Godliness Equals Success 11/03/2019: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Pastor David G. Kincer teaches that godliness equals success, profitable for this life and the life to come. Paul’s encounter with eternal life changed everything he gloried in. Eternal life is shown by loving God and neighbor like the good Samaritan, loving at home, and offering spiritual sacrifices of praise as God’s temple, without fear of persecution.
Is godliness profitable?
Short answer: Godliness is profitable for all things, with promise of the life that now is and the life to come.
▶ 0:00 The life that now is and the life that is to come. In first Timothy 4:8. Godliness is profitable unto all things heaven the promise of the life that now is and the life that is to come okay two areas of life remember last week the suffix ness means the condition of the word before it so godly is the word before it so the condition of godly living for God. Believing in God is. Profitable. Now in math when you have a story problem the word is means equal.
Scripture in this part
1 Timothy 4:8 (NKJV)
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
— 1 Timothy 4:8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:00What is his equation?
Short answer: Godly living equals success: profit and value in your individual life, married life and all things.
▶ 1:00 The a equal b okay in a story problem a is is equal so godly living godly. Equals success. Profit. Value in all things that means your individual life your married life raising your children your financial life your health you name it godliness living for God doing what’s right will bring success is that an amen all. Right. In everything and then he points out two things the life that now is this you know I don’t want to wait to go to heaven to enjoy life in God to you I want to enjoy it now and the life to come okay and Luke.
Does Jesus bless in this life?
Short answer: Anyone who forsakes family, home and possessions for Him receives a hundredfold now in this time, and eternal life.
▶ 2:01 [unclear] remember Jesus said anyone that first has to has to forsake. Children family wife husbands a home possessions. Investments I will. Bless him now in this life with those things and in the life to come the age to come the world to come eternal life. So there is a world to come where we will live eternally with Christ in heaven or in the lake of fire forever there’s only two places to go to it’s not complicated now. With that being said. Two lives the life that now is the life to come.
Scripture in this part
Mark 10:29-30 (NKJV)
So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
— Mark 10:29-30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 2:01How did eternal life change Paul?
Short answer: When Paul experienced eternal life it directly changed his life that now is.
▶ 2:58 We’re going to be focusing in on Paul this morning the apostle Paul when Paul experienced eternal life. It directly changed his life that now is see and there’s that direct proportional math sign. If this increases this has to increase if this decreases this will decrease the two lives are directly proportional one to another amen and so we want to keep increasing our life in Christ which will directly bring a what a better and successful life here on earth all right now. So it directly changed Paul’s life as we will continue here in the life that now is now remember there’s two ways to enter into eternal life one is at the resurrection you’re going to come out of your grave your spirits going to come back to your body your body’s going to come back together and you’re going to come out of the grave with that body that has no blood that eternal immortal body and you’re.
▶ 4:18 Going to live with Christ forever and ever okay that’s in the age to come we got it now but in John 17:3 and you know Daniel spoke of this Daniel spoke of this in Daniel 12 he says that the last day the end time the everyone’s going to be resurrected some to everlasting shame and contempt and some to eternal life right at the last day. But John 17:3 says this is Jesus this is Jesus talking this is eternal life that. All may know you the only true God and his son Jesus Christ wow so I can have eternal life now.
▶ 5:15 Through knowing. Christ and God in that beautiful I don’t have to wait for the age to come I can possess that part of eternal life now now we’re going to back it up with scripture we’re going to go to Galatians chapter 6 and Paul now folks you got to understand this. Paul is writing from experience. Not like people who write books telling us what Paul said or Jesus said or the prophet Isaiah said these guys spoke from experience. They’re speaking from what they know to be true by experience in these things there’s a big difference and all us ministers can do and you can do is tell.
Scripture in this part
John 17:3 (NKJV)
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
— John 17:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 4:18Can we add our opinions?
Short answer: No. All we can do is say what Jesus, the apostles and the prophets said; we can’t add to or take away from the word.
▶ 6:12 Others what Jesus and the apostles and the prophets said is that an amen that’s all we can do. We can’t give our opinions we can’t add to the word we can’t take away from the word and so you’re getting this message straight from Paul who experienced this now. Paul says many and he’s talking to the Galatians believers many believers. Desire and constrain they compel you to be circumcised and it was an ex a group of brethren came up from Jerusalem telling the church and the other nations that they had to be circumcised to be safe okay and Paul says. These brethren don’t keep the law you.
Do outward rules make you godly?
Short answer: No. Groups make rules like not wearing pants, but people still hate, covet and lie.
▶ 7:08 Say they don’t know no their parents they did they don’t stop hating and murdering and coveting and lying and and all these things they don’t keep the law but they keep circumcision. Because they want to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ at that time the Jews persecuted anyone that believed in Jesus so these believers got circumcised to avoid being mistreated. Are you that and if you know your Bible you know Paul is telling the truth all right and they also want to glory in your flesh you see it’s something we can do in our flesh to have eternal life we can’t cut our hair we can’t grow beards that we got to grow beards.
▶ 8:08 You know you can’t wear pants or you can wear a pen some kind of fleshly thing see to make you a part of our group that distinguishes you from a part of the group you understand and so to avoid being. Rejected we let our hair go down to our ankle or you know we don’t wear jewelry or we don’t wear pants or whatever it is some fleshly outward thing. Now. Paul says this I glory in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ now watch this you see their glorying because people are following their ways but Paul says I don’t glory in that I glory in the cross the death of the Lord Jesus Christ and he says this powerful statement.
What did Paul glory in?
Short answer: Only in the cross of Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me and I to the world.
▶ 9:11 By whom the world is crucified unto me and I unto the world. Godliness. Amen he said I glory in the cross when Christ met me on that road to Damascus and I saw his death burial and resurrection for my sins and I experienced God I died to the world and the world died to me I became one that pursued godliness. In that beautiful now he’s talking from his own experience an experience that all of us can have now. In Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything nor against circumcision nothing you can do in the flesh winner than a thousand souls to Christ will not get you eternal life it just gives a thousand people eternal life.
Scripture in this part
Galatians 6:14 (NKJV)
But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
— Galatians 6:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 9:11Do we work for eternal life?
Short answer: No; we don’t work to get eternal life, but we do good works because the gospel tells us to.
▶ 10:18 And then there’s nothing you can do that’s why people emphasize not by works we don’t work to try to get eternal life but we work good works because the gospel tells us to be a light to the world that they may see your good works and bring honor to your father in heaven amen. We’re not earning we’re putting forth an effort so. This is in Galatians six eleven you see and Paul is speaking from experience now folks when we experience eternal life there something happens within us to deny and leave the world and come in to his ways you see he says the only thing that avails anything is the new creature remember up here we said Paul experience eternal life and it directly changed his life that now is the way he was living now you got understand Paul.
Scripture in this part
Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV)
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
— Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 10:18Who was Paul before Christ?
Short answer: He hated and persecuted Christians and consented to Stephen’s stoning, seeking his leaders’ approval.
▶ 11:26 Was one that hated Christians he persecuted Christians he beat him he put him in jail and even stoned innocent Stephen or had him stone are you there I mean Paul was a mean machine. The Bible says he was the number one sinner the number one guy. Nobody can be a worse sinner than Paul he rejected Christ he had heard the messages but rejected Christ as the messiah and he said I lived my life to please the leaders of the Pharisee religion. He was do persecuting these people to gain a position in his Pharisee church there were Pharisees Sadducees and different groups of Jews and so he was living his life to be.
▶ 12:25 Accepted by the church leaders and but when he experienced eternal life he said I don’t glory and that stuff anymore I glory in the cross of Jesus Christ who put me to death to the world and the world to death to me amen godliness now. The Bible tells us two ways to possess eternal life he that believes on the son has everlasting life. All right and this is the popular one you hear it all the time how many hear it all the time just a few of you are you hearing anything. Okay this is the one this is the one John 3:16 of football games and all that this is the one that’s always broadcast everywhere he that believes on Jesus has eternal life but you can believe in God and you can believe in Jesus and not know Jesus or God.
▶ 13:31 And I can prove it. Paul. Who was a Pharisee and trying to gain the approval of his church leaders. Jesus said to the Pharisees the Sadducees and the scribes that you make converts two times more the children of hell than you are see they weren’t going to heaven because they believed in God. Are you there. Could that be true today we can believe but not know and it’s the knowing that compels us and moves us to live godly and then our Christian life becomes a successful life.
Scripture in this part
Acts 8:1 (NKJV)
Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
— Acts 8:1 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 11:26Philippians 3:5-7 (NKJV)
circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.
— Philippians 3:5-7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 12:25What must you do to inherit eternal life?
Short answer: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind, and your neighbor as yourself.
▶ 14:25 Are you with me now. We’re gonna go to Luke chapter 10 verse 25 last week we showed you a rich ruler came to Christ and asked what good thing must he do to possess and have eternal life today we’re going to go to Luke chapter 10 and a skillful expert in the Bible law in the Old Testament law came to Jesus to trap him too tricky and this. Expert in the Old Testament said to Jesus what must I do to have eternal life. And so Jesus knowing all things knowing this guy is a Bible expert.
▶ 15:22 Said what does the Bible say what does the scripture say and so the guy answered and says love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind you’ve strengthened mine and love your neighbor as yourself see he didn’t go to the ten commandments. He went to the two top commandments that the whole Bible says summarized in everything in the Bible the Bible says is summarized in two laws love God love your neighbor as yourself so you must love yourself if you’re gonna love your neighbor because if you don’t love yourself how in the world you’re gonna love your neighbor if you’re doing harm to yourself. All right so these two commandment I don’t care how much of the Bible you know or don’t know if you know this you know the whole book the whole book was written to explain loving God and loving your neighbor and loving yourself by doing no harm love is patient love is kind love doesn’t promote itself doesn’t most of itself doesn’t keep records of wrongs done to it wow wouldn’t that be nice.
▶ 16:46 See isn’t proud isn’t arrogant they believeth all things hopeth all things endureth all things love never quits it never gives up and so the whole Bible is about it. So. The expert in the law turned to Jesus and said well because why is he there to trap Jesus to trick him to get him to say something wrong so the expert in the law says who’s my neighbor he was my neighbor I look at all these people know which ones am I supposed to love so Jesus gives us great parable of a Jew going down to jericho and robbers robbed him beat him and left him for dead the priest from the temple came along walked on the other side passed him right by the levi came from the tribe of levi where all the priests came from came back and he walked on the other side and the Samaritan which was a mixed-race and a mixed religion that Assyria had brought over to Israel they brought their religion with him and they incorporated the Jewish religion into their religion and so the Jews hated.
Scripture in this part
Luke 10:25-27 (NKJV)
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?” So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
— Luke 10:25-27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 14:251 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NKJV)
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
— 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 16:46Who was the good neighbor?
Short answer: The Samaritan, hated by the Jews, stopped, tended the wounds and paid the inn.
▶ 18:13 Samaritans you know what the Bible says so this guy that was hated by the Jew that was beaten and robbed stops. Helps him tends to his wounds took him to an inn paid the money for him to get well. So Jesus then turns to the scripture expert and says. Which one of these is his neighbor the levi the priest or the Samaritan and now the expert in the scriptures was trapped. The trapper got trapped and he says I suppose. The one who showed mercy he said you answered correctly again go and do likewise show mercy to those that show you mercy treat people right to those who treat your right whether they’re your religion your your race or your level in society or not it doesn’t matter when people treat you with love you are responsible to treat them back and please get this church love is a two-way street.
Scripture in this part
Luke 10:33-35 (NKJV)
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’
— Luke 10:33-35 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:13Can a husband just say submit?
Short answer: No. Husbands must love their wives as Christ loved the church; it’s a two-way street, and dysfunctional homes come when someone isn’t loving back.
▶ 19:44 See a husband in a home cannot say submit woman. Without going to the other scriptures and loving his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it are you there a wife can’t disrespect her husband and say you got to love me like Christ loved the church now and then she talks about him yells at him screams at him off doing her own thing not keeping the house up and all the rest you know she has a responsibility. To love her husband and respect her husband are you there when you’re raising kids it works the same way you can’t tell kids you can’t smoke and you can’t drink while you’re smoking and drinking. At what age does wrong become legal no age is it you got to be an example to those kids and you got to train them up in the ways of God by training yourself up in the ways of God how you gonna train them up in the ways of God if you’re not training yourself up in the ways of God you got nothing to say to them.
▶ 21:02 It’s a two-way street and so why do we have dysfunctional homes in America because somebody isn’t loving back. It’s that simple. We go to psychiatrists and everybody looking for answers to these these family problems and all this and the whole answer is in the Bible and it’s called l.o.v.e love. It’s a two-way street and when somebody isn’t getting love back eventually there’s going to be a breakage and now right you can’t stretching the relationship like a rubberband it will break oh. Yeah.
▶ 21:54 So 50% of Christians are getting divorced today 50% of children in the homes Christian homes are a mess because the parents don’t raise them up in the ways of the Lord and become that example and the source of it is they never got to know God in Jesus because knowing God in Jesus directly affects the way you treat others. Is that a good amen. And I was fortunate back there to really get saved and get filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit I really got to know God and though I didn’t know the word when people would say things and do certain things I’d say I don’t have an answer for you but that isn’t the God I met but I’ll get an answer from that Bible and when next time I seen him I had a scripture to back me up see when you know him you know he doesn’t talk that way behave that way believe that way you don’t understand the Bible yet see Paul even after he got changed on the road to Damascus had to go out to the desert for several years and learn the Bible.
Scripture in this part
Ephesians 5:25 (NKJV)
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
— Ephesians 5:25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 19:44Why learn the Bible if you know God?
Short answer: So you have two confirmations: the Holy Spirit telling you and the Bible backing it up.
▶ 23:17 So even when you know God you still got to learn the Bible so that you have two confirmations the Holy Spirit telling you and the Bible backing it up is that a good amen otherwise you’ll come up with crazy doctrines now. Let’s jump over to Daniel chapter 11 verse 31 this is not just a New Testament thing about knowing God all right it also was in the Old Testament to know him now. Daniel 11:31 as most of you know if you are a student of end times the post tribulation people.
Where does the seven-year tribulation idea come from?
Short answer: From Daniel; he argues the sacrifices ended when Jesus died and Rome destroyed the temple in 70 AD.
▶ 23:58 The pre-tribulation people the mid-tribulation and the pre-wrath all believe in this seven-year tribulation period and they get it from Daniel the book of Daniel all right so he is talking about the abomination of desolation and they’ve heard that abomination of desolation boys sounds really a spirit of woe okay he’s talking about people that live evil lives from being flattered now what does that mean I mean oh the Bible says that don’t answer a fool according to his foolish nisour you’ll become like it in other words don’t approve of the fools foolishness or are.
▶ 24:58 You that but then it says answer a fool according to his foolishness lest he be wise in his own eyes wise in his own conceit so there has to be an answer to foolish beliefs is that an amen you can’t just want people to like you somewhere you’ve got to stand up for truth see Paul standing up for truth standing up. For knowing God and living godly it cost him time in prison he got beat several times he got stoned once and then the end of his life he was a martyr it cost him his life to preach the righteousness of God. Now illya but in this season at the end time there are people that are flattering evil doers instead of correcting them and preaching the Bible they are flattering you oh you’re okay I’m okay everybody’s okay you got it now this this I’m giving you a picture of what Daniel said what happened at the end chapter 11 and 12 I want to remind you that okay.
▶ 26:18 All these things happen at the end and he says the strength of my sanctuary my dwelling place the strength of my dwelling place they will cease to offer daily sacrifices so immediately most of these people out there want to think they’re gonna go back to a natural temple and sacrifice natural animals and I may have heard that oh come on if you heard anything that’s what they’re preaching out there some antichrist is going to come up and they’re going to build a temple and they’re gonna offer a pig on the offer well. The daily sacrifices are removed from the strength of his sanctuary now how many know the New Testament opens up the truth of the temple he says God does not live in temples made by hands you see Jesus said this temple is going to be destroyed.
▶ 27:23 When Jesus died on the cross he ended the animal sacrifice you know right yes and so because the Jews kept doing it God had the roman army to come in in 70 ad and destroy the temple just see Jesus said this temple is going to be destroyed get rid of and so the roman army came in and destroyed it carry all the temple furniture back to rome melted down the ark of the covenant that everybody’s looking for and the candlestick and the altar of incense and all the rest melted it down made korn’s out of it and they’re still looking for it. All right. Now.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 9:27 (NKJV)
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”
— Daniel 9:27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:58Daniel 11:31 (NKJV)
And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.
— Daniel 11:31 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 26:18What sacrifices do we offer now?
Short answer: We are living stones built into a spiritual house; we offer the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of our lips.
▶ 28:15 Let me submit this to you the New Testament says we are being built up a spiritual house to offer spiritual sacrifices see we are living stones see we are the temple of God the Bible says and the spirit of God dwells in us so we are his strong temple. Amen now you got to understand this in. Hebrews it says the old covenant was done away with and the new one was established now why would God want to go back and re-establish an old covenant when he has initiated a new one. Amen now instead of offering animal sacrifices what do we do Hebrews 13:15.
▶ 29:14 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice the what sacrifice of praise the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name we don’t offer animals anymore we offer praise and thanksgiving to him amen and people want to stop that sacrifice. Alleluia. And he doesn’t stop there he goes on and says do good say the word do good do good and then he doesn’t stop there see praise do good and he doesn’t stop he says one more thing in Hebrews. Carnea.
▶ 30:09 You’re most of your translations translated as. sharing or something like that but it’s the word koinonia it’s fellowship that is so strong it is a partnership. They’re united for a purpose so praise do good and con ania partnership for with these sacrifices God is well pleased these sacrifices what sacrifices praise. Doing good and con ania. Partnership. Unity stay united. Amen.
▶ 31:04 In that powerful so I submit to you. We are God’s glorious temple Hebrews tells us and when people come in and stop the church from sacrificing unto God him worship us worshipping him in spirit and truth to praise and thanksgiving and doing good how many you know Hebrews also said forsake not the assembling of yourself together even the more so as you see the day approaching provoking one another to love and to good work see car nanaia doesn’t divide it partners to attain a goal of living good the sacrifice of doing good the sacrifice of praise and worship unto God.
▶ 31:57 The sacrifice of uniting with someone that drives you nuts. In the flesh having no people just drive you nuts. Now it’s in this atmosphere it’s in these truths Daniel says this. People that no God shall be strong and do exploits wow. During the time of the abomination of desolation during the time of these people living lives by flattery during this time of the sacrifice is being shut down in God’s real temple there is a people that know God that know God amen and because they know God they don’t fall for this stuff but they do what great exploits they are strong people see that he said that’s nice I strengthened my my centuary he didn’t say my sanctuary he said the strength of my sanctuary and here he says these people that know God will be strong that’s my sanctuary in these people that are strong and do great things.
▶ 33:21 Good things are you with me. Hallelujah. Now. He continues you see pre-tribulation people got us raptured out of this abomination of desolation and tribulation and all that are you there but Daniel is saying these people are right in the middle of it they know God they are strong and they that understand shall instruct many. During this abomination to desolation and all this stuff going on there’s a people to have understanding and they’re what teachin the scriptures these people that understand and instructing many these people that are strong and do exploits they are persecuted Daniel said by the sword by famine by captivity by taking their property their spoils they are persecuted during this time of the abomination of desolation at the end.
Scripture in this part
1 Peter 2:5 (NKJV)
you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
— 1 Peter 2:5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:15Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
— Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 29:14Should we fear persecution?
Short answer: No. Know God, don’t give in to flattery, and don’t be afraid of people mistreating you.
▶ 34:30 How I. See not everybody gives in to flattery flattery is they you know just speak in nice words to people because you want to get along with them. But when you know God you don’t want that person going to hell and you don’t want that person if they don’t want to go to heaven affecting others to go to hell so you’re gonna speak up and this is what Daniel is saying see Daniel backs up aw doesn’t he no. But these people that are persecuted these people that are strong that have understanding and teach others he said in this persecution they are made white. Pure see God turns. The persecution into improving.
▶ 35:22 Their spirits of life how many could use some improvement in your spiritual life okay don’t be afraid of persecution don’t be afraid of people mistreating you hating you and disliking you don’t be afraid of that if you react right it will do nothing but make you a better Christian. They don’t run with the fools. Stay away from the fools. But teach the fools the right thing. Amen. Now. I submit to you this morning now you can have both sides of eternal life.
▶ 36:17 Believing in Christ. And when you die you’ll be resurrected. But what good is that if you’re mistreating people hating people and you don’t know God and you’re no light to the world. See if my belief is not affecting those around me there’s something wrong I need to add what knowing God knowing Jesus to my bag of wisdom. Hallelujah it changed Paul and it took Paul about seven years being in the desert studying the scriptures daily to get the scriptures down to where see just because you experienced God and this is one of the problems in Pentecost and charismatic circles I mean I was filled with the Holy Ghost I spoke in tongues and all that this is one of the problems that they didn’t have the teaching that just because you got filled with power doesn’t mean you’re ready to go out there and teach anybody anything.
▶ 37:36 You got to know the scriptures and so immediately because I knew God I went to as I’ve told you before a soul-winning class because I wanted to tell people this great news when I knew God I want everybody to know him so I had to learn how to lead people to Christ but it took years before I could get answers from the scriptures to answer these people’s questions and masses I told you I’d always say I don’t know the answer to that but I know the God that I know isn’t like that and the next time I see you I’ll have an answer for you have you know that’s fair and I would I go home open that book up get on my knees and ask God give me an answer for that and he did and I kept writing all the answers in my Bible and the white pages of my Bible and pretty soon I had all the answers all I had to do was flip to the back of my Bible and number 14 that’s the answer and I could take him to the scripture are you with me you could know God and that.
▶ 38:42 Knowing God will directly change your life as you grow in him your life on earth will also grow and be blessed hello there. And the new covenant says what all shall know me all shall what know me from the least to the greatest oh shall know me that’s the new covenant why do we want to go back to an old covenant the new covenant is perfect amen. Now most of us Bible scholars know that prophecies can be fulfilled two times. The messiah for instance Jesus came was born of a virgin. To die for the sins of the world and build his church that same messiah is coming again at the end of this age and now right.
▶ 39:47 So the abomination of desolation that was done on the Jews can also happen to his church at the end great persecution stopped you from serving God people want you to serve God their way no one has a right to tell you how to serve God if it violates the Bible oh. Yeah a husband a wife a child a father a mother they must tell you the right way or you must follow the right way and that means there’s a separation how can two walk together except they be agreed and so the the wise person should never agree and follow the fool the wise persians should stick with what is wise what is good and let the fool make his own decision.
Scripture in this part
Daniel 11:32 (NKJV)
