Pastor David G. Kincer teaches that Jesus, the Holy Ghost and the gospel can only be accepted or rejected. From 1 Corinthians 12–14, the Spirit manifests through each member for the profit of all, in order. Love is the more excellent way, and every member should come prepared with a psalm, teaching, revelation or prayer, so unbelievers will say God is truly among you.

Can we debate Jesus, the Holy Ghost and the gospel?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: No. You cannot debate, dispute or negotiate with them. You can only accept or reject them.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 Are you ready for a serious message this is a liberating message this is a very important message that every church should be operating in including ours are you ready. First we’re going to start off with a statement you cannot choose to debate argue with dispute disagree with or compromise negotiate with the truth of Jesus Christ the Holy Ghost baptism and the gospel there is no negotiation there is no arguments there is no [unclear] the only thing you can do with these three things.

What happened to those who resisted the Spirit?

▶ Watch this part (0:54)

Short answer: Acts 7:51: Stephen said they always resist the Spirit. Isaiah 63:10: they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit, and God fought against them.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:54 Is. Choose to accept or reject them that’s the only two choices you have. God doesn’t listen to your debates he doesn’t listen to your questions he doesn’t listen to your [unclear] he’s waiting for you to respond you see there was two powerful events that were prophesied in the Old Testament the coming of Jesus Christ was the first one born of a virgin did miracles preach the gospel of the kingdom died on the cross rose again and ascended into heaven when he ascended God sent the baptism of the Holy Ghost [unclear] upon the earth [unclear] upon the church and that’s the event we are in now [unclear] pouring the baptism of the Holy Spirit the spirit within us not the spirit with us are you with me okay and we can’t argue this stuff and that’s what American churches are doing they’re just arguing about [unclear] questioning it and everything else and you don’t have you don’t have that choice you either accept it or you’re rejecting it for instance in Acts 7 5 you stubborn uncircumcised in heart and ears you always resist the spirit as your father’s did he’s talking to the Jews that opposed the message of Christ that opposed this is Stephen talking all right he says

▶ 2:24 your father’s your forefathers. they resisted rejected the Holy Spirit. Okay got that what happened if they rejected the Holy Ghost we go back to the Old Testament in Isaiah 63:10 they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit so God turned himself against them. As an enemy. He fought against them. Now do you want God opposing you. Then let’s quit arguing about and disagreeing with Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost and the gospel could that be an amen yeah [unclear] quit questioning it and let’s just get on board all right because we don’t want God [unclear] and what did God do to oppose them he brought famine economic downturns he brought wars.

What will judge those who reject Jesus?

▶ Watch this part (3:32)

Short answer: John 12:48: the word he spoke will judge them in the last day. It is irrevocable—you can’t bargain with God.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:32 Okay enemies coming in and invading their land he brought plagues and sicknesses and he brought acts of God beasts killing people and earthquakes and so forth and even today even the American church don’t recognize when God is dealing with people. Now let’s continue here in John 12:48 he who rejects me Jesus said and he who does not receive or rejects my words that’s the gospel the word will judge him in the last day. now this is an irrevocable [unclear] you can’t change that you can’t argue with that you can’t debate that and you can’t negotiate with it you can’t bargain with God.

Is repentance a suggestion?

▶ Watch this part (4:27)

Short answer: No. Mark 7:9: they rejected God’s commandment for their tradition. Acts 17:30: God commands all men everywhere to repent—“you got to turn or you’re gonna burn.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:27 Could that be an amen. This is irrevocable unchangeable you reject Christ you’re gonna be judged in the last day not Jesus the Bible says in John 1:1 in the beginning was the word the word was with God and the word was God and the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory as the only begotten son of God Jesus so the word is not just the gospel it’s also Jesus Christ Jesus and his word will judge you in that last day and. you can argue and question and negotiate all you want. but you either reject it or you accept it amen. Now. In. Mark 7:9 you reject God’s commandment so you may keep your own tradition your own.

▶ 5:21 Customs your own opinions your own man’s doctrines and you reject the commandment a commandment is not a suggestion people act like God is suggesting for us to do things he’s not suggesting he’s commanding and when you reject the commandment to. Keep your own opinion your own beliefs. Let me give you an example Acts 17:30 God commands all men how many men all men everywhere including California and the state legislatures that is messing up the state they need to repent. they are our leaders [unclear] really destroying California.. Then the Bible says that your leaders cause you to err all right everybody needs to repent they need to turn from your sin you need to admit you’re wrong you need to turn from the wrong so God can cleanse you and forgive you and deliver you from that sin okay how many people need to repent all people nobody’s excluded there is no negotiation there is no compromise.

Mark 7:9 (NKJV)

He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

— Mark 7:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:14
Scripture (NKJV)

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,

— Acts 17:30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:50

How do the four kinds of law differ?

▶ Watch this part (6:40)

Short answer: Breaking civil laws on things like adultery and homosexuality are “hell sins.” Spiritual laws like tithing bring consequences but not hell. Shadow and wise laws work similarly.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:40 Or you will be judged with justice with righteousness by Jesus at the appointed day the last day if you don’t repent okay you feel sorry for your sin that’s wonderful but you need to turn from the sin you. Believe that it’s a sin that’s wonderful but you need to what turn from the sin and God gives you time to turn. But you got to turn or you’re gonna burn that’s the statement and it’s irrevocable. You can’t come with other scriptures and negate this scripture now we know that there are civil laws wise laws shadow laws and spiritual laws in the Bible civil laws are there to protect you from people hurting you stealing your goods killing you robbing you whatever isn’t that right.

▶ 7:44 Adultery and homosexuality and all sexual immorality is under civil laws and they are hell sins you go to hell for doing them. Okay spiritual laws like tithing you won’t go to hell if you don’t tithe you just don’t rebuke the devourer tithing rebukes the devourer in your life and you can use all the excuses you want you can negotiate with God but if you don’t tithe the devourer has a right to come in with sickness diseases and financial problems and everything else in your life and you can pray till doomsday this is not a prayer principle it is a tithing principle are you there. you see and you won’t go to hell if you don’t tithe it’s a spiritual law. yes [unclear].

▶ 8:38 Shadow laws point to the truth if you don’t kill a lamb and shed its blood for your sins you know you’ve done nothing wrong you don’t go to hell for that but when you don’t accept the lamb of God Jesus you go to hell for that. Jesus is not the shadow law the lamb being slain was the shadow law that pointed to Jesus are you with me and we got to understand that there’s four different laws in the Bible a wise law is the fool spends always [unclear] but the wise man saves up for problems tomorrow it’s a wise law you don’t go to hell if you don’t save your money and handle your money right you just having a lot of financial problems in right here on earth isn’t that right now [unclear].

▶ 9:30 All right wise laws prepare yourself in the field then come and build your house before you get married be financially prepared you don’t go to hell for that you just have a lot of [unclear] a lot of problems a lot of burdens to bear because you didn’t [unclear] you understand church all right how many of you know there is hell sins besetting sins [unclear] sins hurt other sins and sins against God. a besetting sin is a sin that hinders you from reaching the goal a besetting sin is you’re so encumbered with the world that you don’t have time for God that’s a besetting sin you don’t reach your goal working family leisure and all that keeps you away from pursuing the goal that’s a besetting it’s a hindrance sin you don’t go to hell for it you just pay a price for it are you with me have you learned something already yes.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Malachi 3:11 (NKJV)

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts;

— Malachi 3:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:02 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What did the Pharisees reject?

▶ Watch this part (10:34)

Short answer: Luke 7:30: they rejected the counsel of God, refusing baptism. The gospel is one package—believe, be baptized, repent and receive the Holy Ghost.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 10:34 All right. this is irrevocable you cannot change that then in Luke 7:30 the Pharisees and the scribes rejected the counsel of God against themselves not being water baptized neither did they believe if you read on neither were they baptized in the Holy Ghost they didn’t believe in Jesus they didn’t get water baptized and if you reject any one of those you’re rejecting the gospel. isn’t that right the gospel is believe on Jesus get water baptized turn from your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost it’s all one package. Amen. Now.

▶ 11:26 With that introduction. [unclear] the Holy Ghost has a powerful part and what God’s doing it is important that you understand God’s position the father’s position of things the Son’s position on things and the Holy Ghost they’re all three important and they’re all three God there isn’t three gods there’s one God expressing himself in three different ways just like I am a father I am also a son and I’m also a husband and each one of those titles I have a responsibility to fulfill God is the father God is the son and God is the Holy Ghost and in each one he is fulfilling a responsibility and a promise that he gave to his people isn’t that right [unclear]. now.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Luke 7:30 (NKJV)

But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.

— Luke 7:30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:34

Who does the Spirit manifest through?

▶ Watch this part (12:20)

Short answer: First Corinthians 12:7: each one—every member, not just one special minister—“for the profit of all.” Not cliques, kitchen prophecies or special-revelation groups.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 12:20 How the Holy Spirit works in a church service. And he works to a measure in our worship service today and that prophetic exhortation was preparing for this message. You see you know when God’s moving when things build on each other the Holy Spirit isn’t confused he doesn’t bring one subject and go to another subject and whatever he keeps ascending. Amen. Are you wanting to learn how the Holy Spirit works in a church service you should because he’s the key to a successful church service.

▶ 13:16 Not you. Not some dynamic minister he’s the key. We’re going to go to first Corinthians 12 verse 7. The manifestation the expression of the spirit is given to each one say it with me each one each one not one person got it all each member gets to experience the manifestation of the spirit and it goes with the Bible I will pour out my spirit on all flesh not just special people. It goes with mark these signs shall follow them that believe. Believers can speak in new tongue believers can cast out demons believers can lay hands on the sick and they will recover not just apostles not just prophets not just evangelists not some special person but believers all flesh are all of you in the flesh here this morning yeah I hope so I don’t see any ghosts out there then you’re a candidate for the Holy Ghost to use you in a church service is

▶ 14:37 That an amen do you know did you come this morning prepared for that no you didn’t. You crawled out of bed and you hurried up and you got ready and you quarrelled with each other and everything else and then you came to church and then you put on this hallelujah. Didn’t get up this morning and seek God for what he wanted to do in this church service. Alleluia. but now [unclear] you’re gonna tune in through the week and all that is God gonna use me now it’s important to know he goes on to say for the profit of all if it’s not profiting the whole church it’s not the spirit [unclear] it isn’t one person over there [unclear] the good spirit’s on me it’s not the one-person issue it’s got to profit the whole church it’s not a clique a clique is in every church a little small group that’s the [unclear].

▶ 15:47 you know the deeper life movement the special Revelation group that they try to recruit people in outside the church service. Every church has them. It’s not the cliques it’s the whole church when God’s got something to say he’s going to say it to the whole church all the church can I hear an amen no special Revelations no kitchen prophecies no little groups getting together with some special message or special anointing it is all profit or it’s not the Holy Ghost doing it you agree with that and this is where Pentecostals and charismatics really blundered and I.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 12:7 (NKJV)

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

— 1 Corinthians 12:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:27

How are the gifts distributed?

▶ Watch this part (16:42)

Short answer: To one the word of wisdom, to another knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues and interpretation. No one has all nine.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 16:42 Can talk about that because I grew up in them I got saved in them and I had to grow through that nonsense and get into the mainstream. Are you there so it’s [unclear] okay for [unclear] to talk about the Pentecostals and the charismatics [unclear] if you weren’t one of them so don’t you go out here criticizing Pentecostals and the charismatics their problems are no less than the Baptists and the fundamentals and the Catholics we all got our little traditions our little customs don’t we yes. Alleluia but we got to get through this and then he says to one is given by the spirit the word of wisdom see the spirits given to each one to one church member in the service is given the word of wisdom you never hear the word of wisdom in a church service in America and all the churches I’ve visited I never hear a word of wisdom I hear tongues I hear an interpretation I

▶ 17:54 Hear a prophecy but I never hear a word of wisdom and it’s the number one and the word gift there is simply ability it isn’t like a birthday gift it’s ability are you there do we need wisdom in the church yes where are they [unclear] let me say that statement to another not this one another one knowledge to another one not this one faith to another one healings miracles prophecy discernment of spirits tongues and interpretation and every time he says to another to this one I’ll do this to this one I’ll do that to this one I’ll do this to this one I’ll do that eight times not this one’s gonna have all the nine gifts I was in a church service when a guy stood up and had the audacity to walk up front and say God has given me all the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit I say you don’t even have the gift of love yeah love would not get up there and brag about itself he got nothing and the pastor let him do it.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 12:8-10 (NKJV)

for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

— 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:26 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Why don’t congregations participate?

▶ Watch this part (19:04)

Short answer: They’ve been taught the man or woman of God has the answers. Leaders feel threatened, so members become “a fan in the stands,” not players on the field.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 19:04 you do that in my church what happens I should say that’s not my [unclear] you do that in this [unclear] you’ll be set down really quick. Amen. Folks. We have been taught by radio tv ministers that the man or woman of God has the answers for you we have been taught by pastors and evangelists that they have the answers for you and even if they didn’t teach it our mentality goes I need a man and woman of God I need somebody and

▶ 19:57 We don’t see that when we come together in a church service that all of us can be used of God and so we don’t come to be used we come for the man or woman of God to do their thing isn’t that right you know it’s right. We got to break that thing and it’s so easy because we don’t have a responsibility you can do anything before church on Saturday [unclear] three or four o’clock in the morning [unclear] doing whatever we want to do and then you know drag in the church I’m doing my duty no a church member comes prepared to be used of God even if they’re not used that day they come ready to be used of God and one of these nine expressions.

▶ 20:52 Could that be a good amen yeah. Now this is a threat to pastors. they want to be in control this is a threat to tv ministers this is a threat to radio ministers especially the bigger church the bigger the threat and so what do they do they block out all of these things from the congregation the congregation can’t do anything and the congregation in America is just brainwashed into coming and being a fan in the stands and not playing the game on the field. Could that be an amen we’re programmed and the bigger the church the more you’re programmed the display of the Holy Spirit is what we need in a church service by way of all member participation.

How many should prophesy or speak in tongues?

▶ Watch this part (22:01)

Short answer: At most two or three, in order. God doesn’t need to keep talking; members should still come prepared.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 22:01 is that a true statement yeah because that’s what he’s telling us here [unclear] yeah now also the members have got to know that you prophesy or speak in tongues or whatever two at the most by three that’s why you see when I ask people to pray I may ask for no more than three. It isn’t everybody oh [unclear] I’ll prophesy here a prophecy there tongue here and a tongue there no out of two or three witnesses will everything what be established God is wanting to say something he’s wanting to amplify it he’s wanting to broaden it and challenge us it only takes three expressions to get the Job done God isn’t some idiot up there that’s got to keep talking a

▶ 22:53 wise man is a man of few [unclear] is God wise yes you don’t need to keep rambling on so you can have your little chance to prophesy or speak in tongues oh yeah I’m waiting for my [unclear] now except when God’s initially pouring out the Holy Ghost when God’s initially pouring out the Holy Ghost on a group they can all speak in tongues they can all prophesy it is an initial baptism of the Holy Spirit okay but in a church service we got to build and edify the church is that a good amen does this make sense to you absolutely. But see this also put some responsibility on you. It’s not just the pastor it’s got to come prepared now you got to [unclear] that even if he doesn’t use you you got to be ready.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 14:27-29 (NKJV)

If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge.

— 1 Corinthians 14:27-29 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 22:33 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What is the main ingredient?

▶ Watch this part (23:57)

Short answer: Members having the same care for one another. Job’s captivity turned when he prayed for his friends. Love is the more excellent way to the gifts.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 23:57 Here’s the kicker you guys know what a kicker is all right here is the main ingredient right here all the members have the same care one for another the same concern so you go to a church you should go to a church because God placed you there that’s Bible. God said every member in the body as it pleases him God puts you in a church and he puts you there and he gives you a concern a care for the people. You may not want to come to church on Sunday but you do because you care for the other members you’re concerned about their growth and development you’re concerned about them not just yourself how many of you know Job’s captivity wasn’t turned until he prayed for his friends.

▶ 25:00 see [unclear] the Holy Ghost is the spirit of God and God is love. So love motivates you to come prepared and come caring about the other church members not just you in your situation. Does that make sense and this is the kicker without this there is not going to be any spiritual gifts. Do you care for church members or are you just in it for yourself. That’s the first important ingredient. Do we agree with that that’s Bible do we need that care and we don’t have it we need to ask God to what give me that and not just the members of the church you’re going to you should care about the catholic people and the Baptist people and the Pentecostal people and the Jewish people.

▶ 26:10 that are members of the church of God [unclear] you can’t be an isolated church you got to be an isolated church connected with the rest of the church body you get it okay all right there’s no [unclear] thing here it’s not this church is better than that church [unclear] unconcerned about the church members I go to and as a church we are concerned about every other church and its members. Now that is the foundation of how these gifts work and that’s why they’re not working so much in America we don’t care for other people. And then in verse 31 he makes it very clear the more excellent way to obtain gifts of the spirit abilities of the spirit is love.

▶ 27:14 The more excellent way the superior way to get the gifts moving the spirit expressing himself in a church service is love and we just sing it this morning out of first John beloved let us love one another for love is of God and every one that loveth is born again of God he that loveth not doesn’t know God why love is the basic thing it’s the foundational thing for the spirit to come and move because you’re not doing things out of your own promotion your own self you’re doing it from a motivation of love that God has for people wow that was good. So it’s not about my ministry or my gifts it’s about God.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 12:25 (NKJV)

that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

Scripture (NKJV)

1 John 4:7-8 (NKJV)

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

— 1 John 4:7-8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:30 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Does believing you’re good make you good?

▶ Watch this part (28:14)

Short answer: No—a good spouse, parent or Christian follows the principles. “No lovey no gifties.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 28:14 Changing people’s lives and using me because I come prepared. Now. Let me say this statement to you. Spouses feel that they are a good spouse they believe they’re a good spouse because they believe they are. They believe they’re a good spouse because they believe in marriage. But their actions and words do not they’re not using the principles of a marriage. husbands love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. wives love your husband and respect them and say nothing.

▶ 29:08 Derogatory about them to anyone. Are you there see that’s the principles of [unclear] you don’t operate the [unclear] you can believe you are a good wife or good husband all you want but if you’re not following the principles of marriage you’re going out on your spouse you’re wasting the money of the home on drinking drugs or gambling or whatever you’re violating the principles of the marriage you’re not good I don’t care how many times you tell people I get on Facebook and I see all kinds of people boasting what a great wife they are and a great husband they are a great parent a great father a great mother you’re [unclear] not a great [unclear] father because you believe you are good father you’re a good father because you follow the principles of raising children anybody can have kids.

▶ 30:08 But not anybody takes on the responsibility to raise them be an example to them. [unclear] it works in Christianity a lot of Christians believe they are good Christians because they believe they are I mean I read the social media and I see people bragging all the time how great they are. And I know some of these people they’re not great. If they do one good thing they promote it to everybody they don’t bring out any of their faults and everybody thinks they’re this great person but anybody knows them no they’re not so great are you with me. Same way with christianity so many Christians think they’re good Christians and they don’t follow the rules of Christ.

▶ 31:08 Is that an amen and. love is the key here and love is the first requirement for a successful church service do we get that no lovey no gifties. God is love you cannot detour around God. now that is the superior way love so if we want God to move in a church service we got to develop love in our life both for [unclear] God Jesus his word and people and church members we got to have the same [unclear] care for the members of the church we go to amen.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Ephesians 5:25 (NKJV)

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

— Ephesians 5:25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:58 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What is the second requirement?

▶ Watch this part (32:00)

Short answer: First Corinthians 14:6: you must speak—by revelation, knowledge, prophesying or teaching. A prophecy he gave abroad restored a divided church.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 32:00 Do we get that do we need some changing yes. Verse six what shall I profit you remember the profit of all up here the spirit comes to profit all amen okay what shall I profit you except I speak here’s the second requirement for a successful church service you got to say something because the Holy Spirit doesn’t come to make you feel good and dance in the spirit and have that blessing he comes to talk. and I’ve preached this for decades don’t [unclear] say this is a new thing any of these old-timers have been around know I’ve told them for decades if you got a vision I don’t care about the angel or whatever you’ve seen what was the message if you say God came to you I don’t care about [unclear] what he did what was the message and the message will tell me whether it was God or not.

▶ 33:05 but we like the [unclear] I’ve seen an angel okay big deal you saw an angel what did he say. is that an amen and so when we come to church we got to use our mouth why do you think God chose the gift of languages in the whole baptism of Holy Ghost no man can bridle the tongue so God chose the very thing in our physical body that we can’t bridle to bridle it and use it for God isn’t that powerful yeah. We got to speak and then he tells us four venues to speak by. Revelation knowledge prophesying or teaching. Not just your opinion that’s got to be an expression of the Holy Ghost and Revelation knowledge prophesying and teaching let me give you an example I was in a third world country and I was in a church the church had about 200 or so people in it and that’s very unusual for a third world church where I was [unclear] was about 35 40 people.

▶ 34:18 Okay they invited me there I went there and when I entered the church and before the church started and the worship team got up was getting up there to lead worship. There were three young ladies beautiful young ladies there like 19 17 16 years old there just right for the pickings you know and the young teens almost filled the church with guys hoping to get one of these girls to marry them all right and because the guys were there for the girls and the three girls were the pastor’s daughters. All right and these girls not only were very good-looking I mean like my wife you know really good-looking and like your wife how many all of us men think our wives yeah yeah.

▶ 35:22 But these were they dress good they groomed well I mean [unclear] they really love Jesus I mean these girls were the real deal and any guy getting them that wanted to serve God would be getting a good wife and so these guys are in there hoping that it would be them and so who else comes the girls hoping to get a guy that doesn’t get one of the girls. Now that wasn’t Revelation that was just simply discernment by looking at the congregation so I asked the leader that was interpreting for me does this church believe in prophecy and they said yes I said okay I prophesied and got that message done see I learned in third world countries I can bring messages I can preach not only the word after the worship I can preach during the worship through tongues interpretation or through prophecy and so God dealt with that problem through prophecy then God says the message I gave you this morning is not the one to use now this is what you got to preach [unclear] started putting leadership scriptures in my heart and I started taking little notes you know I have these little papers back then when I use.

▶ 36:46 Paper clips to mark Bible pages that I need to flip to and I got these little notes to keep me on track and Barnes is always laughing at me but I’d get notes and I’d run it down the side because I didn’t have room and all the rest and I started taking these notes and I [unclear] preached this message on leadership and government of a church now I did not know at that time I didn’t know to the end of the service that that church was divided. That they wanted to get rid of the pastor and the father and mother of these three girls and when you have a congregational run church that’s exactly what [unclear] they don’t like something they can just ship you out and so the word of God brought unity back deliverance back powerful altar calls people weeping people repenting why because God gave me the Revelation I didn’t know that they were divided I didn’t know this was happening he revealed the message to me.

▶ 37:58 And that is what Revelation is you don’t know it’s just revealed to you knowledge is something you know prophesying is speaking by the inspiration of the spirit and then teaching is the ability to teach it’s not the office of a teacher is the ability to teach children’s church your teens or a senior citizens group or a convalescent hospital you can go and teach has nothing to do with the office of the teacher.

1 Corinthians 14:6 (NKJV)

But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?

What should each member bring?

▶ Watch this part (38:32)

Short answer: First Corinthians 14:26: a psalm, a teaching, a tongue, a revelation, an interpretation—all for edification and in God’s timing.

▶ 38:32 Verse 15 are you with me now you understand Revelation knowledge another one I was in another I was in the jungles of Salvador and after a service I always start preparing for the next service when I’m overseas okay and God did not give me [unclear] usually just like here I start preparing for next Sunday Sunday night God starts talking I started listening Sunday night and then through the week I pulled it all together God gave me nothing I got up in the morning I sought God in my Bible and prayer and the time and nothing came so during the day I got out all my notes that I brought because sometimes God will use that to quicken me nothing and so I went to the leaders and I said I got no message for tonight they said you better get one cuz you’re on and I said you don’t understand they said no you don’t understand you’re on and so it came time they loaded us in the truck and drove us out into the depths of the jungle and we get there and there’s about 200 250 people standing no place to sit there just standing.

▶ 39:47 They had a generator they put lights up so that people could see in all this and had a PA and I’m sitting there on stage and I said you know I still don’t have a message and the guy grins and says well you better get one because they’re announcing you right now. So I get up and I’m going through this phony thank you for inviting me and I’m killing time you know I’m getting ready to tell them folks God didn’t give me anything to say I did it in the church in La Habra I’ve got up several Sundays and said I don’t have a message for today we’re gonna go home. Yeah if God didn’t send something what do you want [unclear] talk. Amen yeah.

▶ 40:42 and in the La Habra church God was moving like he did here in this message and members would add through prayer and singing and speaking. Just in the worship service and many a time I would just get up and say we don’t need a message now church we already got one the old timers isn’t that true yes to show you that it works because the people come prepared. Hallelujah and so prayer is an important part of a church service isn’t that right I will pray in the spirit I will pray with understanding. It’s got to say something I will sing with the spirit and so that’s why we sing and that’s why we pray and that’s why we speak because these are the things the Holy Ghost uses to build his church in this crowd I saw two Mormon missionaries I recognized them right off and I greeted them and welcomed them and then the Holy Spirit dropped a verse into my spirit.

▶ 42:01 And I knew my Bible I mean I didn’t have all this computer Bible and all that back then but I read my Bible and studied so much I knew where everything was and what side of the page when I opened it and about where [unclear] down at the bottom or down at the top and I could go and I could find that scripture and I read that scripture and when I read that scripture bam God spoke to me about that scripture I’d never seen or heard of in my life. Totally Revelation and then he gave me another scripture and I go to [unclear]. bam the revelation of that scripture built on the Revelation of this scripture and I spoke a truth I had never seen and I spoke a truth I never heard anybody preach and then my knowledge of the Bible took over and then.

▶ 42:57 Speaking by the inspiration. Prophetically took over all right and at the end of that folks. People were healed physically people were healed of broken hearts people addicted to sin were set free I mean everything happened at the end and the people were just so excited just really excited and they want to honor you because you’re the messenger that is something the church has got to stop doing because God used a donkey doesn’t make the donkey anything special is that an amen but these people were coming up to me just oh my God yeah and I go whoa whoa whoa.

▶ 43:52 You know you don’t do that but you see that’s Revelation and waiting on God allowed him [unclear] testing to see if I was going to wait on him or I was gonna pull something out to look good in front of the people. And believe me folks I had a lot of good messages and I could pull out a lot of good ones that God had given me but it wasn’t what the spirit was saying to the church and how many of you know we need to speak what the spirits saying to the church is that an amen yeah so is prayer important my little selfish prayer or [unclear] spirit praying big difference. Singing. Do I just come in with the latest Christian song no you come in with the song that the Holy Ghost wants to use to touch people.

▶ 44:52 We can come with Psalms hymns and spiritual songs isn’t that right in fact just a few Sundays ago God gave me a spiritual song right over there to show you that spiritual songs work he gave me a tongue and interpretation to show you that tongues and interpretation still work in the church service [unclear] you remember those services yeah. Tongues aren’t out because people don’t believe in tongues tongues just have to come in the right order. Amen. Now. When you come together each of you what each of you what each of you you don’t come to hear the mighty man and a woman of God you come prepared for God to use you if you have a Psalm a Psalm is a scripture put to music okay.

▶ 45:52 A teaching which was up here a tongue a language don’t be scared of tongues church let’s just keep it in order is that an amen a Revelation that was up here and a what interpretation and if there is no interpretation shut up. the problem is we’re shutting up and we need everything done let all things be done for edification the profit of all as it’s set up here if it’s not profiting the whole church it’s not of the spirit. Hallelujah. So each one of us let all things be done for edification each of you come prepared and let me just say this God gave me a vision [unclear] a couple of weeks three weeks ago.

▶ 47:02 the Bible says your old men [unclear] dreams your young men [unclear] visions and you know okay and so God gave me a vision and I told you I would bring it the next Sunday because the service was full three things had already been done but the next service he didn’t release me to give you that vision it’s a good vision it’s powerful it’ll change your life when we get it and. so after a couple of weeks I [unclear] complain to God you know. people are anxious to [unclear] hear this and you’re not releasing he says they need to learn because I give them something doesn’t mean the timing is there to do it I go oh yeah I forgot that there is a time for everything I’ve got many uh prophecies a month two months even a year before I could ever give them in a church for edification exhortation and comfort just because you get something doesn’t mean you do it in the church the church has to be in order it’s got to be mannerly the church service has to be well organized and mannerly done and just because you got something from God does not mean that it’s time to give it and that’s something very important I said thank you Lord man [unclear] he’s always right you ever noticed that he’s always right.

▶ 48:30 Alleluia. So. If it’s not profiting everyone before you say anything and do anything that’s the testing point is this going to profit and benefit the whole church or am I on my little hobby horse that I want to tell the church to agree with me on. And I learned as a pastor how to keep that service in order and when big mouths and attention getters spoke up I knew how to distract away the attention from them and I still know how all right now I’m not that old yet.

1 Corinthians 14:15 (NKJV)

What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.

Scripture (NKJV)

How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

— 1 Corinthians 14:26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:27 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What happens when all prophesy by the Spirit?

▶ Watch this part (49:24)

Short answer: First Corinthians 14:24–25: an unbeliever is convinced, the secrets of his heart revealed; he falls on his face, worships God and reports that God is truly among you.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 49:24 Are we gonna take responsibility to come to church prepared because we [unclear] care for people. In closing the goal of the Holy Spirit in each church member. if all what prophesy prophecy is speaking by the inspiration of the spirit praying by the inspiration of the spirit singing by the inspiration of the spirit and loving by the inspiration of spirit if all of us do these things by the spirit and there.

▶ 50:06 Come in one that believes not or one unlearned he is convinced of all and judged of all judged of all what all that speak by the inspiration of the spirit sing by the inspiration of the spirit pray by the inspiration of the spirit and loved by the inspiration of the spirit and what are these guys convinced of and judged of the word judged here is evaluated examined it’s not judged trial and condemned it’s an evaluation and so [unclear] because we’re doing it by the spirit it is the spirit John says that convinces of sin righteousness and judgment right so it’s not us at all it’s us being used of the spirit and the spirit convinces and lets this unbeliever know he’s an unbeliever lets this unlearned person know he’s unlearned.

▶ 51:13 let me [unclear] that works and we don’t need somebody come on over with a Bible we [unclear] I experienced that a lot in spiritual churches. But I tell you I kept going to spirit filled churches because they were looking for God and the presence of God was there 90% of the time and what they did with it was another thing but I wanted God and the fundamental churches weren’t even looking for God. Amen and they had their own problems but anyway I was in a church it was a holiness Pentecostal church and the guy got up there and I knew what he was going to do before he you know I’m a minister I’m a guy that knows the body [unclear] tell what he’s gonna do [unclear] now if you turn to Mark last chapter oh man.

▶ 52:08 [unclear] and he preaches. And the baptism of the Holy Ghost and all this and he looks right at me and says you don’t believe this stuff do you now [unclear] that’s not mannerly [unclear] that’s not orderly no and then you know I had these parishioners coming up with their Bible open to Acts 2 and in fact they took my Bible [unclear] you know look at Acts 2 and on Acts 2 I got so many notes and underlines I mean my Bible is just written over with notes it’s a powerful chapter and this young believer looks at it and looks at me she realized this guy knows all about the Holy Ghost his Bible shows he knows all about the Holy Ghost but you see we think we got to do something and it’s not decently and in order and it just messes things up doesn’t Paul say that if you all speak in tongues they’re gonna think you’re crazy when there’s no order they’re gonna think you’re nutty people and we did we did things and people come in they think we’re a bunch of nuts why there was no order no manners.

▶ 53:29 Folks. When they hear God is in our midst they will come I lived in a period of time where God was doing things in churches and the outsiders were coming to see what was going on and I actually experienced that it was a nationwide thing. But we can have it as a local church when we let God move and how many how many know that it’s going to really impress people when they see [unclear] in the congregation being used of God to bring a message through prophecy the Revelation through singing prayer or whatever than the guy up front

▶ 54:22 Looking like the only guy that can be used of God it’s much more impressive when they see their neighbors their acquaintances being used of God. Amen and I told you that stuff is a threat to all church leaders because they look at it like they’re deficient or something that you got to grow past that stuff could that be an amen now. The secrets of his heart are made plain falling down on his face and [unclear] doesn’t mean he falls down like a rock that means he bows down and he goes forward not backwards there’s no backward nonsense in the Bible it’s all forward and bowing and recognition of a higher power or a higher love a higher respect isn’t that right.

▶ 55:22 So falling down on his face he what worships God not you. he doesn’t come and say oh what a great job you did in that service he worships God adores God and he goes out of those doors and reports to his friend and family that God is in you of a truth. isn’t that powerful that’s the goal and what is the most important ingredient. Love. Do you love the people do you love the unlearned do you love the unbeliever do you love them enough to come to church and let God. Manifest himself to where the word gets out and they will come and they will meet with God.

▶ 56:24 Is this Bible yes and in most churches because they don’t know how to keep order they just rule the gifts of the spirit out [unclear] the congregation you go to almost any American church and you are useless except to sit there and listen. Am I right. I’m right. And you’re brainwashed to think that’s it. and this church has gotten away from these things that we knew. Can I say that yeah we have. Don’t get me wrong we do some but not like we used to [unclear] yeah.

▶ 57:18 If therefore the whole church comes together so he’s going to do this when we [unclear] come together and we bring a Psalm a hymn a spiritual song a word a prophecy a revelation or we just come ready to be used of God we may not be used of God but once or twice a year but we’re ready. I’ve told you before. As a young Christian I could prophesy and God would come and really deal with the church and so forth but Mr. Barnes could pray and his prayer would move just as deeply in the church or even deeper through a prayer given to him by the spirit and his wife Edie they’re not here so I can talk about she didn’t have to say anything she had such a relationship and commitment with Jesus Christ that she just prayed like Hannah quietly between her and God.

▶ 58:31 Hallelujah and God would move. Are you there I experienced this stuff. And I’ve seen people that could sing prophetic songs that would move the congregation and I would get one every once in a while you know my wife keeps reminding me I’m the singer you’re the preacher. And I keep reminding her I can make a joyful noise. And see singers need to get in connection with the spirit that’s the key not the latest song on the Christian [unclear] it may not be what God wants to use at all.

▶ 59:25 What kind of church member do we choose to be what do we choose to do with Jesus the Holy Spirit and the gospel are we going to argue with it. Are we going to disagree with it are we going to reject it are we going to accept it and love the church members love the unlearned by coming and being prepared to be used of God.
