What is God’s goal for each person?

▶ Watch this part (18:51)

Short answer: Eternal life—to know the only true God and Jesus Christ; whoever keeps His word, God’s love is perfected in him.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 18:51 As this morning we want to remind be reminded of God’s goals for us as individuals in John chapter 17 verse 3 he says this is eternal life he has a goal for everyone. This is that we would all have eternal life he says that this is eternal life that you may know that they may know you the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent and so God has a goal for us to know him to know God to know Jesus. First John chapter 2 verse 3 very clearly says that by this we know that we know him if we keep his commandments. He who says I know him and does not keep his commandments as a liar and the truth is not in him how many know you don’t want to be a liar right you don’t want the truth not found in you amen.

What is God’s goal for His church?

▶ Watch this part (19:44)

Short answer: To be established on top of the mountains—high in His ways, with His mercy lifting us up.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 19:44 But whoever keeps his word truly the love of God is perfected in him so now he gives a different word here and he says the love of God is perfected in him so knowing God loving God they’re very similar and very much the same. God has goals for his church found in Isaiah and other places chapter 2 verse 2. The mountain of the lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains shall be exalted above all the hills and the nations shall flow into it he will teach us his ways and we shall walk in his paths for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of Lord from Jerusalem he shall judge between the nations and rebuke many people so God wants to establish the church. And not just to be seen but we want to know what this mountains is talking about if you read Isaiah chapter 55 verse 9.

▶ 20:46 It says as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts so we know that this height this is is talking about his ways. And yes he wants to exalt us above other rel the church above other religions and such but it’s because we’re established and we’re high in his ways your righteousness is like the great mountains your judgments are a great deep so his righteousness is like a great mountains God wants us in those high mountains. Doing what is right following his ways as the heavens are high above the earth so great is his mercy toward those who fear him so we also are have his mercy amen.

▶ 21:45 So we need. To be established in his ways his righteousness and also his mercy his mercy is what gets you there right if you didn’t have any mercy from God from Christ you would have never been able to bump up and change you guys understand what I’m saying I it’s a an excellent program that God has when you start out going up the mountain and you’re not exercised you’re overweight it’s going to take time and God is merciful right he gives you time. Shall be exalted above all the hills and that all nations shall flow into it God wants all nations all peoples to be flowing in and coming in to God’s house he wants to teach us he will teach us his ways he is going to do it he will come and even though he is invisible.

Scripture (NKJV)

Isaiah 2:2-3 (NKJV)

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Scripture (NKJV)

Isaiah 55:9 (NKJV)

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

— Isaiah 55:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:46 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Why can’t the church write laws?

▶ Watch this part (22:43)

Short answer: Out of Zion goes forth the law; the world writes laws that hurt.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 22:43 You know right now maybe I can sit down and we can just have Jesus up there teaching right that would be great but the way he does it he uses his word and he will speak his word if you will listen if you will allow his spirit to come and speak to you he will teach you in your heart in your mind and he will convict you it’s happened many times I’m sure many of you experienced that amen him teaching you his ways and we will walk in his past there must be a response from God’s people and that’s what God is looking for are we going to walk in his path so you don’t have to wait till this is all done. By him sovereignly we can do this now we can be established in his ways now. No matter if it’s a million people or 10 people whoever it is we can be established in his ways all nations can flow into it.

▶ 23:47 Out of Zion shall go forth the law we can be skilled in his word where we can say to the world hey these are some laws we should follow amen. The world is is writing their laws and they’re hurting. So why isn’t the church allowed to write a law. That can help. The word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And so we want to be established in his ways. Revelations chapter 2 verse 4 in red letters we have Jesus saying this about one of the churches I have this against you that you have left your first love and we’re talking about knowing God we’re talking about the church and the goals what goals God has for you in your life and he’s talking to one of the churches he said you left your first love.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Isaiah 2:3 (NKJV)

Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

— Isaiah 2:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:47 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What is the first commandment?

▶ Watch this part (24:45)

Short answer: Love God with all your heart, soul and mind—kept by the commandments: no idols, His name not in vain, Sabbath, work, honor parents.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 24:45 In Matthew chapter 22 verse 37 Jesus says in red letters again you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind this is the first. And great commandment so that first love Jesus is explaining and Matthew what that first love is and that is who God. Loving God the first and greatest commandment is loving God and you shall love your neighbor as yourself on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. He says earlier I quoted the scripture to say if you love me you’ll keep my commandments if you say that you know him you’re going to keep his commandments so what are those commandments some of them here we’re going to go over in the ten commandments as you well know Exodus chapter 20 verse 3 you shall have no other gods before me you shall not make for yourself a carved image you shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain carved images uh or no other gods is idolatry you have another God the Bible says that greed is like idolatry when you love money.

▶ 26:07 It’s like idolatry you putting it above God you’re putting it and a lot of people have this problem in America they love money over God. Shall not make for yourself the carved image you shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain and when you look this up you know search you know taking the lord’s name in vain a lot of the times I’ll be talking about how you know people will say a word that takes his name in vain you got that part of it but also really what he’s talking about here is you are calling yourself a Christian. In vain meaning. In deception. You’re saying you’re a Christian because you want to get something out of God through deception.

▶ 27:00 You’re taking his name on. And say yeah I’m a Christian because you want something but you’re not willing to follow him serve him you’re just doing it in vain and you’re trying to deceive God like God is deceived. He’s not deceived he knows your heart. Remember the Sabbath day keep it holy we should be. God is reminds us in the New Testament when they were coming at him about the Sabbath he said the Sabbath was made for man you guys need to take a break once a week amen. Uh that’s very important. Six days shall you labor and do all your work we forget that other part of it working I know a lot of folks in here are hard workers so you hear that you say yes.

▶ 27:53 We work amen. And that’s very important for our next generation you got to remember it is your job to work to get an education to provide for yourself to become independent that should be your one of your goals one of your natural goals in life to work. To become independent. Next one here is honor your father and your mother and your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God has given you honor your father and your mother in America a lot of parents today are not honorable. If you didn’t grow up in a you know good home parents are not honorable these days so what do you do.

▶ 28:47 Well just think. How can I live a life that is honoring to my father and you just say how would I honor my father God that’s how I’m gonna honor my parents. Maybe they’re dishonorable maybe they mistreated me whatever it is if you live a life that honors God you’re gonna honor your parents. You shall not murder not commit adultery not steal and not bear false witness against your neighbor and lastly shall not covet your neighbor’s house covet means desire want it uh look at your name I wish I had that I wish I had what he had the Bible says in other scriptures be content. You know a lot of the New Testament they give you more understanding of what these commandments are talking about and Paul in the New Testament says be content.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 22:37-38 (NKJV)

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.

— Matthew 22:37-38 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 24:45 (quoted; reference not named in the message)
Scripture (NKJV)

Exodus 20:3-17 (NKJV)

“You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you. “You shall not murder. “You shall not commit adultery. “You shall not steal. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

— Exodus 20:3-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 26:07

How did Saul handle God’s command?

▶ Watch this part (29:45)

Short answer: He was told to utterly destroy Amalek but spared the king and the best—half of what God wanted.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 29:45 With what you have not coveting. So we’re going to look at Saul real quick and how he. Handled God’s commands. First Samuel chapter 15 verse 3 God gives him a command and he gives it through I think Samuel I don’t know if you talk to him directly but let me just start out by saying when you if you get a command from God. You better listen I mean we’re all complaining about how I can’t see God and I can’t hear God and you know he needs to make himself visible and audible well here we go he got it he got the message okay direct message direct direction. And still.

▶ 30:40 Saul does what he wants to do I know I’m ruining the story here but he gets a direct message from God now go and attack Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have and do not spare them and we look at this and we say how could God command him to do that you got to remember that God is the judge and he can judge whoever he wants to judge when he wants to judge them and he can use whoever he wants to judge. And you got to remember that he is in heaven and that we are eternal beings and those children and those young people that weren’t 20 years old yet they died and they’re going to stand before God. And he is the judge on whether or not he’s going to hold them accountable.

▶ 31:33 And maybe he gets to save a few of them right. But if you only if you only think that this is life and that’s it then yeah you’re going to act like oh God did the bad thing but it’s not a bad thing he’s passing judgment. So Saul attacked the Amalekites. And he spared the king I mean of all the people he spared. I mean he’s like the worst. He’s the he’s the guy in charge the leader he’s the most wicked person because he’s responsible for it all and he spares him. You know he doesn’t he spared. That’s that’s rough he spares the king and the best of the sheep the oxen the fatlings and the lambs and all that was good because back in those days when you attacked you took the some some of the spoils and you got to keep it for yourself but that’s not what God said God gave him direct commandment.

▶ 32:42 Direct command. You know he didn’t have to go look this up in Moses’s writings he didn’t have to go search it out and understand and get on it was plain it was clear it was direct it was delivered to him. And still. He wouldn’t listen. He did what he wanted or he did half of what God had wanted him to do and half of what he wanted to do. They were unwill unwilling to utterly destroy them but everything despised and worthless that they utterly destroyed. And so God is talking to Samuel in chapter 15 verse 10 first Samuel and he says Saul has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandment so here we are that statement right there that sounds a lot like loving God.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Samuel 15:3 (NKJV)

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ”

— 1 Samuel 15:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 29:45 (quoted; reference not named in the message)
Scripture (NKJV)

1 Samuel 15:9 (NKJV)

But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.

— 1 Samuel 15:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 31:33

How did Saul excuse himself?

▶ Watch this part (33:47)

Short answer: He blamed the people and claimed the plunder was for sacrifice—trying to work God over.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 33:47 He has not performed my commandments if you love me you will keep my commandments therefore you know if you know him if you keep my commandments. And Saul. Rejected. God rejected God’s commandments. And it says what he traded God for. Well actually let me get through this first verse 20 Saul’s reply is uh you know Samuel comes to Saul and he says Saul why’d you do what you did. He’s like but I have. I’m not guilty. I have obeyed the voice of the Lord and gone on the mission and brought back again king of Amalek so he’s making himself guilty I brought him back that’s not what I asked you to do.

▶ 34:50 So Saul here is trying to act like he’s innocent right and we do that all the time. I obeyed God and all this I just didn’t obey you here. But the people took of the plunder sheep and oxen the best of the things to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal so Saul says you know I want to get some extra credit with God. Or actually he’s trying to cover for his people here. You know why because they wanted the spoils. They wanted to get the best of the sheep for themselves they wanted to get the money out of it all. And now Saul is trying to come up with some excuse. We were going to sacrifice it to God.

▶ 35:45 He’s trying to work God over like God doesn’t know anything. They view God as so small. They think God can only do this or can only do that you know he created the world but it had to take him millions of years he created this but it had to do he couldn’t do that he you know come on guys. God is big God is great his power his love it’s just unlimited. It’s um he’s amazing. And so Saul here is acting like. You know God doesn’t know what’s up and he knows what’s going on and that’s why. That’s the problem you see God says to Samuel God that Saul has turned back from following me has not performed my commandments and God knows all the thoughts that Saul had he knows why Saul did it and God is giving this summary statement and Saul’s like how did you get to that conclusion you don’t know all of what I’ve done and God knows.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Samuel 15:20-21 (NKJV)

And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and gone on the mission on which the LORD sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.”

— 1 Samuel 15:20-21 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 33:47 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What did Samuel answer?

▶ Watch this part (36:56)

Short answer: To obey is better than sacrifice; without love we are nothing.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 36:56 He knows. And so Saul came up with some excuse. And Samuel’s reply to that was this very important statement a very uh a phrase that we know very well and he says to Saul Has the Lord as great delight and burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord behold to obey is better than sacrifice and this is important for us today you know we can’t just go into church and get our worship on and get our concert going and get our praise on and then on the other side we disobey God’s commandments see that is what’s happening here don’t you understand it’s better to obey than sacrifice so don’t you understand God I came into your house and we were worshiping you we’re dancing we got the music going we got everybody there and uh and God says what about what what happened when you went home did you love your children did you love your spouse.

▶ 38:08 Were you an example to me for example for me would you be living for me were you following my word and God is saying it’s so it’s better to obey and sacrifice first Corinthians chapter 13 verse 2. Though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains but have not love I am nothing though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though I give my body to be burned and have not love it profits me nothing and so Saul here did not have love for who he did not have love for God. Who was Saul trying to love he was trying to love himself and his neighbor he wanted to give his friends and the people spoils and himself.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Samuel 15:22 (NKJV)

So Samuel said: “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.

— 1 Samuel 15:22 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:56 (quoted; reference not named in the message)
Scripture (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 13:2 (NKJV)

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

— 1 Corinthians 13:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 38:08 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Can “love your neighbor” justify sin?

▶ Watch this part (39:09)

Short answer: No—that argument is used to approve all kinds of sin; loving neighbor must not reject God.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 39:09 Above what God asked him to do. And so that’s very important you have to make sure that when we love our neighbor we’re not in turn. Rejecting God. And this kind of argument is being used today to approve of all kinds of sin love your neighbor they will say in deception but when you love your neighbor the way they want you to love your neighbor you have to reject God and his word and that is wrong. So we look to David we’re moving to David now and how he handled God’s commands in second Samuel chapter 11 verse 4 David sent and took her talking about bathsheba and yes we’re going to use that common that story everybody knows she came to him and he lay with her they had sexual relations and they weren’t married uh that’s committing adultery he she was married already to Uriah.

Which commandments did David break?

▶ Watch this part (40:23)

Short answer: Coveting, adultery, lying and murder with Uriah—Joab didn’t have to obey; it gave enemies occasion to blaspheme.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 40:23 And so David here is committing all kinds. Uh he he’s breaking all kinds of commandments first of all he’s coveting right which you shall not covet then he’s committing adultery and then he brings Uriah to the picture he says go down to your house wash your feet and he’s trying to get him to go home because you know what’s going to happen he’s been gone a long time he sees his beautiful wife let’s get down. And so it was all deception and false lies that David brought him home so here he is committing. Lies breaking that commandment he wrote a letter unto Joab saying set your right at the forefront of the hottest battle retreat from him that he may be struck down and die so here he is murdering somebody and you know Joab didn’t have to do it.

▶ 41:20 The men didn’t have to do it. Or maybe you know we can’t necessarily blame the men they maybe didn’t know the whole story. But Joab knew. And Joab didn’t have to do it. Just because somebody in charge tells you to do something wrong doesn’t mean you do it. And so David here has violated four of the commandments that where you’re supposed to love your neighbor. And nathan the nathan the prophet comes and says. Gives them the story of the example of the sheep. You can go and look that up in second Samuel. But David after all that he says I have sinned against the Lord.

▶ 42:13 By this deed you have done great you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme. And the child who is born to you shall surely die. And so when we harm our neighbor like David is doing he did four things he broke four commandments that harm your neighbor adultery coveting uh fault lying and murmur that definitely hurts your neighbor four things against his neighbor that he broke. When he broke those he also. Sinned and he said this I have sinned against the Lord so he also did not love and broke commandment against God and nathan here says why you’ve given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

2 Samuel 12:14 (NKJV)

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.”

— 2 Samuel 12:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 42:13 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What did Judas do?

▶ Watch this part (43:15)

Short answer: He was a thief with the money box, loved money over God and betrayed Jesus.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 43:15 To say look at this guy he’s not following your word he’s doing sinful things and you’re blessing him why don’t you bless me too you’re unfair God. And they would be right. And so David here had a time where he was taking God’s name in vain he said oh I’m serving God when really he broke four of the commandments. Right. And he brought shame on his name. Going to Judas in John chapter 12 verse 4 one of those disciples Judas iscariot who would betray him said about the woman who was. Putting fragrant oil on Jesus and anointing him for his burial and also seeking forgiveness for her sins why has this fragrant oil not been sold for 300 denarii and given to the poor.

▶ 44:20 It said he said this not that he cared for the poor but because he was a thief and had the money box and he used to take what was put in it so Judas was a thief and what what is he breaking here what commandment he’s stealing. Right. And you could also say. He’s taken the name of the lord’s name of the Lord in vain Matthew chapter 26 verse 14. He went to the chief priests and he says what are you willing to give me if I deliver Jesus to you and they counted out to him 30 pieces of silver and so from that time he sought opportunity to portray betray Jesus Christ so Judas stole from the ministry.

▶ 45:14 Stealing from who. Who is he stealing from. Gee God Jesus. I mean if you’re gonna steal for somebody that’s the worst person to steal from. And then he betrays Jesus Christ commits treachery against Jesus Christ I mean if you’re going to submit commit treachery against anybody don’t pick God. So he took God’s name in vain yes I’m going to follow you Jesus. But why is he following because he’s trying to get something out of the whole program I’m going to get money out of this. I’m going to get some more money for betraying him I don’t care if he’s God I will take what the money.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Why was the sinful woman forgiven?

▶ Watch this part (46:15)

Short answer: She loved much—humbled herself and anointed His feet.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 46:15 And you could also say he’s greedy right the I mean he loves money over who God. A plain example so he’s got another God before. Idol agreed is like idolatry here it is. And then of course you have the woman. Who was anointing the feet. And she had many sins Jesus says therefore I say to you her sins which are many are forgiven for she loved much she loved much. Do we love God much. But to whom little is forgiven the same loves little.

▶ 47:10 And then he said to her your sins are forgiven you know I’m still trying to figure out why Jesus said she loved much I mean all he did she did was come in. And humble herself. And anoint his feet white and cry and wipe I mean but I would say that Christ knew her heart right. He knew what was going on inside that she genuinely. Knew she was wrong and she wanted to change. And as she came in to Christ himself and humbled herself and showed God. What she she didn’t know what else to do this is my act of love right. But this.

▶ 48:06 Is a specific example in the Bible where it says that somebody loved. God loved Jesus just came right out pursued Jesus to her fullest loved him and it’s a great example that we should follow we should humble ourselves how many know I. You know if you want to get God’s attention if you want him to forgive you all your sins I mean do what this woman did humble yourself come in weep before him. Put yourself out there. Acts chapter 15 verse 8 as we were saying before it says so God who knows the heart God knows our heart he knew Saul’s heart he knew David’s heart he knew Judas’s heart and the woman’s heart right.

Scripture (NKJV)

Why were David and the woman forgiven, but not Saul?

▶ Watch this part (49:06)

Short answer: Saul feared the people and would not accept correction; David repented with a right heart.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Michael Silla

▶ 49:06 But out of those four. Who were forgiven. David and the woman. Why. Saul said to Samuel I have sinned here he is he’s admitting he was wrong I have feared the people and obey their voice see right there he tells you what he did wrong I feared the people. I wanted to please the people. And obeyed their voice please pardon my sin he’s asking for pardon. Honor me now please before the elders of my people return with me that I may worship the Lord your God so even after he’s asking for I’m sorry I’m sorry please I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry. Forgive me forgive me forgive me for me don’t leave ah we got to go over here to the people and I don’t want to look bad.

▶ 50:03 Will you come with me. You see his heart right. And so God made a judgment the judgment that he made against Saul was that the kingdom. Is no longer yours. And he would not accept that correction. You know when God brings judgment or brings correction and you don’t accept it you’re rejecting God. And what happened to Saul what came to him a distressing spirit. And also ultimately he died. And he died in sin he was committing things that were wrong he did not love God. But David accepted God’s judgment.

▶ 50:58 He admitted he was wrong and he repented and turned from it and God said the Lord has put away your sin and God also knew David’s heart. And God is looking at our hearts. And he’s looking for a pure heart you want to have a pure heart before God you don’t want to be reserving all this stuff on the side the things that you’re going to do to deceive God or or you don’t want to do that get rid of that. Be honest with God. Judas was remorseful he brought back the 30 pieces of silver you remember that I have sinned by betraying innocent blood but then he went and he hanged himself you got to also remember in John chapter 13 verse 27 that Satan had entered Judas.

▶ 51:51 So even though he brought back the money. He didn’t get Satan out of his life. And I’m not going to get into Judas because he’s the son of perdition so. That’s that’s God’s he’s going to handle him but you see what I’m trying to say here Saul. Would not accept God’s correction his heart was wrong David’s heart was right Judas had Satan in his heart. If Satan’s in your heart need to get him out of your heart and the woman. It says her sins which are many are forgiven for she loved much and as the worship team comes we’re going to sing I love you Lord. God is asking us this morning are we taking the lord’s name in vain do we just want something out of God are we saying we’re Christians just.
