Hope and Change: full transcript and answers

▶ 0:37 Real hope and real change. Philippians 3:13. I Paul said I forget those things which are behind folks there’s a place where you’ve got to just get over your old life your mistakes your failures God forgave you you got to forgive yourselves and you got to go forward can I be an amen you can’t go through life condemning yourself for the flaws you have until you can correct them and so Paul says I forget those things which are behind I reach for those things which are ahead I press I forcefully move forward to the goal see God has a goal. Of the high calling the top invitation of God yes he invited us to be forgiven for our sins he invited us to be the temple of God he invited us to come into his kingdom and but he says there’s other invitations and there is a top invitation.

▶ 1:42 And with that top invitation comes a prize a reward. And Paul says I press toward those things Paul was the world’s worst sinner and he laid that stuff he he put it behind him and he moved toward the goal the goal is not just being saved from your sins and going to heaven God has a higher goal involved. What is the goal of the top calling of God the top invitation. Here we have hope. The top goal the top invitation would be to reach the top commandment. Isaiah 20 I mean Matthew 22:37 love God. And remember we learn that God is love so you love love can you say that love love you know for people who don’t believe in God then love love.

Love God with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind your spiritual man your intellectual man and and and your physical man love God with every part of you love love and remember love does nothing to hurt. All right it is the first and the great law so that is the high invitation of God he had to invite you to be forgiven for your sins he had to invite you to come to him for forgiveness confessing your sins get water baptized but his higher invitation is his first commandment.

The second one it says is like an into it love your neighbor as yourself don’t hurt those around you don’t hurt yourself don’t do things that bring problems and distress and pain in your life and others life the third one is a new commandment Jesus gave us to love one another or love the true church don’t talk about don’t hurt those people that are pursuing Bible morality the genuine church we’re supposed to love and that’s why the church is so important people that don’t go to church they don’t get it you’re supposed to go to church to provoke one another to love and to good works and when you don’t go to church you’re not a promoter of people’s lives growing and reaching this goal and you’re not going to grow yourself.

▶ 4:31 Because they that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish and grow in the courts of their God that’s the promise of God so the coming together is very important not to hear contemporary music or hillbilly music or jazz music or whatever music. But to be a part of the body of Christ that is contributing for others to love and to do good works. It’s not an entertaining place in a socializing place that’s the goal of the top calling of God first Timothy 1:5 the end the goal the last in sequence. Of the law is love out of a pure heart you see it’s not faith the goal is love. To love God love yourself love your neighbor and love your enemy that’s the goal of God that’s the whole purpose and we stop at salvation.

And just because you’re saved it isn’t the goal the top goal is to love love and some have swerved they’ve deviated. They’ve strayed from that goal of God. How to sequentially reach the top goal step by step. All right second Peter one we’ve covered it chapter one verses four starting with verse four add to your faith whether you’re a humanist or whether you are a Christian no matter what you are if you’re an atheist if you’re a homosexual if you’re a liberal you have a faith in something you are persuaded in something.

So whether you’re a humanist or whether you’re a Christian or whether what you are you need to add to your faith something to reach a high goal. That will help you and humanity around you. Number one moral excellence courageously standing for it number one you add to the faith moral excellence you haven’t arrived yet but you got the courage to stand up for it and pursue the goal. That’s what that virtue means it’s an encompassing word the courage for moral excellence you are not there yet but you’re pursuing it you’re going to live right and speak right number two you’ve got to get knowledge of what a moral excellent is. You got to get knowledge and it can’t be someone’s opinion it’s got to be a source that has proven what moral excellence.

And here’s where people really met Christians also they don’t add to their faith self-control is just controlling yourself. Quit waiting for a telephone call from God to straighten you out quit waiting for some Holy Ghost meeting to cause you to refrain from doing wrong self-control is you controlling yourself. And we need to add that. All right so we restrain ourselves from immoral desires immoral practices then we need patience patience is the right reaction when you’re agitated stirred up to do wrong and people are aggravating you and people are trying to lead you astray you just patiently wait to get married you patiently wait to get a job you patiently wait you know get that education and I want to get out of the house well stay there until you’re ready to take care of yourself by getting educated by learning a job trade be patient in marriage you can’t if you can’t afford to support a woman you’re not ready to be married.

▶ 8:48 If you’re not if you can’t afford to support to support a woman and baby if you want a baby you’re not ready to be married you need to get what the education the job skill get your act together. You need patience with yourself and Christians need patience especially baby Christians you know they get saved and God is wonderful and all that but they’ve got a lot of things that still are flaws in their life be patient with yourself God will get you there now and we need patience with ourself and we need patience with others. Number five godliness is the condition of respect for God to obey his morality. Or God is love it’s a condition of respect for love to obey love’s morality.

▶ 9:41 You hear that humanist you can reject God but you can’t reject love. Love in any language in any nation is a high thing. But the Bible tells us what love is. And so we need a condition a possession of loving love number six brotherly love as we taught a few weeks ago brotherly love is loving the church the true Christian don’t mess around with the true Christian God will hold you responsible for it and number seven. Love. God is love and we’re to love God we’re to love our neighbor and we’re to love our enemy and not just those that oppose us are having a bad day we’re to love the criminal enemy by turning them from their crime.

Genesis 15:1 God said I am your shield your exceedingly great reward so love is the exceedingly great reward not your faith love is the top invitation and the top reward. Luke 10:25 what shall I do to enter inherit eternal life Jesus said love God to the man and love your neighbor as yourself.

▶ 11:29 So see love brings us into eternal life and we have we have dumbed down American Christians by this grace and faith thing plus nothing I can go right on live in my bad life grace and faith hallelujah grace and faith plus nothing no you got to get into the growth prospect the sequential growth prospect and not only do you attain love but you attain eternal life John 17:3 this is the definition of eternal life. That they may know the only true God and Jesus Christ so they may know the only true love and Jesus Christ who is love who is God and that word no like the Bible says that Joseph did not know mary until after Jesus was born he did not have a intimate sexual relationship with mary and it’s used many times in the Bible like that so eternal life is having a relationship with Christ that’s why us protestants focus so strongly in being born again.

▶ 12:36 And knowing God because you can experience him and it makes all the difference in the world what is God’s goal and reward. Of us reaching the top what’s in it for God. You know what does God get out of this. Deuteronomy 32:9 the lord’s portion is his people he gets you. He wants you and he wants to live in eternity with you. He created you. With a free choice you could choose love or you could choose hate and if you choose love you’re choosing God and you’re going to spend eternity with him he. Made this whole thing to get you to spend eternity with him forever Romans 5:8 God displayed his love toward us while we were still sinners Christ died for us when did Christ start loving us after we become mature no before we even heard of him.

▶ 13:45 He loved us and after we heard of him and we rejected him he loved us and he showed it by dying he showed it by doing something for us. And so when we say we love God we will what do something for him when we say we love the church we will what do something for them and when we say we love the sinner the criminal we will what do something for them Ephesians 5:25 love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it Christ not only died for the sinner he died for the church because he knew the church in the baby stage and the children stage had flaws. They still had sin in their life and that church as it says in first John could go to Christ for the propitiation the covering the removal of sin Christ died for the church he died for sinners and he showed his love for both.

▶ 14:45 By coming down God came down God in the flesh is Jesus Christ. And died for us and so we’re to love our spouses like Christ love the church we do something for them don’t ask them to do something for you do something for them. God holds us accountable for the way we treat the people he loves let me say that again. God holds us responsible for the way we treat the people he loves whether it is a sinner. Or whether it is a saint. Revelation 2:4 you have left your first love. Okay we know that our first love is. God loving love. Loving God our first love is God or love who demands that we love his true church and the sinner as he did.

▶ 15:46 And I’m talking about the criminal sinner you know the murderer the rapist. The criminal they maliciously they purposely. Have in their mind to do wrong and hurt people remember therefore from where you have fallen. Okay when you left your first love when you don’t care about the church of the living God and you don’t care about sinners you’ve left your first love because God loves them both and how do you love a sinner by correcting them they got to convert to the preaching of the gospel or they got to convert through laws that punish until they learn to change their thinking and if they don’t then they got to be removed from society. And so God holds us accountable we can’t just come into church every week in America and listen to the newest song from from hillsong and and you know the the latest music and the latest dance drama or play drama or whatever somewhere the church in America has got to be stirred to love like God loves we do something for the sinner we do something for the church that is growing in God so there’s change you see hope and change we’ve got to change.

▶ 17:09 And we have the great hope that we can change and attain humanists and their followers have rejected God and his people and Bible morality first Samuel 8 7 they have not rejected you Samuel but they have rejected me that I should not rule over them and and this is what the humanists the atheists and their followers the evolutionists the religionist and everybody else is that’s what they don’t want they don’t want God love ruling over their life they don’t want the definition of love that does no harm to themselves does no harm to others they don’t want that ruling their life and telling them what to do so they take it out on the church who preaches it and they take it out on people who live it they bash them they hate them Luke 19:14. In the parable.

▶ 18:01 Jesus said his citizens hated him we will not have this Lord to reign over us you see. The homosexuals. The humanists the atheists these people hate Jesus Christ. Why because he stands for and demands that we love ourself and do no harm to ourself and love others and do no harm to others and if we don’t he has a lake of fire prepared for you they don’t want to hear that it’s all about. Love. Running the nations and running our life. And whether you believe in God humanist and atheist or not you must see that love. Is the high thing that will bring no harm to people.

When we pass laws that approve crime we’re not loving the sinner we’re not loving these people that are hurting others and hurting themselves we are enabling them to be corrupt. And you atheists say you’re good without God. But I want to show you atheists that you’re not good without God you humanists are not good without God you liberals you religionists you homosexuals you’re not good without God.

Beware of false prophets you know them by their fruits a prophet is one that speaks by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in the kingdom of God but they speak by the inspiration of the evil Spirit when they’re not in the kingdom of God it’s still speaking by an inspiration by a source you either speak by the source of Jesus Christ the Holy Ghost and God to love and to do good works or you speak from the source of the enemy the Devil. To destroy people and and and cause them to do bad works and evil works and hurt themselves do we understand that and humanist you are false prophets you say these things work and we have statistics that prove they don’t.

▶ 20:59 Galatians 6:7 God is not mocked what a man sows that will it also reap flesh if you sow to the flesh you’ll reap corruption if you sow to the Spirit you will reap eternal life a relationship with God you will love yourself not harm yourself and you will love others and not harm others. And I’m talking to you humanist I want you to know I got you in my scope. You atheist you Christian humanists. You homosexuals. This message is for you. Pro-choice. Since 1973. Has killed over 50 million babies who had no choice now how can you tell me that you have a choice to choose and you don’t give other people a choice to choose that is not pro-choice.

We don’t want babies born in the world it’s not taken care of. But you should have thought of that before you had sex. Self-control is before.

There were less than two sexually transmitted disease you know syphilis and gonorrhea they were it basically all right now we have over 30. Sexually transmitted diseases and several of them are incurable and several of them bring death. And you humanists say. That you’re right you’re false prophets. You were in control of this teaching you were the one pushing it.

In 1960 less than two percent of Americans the permissive people had a sexually transmitted disease now over 50 percent just a year or so ago it was 50 now it’s over 50 percent it’s growing and increasing. Greater than 2 million Americans have the hiv virus and more than 650 000 have died from aids. Since pro-choice people come in and says everybody has a choice choosing to do wrong to bring harm to you and others is not a good choice. Statistics show that you were wrong humanist. And the Bible is right Christians who did it God’s way married and stayed in the marriage and kept sex in the marriage they don’t have these problems.

You legalize same-sex marriages which is the first in history and six thousand years of this earth’s existence no nation ever legalized homosexuality and same-sex marriage. No nation. But you have bullied Americans you’ve bullied the people you’ve pushed your agenda and you’re destroying the moral fiber of America and the statistics prove it and I’m talking to you humanist I’m talking to you atheists. You have legalized the murder of innocence. You’ve legalized unemployment with welfare food stamps and whatever we can do to give them more money if they have more babies you’ve legalized.

And you call it humanitarianism when it is destruction of the American family the American way of life and the Bible morality it is the destruction of human beings 48 of kids are born to ed unwed mothers.

▶ 26:39 Over 44 percent of children are living in a single-parent home and you humanists and atheists are the cause of this promoting pro-choice and promoting these evil practices you’re hurting children and you already know that these children are the highest source of crime sexual permissiveness drugs alcohol. And the single-parent families they they’re a high percentage. Of violence and other immoral things in their life and yet you keep on saying you’re doing a humanitarian work you are not the statistic shows it. Five million kids were abused are abused every year. 460 000 are sexually abused every year because you don’t want laws to bring self-control to adults adults just do what they want.

And the victim the child some psychological help a child should never be harmed in any way and when we allow people to hurt children we have stooped as low as you can go christianity is declining every year but not true Christians true Christians you can’t change you could never change me. I really met Christ I was really born again I mean nobody could get me to sway which they tried to do all of my Christian life there when I met the man and I met the Bible there was no turning from that oh I had my flaws and I had my failures but I got up and kept pursuing what I knew was real.

But you’re the fault. A lot of our young people won’t even try christianity because you have told the nation’s youth that it’s a bunch of nonsense. Cost of pro-choice. Billions of dollars billions hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes.

Don’t even work or they don’t make enough money to to get medical attention for their error their choices and so as taxpayers have to carry the burden. Or their family does. Medical expenses and the jobs these people can’t work at a job. And if they do it’s poor production. And so it costs the united states of America billions of dollars. You lie you hate you bully you promote crime and you want admitted. You’ve led the destruction of Americans families jobs public schools.

You’re still propagating your deception in the name of humanitarianism and hope and change but your hope and change is the wrong hope and change we’re giving you the Bible hope and change you can change through the Bible you can change through God and reach the high goal of God to love love Luke 3:10. The people ask. What shall we do. And humanists and your followers you should be asking well what can we do what can we do to change this. Not cover it up change it what can we do to change these statistics. We need real hope and change we need wimps.

▶ 31:22 To turn into warriors. Wimps don’t have the courage to stand up against anti-Bible morality bullies warriors have the courage to stand up and fight against Bible morality bullies. And we need to turn into warriors. And change from being a wimp we need real hope and change. And the way to do that is number one you got to admit you’re wrong. For promoting these kind of statistics. Could that be an amen may God admit that it’s wrong it’s not working. Number two we got to repent that means you got to change your thinking from one direction to a right direction you got to change your behavior from the wrong behavior to the right behavior. Repentance.

▶ 32:16 And confessing our wrongs is not just for Bible believers it’s for everyone. It works for the humanists the atheists the Christian it’ll work for anyone. We gotta admit we’re wrong and we’ve got to turn from the wrong thinking and the wrong behavior number three we gotta pass laws that put criminals back in the closet. Humanness you need to get back to laws that put criminals people that are hurting other people these statistics. We need to put these people back in the closet let them do it in the secret of their cellar in the basement or the deepest basement they can find but not on tv and not publicly promoted. Could that be an amen.

▶ 33:12 Christians you need to come out of the closet. And we need to put these people back in the closet they want to do these things and let them do it in the secret. Of the darkness. Not on public tv and promoting them and and legalizing it Ephesians 5:11 have no fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness but reprove them correct them it is a shame to speak of those things done of them in secret. These things should not be publicly done where children get the wrong understanding of a right lifestyle right relationships they should not be publicly promoted if they want to do that then do it in the dark room of your home in your basement and and your gutter life don’t bring it out to the rest of us.

The atomic theory is a theory because it has not been proven that it is a law and a fact. Are you there.

And we should be teaching our children Bible morals not homosexual marriages and homosexual acceptance in the kindergarten and first and second third grade could that be an amen yes that should not be and Americans we’re at fault because we have been in the closet we’ve been silent we’re not speaking up all we care about is Jesus coming again and going up to heaven and he ain’t coming again in this generation he’s coming at the right time and we need to buck up and do what we can to change America and liberate as many people as possible if all you’ve got to look forward to as a Christian is the second coming you’re missing it.

We’re not prevailing against the gates of hell we’re not even fighting most of us. We’re just wanting another flattery sermon every Sunday go through the motions nice song and we need sermons that change us because we respond and get changed we need songs that change us because we respond and get changed.

▶ 37:12 And we use love. To reach the sinner the criminal the church the unchurched. We need to stop lying you. You humanists need to stop lying you politicians you lie to me all the time including you republicans who have the right platform you lie to me tardy lying to me. I need politicians that speak the truth and stand up for the truth whether it’s popular or not so you lose the vote and so you lose the position at least they heard what was right. Can I hear an amen. You democrats with 52 percent of your membership. Humanist and controlling what you do shame on you.
