God Said to Us Concerning Jesus 9/10/2017: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Pastor David G. Kincer teaches what God said to us about Jesus in Isaiah 52:13–53: the exalted Servant marred more than any man, the arm of the Lord bared before all nations. Jesus appears to people, gives power to become blameless sons of God in a crooked generation, bore our sicknesses and by his stripes heals our sins. Believing without repenting and doing right is not the whole formula.
What is too easy for Jesus?
Short answer: Isaiah 49:6: restoring Israel is too light a thing—and it’s too easy for Jesus to restore you if you’ve fallen away. The harder thing: a light to the nations, salvation to the ends of the earth.
▶ 0:00 God said specific things to Jesus you remember and the first one in Isaiah 49:6 it is too light too easy of a thing that you should be my servant Jesus is whose servant God’s servant this is God talking. Jesus is whose servant God’s servant and it’s too easy that Jesus can raise up the tribes of Jacob and restore their survivors of Israel it’s too easy for him to restore his fallen people have you ever backslid don’t raise your hand yeah we don’t want to know you see have you ever fallen away from God well God is saying it’s too easy for Jesus to restore you why make it difficult on yourself just get back in man can I hear an amen yeah all right that’s too easy the hard thing is I will also give you for a light to the what nations who weren’t all discovered until [unclear] the late 1700 and my salvation may extend to what the end of the earth we didn’t know there was other places until.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 49:6 (NKJV)
Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
— Isaiah 49:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:05Who is God’s servant?
Short answer: Isaiah 52:13: my servant shall deal wisely and be exalted—Jesus, the name above every name, the name the world hates you to speak.
▶ 1:19 The 1400s. then we begin to discover other [unclear] people in other places are you with me but God seeing this way back hundreds of years ago prophesied what was going to be happening in our day that should get you excited [unclear] Lord anyway here we’re going to Isaiah 52 verses 13 and chapter 53 through verse 12 God said to us God speaks directly to us concerning Jesus Christ all right now. My servants shall deal wisely and he shall be exalted and praised and be very high who is God’s servant who is God’s servant are you afraid to say Jesus.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 52:13 (NKJV)
Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
— Isaiah 52:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 2:00 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What did the Servant look like?
Short answer: Isaiah 52:14: marred more than any man—beaten with whips and fists, beard pulled out, crowned with thorns, pierced. That’s how you’ll recognize him: by the scars.
▶ 2:14 Who does Jesus serve. Let’s say with enthusiasm. Who is God’s servant Jesus yeah the name above every name. That’s the name the world hates you to speak because it separates us from the religions of the world God everybody uses but not everybody likes Jesus all right my servant shall deal wisely and he will be exalted and praised and be very high. His appearance and his form are marred more than any man and many are shocked at his appearance in his form this is the post crucified Jesus that God is referring to not the pre crucified Jesus not the transfiguration Jesus not the Revelation Jesus but the post crucified Jesus they beat him with whips they beat him with their fists they pulled his beard out they put a crown of thorns on his head they pierced his hands his feet and his side and he is scarred more than any man from all of that.
▶ 3:42 Beating he understand that. Alleluia. Disfigured scarred defaced we see pictures of Jesus and at the most they show little scars in his hand and you know if he’s not wearing a shirt a scar and his side folks his body from head to toe was scarred it was marred more than any man the crown of thorns put scars on him and that’s how you’re gonna recognize him when he comes as the post crucified Christ the scars. The mar. We think of Jesus here smiling with a beard let the kids up blessing them oh yeah handsome Jesus.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 52:14 (NKJV)
Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men;
— Isaiah 52:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 2:56 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How will the nations react?
Short answer: Isaiah 52:15: he will startle many nations; kings will be speechless and see what had not been told them and consider it. He believes the post-crucified Christ will be revealed before he comes.
▶ 4:43 This is the Jesus God is talking about in Isaiah the disfigured the scarred the marred Jesus the one that took a horrendous beating and pain so you could have eternal life it’s a beautiful story. He’ll startle many nations many people but not all people some people just don’t give a hoot. Some people are just hard all right. Kings rulers government rulers are speechless. For that which had not been told them they will what see. See and what consider they’re going to rethink their opinion now what has not been told them what are they going to see.
▶ 5:44 this marred Jesus more than any man that’s the context of the scripture not the pre crucified Christ not the transfigured Christ not the Christ in Revelation riding on his white horse they’re gonna see the marred scarred Christ that took that beating that pain for you and everyone in the world. Now I mean you know when I say I saw Mount Rushmore that with my eyes I saw it. it isn’t some fantasy it’s not a vision I saw it. All right when you look on the [unclear] and like last night me and my wife were driving and a beautiful sunset she said do you see the beautiful sunset.
▶ 6:40 We saw with our eyes the sunset. We’re going to see a Revelation of Jesus the post crucified Christ revealing himself in the world before Christ come. And it’s going to change a lot of people’s thinking now. He’s also going to be seen because he did this as one wise [unclear] he saved the world through this wise act of dying for us and because he did that he was exalted. He’s given a name above every name and God exalted him above everything and we praised him today why because of what he did and he’s very high all authority in heaven and earth is given unto him just like God said isn’t that beautiful written hundreds of years before it happened it came to pass and we are benefactors of that.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 52:15 (NKJV)
So shall He sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, And what they had not heard they shall consider.
— Isaiah 52:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:18 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does Isaiah 52:10 say?
Short answer: The Lord has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God—Jesus.
▶ 7:46 this is the marred Jesus. Closest thing I could find. They beat this guy to a pulp. They beat him with their fists they plucked out his beard they put those crowns of thorns on him that dug into his skin. But we would rather see this Jesus. But God’s gonna reveal the post crucified Christ nations are going to see it government leaders are gonna rethink now to make it clear Isaiah 52:10 the Lord has made bare his holy arm in the what eyes of how many all nations all people and like I said all nations were not discovered until the late 1700s one by one we started discovering them after the fourteen hundred so this prophecy was written for our time.
▶ 8:53 are you out there. This is really rich stuff. That God has the foreknowledge to do all of this and speak it before it happened all. The ends of the earth shall what see the salvation of our God now who is the arm of the Lord and who is the salvation of our God all right they’re not going to see the judgment of God that’s what they’re going to see when Christ comes and that pre-wrath season that
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 52:10 (NKJV)
The LORD has made bare His holy arm In the eyes of all the nations; And all the ends of the earth shall see The salvation of our God.
— Isaiah 52:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:26How should we interpret Scripture?
Short answer: Let scripture interpret scripture. He recalls a commune running a so-called Christian restaurant that interpreted Scripture its own way.
▶ 9:31 Precedes his coming okay but they’re going to see his holy arm and the salvation of our God. So you know who the holy arm is you always let scripture interpret scripture alright I see so many people interpreting scriptures themselves when I was taken to a so-called Christian restaurant down here by San Diego and immediately I knew these people were different by the way they dress where they were their hair the way they acted the way they talked and so I dug into what they were and they were a communal type people they said they worked in that restaurant for free they didn’t work for free all the proceeds from that restaurant went to the commune and they got their clothing and their food and their health and everything from there they’re lying but the tracts that they had [unclear] they interpreted the scriptures themselves they said things about the parables that was ridiculous I told those with me they didn’t they can’t even get the parables of the sower right let alone the rest of the scriptures they they interpreted to some fluffy thing you know huh.
▶ 10:50 And I also know that they won’t hear the gospel so after talking to them and all that I [unclear] bothered with them anymore I just enjoyed the company I was with are you with me them communes have what they call flirty [unclear] they send their girls out to flirt with guys and even have sex with them to get them in [unclear] I mean these are people that break up homes and oh they look and they have names you know. What I’m telling you is you cannot interpret the scripture yourself you’ve got to let scripture interpret scripture can I hear an amen. Alleluia when you hear somebody say I believe that’s what they’re doing when they say God’s word says that’s a different story.
Who is the arm of the Lord?
Short answer: Isaiah 53:1–2: to whom is the arm revealed? He grows up as a tender plant, a root out of dry ground—the root and offspring of David, Jesus. No beauty that we should desire him.
▶ 11:45 Who has believed our report to whom has the say it arm of the Lord been revealed see [unclear] bare his holy arm who has the arm of the Lord been revealed it’s been revealed to what all nations see all the earth shall see the arm of the Lord it’s going to be revealed to them are you with me. Isn’t it good to get understanding of God’s word yeah rather than just reading the scripture oh well. Now look he follows who’s going to whom is the arm of the Lord been revealed he the arm of the Lord shall grow up before him as a tender plant as a root out of the dry ground who is the root in the offspring of David Jesus. Jesus is the arm of the Lord that’s going to be revealed going to be exposed to how many people all people all nations.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 53:1-2 (NKJV)
Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
— Isaiah 53:1-2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 11:45 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Has Jesus appeared to people?
Short answer: Many times: in the fiery furnace, to Daniel, as the pillar of cloud and fire, to Stephen (Acts 7:55), to Paul and Ananias, to 500 at once (1 Corinthians 15:6). He reads of many seeing Jesus today, especially in Muslim countries.
▶ 12:45 He has no form or comeliness that when we see him there is no beauty that we should desire him that’s the post crucified Christ. There’s no beauty in that the only beauty in that is you recognize he did that for you that you could have eternal life and live with him forever hallelujah. [unclear] that’s the beauty of it but there’s no natural beauty. so we asked ourselves the question how can all people see the marred scarred Jesus how can that be is that a good question yes. Then I reminded you this is a review that Jesus appeared nine times I found a couple more times last time I said seven nine times well in heaven.
▶ 13:49 Plus he revealed himself twelve or more times. After his death on the cross and before he ascended into heaven he literally appeared okay in Daniel he appeared to Nebuchadnezzar as the son of God in the fiery furnace to Daniel he appeared as the son of man in the presence of the almighty in Exodus he appeared as a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. in Acts 7:55 Stephen when he died heaven was open and he saw Jesus the son of man standing at the right hand of the glory of God and the Jesus only [unclear] say there’s only one person up there this scripture makes you a liar.
▶ 14:51 Stephen didn’t lie he saw God in the flesh standing beside God on the throne in heaven two beings and guess which one is coming back. The one that’s standing by God on the throne God in the flesh is coming back. Hallelujah. Paul saw Christ as a light on a road to Damascus and heard a voice God literally spoke to him and he saw the light and a light blinded him he appeared to Ananias in a vision and Paul the second time in a vision a vision is not the actual person you see a picture and first Corinthians 15:6 he bodily appeared to 500 people at one time in his physical body 500 at one time.
▶ 16:03 As he did to the twelve apostles over and over he appeared to them in the upper room and when they were hiding out and then he would disappear and he would appeared he appeared to them on the road to Emmaus and he he he manifested himself he appeared in bodily form his post crucified body. Hallelujah. So in. Revelations John saw the white-haired Jesus with eyes of fire and feet of brass he saw also Jesus as the son of man and a slain lamb and Revelations John saw this and a vision so folks if Jesus can appear in the Old Testament and he can appear in the New Testament over and over and I mean even the gospel of John says at the end that if everything was written of what he said and did the world could not contain the books but these are written that you might believe we don’t know how many times he appeared.
▶ 17:12 But we do have a record of his appearance now if he can appear back then and back in the Old Testament can he appear as the post crucified Christ in the last day generation yes he can he [unclear] doesn’t ask your permission to do anything when he writes it he will do it now. Many people are seeing Jesus today I’ve been reading about it for twenty years especially in Muslim countries and in India and places like that where Christ literally appears to them and gives them guidance of where to go the Muslims mainly he says I’m Jesus I’m the one you’re seeking yeah you need to follow me and they see him and many have left the Muslim religion by seeing.
▶ 18:09 Jesus Christ either in a vision or bodily form are you with me and it’s scriptural for him to do that now most of these testimonies that I read describe not the marred scarred Jesus. They described in their seeing him and the light the white robe and the transfigured Jesus or the native Jesus in South America when I ministered Christ would appear to these tribes out in the back jungles and when you asked him or what’d he look like he looked like one of us. It appeared like them why.
Scripture in this part
Acts 7:55 (NKJV)
But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
— Acts 7:55 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:491 Corinthians 15:6 (NKJV)
After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep.
— 1 Corinthians 15:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:48Who rejected him?
Short answer: Isaiah 53:3. Luke 7:30: the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God, not being baptized. John 1:11: he came to his own and they received him not—the church could do the same today.
▶ 19:01 they wouldn’t have known the [unclear] Jesus the Syrian Jesus they would know. Jesus like them they could you know they could relate I was amazed when I hear it in Africa when I hear it in South America and different place it’s just amazing that God is not handicapped by our American mentality of who he is are you with me hallelujah. Now if you want to know what Jesus really looked like before he was crucified take a look at [unclear]. He’s a Syrian.. Jesus was a Syrian did you know that yeah you know they show him there’s a white Jesus and all that [unclear] looking guy and even.
▶ 19:56 Before he was crucified [unclear] no comeliness no beauty that you would desire. Yes [unclear] a beard no I mean no he didn’t have to have a beard but Jesus had a beard other than that that’s the skin colour of Jesus Christ a lot of people don’t know he was a Syrian.. Now. We go on Isaiah 53 he is despised and rejected of men a man of sorrows acquainted with grief we hid our faces from him he was despised and we esteemed him not then we went to Luke 7:30 the Pharisees and lawyers the the people that studied the scriptures was the lawyers the scribes they rejected the counsel of God being not baptized of him what was the counsel of God John the Baptist brought it what was the message repent and be baptized for the remission the deliverance the forgiveness of sin they rejected the counsel of God Jesus when he preached his first message added to it repent and be baptized and believed the gospel the whole message.
▶ 21:25 are you out there and they rejected when you reject baptism you’re rejecting Jesus Christ and his counsel when you reject repentance not changing your lifestyle to his lifestyle you are rejecting Jesus Christ do you understand that and this is what Isaiah is talking about. Yeah in John 1:11 he was in the world and the world knew him not that’s the post I mean that’s the pre crucified Jesus and the short period after his crucifixion the world didn’t know him but all nations have not been discovered yet. He came into his own the Jews and his own what received him not is it possible that he could come to the church today and because of their preconceived opinionated beliefs.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 53:3 (NKJV)
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
— Isaiah 53:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 19:01 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Luke 7:30 (NKJV)
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.
— Luke 7:30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 20:48John 1:11 (NKJV)
He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
— John 1:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:50What did that verse do for him?
Short answer: John 1:12: as many as received him, he gave power to become sons of God. Philippians 2:15: blameless, harmless, without fault in a crooked generation, shining as lights.
▶ 22:24 Reject Jesus Christ very possible. That’s why it’s important that you know him. Amen. The Jews are not the only one that can blind themselves to the real Jesus how many don’t want to be blinded to the real Jesus how many want the whole counsel of God yes. All right now this is powerful this really changed me as a young Christian verse 12 of John chapter 1 all that receive him not everybody rejected him as many as receive him he gave power supernatural ability to become sons of God wow that really revolutionized my life I wasn’t dependent on a bunch of rules and regulations I wasn’t dependent on you know legalism or anything else I could depend on God coming to me and empowering me to live for him that revolutionized my life folks.
▶ 23:33 You need to memorize that verse now what is the son of God. Philippians 2:15 you may become blameless harmless sons of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation among whom you shine as lights in the world. You may become implies that when you first get saved you’re not blameless you’re not harmless. And. You’re not faultless yet now I can raise my hand when I first got saved and no way was I this kind of son of God how many can raise your hand and say when you first got saved no way were you this kind of son of God but that’s the goal God has for us and he.
▶ 24:25 Supernaturally comes to do it he doesn’t rely on pastors and evangelists and authors of books to do it he personally comes to you to make you a son of God that’s blameless faultless and harmless. And when does he do it in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation no rapture now. You know they’ve been talking about the rapture ever since I was a baby and it hadn’t happened yet why because as some other things are gonna happen and this is one of them he has got to manifest the sons of God to the world he’s got to show to the world that he has the power to make a glorious church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing.
▶ 25:19 In. The midst of this evil world he’s going to make you a son of God don’t be looking for any rapture don’t be looking for the second coming be looking for him to come to you and make you a son of God can I hear an amen yeah so many people have their eyes like the apostles Jesus ascended into heaven they’re sitting there staring. That’s us today and the angel come and said what are you looking at. This same Jesus will come back but today we’re looking is it today is it this hour is it this minute we need the Holy Spirit to get us to look to Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith and do his work in us does that an amen yes yeah give a God a clap offering yes.
Scripture in this part
John 1:12 (NKJV)
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
— John 1:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 22:55Philippians 2:15 (NKJV)
that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
— Philippians 2:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 23:39Do we know everything about the end?
Short answer: 1 John 3:2: we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but when he returns we shall be like him. Don’t act like we know everything about the second coming.
▶ 26:21 among whom this crooked and perverse generation you shine as lights in the world did Jesus tell us to be a light to the world has he changed that message no can he cause it to happen absolutely there’s nothing impossible with God but we’ve been taught so much he’s coming any minute we’re looking at the sky and we’re not looking to Jesus the builder of the house to make us what he said we could be and we’re changing that today amen now. First John 3:2 so you know now we’re children of God when you first get saved you’re still the child of God you may not be blameless and faultless yet but you’re still the child of God can I hear an amen hallelujah. It has not yet been revealed what we shall be but we know when he returns we’ll be like him number one we’re still here.
▶ 27:33 When he returns we will be what like him we’re still here we’re still here and he’s made us [unclear] like him. now I’m going to give you a heavy [unclear]. You ready for the heavy [unclear]. Yeah has not yet been revealed what we shall be I’ve been telling the church for 40 years. That a lot of things are not going to be revealed until the time of the Revelation and the apostles themselves. This is the apostle John talking the apostle said it hasn’t been revealed to us yet what the church will be so why do we have all these prophets living in million-dollar homes writing books about the second coming when the apostle John and the rest of the apostles said.
▶ 28:45 It’s not yet been revealed ah. Church do you get it oh. But they’ll say no Jesus said observe the olive tree [unclear] what’s it got to do with anything there’s things haven’t been revealed yet that will be revealed in their time for everything there is a season and a purpose for everything under heaven isn’t that what is that and God has Revelation coming and he will bring it from the Bible when he’s ready to bring it and we should not act like we know everything about the second coming and the period before it could that be an amen.
▶ 29:38 Alleluia. now [unclear] I asked you this was Jesus blameless. Was he faultless yeah. Did he prevail over the gates of hell did he put Satan under his feet yeah he did. Did Jesus do the will of the father yeah he said I only do the will of my father that’s why he went to one person at the pool of Bethesda and healed one man because that’s what the father told him to do but we in the name of [unclear] everybody rise up [unclear] no Jesus said I only do what the will of my father and it was the father’s will to go to one man and heal him that was the father’s will are you with me.
▶ 30:33 So if we’re gonna be like him when he comes. Are we gonna be faultless blameless. In a crooked and perverse world. Are we gonna be a people overcoming the gates of hell puttin Satan under our feet if we’re gonna be like him that’s exactly what God’s gonna do and he hasn’t revealed how he’s gonna do it and the exact end result of that. Are you there but he has told us he’s going to do it okay. Now the early church folks had a core of people in it the apostles the elders and thousands of believers that were blameless faultless in a crooked and perverse generation at their time and they had baby Christians that had problems.
▶ 31:37 So the implication is it’s not like the whole church. Is going to do this together we may still have baby Christians while God is what doing a core work in his people or he can do something instant he’s God he can get you saved and get you mature and one day if he wants he’s God he’s sovereign is that an amen. So how many know that’s better to look forward to than being raptured out of this world and seven years of tribulation coming and all this nonsense we have something powerful to look forward to it’s going to get the attention of the world kings are gonna rethink government leaders are going to rethink and people are going to be shocked and they’re gonna rethink how many would rather see that before Christ comes amen and if you were an unbeliever you would really want to see that.
Scripture in this part
1 John 3:2 (NKJV)
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
— 1 John 3:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 26:57Does Isaiah 53 promise healing?
Short answer: Isaiah 53:4, quoted in Matthew 8:16–17: he took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses—he healed all, casting out spirits with his word, no ceremony.
▶ 32:41 Surely he bore our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of God and afflicted now this scripture is quoted in Matthew 8:17 demonic possessed people were brought to Jesus disease people were brought to Jesus and the scripture in Matthew 8:17 says he healed all of them the demons the sicknesses and it says fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah that him himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses Jesus or the New Testament change the word grief to infirmities and sorrows to sickness is he still the healer of bodies is he still the one that can cast out demon most of you have never seen anyone possessed by a demon but believe me they’re out there all right and they’re.
Scripture in this part
Isaiah 53:4 (NKJV)
Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
— Isaiah 53:4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:41 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Matthew 8:16-17 (NKJV)
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”
— Matthew 8:16-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:52How else do people see Jesus?
Short answer: Mark 16:20: the Lord confirming the word with signs following. Acts 3:26: he blesses you by turning you from iniquities—people see Jesus in your change.
▶ 33:44 Under our authority hallelujah now. Other ways of seeing Jesus besides a vision or bodily. Form in Mark 16:20 they went and preached everywhere and the Lord working with them [unclear] confirming the word because the context is the word with signs following if you don’t preach the word God has no obligation to do anything but you preach the word he has obligated to what back up his word and so people see him through the what miracles that he does. healing blinded eyes healing Hands that were cut off or maimed at birth or whatever a whole new hand coming I mean doing tremendous things and a lot of people say well that’s not for today nowhere in the Bible does it say it wasn’t for today God is the same yesterday today and forever.
▶ 34:45 You see this is another way of seeing Christ we see the early church evangelize with miracles. And they didn’t live in million-dollar homes. Acts 3:26 God having raised up Jesus his son sent Jesus to bless you and how is he going to bless you in turning away every one of you from his iniquities when people see you change your life they’re seeing Jesus in you. They can’t deny when you were that evil and that bad before and then they see a change and you’re giving God the credit they’re seeing Jesus so church it’s imperative that we become sons of God can I hear an amen alleluia a light to the world to see a change in us not like the world like the kingdom of God and his sons sons of God blameless faultless harmless in a perverse and crooked world our light shines and this is what God’s going to do globally before he returns hallelujah.
Scripture in this part
Mark 16:20 (NKJV)
And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
— Mark 16:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 34:00Acts 3:26 (NKJV)
To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”
— Acts 3:26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 34:45Is believing enough?
Short answer: He calls using Romans 10:9 alone a lie: you must believe, repent, do right and be baptized—like sugar needs all three elements. He cites two ministers exalted for talent who later left their families.
▶ 36:10 one of the biggest lies in the American church is this scripture Romans [unclear] 10:9 if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved. No good works required. [unclear] we got to believe on Jesus but how many know we got to repent we got to do right or we’re going to face the judgment of an eternal lake of fire. You can’t take one scripture and just preach it and give people the the impression that because you believe in Jesus no matter what you do. You’re going to heaven you can’t do that. And that’s crippled many American Christians this scripture right here they just took it out of context and they just made it the salvation scripture nothing about sons of God blameless harmless pure holy nothing about it you just believe you’re in and it’s a lie.
▶ 37:21 Ray Boltz and Todd Farley how many have heard of Ray Boltz Todd Farley okay these were Christian ministers one a Christian musician one a Christian [unclear] yeah [unclear] Christian dancer and the church elevated them because of their skill because of their talent both of them got married both of them had children but Ray Boltz come out as a homosexual divorced his wife left his kids and I read his his own words God wants me to be happy. God wants you to be happy yet he allows you to hurt your wife to hurt your children to live a lifestyle that he is against and the.
▶ 38:23 Church got a black eye by exalting this man the same way with Todd Farley I had Todd Farley in the church and Mr. Barnes said they you know there’s something fishy about that guy remember that and I just thought that you know the you know dancing you know I thought that’s just what dancer I couldn’t do it as a man can get me to dance that way give me a masculine dancer I ain’t dancing. but not [unclear] he said I don’t know there’s something fishy about that guy years later he divorced his wife left his kids and came out as a homosexual. the church acknowledging
▶ 39:17 Talents over righteousness. Always will get a black eye the Bible says know them that labor among you [unclear] I don’t care if they can play I don’t care if they can sing I don’t care if they can dance and I have a formula here for those of you know chemistry. C12h22o11. Anybody can tell me what that is the chemical compound of sugar. How many like sugar now if I take the carbon out of this formula do I have sugar no okay I’ll put the carbon back in and I take the hydrogen out do I have sugar no. Ok I take oxygen out and put the hydrogen back in do I have sugar it takes all three to have sugar it takes belief repentance and doing right being water baptized to be saved.

Romans 10:9 (NKJV)
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
— Romans 10:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:10What do the stripes heal?
Short answer: Isaiah 53:5–6: wounded for our transgressions… by his stripes we are healed—in context, healing from sin. 1 Peter 2:24: he bore our sins that we might live for righteousness.
▶ 40:23 can I hear an amen. Christian has to have the whole equation. And these churches are lying to you when they tell you you can leave out one of them. Don’t say you’re a Christian if you’re a half formula. Or a third formula or whatever. He was wounded for our transgressions as the musicians come bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed is that an amen all. We like sheep have gone astray how many can raise your hands [unclear] I’ve been there done that yeah but we have turned everyone to his own way our own way [unclear] alright and the Lord has laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all now I submit to you listen to me what is the context of this word these verses transgressions and iniquities isn’t it.
▶ 41:40 So what is he healing by his stripes we are healed what is Christ’s healing. Transgressions and iniquities us going astray. It’s not the body the body was healed back there in the other scripture. he carried our infirmities he carried our sicknesses but this one and let me submit there why am I bringing this up because a lot of people they will believe God for divine healing especially in the Pentecostal spirit-filled circles it’s a big thing and I’m one of them so I can talk about us you know we made mistakes you know [unclear] you just keep your mouth shut because you don’t know what you’re talking about you’re just hearsay but I grew up with them all right.
▶ 42:33 And by his stripes we are healed they always refer that to divine healing and folks I submit to you can God heal the body and not heal my sins that. Makes no sense does it I need my sins healed more than my body because my sins being healed will give me a blessed life a great life on earth and eternal life forever if I’m not healed in my body I can still go to heaven. But I need healing and my sin and stripes all that beating he took everything that he took was so you could be delivered made whole from sin not just forgiven but delivered healed from sin I mean [unclear] raise your hands that God healed me of mine yeah and I [unclear] thank you for the stripes yes yes this is the kind of Jesus we got to go to.
▶ 43:37 as I told you in Matthew 8:16 they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils he cast out the spirits with his what word no no exorcism ceremony you know [unclear] incense and placing the Bible on people [unclear] placing the Bible on people and the guy would scream oh he can’t handle the Bible on that too just a book. He didn’t go through any ceremony he cast the demons out by his word [unclear] and guess what they come out no ceremony no leading up to it. Let’s get warmed up here now let’s burn incense and sprinkle water no I ain’t no warming up get out.
▶ 44:34 Amen the word is powerful folks. And I tell you this because in the Pentecostal circles they did have a power of a presence of God but when you take the power of that presence and you do things with it that is distracting and really unscriptural [unclear] it’s a problem and I had to get through that stuff I had to fight through that stuff to get on the road of God amen and it wasn’t very difficult because nonsense doesn’t bring results the word does. And he healed all that were sick listen thousands of people came to him and he healed everyone them how did he do that I’m always asking him how in the world did you heal all those people you know Benny Hinn does it one at a time and yeah yeah it would take forever Oral Roberts had a line one other time that took forever man you were there all Sunday afternoon forever each one of them he’s got thousands following him and he healed them all wow I mean I know he appeared to the 500 at one time I mean oh he can heal 500 at one time.
▶ 45:55 We never think that way my because tv and all that stuff has got us programmed to believe that we got a [unclear] in the name of [unclear] they got us program that we have to follow some ceremony when all we ought to do is go to Christ the healer and [unclear] for healing and he heals. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying he himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses you see that’s the scripture. For healing the stripes are the healing for the sins. Hallelujah. First Peter 2:24 in closing he himself bore our sins in his own body on the cross that we having died to sins may live for righteousness and then he quotes it Isaiah by his stripes you were healed.
▶ 46:57 What’s the context sin stripes heals the sins and I don’t care how big or little your sin is Jesus is the one that can heal you I can’t I wished I could. But I know Jesus and if you touch him like the [unclear] touches. He’ll heal you but he heals according to his will. But it is his will to heal not always the time. We hadn’t messed up on the timing of God but it is his will to heal and folks he wants to heal you your sins so you can be a light to the world and draw more people to him. alleluia.

About this transcript
This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: Points to check: nations discovered “until 17 and 98”/“the late 1700s” and “the 1400s”; Jesus appeared “nine times” from heaven; Jesus “was a Syrian”; Luke 7:30 baptism context; Nebuchadnezzar’s furnace “Son of God.” Sensitive content kept as spoken: a commune that used “flirty” evangelism and sex to recruit; Muslims seeing Jesus; Romans 10:9 alone called “one of the biggest lies in the American church”; Ray Boltz and Todd Farley named as having come out as homosexual and left their families; prophecy writers in “million-dollar homes”; Pentecostal ceremonies placing Bibles on people; Benny Hinn and Oral Roberts healing lines; pre-tribulation teaching “nonsense.” Select any time to jump to that moment on YouTube.
