Jesus' Goals — April 3, 2022: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Jesus came to call sinners to repentance, seek and save the lost, fulfill the law, serve and give His life, bring judgment, do the Father’s will and preach the gospel to the poor. A typical Jesus gathering does the same, and believers carry it on.

What does the woman at Jesus’ feet show?
Short answer: She washed His feet with tears and loved much—an expression of love as great as any words.
▶ 24:34 A woman. Came to Jesus. And sat. At his feet. Washed his feet with her tears. And dried them with the hairs of her head. Many criticized that he. Would let a sinner. Come to him. But Jesus replied these words. Unto thee. Her sins which are many. Are now. Washed away.
▶ 25:28 Forgiven. And put in the sea of eternity. You never served me critical ones you only know how to complain. But this woman. Knew the power of my love and the power. Of my name. I love you Lord. And I lived. To worship.
▶ 26:47 Take joy my ears. The scriptures on this woman are very powerful. She never said a sinner’s prayer. She never asked God the forgiver of her sins. She just came in as the songs we sang today. She just came in and loved him. And because she loved him.
▶ 27:41 That expression of love was just as great as any expression of words. And church as we sing this again. Don’t be afraid to sit at Jesus’s feet and love him don’t be afraid to cry before him don’t be afraid that he will uh not accept you as many as coming to me I will no wise cast out so our words are are are not the only thing we can bring to God we can bring our expressions of love and it works just as powerful as we sing this again close your eyes kneel or stand and just tell Jesus you love him. Worship.
▶ 28:51 You. O my soul rejoice. Take joy my let it be a sweet. Sweet sound. It is. I love you. And I live. My. Oh my soul.
▶ 29:54 Rejoice. Take joy. In one. Let it be a sweet. Sweet sound. Let it be a sweet. Sweet sound. In your ears. Let it be a sweet.
▶ 30:53 Sweet. Sound. Let it be a sweet. Sweet. So. Thank. Thank you Jesus. We. Love you.
▶ 31:50 Jesus Jesus. Oh. God while you were there speaking to. The religious people that you visited Jesus and the woman came in Lord you asked them. God who. Would be more grateful. Of forgiveness the one who has a bigger debt or a smaller debt and they answered you and they said a bigger debt of course. And Jesus Lord you turned to the woman and you said this woman. Is loved much. And God Lord we pray for our heart like that woman Jesus. Lord God where we show our love for you and we come into the church God when we live our daily life God when we are home with our families Jesus Lord that we show the love of God to you that we love you so much.
▶ 32:51 God we show appreciation for everything that you’ve done for us like that woman did Jesus. Lord that people would be asked the question what is what is he doing what is she doing why is she doing that. God oh God please we pray for our heart like this woman. Jesus. We love you this morning God and Lord we need to love you more. And she said I. I will pour out my an offering of love. And worship unto thee.
▶ 33:50 And she said I will wash thy pee with my tears. Of love. And worship unto thee. The hairs of my head. As an offering of love.
Scripture in this part
Luke 7:37-38 (NKJV)
And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
— Luke 7:37-38 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 24:34 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Luke 7:47 (NKJV)
Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”
— Luke 7:47 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 25:28 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is prayed?
Short answer: For a heart like that woman’s and a clean heart like David’s, and thanks for so rich a grace.
▶ 34:44 And worship unto. As an offering of love. And worship unto me. Let’s bow our heads this morning. And let’s. Just pray and ask God and give a heart like that woman a clean heart like David a heart like that woman to love God let’s lift up our voices together Jesus God we calling you this morning Jesus Lord we pray for a new heart Jesus like it says in the scriptures Jesus Lord our heart like this woman who will show forth your love your praise your glory Jesus Lord the people in the world would ask the question to to you what is this person doing Jesus is because we love you God we pray for a new heart a new mind a new spirit Jesus Lord we pray for your joy your peace it passes understanding Jesus Jesus Jesus.
▶ 36:14 God Lord that we show forth the world your praise Jesus God we pray for a new heart given to us like it says in your new covenant. Lord Jesus. To the next. Thank you Lord.
▶ 37:20 For saving. My soul we’ll sing this prayer together thank. You. For. Making me. Thank. You. For. Giving to me. Thy grace salvation. So rich. And. Great grace. So rich. And. Freed. There’s such a sweet presence in this place God Lord we thank you for your word your truth Jesus.
▶ 38:30 God it’s so powerful. God reminds us of how much you love us and reminds us that you’re there Lord to see us through that you’re the author and the finisher of our faith God I pray that you encourage us Christians in this room and those online Lord to fight the good fight Jesus to fight the fight to grow and God to fight the fight against the kingdom of darkness Jesus Lord Jesus we ask this in your precious name and we on you this morning you may find your seats. Here. Oh he is sweet I know.
▶ 39:26 Storm clouds may rise. Strong winds maybe. Is. Let’s sing it together. Clouds may rise. Strongest may blow. But I’ll tell the world.
What is this message part of?
Short answer: The series on what Jesus did not say, looking at a typical Jesus gathering and Christ’s goals.
▶ 40:22 Wherever I know. Series going called what did not Jesus say what Jesus did not say. And then God gave me this word. About a typical Jesus gathering. And. Uh I got five times more views on it. Than I did with what Jesus didn’t say so I figured I better continue this one.
▶ 41:18 A typical Jesus gathering a typical Jesus church service. Last in this last session we found that he went to people and people came to him and we found that he used believers not just apostles not just prophets not just the big titles and names but he used just believers these signs shall follow them that believe they will cast out devils they will speak in new languages they shall lay hands on the sick and the sick shall recover and I’ll protect them from any natural disaster in the earth. Those who preach the gospel. Who believe and preach the gospel if you believe and don’t preach he’s not obligated so today we’re going to continue we’re going to show you the goal of Christ what was Jesus’s mark the mark of the high calling of God the goal the objective what was his objective when he met with people or people came to him and met with him what was his message will be the next message and what was his method and our methods today is nothing close to his the.
What was Jesus’ first goal?
Short answer: Not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
▶ 42:38 Catholics have a method the protestants have a method the Jews have a method and Jesus has a method and so. Let’s look today at the mark the goal what was Christ’s goal. Number one I am not calm to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. He said I didn’t come to call the righteous now folks there is a group of Christians that belabor the scriptures all of sin and come short of the glory of God there’s none righteous no not one you can’t be perfect because we’re all sinners well Jesus said here there are righteous people he didn’t come to call them to repent. If you know your Bible you know in Luke chapter one that elizabeth and zachariah were blameless righteous before God perfect. Complete. And God did not ask them to repent.
▶ 43:32 And so Jesus is telling us there’s people that are living right on earth but I didn’t come for them I come to call sinners to repentance so when he had a meeting when he had a gathering one of his big objectives is to get sinners they that violate God’s laws. To stop violating God’s laws to turn and turn to God and do what’s right secondly the son of man has come to seek and save that which was lost now we know that the prodigal was lost after getting his inheritance and we know that many Christians. Lose their salvation and go back to the world after getting the inheritance of Jesus Christ and some other things of God are you with me. And Jesus said even though people harp about the unforgivable sin when you read the total Bible his blood is more powerful than the unforgivable sin.
▶ 44:32 There is no excuse. To neglect the Bible says so great of salvation. Amen but people that don’t know God and don’t really know the word they get these verses and they make churches out of them and doctrines out of them and without balancing out with the other side of God’s word so Jesus came to seek and save those prodigals the lost sheep he came to seek and save the love sheep the lost sheep might not have done anything but just stray away from the flock and stay away from the master it doesn’t say that allah sheep has to be sinning. But God wants them to walk come back into the foe where they can grow hallelujah but also he says you are the salt of the earth but if the salt has lost its savior for with shall it be salted it’s good for nothing to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men many of God’s people lose that effect that they have on the world that salt preserves that salt flavors that salt heals.
Scripture in this part
Luke 5:32 (NKJV)
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
— Luke 5:32 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 42:38 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Hebrews 2:3 (NKJV)
how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
— Hebrews 2:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:32 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What else did He come to do?
Short answer: To seek and save that which was lost.
▶ 45:37 When it’s used properly are you with me and us Christians can lose that savor. And Jesus says I’m going to come and seek out that. Which was lost and give it back to you amen. Third one I am come that they may enter. That they who enter by me and come that they might have life and that they might have life more abundantly God wants you to have a great life here on earth in the spiritual world eternal life and knowing him but he also wants you to have a great abundant life in the natural world he wants to bless your finances he wants to bless your health he wants to bless you and let you live a good happy comfortable life in the midst of being so persecuted and and mis uh treated by those who don’t want to serve God are you with me.
Scripture in this part
Luke 19:10 (NKJV)
for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
— Luke 19:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 45:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Did Jesus come to destroy the law?
Short answer: No—to fulfill it; He fulfilled the shadow laws and kept the civil laws.
▶ 46:40 Now this scripture really was quickened to me as a young Christian I didn’t worry about my future I didn’t worry about the Hillside Strangler or getting killed on the freeway or whatever God promised me life and life abundantly amen hallelujah. Now number four he came not to destroy the law. And the prophets but to fulfill. These people take Paul’s statement about we’re not under law we’re under grace way to an extreme that they throw out the law of God. The Bible says in Psalms 19:7 that the law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul what is wrong with laws that convert you. Convert you from wrong convert you to right nothing it’s the shadow laws that cannot save you and it’s your own laws that cannot save you you can’t make up doctrines and you know expect it to work it won’t work so a lot of people come to destroy the law today there are big groups.
▶ 47:53 That. Reject the laws of God. And Jesus said I didn’t come to end them I come to fulfill them and he did he fulfilled all the shadow laws he fulfilled all the civil laws by not breaking them he didn’t commit adultery he didn’t dishonor his parents he didn’t do these things and we are to fulfill them by what obeying them and not doing these things. Number five. The son of man came not to serve but to be served but to serve wow. Did you come this morning to serve. Did you come this morning to help in the kitchen to help clean up the bathroom to help clean up the sanctuary to move chairs if they needed to be did you come to serve did you come ready to serve your God by worshiping him praising him and that was a beautiful worship today there was a big distinction this morning between praise and worship worship is adoration praise is bragging about God.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 5:17 (NKJV)
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
— Matthew 5:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 47:53 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why did the Son of Man come?
Short answer: Not to be served but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
▶ 49:01 And I don’t know how you can get depressed bragging about God because there’s nothing depressing about God amen. It’s just beautiful that was this is just beautiful. And. Anyway we serve Christ by coming in and joining in it’s not the song leader’s job to do it it’s us all together. Serving God by praising him worshiping him when prayer time comes it’s our job to serve him by praying to him are you with me. The church needs a lot of servants the church can only accomplish what the body of Christ unites to do and we got to come. Like Jesus is to serve now we know Jesus was also served we know the women came and they gave him food and they cleaned his clothes and they and and people when they accepted the gospel they served him but Jesus didn’t come.
▶ 50:07 To. Be served he come to serve and church it’s a powerful message that he taught when he gathered the people together. Are you with me. But the second part of this the son of man came to give his life as a ransom for many. He died and paid the price these people that say you can’t do works because that’s earning your salvation how can I ever earn my salvation when he already paid the price I belong to him the Bible says you are not your own you’ve been bought with a price the blood of Christ the death of Christ he purchased me now I do works because I want to obey the master who purchased me the king who rules over me could that be an amen there is a lot of distorted teachings out there that are are hindering God’s people from growing and possessing the things of God he ransomed you folks and once you accept that and believe that you’re going to work for him you’re going to do good works because he requires them and it has nothing to do with earning salvation can I hear an amen.
Scripture in this part
Mark 10:45 (NKJV)
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
— Mark 10:45 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 50:07 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Did Jesus come for judgment?
Short answer: Yes—that the blind may see and those who think they see become blind; He publicly called out hypocrites.
▶ 51:28 Hallelujah. They twist Paul’s teaching. It’s horrible the unbelievers and the uh. Uh. Forgot kind of people the others were uh anyway. The fifth thing is he did he came for judgment. People say don’t get me don’t judge me they quote that verse don’t judge they should be judged well yeah if I’m going to judge you I gotta expect to line up with the same decision that I’m asking you and telling you God says to line up with. But Jesus said to judge righteous judgment and he came for judgment I came into this world they which see not might see they that are spiritual blind he came in his meetings to open their eyes to the spiritual world to eternal life to salvation from sin and those religious people that said they say.
▶ 52:32 But they weren’t seeing. He spoke words to rip them to help them see they are really blind so they can turn and what let him open their eyes to see isn’t that powerful. He came with judgment and he says the blind have no sin. But if you say you see you religious people you say you see you know what’s going on you know you’re going to heaven and you’re not. Your sin remains. And so he preached and he taught as we will find out next week the message. He also says if I judge my judgment is true if I judge my judgment is true and I have many things to say and to judge concerning you the crowd that he’s talking to I’m going to make judgments I’m going to make decisions about you in fact one of the decisions he made publicly was the scribes and the Pharisees.
▶ 53:37 He says you are hypocrites. He publicly said that oh you don’t talk like that Jesus does. If you want people to be saved if you want people to be ministered to that’s why he came you’re going to talk. To help them become a different person. My judgments are true. I have many things to say and to judge you the Pharisees and the scribes he said were hypocrites and they made two times more the children of hell. Than they themselves were he told the scribes who spent their life they were paid to study the scriptures one of the responsibilities was to memorize the torah the first four books of the Bible they had to memorize it and he says you’re going to hell.
Scripture in this part
John 9:39 (NKJV)
And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”
— John 9:39 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 51:28 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What saves?
Short answer: Not memorizing verses but accepting Christ’s package of salvation: believe, repent, confess.
▶ 54:34 You know memorizing verses. That won’t get you to heaven. You got to accept. Christ’s. Package of salvation. Believe on him to pay your price for your sin repent turn from your sin confess your sins confess him as Lord amen. Get water baptized do all this package. For salvation. And so he did. He confronted those that needed their eyes opened that thought their eyes were open can I hear an amen. Today we’re scared to death of offending people. In America. Anyway.
Whose will did Jesus do?
Short answer: Not His own but the will of Him who sent Him.
▶ 55:26 That is the fifth thing he came to do and that’s what he did. When people came to him for a meeting or he went to them for a meeting he addressed these five things. Okay number six John 6:38 I am come down from heaven now listen church he wasn’t just born of the virgin mary. He wasn’t just formed at that time the half the church world had this all wrong. He came down from heaven. He was already somebody up there. And God conceived. In mary a son that came down from heaven and lived in mary’s womb are you here.
▶ 56:20 Hallelujah. And he says I came down not to do my own will but the will of him that sent me folks we cannot do what we want to do. We’ve got to do what God wants us to do now that is the goals of Christ when he met with people isn’t that good. Yeah he wasn’t concerned about a lot of things we’re concerned with today. Let’s see what the goal of God was for Jesus basically the same thing Luke 4 verse 18 the spirit of the Lord is upon me for he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor the spirit of the Lord is the spirit of God God is the spirit so the spirit of the Lord is God the Holy Ghost is God there’s only one God. God the father is God God the Holy Spirit is God and God Jesus in the flesh is still God can I hear an amen and yes there is that dead body that immoral body when he rose from the grave sitteth the right hand of the father the body that God lived in to be emmanuel God with us on earth.
Scripture in this part
John 6:38 (NKJV)
For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
— John 6:38 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 55:26 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What was He anointed to do?
Short answer: Preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, set at liberty the bruised and preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
▶ 57:37 One God. Not three persons one God can I hear an amen. Hallelujah. Now he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor in spirit. He didn’t cast out the poor in spirit he come. To give preach the gospel to the ones that were spiritually blind. Okay or deprived they didn’t have a lot of the spirit they got how many know we need to grow in the spiritual things absolutely and it says God sent me. The spirit of God sent me all right to heal the brokenhearted to preach the gospel to the poor. To preach deliverance to the captives. The restoration of sight to the blind God wants to restore you if you have been led astray by religious doctrines or your own kind of beliefs God wants to restore you back to seeing the spiritual truth could that be an amen amen.
▶ 58:48 He come to sit at liberty God sent him to sit at liberty those that are bruised crushed by the calamities of life and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord today is the day of salvation from the time Jesus. Came to the time he comes back today is the day of salvation don’t tell me you’re not ready don’t tell me that people I’m not ready. Today is the acceptable time of the Lord today’s the day of salvation it’s done everybody’s ready. Amen. And so God sent Jesus to do basically what Jesus said he came to do and then in John 3:17 God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world to punish the world and he didn’t he’s going to do that when he returns.
▶ 59:41 And just before he returns. But that the world might be saved through him the same thing Jesus said I come to save that which was lost I come to save the sinner to turn from his sins. In John 7:16 my doctrine is not mine but his that sent me Jesus said I only teach what the father said to teach and where did he get most of his teaching from. The Old Testament. Jesus quoted the Old Testament over and over and over and then he added enlightenment that was hidden in the Old Testament by saying I’m going to speak things that have been hidden. Since the foundation of the world and they are in the Old Testament you just couldn’t see him until he began to speak them.
Scripture in this part
Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV)
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
— Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 57:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 3:17 (NKJV)
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
— John 3:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 59:41 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why fear works?
Short answer: Prayer and worship are works; Jesus said I must work the works of Him who sent Me.
▶ 1:00:37 Amen shouldn’t we only be speaking the words of God. Not our own opinions. I must work the works of him that sent me man half the church world is scared to death of works. You know I don’t know about you but I had to work when I got saved. I had they invited me up to the altar that was for a timid kid that’s a killer. But I went to that altar that took work. And then the guy that led me to Christ. Had me read the scriptures to salvation and that took work. And then I had to ask God to forgive me and I had to confess my sins that took work are you with me why are we so afraid of works.
▶ 1:01:32 Prayer if you pray that’s a work when you came in this morning and praised God and worshiped him that’s a work. Amen why are we scared to death it is our own works what we say will work for us that won’t work and it’s the works of wickedness that won’t work at all those works are dead works that lead to hell. Okay the the works of God. Let your light so shine before men that maybe see your good work you doing God’s works cause the world to see without you speaking they see a difference. Now so let’s don’t be as afraid of works.
▶ 1:02:23 The shadow laws is what Paul was talking about the Bible says they could never save they could never forgive you their sins they were there to. Give you an example of the good things that were coming through Jesus Christ. Now here is. The kicker. Jesus said to God he’s praying. And this is his prayer. Father as you have sent me into the world and we just found out how the father sent him and we found out what Jesus’s. Uh goals and objectives were as you have sent me into the world even so also I send them.
Scripture in this part
John 9:4 (NKJV)
I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
— John 9:4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:00:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Who carries on His work?
Short answer: All believers—Jesus prayed for those who would believe; Paul preached immediately after conversion.
▶ 1:03:19 Whoa. Whoa so when we come to church we’re supposed to be doing the same things that Jesus did. Could that be an amen. When we have people inquiring of us out there whether we go directly like I did door-to-door. And uh witnessing and fast food places and all that the jails and the prisons or they come to you at work and they ask you the hope that you have in you. You have the same. Power working behind you to speak words of salvation to them to turn the sinner from their sin to restore sight to the blind to heal the broken heart you have that and I’m going to show you that he isn’t just talking about his apostles here.
▶ 1:04:15 He’s talking about that good word believer I do not pray for these alone he’s I don’t just not asking this for the apostles. But also for those who believe how many of our believers today hallelujah those online raise your hand if you’re a believer. Okay. You believe through the word preach just like all of us and he. Is telling us as Christ was sent into the world that’s the same way we are sent. But we’ve got to do it his way he was sent specifically to do certain things and that’s what we got to do. Remember. Paul whose name was saw before.
▶ 1:05:10 Was persecuting the church and then he got converted. And as a baby Christian the Bible said a baby Christian he went out immediately and preach that Jesus Christ was the son of God and this is what all believers can do they can preach that Jesus Christ was the son of God born of a virgin preached the kingdom of God did miracles laid down his life because no one could take it rose again for us to have eternal life and our sins forgiven ascended unto the father and coming back every one of us can preach that message I remember back when I was a very young Christian maybe two years old I met the Barnes’s in their apartment. He was a lean mean marine back then. And he had one of his marine buddies.
▶ 1:06:03 In the apartment. And his buddy had questions about the Bible and I answered every one of them. And after that guy left mr Barnes says man I want to know the Bible like that church all I did was learn the basic stuff that counts. Christ born of a virgin forgive you of your sins deliver you from your sins and there’s nothing he can’t forgive you from and it sets people free you don’t have to know Moses is tabernacled and and all this stuff. Are you with me. The gospel. All right. And that’s what Paul priest said besides that when he was old guess what he said I preached Christ and him crucified he didn’t say I preached grace and grace crucified he didn’t say I preached faith and faith crucified.
▶ 1:07:02 Okay he said I in his old age I preached Christ and him crucified amen that still the power. That saves people and maintains the church. Can I hear an amen still the same word. And then he goes on to say this prayer. Father. Make them one as you and I are one unite them here is that unity again remember this message the power was in the unity of the believers. When we unite in praise prayer the words serving each other whatever we’re doing. There is power there. And he said Lord you make him one as me and you are one. And that’s a big example to live up to that the world may believe here it is his whole objective is to get the unsaved world the unlearned world to believe.
▶ 1:08:07 And know that God has sent Jesus Christ to this earth to set people free to get bring them the knowledge of salvation and give them eternal life amen. Amen and that’s the love of God see the gift of God is not salvation. The gift of God is Jesus Christ. Who bought our salvation. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And you got to do something for that salvation you got to confess your sin you got to repent from your sin so it’s not a free gift. Jesus is the free gift.

For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
— 1 Corinthians 2:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:07:02 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What can we unite around?
Short answer: Restoring the lost and serving—in children’s church, youth and the assembly.
▶ 1:09:00 He paid the price for you think about it. Now. As we come and sing. Oh it’s pretty late. Well we’ll stand five minutes singing the river all right as we come and sing. The river song I asked you this morning. Can we unite around. The goals that Jesus came in this world to reach and obtain can we unite around God’s goals. For sending Jesus to this earth can we unite when it’s time to pray pray can we unite when it’s time to praise and worship the praise and worship can we unite and fast him and u9 in a symbol together we may not want to come to church but we come because it’s obedience to the father can we unite around the word that God spoke not our doctrines not what we believe people always say well I believe well it doesn’t matter what you believe it matters what God tells us to believe can we unite and sing by the spirit.
▶ 1:10:16 Speak by the spirit prophesy by the spirit pray by the spirit in our services so God can liberate people. Can we unite about God restoring. That which was lost the blinded eyes that can’t see the gospel preached to the poor can we unite around true judgment we can’t let the world put us in fear because we got to make decisions that are right is that right amen we’ve got to unite. To liberate the crush to set the captives free to heal the brokenhearted and to give the people in the church abundant life in the spirit world eternal life and in this world God wants to bless you with finances and health he wants you to have a joyful time here on earth in the midst of all the tribulation the mistreatment and abuse that they’re going to give you for being a real Christian amen.
▶ 1:11:24 And can we unite around serving. You send your kids to children’s church do you ever ask the children search the leader is there anything I can do to help. Just an example youth group. Parents. Send their kids to a youth thing but they never ask is there anything. We can do to help you minister to our kids. Are you with me there is 75 percent of Christians out there that do not go to church. And their excuses are just full of hypocrites and all that well that just made you a hypocrite. Isn’t that right yeah.
▶ 1:12:18 Sure there’s going to be people in the church at different stages but the Bible says to assemble together. Whether they teach your doctrines or not we need to assemble together so we can all come into the unity of the faith isn’t that right the unity of the doctrines and church. If you will commit yourself. To God’s goals for Christ and Christ’s goals when he meets with people will you stand and let’s sing this song in closing. To the river. I am blowing. Raisins I cannot. Bear. Lord I need to meet you.
