God Corrects Us for our Profit — October 24, 2021: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Pastor Kincer describes persecution in America as losing jobs for moral convictions, then traces God’s correction from Adam, Cain, Abraham, Moses and David to the church. God corrects first verbally, then with follow-up, for our profit; admit you’re wrong and He will bless your latter end.
How does the service open?
Short answer: With rejoicing in His love, “Lord bless you and keep you” to a thousand generations, and “You are my peace.”
▶ 0:02 Good morning and welcome I’d like to thank you for joining us we’re going to start with our scripture this morning in 2nd Corinthians chapter 10 verse 4. It says for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty and pulling down strongholds and that is what we’re going to do here in just a few moments we’re going to be lifting up the name of Jesus praising his name and you don’t understand how powerful those things are against the kingdom of darkness and in your life when you open up your mouth when you stand when you worship him God fights on your behalf. In first Corinthians 1:27 it says that God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the mighty you know it seems foolish to raise your hands it may seem foolish to sing it may seem foolish to shout but God has chosen the foolish things to confound the mighty it also says in the other scriptures that all these intelligent people you know they’re missing out because uh God has chosen the foolish things.

What special song is sung?
Short answer: “Some People Change,” about a woman born with her mother’s habit; some people change because Jesus’ power is so great.
▶ 23:08 First of all again we’d like to welcome you we have some special guests in the back old friends my goodness I haven’t seen his wonderful face in so long Anthony. Uh I thought I saw Heidi somewhere maybe she went away anybody else I know back there Cody. This is a special song called some people change it’s one of our songs that we’ve sung here a long a long time so I’m going to give a quick attempt. This old man was a rebel yeller that boy to the phone you’d say can’t trust that other feller he judged by the tone of their skin. He was raised to think like his dead narrow mind full of hate on the road to nowhere fast till the grace of God got in the way then he saw the light hit his knees and cried and said a prayer rose up.
▶ 24:29 Don’t give up hope some people change against all of us against the brain love finds a way some people change. She was born with her mother’s habit you could say it’s in her blood she hates that she’s gotta have it as she fills her glass up she’d love to kill that bottle but all she can think about is a better life a second chance every once she’s letting down she throws that bottle down.
▶ 25:21 Here’s to the strong thanks to the brain don’t. Change. Some people change. Some people change. Some people. Amen some people change some people change because Jesus’s power is so great the scriptures say that he rose from the grave that he is God and we worship him this morning and he has the power to change us and make us a new creature I’d like to invite pastor kinser up to share the word this morning so let’s open up our hearts and ears to hear what the Bible has to teach us amen.
What is persecution for the gospel’s sake?
Short answer: Mistreatment because you chose to follow Jesus; blessed are you when they insult and falsely accuse you.
▶ 26:28 We want to thank you for joining with us this morning all of those that are here to brave the pandemic to meet together and worship Jesus Christ that’s very good and all of you on facebook or youtube on the internet thank you for joining us this morning so as you see on the screen Bible mysteries. Are revealed and God gives us scriptural proof of those things remember. Jesus said our utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world there were things kept secret until Christ came Paul also said the mystery hidden from ages and generations is now made clear to his saints so the mysteries are not mysteries anymore if you see God you can understand everything in the Bible so today we’re going to take a look at persecution.
▶ 27:31 And the gospel. Jesus said blessed are you when people insult you. Persecute you mistreat you and falsely say evil things against you number one because of me because you chose to follow me. Blessed are you when people mistreat you so. Persecution for the gospel sake is the mistreatment by people. By religionists. Or by the government. For following Jesus Christ and his moral laws. And if you have to you need to do what you can to protect your life and your family amen.
Scripture in this part
Matthew 5:11 (NKJV)
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
— Matthew 5:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 27:31Matthew 5:10 (NKJV)
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
— Matthew 5:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:30What does persecution look like in the USA?
Short answer: Not beheadings like Coptic Christians, but losing your job for doing what is morally right.
▶ 28:31 Now. Persecution today. The persecution of moral folks in the usa in this day and hour. Christians are always thinking that there’s a big tribulation coming and horrible things are going to happen and we think that persecution is like these egyptian. Christians. Coptic Christians who were beheaded and and killed simply because they believed in Jesus now you may not agree with the God the Christian the the uh. That kind of religion or whatever but they believed in Jesus they followed Jesus they were moral people and the muslims killed them and so we call them terrorists and that’s real persecution and so our minds are focused on how bad things are in china for Christians and you know in muslim nations for Christians and so forth and we forget that even in the usa Christians can be persecuted.
▶ 29:41 Not taken our life but taken our job okay. Jesus said blessed are those that are persecuted for doing what is morally right so not just following Jesus. Not just following his word but when you if you don’t even believe in Jesus but you believe in morals and doing what’s right he said theirs is the kingdom of heaven. So there’s tyranny today there’s dictatorship today. And tyrants want to tell you how to think and how to act and they use harmful lies and harmful laws and job threats to get you to conform to their ideology their beliefs.
What statistics does he give?
Short answer: Democrats 42 percent, Republicans 37 percent; he says 59 percent of Democrats are socialists and that California is outnumbered.
▶ 30:34 Democrats are 42 percent of American citizens. They are 59. Of people in the democratic party are socialists they believe in socialism and socialism believes in containing christianity and the Bible. Republicans are 37 percent. Of Americans that’s a 5. Difference between democrats and republicans that’s why democrats want a majority vote. Instead of the electoral college but only eight percent they haven’t infiltrated the republican party yet are socialists in california 46 percent are democrats and 24 percent are republicans.
▶ 31:32 And that’s why we couldn’t get Newsom recall we’re outnumbered in california those are running from california and going to other places my hats go off to them they are wise those of you who can’t run or choose to stay here I call you courageous people hallelujah we got to do what we got to do. Now. Real conservatives real Christians or real any immoral citizen. They’re going to threaten you with a loss of job in fact they already have if you don’t have the vaccine you can’t work because you are a danger to people. That’s tyranny. If you say black lives matter yes but if you also say all lives matter and blue lives matter then they say you are a racist.
How are Christians silenced?
Short answer: Reject critical race theory, woke culture or gender neutrality and you can be called a racist, removed from Facebook or fired; homeschoolers have been attacked.
▶ 32:33 If you do not accept the critical race theory. Or. Woke or canceled culture on all these movements the uh. Uh micro uh aggressiveness. Aggression microaggression all these things they come up with to silence. Their opponents then you are a racist. If you don’t feel bad for being white or being a latina. Then you are a racist you should feel bad. Goes along with abortion. Same-sex recovery therapy and I go out and I preach and I tell. Same-sex people that they can change that their God can save them they can have a transformation and a new life if you preach that that’s hate speech you can lose your job you can be put in jail I was threatened to be put in jail over trying to save some sex people several years ago.
▶ 33:46 Gender if you don’t believe in gender neutrality and all this stuff and lgbtq and and you have things on your facebook page or you email somebody and these. Groups get a hold of it they can go to the officials and they can get you off of facebook and they can get you out of your job and a lot of people have been reading for over a year how people have been losing their jobs. For just simply standing up for morality. Pedophiles. The same thing illegal immigrants. Health care capitalism. Guns drugs and gangs when you. Stand up for the morality of these areas they can attack you and they can get you fired from your job by simply catching you on a facebook post or a email post or anything they can come after you.
▶ 34:53 That is tyranny home school or Christian school for decades homeschoolers especially here in california have been attacked by the government over and over and over. Parents have been arrested parents kids have been taken. From them for homeschooling. We keep winning a lot of these battles but they keep at it our Christian school was just closed down after being here for 15 years in elsinore because we taught school in a house and we removed a non-bearing wall. Okay and we converted a garage for a classroom they came in and in one day we had 30 days to comply or we’re going to get penalized find and so forth so we know what all that means.
▶ 35:55 If they think. That you are a racist. If they believe you are if they think you think. You oppose them then your talk and your thoughts is hate speech and hate thoughts you are a racist you are a danger to others you ask dangerous questions and you got to be silenced and if you go to a church that believes. That homosexuals can be converted then they can fire you and people have I just read this week where two tv actors got fired after these groups researched found out what church they went to told the channel that these guys go to a church that believes that homosexuals can be converted.
Is the mark and seven-year tribulation the real threat?
Short answer: He says the persecution is losing jobs now; employment is at will, and you must decide how to oppose tyranny.
▶ 36:55 That. Uh broadcasting station fired them laid them off and they said it’s just business we don’t have any problem with you this is just business are you there. Okay so Christians think. Uh that the Mark 666 and not buying and not selling and seven years of tribulation are coming and you know the false prophet you know is going to rise up and and uh the son of perdition the man of sin the lawless one that exalts himself above God and we’re looking for some individual well I’m going to show you too. Here’s one and here’s another they are false prophets and they are sons of perdition. They exalt themselves above God and everything that is worshipped as God they exalt themselves above the word of God above Christ and they try to tell everybody how to think and how to act are you there.
▶ 38:03 Employment is at will. Except for race religion or sex but they can turn that around and have you fired because you want to accept. Gender neutrality they can fire you. And then you have to decide what you got to do. How can we oppose this kind of tyranny and still keep our jobs and thank you for listening. Now. We’re going to continue. Today. With the verse Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever we asked ourselves earlier is this verse true has he always been the same and so we go to Hebrews 12:10 and the scriptures tell us that God chastens us for our profit he corrects us he disciplines us for our benefit that we may be partakers of his holiness.
How did God correct people in Genesis?
Short answer: He corrected Adam and Eve and verbally corrected Cain, who would not listen and killed Abel.
▶ 39:14 He wants us to do good he wants us to stand up for justice and so he comes and corrects it and disciplines us did he do that yesterday. So we go all the way back to Genesis. And we find Adam and Eve. Disobeying God and they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. All right they disobeyed God and God came and disciplined them. He corrected them he banished them from the garden of eden. No longer could they just pluck the fruit off the tree they had to plow the ground and do the work move the rocks and harvest the field. You see he corrected them and Adam and Eve. Accepted his correction and did not disobey God.
▶ 40:10 The rest of their life and Adam lived over 900 years. God just wants you. To change your problem. Correct your problem. Cain came along and he was a sinful guy an angry guy and he wouldn’t listen to God God came and corrected him verbally. And he wouldn’t listen and so he killed his brother Abel and God banished Cain from the presence of God for the rest of his life Cain could not come in to the presence of God because he would not repent he would not admit his error. Some people will not accept the correction of God and he corrects us for our benefit that we might turn into people that do good do right and execute justice in the earth.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 4:6-8 (NKJV)
So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
— Genesis 4:6-8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 40:10Why didn’t God send the Messiah at the flood?
Short answer: He judged by flood and at Sodom, then after the cross preached to those people so they could hear the gospel.
▶ 41:15 Then we come down to the flood the whole earth was filled with violence and sin the wickedness was everywhere. And God came down. As he did at Sodom and Gomorrah. He destroyed the people at Noah’s day with a flood and I asked God I said why didn’t you come as the messiah at that time the earth is filled with violence I mean man what a powerful. Season for you to come in why don’t you come and die for the sins of the world at that time. And he simply said to me well. Everything that I do is done by two or three witnesses. Enoch had ascended but not Elijah.
▶ 42:10 And not the saints of old in Matthew when Jesus ascended they ascended the graves were open he said that hadn’t been done yet. And those witnesses is to tell the people at the end of the world that they are going to ascend that there is going to be a resurrection of the dead that’s why I didn’t do it at the flood does that make sense. So then a few years later a few decades later in fact a few hundred years later. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by fire because of sin and one of their biggest sins was same sex. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah over same-sex activity. And so he gives us these witnesses. And uh.
Scripture in this part
1 Peter 3:19-20 (NKJV)
by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
— 1 Peter 3:19-20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 43:02Matthew 27:52-53 (NKJV)
and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
— Matthew 27:52-53 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 42:10How was Abraham corrected over Sarah?
Short answer: She was beautiful at 65 and 90; Pharaoh and Abimelech took her, and God corrected the lie.
▶ 43:03 He banished the people at Noah’s. Flood and the people of Sodom and Gomorrah by death and then he went down after his death on the cross and preached to these people before the flood the gospel so that they could hear the gospel and repent and turn to him then you’ve got Abraham and Sarah the little things. Abraham married his stepsister. Okay. Her name was Sarah she was a beautiful woman so the Bible says. And when she was 65 years old Abraham took her down to Egypt with him and the Egyptians saw this beautiful woman now you’ve got to remember. They dressed that day to protect themselves from the elements they had head coverings they had cloth all the way down to their ankles.
▶ 43:58 They didn’t have you know midriffs showing, the cleavage showing and mini skirts with the thighs showing and all the rest. These. Sarah turn men’s heads by just being beautiful without having to do anything to get their attention. Wow. 65 years old and so Pharaoh is going to take her in to be his wife and Sarah goes along with it and Abraham says well you know she’s my sister she’s you know she’s not my wife she’s my friend he lied and Sarah went along with the lie and God came to Pharaoh and used Pharaoh to straighten out and correct. Abraham and Sarah.
▶ 44:50 25 years later Sarah is 90 years old now I’m telling you this 90 years old. And guys are still turning their head when she walked down the street good grief. Without the makeup and the masquerade and all the rest. Wow she must have been something I can’t wait to see her in heaven. Anyway Abimelech. Wanted her as his wife and Abraham again says she’s my sister and Sarah went along with it and God came to Abimelech the king of a foreign nation and says man you’re in trouble if you mess around with this woman I’m going to kill you. So Abimelech went to Abraham and straightened Abraham out again and rebuked Abraham and rebuked Sarah for lying and doing what they did and the key is this God had told Sarah within a year you’re going to have a son because she was 90 years old and didn’t have any children now she would have went into Abimelech guess whose son that would have been.
Scripture in this part
Genesis 12:11-17 (NKJV)
And it came to pass, when he was close to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance. Therefore it will happen, when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, ‘This is his wife’; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. Please say you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that I may live because of you.” So it was, when Abram came into Egypt, that the Egyptians saw the woman, that she was very beautiful. The princes of Pharaoh also saw her and commended her to Pharaoh. And the woman was taken to Pharaoh’s house. He treated Abram well for her sake. He had sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male and female servants, female donkeys, and camels. But the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.
— Genesis 12:11-17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 43:58Genesis 20:2-3 (NKJV)
Now Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.”
— Genesis 20:2-3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:50How were Moses and David corrected?
Short answer: Moses did not enter the land; David’s child died, yet God forgave him when he admitted, repented and accepted correction.
▶ 46:05 And that wasn’t in God’s plan a lot of things you choose to do is not in God’s plan and he comes to correct you you just need to handle the correction and go on could that be an amen. Hallelujah. Then you’ve got Moses after all what Moses did parting the red seas and bringing all these plagues and the manna from heaven and all this stuff Moses. Went and smote the rock twice that he was supposed to smite once for the water to come out. And God says I gotta discipline you for this. You saw my face my back parts you communicated with me directly you are more responsible and so you cannot go in to the promised land and God corrected Moses.
▶ 47:04 For the purpose of all the people to see. That when we disobey God there has to be a correction and he didn’t get to go into the land David. He as you know committed adultery. Killed an innocent man. And God came and corrected David by. The child that was born to the Bathsheba dying. And God told David this the reason this child is going to die. Is because the nations. And my enemies. I will not give them a chance to blaspheme. They will know that I correct my people just like I correct them isn’t that fair. And so David accepted God’s correction and David remained a priest a prophet and a king even though he did these sins and if God can restore David and cleanse David and deliver David from sin he can cleanse everybody today amen at that time killing innocent blood was an unforgivable sin and uriah was an innocent man.
▶ 48:16 And yet God forgave David for the unforgivable sin because he admitted he was wrong he repented from the wrong and he let God correct him and God restored him back to everything he had amen and when you get in trouble. Whether you’re on the internet or whether you’re here just admit you’re wrong. Just repent from that wrong and God will restore you don’t let people or Satan come along and say oh no no no it’s over for you it’s never over. Then we come to the Hebrews we’re talking about Israel and the Jews. God would come to them. In certain areas and bring no rain to get them to listen to the prophets he first corrected them with the prophets come and tell them to change their ways and brought out the problem and then he would send an economic crisis or a famine or a plague a sickness and he would do it in certain areas and then he would do it in other areas trying to get their attention they wouldn’t listen and then finally after hundreds of years of not consistently following God and listening to his word and accepting correction he sent him into captivity for 70 years.
Scripture in this part
2 Samuel 12:13-14 (NKJV)
So David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” And Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die. However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.”
— 2 Samuel 12:13-14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 47:04Does God correct churches too?
Short answer: Israel went into captivity; Paul says many in Corinth are weak, sick and dead before their time.
▶ 49:45 He sent Israel first into syrian captivity then he sit the Jews sent the Jews into Babylonian captivity to correct them New Testament churches yes. He first Corinthians chapter 11. He said this. Paul says a lot of you are weak. A lot of you’re sick. And a lot of you are dead before your time. Because you don’t discern the lord’s body now there’s two things about the lord’s body one is his body that was sacrificed on the cross took all the shame the blame the pain for us he bought us with the death of his body. We are not our own and we want Christ without making him our master. That brings a reproach on the name of Christ and Christ has to correct it.
Scripture in this part
1 Corinthians 11:30 (NKJV)
For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
— 1 Corinthians 11:30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 49:45Why does God correct us?
Short answer: For our profit, that we may partake of His holiness; first verbally, then with a follow-up.
▶ 50:44 Didn’t we read back there he corrects us he he for our profit that we might be holy what doing good and doing. Justice. First he comes verbally. And then he comes with a follow-up. And if you just accept the verbal. Correction you won’t have to go through. The problems. Amen. But if you can’t accept it for goodness sake wake up when you go through these things that God brings in your life to correct you. Hallelujah a lot of us don’t think we need corrected. And yeah it’s a good way to think until you get into his light.
▶ 51:37 You know his light shows every little speck on you. Israel’s enemies were corrected remember the assyrian soldiers came down against Israel and they ridiculed Israel and their God and God smote 185 000 soldiers in one night bam. You don’t mess around with God’s people even when he’s correcting his people. Don’t mess with God’s people. Okay and that’s the problem with. Nebuchadnezzar and the egyptian king God used them to correct his people and they overcorrected. And they justified the over correction in Jeremiah. By saying they sinned against God you know what we’re doing to them you know God’s happy about.
▶ 52:34 No God wanted to correct them but not destroy them and not correct them to the point of where it is ridiculous. So God chastens us for our profit. That we may be partakers. Of his holiness God just wants you to live good folks this whole Bible is wrapped up and do good. Do right and execute justice stand up for the innocent stand up for those that are being mistreated stand up for justice in the land he didn’t save us just to go to heaven. He saved us to be a light to the world and by our good works bring honor and glory to God.
Scripture in this part
Hebrews 12:10 (NKJV)
For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.
— Hebrews 12:10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 50:44 (quoted; reference not named in the message)2 Kings 19:35 (NKJV)
And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the LORD went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead.
— 2 Kings 19:35 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 51:37What else corrects us?
Short answer: Your own sin; statistics show what dropping out, drugs and crime bring.
▶ 53:29 God has another little. Weapon in his toolbox. He says your own sin will correct you. And listen we know by statistics. Taken in America this is actually a fact. If you don’t go to school and get an education and learn to read and write and calculate and so forth if you don’t refrain from drugs and alcohol. If you don’t refrain from having babies. Before you’re married at the age of 20 these are modern day America statistics. If you don’t do these things and you don’t go out and get a job. And you don’t get a job skill you have a 95 chance of being in poverty.
▶ 54:28 And being a criminal. Breaking the law that is an American statistical fact. You see so God has to come along and correct you. If you want to be successful. Just don’t sin. Do what’s right God won’t have to correct you and you won’t become a criminal in America. And you won’t become a person in poverty living on welfare. And if you’ve made these mistakes guess what. You admit it you repent from it you correct it and then what you’re going to be blessed.
Scripture in this part
Jeremiah 2:19 (NKJV)
Your own wickedness will correct you, And your backslidings will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing That you have forsaken the LORD your God, And the fear of Me is not in you,” Says the Lord GOD of hosts.
— Jeremiah 2:19 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 53:29What is the sad verse?
Short answer: When He slew them, then they sought Him—like churches filled after 9/11 and empty two months later.
▶ 55:21 And God is out to bless us now. In closing as the musicians come. This is a sad verse in the Bible. I think. And as a Christian been serving God for 60 years. I’ve seen this over and over and over. When he slew them. Then they sought him. They wouldn’t take the verbal correction. They wouldn’t take the easy corrections. The end when he slew them and then they sought him they returned and inquired early after God they remembered that God was the rock and their redeemer isn’t it sad that we’ve got to wait for a pandemic a flood or an attack like in 9 11 on our business center in new york.
▶ 56:27 The churches were filled with prayers. After those terrorists came and attacked our buildings there in new york that business center. And two months later they were gone. You see when we were in danger they sought God. But when they began to realize the danger wasn’t as serious as they thought they didn’t come to church anymore. And I’ve seen this over and over and over God has to bring people to a place of utter almost destruction before they will come to their senses. And admit they’re wrong. Repent from those wrong and follow him but now listen he’s talking about Israel.

Psalm 78:34 (NKJV)
When He slew them, then they sought Him; And they returned and sought earnestly for God.
— Psalm 78:34 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 55:21What does the wilderness generation teach?
Short answer: Don’t follow the crowd, your parents or false preachers to do evil; Joshua and Caleb possessed the land.
▶ 57:19 But listen. Only those. 21. 20 years old and up. He is saying this about. Those that were 20 years old and under. In 40 years that 20 year old was 40 years old. That 19 year old was 39 years old. Are you there. Uh 40 59 yeah. Okay 78 and a half give me a break. You see. So these people did not do what their fathers did Joshua and Caleb the Bible says had a different spirit these people that grew up from the age of 20 to the age of 40 had a different spirit and they entered the land.
▶ 58:17 What is the message there don’t follow the crowd to do evil don’t follow your mom and dad to do evil don’t follow the false prophets to do evil and the false preachers you do what’s right and the day comes when Joshua and Caleb got to possess the land amen and you will possess the promises of God there was a time when David didn’t have to flee from Saul anymore after 13 years of running from Saul there was a day when God dealt with Saul and David became king he possessed the promise of God. The Jews even after hundreds of years of rebellion. And 70 years in Babylonian captivity. There’s a day come when they were restored back.

Numbers 14:29-30 (NKJV)
The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.
— Numbers 14:29-30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 57:19Is today my day?
Short answer: Admit you’re wrong, take God’s verbal correction, turn and do right, and He will make the latter end greater.
▶ 59:10 To the promised land and I submit to you today today is your day. No matter what you’ve done. Just admit you’re wrong. Take God’s verbal correction. Turn from that wrong seek God and start doing right and God will bless your life I don’t care what you’ve done God will make the latter end greater than the former that is a scripture. Okay he doesn’t penalize you because of your mistakes. He corrects you and if you handle the correction he restores you like you never made one now that was a good statement. He restores you like you never did anything.
What was the rock that followed Israel?
Short answer: The rock was Christ, a stream through the camp for 40 years; praise the Lord at all times.
▶ 1:00:03 Hallelujah. And he will bless you here on earth and he will bless you in his kingdom and you will live forever with him and here’s the key. I told you there was a rock that the water came out of that followed Israel all through the wilderness for 40 years. And it says here in first Corinthians they all drink of that spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was Christ Christ was in the wilderness with Israel. Thousands of years hundreds of years before he ever came he was before the beginning of the world he was here in the wilderness and he was with Israel as a rock that wherever they camped that rock showed up and that rock.
▶ 1:00:57 Had water coming out of it and you got millions of people that’s got to have drink in a desert where there’s no water so there has to be streams a stream coming out of that rock going through the camp so people could go out and get water. Are you getting the picture. And not only the water for drinking but for cleansing and washing their clothes and bathing and all the rest and used for cooking or whatever. What are their flocks that rock was important. And they all drink of that rock and I submit to you today no matter where you’re at or what condition you’re in if we get back to drinking the water from rock Jesus. We will not be doing things that God has to correct us from that river of the spirit Jesus Jesus said the waters are the spirit of God that flows out from the innermost being you drink of the water of the spirit the water of the word you won’t be having anything to do with real severe correction you’ll just listen to God’s verbal correction because you drink of his waters they cleanse they heal they restore.
▶ 1:02:20 They quench the thirst and so today we’re going to sing the river song but before you do I want to remind you last week we gave you this message I will bless the Lord at all times. It was the key of David no matter what situation he was in he took time to bless the Lord no matter what he done he took time to bless the Lord he praised the Lord continually. And God delivered him from all of his fears if you want to be delivered you can’t just. Read this thing you can’t just read this scripture you got to obey it get up and find a time I bless your Lord I thank you Lord I just thank you because my name’s written in the lamb book of life don’t forget we we go from Sunday to Sunday and we forget what we were taught last Sunday.
▶ 1:03:14 But if you will embrace this scripture praise the Lord at all times you cannot get depressed when you talk about Jesus because there’s nothing depressing and sorrowful about Jesus he’s nothing but good he’s nothing but powerful and it gets your mind off of your situation off of your condition every how you think and then you start thinking like Christ thinks and it changes your life and that was David’s great key as he blessed God no matter what. He refused to let sorrow and depression control his life he praised the Lord. But today. We’re going to go to the river. A river of restoration a river of cleansing a river of healing. And mike’s going to lead us at the close of the service here we’re going to sing the verses so you get the song into you and then we’re going to stand as he sings the chorus and pray this prayer to Jesus Christ is Jesus I’m ready are you ready for a new day mine.
