Does Belief Excuse the Christian from Mistreatment of Innocent People?: full transcript and answers
Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.
Pastor David G. Kincer asks whether Christian belief excuses mistreatment of the innocent—from Tories in the Revolution to modern victims. From Romans 2 and John 8 he teaches conscience in those without Scripture, warns against seared conscience and dehumanizing the unborn, and points to Titus, Hebrews and Ezekiel for profession matched by works and a cleansed conscience.
What if the American colonists were not Christians at all?
Short answer: He asks: what if colonists never heard of Jesus—would mistreatment of Tories (property, liberty, happiness taken) still be justified? Neutral Tories who believed in the king but fought neither side were still mistreated.
▶ 0:00 And today I’m going to ask a couple of questions. What if the American colonists weren’t Christians at all. What if they’ve never heard of the Bible or never believed in God or Jesus. You see what if now. My second question. Do these conditions. These conditions of mind. Do they justify the abuse and mistreatment of innocent women Tories those were the different government outlook africans and Indians. To exile them take or destroy their property take or limit their ineviable undisputed rights of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
▶ 0:55 My third question. Does an ignorant Christian a baby Christian. A grace and faith Christian. Excuse them from the mistreatment of innocent people. Faith well you know if I believe it’s right it’s right if I believe if I do something because of faith the Bible says it’s not sin if I do it by faith and if I make a mistake and don’t believe right grace will cover me God favors me so either way I’m a winner. Okay does that mentality excuse. The colonists for the way they treated innocent people now you notice I have some pictures up here. We got the Tory over here Matthew lindbern.
▶ 1:52 He was a neutral Tory he believed in the in the king but he was neutral he didn’t join the revolution he didn’t fight on either side he just thought that the sovereign monarch government was the best and then you got some Indians these are mohawk chiefs this one has long hair if you could see it in the back this was taken in europe by the way they took them over to europe look at all the tattoos he’s got in the earrings tattoos on his face tattoos on his body look at this guy’s haircut man that just didn’t fit in with calling this wigs and stuff and he’s got earrings feathers in his hair and he’s got tattoos right here and this crazy necklace men wearing jewelry and then you got the slave the African slave.
▶ 2:47 Put in change and bondage kidnapped and forced from their home big difference between bond servant and kidnapped slavery a big difference all right and then you’ve got women behind these guys is a woman slave you got the colonial woman up here and you got the indian woman and of everybody the women had the worst of everything. Whether they were a slave whether they were an indian woman you know a lot of Indians just traded their women just like horses. And the colonial woman of course we know they couldn’t get educated they couldn’t have any part of government they couldn’t own property if they were married uh. They couldn’t vote uh.
▶ 3:43 Now. These people were mistreated by our colonists. Even their property taken away their liberty and happiness taken away. Does that justify if you don’t believe in God that does that justify you mistreating innocent people and if you do believe in God saying you’re a baby Christian. An unlearned ignorant Christian or a grace and faith Christian does that justify does that free you to mistreat these kind of people. Now. I’m going to submit to you some facts today. We’re going to go to the conscience accountability. Beyond knowing Jesus.
▶ 4:35 Beyond knowing the Bible. There is a conscience in everyone the Bible says. To recognize right and wrong. In Romans 2:12. The hearers of the law. Are not just made right before God. But the doers of the law shall be justified. You believe in the Bible great. It’s not believing in the Bible it’s not going to Bible studies that justifies you and makes you right in the eyes of God. It’s what you do. With what the Bible says to do and then he goes on to make this very clear when the Gentiles Gentiles are non-Jews.
Can Gentiles without the Bible still do right by nature?
Short answer: Romans 2: Gentiles without Scripture who do by nature things in the law show the work of the law on their hearts. Example: people who never heard of Christ yet care for family without scurvy in harsh climates—conscience and created order.
▶ 5:28 Non-Bible non-scripture people today it is unbelievers. When Gentiles having not the Bible not the scriptures they don’t have the truths of God do by nature the things in the law it’s just natural to do right. They are a law unto themselves. Which show the work of the law written in their hearts. And their conscience bearing witness. And their thoughts accusing or excusing them. When God shows judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ. So whether you ever heard the word of God or whether you are a baby Christian that haven’t heard this commandment to love your neighbors yourself and love does no harm to its neighbor that does not justify you your ignorance.
▶ 6:30 You’re unlearned level in God. Your faith and your standing on grace does not justify you mistreating. Innocent people that are hurting no one just because they’re different than you. Here I have a picture of an eskimo family. Here is another picture of the aborigine family in australia. The evolutionists really have a problem with the eskimo. Evolving to a dark-skinned people when no sunlight ever hits their skin. You never heard that principle well anyway it doesn’t work. Also they don’t eat vegetables.
▶ 7:22 There’s no citrus fruit up there and yet they don’t get scurvy. Are you hearing me. This guy is taking care of his family they’re raising kids they’re doing it on a hostile environment I wouldn’t want to live there. Detroit was cold enough for me I was glad to get away from there. This aborigine family and the aborigine as you know in the 1800s from the time Darwin come along with his evolution things and that blacks were the missing link between the gorilla and the white man and you know their procedure in the evolution is from monkey to gorilla to the neanderthal man to this kind of man and that man keeps getting lighter until you’ve got a white man at the top you ever seen that chart except the feminists they got a white woman at the top foreign.
▶ 8:27 That’s what evolution did evolution said women were had in the brain of a 12 year old child that’s what Darwin wrote in his book he put down women and he put down colored people. All right if if for no other reason you ought to know there’s something wrong with evolution when they start putting down other people could that be an amen anyway. These guys were treated horrible they were hunted like animals and they were cut into and they caught them and they killed them they were cut into to try to find the the connection between them and you know that they were hoping they were the missing link and this is all true you can you can search history the and I’m telling you facts they were put on display along with the pygmies of africa at the world’s fair here in the united states as the missing link that’s how strong Darwin’s book got very quickly are you there.
Scripture in this part
Romans 2:14-15 (NKJV)
for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)
— Romans 2:14-15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:28Is evolution an innocent philosophy?
Short answer: He calls evolution foolish science, not innocent or accurate. People who never heard of Christ still have conscience; John 8 shows Jesus turning tables so accusers leave one by one by conscience.
▶ 9:31 Evolution is not an innocent philosophy and it’s not even accurate. It’s foolish science. But these people never heard of Christ they never heard of the Bible. For centuries and millennium they never heard. Now you’re telling me they went to hell because they didn’t believe in Jesus. I submit to you Paul tells us in Romans that they can get into eternal life just like the rest of us by doing right as their conscience told them to do. Hallelujah. God has put a conscience in every one of his created beings and I use these people when these prophets are saying America is in prophecy and given me Bible allegories and europes and prophecy and and you know iran’s in prophecy well iran is because they were Persia of old but I told them you know the united states of America is no more in Bible prophecy than the eskimos and the aborigines.
▶ 10:48 God created all people all nations and he died for how many people all people Americans don’t have no special thing with God and and and this uh event of things neither do europeans or anybody else mankind has a special thing with God could that be true so I submit to you. Colonists had no excuse. As ignorant Christians as baby Christians as faith and grace Christians and neither did non-Christians. Have any excuse of harming innocent people and I can tell you why. If somebody turn and reverse the action on them they would not like it.
Scripture in this part
John 8:7-9 (NKJV)
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
— John 8:7-9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 11:39 (quoted; reference not named in the message)How strong is conscience against kidnapping and theft?
Short answer: Conscience is so strong people wouldn’t want property taken or to be kidnapped to a far country. First Timothy 4: seared conscience. Indians with different dress became Christians; mistreatment wasn’t justified by appearance.
▶ 11:40 That’s how strong the conscience is they wouldn’t want their property taken away they wouldn’t want to be kidnapped and taken off to a far-off country and made a slave they wouldn’t want to their voting rights in a in a republican and educational rights and and leadership rights and working rights taken away. That’s the conscience that’s what they called natural law nature’s law and nature’s God. Everybody has a conscience now. We want to address the conscience ability to convict the right and wrong John 8:7-9. We all know the story of the woman caught in adultery set up by these religious leaders. Jesus said to them he that is without sin among you let him cast the first stone at her they wanted her stone and then he stooped down knelt down and started riding on the ground and when they heard it.
▶ 12:45 What did they hear okay the guy without sin go ahead cast the first storm and then he’s riding on the ground now what could he be on writing on the ground well number one. If the woman committed adultery both the man and the woman were to be stoned and there’s no man brought. Number two when you falsely accuse someone or your witness is corrupted then you get the penalty that you wanted the one that you’re lying about to get and he’s got them off. And they went out one by one why they which heard it being convicted by their own conscience their conscience convicted them these were people that knew the scriptures but they didn’t do the scriptures they picked on this one woman trying to expose Christ.
▶ 13:44 Trying to show the fall flaws in Christ. And he just turned the tables on him. And they left one by one by their conscience everybody has a conscience of right and wrong they didn’t want to get stoned they knew this was a setup. When Christ approached it this way they knew that he would have a right to have them stoned and Jesus who had the pure life and had authority to stone the woman and then did not stone them. But showed mercy isn’t that beautiful and that’s the kind of mercy he’s showing sinners now. We got to understand that the conscience can be seared and sensitive.
▶ 14:37 And when it gets insensitive it can harm innocent people. In First Timothy 4:1-3 in the latter days some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits doctrines of devils speaking lies in hypocrisy and having their conscience seared with a hot iron. You see you can dull your conscience. You can by habit and ignoring your conscience begin to develop a conscience that’s insensitive you don’t feel bad about that slave being in slavery and being whipped and being killed because he’s property or that that indian.
▶ 15:33 Who’s got this funny haircut and wearing funny jewelry and having tattoos and all this stuff and a lot of these Indians became Christians and they were still. Mistreated. They persecuted the Tory the indian the woman and the slave. The baby in the womb I’m going to like it into slavery and I’ll tell you why and one of our presidential candidates is hitting it right on the head back then they said that the black was not a human being. Our supreme court. Passed a ruling that they were just property. They weren’t human beings therefore they couldn’t be citizens.
▶ 16:25 And they could be bought sold beaten killed whatever because they were somebody’s property. Today what do you got women saying my body is my property and the embryo inside me is my property and I can kill it. If I want to. They’ll say it’s not a human being and science has proven in 2013 that the embryo from conception is a human being they have proven it through dna. It doesn’t matter to those. You see their conscience is is is seared they’re insensitive they don’t care about the baby they don’t care about that baby being ripped out by the leg and the arm and and killed in an abortion.
Scripture in this part
1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV)
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
— 1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 14:46How does dehumanizing enable abortion and racism?
Short answer: Calling the baby not human repeats calling Africans not human; Darwin confirmed racist hierarchy in his telling. Faith-and-grace slogans now cover women marrying women—he calls it a wrong/demerit, not a right.
▶ 17:21 The baby they say is not a human being just like they said the African was not a human being and then Darwin come along and confirmed it and built on it in 1858 somewhere around there. Are you with me see we got the same thing today insensitive seared consciousness let’s take children. I’m going to liken them and to women back there remember they had no rights to get a good education they had no rights to work in a professional job or in government or in the church. Okay. If they were married they could not own property everything that they had when they brought into the marriage became the man’s and if she left the man kept it.
▶ 18:15 And we say that’s equality well the women today they can be president of the united states they can be a ceo of a corporation. They can vote. But their rights have extended into something that’s really wrong. You see they can have babies out of wedlock 47 percent of women have babies out of wedlock. And over 40 percent raise that baby. Without the father around. They can go to the sperm bank and get sperm they don’t even need a man and if they want a man they just use him to get pregnant then they discard him and listen I know what I’m talking about because of people come into the church they do these things. And they will worship and they will pray just.
▶ 19:12 Hallelujah faith and grace faith and grace. See women have a right now to marry a woman. It’s really a wrong they have a wrong demerit they have the freedom to be wrong to marry a woman they have the freedom to be wrong to abort their child they have a freedom to be wrong to have babies without a without a father and the two raised that child. They’re insensitive. Their conscience is shared could that be true yeah. And a lot of them say they are Christians. The. Indians. Uh. 18 million crimes are committed.
▶ 20:06 In America every year so there’s 18 million victims. And uh. The Indians property were taken away the Indians were transported to be on reservations. The Indians can’t be a citizen as long as they stay on the reservation they cannot own property as long as they’re on the reservation that that’s horrible crime against the indian what’d you say. Would you like to be put on a parcel of land somewhere of somebody else’s choice and not be able to own any of the land and the government give you some money every month to to stay there and shut up. Folks it’s happening today in America.
What is a seared conscience in politicians and preachers?
Short answer: Insensitivity: politicians, preachers and Christian people with seared conscience won’t feel victims’ pain. Better pay the jobless to clean streets and mow lawns with aid until better work—build something rather than empty dependency.
▶ 21:01 It’s insensitivity our politicians our preachers are Christian people that they their conscience is seared; they have no sensitivity. They won’t listen to the right part of the conscience and then you got the Tories remember the Tories were. People that just had a different system of government belief and today we got the socialists and the free enterprise system that is in a war in America. 30 percent of Americans between 18 and 85 that can work are not working 30 percent now I’m not talking about those on social security and the retirement and all that they earn I’m talking about people that can work are not working.
▶ 21:57 And we believe the lie in the financial page that it’s five percent. That is not true. And listen to this 35 of Americans get government aid the government pays them to do some wrong thing they want them to do. It’s a government system. That that handicaps the product productivity and the inventing initiative and the ambition of Americans. Could that be an amen. We got it today. And people who follow this socialistic work more and more they even saying they’re socialists now. The people of America that are following it their conscience has to be seared and insensitive because you’re turning a people in to basic welfare slaves.
▶ 23:06 If they would pay them to clean the streets. Mow lawns clean pools give them aid until they get a better job then they could build something in them but these people just said home watch tv. Have parties every Friday night and take drugs and drink and all this and the government just keeps paying if a woman has a child they reward her by giving her more money she has another one they rewarded by giving them more money. So the same thing is happening in America today is what I’m trying to show you that happened and the colonial days and you cannot justify mistreating people. Could that be an amen. Now. I’m going to give you some more facts the conscience can be evil evil just another word for harmful harm.
▶ 24:04 When you do things that harm yourself and others that’s evil. And the conscience can be evil as many early colonial Christians and non-Christians were Titus 1:15. To the pure all things are pure to them there are defiled and I’m believing nothing is pure. See the people that have a good conscience and want to do right when they act they try to do everything with that consciousness of right. But when you have that conscience seared and hardened so much that you’re just doing evil then you don’t see any reason. To act in what is naturally right. Whatever you believe is right is right to you but even their mind and their conscience is defiled and that’s what he’s telling he said you know they’re conscious whether they’re Christians or whether they’re non-Christians their conscience is what defiled it’s corrupt it’s evil it’s harmful they’re thinking their conscience is harmful.
Do works deny a professed knowledge of God?
Short answer: Titus 1: they profess they know God but in works deny him, and in Revelation people are judged by works. Hebrews 9–10: the blood of Christ cleanses the conscience; Ezekiel 36: a new heart and new spirit. He asks whether we mistreat people today because of tattoos, haircuts, color or clothes.
▶ 25:11 They profess they know God here’s the Christian part. But in works they deny him. And in Revelation were they judged by their faith or were they judged by their works before the great white throne judgment works your behavior the way you treat people. Being an abominable boy that means detestable disobedient and unto every good work reprovate or undisciplined. Why because people’s conscience were sheared and they had become hard and evil. They had no problem mistreating people. And for 400 years the African American paid a horrible price for 400 years. Now let me tell you something the 14th amendment was created to protect the African.
▶ 26:16 That’s why it was made after the 13th amendment set him free the 14th amendment gave him protection. Okay. The chinese used the 14th amendment the japanese used the 14th amendment the mexicans used the 14th amendment all of these races used the 14th amendment but when the African tried to use the 14th amendment they were turned down by the same supreme court. They used it. To let other races and other nationalities be free I mean you know that’s a seared conscience that’s an evil harmful conscience and there’s no excuse for that. Amen. The good news.
▶ 27:10 Is Jesus and his word can clean. And change the conscience Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God without sin how much more shall the blood of Christ purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God can we have a new conscience. Yes. We’re going to be judged by how we treat other people innocent people not talking about criminals. And the Bible and Jesus himself. Will change our conscience. Hallelujah. Very powerful Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart.
▶ 28:04 And full assurance of faith heaven our hearts sprinkled with the blood of Christ from an evil conscience. The blood of Christ cleanses from all sin it cleanses the conscience. In Ezekiel 36 26 talking about the new covenant remember last week I said 90 percent of Christians cannot quote me the old or new covenant. They don’t even know what the word means. They just know we’re under the new covenant. Well this is part of the new covenant. A new heart will I give you the heart is the mind and where’s the conscience at the heart and their thoughts the conscience is in your mind and the battle. For the kingdom of God is going on in the mind the heart isn’t something down here that we invisibly oh my heart the heart is the emotion of a man the mind of a man and the will of a man a human being.
▶ 29:08 And a new spirit will I put within you is it possible. That we have mistreated people in our day maybe because they got tattoos funny haircut. Funny color. Wear funny clothes. Maybe they’re homosexuals. And we know it’s wrong but we don’t have a right if they’re not hurting anyone and recruiting and so forth. Are you hearing me. And going how are you to change people if you go around killing them. They’re going to change people if you write them off your list can’t preach the gospel to them.
▶ 30:08 I submit to you we may be here today. And in some areas our conscience has been seared insensitive it does not cause us to weep when we hear that baby parts are being sold. Doesn’t break our heart at all. That that baby in the womb is being cut to precision to save the head or save the heart or some part. And I’m using that because that came out and proof is here and so many Americans are so insensitive they don’t feel for that child at all. And our hearts are evil. When a person can pre-meditatively set up and kill someone murder them rape them and not be executed for it.

— Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 28:18Are we ignoring victims’ rights today?
Short answer: He says we are not caring about victims’ rights: when people have things stolen from their house or car and they don’t have insurance, the thief does not have to pay it back. We are usually sensitive to our own mistreatment but need to get sensitive to what is done to other people.
▶ 31:02 We’re not caring about the victims rights. When people can have their things stolen out of their house or their car stolen and if they don’t have insurance that thief does not have to pay it back that’s not victims rights and we need to get sensitive. To the things that are being done to people. You know we’re usually sensitive to our own mistreatment. And so we rally around people that are getting mistreated like us. But what about the other people that are being mistreated. Mistreatment is mistreatment isn’t that true and somewhere we need a conscience we need a sensitivity to weep over to care about and to stand up.
▶ 31:56 What I’m saying is there were colonists. That had it right. And they stood against wrong they rose up in rebellion against immorality. And folks we need to in our day and hour we need a moral mutiny.
