How Does a Just God Give a Second Chance? — July 18, 2021: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Pastor David G. Kincer asks how a just God gives a second chance. Because there was no law before Moses, Christ preached to the spirits in prison from Noah’s day; he suggests a just God may give a second chance to those who never understood, but urges taking it now. He criticizes faith-only teaching and lawless conservatives, calls free-salvation teaching socialism in the church, and closes with “neither do I condemn thee.”

You may find your seats this morning.
What does he pray before the message?
Short answer: That we hear what the Spirit is saying to the church, not what men are saying, and that the Holy Spirit convict of sin, righteousness and judgment.
▶ 27:27 Good to have every one of you with us this morning. Father we just come to you right now in the name of your son Jesus Christ. As you asked us to do. And Lord. We ask you to open our ears to hear what the spirit is saying to the church. In the book of Revelations father it is written seven times he that hath the ear let him hear what the spirit is saying to the church not what men are saying. But what the spirit is saying. To every church every Christian in every nation of this earth. Lord we ask you to let the Holy Spirit convict us of sin righteousness and a judgment to come.
Scripture in this part
Revelation 2:7 (NKJV)
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’
— Revelation 2:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:27 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 16:8 (NKJV)
And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
— John 16:8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:27 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Is there too much end-time gloom?
Short answer: Yes; Jesus said the good seed grows brighter while the world gets darker, and we should not tolerate the righteous not getting brighter.
▶ 28:22 As we hear your word. And Lord we ask that that word cause us to grow and mature in you and be a light to the world. Amen and amen. Hallelujah. We. Have been following this theme of Jesus saying in the parable in Matthew 13. Let both grow together the wheat and the tares the bad and the good until the end of the world. It says in Proverbs chapter 4. That the good. Grow brighter and brighter till the end and I submit to you there is way too much talk about the beast.
▶ 29:23 About the tribulation about the darkness and the gloominess and the falling away and all of that when Jesus said. That. The good seed will grow brighter and brighter even though the world is getting darker and darker he predicted that God’s people would get better and better amen and we need to hear more preaching on that. Our eyes and our thinking are too much on falling away. Persecution tribulation and all this stuff that has been propagated by end-time self-appointed prophets for decades. And there is another side to the scriptures could that be true.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 13:30 (NKJV)
Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”
— Matthew 13:30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:22 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Proverbs 4:18 (NKJV)
But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
— Proverbs 4:18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:22 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Was sin imputed before Moses?
Short answer: No; there was no law before or after the flood for ten generations, so God gave everyone before the flood a second chance.
▶ 30:15 Could it be true that the spirit is saying something else absolutely. He says that the bad will grow worse and worse and so we should know as Christians that both are going to happen it should not surprise us that the wicked are getting more wicked. But what we shouldn’t tolerate is the righteous not getting brighter and brighter. Amen. Now. We ended the last session on Romans 5:13. For until the law sin was in the world just realized I’m in front of you. But sin is not imputed it’s not not put on your account.
▶ 31:14 When there is no. Law. Now it took me years to figure this verse out as a young Christian when I first read my Bible through this verse jumped out at me and I didn’t know what the jumping was all about. It just God was quickening me that there’s something important in this verse okay. So last week in our last session. We found that there was no law. Until Moses came. There was no law before the flood. There was no law for 10 generations. Or more after the flood. And the Bible says that sin is not imputed where there is no law.
Scripture in this part
Romans 5:13 (NKJV)
(For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
— Romans 5:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 30:15Is God just and fair?
Short answer: Yes, and His fairness includes chastisement, like parents who discipline their kids.
▶ 32:13 So we found that because there was no law God gave the people before the flood. A second chance. Wow. Isn’t that powerful. God gave everyone before the flood a second chance. Because. He is a just God and he backs up his word where no law is there’s no record of the offense. So. In the New Testament we find. That Christ once suffered and died for our sins one time. The just for the unjust. Is God a just God yes a fair God is he fair.
Scripture in this part
1 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
— 1 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:13Why did Christ die?
Short answer: Not just that we might believe or be saved by grace; He died to bring us to God. Keep encountering God and your faith will arise.
▶ 33:10 Yes sometimes we don’t call it fair because our ideal of fairness is everything is just smooth and rosy all the time. But he includes chastisement as being fair to come and correct you to come and deal with you. See are you with me you know kids like their parents when they’re never disciplining them and spanking them oh my parents are great but you let them discipline them oh I hate my dad I hate my mom you see. God is just in everything he does he is just. And he died that we might believe in God. No. He died that you might be saved by grace.
Did Jesus preach to the spirits in prison?
Short answer: Yes; His body died but His spirit went to those disobedient in Noah’s day, because there was no law then.
▶ 34:05 No. He died to bring us to God. Wow. That is a big difference folks in me being brought to God by God encountering God than me believing in God. How many you know that encounter what caused me to believe. Absolutely. You want your faith to arise just keep encountering God keep have meetings with God your faith will arise because he will make you brighter and brighter hallelujah. So by the spirit when Jesus died his body’s in the grave that fleshly body died and this is where the Muslims really miss the basic thing that shows that Muhammad was a false prophet when Muhammad said Jesus did not die on the cross.
▶ 35:09 Jesus’s body died on the cross but you can’t kill a spirit. Jesus spirit which was the spirit of God was much alive and that spirit he went down into the prisons. Which contain the spirits of those people before the flood and he preached the gospel to them in first Peter 3:20. Why did he go down there and preach the gospel to those who were once disobedient when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah why did he do that because he is a just God there was no laws. Given. The man the husband the father was given the responsibility.
Scripture in this part
1 Peter 3:19-20 (NKJV)
by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
— 1 Peter 3:19-20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 35:09Are we under law?
Short answer: Not under shadow laws or the law of sin and death, but still under God’s civil rights and spiritual laws.
▶ 36:05 Of ruling and carrying on judgment at that time and boy did we. Violence filled the earth corruption everywhere. Are you there so again man when you start using that scripture on your wife submit woman the Bible says submit. You better know you are submitted to Jesus Christ himself and if you have to force your authority on someone you really don’t have authority. In the spirit world could that be true. Hallelujah. So. He preached. So what did he preach he preached the law. People say we’re not under law we’re under grace yeah we’re not under shadow laws we’re not under the law of sin and death but you are under God’s civil rights and spiritual laws still.
Why is the early record authentic?
Short answer: Adam, Seth and Noah overlapped many generations, so people could talk to those who were there.
▶ 37:09 The shadow laws of good things to come Jesus fulfilled those good things and so we obey the fulfillment. We are very much under law. Hallelujah thank God for the law. Now remember Adam and Eve were alive to the eighth generation and seth. They got to see Adam and Eve who were made from the dust of the earth and the bone of man they got to see the people that had no belly button they were never born naturally they got to talk to them who talked with God in the garden. Are you there. So this gospel then recording of it is authentic. And Noah. Rose up after them and he was a righteous man perfect in his generation.
▶ 38:07 He hated evil and pursued good and they had nowhere to look to and after the flood Noah lived to the tenth generation after the flood. They could talk to Noah Shem, Ham and Japheth these people could for ten generations they could talk to these people that live before the flood so the authenticity of the scriptures. Is confirmed. Amen. Now. Noah preached righteousness. The Bible says okay. He preached righteousness. Didn’t preach the law he preached righteousness.
Would everyone respond to a second chance?
Short answer: Not necessarily; many didn’t respond when God came in the flesh. What you are here goes with you.
▶ 39:03 Now through this we see that God is a just God correct was it fair for him to go and preach to these people that were killed during the flood to give them a chance now you say hey anybody. Would respond then. Oh really. Because Christ went personally to them and prayed. Why didn’t the high priest when Jesus was here Jesus was God in the flesh. Why didn’t the Pharisees why didn’t the Sadducees why didn’t a lot of the Jews respond when God personally came himself and preached the gospel to. Them are you with me don’t think it’s easy.
▶ 40:00 Everything is still done by the heart the conscience of right and wrong. Even over there when you go to the other side what you are here goes with you your attitude your thinking. So don’t think that everybody goes oh yes yes give us all this place see the prison is the abiding place of the dead until the final judgment. Paradise Abraham’s bosom is the abiding place of the dead. Of the righteous until the final judgment. So he went down there to hades hell wherever you want to call it the prison and he preached to them and he preached righteousness and he preached the law because they didn’t have the law Noah preached righteousness but Noah didn’t preach the law.
Did the rich man in hell repent?
Short answer: No; he never asked for forgiveness, only for water and for Lazarus to warn his brothers. It’s best to get a responsive heart.
▶ 40:57 Remember the parable. Of the rich man in Lazarus. The rich man died and in hell he lifted up his eyes and he saw Lazarus afar off in Abraham’s bosom that abiding place of the righteous the abiding place of the believer. The interesting thing is. Are you with me. Is the rich man never asked to be. Forgiven. He never. Asked could he repent. He simply asked for a drop of water to relieve his suffering. You see how hard his heart was. See his spirit’s in hell and our spirit has emotions and a mind to think just like our body does.
▶ 41:58 And we can feel things in that spirit. But he never asked for forgiveness. He never asked for repentance. He never confessed his sin he only asked that Lazarus would be resurrected from the dead and sent back to preach to his brothers so they wouldn’t come here that’s how hard his heart was. Are we connected. Hallelujah. So don’t think just because God comes. Even in this life and reveals himself to you like he did Paul on the road to Damascus. That you’re going to respond right. It’s best to get a responsive heart so.
Scripture in this part
Luke 16:22-28 (NKJV)
So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’ “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’
— Luke 16:22-28 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 40:57 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How does a just God give a second chance after the law?
Short answer: A just God has to find a way; many here were given second, third and fourth chances on earth.
▶ 42:50 The question of the day. God is a just God the question of the day is this. After. People are dead. How does a just God. Give a second chance. To those people since the law was initiated. Is that a good question if God is a just God and he gave the people. Before the flood a second chance. A just God has to find a way to give other people a second chance. Wouldn’t you say that.
Who is justified, hearers or doers?
Short answer: The doers of the law; you are positionally righteous by His blood but your condition must grow.
▶ 43:43 In fact we’re probably filled with a room of people that Jesus gave a second chance here on earth huh I’m one. All right you know we get saved then we go off and do our thing then we come back and we get rededicated. You know and God gives us a second chance to get with the program a third chance and a fourth chance and a fifth chance my gosh some of us are like yo yo. But what about after you’re dead. Is there in the scriptures a second chance. We’re going to go to Romans chapter 2 verse 13. For God for not the hearers of the law. Are just or right. Before God but the doers of the law.
▶ 44:37 Shall be justified declared righteous see when you come to Christ you are positionally righteous by his blood. But your condition could be way off the mark isn’t that true you could still be sinning because you got to grow. You got to grow and you got to do things to grow if you’re going to. Grow. So. The Paul that wrote were not under law or under grace is the same Paul that said by the way which you call heresy, so worship I the father believing all that’s in the law and the prophets. Was Paul under the law. Yes he said it right there the way that you guys call heresy I believe everything in the law.
▶ 45:35 Now why believe what’s in the law if you’re not going to follow within the law. Hallelujah. But see people Peter said twist Paul’s words. To make them say what they wanted to say. And I just want to let you know Paul balanced himself out people say you can’t follow the epistles of Paul because they’re not authentic Peter gave the authenticity to Paul when he said. Paul’s writings are hard to understand. He didn’t say they were false doctrines. He said people twist his words to their own destruction. Amen so Paul’s writing is authentic if you read them right and let the Holy Spirit tell you what they are saying could that be an amen hallelujah.
Scripture in this part
Romans 2:13 (NKJV)
(for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;
— Romans 2:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 43:43Acts 24:14 (NKJV)
But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.
— Acts 24:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)2 Peter 3:16 (NKJV)
as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
— 2 Peter 3:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 45:35 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Did the people before the flood understand?
Short answer: No; Jesus said they did not understand until the flood came, and so He preached to them.
▶ 46:39 Paul was not a false epistle writer it’s people want they even want to twist Jesus’s words to say what they want said so let me ask you this let me say this. Going back to the people before the flood. In the parable of the sower. Some fell on the wayside the roadside. Okay some fell on stony ground some fell. On the ground where the tears were sown and then some fell on good ground well those on the wayside the pathway. Jesus said this. When anyone hears the word of the kingdom. And does not understand it.
▶ 47:36 Wow. In Matthew 24 our most talked about chapter. In the Bible. In the world the destruction of the temple and the end times and all that. Jesus says as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be in the coming and the son of man they were buying selling marrying giving in marriage and uh eating drinking just doing what you do daily everything is normal everything is what normal. But he said this. He said even even though he said Noah preached righteousness. Jesus said. That they did not understand.
▶ 48:32 Noah’s preaching. Until the flood came. I mean that’s a little late. Yeah they did not understand so here is the second reason. Jesus went down into the spirits in prison before the flood now there were people after the flood there. All right. But he didn’t preach to them he preached to those before the flood because they didn’t understand and they didn’t understand because they didn’t have the law. You see. Hallelujah. So would he give people today. Who do not understand. A second chance. Would he do such a thing.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 13:19 (NKJV)
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
— Matthew 13:19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:39 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 24:37-39 (NKJV)
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
— Matthew 24:37-39 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 47:36 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Would God give a second chance to those who don’t understand?
Short answer: He submits it’s a high probability; the church world is so confused the world doesn’t understand the simple gospel.
▶ 49:27 I submit to you. It is a high probability a just God. Sees things entirely different than we do. Now you got all kinds of people preaching the gospel today. And all of them are saying something different. And the world is so confused with the church world even on the basics of the Bible. That they don’t have understanding of the simple gospel. That Jesus died to bring us to God not to bring you to a denomination or a special group but to bring you to God amen. Jesus says you search the scriptures and you think you have life in them but you won’t come to me that you might have what life eternal life you’ve got to come to him for eternal life it’s.
Scripture in this part
John 5:39-40 (NKJV)
You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
— John 5:39-40 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 49:27 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What did Job learn?
Short answer: He said “I spoke what I understood not”; we speak about areas of the Bible we haven’t let the Holy Spirit explain.
▶ 50:24 Him. Hallelujah. So. Remember job. Said this in Job 42 3 I spoke what I understood. Not job had these problems coming up on him he lost his children lost his wealth lost his health and he told God he wasn’t fair. I lived righteous and I’m getting treated this way you are not fair. And then when God shows up and talks to Job through Elihu that younger one then job says I spoke what I didn’t understand have you ever done that yeah you’re doing it right now.
▶ 51:14 We enter into areas of speech in the Bible that we haven’t taken time to let the Holy Spirit give us understanding of it could that be true but we know this that the path of the righteous will what grow brighter and brighter so it doesn’t matter where I am today as I hear the word and seek God and respond to God tomorrow I’m going to be brighter could that be an amen and I’m going to keep getting brighter and the church is going to keep getting brighter I don’t care what denomination they’re in they that seek him find him and when they find him he is going to change their life from glory to glory from faith to faith amen amen give God a clap offering he is the power. Hallelujah I’m not stuck with who I am today God promised my tomorrow is going to be better spiritually.
Scripture in this part
Job 42:3 (NKJV)
You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
— Job 42:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 50:24 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Did Israel get a second chance?
Short answer: Yes; they didn’t understand despite the miracles, and God gave them another chance. The righteous may fall seven times but rise.
▶ 52:14 Brighter. Hallelujah. Now. Israel and Egypt. Moses goes down. And preaches to Israel in Egypt they were in slavery. And God does these ten miracles ten plagues. And he brings them out of Egypt. And he brings them to the red sea and these knuckleheads. Said you brought us out here to die in the wilderness here we are the egyptian army is going to get us and they provoke God why because the Bible says they did not understand. Even though they saw the miracles and they heard Moses preached they didn’t get it.
Scripture in this part
Proverbs 24:16 (NKJV)
For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.
— Proverbs 24:16 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 53:09 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What do American Christians believe about salvation?
Short answer: He cites 30 percent faith and grace alone, 30 percent good works vital, 10 percent both; faith without works is dead.
▶ 53:10 Did God give them a second chance. Yes and folks God will give you a second a third a fourth chance the righteous may fall seven times but the Lord will what pick them up. Don’t you stay down. Just take the correction of the Lord and get back up and get moving could that be an amen. Hallelujah I don’t care what level of christianity you’re at. Rise up. Now. In America. 30. Of Christians. Believe in grace. And faith alone that’s it thirty percent. Seventy percent of Americans are Christians.
▶ 54:05 Of that seventy percent thirty percent believe in faith and grace alone another 30 believe your lifestyle your good works are vital for eternal life. Now both are right faith is important. But faith without works is what dead being alone. You see repentance without the fruit of repentance there’s something wrong there’s something wrong with your salvation when you repented and there is no desire no drive to bring forth the fruit of repentance you still drink and curse and swear and get angry and do all these things that you did before. Ten percent.
▶ 54:59 This is according to Barna. Believe in both and the Bible says if you believe in Christ you have eternal life but the Bible also says. When the man said what must I do to have eternal life he says what does the scripture say the guy said obey the law don’t steal don’t kill don’t dishonor your parents. And Jesus said you’ve answered rightly. Do this and you oh what have eternal life. Hallelujah. But does faith come before eternal life or vice versa. The interesting question another question. Because Jesus is eternal life. Does anything come before Jesus.
Scripture in this part
James 2:17 (NKJV)
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
— James 2:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 54:05 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Luke 10:25-28 (NKJV)
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?” So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ” And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”
— Luke 10:25-28 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 54:59 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Does anything come before Jesus?
Short answer: No; He is the way, the truth and the life. You can’t put grace, faith or the Holy Ghost in front of Him.
▶ 55:53 No we put things before him but he is the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father but by him you can’t put grace in front of him you can’t put faith in front of him you can’t put the baptism of Holy Ghost in front of him you can’t put anything in front of him he is the front amen. Hallelujah. Now. This was in 2020. Conservatives in America make up 27. Of the population. And 94. Christians. 94 of conservatives are Christians of some. Matter or another one kind or another okay.
Scripture in this part
John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
— John 14:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 55:53 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does he say about conservative Christians?
Short answer: Half believe they can live any way they want; judgment begins at God’s house, and that’s why “we lost the last election.”
▶ 56:45 Very interesting 35 percent of Americans are moderate and 24 percent are liberal. Now folks. That means that half of the conservative movement. Are Christians that believe they can live any way they. Want. They’re sitting in Trump rallies. And they get intoxicated. Through marijuana or drugs or alcohol they have sex outside of marriage. They curse. They get angry and when they get angry they verbally. Beat people to death with it they hate they hate people that don’t agree with them.
▶ 57:41 And these are called the works of the flesh in Galatians 5. The works we’re not under the works of the flesh. We’re not under we’re not saved by the workers of the flesh we’re saved by the works of God’s law. And so we’re trying to get God to use Trump. To save America. When the Bible says judgment begins first where. God’s house God’s people and you got half the people. Wanting God to use Trump that are flat out sinning. You getting a picture. Now you understand why we lost the last election.
▶ 58:42 Even the prophets were prophesying Trump would win. Horrible I got them on I got them on video. Copeland and all up oh God thus saith the Lord Trump is going to win by landslide. He didn’t win. God has to deal with his church first. Then everybody in the conservative movement. Are on the side of righteousness folks. Do we understand. That. Hallelujah. So. We hate socialism. But we allow socialism in the church.
Scripture in this part
Galatians 5:19-21 (NKJV)
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
— Galatians 5:19-21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 57:41 (quoted; reference not named in the message)1 Peter 4:17 (NKJV)
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
— 1 Peter 4:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 57:41 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What is socialism in the church?
Short answer: Teaching free salvation with nothing required; then we fight socialism in the nation.
▶ 59:35 Remember 30 of Christians believe you don’t have to do any work to go to heaven. You don’t have to confess your sin you don’t have to repent you don’t have to pray you don’t have to go to church you don’t have to do nothing you don’t have to stop committing sexual immorality getting intoxicated you don’t have to do anything. My faith in Jesus gets me into heaven. Now how is God going to turn a nation around. If he doesn’t come first and turn his church around. Does that make sense. Yeah. And we are the key to America. All right and those people that are not serving God by faith God can turn them around God can turn us all around could that be an amen we can have a second chance right here on earth we don’t have to wait to the other side what I’m trying to tell you is there is a lot of confusion in the church world and a lot of people don’t have understanding of eternal things.
Do Christians read their Bibles?
Short answer: He says only 15 percent; check what the preacher says on your knees with the book.
▶ 1:00:49 And if they died today would God give them a second chance that’s what we are submitting to you a just God. See would he give people that didn’t understand. That second chance because those preaching to them those ministering to them. Didn’t give them understanding and they didn’t have enough of God to get into the Bible themselves you know that only 15 percent of Christians read their Bible don’t you. Yeah a lot of you are probably like that you just believe what you read on facebook what you hear on the radio what you hear on tv or what your preacher tells you. You don’t get that book out get on your knees and say God.
▶ 1:01:46 What that guy preached Sunday at that church. Is that real show me. Take notes go through it dig it out. Could that be an amen. And when you hear something enough it becomes what. A truth to you and so we got socialism in the church you know. Salvation is free don’t have to do anything don’t have to love your wife don’t have to love your kids you don’t have to love anybody you don’t have to do anything just it’s free. God’s just handing it out here you go free salvation free salvation do anything you want free salvation we got socialism in the church and then we fight against socialism in our nation.
How has America been socialistic?
Short answer: He says government became savior in the ’60s: welfare for babies, paying for abortion and foster care, and paying people to live on the street.
▶ 1:02:42 And in our nation our nation has been socialistic for several decades now. And I can prove it to you. Socialists give you your fair share whether you earn it or not. As long as you obey their rules they’ll give you your fair share listen for decades we have been paying. Women to have babies. If they go out get drunk get pregnant we just give them welfare. And when the baby comes we get more welfare. So they go out and get pregnant again and when I lived in Detroit and was around these people. The guy would run off from the house when the social workers came so they didn’t know he was there so she would get all this money.
▶ 1:03:38 So he had worked and she got all the money them guys lived good. Because our government stepped in and became the savior of America. In the 60s. Our government stepped in. And became the savior of America. If that woman did not want to have the child the government will pay her to abort it. No discipline no correction. If she doesn’t want to abort it and she doesn’t want to raise it our government will pay foster parents. Over eleven hundred dollars a month per child plus freebies. To take care of this woman’s child. That’s socialism.
Who is to blame?
Short answer: The 70 percent who claim to be Christians and voted it in; we can have a second chance now, but he wouldn’t count on one later.
▶ 1:04:35 And remember 70 of America claim to be Christians and we voted all this in. So who’s to blame him is it the democrats is it the republicans or is it the citizens of America not understanding what’s going on. Amen. And can God give us citizens of America a second chance now and can he if we died in this misunderstanding give us a second chance on the other side. If he’s a just God and he did that for people before the flood. It seems. They can get a second chance but I wouldn’t count on that.
▶ 1:05:29 And I told you why. Jesus was God in the flesh he was there to the Jews that believed in God and they rejected the God they believed in because the God they believed in didn’t come with the message and with the style and with the method that they said he had to come in. You don’t dictate to God how he comes to you God dictates to you how you come to God. Wow that was good. Amen. Hallelujah. So we got socialism. And government is our savior now there’s no problem with non-violent crimes anymore.
▶ 1:06:22 The socialists have decided that nonviolent crimes you just rest and bring them in we’ll let them go. There is no crime against living on the street. In fact we’ll pay you to live on the street you poor guy you know you don’t want to work that’s okay here we’ll pay you money every week to live here on the street poop on the street do drugs on the street everything on the street. Government has become God. Government has become God a savior without any standards of morality. And the church just keeps on going the way it is and the main reason is we are bombarded with this end time teaching that there’s a falling away difficult time to come men are going to be lawless oh disobedient stubborn heart-headed in all this you know the Bible says that but the Bible also says that the just will what grow brighter and brighter until that perfect that complete day amen and so we should be growing brighter and brighter to bring light to those that are growing darker and darker and that is a good place for an amen.
Does God come to every denomination?
Short answer: Yes; he has seen God’s presence in Catholic, Baptist and Presbyterian churches where people gathered in His name.
▶ 1:07:45 But can we hear what the spirit’s saying to the church we hear the same old stuff over and over and over and we just accept it we go to church and we say you hear the same message we heard heard last year. And we feel the same presence that we felt last year. And I know this I’ve ministered in every denomination. I’ve ministered in all but two of the continents in nations. And I’ve seen. Personally God come to churches he didn’t care if they were Catholic he didn’t care if they were Baptist he didn’t care for Presbyterian he didn’t look at the name on the outside of the church when people gathered together Jesus said where two or more are gathered in my name I will be in the midst and I saw God’s presence there because I was looking for God’s presence I wasn’t looking for their problems I was looking for his presence and he was there.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
— Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:07:45 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How do Christians quench the Spirit?
Short answer: Meeting God and then losing their temper, cursing and hitting their spouses; we don’t read or seek God.
▶ 1:08:44 And he would give me a word for these people that would revolutionize their life. Because they were seeking God many of them. They did want God but no one was telling them how to find God. No one was telling them that Jesus died on the cross to bring you to God not just believe in God bring you to God isn’t that a big difference. Absolutely. So American Christians. I’m 78 years old and I see this all the time. They can make a commitment to God they can have a meeting with God they can be filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost with power.
▶ 1:09:42 And then go out and quench that spirit. Lose their temper curse. And do horrible things hit their wives hit their husband. Scream at them. And then come back next Sunday. Like everything’s copacetic. Everything’s all right. How many no that’s not being a light. How many you know it’s not fair to our children to be raised in that kind of atmosphere. Am I right doesn’t the Bible say for us to be examples of the believer didn’t he say that or is that just for Timothy only Timothy has to be an example now it’s all of us are to follow the example of Christ. And what is one of the fruits of the spirit.
Scripture in this part
Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
— Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:10:35 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Why hasn’t prayer worked, he says?
Short answer: God can’t answer a prayer you won’t put action behind; judgment begins at the house of the Lord.
▶ 1:10:36 Patience and self-control. Why do we lose our temper. Why do we use profanity. Because we don’t read the Bible we don’t take time to seek God. We don’t take time to come to him and that’s why Christ died on the cross for you to come to him. A lot of people put prayer. Ahead of re reading the word and seeking God they think prayer is some magical answer and prayer has not worked for decades. People I’m I’m 78 I’ve seen the church pray I’ve seen us have prayer meetings I’ve seen times of prayer for nations and for all this.
▶ 1:11:31 But how can God answer a prayer that you’re not willing to put action behind and live for him. Judgment must begin where in the house of the Lord he that hath an ear needs to hear what. Spirit is saying to the church and what is the spirit saying to you today that’s what’s important it isn’t important what Dave Kincer is preaching it’s what the spirit is quickening you right now while I am preaching why you are worshiping that’s what you need to focus in on amen we’re all at different levels don’t compare yourself to others the Bible says. We’re all at different levels and he comes at our level. I submit to you as the musicians come.
Why take the second chance now?
Short answer: To enjoy the abundant life now, free from anger, hatred and greed; God has power to build a glorious church.
▶ 1:12:31 I would take God upon his second chance now. If for no other reason then you can enjoy. The abundant life that God promised now. Free from anger free from hatred. Free from greed. You know Christians are just as much in debt as the world is. And they file bankruptcy just as much as the world fight bankruptcy and don’t pay their debts back.
▶ 1:13:08 How many know that’s got to change. And how many know God has the power to change it the Bible says that God has the power. To perform what he promised amen did he promise a glorious church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing amen does he have the power to come to us and do it amen does he did Jesus say I’m building a a church that the gates of hell cannot prevail against does he have the power to do it yes he has the power to come to you and I we’re leaning too much on ministers we’re leaning too much on on renowned speakers when we need to let the Holy Spirit begin to change our individual lives and this is what’s going to change America church and this is what’s going to change the church when we let God change us as an individual it’s going to be infectious and it’s going to rub off on somebody else as the individual changes the church changes and as the individual citizens change in America America changes it’s not Trump that can save America it’s not the republican party that can save America it’s not the democratic party it is Jesus Christ working in the citizens of America to turn us to righteousness could that be an amen and it begins in the church.
Scripture in this part
Ephesians 5:27 (NKJV)
that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
— Ephesians 5:27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:13:08 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
— Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:13:08 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does “neither do I condemn thee” show?
Short answer: The woman was set up and didn’t ask for forgiveness; Jesus is bigger than your faith.
▶ 1:14:37 And we have this great. Song. Out of the scriptures neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more. Very powerful. This woman was set up. They purposely had a man go and have intimate relationships with her then they come in and they catch her in the Bible they were supposed to bring both the man and the woman before the judgment the only brought the woman she was set up. And she was set up so they could prove Jesus was wrong because Jesus came to show mercy. Did the Bible does the Bible say his mercy is everlasting. Yes and his truth endures for how long forever yes.
▶ 1:15:29 And so they see Jesus having mercy on people that they would stone and so they purposely fixed this woman they set her up. And Jesus. Wrote on the ground but he said these seven words he that is without sin among you cast the first stone. And that short sermon was so powerful. That those men that had those stones in their hand one by one began to drop them. The convicting power of the word and the Holy Spirit. Stopped that woman prevented that woman from being stoned and Jesus and she didn’t ask for salvation have you read it.
▶ 1:16:23 She didn’t ask for forgiveness did she no. She didn’t believe. Anything was going to happen she thought she was going to die. But Jesus in her situation don’t think you got to have all this faith for God to change your life is my point these people that preach everything comes only by faith they haven’t read that book very much. Jesus came to people who had no faith and when he came and spoke to them and encountered them their faith arose and believed in him. Hallelujah. So if if you’re in this mentality that I just don’t have the faith get off of it. Jesus is bigger than your faith. If you invite him to come to you he will come he will speak to you he will touch you and he will change you because he died on the cross to bring you to the father.
Scripture in this part
John 8:7 (NKJV)
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”
— John 8:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:15:29 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 8:11 (NKJV)
She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
— John 8:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:14:37 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How does the service close?
Short answer: Singing “Neither do I condemn thee,” praying to receive His lordship, and taking the offering.
▶ 1:17:26 And he’s going to bring a glorious person to the father a righteous person to the father and so he’s going to do that work in you are you with me this is a powerful powerful song in my opinion when I was a young Christian I loved this song because as a young Christian you’re trying to grow and men you know you look in that mirror and you see all kinds of flaws. But the scriptures and the Holy Ghost let you know that you’re going to heaven even if you died with those flaws I was going to heaven I never doubted my salvation I never even thought about backsliding amen. So if you want God to come to you and give you a second chance now. And thank him for giving other people a second chance on the other side will you stand with me and let’s sing neither I do I condemn thee neither do I condemn the precious words divine.
▶ 1:18:31 From the lips of mercy. Like the sweetest child. Wonderful words of Jesus. Seen them more and or neither do I condemn me. No more. By the crowd of worshipers. Sorry for their sins. Was a poor wanderer. Rudely brought in scribes came and pharaoh’s teeth anxious to see. What the meek master means verdict would be. Neither do I command thee. Divine.
▶ 1:19:23 From the lips of mercy. Like the sweetest child. Wonderful words of Jesus. Spoke they are punishment. Quoting the law. Stop the unhealingly. Head bowing low. Right. Lift your your.
▶ 1:20:21 Position of no condemnation I accept your forgiveness I accept Lord Jesus your goal your destiny for me to grow brighter and brighter. Neither do I condemn thee precious words Lord we give you our sins we give you our failures we give you our flaws today this time. And we receive that promise to grow brighter and brighter today Lord you have the power to make us brighter and brighter and sin no more neither do I condemn thee precious words divine. From the lips of mercy. Like the sweetest shrine. Wonderful words of Jesus.
▶ 1:21:25 Oh now let’s just pray to our father right now you pray individually to your God father we come to you in the name of your son Jesus Christ as you asked us to do and you said you would receive us you said you would accept us father we asked you to come and make us people that are on the pathway to grow brighter and brighter until that end time day till the end time comes we want to be a people Lord that they can see our good works and bring glory to you Jesus we want to get rid of our anger our hatred we want to get rid of our foul mouth Lord Jesus we want to get rid of these things that hinder the light of God in us and we ask you Jesus who has the power. To do these things and promise to do them to come with your Holy Spirit with your word and change changes from glory to glory from faith to faith Lord come and change us this day.
▶ 1:22:32 And if any of us feel guilty and condemned Lord we just ask you to reach down and take that out of them there is no condemnation to those in Jesus Christ when we seek him we find him and he takes control of our life. Thank you Jesus. Thank you. Lord. Reigning. R.
▶ 1:24:00 Restore Jesus as Lord of your life right now. Reign in me just sing this song directly to him. Block out everything and just sing this directly to Jesus Christ as a prayer. Me. Sovereignty.
▶ 1:25:06 And we’re receiving your lordship. Your kingship into our life. Amen church. As the Bible says. Don’t I should say don’t the Bible say that every jot and tittle of God’s word of God’s law. Will come to pass before the end. Does that include a glorious church without sparta ringo. Does that include a church that the gates of hell cannot rule over prevail against amen does that include the children of the wicked one not being in government but the children of the righteous one being in government.
▶ 1:26:04 You see both of these grow together but ever who’s in authority. Is the one that dictates what the rest do. And when the righteous are in authority what happens the people rejoice and when the wicked rule what happened the people mourn. And church there are people all over America I told you I’ve preached in denominations everywhere and all over the world there are people like us looking for God’s glory looking for a new visitation of God looking for God to fulfill his promises we’re not by herself amen. And I don’t care what you were yesterday you get on the road to the brighter and brighter but you got to put some work into it you got to spend some time in prayer through the week in the word through the week.
▶ 1:27:02 Not only listen to ministers but take what those ministers say and go to the book and prove they are right I did this as a young Christian and it revolutionized my life because I found that. Only 10 of what these preachers were preaching were truth. And a lot of it’s just things they made up it wasn’t in the Bible at all are you there. Hallelujah God bless you thank you for putting up with me you can find your seat as mike comes. We’re going to take up the offering let’s power our heads we’re gonna pray ask God to bless the offering Lord Jesus we come before you this morning Lord Jesus we thank you Lord that you do not condemn us Jesus Lord but you have given us many chances Lord to receive your word and respond.
▶ 1:28:00 Lord like many of the people in the New Testament like the lady with the issue of blood Lord Jesus like zacchaeus who was rich he thought he had everything but Lord Jesus he realized he needed you God Lord I pray that and we thank you this morning for those chances to respond to you Lord God we pray Lord that Jesus no matter where we’re at today that we would respond to the word by by seeking you. Jesus going home this week and spending time with you setting aside a schedule where we are putting you in our lives. Jesus so that you can touch our hearts and change our hearts. Jesus please. I pray Lord that we would have an ear to hear this morning what the spirit says to us and respond Jesus we thank you and we ask you bless this offering and bless this day and everyone said amen. We have a we’re gonna have some food. Thank you for joining us online God bless you have a wonderful day.
