him. Peter said to Jesus you are the Christ the son of the living God the exact words that John set and Jesus said flesh and blood has not revealed that to you Peter but my father which is in heaven as I said before christianity is the only religion on earth where God is involved. In your salvation in your destiny it’s not just something you think with your mind and you believe. It is God living in us working with us doing these things and so he must reveal Christ. Unto us today we’re going to see the message of the simple gospel.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 10:10 (NKJV)

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

— John 10:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:55

How did they respond to the Bethesda miracle?

▶ Watch this part (24:52)

Short answer: They hated, verbally abused and finally murdered Jesus.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 24:52 We’re going to go back to. The miracle that was done at the pool of Bethesda and the preaching that Jesus did to the religious Jews the message he gave to the religious Jews. Who mistreated him. And tried to kill him and wound up killing him and mistreated his followers and what ended up killing many of his followers the message that he preached to this group. In John chapter 5 we see that. The Jews were there. They didn’t like. Him healing on the Sabbath day. They didn’t like him telling that man that was crippled to get up and walk and take up his bed on the Sabbath day that was against their religion.

▶ 25:49 And so they mistreated Jesus for it they hated him they murdered him they verbally abused him. Called him names. They verbally attacked him and his followers. But most of all they rejected Jesus and his message they rejected his gospel and they rejected those that followed him and so he starts speaking. To this group of Jews. We don’t like to preach to people who don’t like us who mistreat us and abuse us we don’t even like to be around them but Jesus. Talked to them and this is the reason this is the goal that he had in his speech to these Jews these Jews are people that believed in God.

▶ 26:44 But rejected Jesus Christ. You see. And not only rejected they retaliating. Verbally physically. These things I say that you might be saved he is preaching a message so that he might be saved from sin. The punishment of sin which is the lake of fire and the day of wrath that’s going to come upon the earth he tells them you search the scriptures. And in the scriptures you think you have eternal life. And that’s the problem with a lot of people that believe in God they think they have eternal life and yet they don’t know God and Jesus who John 17:3 says eternal life is to know God the only true God and his son Jesus Christ.

What do the Scriptures do?

▶ Watch this part (27:52)

Short answer: They testify of Me, yet you will not come to Me that you may have life.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 27:52 The scriptures are they which testify of me the son of God the messiah. Yet you will not come to me. That you might have life. See the difference between thinking. And possessing. Is God revealing himself to you and you possessing. Jesus didn’t say come to faith. He didn’t say come to grace. He didn’t say come to a message where you don’t have to do any works or you’re not under any of my laws. He didn’t say come to mary or any of the saints of old. He didn’t say to come to speaking in. Tongues.

▶ 28:44 He didn’t say to come to a religion of any kind. He didn’t say come to your family. And come to your friends or go with your family or go with your friends wherever they go. He didn’t say come to the music. It is God folks that reveals Jesus Christ the son of God and that’s what they needed. They did not have the Revelation. Given by God that Jesus was the messiah. The Christ the son of God. Thus they did not possess Jesus. They did not have Jesus because of their rejection.

▶ 29:40 So that was the goal of his message. So exactly what else did Jesus say. To get him saved to get him to know God to get them where God reveals his son unto them and they have eternal life. In verse 21 of John chapter 5. Jesus said this to them as the father raises the dead. And gives life to them. So the son gives life to whom soever. He will he desires. Now he’s not talking about the physically dead. He’s not talking about the father raising the somebody from the in the grave. And then giving them a new breath of life to live again in the earth he is talking about being spiritually dead.

▶ 30:40 And he’s talking about abundant life and eternal life God wants you to have an abundant life here on earth. And he wants you to live eternally with him. And so here we see Jesus is talking about the new creation. Supernatural change by the power of Jesus Christ if any man be in Christ he is is is equal in math story problems he is. See. A new. Creation. A new creature. All things are passed away. All things are made new the all sinful life passed away the new righteous life.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 5:39-40 (NKJV)

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

— John 5:39-40 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:52

What changes our nature?

▶ Watch this part (31:37)

Short answer: A visitation of God makes us a new creature.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 31:37 Is here and so we see this there is a visitation of God that changes your nature. We find in Colossians 2:13 the scriptures say it plainly we were dead in trespasses. And in our sinful nature we just had a sinful nature. And God made us alive with Christ he forgave us all of our transgresses. All of them. But the important thing here he had to forgive us of our sins. So he could make us alive. He had to forgive us of our sins so he could give us eternal life he didn’t just want to forgive us of our sins and leave us there he wanted to give us something and that’s him Jesus is the resurrection and the life so here we see it again a supernatural.

▶ 32:45 New creature change. In a person’s life from the old nature of sin to the new nature of righteousness. A work of God done in their life. In verse 22. The father judges no one he told these Jews. But he has committed all judgment to the son. Jesus is saying to these Jews who believed in God I am going to be the one after you’re dead to judge your destiny. I am the one. And they’re sitting there listening to him hating him despising him and trying to find something. To accuse him for and yet Jesus has given them the basic gospel.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:45

How should we honor the Son?

▶ Watch this part (33:43)

Short answer: All should honor the Son just as they honor the Father.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 33:43 Verse 23. All should honor the son just as they honor the father. He who does not honor the son does not honor the father who sent him. So Jesus is saying don’t get in a people today they only will use the name of Jesus or whatever. Yahweh now is the big one on facebook you can’t use Jesus anyway Yahweh. Folks God knows who he is and he has many names. And you call on any name that he has given us to call on and that includes the Holy Ghost. You can pray to the Holy Ghost it’s not sacrilegious to pray to the Holy Ghost the Holy Ghost is the spirit of God the Holy Ghost is a person it’s the person of God.

▶ 34:37 God is not frustrated up there with the perfect name. He’s just excited that you call on him and so he is telling these Jews that the son of God is just as important to honor as the father and the father is just as important to honor as the son and folks we got to give a balanced. Uh honoring to both names you agree. You know we can’t just neglect God because we want to stand on the name of Jesus. You got to you got to honor them both he threw that out and we have that problem today people want to dissect the word down to where you. You got to say it a certain way or it won’t work.

▶ 35:34 Now. He goes on to say to these Jews who want to kill him verbally abused. Now mistreating him. He says to them he who hears my word my word the son of God. The messiah. The Christ. And believes in him who sent me so what is he he told us to give honor to the father as well as to the son son and in the next statement he does he said he that believes in him the father who sent me. Has everlasting life. Now John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him Jesus has everlasting life here Jesus says if you believe in God who sent me you have everlasting life.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 5:23 (NKJV)

that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

— John 5:23 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 33:43

Who passes from death to life?

▶ Watch this part (36:35)

Short answer: He who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 36:35 Can both verses be true absolutely they are true. And the one who believes on God who sent me. Shall not come into judgment. When you die I won’t be judging you. To go to the lake of fire or whatever I will be judging you where you fit in. To the kingdom of God in that new heaven and new earth. But this is the kicker. He that hears my words and believes in him who sent me hath everlasting life and has passed from death to life here it is again that supernatural. Change that comes when God reveals Jesus to us when we come to Jesus and God comes and reveals him to us we have a change of nature we pass from the old nature of sin and death unto that new nature of life and righteousness.

▶ 37:45 Amen. And that’s what these Jews are missing they’re missing the experience of God they’re missing possessing God all they have is head knowledge of God all they have is a lot of rules and regulations of God and they don’t have God they believe in God but they don’t possess God. Because when you possess God it changes who you are. Isn’t that powerful. This is the simple gospel message. My assistant asked me a few weeks ago what is the gospel. This is it. This is the message of both believers now he’s preaching. This simple gospel message to believers in God.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 5:24 (NKJV)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

— John 5:24 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:35

What were the Jews missing?

▶ Watch this part (38:42)

Short answer: They believed in God but didn’t possess Him or let Him change their nature.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 38:42 Why because they believe in God but they don’t possess God they haven’t let God change their nature. If God had changed their nature they wouldn’t have hated Jesus hate is an emotional feeling an emotional. Reaction. To something or someone. That opposes you. You know you don’t like them your emotions get involved your mind gets involved when they come around you you have bad vibes you don’t want them around. And he’s preaching this simple gospel message and I’m saying it’s simple because it’s it’s that clear it’s that kindergarten but it’s powerful.

▶ 39:36 Okay it is the door to the rest of the inheritances of God. So he goes on in verse 25 and says the hour is coming. And now is. When the dead will hear the voice of the son of God. And those who hear will live and here he is he’s repeating his message. He told them before this thing the same thing. The dead here is the spiritually dead okay and the life he’s given them to live is abundant life here. And eternal life in the world to come so he’s repeating himself so when I repeat myself don’t sit out there going you already said that.

▶ 40:35 Out of two or three witnesses let everything be established sometimes we need to hear things more than once don’t we. And this is backed up in Ephesians 2:5. You he has made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins in which you once walked according to the course of this world according to the prince of the power of the air the spirit. Who now works and the sons of disobedient see before you came to Christ and he was revealed to you you were following the leading of Satan the spirit. That works in those who disobey. And this is what the American church has got to get back to understand. People out there in sin that is not overcoming sin.

▶ 41:28 They have not. Had that spirit of Satan and his influence. Freed from them. And that’s exactly what salvation when God is involved in salvation that’s exactly what he does he takes away the influence of Satan. Your old nature and gives you the spirit of God. Who is righteous your new. Nature. Now that’s good preaching folks. And why do Christians need to hear this because Christians will leave their first love they’ll get so wrapped up in life and busyness and all the rest and what does it say in Revelation the church offices left or what first love who is the first love to love God with all your heart with all your soul with all your might with all your strength.

▶ 42:28 And we drift away from that personal encounter then we start doing things that we wouldn’t have done before. So we need to hear this message to keep what. Up to date with our relationship with God amen and he’s talking to people who believe in God. And that’s what works in the children of disobedience they are listening to Satan. The accuser the liar instead of to God. Supernatural change wow. That spirit that works in us now to obey God’s word is a supernatural change hallelujah you are the temple of God.

▶ 43:22 The spirit of God dwells in you. God is holy God is righteous God is true God is just everything that God is is in you. And we work toward. That. Lifestyle because God is there telling us not Satan anymore. In verse 26. The father has life in himself so he has granted the son to have life in himself. And he has given the son authority to execute judgment also here he is repeating himself again he just told him that all judgment was given to him and he was the one that’s going to decide where they spend eternity and here he repeats himself. Only this time he says.

Why “Son of Man”?

▶ Watch this part (44:16)

Short answer: He was given authority to judge because He is the Son of Man who lived holy.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 44:16 God gave me judgment because I am the son of man he didn’t use the word son of God. He used the word son of man why because Jesus was just as much human as he was. Divine mary. A fleshly woman. Con was conceived. And child was conceived in her by the father not a human man. So he is the son of man. As well as the son of God. You agree you ought to that’s what the scriptures tell us and why is it important because the Bible says he experienced every lust every affection ever desire he experience everything we experience.

▶ 45:16 That causes us to drift away and to sin and all this and he lived holy and righteous the perfect lamb that died and he for our sins and he is the mediator between God and us and we can go to him and he understands why we do the things we do. And he has mercy on us. And keeps working with us until we overcome these things isn’t that powerful so understanding he is the son of man is very important. The human part of God. He understands everything about you because he. Lived in that fleshly body of Jesus Christ God lived there. Now.

John 5:27 (NKJV)

and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.

What is the great white throne?

▶ Watch this part (46:09)

Short answer: The dead are judged according to their works.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 46:09 Judgment Revelation 20 verse 12 a great white throne. Is there in Revelations 20 verse 12 the [unclear] the dead stand before God. All right doesn’t say standing before Christ says standing before God now we know it doesn’t matter right. The son the father it doesn’t matter. The books were opened. Record of everything you did. And the book of life was there. The dead are judged according to the works what works the works written in the book. You see. And all. Not found in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire this is the second death.

▶ 47:09 So when you have been. Revealed by a had a Revelation of Christ by God revealing him to you and you are saved you see you’ve passed from death to life when those books are open there’s nothing but empty pages. Because the blood erases. Everything you did even yesterday’s sin that you repented of there is not even a record that it was ever there you can’t even see the imprint where it used to be. It’s gone you understand. And then they go over to the book of life yeah here it is David kinser October 14th. Are you with me.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 20:12 (NKJV)

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

— Revelation 20:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:09

Was he a great Christian when saved?

▶ Watch this part (48:05)

Short answer: He was saved October 14, 1964; people said he wouldn’t last six months.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 48:05 Now. Was I a great Christian when I got saved on October the 14th back there in 1964. I think it was 63. No. If I died would God hold me accountable for some sins I was doing. Because I hadn’t grown enough yet. When he opened those books would those sins be there. No. Baby Christians. Are a mess. Baby Christians are only saved and no God that’s what it says in John the babies the infants know God that’s it. They’re saved their birth the birthing is right but the Bible says they cause division they live carnal they they verbally abuse other people.

▶ 49:09 Have you met them. You probably look in the mirror and see. One. Hallelujah. Yes the difference between once saved always saved eternal security is. That as we grow we have to seek him you see. If we are seeking him. And we’re working on changing our life the blood covers. If we’re not seeking him and seeking his word and trying to grow it doesn’t cover you. And that’s the error and once saved always saved I can do what I want and God looks the other way no he doesn’t you see and next week we’ll see a better picture of this all right.

▶ 50:02 So the son of man is very important and the second death is the lake of fire. Which burns forever and ever I mean it’s it’s prison for eternity. Punishment for eternity people say God is a God of love I tell you the God message of the God of love did not bring me to Christ it was a message of that lake of fire I didn’t want to burn. I was afraid. And fear. Drove me to Christ. And then I met. The other side of God hallelujah. The God of love who would save me forgive me work with me. Hallelujah don’t be afraid to preach sin don’t be afraid to preach the lake of fire that is really lacking when I.

▶ 51:02 Surf through things on tv and the internet. Uh. This message this basic message of the gospel is just not being preached enough. If if at all. We’re just more interested in feeling good about ourself and making money and you know. Instead of really possessing the things of God. So the son of man is very important. Now verse 28 do not marvel at this. For the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves will hear his voice now he’s talking about dead bodies. All right how many all. There is no. Indication of a rapture here at all. How many in the graves.

Who will come forth?

▶ Watch this part (51:55)

Short answer: Those who have done good to the resurrection of life; at His death graves opened.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 51:55 All. They will hear his voice and come forth those that have done good. To the resurrection of life. That new heaven at new earth. That we’re going to inherit when we get resurrected on that last day he’s resurrecting us. To place us in a new heaven and a new earth with him for eternity that is ah I like that other I like that antidote. To the hell message. When I was a sinner hearing this stuff I can choose to live eternally with Christ on a new heaven or on earth or I can choose to go and be punished in the lake of fire. And Jesus decides my fate.

▶ 52:50 And so I came to him. And he did the rest. And those that said I wouldn’t last six months. I’m going on 60 years of serving Christ. A lot of Christians didn’t last six months that’s why they said that. Because they didn’t really get born again the birthing is important. You’ve got to get birthed by that spirit. And those have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation that’s the lake of fire the second death. These people’s evil that he’s talking to. These people that believed in God but they rejected Jesus abused Jesus verbally physically and even killed him they rejected him as the Christ the messiah the savior.

▶ 53:46 They rejected his gospel that he’s preaching to him right now. And they rejected his followers they didn’t like people who follow because a lot of the followers used to be in their group they don’t like anybody leaving their group. It says the same thing in Daniel chapter 12 verse 1. Your people shall be delivered all found written in the book what book the book of life. Many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake some to everlasting life and some to shame and shame and contempt when Jesus quoted this verse he said all. Hallelujah. All now. Let’s.

▶ 54:39 Nail this. When Jesus died. The earth shook. The rocks were rent in two. And the graves of people buried around Jerusalem. Were. Opened. My goodness what’s going on here. Is it and I represented it with this picture you can see the grays open here right around the cross and all around the city and that’s why Joseph and these guys wanted to be buried. In Jerusalem that area because they knew this was going to happen.

▶ 55:32 They knew that. And these saints of old these graves were open all over I mean these people are experiencing something. Graves opening. Now nothing’s happened yet just graves open graves open I mean that uh that gets your attention. You’re standing there watching Jesus die on the cross and bingo a grave opened up right by you what’s going on I mean that ought to convert anybody. But after Christ’s resurrection. After he rose they rose and he rose early Sunday morning.

▶ 56:24 So they rose early Sunday morning went into town and talk to people. Now folks. Just put yourself back there. You get up on Sunday morning and Moses is walking through the street king David is walking through the street Abraham is walking through the street. Something’s going on. That’s the power of God’s basic gospel of salvation to make you a new creature. That one day you will rise just like Moses and all them did. Here. Revelations 1:5 from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead.

▶ 57:19 The what first begotten of the dead the first resurrected one it says it in first Corinthians and other places he is the first of the resurrection. Then those of us later. And all these saints are rising with him. Daniel’s there oh man. Ezekiel all these guys are there. So the resurrection. Of Jesus Christ and the saints of old is the first resurrection. I’m going to repeat it. Jesus Christ rising from the dead and the saints of old rising with him is the first resurrection.

Who is blessed?

▶ Watch this part (58:14)

Short answer: He who has part in the first resurrection; the second death has no power over him.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 58:14 That is very important I’m going to show you why. Revelation 20 verse 6. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Oh. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection Jesus was the first resurrection with the saints of old and if I have a part in that because I believe in his death burial and resurrection. You see. Are you with me I wasn’t there but I believe because God revealed to me that Jesus was messiah that he died on the cross for my sins and he rose the third day because I believe in his resurrection. The first resurrection.

▶ 59:07 Over such the second death has no power. I’m not going to hell I’m not going to the lake of fire because I believe in Jesus I believe he died on the cross for my sins and I believe he rose on Sunday morning that spirit of life in Christ Jesus that raised him from the dead dwells in us and because of my belief in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over me it has no power over you so I never lived 60 years in Christ worried about going to hell. Never. Hell has no power over me.

▶ 1:00:00 The lake of fire has no power over me. And they shall be priests of God and Christ and shall reign with him. A thousand years and this is where everybody believes what they hear repeated all the time. You’ve been told that the first resurrection is the rapture. So many people believe that there is no rapture in the Bible. As. A catching away of the saints and then Christ coming again for the rest of the dead it’s just not there we just read it very plainly all in the grace what come out the bad the good everybody’s coming out. And there’s nowhere in the Bible that says that we’re going to reign with Christ a thousand years but this.

▶ 1:00:54 Place. And out of two or three witnesses let what everything be established. Okay but what is written in the Bible about reigning with Christ. And if you think Christ is not reigning now does the Bible say he’s the Lord of Lord and the king of kings. Yes is he king now yes is he ruling and reigning over the nations now yes the quiet the Bible says he is he’s not the coming king he is king. Amen. Now. Reigning with Christ a thousand years. This lake of fire is the second death has no power over us and this speaks again of that new creature.

▶ 1:01:53 That new creation that happened when we. Get saved. That birthing. Continues. And brings us to this place. Romans 5:17 as the musicians come. Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. Shall reign after the rapture by one Christ Jesus. That isn’t what it says is it. Shall reign a thousand years somewhere down the road. Doesn’t say that. And this is the power of the gospel this this presence of God.

▶ 1:02:46 Being able to touch the presence of God in a church just as a young Christian kept bringing me back because God could keep changing me his presence comes to keep changing me keep teaching me and that presence oh it’s like your car getting. Tank filled up again you know man I can make it through the week ah. We will reign in life. By one Christ Jesus. What’s more important to my family my wife my children my brothers my sisters. That I believe I’m saved. Or that I possess salvation.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Revelation 20:6 (NKJV)

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

When do we reign?

▶ Watch this part (1:03:41)

Short answer: Now — we reign in life through Christ.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:03:41 Because if I possess salvation. I will reign with Christ. He has a scepter of righteousness he is the king of righteousness. And I will treat my spouse right I will treat my kids right. So many people believe in God and they treat their spouse like dirt they treat their kids horribly. The homes in America are a mess and most of these homes believe in God but they do not possess. This new creature. This. New nature. To speak right and to live right.

▶ 1:04:35 Hallelujah. We reign in life they got us having to wait till the somewhere down the road to reign [unclear]eed to rain right now I’m in this nasty dark and sinful world and I need the power of God to rule over sin to rule over my enemies to rule over Satan and his principalities and power can I hear an amen. I need it now not somewhere in the future. I need my kids experiencing that now my wife experience in that now. Because that’s what makes the difference in any relationship. Is that new birth that new creature in Christ Jesus. We’re going to sing a song change my heart oh God. Whether you’re a Christian that like me that been serving Christ for almost 60 years or you’re a young Christian.

▶ 1:05:39 You need to make sure your birthing has been right. That when God came to you in salvation he gave you a new nature. Oh you won’t be working for walking in righteousness in every area but you’re on the road. That’s what counts you’re on the road. And as you seek him as you walk in him you can’t just sit back and not read your Bible not pray not go to church not feed yourself you’ve got to feed yourself you got to drink of his presence drink of his spirit if you’re not doing that. He can’t do anything with you. And so today we’re going to sing this song and if you want Christ to change your heart whether you’re an old Christian or a young one or not a Christian you come to Christ today confess your sin he’s faithful and just to forgive you your sin and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

▶ 1:06:41 And he’s faithful to put a new nature in you. When he says you must be born of the water and of the spirit a man must be born again that’s what he’s talking about the spirit of God comes on you and puts a new nature in you now you have a desire you have a drive to walk right oh you’ll stumble and you’ll make mistakes in your early life but you’ll get up because you have that God will the righteous fall seven times and the Lord picks him up. You know we’re not finished because we make mistakes we’re finished because we don’t get up from our mistakes. Hallelujah. So if you really want God to change you today or continue changing you will you stand with me and let’s just spend about 15 minutes seeking God we need to slow down.

▶ 1:07:40 In our church services and give God time to move. This pandemic has got us on a a 90 mile an hour freeway we need to slow down. And seek him and expect him to find us he said if you seek me I will be found of you but we got to spend time seeking him so let’s do this in prayer this. Morning. Change my heart oh God. Make it ever. True. Change my heart oh God. May I be like.

▶ 1:08:36 Change my heart oh God. Make it ever true. Change my heart oh. May I be like you. You are the partner. This is what I. Change my heart.

▶ 1:09:40 May I be. Like. Oh father. Oh father. Father. You are the partner. This is. May I be.

▶ 1:10:56 Like. Oh. Oh. God. So.

▶ 1:12:06 Um. Change my heart. Change. Oh. My God. Oh.

▶ 1:13:44 Um. So. Father we just pray this day. That we never lose sight of you. Lord Israel was found to do what’s right in their own eyes.

▶ 1:14:40 Instead of what was right in God’s eyes. And Lord it’s so easy. To get into a pattern of religion. The Jew who came to pray with another. Said I thank you God that I’m not like other people that I fast twice a week I pay tithes I do this I do that. The other man said Lord be merciful to me. A sinner be merciful to my transgressions against your laws your will. And Lord you said that man went away justified.

▶ 1:15:35 Made right in the eyes of God. Because he still. Recognized he needed you. Working in his life not working principles. Out of routine out of duty. But from a relationship with you. Lord you said we could all know you from the least to the greatest in your new covenant. Jesus. You want us to love you. You want us to serve you. You want us to bring forth the fruit of repentance.

▶ 1:16:29 You want us to give back the love that you gave us. And Lord we just ask you today to come and change us. Get us back Lord to that verse. That we come out of the desert. Out of the tough places leaning on our beloved. Leaning on our beloved. Lord let us never forget that. And Lord as we seek you in worship as we seek you in prayer as we seek you in reading the word as we seek you in assembling together. We ask you Lord to every time bless it with your presence.

▶ 1:17:29 Israel said we’re not going up. From this place. Unless your presence goes with us. And Lord we’re saying the same thing today Lord we don’t want to just fall into the entrapment of religious principles. We want your presence we want your person with us in everything we. Do. And Lord your word says that when we. Have your presence. And we speak by the spirit of the Lord. That when the unlearned and the unbeliever comes in our midst. You will expose their heart. You will reveal yourself to them and they will fall down on their face and worship God and proclaim that God is alive and living amongst us.

▶ 1:18:29 So Lord today we are focusing back on you Jesus. We want your presence and we want your living word. And Lord we want our lives to continually be changing supernaturally. Into the very image of the Lord Jesus Christ. Changing us into a mature Christian and keeping us a mature Christian. We pray this Lord Jesus and we pray it for this church and we pray for every church in America and every church throughout the world. Lord do not let us leave our first love. But let us keep that relationship. Of his presence with us whether we’re at home or whether we’re at church or at work let your presence be with us Lord Jesus we pray.

▶ 1:19:26 Thank you for hearing our prayer. Thank you Lord for responding. And changing us this day. And everybody said. Amen you can find your seat as mike comes to close the service. Oh I. Will. Seek me. I. Will. See. See.

▶ 1:20:30 Thee. Every way that’s in my life. To. See. After. Me. Jesus said thank You, Father, for your word this morning God your word is so good. Jesus God Lord I was just reminded today. God how you said take eat this is my body. God it’s so imperative God that we touch you that we meet with you.

▶ 1:21:23 Lord Jesus we experience the power of your presence that we hear that living word God. Lord not just live religiously but Lord live with our first love Christ. Jesus I pray for this church God. God I pray for the leadership Jesus God I asked Lord that they would. You give him the boldness give them the equipping God they need. Lord Jesus to present this message to. People all throughout this city. Our state and our country Jesus. Lord Jesus please God I pray right now God.

▶ 1:22:17 Or that you do a such a work in the people here. The young people the old people God Lord that we would have such a concern. A care. And a love for what you want to get done. And God we know what that is you want to build your church. Nothing. Will come against it. Lord Jesus please we pray for that power in equipping your church Jesus. We thank you amen. I’m gonna ask stephanie to pray for the offering. Jesus thank you for this time that we can be together and give glory and honor to your name Lord God.

▶ 1:23:11 And thank you for the word that has refreshed us and empowered us to continue on in your truth and in growing in you I pray for the offering Lord God that it would continue to fuel. The ministries here and support the work that you want to do in this church and in this group of people and in this city Lord God and your precious name. Amen. I only have a one announcement I just want to remind you that we’ve been doing children’s churches our second week now we were here on Friday we had a wonderful time during worship.

▶ 1:24:03 Miss Stephanie spoke the message did a great job and it was good. Miss Mrs. Gomez and Paul were there everybody was there I think we had as many as adults as we did children. But it was exciting I I thought it was a great great time the kids enjoyed it. And. Some of that you could see it on their face like one kid that hadn’t has not come or been haven’t seen him forever he’s gotten big and uh he was just he he looked so excited he looks just excited to be there and I would ask questions like you know how do we why do we praise God he’s like I know why. And this is not you know this is a kid that comes on the on the in the van and he just you could see it on the face that they.

▶ 1:25:00 They they they feel something when they come here there’s there’s a difference there’s a love there’s a power and it was so good to see in these kids and uh it’s encouraging. It’s encouraging to see that when you come and you know that we got to do it. So anyway I just wanted to share that. And it’s also a good opportunity to reach the parents. We all need a mouth a mouthpiece to share with the parents and give them an opportunity to come to church and know God amen I’d like to thank you for joining us this morning. We hope you have a wonderful day you’re dismissed God bless you.
