Jesus' Processing Plan, Part 1: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
In “Jesus’ Processing Plan, Part 1,” Pastor David G. Kincer walks through Mark 3 to Mark 6 to show how Jesus called, made and sent his disciples: they followed him, responded to his call, spent time with him, were taught and shown his authority, and only then were sent to preach repentance, heal and cast out devils. He says everything starts with following Jesus and that authority comes only from Christ, not from titles or prophecies.
Where does everything in God start?
Short answer: He says anything in God starts with “follow me,” and the “me” is Jesus. When you take the accountability and responsibility to respond to Jesus and actually follow him, you are a candidate for very important things in the kingdom; if you do not, no matter who prophesies over you, you will never be anything in the kingdom.
▶ 0:00 Okay we’re going to talk about prophecy we’re going to talk about prophecy from the Bible uh teachings on it and we’re going to be talking about prophecy from my experience being in Pentecostal circles spirit fill circles where these things are supposedly used and my experience over these years is that fair enough I’m going to go slow I’m not watching the clock [unclear] is going to keep time so in 40 minutes we don’t kill you like they did at that conference we’ll give you a chance to stand up stretch them guys would go for an hour and a half and two hours without even giving you a break. So it starts with anything in God starts with this follow me.
▶ 0:58 Okay. Say it with. Me me and who is me Jesus you see when you take the accountability and you take the responsibility to respond to Jesus when he comes and actually follow him you are a candidate for very important things in the kingdom you understand that. And if you’re not a follower and you’re not responsible to follow you don’t take accountability and responsibility I don’t care who prophesies over to you you’re never going to be anything in the kingdom do you understand that? Hallelujah so far you got it all right that’s the initial thing and if you want to attain to anything in the kingdom and and you want to be eventually somewhere down the road placed into the body and some function such as a pastor evangelist prophet teacher.
Scripture in this part
Mark 3:13 (NKJV)
And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
— Mark 3:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:54 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Can a seminary or Bible college make you a minister?
Short answer: He says Jesus said “follow me” and he will make you fishers of men; a seminary cannot do it unless you are in his will and he is molding you there. He says Bible colleges and seminaries are stamping out the same model like a factory, and being a good speaker does not mean Jesus is with you; we can do nothing without Christ.
▶ 2:08 Apostle uh you know a giver. Whatever you got to start like everybody else you got to start following Jesus then Jesus said if you follow me I will what make you fishers of men I’ll fashion you I’ll develop you so can I go to a seminary and get this done no not unless I’m in his will and he’s molding me in that seminary and that is why in America college Bible colleges seminaries and all the rest are stamping out like a factory uh you know plant the same model and Jesus isn’t in it and so they they take that model that they want and they place it out there in the churches and the church isn’t growing the church isn’t maturing and the church is not strengthened inside in the inner man and having wisdom and knowledge are you there just because you got the gift of speaking does not mean he’s with you in that.
▶ 3:26 Speaking but he’s such a good speaker so what. If he’s not saying what the Holy Ghost says if he’s not doing it from Christ it’s not going to work we can do nothing without Christ are you with me so far I want to make sure that I’m going slow enough that we get this in us all right so Jesus is going to make us but the requirement is what. Follow him not the Catholic church not the Protestant church not the Muslim you got to follow who him and then when you decide that he puts you in his processing. Plan you are going to go through a processing plan a processing. Factory and if you drop out of that processing plan you’re not going to reach the goal.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 4:19 (NKJV)
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
— Matthew 4:19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 2:25 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 15:5 (NKJV)
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
— John 15:5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 3:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is Jesus’ processing plan, and why does it happen in the church?
Short answer: From Mark 3:13 he says Jesus went up into the mountain, and the mountain in Micah 4:1 is the church in the latter days. He says there is a process to get from point A to point B and it is in his church, the gathering together of his people, where two or three are gathered and his presence is.
▶ 4:28 Are you with me so far now what is his processing. Plan are you interested? Mark 3:13, number one: Jesus went up into the mountain the mountain in Micah 4:1 is the church and the latter days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains and all all nations will flow into it for out of that mountain shall come forth the law and the word of the Lord and they shall beat their swords into pruning hooks and their plows into military weapons into non-military. Uses and there won’t be war in the earth and that has never been fulfilled why because God’s people haven’t really understood.
▶ 5:30 Christ processing plan to get from point a to point b there is a process and it’s in his church you can’t get it at home you can’t get it in home Bible. Studies unless that home Bible study is the gathering together of the church do you understand that what God is doing he’s going to do in in his church church the gathering together of his people so we got to go where Jesus. Is if you’re going to follow Jesus you got to go where he’s at and where is he at his church you he’s also up in heaven on the throne but he’s also where in his church where two or three are gathered together there I am in the midst that’s where his presence is in the gathering of his people the church is a powerful vehicle of God and he doesn’t skirt around his church.
Scripture in this part
Mark 3:13 (NKJV)
And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
— Mark 3:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:45Micah 4:1-3 (NKJV)
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
— Micah 4:1-3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:49Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
— Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:20 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Is every Christian called, and how should we respond?
Short answer: He says Jesus called unto him whom he would, so Jesus, not apostles or prophets, is the deciding factor, and all of us have been given this invitation: we are a kingdom of priests, all called to be ministers under God. He says the disciples did not say “I’m not worthy”; they responded, and that takes a responsive heart, not magical prophecies.
▶ 6:33 Number two Jesus called unto whom he would okay he invited. Okay you answered my call back there to follow me and they dropped their fishing nets and they dropped their tax monies and they got up and they followed Christ I mean they just followed him they took responsibility. Now he calls him again whom he would whom who he so who is the deciding factor here apostles prophets evangelist pastors and teachers or Jesus Christ yeah he’s still the one that’s doing this he came with another call okay and he chose out of those responsible people another call all right another invitation now all of us have been given this invitation Jesus said in Matthew come unto me all ye that are labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest are you with me the Bible says we are a kingdom of priests we are all called to be ministers under God you got that so don’t say well I don’t feel the calling.
▶ 7:58 Huh. You are. Called okay he has chosen you and called you he said that you haven’t chosen me but I’ve chosen you and ordain you that you should bring forth fruit so how many of us are called in the second calling all of us all of us. Amen see because you follow followed him at that salvation call now number three they came to him they responded they didn’t go well I’m not. Worthy I’m just a flea on the dog like David said I’m just not worthy you know look at my life I’m just a puny weeny.
▶ 8:52 Christian they didn’t do that they responded they said okay God if you got something more for me Jesus here I am here I am use me. So again he gave them another call of responsibility and they took that responsibility and responded okay no magical prophecies no magical anything it is just a step by step taking responsibility for what God is saying what for you what he want you to do are we with me so. Far have I lost anybody all right so you got to have a responsive heart Jesus said he that hath more shall be given he that hath not even that which he has will be taken away what is he talking about a responsive heart see he that has a responsive heart I’m going to give him more.
Scripture in this part
Mark 3:13 (NKJV)
And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
— Mark 3:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:37Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
— Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:36 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 15:16 (NKJV)
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
— John 15:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:09 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Mark 4:25 (NKJV)
For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
— Mark 4:25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:44 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why did Jesus ordain twelve “to be with him”?
Short answer: He says Jesus made 12, not 12,000, and this second calling is not just to follow him but to be with him: spend time with him in the word, in prayer and in worship and take on his nature. He says many want to get into the ministry who have not responded to the calling of being with him.
▶ 9:59 They that don’t have a responsive heart they’re going to lose even what they. Had so far got it. Yeah Jesus’s processing. Plan number four he ordained 12 to be with him this word ordained is the same word up here. Make he made 12 out of all those that came he made 12 not 12,000 not 12 million not everybody in the church not everybody that was following but he chose how many 12 and one of them was a thief to be.
▶ 10:54 What with him this calling this second calling is not just to follow him but be with him spend time with him in the word spend time with him in prayer spend time with him that’s why worship is so important it gives us it should give us a chance to spend time with Jesus and take on his nature are you there. See this calling is to be with him a lot of people want to get into the ministry and they haven’t responded to the calling of being with. Him they don’t know how to worship they don’t know how to pray working at the clock oh man [unclear] they don’t enjoy spending time with Jesus in prayer in worship and in the word he is the word and when you’re reading the word you’re reading what Jesus says you’re spending time with him wow that’s.
Scripture in this part
Mark 3:14 (NKJV)
Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,
— Mark 3:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:20Why don’t many Christians grow and bring forth fruit?
Short answer: He says Jesus chose and ordained us to bring forth fruit, but many are fruitless because they have not answered the call to be with him. They are ready to be workers, teachers or musicians before they have gone through the processing, and they cannot graduate unless they respond to this second call.
▶ 12:10 Good. Amen does everybody understand so far first we’re called to follow out of our sins and follow him follow him to the cross be forgiven for those. Sins then we’re put in his processing factory and his second calling is hey spend some time with me get to know me not some book author not some great speaker get to know. Me is that. Good yeah why don’t a lot of Christians grow and bring forth fruit because Jesus said I have chosen you and ordained you made you to be. My people and to bring forth.
▶ 13:05 Fruit why are they fruitless they haven’t answered this call to be with him oh they’re ready to be a children’s church worker a children’s church teacher or a youth leader or a musician in the house of God oh they’re ready to get to the end of the processing before they’ve gone through the processing wow that was. Good oh yeah they’re ready for action. Man but they don’t want to take time to be with. Him they don’t want to take time to be in the word that’s. True and they can’t graduate unless they respond to this second call to be with him then he. Says after they do this is that I might that I perhaps that I.
Scripture in this part
John 15:16 (NKJV)
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
— John 15:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 12:10 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why does Mark say Jesus “might” send them forth?
Short answer: He says “maybe, possibly” because Jesus wants to know if you will stand fast in the processing plan; those who did not were disqualified. He says if you are not in his processing plan it is just human beings ministering to human beings instead of Jesus ministering through human beings.
▶ 14:05 Maybe might send them forth to preach to have power to heal the sicknesses and cast out de— devils. Maybe. Possibly why maybe and possibly because he wants to know if you’re going to stand fast in the processing. Plan and if you don’t rejected as we heard a couple of fridays. Ago they were disqualified why they didn’t follow the processing. Plan I don’t care if people like to hear you speak and sing and play your instrument if you’re not in his processing plan you are. Worthless it’s just human beings ministering to human. Beings instead of Jesus ministering through human beings.
▶ 15:04 Now you know why when I go places I am. Critiquing even to know if they have a problem with people that wear. Suits I want to know if people’s hearts are genuine or do they have a hidden. Motive do they want you to buy their books and get doped into their plan like they’re their only plan there. Is. Okay and when he send them forth he sends them to what. Preach what good is healing the sick and casting out devils if you can’t teach the people how to get saved and stay.
Scripture in this part
Mark 3:14-15 (NKJV)
Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
— Mark 3:14-15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 14:06Is healing more important than teaching?
Short answer: He says he came through an era when the emphasis was on the ability of the person to do something for God, healing was more important than teaching and knowing him, and “we had a mess on our hands.” He says people only got on a hype like drugs and then had a downer.
▶ 15:57 Saved. See I come through a I come through an era in in the church world where the emphasis was on the ability of the person to do something for. God and we had a mess on our hands healing was more important than teaching and knowing him. True casting out demons oh you’re a big hero wow. Woo and you can’t teach and you don’t spend time knowing him you’re worthless to the people all they do is get on a hype like drugs and then when that drug wears off they what have a downer I mean a downer.
Where does spiritual authority come from?
Short answer: He says when you follow the processing and spend time with him, he gives you the ability to teach and the authority. Authority comes from Jesus Christ, not from a title or being the head of the church, and not from yelling; you do not have authority unless he gives it to you.
▶ 16:56 But when you follow follow the processing and spend time with him and follow him and take responsibility. Then he gives you he gives you the ability to teach he gives. You the authority to have power authority so where does authority come. From Jesus Christ you don’t get it because you’re the got a title that you’re the head of the church I doesn’t give you authority Christ gives you. Authority authority comes from God and if he don’t give it to you you ain’t got it I don’t care how much you think you can some people think because they can yell and and and speak strongly man they have authority you don’t got authority unless he gives it to you.
How much time should a Christian spend with Jesus?
Short answer: He says the ones Jesus gave authority to were those who followed, responded the second time and spent time with him. Without going to extremes, he says Jesus asked for one hour a day, “could you not watch with me one hour,” and one hour out of 24 is not extreme.
▶ 17:53 Now who are them the ones that followed the ones that took resp responsibility at the beginning to repent from their sins through the cross get planted in the church and follow Christ that’s. Them the second them is those that responded the second. Time and the third them is those that spend time with. Him all right got. It. How much time do you spend with Jesus how much time do you spend in the word now you know you got to work you got to cook you got to clean house and all that don’t get some weirdo extreme on me but Jesus asked for one hour a day could you not watch with me one hour could you take one hour out of 24 and spend time with me in my word is that extreme 1 hour out of 24 no.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 26:40 (NKJV)
Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour?
— Matthew 26:40 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:42 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Is healing the sick for today?
Short answer: He says people need the church to have authority to cast out devils, preach the gospel that convicts of sin, and heal the sick. He says healing the sick is for today and always in God’s dispensation, because God cares for people’s physical, spiritual, mental and emotional condition and has chosen the church as his vessel.
▶ 19:00 Is the results worth it. Yeah yeah people need the real deal out there church they need the church have an authority to cast out devils and recognize devils and to preach the gospel that convicts people of sin to change their life and to heal the sick that’s part of the package healing the sick is for today don’t let these people tell you that oh well it’s not in God’s dispensation it’s always in God’s dispensation he cares for his people he cares for their physical their spiritual their mental and their emotional condition our God is a caring God and he has authority but he to do these things but he has chosen the church as his vessel. Now the shocking thing is you read all this in the other epistles uh gospels I’m sorry and they didn’t follow Mark’s timeline you you wonder why he he give his four gospels so that through all four we get the clear.
What happened between Mark 3 and Mark 6?
Short answer: He says Jesus did not send them out immediately but waited three chapters, and between the calling and the sending is the processing factory. First, in Mark 4:2, he taught them many things, the whole counsel of God, and he says Jesus, the living word, is the real teacher.
▶ 20:12 Picture Mark hits this very clearly they weren’t sent out. Immediately he might perhaps send them forth he. Waited three chapters before he sent them out. Out and I know you didn’t notice that in your reading because you’re just read read so he can say I got through the Bible in year and that’s okay you just keep doing that you keep doing that that’s there’s nothing wrong with that but you need to take time to say God open my understanding could that be true now look at this he didn’t send them out to Mark 6 what happened between Mark 3 and Mark 6 it’s his processing plan say it processing plan yeah between the calling and the sending is the processing.
▶ 21:12 Factory Mark 4:2 he taught them many things he didn’t send them out there ignorant the first thing he did is he taught them how much many things not just salvation. And grace and faith he taught them many things as Paul said I have not ceased to declare to you the whole counsel of God how many know that’s what Jesus did with them he taught them how many you know that’s what we need we need taught by Jesus himself you can call it the Holy Ghost you can call it Jesus you can call it the living word but that is the real teacher I am only a vessel speaking the word he is the one that can put his his hand on you and birth that word in. You so I am nothing he is.
Scripture in this part
Mark 4:2 (NKJV)
Then He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in His teaching:
— Mark 4:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:13Acts 20:27 (NKJV)
For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
— Acts 20:27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How did Jesus show his disciples his authority?
Short answer: He says Jesus taught them in parables and his doctrine, then showed them the authority: he calmed the stormy sea instantly, cast many devils out of Legion, healed the woman with the issue of blood when the doctors could not, and could identify and cast out demons.
▶ 22:10 Everything and he spoke to them in parables and that’s the kingdom of God and said unto them in his doctrine whose doctrine his doctrine who we come up you know these people don’t have a right to give us their doctrine we only have a right to teach the apostles doctrine and his doctrine number two he showed them the authority he said I want to give you authority and then he showed them the authority he calmed the stormy sea how many you know that takes authority I mean and this thing did not. Take seven days to calm or 1 million years to calm when he said calm that see what calm just like that when he said let there be light there was light when he said let the earth bring forth the plants and every living creature what happened bam no million year nonsense billion year nonsense bam he’s.
▶ 23:26 God no evolution no mutation. Bam. Amen he cast out many devils out of Legion he healed a woman with the issue of blood the doctors couldn’t do anything she was going to die men had reached their limit and Jesus healed her men couldn’t calm a stormy sea Jesus Jesus could men cannot identify and cast out demon Jesus could he had the authority and he had the perception he was rejected by his own countrymen he went into where he grew up and they go oh that’s. Jesus a prophet’s not without honor but in his own family is on countrymen people that know well that’s Dave Kincer you know over in Africa.
Scripture in this part
Mark 4:39 (NKJV)
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
— Mark 4:39 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 22:57 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Genesis 1:3 (NKJV)
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
— Genesis 1:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:09 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Mark 5:25-29 (NKJV)
Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
— Mark 5:25-29 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:43 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why do people close to us reject us?
Short answer: He says Jesus was rejected in his own country and could do only a few miracles, and he says Jesus chose not to do them there to teach a principle. He says the enemies will be those of your own household, you will have as many rejecting you as accepting you for preaching Christ, and you can measure your closeness to God by the opposition.
▶ 24:28 My name is. Amazing they got my tapes they I mean you know they treat me like they treat big preachers over here in America I’m nothing in my own family I’m nothing and that’s fine my own family don’t need to be that’s that’s that would stink if your family oh dad is so or my husband or that how many [unclear] you know that just stinks that smells wrong huh so there’s nothing wrong on one issue of not being honored by those around you but it is wrong when they cut off the source of the power of God. Amen and he could only do a few miracles now it wasn’t that he could only do a few miracles he chose not to do the miracles because Jesus can do anything the father says to do he didn’t need those people believing in him you understand that if the father said go into your country and you do this and that Jesus would have went and did it where they believed it or not.
▶ 25:38 But he wants to teach a principle and so this you know so we got to learn what people are going to reject you if you think everybody’s going to love you how many you know the Bible says that the enemies will be those of your own household you see you know they they they know some little flaw you got got you don’t quite talk right or your attitude isn’t the best all the time and you’re just a phony Christian people can reject you people can reject this message of Christ and believe me you’re going to have just as many people rejecting you as accepting you for preaching the gospel of Christ you understand that if you’re looking for an easy road in this end result of the processing plan forget it people are going to be after you are you there and you can measure your closeness to God by the opposition.
Scripture in this part
Mark 6:4-5 (NKJV)
But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.
— Mark 6:4-5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 24:28 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 10:36 (NKJV)
and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’
— Matthew 10:36 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 25:50 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What message did Jesus send the twelve to preach?
Short answer: In Mark 6:7 he called the twelve again and sent them two by two with power over unclean spirits, and they preached that men should repent. He says our major message is “repent,” that grace and faith do no good if you do not change your life, and God backs up the message of repentance with authority.
▶ 26:39 He raised a 12y old from the dead 12y old. Kid all right of an of a important. Man wasn’t a seeker of God like Cornelius and fasting and praying and just come and said hey is there anything you do for my child and Jesus healed that noble man’s. Child now after making them showing them authority teaching them he sends them with authority to preach heal and cast out devils Mark 6:7 he called unto him the 12 again here’s the third. Calling now this time he’s sending them. Follow. Me be with.
▶ 27:34 Me. Okay come to me and he began to send them forth two by two and gave them power over unclean. Spirits they went out and preached that men should what repent what is our major message. Folks. Repent not grace and faith repent grace and faith doesn’t do anybody any good if you don’t change your life if they don’t change the way you talk they don’t change the way you walk they don’t change the way you treat people get rid of this grace and faith cake coating that’s hiding a spoiled cake inside it’s got worms but the icing looks. Good.
▶ 28:29 And if the church wants power what message have they got to start. Preaching. Hello he backed up the message of repentance not the message of a 12 step program to recover out of alcohol or divorce he backed up with authority the message of repent confess your sins God is faithful to cleanse and forgive you your sins but you got to repent you got to turn from those sin and if you don’t teach that there’s no authority going to be in the church is that. Good so a church every one of us has a responsibility if we want a New Testament church we all got to take responsibility to get into his processing factory.
Scripture in this part
Mark 5:41-42 (NKJV)
Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.
— Mark 5:41-42 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 26:41 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Mark 6:7 (NKJV)
And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.
— Mark 6:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:15Mark 6:12 (NKJV)
So they went out and preached that people should repent.
— Mark 6:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:49 (quoted; reference not named in the message)1 John 1:9 (NKJV)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
— 1 John 1:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:56 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Do you need a prophet to tell you your place in God, and who does the work?
Short answer: He says you do not need a prophet telling you that; the Bible tells you. He says God may grant miracles in one place and not another, and we must be as committed when he is not doing anything as when he is; Jesus did the calling, making and teaching, and then did it through them, without the dramatics.
▶ 29:28 And get made to be the person in his body he wants us to be and you don’t need a prophet telling you that. Amen. Amen. All right. the Bible tells you that remember Paul did miracles in some cities other cities he went to no miracles why because God didn’t grant it and this is what the church can’t stand that God may grant something one place and at one time and not grant it another it’s his business it’s his schedule it’s his purpose and we just need to what stick with. Him we got to be just as committed to God when he’s not doing anything as when he.
▶ 30:25 Is now the important thing is you should have learned that who did it all Jesus he did the calling he did the making he did the teaching he did it all folks that’s why it’s so important from the time we enter that door that our focus is on Jesus Christ because he’s the one that’s going to do it. All. Hallelujah he did it all with them and then he did it through them. When I was in Africa just while I was preaching people would get healed believe me it had nothing to do with me I doubted it when I saw what was happening I challenged it I went down there I you know me I got me in question I want to get to the bottom of this and the bottom line is during that service whether it was the worship part or the word part God came and you got 2 3 5,000 10,000 people out there and God just come you can’t have a line for 10,000.
▶ 31:29 People and he just come and touch people and they had been taught by that church because of the structure God had to come forward at the end and let them know what God did and so man you had tremendous healings going on. Salvations and uh uh healing of the mind healing the emo just just God doing it are you there. See he’s God he can do it through us without the dramatics as they spent time with him and were taught by him that is important he did it.
More questions this message answers
Short answers drawn only from what he says in this message, each with the moment in the video.
Can you go through Jesus’ processing plan at home?
He says you cannot get it at home or in home Bible studies unless that home Bible study is the gathering together of the church; what God is doing he will do in his church.
Who decides who becomes an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher?
He says Jesus Christ is still the deciding factor; he called unto him whom he would.
Scripture (NKJV)And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
— Mark 3:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:39
Should you tell God you are not worthy to serve him?
He says the disciples did not say “I’m not worthy” or point to their lives; they responded, “Jesus here I am, here I am, use me.”
Why is worship so important?
He says worship should give us a chance to spend time with Jesus and take on his nature; many who want to get into the ministry do not know how to worship or pray.
What does he look for when he visits other ministries?
He says he critiques to know whether people’s hearts are genuine or whether they have a hidden motive, such as wanting you to buy their books and follow their plan as the only plan.
Is it wrong to read the Bible through in a year?
He says there is nothing wrong with that, but you need to take time to say “God open my understanding.”
What does he say about millions of years and evolution?
He says when God said “let there be light” there was light, and when he spoke the plants and creatures came forth, with “no million year nonsense,” no evolution and no mutation.
Scripture (NKJV)Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
— Genesis 1:3 (NKJV) (quoted; reference not named in the message)▶ Hear it at 23:09
Is grace and faith enough without repentance?
He says grace and faith does not do anybody any good if they do not change their life, the way they talk, walk and treat people; he calls it icing on a spoiled cake.
Does God back up recovery programs or the message of repentance?
He says God backed up the message of repentance, not the message of a 12 step program, and if repentance is not taught there will be no authority in the church.
Does God do miracles in every place?
He says Paul did miracles in some cities and not others because God did not grant it; it is God’s business, schedule and purpose, and we just need to stick with him.
What happened when he preached in Africa?
He says people would get healed while he was preaching and it had nothing to do with him; he challenged it, and found God came during the worship or the word and touched people, with salvations and healings.
About this transcript
This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: Several passages are quoted without naming the reference (e.g. Matthew 4:19, John 15:16, Matthew 26:40, Mark 6:4); the linked references are the passages he is quoting. At 21:00 he says Jesus raised a 12-year-old; the account is in Mark 5:41-42 (Jairus’s daughter), which he describes without naming. The figures he gives for crowds in Africa (“2 3 5,000 10,000 people”) are as spoken. Select any time to jump to that moment on YouTube.
