Now what I want to show today is from Genesis to Revelations the last chapter this spirit of God has been doing this from the beginning the spirit of God has been creating new things changing things ever since God created the earth it’s not just a new thing down here in our generation this thing has been going on for 6,000 years let’s go to Genesis. In the beginning Genesis 1 God created the heavens and the earth the earth was created without form and void and the earth was created with darkness on the faith face of the waters amen and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and some people want to say would hoover did hoover to hoover moving who cares it’s the spirit doing something could that be an amen we want to get so technical on the greek and hebrew words that we missed the whole truth.

Genesis 41:38 pharaoh said to his servants can we find such a man as this Joseph a man in whom is the spirit of God so see we have Joseph’s heaven the spirit of God in him because he had the spirit of God in him he could interpret dreams he could have dreams and he can interpret dreams and he can interpret the king’s dream pharaoh’s dream it also caused Joseph to live right when potiphar’s wife wanted to have sex with him he ran from her you see that spirit gives us the empowerment to do right is that an amen I’m from the beginning their spirit is doing these things pharaoh had a dream and the dream was interpreted by Joseph there’s going to be seven years of plenty and seven years of famine and Joseph also had the wisdom and the understanding from the Holy Spirit to know what Egypt should do and they stored up the grain and they made it through the seven years of

Sold him into slavery and Joseph had no hatred no animosity no anger against his brothers. Isn’t that a powerful Holy Spirit isn’t that what we need we don’t need what people say out there so it’s so popular I got the Holy Spirit when I got water baptized no you didn’t you get the Holy Spirit when you get it do you understand that there is a difference and they want to use Jesus’s water baptism well you know it came down it doesn’t come down because Jesus got water baptized it comes down when God brings it to you could that be an amen and because people believe they have the Holy Ghost they don’t obtain these kind of results because they think they got something they don’t have.

Doesn’t the Bible say we are builders together with God don’t you think we need the Holy Ghost to build God’s church yes we do I mean the real Holy Ghost.

Judges the spirit of the Lord came upon the judges and they judged and they made decisions my gosh and this in this world today you can’t make any decisions or you’re judging you’re condemning people all through the Bible decisions are being made could that be an amen from Genesis to Revelation decisions are being made don’t give me this stuff that judge not lest you be not judged. We got to make right decisions. And in second Chronicles 2014 the spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel and he said don’t be discouraged don’t be afraid the battle is not yours the battle is the lord’s and the background of this is there were three nations that came against God’s people the nation of ammon the nation of moab and the nation of mount sierra mount sierre was the offspring of Esau moab and ammon was the offspring of lots ancestral relationship with his daughters okay.

▶ 11:00 Nations armies out here a massive force and you go out to fight them with the words of your mouth praise the Lord for the Lord is good praise the Lord it looks like it’s insane but when they did what the spirit told them to do God rained down from heaven and destroyed them armies I mean oh we need a lot of that in our own life and in our nation praise is very important the worship service isn’t I’ve said it over and over a prelude to the word it is important to the whole service we meet with God God can express himself God can talk to us in worship and prayer time prayer and worship time is just as necessary as the word time could that be an amen judge and when we come to church we should have become ready to pray and ready to worship and ready to praise him he inhabits the praises of his people and prays defeats the enemy and avenger in that Bible yeah so we come in and praise with enthusiasm we worship with enthusiasm I really like today’s worship just spontaneous seeking God we need him forget trying to entertain people and and please people we need him we need to please him in worship in prayer and in praise could I be an amen hallelujah.

▶ 12:29 The spirit did a powerful thing here and a new thing and a different thing never happened before it never happened again that our army was defeated with praise but it fulfills what Isaiah said I will do a new thing and the spirit’s been doing new things to anyone that will come and seek him for the new thing and it your when it’s new to you it can be new to others God can touch others now that was good did you get that yes now second Chronicles 24 20 the spirit of the Lord came upon Zechariah and God said Zechariah says God says why do you disobey the lord’s commandments you will not prosper I mean oh the American people right now only want to hear prosperity doctrine positive doctrines positive preaching positive everything regardless whether life needs some adjustment or not in there right.

▶ 13:31 You have forsaken the Lord this guy says and he has forsaken you you go tell that to some people that are living in sin God’s forsaken you God not with you they’re gonna say no no no no he will never leave me nor forsake me here we don’t like the other side of the gospel do it. So what happened they stoned him and this is another reason people don’t want to really get into the spirit and preach and teach and speak the impartial word of God is people don’t like you they’ll separate from your company the Bible said and now right they will mistreat you and Jesus said they will kill you oh. We’re gonna hear that stuff now oh let’s get over to the good stuff are you there and this is why a lot of Christians are quiet they don’t want people disliking them disagreeing with them.

So they stoned him but just a few months later just a few months later a small syrian army came against Judah and killed all the civil leaders all the leaders that were had anything to do with stoning the prophet of God and destroyed Judah and destroyed Jerusalem. This guy lost his life for speaking God’s word and speaking the truth can you handle that the John the baptist lose his life for speaking what God told him to speak yes did Jesus lose his life who is our example Jesus is their example whatever you think everything’s gonna always go rosy posy for you did any of the apostles except John lose their life preaching the word every one of them but John.

Micah 3:8 very powerful Micah the prophet said I am filled with the spirit of the Lord I am filled with power I am filled with justice I am filled with might for the purpose of declaring to Jacob God’s people his transgression and to Israel his sin what should be always in a church meeting a challenge to leave sin and do right in that right. Didn’t it say forsake not the assembling of yourself together even the more so as you see the day approaching provoking one another to what love and to good what do good don’t sin stop adultery stop getting intoxicated stop this stuff do good do right.

This guy not only preached this but he had through the spirit the Revelation that Israel would go into captivity and that they would be restored again and folks I don’t care where you’re at in God God is always out to restore you. Restoration is the message and that last move of God we sang it over and over and over why because we were people that needed to be historic. On a yearly basis we needed to be restored and not drew we we got restored and we messed up we had to be restored again now the restoration is the message and captivity is when you sin you’re gonna be held captive he also had Revelation of the messiah being born in Bethlehem of Judah and he also had the Revelation of the church the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established above the mountains and all nations will flow into it how many all nations that’s the church coming down in Revelations having the tree of life in the water of life for the nation to come in to the city of God.

Alleluia it hasn’t changed this is a message that us old-timers heard back there from the Holy Spirit we saw the results of that message there was a tremendous move of God things were really happening back there I. Mean nationwide things were happening. And. He said out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem he will teach us his ways and we will walk in his past that’s the prophecy of the church we don’t come to get entertained we don’t come to be socialized we come to be the church that he designed us to be a church with the tree of life the river of life the power of God that heals people that’s sets people free that harvest his people you don’t need music or great singers or great speakers or anything we need the Holy Ghost doing what he said he would do.

▶ 19:28 And he chose to do that through us. All right that’s Old Testament let’s go to the new. Remember out of your belly’s in John 7 shall flow rivers of living water rivers of life life-giving water this spoky of the spirit in John 16:13. When he the spirit of truth comes he will guide you into what all truth. During the worship I had this little short vision almost prophesied it people were going to the train station and there was four booths there and there were four trains and all the tickets were free the first booth was. The spirit of life in Christ Jesus will set you free from the law of sin and death a big line they’re humongous lines stretched all the way around the world oh.

▶ 20:28 Yeah the second booth said come to the light. So that your deeds will be exposed whether they have God or not nobody’s there hardly anybody is that. The other booth was come to the truth the spirit of truth and there’s hardly anybody there because they wanted. The easy train of just getting eternal life and they didn’t understand that the train of truth would lead them to all the other booth destination but those other booths may not lead you to truth.

▶ 21:23 That sounds alright yeah don’t we like to line up for the easy things in the kingdom I mean you know for the truth to set you free you got to be a student of the word you got to study to show yourself approved you got to do something oh no works man no work I don’t have to do anything well if you don’t read you’re not gonna take heat and they’re right. And if you don’t study you’re not gonna be able to rightly divide the word of truth and he is a spirit of truth. X12. Jesus. Now look at this this is Jesus this is God all right Jesus true the Holy Ghost. Through what that river.

Taught his disciples the commandments of God Jesus did miracles and healings through the father in him Jesus taught those around him by the Holy Ghost he knew Jesus had used the father the son and the holy go. Mean oh that should be what we teach today what the Holy Ghost is is saying now Acts 2:4 they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other languages the mighty works of God as the spirit gave them utterance there’s two things here you need to understand they spoke the mighty works of God they didn’t just mumbo-jumbo something. They spoke the works of God that people said not by works not by works lest any man should boast well they were speaking of the mighty works of God and if their mighty works of God don’t we need to work them.

▶ 23:23 Amen if Jesus said seek me and you find me don’t I need to know do the work to seek him and find him yeah. The second thing is you can only talk when the spirit gives you the utterance otherwise it be wise keeping mouth shut I mean can say amen that’s a good yeah see they can only speak as the spirit gave them utterance when the spirit stopped they stopped speaking they didn’t try to keep pretending the Holy Spirit’s are there they stopped when the spirit stopped they stopped amen and when the spirit stops we need to what stop and when the spirits moving we need to walk move with him. ▶ 24:17 Acts 13:2 while they were worshiping the Lord and fasting the Holy Ghost said separate me Paul and Barnabas for the work we’re into I have called them see Jesus called the apostles to him and here in a church service with fasting and prayer going on the Holy Spirit spake to one of the people through one of the people in that meeting that God is calling Paul and Barnabas to go and reach the Gentile now folks that’s a powerful church service. When we can hear from God like that and we need to hear from God like that not just to anoint people to be in ministry but for daily life we need that them words of encouragement them words of wisdom and knowledge for our daily life amen.

▶ 25:14 We may not be apostle Paul and Barnabas but we may be a mother a dad a child or something and we need to live in this life and so we need God speaking to us the living words of God so the Holy Spirit is in the New Testament Romans 9:1 Paul said I speak the truth in Christ I am not like. Everything that I said I’m not lying don’t you call me alive don’t you say it’s my opinion. And I speak the truth and I’m not lying I’m not deceiving my conscience also bearing me witness in what the Holy Ghost remember I told you over and over God speaks and your conscience it’s not a lot of ‘voice it’s in your conscience that recognition of right and wrong that spirit that is within you he speaks to you and we have that confirmation that what we’re saying and doing is right and Paul backed up all of his epistles all of his teaching with this statement I.

▶ 26:24 Am not lying I speak the truth in Christ by the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost is a spirit of truth that only speaks the truth amen I was dealing with a man just yesterday as it said that. Most of the epistles in the gospel were forgeries and I said well give me proof and he couldn’t give me proof I asked him for proof from scripture and I gave him proof in John at the very end it says I John declared to you these things they are truth I declare them to you that book was written by John not by some what person that the historian say it was written by John put his signature at the end this is my words they’re not lies they are truth can I hear an amen I.

▶ 27:22 Said sir your problem is you believe in historians I believe in the scriptures I. Mean you know Luke and acts both are verified by the author that these are the exact happenings that happen by the author himself not somebody saying historians say that it was written and. 150 years ad after John was dead no John says I wrote this Luke’s gospel the officer said I wrote this acts author said I wrote this maybe somebody copied it but I wrote it can I hear an amen. Aren’t you glad for the Holy Ghost how shall we escape if we can neglect so great a salvation in Hebrews 2:3 God bearing witness with signs God bearing witness with wonders of the Holy Ghost signs of the Holy Ghost miracles of the Holy Ghost and gives to the Holy Ghost God bearing witness can God heal the physical body can God heal the mind can God heal the spirit can God heal us from sin yes it is by the what Holy Ghost.

▶ 28:46 Amen and he backs up his word by doing things. That’s the spirit of God that’s them rivers that change things. Jude 1:20. Building up yourselves in your most holy faith praying in what the Holy Ghost when you pray switch over to the spirit the spirit will build you up you can speak in tongues in your prayer time though you don’t know what you’re saying it still builds you up you feel the strength of the spirit in it how many have ever experienced that yes even though I don’t know what I’m saying it’s just a powerful present and and then you get you get courageous you get strong amen. So we pray in the Holy Ghost building our self up prayer isn’t just a okay you pray you pray you pray and no prayer is we all pray and we build ourselves up by the spirit of God speaking the prayer amen.

▶ 29:55 Then. Revelation 2 and 3 he that have ears let him hear what the famous authors are saying to the church. What youtube is saying to the church what facebook is saying to the church now. The people in facebook a big majority are just telling you their opinions they’re just telling you what somebody told them we need to hear what the spirit is saying to the church he is a spirit of truth he will only speak truth and he will only speak about Jesus Christ and didn’t Paul say that I preached Christ and him crucified a man you can get off on these tangents all you want but you better come back to Christ and his death on the cross and the promises that he made to us.

▶ 30:53 From us accepting him oh. Yeah. How many love the Holy Spirit yes he’s very important Jesus is important God’s important as the musicians come. Now look at this we heard God gives the gift of salvation we’ve heard God gives gifts of the spirit. We’ve heard God will give us prosperity. And give us a lot of things but look at this this is very powerful I will give you a mouse okay now can God lie okay what he says does he have the power to perform it okay he’s going to give you a mouth I mean ii need a mouth yeah we need a spiritual mouth our mouth is very easily.

▶ 31:50 Corrupted and I’ll give you wisdom I mean I know it’s out of the mouth that wisdom has to come so we need a spiritual mouth and we need a source of wisdom to speak and he says I’m gonna give you that. And when you speak your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist you wow. For it is not you that speak but the Holy Ghost that speaks in you. Folks don’t you want that gift. To be able to speak. So people can’t resist the truth and can’t embrace it. We have a thing in the church that oh you need something go see the pastor go see the evangelist folks we’re the light of the world we’re the salt of the earth he will give us a mouth and wisdom if we will seek him.

▶ 33:00 This church cannot be moved. God will give us the ability to share with people and you remember the people on the day of Pentecost they weren’t versed in the mighty works of God when the Holy Ghost came he opened their understanding and they spoke the mighty works of God that they had never even seen before. Alleluia. Don’t you want that gift. That you want it working in your life David said this the spirit of the Lord spoke by me and his word was in my tongue. He that rules over men must be just ruling in the fear of God look at this powerful statement David was a leader David was a king all right and David said a leader.

▶ 33:57 Must be just and ruling in the fear of God did you catch that now before this the Bible says David was handsome he was good to look on I’m you know we need to groom ourselves and dress ourself right we don’t want to turn people off that bad breath and decayed teeth and all that but having you know that don’t make a leader David says that doesn’t make it leader. David also the Bible says was a great musician he could play in the presence of God would come and demons would be cast out. But David said that doesn’t make a leader cause you can play music and the music can deliver sinners. What makes the leaders you’re just and you lead by the fear of the Lord fear of the Lord is to hate evil and depart from it okay he was also a warrior he was a soldier he was a businessman he was a great speaker but David’s even those those are necessary for leadership he said the real key to leadership is you are just.

▶ 35:13 Now do we want this gift of God to be able to speak then we got to be what just we got to speak and partially we can’t favor our sons and daughters. We can’t favor our friends we can’t favor the hillbillies in kentucky because I’m from there. Everybody. Gets spoke to the same way. Being a businessman does not make you a leader even though you need the attributes of business to use financial advice and everything the real leader by the Holy Ghost told David you got to be just David and you got a lead and the fear of the Lord you hate evil you depart from evil and you tell people to depart from evil.
